"Damn it! He can't have gotten far, find that bird!"
The thunderous noise of giant feet tromping across the valley came and went, and as they did Quill the Hawkmon finally let out a sharp exhale. As he did so, he took a moment to recap his situation.
He wasn't entirely sure how long it had been, but a while back he had been kidnapped in the dead of night after reuniting with Rythix, his Honeybeemon companion from the 7/71st. Before he knew it, he had been taken to the Valley of Dragons, captured by a group of Digimon that apparently had some quarrel with the 7/71st themselves for their sympathies toward humans. Quill had never been able to gather any intel on the name of the organization or its hierarchy, but knew that whatever they had in store for him would not be pleasant.
The bird's suspicions were quickly confirmed as he was eventually forced into an underground fighting ring, where he was not expected to last long. However, dying in such an undignified manner was not becoming of a gentleman like Quill. So he persevered against all odds and slowly acquired enough strength to mount his escape.
Now here he stood, gasping for breath while hiding behind a cliff face in the Valley of Dragons, dazed and disoriented. He was still in grave danger, and if he was caught he'd most assuredly be killed. Now would be the perfect time for a miracle to occur, but lately Quill was becoming a bit of a skeptic.

It was the most heartbreaking moment of his life when he woke up to find that his friend had gone missing. For so long, Rythix had searched for Quill after his disappearance, but so many trails went cold. Though, he had heard of some kind of commotion going on in the Valley of Dragons. He flew above the clouds, using them as cover as he scouted out the region. There seemed to be some kind of search party, but their tone of voice didn't inspire a lot of confidence in him. Find that bird? It could be Quill!
Nearby, he noticed a smaller patrol of lower level Digimon scouting the area. They seemed to rush to a nearby area upon spotting someone.
"There he is, get him!" one of them, a Monodramon shouted before they got closer.
Rythix grit his teeth and put down his visor "Honeybeemon, Armor Digivolve to..." he dove down in the middle of his Digivolution, the data blending in with the clouds as he swooped in above the pursuers "Mothmon...!" his wings fluttered as a sparkling dust swept around the area "Gauss Powder...!"
The surprise attack caught the enemy off guard and soon they were flailing around in a panic due to the burning powder. Some of the unlucky ones who couldn't fly stumbled off of the side of the cliff. Deep down, Rythix hoped they would be okay even with the fall, but his friend's safety came first. He flew close to Quill and stared down the Monodramon who was desperately trying to stop the burning, rolling around in the dust. The digimon raised its hands up after it alleviated the burns "I-I'll leave you guys alone, I swear!" he said before scrambling away.
Rythix looked over at Quill and flew around him happily "...Quill...! Have to leave...more will come..."

