A Nice Break [Leith, Miyu]
|
Post by Toki Akiyama on Nov 6, 2018 0:16:38 GMT
Toki was a little overwhelmed by everything that Leith said had happened to him and didn't even know where to begin. "I've never met anyone who actively wanted me dead...well, attacked me, sure, but not with the intend to kill me. I...really don't know what to say other than I'm sorry, Leith. And...I don't understand. Why would any self-respecting parent kick you out of your home for something like this? This is out of your control and none of this is your fault at all! They should be ashamed of themselves!" he said, actually getting angry over something. "I can't stand people who harshly punish others for situations beyond anyone's control! It just..." he took a deep breath and shook his head "You deserve better, Leith. I can tell you're a good person. I'm glad you have others who are willing to help you out through this. Cherish those moments and those people."
He tilted his head a bit "And you're dating a digimon? Hm. I don't think I've heard of that happening before...at least none that I know of. Either way, I hope you're happy with them!" he said sincerely. He chuckled a bit "Most of the time we can't tell who we will end up connecting with. The world is fascinating like that, isn't it?"
Toki looked over at Shoutmon and just...grinned before he shrugged "Strength and violence may have gotten you where you are now, but true fulfillment comes from something more than just that. You need integrity to back it up." he said, making it clear that Shoutmon's boasting won't impress him.
He placed a hand to his chest and smiled warmly at the news about Haru "I'm...glad she's okay. I haven't heard from her in so long I was worried. I can understand needing a break, for sure. It's part of the reason I'm here to begin with. To unwind and relax before my next big adventure. Speaking of..." he looked over at Leith "Just be careful out there okay? If there's anything you know about the people who wanted to hurt you, tell us. We'll keep an eye out for them. People like that shouldn't be allowed to wander freely to do as they please."
Lastly, he looked to Veemon "Hey Veemon, come here a second." he knelt down to talk to him one on one "Take care of him, alright? And...your friend's attitude worries me a bit. Help guide him, okay?" he said, referring to Shoutmon.

"The 'people' who wanted to hurt me was just one person - I mean, one human - and one digimon." Apparently Leith had let slip his unconscious bias for a moment. "Her name's Niko Sasanishi. I'm with you, Toki. You know what? We had the chance to deal with them on the spot, but this one-" Leith gestured to Veemon. "-and that Colin kid both didn't want to go that way. I almost think they were right because we've never seen them again, but..." Leith felt the need to stop and breathe. His voice was getting a bit shaky despite his obvious effort to prevent that. "...I can't walk into a room without scanning for an escape route anymore." Why was Leith so open about this with two practical strangers? Well, for him, it had been long enough to at least come to terms with his own neurosis, not to mention he'd discussed these things with others already before Toki and, apparently, this Miyu girl. Besides, Leith wasn't ashamed of his symptoms, at least not anymore; he just wished they were gone. He admitted, "Like if something happens right now, I'm gonna try and hop that bush to slow the chaser and go left, most people's non-dominant side, before breaking into a sprint."
"Leith." Veemon wasn't scolding Leith for what he was saying, and the Tamer knew it; Veemon just wanted his attention so it wouldn't be in the rabbit hole he was threatening to fall into. While Leith turned away to gather himself, Veemon continued, "Leith's parents were just worried that digimon would be dangerous to them, and when he went home-"
"-They were a couple'a little shits! Kinda right about the digimon thing, though." Shoutmon crossed his arms then to glare at Toki. "If you wanna insult my 'integrity,' you better be ready to either step up or step down." Shoutmon summoned his mic stand, then, and it obviously wasn't for a karaoke contest. "You don't know shit about me, and I'm bein' nice. Watch your mouth, you self-righteous little shit!"
Trying to deescalate things, Veemon stepped between the red digimon and spirit wielder. "Shoutmon, please!" Veemon pleaded before hastily changing the subject. "Leith's parents have been... I can't tell you how good to him. They're just scared."
"Well I'm sick of being judged before anyone knows me!"
"I'm trying-"
"Shut the fuck up already!" Miyu's secret spot had a chance of becoming a little less hidden after that outburst; the yell of a heavy metal singer was no joke, though it sounded like when Leith next spoke his voice was a bit weaker because of it. "Just... fuck, talk about anything else. I know I'm fucking whin-whining here. I know you - Miyu, right? - you've been through shit, too, and you're not being a damn baby about it. Toki, I'm sure that's true for you, too. But just... anything else." The young man had pretended to wipe some of his long hair from his eyes to accomplish his true purpose of wiping fluid from them. Veemon didn't translate that outburst until it was done, and when he did it was with a deep frown and hung head.
Heck, even Shoutmon looked out of the corner of his eye at his Tamer with a semblance of guilt. The digimon knew better; escalated situations and a boy with Leith's autism-related symptoms didn't go together well. So he banished his stand and muttered, "...sorry, Leith," with obvious reluctance but also genuine sincerity.

