Falzure's grin split almost ear to ear and she'd simply give a small shake of her head. She knew how it could be to eat that sort of stuff regularly and how it wasn't for everyone. She was more being teasing than anything about it.
"Most of the ones around in this area are really relaxed you know? But that's cause my dad has a lot of rules and stuff. Which after a while just sort of bleeds into how things work in his territory."
Falzure gave a small shrug and returned the grin that vulin gave her rather cheerfully. She would rub at her neck somewhat with a wing and pause as Vulin asked why they wanted to go into other peoples' territories. There was a long pause and she'd sigh.
"Space is always an issue and as time moves on there's more and more of us. The dragons in the south have the least amount of area to their own and always are looking to expand one way or another. And the kids are the ones that usually take it into their own hands and do stupid things like it. I won't lie, me and some of my siblings watched you come in because we thought you might be some of those kids but that was proved to be wrong almost immediately. You weren't trying to be sneaky and you seemed pretty friendly from the get go!"
Falzure gave the both of them a small smile trotting along; she talked about space but being as big as she was she needed her own space to really do anything. At mention of the whole moving out thing she'd close her eyes and sigh softly.
"It's been a topic for a while now. Ever since the last of my clutch left actually. I... If I went out into the world I wouldn't know what to do with myself. But finding a turf outside of the dragon valley sounds good, could even get people to rest around there. Get a trade post or something like around here. Maybe. Hmm..."
Falzure's smile and somewhat cheerful tone returned at the mention of the dragons in the northern region. Some more of that molten rock would drool down and she'd have to wipe her face again seeming somewhat bemused.
"They're icy dragons, water dragons, mostly just dragons that can deal with the more cold temps. They are like really close to where it starts getting into the frozen north I think?.... Oh Sovereigns that was horrid."
She'd snicker loudly and clack her teeth in amusing, her scales even popping a little bit at it. She'd tilt her head lightly once he replied in such an earnest way. It wasn't a surprise, he seemed to like the idea of being able to rough-house.
"...Well I'm not going to use any of my attacks I don't want to hurt you you know? But he's a super patient parent so!"
She was still nervous about this whole thing, though she seemed to be managing a shy somewhat earnest smile. The explanation wasn't lost on the other two and she'd roll her shoulders a little bit.
"Mark stuff of places you've been, tell a story of places you'll go. It's a big world right? People might like it and might even find you guys in the future. Could lead to some cool friends."
After her little display of heat and fire the larger dragon could feel her faces heat. It was much higher than normal and she couldn't help it, she was around dragons that weren't her siblings and they were new! Not to mention interested in things she had to say or wanted to do as well as even going for things she didn't really know.
"to be fair my body is constantly putting out heat. so much so it's why I have a different area to myself!"
There was a small bit of laughter at that and she'd jerk her head at the two to follow her. She was still smiling and it wouldn't be long until they got to the edge of the nursery itself.
Once at the nurseries edge it was obvious that this place was well taken care of. The edges of it were clearly marked, safety lines made of strung together rock of re-enforced metal wiring seemed to keep the children in or at least the smaller ones. The pens of each grouping of children were well marked. Many places that looked safe, some caves leading into what could be described as small homes for some of the more bipedal dragons. This place wasn't just a nursery it was a small bustling town of young digimon!
There was dozens of kids of different ages sitting about, playing or just napping. Most of them were in trains and fresh, with the later clutches of kids being in rookies. They seemed largely interested in the two that arrived, flaring nostrils and perked ears of those that had them along with dozens of eyes...
Though this quickly ended as a deep rumbling voice, one that spoke of ages long past. Ages to come and a future that no one could expect made itself known. Many of the kids either went back to what they were doing or shifted in their sleep. It would take maybe fifteen or twenty odd seconds for a head to rise up, even as it was talking. The massive eyes of the Volcanicdramon locked onto the newcomers. His body pulling itself out of the crevice that he was laying even as he seemed to to still be talking in a halting way.
"So these are the ones... that the other children told me about. Falzure... who are your.... Visitors here?"
"This is Vulin and Fennel! They're just traveling through our territory but I thought it'd be a good idea to have them meet you."
The large molten eyes and the dripping magma that came from the mouth of the larger dragon splashed gently onto the floor. He'd shift to sort of wipe it up with a large winged claw looking somewhat irritated at his own negligence.
