The RedMagnamon had the human cornered, and with all the other Digimon preoccupied with one thing or another, he knew that this human was just his for the taking. However, clearly Leith struck a nerve when he brought up happy moments from the past, because for some reason Omni stopped dead in his tracks, groaning and clenching onto his head. Something was definitely wrong, as he then began to... talk to himself?
"You.. you stay away from them!" "Stay out of this! You don't exist anymore!" "Like hell I don't!" "I'm in control now! This body was mine before, you stay out!"
"He... he's having a mental breakdown," Adrian gasped. "I knew it..." It wasn't long before Omni's murderous self took back control, however, and continued to pursuit Leith. At that point however, both Plesiomon and MegaSeadramon digivolved, to Magnadramon and Examon respectively. Omni's focus shifted to the two newly mega-evolved Digimon, giving Leith a chance to run.
When Magnadramon announced his attack, Omni shielded himself with his arm to prepare for some kind of blast. However... nothing happened. The way he shielded himself covered his eyes, so he was not affected with guilt at all. Omni smirked and fired a Magna Blast right at Magnadramon with that same arm he used to shield himself... however, by sheer luck it completely missed, so Omni followed it up with a Magma Punch straight to Magnadramon's gut.
Meanwhile, Examon was focused on giving Bootmon a hand in fighting Alphamon. He managed to get the knight's attention before using his eyesight attack. Alphamon chuckled lightly before tensing up, his whole body suddenly in a world of pain, essentially forcing him to kneel down and surrender, being apprehended by Bootmon. Why was Alphamon smiling?
Before anyone could even guess why, Rebecca suddenly shouted, "EXAMON, LOOK OUT!" If he wasn't quick enough, Examon would suddenly be stabbed right through the middle by the very same Crusadermon that Rebecca had tricked before entering the deck.
All while the card was left unguarded. RedMagnamon does not look right into Magnadramon's eyes, so he is not affected by "Arbiter's Dictum" Alphamon did look into Examon's eyes, so he was affected by "Punisher's Sentence" for one post, suffering great pain.
RedMagnamon shoots a "Magma Blast" at Magnadramon, which misses, so it is followed up by "Magma Punch" Crusadermon attempts to stab Examon right through his middle.

The internal conflict wasn't lost on Leith, but it just filled him with more questions. Could RedMagnamon come back? Could Omni come back after that and present a further threat? In any case, the most immediate answer to the problem seemed pretty clear: get Tranquility. Maybe he could talk about a contingency plan if there ended up being a contingency. Magnadramon got hit. So what? He was still clad in hard rock armor. The armor around his midsection fractured on impact and fell away, but Magnadramon hardly even flinched. He hardly felt it. There was still the pain of the earlier impact, but the effect of Stand Together was Examon sharing strength him and keeping him fueled. Examon was still completely fresh, too, because he was not fooled by Crusadermon's sneak attack thanks to Rebecca.
It didn't matter that Examon didn't know from where an attack was coming. All that really mattered was that he knew it was. He instinctively knew his own abilities, and by extension he knew which to use in answer to an attack. Examon's wings in an instant turned from organic to metal, at which point their giant span wrapped themselves around both himself and Rebecca, since for all he knew the attack was for her. He couldn't see it. Luckily, he didn't have to. Thanks to this maneuver, Crusadermon's blade could only bounce harmlessly off the metal wall in front of it with a clang. The defense was so perfect, in fact, that it preserved all the momentum of the attack and even might have bounced the blade right back at its wielder if Crusadermon wasn't careful. "Thanks... Wolf."
"...Didn't hurt." Magnadramon growled. Suddenly, Magnadramon was cloaked in a sort of purple aura much larger than himself that resembled a dragon more western than eastern in origin. When he roared, several more, smaller dragons made of the same aura appeared from behind him to fly or charge at Magnadramon. They all bit around his arms, legs, and tail and refused to let go. They were operating under a nonverbal command to not only deal pain but restrain movement as much as they could. "Go, Leith!"
Leith successfully picked up the card Tranquility. This was it. "Adrian! Talk to me!" Leith called as he started trying to run it back toward Adrian's toppled cage to hand it over if he could make it. Magnadramon was hit by Magma Punch. -Armor Of Earth reduced the damage dramatically. -Getting hit added one stack of Twin dragon's Rage to Examon.
Examon avoided and reflected Crusadermon's stab by using Mirror Wing. -Mirror Wing: In response to an attack, this digimon uses its huge metallic wings to cover no more than himself and one ally in them completely. This hardened wing cocoon reflects an opposing ability with all its original power and effects while sparing those inside. In the case of a once-per-thread opposing ability or a super mega ability , this ability halves its damage and reflects the other half. Cooldown: 3 posts.
-This ability's damage is boosted by Twin Dragon's Rage. -This ability's damage, accuracy, and speed are boosted by Impeccable Luck.
Magnadramon attacked Omni with Dragon's Spirit. -This ability's damage is boosted by Impeccable Luck.
-Dragon’s Spirit: This digimon becomes shrouded in an aura that looks like the specter of a western dragon. He then roars, which summons an attacking force of several slightly smaller spectral dragons to bite and scratch and tear at the opponent to deal damage.
Examon, Magnadramon, and Bootmon all benefit from Impeccable Luck. -Impeccable Luck (passive): Magnadramon seems to have some mystical power to bring good luck to himself and whoever he favors. This digimon gains 10% damage, accuracy, and speed. When up to two allies are within a 200-foot radius, the boost is divided between them and Magnadramon equally.
Both twins are using Stand Together. -Stand Together (passive): These two twin digimon have grown so close that they practically feel each other's pain. For this reason he and his twin's endurance are shared rather than separate. This means he will not fall unless his twin falls, but it also means he shares damage equally with his twin.
Examon has one stack of Twin Dragon's Rage. -Twin Dragon’s Rage (passive): This digimon’s damage is increased by 10%. Each time this digimon’s twin is hit by a damaging attack, this digimon gains one stack of Twin Dragon’s Rage. No more than four stacks may accumulate, and each stack wears off after four posts.