Miyu smile at Toki scolding the rude Shoutmon,, if it wasn't him she was going to do it in any second, it was a real oposite compared to the V-mon and the young tamer, she kept listening without interrupting, there wasn't much she could do and one part of her regretted a little to be here, this things where a little too personal to share specially with a person you just met.
"I'm really sorry to hear that... Leith, right?" Miyu try to find the words to help "It's really horrible that those things happen I guess not everyone is ready to know the secret of the digimon, it surely is something I wouldn't gather the bravery to tell my family about" The chinese girl wished she could help in some way, this wasn't really an easy topic
One thing was for sure tho Miyu was getting fed up with the attitude of Shoutmon, no wonder Leith parents thought Digimon could be dangerous with that little dragon as partner, demanding not being judged before anyone knowing him yet acting all high and might like that, the last straw for the chinese girl was when he call Leith parents a "couple of little shits", for her there was nothing sacred than the family, even if they kick him out that was crossing a line
"I'm sorry" She sighed looking at Shoutmon before giving him a slap. "You're an idiot, you demand not being judge before people knowing you yet the first impression you gave is ugly to say the least, if you want respect you should do the same, treat people the same way you want to be treated and if you want someone to step up against you do not worry because I've been through worst in the digital world than you"
Yeah probably not the best reaction but what else she could do? Words weren't going to get through the red dragon, Bloom might not be here but that doesn't mean Miyu is weak and si going to stay silent and do nothing, but a gulty feeling after Leith voice raise again and well... Have a breakdown... This time Miyu couldn't hold herself walking towards the young tamer and giving him a soft hug.
"There, there... It's OK, I know we need to let this things go otherwise it'll be worst, don't minimize your problems we all have them but that doesn't mean some are bigger than others, share all you need until you feel better"

Toki scratched the back of his head, uncertain as to who this Niko was. "Hm...well I wasn't there so I can't make any kind of judgment on what happened, but breathe, Leith. We're here for each other. You're not alone, and with Veemon and Shoutmon you never will be." he said with a smile. "So now I'll respect your wishes and change the subject."
He sighed a bit when Miyu started to scold Shoutmon...harshly. While it was something that likely had to be said, this wasn't good right now "Okay okay, everyone...stop. Right now." he looked at Miyu, then at Shoutmon "I understand tensions are high, but if this gets out of hand there's going to be a lot of explaining to do...we're in the human world right now. Plus..." he looked at Leith "Do you think this is what he needs right now? No. It's not. So let's just...stop. For him, alright?" he said.
Though, Miyu hugging Leith was exactly what he needed, so he calmed down a bit there. "Okay, let's talk about something else. Hm..." he brushed his chin, trying to think of what to say. "What about what made us happy during our adventures? The good times?" he smiled. "I'll start with a story of some of the people I met along the way. This one time I got lost in the Folder Desert when I first arrived in the Digital World. Wow that was dumb of me. I could have been in serious trouble if I didn't meet my friend Cion. She arrived on this jet-like Digimon and took me to Terminus." he laughed a bit. "To this day I don't regret my decision to go to the desert since I met her and her friend."
What else..."Ah right, I'll talk about this and let everyone else talk. So when another friend of mine, K, and I were wandering these old ruins in that very same desert, we came across a Lunamon named Aylin. She had apparently heard of my spirit totems activating and was in a scramble to find them. When she heard that I was the spirit user for them she got so excited and happy to meet me. After some puzzle solving and talking down a particularly angry Antylamon...I got my first spirit totem. Since then Aylin's been a huge help in the Digital World and has helped me find my totems on numerous occasions. She's great, you'd all like her. She's very excitable and loves talking to people." he said with a warm smile.
He kept a close eye on everyone, though. Tensions were still high and he really didn't want them to boil over. He just hoped they would listen that a fight breaking out is an extraordinarily bad idea and that it would only hurt Leith more than he already has been.

