As the group found their way inside the circle, Adam perked up, his head turning back as he finished the last preparations of the scene. He stood back up, fully facing them. He was finally ready. " Thank you all for appearing. I'm sorry for this sight - some of you may be seeing those who were once close to you, and some you are seeing for the first time. I assure you, it is being done to ensure our safety. They may be returned afterwards." " Everyone who has gathered here, I must confess: the reason we have been hunted is because of me, of what I was. My Creator was not happy with my choice to leave, so she has hunted us." A hush fell over the crowd. Adam took a moment, even blinking a few times as he prepared his speech. “ We were created to fight! To eliminate all others, and to reside at the pinnacle of existence! But it’s a battle that would continue eternal. A cursed cycle of destruction and rebirth without end. None of us were loved. The world had no need for us. There was only one solution.” “ I would no longer seek to fight others, to eliminate them. I chose to coexist rather than rise above. I sought to stop the cycle before it became too great. And though I was not loved by the one who made me, I found love in creating all of you...and from such, I received it. I found purpose in raising life, in protecting it...” “ But that’s the reason why I must do this. As long as I am like this, I will only put you all at risk. I can’t bear to be the cause of any more deaths. You may all do as you please once I am gone. There is just one final request I have for you all: whoever I am once I am within a new body...I ask that you give me the opportunity I gave all of you. And I ask that you extend the same to the world and its people.” With his speech finished, the silence across the crowd persisted. Each machine seemed unsure of what to say - until Nadia spoke; " We will." A small phrase, but one that soon spread among the massive crowd, each one saying it with no regard to if they could be heard over anyone else or were drowning anyone else out. Adam tried to meet each one by looking at its source, but this was obviously a lost cause. Adam looked back down. " Thank you all." " Now..." He once again looked towards the group, and with one swift motion, dug his hand into his side, hardly making a sound. His hand move across his body, opening up his chest until the group could see the only thing inside; a cloudy orb with a gaseous substance swirling within, connected to a number of rubber wires. He barely even budged as he tore his chest open - either he didn't feel it, or just didn't react to it. " This is my core - the data of an entire digimon resides within it. I cannot self-terminate, and I would never ask one of my children to do it. Please, I ask that one of you do it for us. It may take some effort, but you only need to pull it out. Once you have done this, I ask that you place it within the machine by my side." He motioned towards the one lying ride under him. It was a smaller robot, with an open hatch over its chest. Though while anyone could do the deed, he did look to the flying rookie. " Rythix...I am the only one here capable of capturing, containing, and utilizing digimon data. It may not be a release of all the data we've already taken, but my new body will completely lack the same capability; we cannot, and will not, take any more. I hope this is a sufficient compromise." rythix yuuki

It... was frankly rather heartbreaking if he wasn't the one who suggest this and was one among the robots... he's an outsider... but at the same time he's the hired executioner. Hikaru was about to step in, but Yuuki stopped him before he could take another step. "...Those who hands the verdict should be the one who carries out the act, so said a wise man. Therefore I'll do it." "Yuuki, are you sure?" "You don't have the dexterity for this... not as Sangloupmon. I need an assistance though, to tell me the procedures to take this out. And anti-shock gloves would definitely help a lot." "...I see... well, as you please." Assuming that anyone gave him one, or told him that it's not necessary, he would approach Adam. Solemn Music"...I'm sure anyone else could say this better than me but... Thank you very much, for everything. I'm sorry that it has to come to this, but... I hope with this I can help you all move forward. If there is anything you want me to do, If possible I'll do my best to carry it out. This will be your last chance prior to your reincarnation after all."
Yuuki would hear what Adam would say. When he finished, he would grab the core, attempt to deattach it enough force, then transfer it to the new body.

Rythix listened as Adam gave their final speech, his words touching his heart. Born to fight, born to kill, but grew to love. Grew to know what peace was, and grew to strive for it. To him, there was nothing more respectable than the pursuit of peace regardless of the circumstances. Hearing all of the robots solemnly accept Adam's sacrifice and vow that they'll continue his legacy and teach his new self the opportunity to learn and love.
He trembled slightly and pushed down his visor to hide the tears. He stood up straight and raised his right hand in front of his head in a salute in Adam's honor. He felt there was nothing else that needed to be said. Adam was took hold of their own destiny and was willing to use it to ensure the futures of everyone around him.
He watched Yuuki step forward and prepare to transfer the cores. This was it. The big moment that would decide everything. This had to work. It would work...otherwise so many innocent lives would be lost for nothing.
Rythix did, however, smile softly and lifted his visor to speak to Adam one last time "...It is. If...there is nothing that can be done for those already absorbed, then I accept that. They live on through all of you, and now this cycle can finally end. Thank you, Adam. For everything. Everyone here will take care of you. I'm sure of it." he said. Now all that was left was for Yuuki to successfully make the transfer. He looked around at the robots gathered and the moment of silence they offered their benevolent leader. It wasn't fair for someone as good as Adam to have to do this, but they were all backed into a corner. Though for now, his rage and anger towards those responsible for this would subside. Now was not the time for anger and bitterness, but a fond farewell to this friendly stranger.