"Most that travel... through our territories come to deposit eggs into it. But you do not possess.... such a treasure of life. You have your own still in the future.... My daughter Falzure knows this... but yet still she brought strangers to our nest... Were you from the south.... I'd be forced to send you back to your parents... with a slap on the wing..."
He'd exhale softly, a large burst of heat coming off of him. He'd gently shake himself and a few large scales fell off of him. The larger dragon seemed to be... molting his scales?
"But... you're not here to hurt... not here to be stupid... So our nest is open to you young ones... Take the time you need; rest. Eat. Talk. Falzure brought you here... she can also show you out when you want to leave... The rules here are very simple. Don't steal. Don't kill. Don't break the eggs... Are we clear Vulin? Fennel?"
"Father I... wanted to ask if it was okay to show them some of the ruins?"
The larger dragon paused and a few of the younger digimon seemed to wince at the audacity of their older sister. He'd consider it for a long time, seemingly thinking it through. He'd look to the two and simply tilt his head. He seemed to consider something for a few long moments before actually speaking again.
"...Were you me... would you let your daughter go to a dangerous place...? I think I know the answer already... but that doesn't change mine. Unless... what we talked about earlier comes to fruition Falzure."
Falzure visibly flinched and nervously fidgeted seeming uncertain. Her father let out a rolling sigh and simply laid his head down sort of staring at the three. He was certainly relaxed and even went so far to scratching at one of his loose scales. Pulling it off with a grunt after a few long moments.
"Show them your chess pieces, the caves. The ruins... I care little what you do my little mountain... Even if I said no... you'd still go there and show them those ruins. Just be... careful this time, the guardians are very agitated... Some foolish children from the west came through to explore... Upset some marker I'd think..."

The twins nodded in regards to the locals in this area tending to be more relaxed, with Falzure's father and his rules. That made sense - people following the authority and it just becoming the norm. It sounded like her father was nice though, so it wasn't really all that concerning of a concept to either of them - even if Fennel wasn't sure what to make of Falzure's family, at least not yet.
Nonetheless, the duo listened curiously about why these kids were being bold like this, trying to push into other territories. Vulin couldn't help but frown a little over the notion of space being an issue - he couldn't help but wonder how someone could help give the other local dragons the space they need or want, and pondered if maybe there were places outside the valley that might be suitable for anyone feeling a little crowded, or if they couldn't find a spot to the north - as cold as it may be. As far as the siblings' thoughts of the two went though, Vulin smiled brightly, mentioning "Well... I'm glad you guys trust us, then!"
Fennel shared similar sentiments regarding the issues of space - but was more focused upon the notion that Falzure's siblings had been watching them. He couldn't help but silently peer up to the rocky cliffs, wondering when he might've overlooked them by mistake; he was the more aware of the two, and he supposed to be keeping an eye out to keep them both out of trouble! If he couldn't spot even the smallest digimon in the area, then what might happen if that digimon turned out to be a threat to them...? The notion bothered the Monodramon; and he couldn't help a small frown, before they moved on to the topic of Falzure's problems over moving out.
Vulin, personally, thought that finding a place outside of the valley to hang out sounded like a good idea. "Yeah! Maybe find a nice rocky place out there to make a den, and start from there?" He'd suggest, adding "You can always visit your dad, and offer a helping hand, afterwards; like how we'll visit ElDoradimon if we ever cross paths with the city, while we're out and about!" The odds of such were likely a bit low - ElDoradimon was surprisingly elusive sometimes, for such a large city! But Fennel felt he had a decent idea of where to look, at the very least.
The two couldn't help but laugh with Falzure at Vulin's terrible pun, though; Vulin giggling loudly and Fennel snickering more subtlely, but amusement was still quite apparent from the duo. "Sounds like it gets maybe a bit cold for our tastes, up north." Vulin mentioned; "Fennel doesn't really like the cold, and I noticed it gets kind of tiring for me to keep my fire up and going, when it gets too cold - I gotta bundle up to keep it all inside!"
"No attacks is fine, though; we can just wrestle a little." Vulin agreed happily, in regards to Falzure's boundaries on their roughhousing - adding "I won't use my attacks either, it's not fun if either of us get hurt! And it'll probably make Fennel as fussy as Saya or Jess if one of us gets hurt, too."