When hugged, Leith raised his arms instinctively but held them there, looking like he'd never been hugged before and wasn't sure he actually wanted to be, especially by this near-stranger. Lowering his arms, then, he apparently decided he wasn't going to give the hug back. However, Miyu still accomplished what she set out for. Leith, after a minute or so of silence and clearly trying to hold things in, succeeded in calming down.
Still, Veemon turned out to be the first one to share an experience. "Leith and I found the crest of friendship together in a temple in the dessert. That was the first time we went to the digital world, and it was the first time we really did something meaningful together."
After sniffing once, Leith chimed in, "Are you serious? We were almost impaled, crushed, buried, drowned, buried-"
"Ya said 'buried' twice," Shoutmon pointed out.
"It happened twice," Veemon somehow recounted with a smile. Even odder, Leith was weakly smiling, too. "That was before you were there."
"Man, why'd I miss all the good shit?"
"What are you talking about? You two play in your band now!"
"Hey, that's... that's true, OK." For a moment it looked like Shoutmon would get riled up again, but he calmed down very quickly this time.
Leith tried to politely step away from Miyu's embrace then before expressing his own. "I guess as long as we're sharing..." Leith tried his best, but in the end he seemed to have a lot of trouble thinking of something until, "Rosewood, first night. I got to play for an audience for the first time in a really long time, and we met those two brothers. Shit, I forget their names..."
"Roy and Rex," Veemon finished.
To Toki, Leith weakly admitted, "As you've seen many times by now, names and faces aren't my thing. I remember personal traits better."

Miyu actually didn't expect Leith to hug her back just to calm him down a little, to make him feel safe that even if they just met he can trust her to vent, gladly it help at little, Toki manage the situation better started sharing stories, listening how he got lost on the ruins it was specially funny to her because the ruins in the desert where the place of her first adventure in the digital world once Bloom evolved into Palmon, the second story made the Chinese girl go from smiling to frowning at the mention of one name (actually letter) "K", being honest she doesn't know much about that but Haru and her sister were talking about how a Mega Digimon went on a rampage on the library and K was the name, the frown didn lasted too long when the Lunamon named Aylin was brought up she smile again, she sounded like a nice digimon.
Then she listen to Leith and what a surprise another adventure on the desert, although this one didn't sound like it went as good as the other and considering how her last adventure on the desert went.... Yeah the digital world can be unfair and give a lot of troubles when you least expect, but in anycase it was her turn to share... Which adventure would she pick?
"I can't say many of my adventures were happy ones, specially the last couple I've been on two near death experience the same day" And then the next day was involve on a triple way kidnapping but telling that would've been a little overkill and this was a happy story moment. "But if I can tell something is about my partner, as Toki recognize her she's a Tanemon, her name is Bloom and most of our adventures revolve around exploring the digital world and uncover her past!" She said with an excited expresion, really gathering information about the Banchos and Bloom's past was extremely fun. "She's on her second life cycle and from time to time she gets flashes of memories of her past life, so I'm helping her regain those memories, apparently she was part of a strong group of Digimon known as Ban-tyo or Banchos led by BanchoLeomon, for what we know the group was composed by Leomon, Mamemon, Stingmon, Golemon and Lillymon this last one being Bloom's past life, as for now the group has been disbanded and everyone had took their own path, but we're still looking for them, hopefully I can reunite Bloom with her old friends one day!"