Rebecca was completely relieved when Examon not only managed to dodge Crusadermon's attack, but also cared enough to use his Mirror Wing move to shield himself and Rebecca as well. She was touched that he tried to protect her like that, even though she was not his partner. Crusadermon's blade had clashed with the metal so hard that, yes, it did indeed bounce off the wall and hit them right in the head.
"Ow! Mah blade hos attocked me! You..." Clearly, Crusadermon was not happy and just continued hammering away at Examon's metal wings with very little success. This persistence caused Rebecca to sweatdrop.
"Are they seriously still trying to break through?" Rebecca asked. "God, what an absolute moron. And thank you, Examon... for protecting me like that. It was very sweet of you to do so."
"Oh will you stop with that, you imbecile?" Bootmon came up and asked, clearly referring to the Crusademon before using the last of his Cutlass of Cold to push the mega leveled knight away, having them slide a few feet away from Bootmon.. In response, Crusadermon attempted to use their blade right at Bootmon as a counter attack, but Bootmon was a fast thinker. "Ice Bootup!" Before Crusadermon could strike, Bootmon shot at the knight with two ice beams coming out of either hand, properly freezing him right in place. It wouldn't be long before he broke free, however.
Yet at that time, Alphamon had sadly recovered from his seething pain and agony, standing up triumphantly. He swung his sword and stabbed it right through Bootmon. And since it was a Mega move against an Ultimate level, the damage was multiplied to the point where Bootmon broke off and became Agumon and Gabumon again, both of whom fell to the ground, defeated.
"No..." Rebecca cried, seeing her Digimon fall. "Not again... come on, guys! Get up! PLEASE!" To Alphamon, these rookies were no longer a threat. Now he just stared right at Examon, as that was seemingly his next target.
Omni did not know what to expect next from the Magnadramon, but it certainly wasn't what he was thinking at all. After taunting that Omni's attack didn't hurt, he was going to perform another attack before noticing the purple aura that now surrounded the Magnadramon. Before he knew it, the aura broke off into several smaller dragons which held Omni in place, the perfect diversion for when Leith got the card and gave it to Adrian.
"He has the card!? IMPOSSIBLE!"
"This ends NOW, Omni!" Adrian confidently yelled as he slashed the card using his D-Arc. "DIGI-MODIFY! Tranquility activate!"
"NO!" Omni screamed in defeat before an aura of energy exploded from around him, dissolving the small aura dragons and pushing everyone else away slightly. From there, two flame auras emerged from the RedMagnamon: one a bright red and the other a dark blue. The dark blue flame looked rather sickly compared to the red flame.
The red flame began speaking. "It's over, Omni. You had your chance at life, and you wasted it by becoming a genocidal maniac. Not all humans are what you make of them."
The blue flame breathed heavily, clearly losing its spirit. "Just you wait. The humans will find a way to purge our kind. You cannot trust them."
"The same can be said about us. No two humans are alike, and the same goes for Digimon as well. Face it... it's OVER!"
"Hahaha... You really think so, do you? You're just an immature musician who knows NOTHING about how anything works! You're just an act to fill this core's shoes until I made my return! YOU CANNOT STOP ME!"
"WATCH ME!" The red flame immediately clashed with the blue flame, completely eliminating the latter. Afterwards, the red flame disappeared as well, leaving only the RedMagnamon. After a few seconds, he rose up, staring right at Adrian.
Did... did it work?
The RedMagnamon approached Adrian's cage... and tore it open, allowing Adrian to just simply walk out. "Hey there, kid."