So, this is where it all ended, and in a sense, began again. Skye the Gatomon had always been somewhat drawn to the Valley of Dragons, even in her new life.
It all began since her rebirth on the Avalon Fields in Luminas. Yes, things had been easy there, then when she had evolved to Rookie and entered Luminas proper, there was always a part of her old life that had got caught in the cogwheels of that city. A part of her that belonged on the world below, that made her reject the life of the lofty city and attempt to seek a new life on the world below.
Her first attempt had been somewhat contrasting, as she had landed in Fragment Village in the Dark Area. However, as she rejected the ideals of Luminas and covered herself with a grey cloak of neutrality, she had survived. And even found a friend there - a Chuumon named Hickory.
Then when she had finally escaped the Dark Area and made it to the mainland, settling down in a civilization there, she was soon "hired" by a Shoutmon that was apparently an ex-king who needed a "knight". Skye had been skeptical about this, but his payment had been real, so she allowed that arrangement, only to find out that ex-king Jorge's story was true, he did have a kingdom, but it had long since drowned in the sea. Through their sorrows, the three of them bonded, becoming a somewhat mismatched trio of misfit digimon.
And so, on their adventures, they headed to the Valley of Dragons. Namely because Jorge, a Shoutmon, was a dragon, and wanted to see it for himself. So Skye consented and led the group out there. The journey was long, hot and tough (a metaphor that made Jorge and Hickory snicker and Skye roll her eyes), but they made it eventually.
"Well, here it is then" Skye said as they arrived. She struggled to hide the feelings that burst forth at seeing this place again. Namely... the last battle of the 7/71st as they were sworn to the DWR. Neither Jorge nor Hickory would know, but she did. And remembering it all... Skye found it a little difficult to cope with all the memories rushing back. It wasn't the main event that hurt her the most, it was the minor details. Look left, "Reinforce it with a light machine gun emplacement". Look right, "aim the mortars at that pass". It hurt a little to have these sights align with her fragmented memories.
"Skye, what's that noise?" Hickory eventually asked, the Chuumon riding on her shoulder as usual. Skye listened for it, then her blue eyes widened. There was a battle nearby.
"Combat, let's move out" she said quickly, then rushed toward its source.
"Hope you know what you're doing, Skye" Jorge said, running along beside her, conjuring his microphone staff. Skye acknowledged that with a nod, then proceeded forward as her training lessons returned to her.
As she reached the site of battle, she held back for a moment to take in what was going on. Then at once, she recognized what was going on. "Rythix?!" she breathed, eyes wide. He was alive?! After all this time?! And then she heard him speak another name. "Quill?!" she held her paws to her mouth. They... they were both here?!
"You know them, Skye?" Hickory asked, curiously. The Gatomon nodded, her surprise fading from her face, being replaced with determination.
"Get ready, boys, we're helping them out of this" she said, her normal stoic, professional voice replaced with a decisive growl. Rythix and Quill. She remembered them. While she was no longer 1st Lieutenant, she would still help them as though she was. Then the trio approached through the canyon, determined to help their comrades.

Before Quill had a real chance to catch his breath, he was spotted by a Monodramon, who alerted the others to his presence. He was still a bit shaken from the escape attempt, so he was a bit slow to ready himself for a fight.
However, before the worst happened, an honest to goodness miracle occurred. The Monodramon was attacked with a strange powder that seemed to burn it. The intimidating dragon turned tail and ran, but they were not completely out of danger just yet. A small squad of three Airdramon were circling overhead, and it probably wouldn't be long until they spotted Quill and his savior. The Monodramon's attacker, a Mothmon, fluttered down to Quill and seemed overjoyed to see the Hawkmon. The tone of the insect's voice gave his identity away instantly, and a grin quickly formed on Quill's beak. "You have no idea how happy I am to be seeing you, my friend," he said with a sigh of relief. Seeing Rythix again after so long, wondering if he was okay, did wonders for Quill's mental and emotional health in the moment.

Rythix looked positively ecstatic over Quill's safety and stuck close to him. The escape wasn't going to be easy, but if they worked together they should be able to get out of here just fine. Still, the amount of enemies that were nearby made him tense up. He was only an Armor Champion...facing off against those was going to be tricky.
However, backup arrived in the form of Skye and her friends. He looked a little scared, not recognizing Skye at all, but it seemed like they were here to help, so he calmed down a little bit. He got lucky that the Gauss Powder was so effective on clearing out the scouts, but he wasn't sure if he'd be able to do much to anything stronger. He wasn't even a Champion, and there were three of them circling above "...C-Can I...can I do this...? I don't know..." he muttered as he stepped back against the wall.
There were more important things to worry about than his own insecurities though. They had to stick together and come up with some kind of plan, or just brute force their way out. He looked over his surroundings, wondering if anything could be used against the enemy. Unstable rock formations? Cliffs? Perilous paths to fly through and lose them? Anything at all could be helpful knowledge and somehow he knew that. Regardless of what happened, he couldn't just sit back and do nothing. They needed everyone's help, including his own, so he steeled himself and readied for whatever was to come.