Toki was so glad everyone here was comfortable sharing their stories. He looked over at Leith and chuckled "Sounds like a typical Digital World adventure. Glad you're all okay after all of that though. Seriously."
He couldn't help but laugh at Shoutmon's reaction "Well you're here now so you get to experience everything from here on out, right? You'll make your own adventures and memories."
Toki smiled at Leith "Hey, don't worry about it, okay? We all have our own ways of remembering things. Veemon here seems to have you covered in the names department anyway, so you'll get there one day."
He was slightly curious about this band "A band, huh? I'll have to come listen one of these days. I'm usually in the Eastern Timberlands anyway when I'm not out on some other adventure, so it would be fun! What kind of music do you guys play?"
Soon his attention went to Miyu "I've had my share of dangers too. I've take down a couple of those Dark Towers, one of them with Leith. Those things are too dangerous to be left alone, so someone's got to help whenever they show up." he said. However, he didn't want things to get too serious again "I'm trying my best to help my spirit find out more about his past one step at a time, so I guess we sort of have a similar goal! Can't say I've heard of the Banchos, but they sound tough...I remember a few guys back in high school who liked to call themselves that. Some of them were pretty cool, others were...not." he sighed.
Miyu's goal was admirable "I'd like to meet Bloom one of these days. If there's anything I can do to help her reconnect with her old friends I'd love to try. It still fascinates me how Digimon can live all of these lives and have friendships that truly transcend lifetimes. It's honestly...beautiful."

"Toki, I think you're trying to be nice," Leith prefaced before getting to his point, "so I'm gonna say this as respectfully as possible without compromising factual accuracy: the fact that digimon form bonds that last over multiple lifetimes is not beautiful." Despite the preface, Leith was clearly a little hurt by Toki's opinion. Leith looked to Veemon then, expecting the blue digimon to look a little broken up by the talk of past lives. In truth the blue drake was looking very composed and outwardly dispassionate, but Leith was more than able to recognize his own defense mechanisms in other people; Veemon was simply emotionally withdrawing. In fact, Shoutmon had to be the one to interpret now because Veemon had stopped. Still, there was no way to get out of an explanation. "Vee's on his second life, too, at least. That Niko chick wanted to destroy him or whatever in the hopes another reset would remind him that her dead brother was his old partner. He can't remember a thing about them, but we saw and heard enough to believe she was telling the truth." Leith's voice was lower as he explained this. "So no. This resurrection thing of theirs is not beautiful. Can't be that ugly if you guys think it works, Miyu, but it's not beautiful. It's just different."
The fact that Shoutmon hastily changed the subject then, as well as what he changed it to, might have looked like an egotistical move when in reality, so he intended, it was actually a show of great tact. "You know what is beautiful? The sound of our band Haunted Threnody!" Leith almost wanted to snap at Shoutmon for such an abrupt and self-serving change of subject, but then he remembered Toki had asked about it. "Leith, play something!" "Huh? Uh... OK." Unlike the braggadocios Shoutmon, Leith had held onto modesty in success, so he looked a little unsure of himself as he pushed a few digivice buttons and used its radio function to start playing one of Haunted Threnody's songs. OOC: Given my inability to compose and record a song for you, here's a song in the style of what Haunted Threnody may sound similar to. While the music played, Shoutmon started to brag, "Used to be Leith's solo project, but then I came along and made it great!"
"Excuse me?"
"Then we got a live violin girl who sings and a live drummer! It's like metal but with a bunch of orchestra instruments and shit. Gotta make backing tracks for some of it, but, dude, if you like metal, you have got to see one of our shows sometime!" The diversion helped Veemon get his mind out of the rabbit hole it tended to go (haunted by the ignorance of who he used to be, that is) and relax again.