At the suggestion to mark places they've been through though, and to tell a story, Vulin couldn't help but pause to think it over. It actually... Seemed like a pretty good idea! And a fun one, too - imagine all the friends they could make from leaving markers around! "Yeah, that's actually a good idea!" Vulin would chirp. Fennel, though, found it perhaps a little more iffy - "Though who knows what kind of attention that might attract?" He'd murmur, just barely audible enough. Vulin would pause a bit to think over Fennel's response - though would glance over to his twin. "I mean... If we're big enough to carry around and leave behind markers like Falzure's dad, we could be big enough to protect ourselves, too!" Fennel couldn't really argue against that, if he was honest - though he was still a little skeptical.
Still though, with Falzure's laughter, they'd chuckle and giggle with as they began to near the nursery, following close behind their large friend....
---
As they reached the Nursery proper, the two twins would be quite awed at the size of the place; as well as the number of digimon who were housed here. It seemed that they sorely underestimated just how big this place must've been - no wonder Falzure was worried about whether her father would need a hand with all of these kids or not; it was a whole town's worth of kids!
Not to mention, all of those kids seemed quite interested in the newcomer twins... Fennel almost instantly registered the perked ears, sniffing noses, and eyes locked on the both of them - it sent alarm signals up the Monodramon's spine, even if he was otherwise keeping his cool. Vulin, on the other hand, was similarly curious about the children - sniffing the air and peering to all the different digimon who were hanging around here, and waving to them in a friendly fashion. Though, a deep rumbling voice would quickly snap the two twins to attention, just as the other kids would return to their previous activities.
They'd stare ahead, at the Volcanicdramon that would pull himself up as he and Falzure spoke to eachother - with the latter's introduction, Vulin would be the first to speak up, chirping "I-It's nice to meet you, sir!" It seemed that the little Vorvomon was a little intimidated, even if he was still as friendly and respectful as ever; the Volcanicdramon could probably eat them in a single bite if he wanted! But all the same, he seemed calm and wise - like the elders of the city - and so Vulin didn't necessarily feel endangered or anything, just... Falzure might've been big, but her father was BIG!
Surprisingly though; whereas Vulin was intimidated, Fennel was quiet, curious, intrigued at the older digimon. What stories could such an ancient beast tell, the Monodramon wondered - what kind of knowledge might he share? Certainly, Fennel recognized the potential danger of such a large Digimon - though he didn't feel quite so intimidated or overwhelmed as Vulin did. Perhaps a strange contradiction in Fennel's nature - or perhaps the little digimon's interest in learning outweighing his cautious tendencies.
Either way though, with the Volcanicdramon laying out the rules, the twins would both nod. "Of course, sir!" Vulin would politely respond, Fennel adding in "We understand, sir." in a more calmer - but still respectful - response. Even if Fennel was suspicious of people, he had no ill will towards anyone - and Vulin wouldn't even bring himself to hurt a fly if he could help it!
At the notion of the guardians in the ruins being agitated though, because of children going through it - Fennel grew a hair uncertain of whether they should go thru. He'd glance to Vulin, then Falzure, asking "Should we skip the ruins, then...?" Vulin seemed confident though, mentioning "I mean, there's three of us - I'm sure as long as we're careful, we'll be fine!" Fennel made an unconvinced sound, a sharp 'hrmm..' - but he wouldn't argue further, simply looking to Falzure for her call on it. He was perfectly content just learning some chess, and letting Vulin get some of that excess energy out wrestling Falzure - the concept of wandering into some potentially dangerous ruins, even those on the safer side, left him feeling a hair unsure, though.

Falzure blinked a little bit and felt a little bead of lava drip down the back of her head. It wasn't so much trust on this case as it was her taking a chance, this could of ended a thousand different ways if they had been any other group of dragons. She didn't like having to scare people off, not in the slightest. It was so much better in this area to talk stuff out; as fighting would bring the ire of her father and she didn't want that.
"Well we did just meet, but I suppose it's less trust and more... faiiiith? Maybe? Or trust? Trust and faith? Hmm. Maybe both. That sounds better haha."
Falzure couldn't help but pause, tilting her head at the idea of her making a den out of the dragon valley. She'd have to have people to help her protect such a thing. She was just a rookie after all, not that strong on their own. Most of her family members that had left were at least rookie sure but the few that left as champion probably survived longer.
"I'll... really have to think about it!"
Falzure's smile shifted a little bit and she'd grow thoughtful. She hadn't really been to the more northern areas. She always met those dragons closer to the nest when they dropped off their eggs. Maybe someday she'd go up there when her fire burned hotter.
"That's good I don't... well. I don't know how well attacks of ours would work against each other in the first place? I mean we're both the same kind of dragon so you'd think we'd be immune to it or something!"