Skye noticed them as they approached. Three Airdramon were circling overhead. It was at this moment she frowned, remembering that none of them had the ability to fly. They were capable of projectile attacks to be sure, but in her experience, fighting flying digimon were better at dealing with air attacks than relying on anti-air fire. Still, she had to try.
Before combat began, they approached their comrades. "Rythix! Quill!" she called out to them. "You boys alright? You're not hurt?!"
She instantly assumed a protective demeanor. Last she had seen them was when she had been 1st Lieutenant, fighting and dying at the Battle of the Valley for the 7/71st. Now she was no longer so, but still hoped to protect these two from harm. "Jorge, get ready to shoot them down if they get near" she told the Shoutmon ex-king.
"R-roger..." Jorge replied, nervously, not being in combat like this before, but struggled to remain brave. That's what kings did after all, if they lost their nerve, the battle was lost. He'd stand ready to protect them with his mic staff if it came to it. Skye then approached with Hickory.
"Oh yeah, these two are my friends, Hickory and Jorge" she told them. "And don't worry, guys, we're here now, we can drive them off together, I promise". How could she do anything other than that? There was no place to run or hide from flying enemies. Unless of course they could escape underground, but she doubted that luxury was open to them here.
For now, she would stand with her comrades, ready to do battle.

Quill was so focused on the enemies above that he didn't notice the presence of three more Digimon until the Gatomon among them was already addressing him. He whipped around to see someone he never thought he'd see in a million lifetimes. "Skye?!" he squawked, losing his composure completely for a moment. Was it truly her? And who were these Digimon by her side? While he was lost in thought, Quill was taken by surprise yet again as two more Digimon discovered their location. This time, the enemies were two Strikedramon. As they spotted the small squad of Digimon that were gathering, they gave out a loud roar, alerting the searching Airdramon to their presence. In an instant, the scenario was playing out in Quill's mind, and it wasn't pleasant. He wasn't sure on everyone else's combat capabilities, but everyone except for maybe Skye seemed to be below the Champion level. Therefore, taking on five Champion level Digimon seemed absolutely insurmountable. However, a plan began to take shape in the Hawkmon's mind. It all hinged on one inconsistent detail, but it seemed to be Quill's only option based on the information he held. In a quick gust of wind, Quill took off into the air to meet the trio of Airdramon head-on. As he shot through the air, he focused his data the best he could and exploded into a ball of light. "Hawkmon Digivolve to...Aquilamon!"The struggle of the past six months had made Quill stronger than ever before, and he was finally ready to show off his new Champion form to his friends. As he neared the approaching Airdramon at a speed quicker than any he had previously traveled, he opened his beak up wide and let out a strange sound. "Wave Laser!"The sound waves coming from Quill were visible to the human eye, and seemed to have an adverse effect on the Airdramon. All three of them seemed disoriented and incapable of movement for the time being. "I'll do what I can in the air!" Quill shouted down to his comrades on the ground. "If you lot would kindly take care of our attackers on the ground, that would be most splendid!"
The Strikedramon on the ground were originally supposed to hunt down Quill, but the new targets laid out before them were just as fresh to their most primal instincts. The pair seemed to light aflame as they charged straight at Rythix, who was closer than the rest of them.

Rythix was taken aback when this Gatomon seemed to know who they were. Quill referred to them as Skye, so maybe they were a friend from long ago? Guilt welled up within him for not being able to remember, but he set that aside for the more important thing right now. His focus sharpened and his objective clear. The Strikedramon were true Champion levels. Stronger than Rythix normally. He spoke up "...focus on one target. The sooner each one goes down...the sooner we can help Quill." he said.
He watched as Quill digivolved to go face the Airdramon. While he could also fly, both sides would be at a disadvantage. He decided to help Skye's group first. The Strikedramon singled out Rythix and charged right at him. With a single beat of his wings, he leaped above one of them "Poison Dust!" he twirled slightly, a purple dust shimmering and falling towards one of the Strikedramon. If it managed to coat them, the initial sickening feeling would settle in first and the pain would linger for some time afterwards. However, the other Strikedramon managed to slam into him. With a pained shout, Rythix flew backwards from the attack before reorienting himself in the air. He shook his head and groaned at the damage he had taken. He wasn't used to direct confrontation.
He looked over at Skye's group, then down towards the hopefully poisoned Strikedramon "...focus on that one..." he said as he tried to regain his composure. The was a hard hit, but he wouldn't go down that easily. He had to learn how to keep his attention on multiple targets.
Despite his confidence in everyone's combat capabilities he couldn't help but worry. Quill was currently up against three Airdramon. The sooner he and Skye's group could take out these Strikedramon the better. He had a plan for when they were down and out. He really wanted to catch up with Skye, but now wouldn't be an appropriate time for banter. Once they made it out of this they would be able to talk. He wanted to know what she remembered about him.
------
Rythix used Poison Dust on one of the Strikedramon! If it makes contact, it will deal damage over time for two turns.