So Toki was trying to help his spirit to know more about its past? She doesn't know much about spirits so she assume it was more of a source of power rather than a conscious being, well you learn something new everyday and she can relate to Toki's goal after all she's doing the same for Bloom.
"Mhm! I guess it's the least we can do after all they do for us" She nodded "I wish she was here surely she'll love to meet you guys!" Well she might have a problem with Shoutmon, but nothing too big. "And yes, for what we heard this Banchos are pretty strong, have a strong sense of justice and nothing will stop them to do what they think it's correct, protecting the weak agains any possible threat be a royal knight or a Demon lord" Pretty badass if anyone ask her although she doesn't know what a Royal Knight or Demon Lord are (she knows a "dark" lord tho) but they do sound pretty strong
One thing that really brough her mood down was the reaction of Leith towards the reincarnation cycle, he brought a point she actually never considered... Since Bloom didn't really show any sign of regret or worry about any of the memories she had or at least the ones she shared with her the chinese girl thought that having bonds and memories that go beyond life and last for an eternity was something beautiful, never thought on the possibility of also having also to carry the consequences of the acts you made on the past life, the same way you create bonds of friendship there are those rotten bonds fueled by hate and revenge... All this only made so Miyu started question if Bloom was honest with all the things she share or just share the good ones to not worry her, to say that her smile disappear was an understatement, the chinese girl didn't make the effort to hide how bad she was feeling, she thought it would be best if she let the two friends catch up now.
As Leith talked about his band Miyu stood up and walk up to her scooter, looking for something on the side car, moving a couple of lunch boxes she pull a small backpack and from that a small harp, without saying a word she walked towards the wooden crate and sit next to it and slowly start pulling the strings to make some sound before closing her eyes and start playing a rather melancholic tune.

Toki sighed heavily "There's a positive side and a negative side to everything, I suppose...I'm sorry for bringing up something hurtful for Veemon. I'll try to avoid the topic again." he said apologetically. It wasn't going to change his viewpoint, however, just add to it. While negative things and grudges can also be carried over, the friendships and companionship from before can also help through the darker times. There was no objective truth or answer. If anything this only made his resolve stronger. So many in the Digital World, and those who travel it, needed help. Then Leith demonstrated an example of the music he played and he listened to it as he pulled out a notebook filled with poems and haiku. The music was pretty good and smiled softly at their passion for it. He pulled out a pen and began to write. Tales of happiness And tales of utter sorrow Bring all together. This was how Toki rationalized everything. If there was ever something he felt conflicted or torn about, he would write it down in a notebook in the form of haiku. He closed the book and put it away before listening to the rest of Leith's performance. Then, afterwards, Miyu started playing her own music on a harp. The song seemed sad, the notes lingering in the air as he took in the meanings. This meeting didn't go as he had planned, but at the same time it was something good for them, he felt. They were all able to talk about themselves, their emotional baggage, and how they're dealing with it all. Despite the melancholy atmosphere, Toki still smiled warmly at the group "We may have our differences and we may disagree on some things...but we're still in this together. Through the good, and the bad...and it's my goal to do my best to make the memories more positive. But I can't do that all on my own. You've all got your own journeys ahead of you, as do I. In the end it's up to you all how you want to proceed. But I'd like to think we all have each other's backs when it all comes down to it."A faint image of Antylamon appears next to Toki, sat down next to him "I could not have said it better myself. Good evening, all of you." it said with a bow of its head. "My, quite crowded here. It seems well out of the way enough, at least. I am the Spirit that Toki mentioned. It's wonderful to meet you all."Toki smiled at his spirit friend when he decided to join in on the conversation, though how much longer the group was going to be gathered here this evening was unclear. "Yep, there he is. He's been a great help to me throughout my journey. In any case...I'm glad we were able to meet here, and I hope...that my words didn't hurt any of you."