Falzure turned her head to Fennel as he seemed to think the suggestion about the markers was a bad idea given he voiced a concern about it. Falzure had to think about it for a moment or two.
"It might attract good attention? It might even bring people to you you never would of thought you'd meet otherwise. I mean what would of happened to the both of you if you decided to go more south outside of our territory?"
Falzure gave a small shrug and seemed to agree with Vulin in terms of them being strong enough to protect one another.
"Likewise... It has been a very long time since I've seen cousins of mine from outside of the dragon valley. Where did you two come from? With you two understand the rules we won't have any problems."
Falzure's father shifted a bit, seeming quite irate about the fact he was molting his scales with company present but he had to keep himself clean and needed to make sure that he was healthy. He'd snort lightly and gesture with his split tail at Vulin.
"Vulin was it? This one seems to show a little more sense than my Daughter."
"F-father..."
"Merely teasing my little mountain."
"I think the three of us should be fine if we go, I think at the very least we should see what has them all agitated. and if it proves to be too dangerous we can just leave."
Falzure's father gave a mighty shrug shifting his body so that he was more in a 'standing' position. His eyes seemed to scan around for a moment before shifting to slide himself down into the crevice he had come out of.
"You're welcome to join us when dinner comes around, some of the older clutch children are far better cooks than you'd expect."
Falzure seemed to relax a little bit and would return the look that Fennel gave to her with one that spoke of confidence. She believed they would after all be fine, sure she didn't know about the warnings or the strange tongue that was on the walls. Or what the guardians technically were... but that hardly mattered she felt!
"I'll show you where the chess pieces are, we can wrestle and then head over to the ruins! Or... do the ruins first and do the other stuff later."

Vulin hummed; he wasn't entirely sure of the subtleties between trust and faith, at least not in this context. As far as he cared, they were both pretty similar, right? They both more or less boiled down to Falzure being willing to hear them out, and trusting that they didn't have bad intentions in the first place, which - in the end... "... Either works for me!" He'd chirp either way, chuckling gently with Falzure, adding in a casual fashion "They both are pretty similar words in the end, anyways - and you still were willing to hear us out instead of chase us off!" It seemed Vulin wasn't quite as book-smart as Fennel - though it wasn't as though he was necessarily wrong, at least at the bit about hearing them out.
As far as them sparring went though, Vulin couldn't help but think it over as well, at the mention of their attacks working against each other or not. "Oh, yeah; I guess that's true, too!" He'd chirp, humming and tilting his head to himself. "I am pretty sturdy, and my scales hold up to heat pretty well, so I guess that I'd hold up to you pretty well, too!" Fennel would nod his agreement to this - "I imagine it'd be a match of strength or stamina at that point." He'd muse - mostly to himself.
Fennel was still skeptical over whether the markers would be worth much, though. "I don't know if there's such thing as good attention if it's from a stranger." He'd state dryly, peering over to Falzure "You can't tell who's a friend or foe from just a glance - not when we can change our shapes at least semi-freely. You don't know if we're able to digivolve or not."
Vulin would frown to Fennel, before glancing to Falzure, mentioning softly to her "Sorry, he uh... Takes a bit to warm up to new people. He's just looking out for me, like I look out for him, is all." He looked a little sheepish at his twin's attitude and behavior - and wanted to make it clear to Falzure that Fennel's attitude wasn't out of any ill will or anything, just... Fennel didn't trust easily is all.
------
"We come from the wandering city on ElDoradimon!" Vulin chirped eagerly in response to the large Volcanicdramon's inquiry, reaching over to gently tug on Fennel's cloak - the emblem clearly emblazoned on the back of said cloak - to show Falzure's father, adding "We hopped off at the edge of the flatlands, and made our way out here to explore!"
With the Volcanicdramon's teasing though, Vulin would grow sheepish, gently scratching the back of his neck with a shy chuckle; his tailtip twitching the slightest bit. Fennel couldn't help but lightly join in the teasing - "Your sense tends to go as far as finding someone to make friends and play with, Vulin." He'd lightly mention, giving Vulin a noogie, to which the Vorvomon laughed and batted Fennel with a wing.
As Vulin would manage to pull away from Fennel, still lightly laughing, he'd perk up a little at the mention of the ruins, and seeing what had the Guardians agitated. "Yeah! If there's kids checking around there agitating the guardians too, maybe we should be there to make sure noone gets hurt?" He'd suggest to the other two - a hue of concern apparent for these possible youngsters running around in the ruins.