Quill recognized her, that was something. But the time for a proper reunion would be later. The time for Skye to be an old friend would be later, for now, she would have to tap down deep into herself, to become the 1st Lieutenant she once was.
It would be hard, since she wanted to put this old life behind her, but, seeing friends in trouble like this... it wasn't within her capability to turn her back on them. She had the power to protect them, so, she had no choice but to do so.
Then, Quill digivolved to Aquilamon. Skye was relieved, alright, their power was increasing. With herself, Quill and Jorge, this was three champions against five, but Rythix and Hickory would still be vulnerable.
"Hickory, act in support" she told the Chuumon, who merely nodded, scampering away behind a rock for cover. However, he'd still be able to provide support if needed. Then Quill temporarily disoriented the Airdramon in the sky, reducing their problems down to the two Strikedramon on the ground, who both rushed at Rythix.
"No! He's just an Armor level, he doesn't have a chance against that much power!" Skye thought, rushing toward him, but too late. He managed to poison one, but the second landed a clean blow on the HoneyBeemon. Rythix valiantly tried to tell them to focus on the poisoned one, but Skye disagreed.
"Jorge, deal with the other one" Skye ordered, then stood by Rythix's side, her blue eyes almost blazing with fervour. She was glad to feel Hickory's words seem to thump against her back, cheering them on, she felt her strength increase from the words he said.
Without hesitation, her tail ring glowed, she raised her paws, which glowed with light. As the magic surrounded her, she then cried "Holy!" then launched a beam of white light straight at Strikedramon, aiming to all penetrate and smite him. If it hit, a pillar of light would burst into the sky.
Jorge meanwhile formed a fireball in the shape of a musical note in his paw, he made it grow in size, before snarling "Hard Rock Spirit!", launching it at the poisoned Strikedramon, if it hit, it would explode in an eruption of fire and light. As Jorge was also a Champion level, it would be equal to Strikedramon's strength.
Skye awaited the effects of their attacks. Whatever happened next, she would do her best to help keep them all alive.
Hickory uses "Things Can Only Get Feta" on Rythix, Skye, Jorge and Quill.
- Things can Only Get Feta: A means of Hickory to provide some cheerleading for his allies. Shouts words of encouragement that bolster their fighting spirit and increase their attack by 15% for 3 turns. [Cooldown: 3 turns]
Skye uses "◕Holy" on Strikedramon A.
◕Holy - Skye's holy ring glows pale with light. She then raises a paw, which sends a bright ray of light directly at her target, damaging them with holy energy. Deals 30% less damage to Virus Buster family digimon, but 30% more damage to Nightmare Soldiers and Dark Area family digimon. [Cooldown: 1 turn]
Jorge uses "Hard Rock Spirit" on Strikedramon B.
Hard Rock Spirit - Jorge conjures a fireball in the shape of a musical note in his hand, then hurls it at the opponent or a place nearby. The fireball explodes on impact, causing area-of-effect damage with a radius of 10 meters. [Cooldown: 1 turn]
(Skye and Jorge's attacks are increased by 15%).