It was a good thing Bootmon immobilized Crusadermon, because Examon couldn't keep that wing shield up forever. Rebecca got a nod of acknowledgement but nothing more than that, as the job was still unfinished. Examon stood back up tall when his move's duration expired and turned to look at his trapped foe. Despite the glare coming at him, he showed no worry. "I've had enough of you! You, and your kind, and your boss, and all your like-minded scum are all dead!" Examon held his empty hand out toward the trapped knight, and on his mental command replicas of his lance appeared in mid-air all around the enemy. It started with one but doubled to two, four, eight, sixteen... one hundred. One hundred lances all pointing at the knight. "I'm not going to kill you." He seemed to contradict himself when one flick of his hand commanded each of the lances to start scratching and slashing the knight with their tips. "You've already killed yourself." Again, on his command, each lance stopped but instead took simultaneous aim at one specific section of his Crusadermon's body: his digicore. "I'm only here to deliver that message."
When Examon closed his fists, one hundred and one lances from all directions moved in to try and spear Crusadermon straight through his digicore. The 101st was the one Examon held in his armed hand. "Sorry, knight! This time the dragon wins!"
Magnadramon did not let RedMagnamon so easily approach Adrian. After liberating the boy, Magnadramon tried to plow straight into the (hopefully) last mega digimon standing, hoping to knock him back and put distance between the Tamer and partner. Maybe his armor fell away just before impact, but that was no little hit. "You stay back! Adrian, Leith, get to cover." Maybe that was an impressive display of the good in RedMagnamon overcoming the evil, but Magnadramon was not yet convinced. Leith decided to take his advice and run away from those two if only because he believed Magnadramon, in his fury, may wrongly judge Omni still present and continue battle. He didn't try and strike though... yet. Oh, shit, whoa, Examon actually attacked Crusadermon with Supreme Judgement. -This ability's damage was boosted by one stack of Twin Dragon's Rage. -This ability's damage was boosted by Impeccable Luck. Magnadramon attacked RedMagnamon with a shoulder charge. He looks pissed.

Crusadermon could feel his stomach flipping in circles as Examon approached the ice-encased knight. For once, the dragon had the upper hand against the knight. He extended his empty hand, and a bunch of lances suddenly appeared. They multiplied by two each time until a hundred of them surrounded Crusadermon. The Digimon in question was now fearing for his life. Rebecca's eyes widened as she heard what Examon said next. "Examon, don't-"
It was too late. Before she could finish, all of those lance copies pierced straight through Crusadermon's digicore, including Examon's real lance. Crusadermon screamed in pain as he then exploded into data, and with his core THAT damaged, resurrection was out of the question.
Rebecca was in shock. She... was she seeing this right? "Examon, how... how COULD you?! There was no need for that!"
"And that is exactly why we do what we do," Alphamon growled, approaching the group. "Our village was invaded by a group of humans. It was a village of mainly rookies, and ninety percent of them were slain. The only reason we didn't all perish was due to my boss's Digivolution. Without our interference, all Digimon will eventually die, or suffer a fate worse than death."
"You're BOTH in the wrong! Outright death is NOT the answer! What kind of twisted thinking do you have to come to a conclusion like THAT?!"
"I'd say that you'll see, but I'm afraid you're not going to live long enough to do so," Alphamon threatened as he raised his sword, preparing to outright kill Rebecca, Agumon and Gabumon in one swipe.
RedMagnamon's reunion with Adrian was cut short when Magnadramon charged right into him, throwing him right into the wall. The red Mega coughed as he got up, but did not try to kill Magnadramon like he did in the past. Instead, he devolved a level... to Ultimate. "You may not believe me, but Omni is no more. There is just... me. And right now, we need to make sure that the humans on this ship get off of it alive. Do you trust me?" Crusadermon has been deleted for good.
RedMagnamon devolved into OmniShoutmon. If he were wanting to fight, he would not do this.