Fennel, though, seemed appreciative of the offer to dinner - it'd certainly solve the question of food for the night. Sure, they had supplies and rations with them, but it'd only last them so long before they'd need to gather more. He'd nod to Falzure's father, mentioning "We'd appreciate it, sir - thank you." with a small bow of his head. Vulin seemed to be in agreement, chirping "We'd love to get to know everyone here, too! So many other kids to befriend- a bunch of them look our age, too, Fennel!"
At the question of order though, Fennel was a little split. They've been doing a bunch of walking - his feet and legs were certainly starting to ache a bit. But Vulin was right to be at least a little concerned, in his opinion - albeit that meant that Vulin was raring to go instead of wait and rest. "We should probably make sure everything's alright down at the ruins," Vulin mentioned - though Fennel would counter "We should rest a minute though, before we go running someplace dangerous." He'd glance to Falzure for her input - adding "We've already been walking for awhile now, anyways."

Faith.
Trust.
To many those would seem two of the same sorts of words, but to falzure they held a different meaning. Faith was the reason her mother left, trust was the fact that she'd come back some day. Both of them hurt when she really thought about them. Her smile faltered a bit and there was an awkward long pause before she actually spoke.
"Well if I didn't hear you guys out and just attacked you that'd make me no better than the southern dragons. I wish I knew why they were so aggressive."
At the mention of how it'd end up being just a match of strength and endurance falzure couldn't help but blink. In terms of strength she was fairly sure she was stronger at least physically than Vulin but when it came to stamina she bet that he took that cake. It'd be an interesting wrestling to be sure.
"That's true I spose.... It doesn't hurt to be careful but at the same time how can you live without taking some risks? But I understand where you're coming from."
Oh the irony of that statement. The chick that never left the nest telling the hawk about danger. There wasn't really much left to address at this point and that nest was basically in front of them!
"Ah yes, I've seen that mon... wander past our doorstep many a time. If he passed by the flatlands... then he must only be a few hours away..."
The Volcanicdramon blasted a gout of steam out from his nostrils and couldn't help but sigh. More teasing was to be had and his eyes would rest on his daughter who was largerly silent as they spoke to him. There was a creasing frown on his face and he'd slowly turn his head to look at Vulin.
"No child of mine other than falzure goes into those ruins... They heed the warnings etched in stone. If there are children there, they could be from the west. Or ones we don't yet know about..."
The large dragon snorted a bit and simply dipped his head in a large nod. He figured they would be hungry later and simply made a gesture to around the nest.
"Then return here... falzure knows the time and you'll be... hanging out? Oh the little ones will love you that's for sure..."
A deep rumbling laugh and the father would finish sliding back into the crevice he had come out of. Falzure blinked a bit and turned her head to the other two. That would make sense if they rested a bit, well maybe they could rest at what amounted to her little turf. There was a lot more room there!
"Well if you're up for a short trip we could just hop over to where my uh... 'nest' is I guess. Got some food there and some stuff you could use to relax. I could even carry your brother if you want so you could fly with me?"

It didn't seem like Vulin missed Falzure's momentary pause and faltering smile - he'd grow a bit concerned, and would gently nudge her. "Hey, uhm... Is... everything okay, Falzure?" Vulin would ask - adding "If I said something wrong, I'm sorry, I'm not really as book-smart as Fennel is... More complicated words just kinda fly over my head a lot..." He felt like maybe it was that he had thought the two words were pretty similar, that Falzure seemed off-put - it certainly was what happened right before her expression changed like that... But now she seemed sad again, and he wanted to make sure everything was okay!
As far as the mention of the aggressive southern dragons went though, Fennel hummed. "I suppose it could have to do with how they grew up; it sounds like things are pretty rough down south, so they might've learned to be rough, too, to get by..." It was perhaps a little ironic that he was saying such - given the more negative facets to his nature, and how he was raised, but that wasn't something Falzure would likely be aware of, nor would it likely come up - given that it was his deep dislike for humans.
In regards to the wrestling, and Falzure's response to such, though - Vulin hummed, but nodded. "Yeah! And I mean... Even if I lose, I'll still have had fun playing around with you!" He'd respond, adding "And I'm sure Fennel will enjoy playing chess with you n stuff, regardless of who wins! He likes stuff that makes him think a whole lot." Fennel quietly nodded his confirmation - though he was a little unsure in regards to risks, even if he kept that to himself.