The first Strikedramon was unable to avoid Rythix's Poison Dust, and instantly seemed to become sickly. Not only that, but Skye's attack bathed the dragon in a bright beam of light, damaging him even further. This all combined with the boost that Hickory's cheering seemed to give the crew, knocked the enemy right out. The second Strikedramon, however, wouldn't be so simple an opponent. Jorge's fireball found its mark, but Strikedramon was already aflame. The two blazes met in a wondrous explosion, but when the smoke cleared, their remaining enemy had changed. Something in the Digimon's data had overheated, and the result was a different creature entirely, Flarerizamon. The new Digimon roared, and a pillar of flame exploded out of it. It seemed to be a show of force, since it was too far away from Rythix and company to do much of anything, but it still sent a clear message of danger to those who would oppose it.
Quill, meanwhile, was concerned for his own safety. He had shot up into the skies with all the bravado he could muster to fight these Airdramon, but the fact remained that it was still three on one. His Wave Laser technique managed to hold them at bay while the others fought off the Strikedramon pair as quickly as they could, but it could only last so long, and then he would be in for a world of hurt. As expected, once the three dragons were free of Wave Laser, they set their sights on Quill with a devastating combination. All three Digimon shot streams of fire from their mouths right at the lone Aquilamon, who had to quickly find a way to defend himself. "Whirlwind Shield!" he shouted, flapping his wings with insane force. The instant before the flames reached him, a towering shield of wind stopped the attacks from reaching Quill. The result of fire and wind meeting with such force caused a large explosion that rocked the sky above. Quill was mostly protected by the shield, but was still sent flying back a bit. The Airdramon, however, were not so lucky. The three of them were all swallowed up by their own magnified attacks, and two of them fell to the ground, defeated. The last one, however, was not interested in continuing the fight with Quill. Instead, it decided to rush to the ground below and help Flarerizamon before Quill could get his bearings. Now enraged, the Airdramon gave a mighty roar and burst into a pillar of light. As it loomed over the other Digimon and the light faded, everyone would be able to see what it had become. Megadramon. A terrifying, Ultimate-level Digimon. At their current level, it seemed nobody could handle the current threat. A deafening roar sliced through the atmosphere as the beast eyed Rythix, Skye, Hickory and Jorge. "No!" Quill cried, rushing to help his allies. However, he was sent off-course by a swift kick to the side. As he righted himself once again, he stared down an arguably more terrifying enemy. Admittedly, Quill wasn't even sure what he was looking at, here. He had never encountered a Digimon that looked like this in any of his lifetimes. The entity just stared him down, almost begging the hawk to make a move.
BATTLE LOG Strikedramon A is struck by Rythix's Poison Dust and Skye's ◕Holy. With Hickory's Things Can Only Get Feta boost, the attacks easily defeated Strikedramon A.
Strikedramon B is struck by Jorge's Hard Rock Spirit, but only assist the flames on the Strikedramon's body. Strikedramon B slide evolves into Flarerizamon.
Quill's Wave Laser ends, and Airdramon A, B, and C are freed. Airdramon A, B, and C use God Tornado on Quill.
Quill defends with Whirlwind Shield. The resulting explosion from the meeting of fire and wind knock out Airdramon A and B, leaving an injured Airdramon C.
Airdramon C moves to assist Flarerizamon, Digivolving to Megadramon in the process.
Quill is intercepted by Cyberdramon(2010).

Rythix felt a sense of relief as one of the Strikedramon went down. Nearby he caught glimpses of a couple of the Aidramon falling defeated as well! Though...everything only got worse from there. The remaining Strikedramon had become something different. Still seemed to be a Champion level, but how different would its attack be? Then, a feeling of dread overtook Rythix as he looked up to see the remaining Airdramon digivolve into Megadramon. An Ultimate level like that attacking them? There was no way. No way he could face up against an opponent like that. He shook his head and trembled in terror. Impossible. This was impossible!
His body moved on its own, however. If he didn't do something, anything, then it really would be impossible. Flareizamon...it couldn't fly. "...Push them off the cliff." he suggested to those near him. Quill was intercepted by a mysterious Digimon, but the entire group down here needed all the advantages they could get. He flew about slightly, weaving in confusing patterns before his gun started to rev up "Armor Piercing Blaster!" he called out as high powered rounds fired out towards the metal helmet Flareizamon wore in an attempt to force them to stagger towards the cliff, slowly but surely. He nervously looked back to check on Megadramon's position and trembled at the mere sight of it. It would take everything they had to even have a chance at fighting this thing. Maybe even more than that. Normally he would be petrified, but a deep rooted trauma that never quite left him urged him to stay this time. They needed him. They needed his help.
He looked back up at the mysterious Digimon for a moment. What was that thing? Where did it come from? He had to put those thoughts aside for now. If he got too distracted, he would give the enemy an advantage he couldn't afford to let them have.