"Whatcha got there?" Hopefully Toki wouldn't mind Shoutmon jumping up once to see what he was writing down because the little red drake did exactly that. Apparently he only needed one hop to identify it as, "A poem?"
Leith raised an eyebrow with genuine interest in response to this revelation. "You do that, too?" Finally, the young man cracked a smile as he reached into his back pocket and showed Toki a little blue notebook of his own. "Can't leave home without it. Never know when lyrical inspiration strikes, you know?" As he put it away then he assured Toki, "That's sure a long winded way of saying 'I've got your back,' but you've been good to me and Vee where it mattered. The feeling is mutual." Leith and Shoutmon both jumped back, startled, when the rabbit digimon showed up out of apparently nowhere, but the young man was a good enough sport to this time chuckle at his own jumpiness with part embarrassment and part true humor. "So you're the one who turns him into a digimon? Shit, I can't even imagine what a feeling that's gotta be."
"That is so freaking cool!" Shoutmon couldn't help himself from exclaiming. His only knowledge about spirit users was secondhand, after all. "What goes on, bunny boy?"
"And listen. About Vee: don't worry too bad about him. He doesn't really get mad at much of anything, and he can never really manage to stay sad for too long. I guess the best way to describe him would be that he's... not here." That conclusion wasn't the one Leith had intended, but as he tried to look at Veemon while speaking he found the blue digimon was not immediately in his sight. "Where'd he go?"
At least he wasn't far. Shoutmon pointed him out, and the young man followed the red digimon's finger to find Veemon sitting cross-legged in front of Miyu, leaning forward with eyes as wide as his grin like a good audience. It was only at this point that Leith noticed she was plucking away at a harp, which led him and Shoutmon to walk toward her. "That's amazing!" Veemon exclaimed.
"I'm a metal purist, but I still know how to tell good musicianship from the bullshit. Not bad, Miyu," Leith concurred.
"I've always wanted to learn to play an instrument, but-" Veemon inhaled sharply when he realized what he'd just confessed to, but the 'damage' was already done. Leith raised an eyebrow, confused, and Shoutmon appeared just completely baffled.
"Come again? You know we've both been, like... right here, right? Like, the whole time?" For some reason, Veemon seemed to find this revelation embarrassing somehow. "What, did you think we'd say no? Yeah, let's talk about that later. That'd be pretty cool." The smile that returned to Veemon's face seemed less amused and more relieved. Apparently, the young man could be a little empathetic after all. In fact, he confirmed that when he addressed the group, "Listen: I'm a downer, and I know it, and the truth is I'm not sorry about that because I'm a product of my brain, body, and circumstances like anyone else. But I can be a big boy and own it." To his partners, then suggested, "Why don't we get out of here? Wouldn't wanna stay too long and risk Skye finding out we're here," referring to his younger sister.

Miyu was completely lost in her own world, letting the music speak for herself and slowly but surely what started as a sad and melancholic tune slowly evolve into a sweet and relaxing melody, she remember most of her adventures with Bloom up until this point and while yes, there were a lot of bad moments specially in the last couple, the positivity always outweights the negative, thanks to those adventures Bloom manage to evolve and get stronger, she met Katherine and Jazz and together rescue a Kokatorimon and her daughter from some kidnappers, the more she recall the good on the adventures the more upbeat and happy the melody starte sounding, she would only stop when noticing V-mon sitting in front of her.
"S-So you like it?" The chinese girl asked blushing a little, getting more red when Leith also complement her. "T-thanks... I always found the music of the harp being the best to relax and express one self, they say that music is the voice of the soul so when I feel sad or something bothers me I bring the little harp and let my soul sing until I feel better"
She would then just give a small nod to Leith about being a downer, she understood perfectly and wasn't mad at him, if anything she was the one that over reacted to his comment, one more thing call her attention was the faint image of a digimon next to Toki, to be honest she was surprised, but Tawna set up a kinda impossible bar for first impressions when it comes to digimon introductions so the surprise wasn't as big.
"Nice to meet you mr. Spirit!" She said and made a little bow. "And I hope we can have each others back, promise if that's the case you guys won't be dissapointed, Bloom can turn into a giant angry boxing cactus and she has a killer right" Miyu laughed