----------------
Vulin nodded in response to the Volcanicdramon's remarks about the ruins - "Yeah! If there's other kids from the west that agitated the guardians, we should check the ruins out to make sure they're okay!" He'd respond, already looking raring to go and help. Even if they were strangers, Vulin believed in doing good, and in trusting in the good in others! Fennel would sigh - he supposed this was something he wasn't going to be able to turn Vulin away from...
Nonetheless, the duo would watch as the father returned to his rest in the crevice, before glancing back towards Falzure; though Fennel was tempted to respond to the father, it sounded like that had been the end of the conversation. So instead, with Falzure's offer to either stop by the nest, or to fly out to the ruins together - Fennel would mention "Stopping by your nest for a minute to rest before we head out sounds good, thank you." with a small nod.
Vulin would make a small noise, fidgeting; it seemed that even if Vulin was maybe a little tuckered out from their trekking around, that he was still wanting to go check the ruins out NOW! - though this wasn't something Fennel would budge on easily. It was better that they be feeling 100% before they go someplace even a little more dangerous than the usual fare, he believed.

"...It's nothing either of you did. Don't... Don't worry."
Falzure would manage a small smile and just try to brush past the topic in it's entirity. Out of everyone here she was the only one other than her father that remembered that once there had been two dragons running the nest after all!
"It's possible, I don't know. They're super protective of their borders and have constant patrols there. Ours is super lax by comparison but there's a good reason for that."
The Vorvomon gave the both of them another shrug, mulling over the topic a bit. She did want to go there some day, it had some of the better volcanic spots in her opinion but most of the dragons from there were much like herself! But different breeds and all that.
"Well I look forward to it. I don't get to really play chess with many people and well... I don't rough-house all too often so! It'll be nice."
Falzure blinked a bit when Vulin addressed the fact they would be checking in on the western dragons. She'd quietly consider what sort of benift that would have other than just being nice. There was a huge amount of reasons she could think of like ulterier motives and the like but... She didn't think either of them were the sort to have those at least.
"Well, we still should uh... be careful with them. The western dragons might be flightless but what they lack in mobility they make up with sheer tenacity. If it uh... boils down to them trying to fight us."
Falzure finished that out rather lameley. She'd tilt her head a little bit and then just lower herself down so that Fennel could climb on. It was a very short flight for her of course. So it'd be a short flight for them obviously!
"It's a short flight so it'll be all right. I have some good snacks too, so that should help out."
Falzure's grin returned and she seemed a little more chipper now that they were past the topic of her leaving the nest or her father being around. She was... well nervous around him sometimes and that much could be obvious.
"I'm pretty sure I could carry both of you actually... if you're tired too Vulin?"

Vulin seemed unconvinced at Falzure's reassurance - something seemed to be bothering her! He'd open his mouth, as though to speak, though Fennel would gently place a hand on Vulin's shoulder to stop him. "... It's not our place to pry, if this is something personal to her." He'd quietly murmur to Vulin - not wanting Falzure to overhear and be put on the spot - and though the young Vorvomon still seemed uncertain... He'd trust in his brother's judgement, and would let the topic be, simply falling quiet and nodding to Falzure instead.
-------
So the western dragons were flightless, like Fennel? Vulin made a curious hum at this - and Fennel, too, seemed a bit intrigued over this. What kind of dragons might they meet, out there in the ruins...? "I mean, if we approach them like friends, I'm sure it'll be fine!" Vulin would respond to Falzure's caution, over being careful with them. "And if it does turn into a fight, I can take a hit pretty well; so I guess I'm pretty tenacious too, yeah?" He'd add with some thought, before chuckling a bit to himself - grinning over to Falzure.
At the offer to get on Falzure's back though, Fennel would think for a second - wondering how far off Falzure's nest must be - before accepting it, climbing onto her back. He'd gently grip at the spikes along her back to be able to hang on during the flight - nodding with an "I'm ready," once he was settled.
Vulin, though, had energy to spare - or at least he felt like he did. "I'll be fine, but thank you!" He'd chirp to Falzure - regardless of his actual state - stretching out his wings in preparation for flight. "You sure you're not going to exhaust yourself by the time we get there, Vulin?" Fennel would ask the Vorvomon skeptically - to which Vulin would nod, repeating "It's okay, Fennel! I'll be fine!"
Fennel would blink, before sighing - well, he supposed if Vulin was right, then they'd be fine - and if not, that Vulin would learn to be better about conserving his energy.