The first Strikedramon went down fast, thanks to Rythix and Skye's efforts, as well as being boosted by Hickory's support technique. But the second Strikedramon seemed to transform completely as Jorge's attack hit it, turning into a FlareRizamon. "Dammit..." Jorge muttered. "Skye, what do we do here?!""Jorge, help Rythix push FlareRizamon off the cliff" meanwhile the Gatomon turned to the newest opponent, the Cyberdramon, crossing her paws in front of her chest, focusing. Her claws glowed pink, then at once, she slashed the air, and with a cry of "Sealing Wave!" she would cast a wave of energy over the Cyberdramon, aiming to weaken him. If successful, it would reduce his next two attacks by one whole level. She knew how dangerous this was with Ultimate levels starting to show up, so she would do everything she could to minimize the threat to her allies. Jorge meanwhile gave a nod to Skye, then ran forward with his mic staff. After Rythix launched his armor-piercing attack at the FlareRizamon, he would follow up with a "Rowdy Rocker!" aiming to smash the flaming lizard in the torso. He didn't fear any fiery counter-attacks, he thought he could take it. Hickory panted, the exertion of his last technique having drained him a little. But, a distraction occurred in the sky. Above them, Quill seemed to be facing none other than a Megadramon. "Oh no..." he breathed. They were seriously getting outgunned here. And worse still, the Megadramon was aiming at them! Skye only realized this after she had cast her attack on the new combatant, the Gatomon's blue eyes widening with horror. Skye uses Sealing Wave on Cyberdramon.
Sealing Wave - Skye slashes the air, her claws glowing pink, sending a wave of energy over 1 enemy. This technique reduces the power of their next 2 attacks by 1 level (ie - Champion levels deal attacks that are Rookie level intensity). Only effective on Perfect levels or lower. [Cooldown: 2 posts after effect ends or misses].Jorge uses Rowdy Rocker on FlareRizamon, aiming to knock him off the cliff.

Hickory makes no attacks this round.

The newly-evolved Megadramon was originally moving to assist Flarerizamon, but seeing Skye aim at the unknown entity made it immediately take notice. Flarerizamon did not rank as important to him, apparently. The giant dragon flew in and intercepted the Sealing Wave, letting the energy wash over him. With a roar, his attention was now fully on Skye, who he would immediately barrage with a flurry of vacuum wave blades. Flarerizamon, meanwhile, strained against Rythix and Jorge's combined effort. The effects of Hickory's boost were still apparent, and the blazing dragon began to slip toward the edge of the cliff from the force of Rythix's shots. Before reaching the edge, however, he grabbed onto Jorge's microphone as it hit him on the head. It seemed that his goal was to take Jorge down with him! As he fell, he yanked on the mic staff, his goal being to throw the Shoutmon off-balance and off the face of the cliff. Quill stared down the unknown Digimon, still unsure what to make of it. Its features were distinctly alien in nature, and it didn't seem to speak. One thing the Aquilamon was sure of, however, was the fact that this thing was dangerous. In an instant, it was on top of the Champion level with a strike from its spear, immediately attempting a lethal blow. The wind's assistance was enough to let Quill get by with nothing more than a nasty scrape. Things were looking desperate for Quill, and he knew it. He had to push himself to his limit if he was to get out of this valley alive. As the Digimon prepared to strike once more, Quill conjured up as much of his strength as he could and gave a mighty shout. For the first time, a new power would awaken to him! "Aquilamon Super Digivolve to...Garudamon!"
Megadramon intercepts Skye's Sealing Wave and takes its effects for Cyberdramon. Megadramon attacks Skye with a flurry of wind-based projectiles. Flarerizamon is hit by Armor Piercing Blaster and Rowdy Rocker, pushing him to the edge of the cliff. Flirerizamon grabs Shoutmon's microphone staff and attempts to throw him off the cliff. Cyberdramon lunges for Quill, who dodges with the Tailwind Passive. Quill Digivolves to Garudamon.

