"Ah, Architecture, right" Owen said, remembering now. He gave a smile at how happy Hikaru seemed to be at the thought of it. He glanced around as Logan mentioned the same, approaching.
"Is that right, dad?" the Logamon asked, eagerly, his tail even wagging a little. "So that's where I get it from! Hehe, when Tadao's studying for college I usually read books, and things like that interest me too! Well, the human world things after all. Especially the things that aren't there anymore..." his eyes twinkled a little as he thought of them. "The Hanging Gardens of Babylon... the Lighthouse of Alexandria... they sound so amazing and I wish they were still around..."
Owen was rather surprised at this. He felt a little ashamed that he wasn't really familiar with the interests of his eldest son, but he walked over and patted his back regardless.
"Well, mate, if that's what you want, I'll do my best to get it for you" he said. "After all... a lot of the mysteries of the digital world have some link or another with the myths and legends of Earth, so, you never know... I'll do what I can for you and your dad, I promise".
Logan smiled back at Owen for this. He knew his father's specialty was Recon in military terms, and that gave him a good chance of making good of that promise. "Thanks, dad" he said.
When Hikaru mentioned a date, Logan and Bezil politely declined too. "Nah, don't worry about us" Bezil said, returning the hug that Haku gave him. Logan was a little surprised but didn't resist, smiling. "Yep, what aniki said~" Bezil continued.
Haku seemed to really like the idea of a trip to the Spartan Training Grounds though. "Alrighty then. One day we should all go out there and do a bit of training then" Owen promised. "I'd love to see what you boys can do. I might even teach you a few little tricks".
The three of them looked at the picture of the site. "The Shining Sea..." Owen repeated. "I've heard of that place... never been there though, wow. Well, honey, when you get the base up, we'll come around and visit there" he said.
With that, Bezil decided to play distraction and draw Haku and Logan's attention. "So! Have you guys been on any adventures yet?!" he asked. "You have to, right? You're both older than me".
Taking his chance, Owen turned to Hikaru. "Let's take our leave here" he said, stroking his shoulder invitingly. He loved everything about his fiance, how soft and warm he was, how cute his face could be, how every time they were close he felt nothing less than happiness. With their sons busy getting to know each other, they wouldn't be missed it seemed.