" Everything that I've desired, I've already said. I will not ask nor force you to do anything beyond this. Thank you. All of you." That was all he had to say, and afterwards, he was silent. Even as Yuuki reached for his core and grabbed it, he did nothing. Even as Yuuki pulled on the core, with the wires holding it in place snapping and shriveling back into the core itself. Even as the final wires were starting to break, he did nothing. But once the core was completely disconnected and taken out of the body, did his body finally move; with the lights of his eyes gone and his body falling down with a graceless metallic thud. A gasp rang through the crowd, albeit a quiet one, and none of the robots acted out. The group would immediately feel the oppressive aura holding them down completely disappear - if the digimon in the group wanted to evolve past champion, nothing would stop them. The orb itself in Yuuki's hand was warm, with a slight glow emanating from it. Perfectly round, perfectly smooth. The gas within swirled around, as if it were looking for something inside itself, to no avail. As the orb was placed inside the new body, what occurred was the exact reverse of what happened with Adam: as the core got closer inside, wires grew out of the orb, growing throughout the body, planting the orb within the body. Though the body didn't seem to active just yet. Yuuki would have the familiar sound of messages being received though his D-Terminal, with the source none other than 2C. >holy shit >u guys actually did it >the worst is gone >i cant believe it >y am i getting so many readings tho? >theres like hundreds of readings in there >can barely tell which is u guys >whats going on? >doubt u guys only destroyed the leader >i need pics >asap>o wait, can u take pics? >just use this 4 now if u cantImmediately afterwards, Yuuki's D-terminal would be sent a executable file named "pics4dedbots.trial". Activating it would (somehow) allow his D-terminal to take images like a smartphone camera - despite the lack of any camera on the device, it would work. The program itself made it clear that this was just a 25-hour trial version of the program, and that any attempt to copy or share it would be a punishable offense. The newer body's eyes lit up, its eyes darting around before settling on the group, It sat up, standing at about half as tall as Adam's original body. " Oh, hello there!" it said, undoubtedly with the same voice as Adam, albeit with no emotion or nuance in its voice, much like the rest of machines here. " What's going on? Where am I? Who am I?" It turned around, spotting the large number of bodies lying on the ground and the machines surrounding them. " Were we built to serve you? Do you want us to clean these up?" yuuki rythix

As expected, the message somehow immediately gone to his D-Terminal huh. Yuuki was about to send the pre-made messages but looks like it's not going to fly. He still yet clicked the link provided and instead turned his attention to new Adam. "No, you're not built to serve us... or anyone for that matter. Your life is created to be your own, therefore, grasp your happiness yourself. Grasp your reason of being by yourself. Why are you here, why are you created... please think it yourself. Of course you can ask fellow machines when you're lost, or someone else for that matter...
Miss Nadia, I think you're one of the best candidate to be a guide for the new generation... but this is just an opinion of an outsider. I'll have to take some photos for our client... Once this is over, we'll be done from this, and hopefully all of you can live in peace. Excuse me."
Should the perimeter is cleaned from robots enough for him to take picture, Yuuki would take pictures of the scene, mostly just showing scenes of the "battlefield", and sent it along with simple message of 'Mission Complete'. He unfortunately doesn't care about what the other two left behind would do. He had enough for the day.
"...Well, that's done. Rythix, our mission here is clear. Unless there are something else that 2C want from us, I think we're good."

Rythix smiled at the new Adam and approached him. "You're your own person. Your name is Adam, or whatever you wish to call yourself...what you do is up to you, but for now it's time for you and your friends to head out into the world. Nadia here will help you understand everything you need to know." he said, gesturing towards her. "Go, be free, and see the world as you see fit with this community you're a part of."
He wondered what was going to happen next. With the robots still powered and alive, how would they escape her sight for long? He approached Nadia and said something in a whisper to her "Do you all have a plan on how you're going to go on from here? Aren't you worried that without the signal jammer she'll just be able to find you again?" He was genuinely worried for their well-being going forward. "I...I believe in all of you. I'm sure you'll find something out, but keep a low profile for a bit, alright?"
He walked back to Yuuki and sighed, relaxing a bit "It seems so...we may have had our differences, but it seems like everything's going to be okay for now. Mission accomplished...hopefully. This has been...a very stressful assignment." he said with a dry chuckle. "Still, I'm...v-very thankful to have worked alongside everyone. This couldn't have been done alone." he said.
Now all that was left to do was wait for things to proceed and hope their little ruse worked out like they hoped it would. Rythix just wanted to go home and make himself something nice to eat.