Everything seemed to be working out now. No one was fighting, no one was angry. This was nice. Toki gave Shoutmon and Leith a smile when Shoutmon's genuine curiosity pointed out the poem Toki was writing "Yeah, a poem. Whenever I feel like I need to gather my thoughts or rationalize something that happened I just write them down as haiku. I'm not sure if I'm very good at it, but it brings me peace. Probably a lot like how writing music makes you feel better, too."
The fact that Leith still felt a sort of trust in Toki made him feel all the better "Of course! I'm glad I was able to be there for you guys."
Toki and his spirit were both amused by everyone's reactions. His spirit bowed his head at Shoutmon "I am simply here listening to the conversation, my friend. I was worried for a moment, but now it seems the situation is calm. I'm glad you and Veemon are there for Leith. It's a wonderful thing when a group works so well with each other despite the hardships." he said. He looked at Leith "That is right. With my power, Toki can become a Digimon. Though it is becoming just as much his power as it is mine...he is a quick learner. Before I had to guide his hand in Digimon form, but now he's mastered the forms he has so far. It makes me very proud."
Toki blushed slightly at the praise "It took my a while to get to that point...but thank you. I appreciate it." he said. He looked around with Leith when Veemon wandered off "Hm...? Oh, there he is." he said and looked over to see him with Miyu. He nodded at Veemon's praise "I thought it sounded great, Miyu. I could feel the emotions you were trying to convey with your music. It was somber...but also really uplifting in some places. You have a talent there. Both of you do."
His spirit smiled at Miyu "I am glad to meet you as well. I would like to meet your friend one day."
Toki looked at Leith and approved of his and Shoutmon's support for Veemon. He knew the three of them would be okay if they kept this up together. He nodded at Leith "If that is who you are and you can keep pushing forward then who I am to judge? We all have struggles and that's perfectly okay." he said. When Leith said he was about to get going, he nodded "Well if you think it's time to head out, then best of luck to you, alright? You three keep fighting the good fight and be there for each other. You'll do great."

Well, it seemed Miyu had no objection at all about Leith wanting to take off. That makes enough sense. The premise was sound after all. Still... Leith frowned a moment. ...I know it's my own fault, but I wish she would have acted at least a little disappointed. But then there was Toki. who by either sincerity or by diplomatic instinct managed to simultaneously respect the young man's decision while, if not sad he was leaving, seemed happy he had been there. "I'm... still not sure what the good fight actually is, man, or what criteria actually define doing great in this line of work. I guess that's part of the whole thing, eh?"
When Leith turned to his own partners he told them, "You guys know the drill, right? Can't walk around with a couple of demidragons on these streets." Both digimon nonverbally acknowledged that they had to be stored to travel back to the station, their only way of travel between worlds. "Digitize." They did. Leith turned to Miyu and Toki as he started walking backwards. "See you guys whenever, I guess! Toki, let me know if that voice in your head ever starts to drive you nuts. I know a good therapist!" Of course that was just a little tongue-in-cheek, Leith's typical signoff before he pivoted 180 degrees and made for the nearest train station. Leith has left the thread.

Just as things where getting a little more nice and pleasant it seemed it was already time to say goodbye to Leith at least, to be honest it was a little dissapointed yet but surely he had important things to do and besides the important is that they got the chance to meet each other so that means that in they can see each other in the future, the digital world may look like a big place but fate works in mysterious ways after all, a chance encounter doesn't sound impossible.
"Take care, hopefully will meet each other again in the future!" Said the girl cheerfully "I hope things get better ofr you, if you need someone to vent you can look for me on Tamernet and I'll be sure to help you!"
Having said the goodbyes she focus back on Toki, meeting spirits users was a rare occurrance for her and she would love to get all the info possible, turning into a digimino must be an interesting experience and the spirit being able to hide itself it's something convenient that she could use instead of having to rely on people not questioning the rather huge potted plant she carries around, although Bloom has a holo-suit now so that might help to keep her hidden.
"Glad you like it Toki, like I said I mainly just close my eyes and let my heart talk when I'm playing" She said with a smile "I would love to see your spirit on action one day, hopefully will meet again in the digital world... We could try to coordinate and go to the Village of beginnings togehter!" That would be nice and actually be good for Miyu to jump back at the digital world taking babysteps on a place that is safe and full of little baby digimon. "But for now I guess it's time for me to move on too, the food it's not gonna sell itself you know?" With a little giggle and a wink Miyu stood up going to her scooter, putting back the harp on her backpack and slowly got out. "Take care Toki, it was nice meeting you"
