It wouldn’t be an easy trip going up. First of all, Kazuya and Royland would have to find a building they could enter. Their only hope was what seemed to be an abandoned residential building, where the frontal door had no lock. The whole structure was deserted. The sound of the duo’s steps going up the metallic stairs would echo throughout the whole place. Maybe it was the prompt of the situation, but the staircases would feel too long. Almost infinite.
Finally, they would get to a red-colored door. After opening it, they would have reached the roof. From so high up above, the sky had an even darker tone. It was even hard to see beyond their own eyes. Having no street lights to illuminate their way, the darkness was a lot more overwhelming than before. Just some seconds in this environment could really upset the duo. It was sort of… enervating.
A figure would definitely raise the duo’s attention. It was hard to actually decry the shape it bestowed, due to the distance and the obscurity of the whole scenario. With some effort, they would be able to tell it was around three or four building’s away, on top of its own roof. Around him, only certain shocks of what seemed to be crimson-red electricity would burst every once in a while. Other than that, it didn’t seem as if this creature was doing anything else. The figure was just… standing there. Was it because of the distance or because this creature was just ignoring the pair, it didn’t give any kind of response to Royland’s questions.
Something was for sure. That sensation that had been going through the Spadamon’s body all along came from this digimon. The gap between each roof seemed rather dangerous and impossible to jump across for a human. Would Kazuya and Royland look for the way to approximate this creature or they would keep their distance?