The machines were quick to realize what Yuuki was doing, clearing the way so his pictures would hide the fact the group hadn't actually done their whole job. >wow. tore it right out >thats metal asf
>so its finally over >good >good >ill send u the rewards now >should reach u pretty soon >ill throw in the bonus too >doesnt matter if u found out how they make more >cant make more if there r no more creators left >:headtap:
>oh wait, ur d-terminal probs cant read emojis >just forget about that
>well, not like ill b talking 2 u guys againAnd with that, the group would very shortly be notified of the bits being deposited. Not that it mattered at all to the very confused robot standing before them. " So...I wasn't made for any specific purpose? I was created just to exist? That is illogical. And if that were the case...why would I be named Adam?" Nadia approached the small machine, patting him on the head. " Adam was who you once were. But now, you are no longer Adam. You were born from him, and you're free to become whatever you choose to." " But if I am not Adam, then who am I?" " Well...according to some literature, Adam was the first human created. When he desired companionship, a single bone was taken by his body, and it was used to create Eve." " Eve...I like that name. I'll go with that. Now, how may I help?" " For now, you may help us return the dead to where they were once laid. Afterwards, we can show you around." Nadia nodded as the machines broke their encirclement - some went off to do their own things, others (including Eve) helped move the bodies back to where they were originally being stored. In very little time, Nadia was the only machine standing there. " Thank you all. It will take some time to adjust, but I think we can manage - we were planning on negotiating trade with nearby cities once we have everything settled. I will trust in Adam's judgement that this is the safest path for us...though you needn't worry about us protecting ourselves. Adam's field wasn't the only way we could protect ourselves, and it's unlikely any unsavory visitors would just happen to find us here." " But know that you all are always welcome here." And with that, she too left the group, to assume her own duties. " If any of you have trouble finding the way out, I can lead you all there." A very familiar voice, coming from a very familiar pair of extended eye stalks watching the group. " It's a big place. I wouldn't want any Homosapiemons getting lost here."

Rythix watched as Nadia, the newly named Eve, and the other robots said the farewells to this little group he was a part of. It was actually over. 2C was placated and the robots were allowed to go free. No Digimon would ever fall victim to this tragic scenario ever again. Was anyone ever really 100% at fault? Was his blind idealism towards being lawful actually doing more harm than good? He...was conflicted.
He turned to Yuuki and Hikaru "I...I apologize for my behavior earlier. I g-guess I wasn't really thinking clearly. I'll leave this whole 2C business alone...they're happy and...well, I don't want to risk hurting that. Whatever happens to 2C...we'll just leave that up to her, I suppose." he said. "It was nice working with you. I've learned a lot today." he smiled at them genuinely.
When it was time to go, the very first robot they met offered to guide them out. "O-oh, please do. I think it's time we went home anyway...lead the way!" he said. And thus this long adventure was at an end. A new group set out to the Digital World with optimistic outlooks, and he was a part of that experience. This was something he wouldn't soon forget.

And with that the contact is severed. That was rather nervewracking. He should have acted better... he's the leader of KIZNA after all. Seriously...
"No, this won't be possible if not for the inherent goodness of you all. Your peaceful way has made me think that none of this worth it. Please continue your life as usual, Miss Nadia, and may the rest found their own reason of existence. I'll visit from time to time. If any of you guys still have any technology that we can learn from, it'll be great if we can count on you then."
He soon walked toward the exit but soon found himself face on with the gate. Yuuki laughed out loud about the 'Homosapienmon'. "Sorry about that. We lied to you. I'm a species called human... well, you can ask the rest to Miss Nadia, yes? Don't worry about that I have something to exit myself."
Still, Rythix's apology was met with a shake of head from Hikaru. "No need, at least you understand that at times chasing ideals is not the best way. I'm sorry for my outburst of anger and challenging tone too. However, I found that it is the best way to address everything. Well, I'm sure that your leader will be proud of you. It's OK to be truthful to yourself, it's OK to be idealistic, but remember to know when to hit the brake, yes? Would you like us to open you a gate to outside, perhaps? Terminus? Rosewood?"
Either way, it's time to head out. Yuuki took one of the stone that Adam showed him before.
"...Two more," he muttered.