"No!" Rythix reached out towards Jorge as he was in danger of being pulled off the cliff with Flarerizamon. Time felt like it was slowing to a standstill for Rythix. Something about this disaster was all too familiar. Things he had forgotten started to piece back together. In his unfocused state he reverted back to Honeybeemon "N-not again. Not again...not again..." he grabbed his head and cried out in anger before flying towards Jorge and Flarerizamon "Never...again! Honeybeemon! Digivolve to...!" a much more powerful surge of data emanated from him. He was digivolving to Champion! The data dispersed around him, the red figure darting through it at high speeds "Flybeemon!"
He flew and stopped perfectly between Flarerizamon and Jorge before he grabbed the microphone and calmly stated "Whip Sting." as his stinger whipped around and stabbed at Flarerizamon's shoulder on the arm it was holding on with. If it made contact and they let go, Rythix would stare down at them and say "Now, fall." before he would gave Jorge's microphone back. He confidently stepped away and stared at the rest of the opposition "Never again. You even think about laying another finger on anyone here, and believe me you'll be in for a lot more pain than you can imagine. So come at me! And I'll show you all how big of a mistake you all made today! No one harms my crew and gets away with it."
He looked at Megadramon and Cyberdramon and floated slightly above the ground, his anger almost audible from the sound of his wings buzzing. It seemed at least some of the memories were coming back to him, though unfortunately they were the more traumatic ones that he would have really rather kept forgotten. ----- Rythix reverts back to Honeybeemon before digivolving into Flybeemon! He gets between Flarerizamon and Shoutmon and attempts to get Flarerizamon to let go with a Whip Sting to the shoulder.

To Skye's dismay, the original target of her attack was blocked by a swoop from the Megadramon. Well... she supposed that was the best outcome, given that the Ultimate level was now under the effect of the seal she had just cast. Especially in that it was now targetting her.
Skye's eyes widened at the incoming flurry of wind blades. She made an attempt to avoid them, but they were so numerous and near invisible that she was struck several times by them, almost having the wind knocked out of her. Thankfully the Sealing Wave's effect reduced their power, if it had not been there, she would have been knocked out cold or even destroyed.
And because Skye was occupied with this, Jorge was momentarily on his own as FlareRizamon attempted to pull him over the cliff as well. "No! Jorge!" Hickory yelped, but the Chuumon was nowhere near strong enough to help here.
"D-damn it!" Jorge cried, his feet being dragged across the stony precipice. He could let go of his mic staff, yes, and he'd be disarmed and of little use to anyone. But, if he fell over the edge too...
Then he was saved in the nick of time by the insect digimon, Rythix, who digivolved and intervened decisively. Jorge accepted the mic staff he had recovered with a "Thanks". He was panting, it hurt to hold onto it like that. But seeing the 7/71st fighting so hard... Jorge hoped they could succeed here. There were still 2 Ultimate levels. One was being engaged in combat with Quill, who had also evolved, but the other, Megadramon... his full power was temporarily sealed, but after that...
Hearing Rythix say those words though, they rallied what was left of their courage. Jorge readied his mic staff with a glare at Megadramon - the glare of a King that intended to fight for what he cared for. "Yeah! You think you're hot shit ambushing our friends?! You're gonna be another kind of hot shit altogether when we're done with you!"
Skye by now had recovered from the attack, ready to strike back. "Less words, more attacks!" she instructed her companions. And thus, the trio struck.
"Holy!" Skye cried, her tailring shining brightly as she attempted to cast down the light spell once again on Megadramon.
"Hard Rock Spirit!" Jorge roared, conjuring a fireball in the shape of a musical note, then hurled it at Megadramon.
"Uh... take this?" Hickory offered, hurling a cheese-shaped grenade up at Megadramon, but doubted it would do anything significant to the Ultimate level.