"You're welcome, little girl!" was all that Examon had to say to Rebecca, the impudent little brat angry at her for neutralizing one of three apparent threats. Oh, well. He didn't have time for an ethical debate. He did the right thing, and he knew it. "Even digimon aren't immortal, Alphamon. You live a million years and you're bound to fall off a cliff eventually." As Alphamon raised his sword Examon, though tired and breathing hard, smirked. "Not that you'll have that problem." That was because he knew what was about to happen.
At first, Magnadramon was only worried about Leith and Adrian's safety from Omni. Even an ultimate level digimon could still harm or kill humans with one finger. However, there was even another human in danger as Alphamon raised his sword. Magnadramon had to act. This time when Magnadramon shoved OmniShoutmon, it wasn't to knock him back but to get the golden digimon out of the dragon's way. That cleared the way for Alphamon to be the unimpeded target, hopefully, of the blue dragon's rage. Examon thrust his lance forward and attempted to block the sword from coming down with it. "Now!"
"Supreme Judgement!" Magnadramon jumped and took a vertical sort of spread-eagle position in mid-air, but he did not fall back down after that. A bright white light would shine off him and fall down on Alphamon. If it worked, Alphamon would be almost blinded, able to see only the silhouette of the dragon that looked more like an angel in the air. That view would come to be blocked by a projection of Alphamon's life for him to watch himself from a third-person view. It started the very day he hatched from an egg and showed him every single time he did something the slightest bit immoral as well as that decision's consequences... all the way until it caught up in the present. Alphamon at this point would maybe start to notice steam coming off his body, the heat of the light increasing to an unbearable temperature, possibly even enough to completely incinerate the digimon. Hopefully the combination of physical and psychological torture would put Alphamon down. Whether he lived or died after that was not Magnadramon's business.
The sight made Leith want to shuffle behind OmniShoutmon. "I'll trust you as long as you stand in front," he whimpered. Examon attempted to block Alphamon's attack by holding his lance under the sword.
Magnadramon attacked Alphamon with Supreme Judgement. -This ability's damage, accuracy, and speed are boosted by Impeccable Luck. -This ability's damage is boosted by one stack of Twin Dragon's Rage.
-Supreme Judgement: All light disappears from the environment save a single light from above that shines on the opposing digimon. For some moments, a target’s life quite literally flashes before their eyes as a fast-moving projection in front of them. When the projection catches up with the present, the light’s heat becomes physically unbearable and agonizing as it starts to burn, as do a target’s feelings of self-hatred and despair, a punishment for all wrongs large and small committed over the course of the target’s existence. This deals massive damage in one post. Limit: Once per thread.
Examon and Magnadramon benefit from Impeccable Luck.
Examon and Magnadramon each have one stack of Twin Dragon's Rage.

Even though she was about to be smite by this giant black knight, Rebecca stared at the Digimon right in the eyes. "If you truly believe that what you're right about this, then do it. However, striking me down will prove that you're not the better person at all. It is your choice."
"You humans make me sick," Alphamon growled as he swung his sword right down onto Rebecca. The two barely conscious Agumon and Gabumon watched in horror as their Tamer was about to be killed right then and there by Alphamon. Rebecca flinched as the sword came down onto her... but for some reason, there was no pain. She opened her eyes and saw how Examon's lance was blocking Alphamon's sword. "MOVE OUT OF THE WAY, RUNT, BEFORE I-" And Alphamon never got to finish that sentence, as he was suddenly blinded by a super huge light.
From there, Alphamon did see his life flash before his eyes. He saw Elecmon as he hatched in Primary Village... he saw himself as a little Dorumon just moving into Frontier Village.. meeting a nice Shoutmon named Omni, who would end up being one of his best friends. He also saw the burning of his village, the humans that stormed in and destroyed everything. He saw the leader of this genocide group...
He remembered what the humans called him.
"Z..." Alphamon growled as his body began steaming, taking several steps back. "It's that damned human they call Z! It was all his fault!!!" Alphamon kept screaming this as his body began to disintegrate, turning into nothing but scorched data.
That was it... the knights were defeated. The human in the glass orb watched with a mix of terror and relief from the fight that he had just witnessed. Adrian stepped out of his opened cage and asked... "Is... is it over?"
"All the knights are gone," Rebecca said. "And their leader... their leader is back to his normal self. I can't believe what just happened..." Rebecca then fell to the ground, tired from the ordeal that just occurred. "The twins and I have to train harder. After they fell, I was nothing more than a damsel in distress."
"R-Rebecca..." Gabumon said, raising his head up. "Don't say that. You're much more than just something to save."
"Yeah, sure... come on, we better- WHOA!" She screamed as the ship suddenly made a downward movement, completely destroying the balance of everyone on board at that moment. "What's happening!?"
"That doesn't matter right now," OmniShoutmon says, "we need to make sure that the humans on board get off safely! We need to-" OmniShoutmon was cut off as an ice blast arrow collided with him, making him frozen solid completely.
"SHOUTMON! That attack... it's can't be!" Adrian turned around towards the control area and his fear was confirmed: Dianamon was back up. And she looked PISSED.
"You... destroyed... EVERYTHING!" She spat out, losing her cool entirely. "I caused this ship to go downwards, and destroyed the control panel! Everyone on this ship is going to die! If the boss, my friends and I are going down, YOU'RE ALL COMING WITH ME!!!"
"She's absolutely lost it! Examon, Magnadramon, do you still have energy to fight?!"

What did Magnadramon feel as he incinerated Alphamon? Physically, nothing at all besides the effort it took out of him. Mentally... complete satisfaction and, at last, relaxation.
"Let's just say I know the feeling, Becka," was Leith's way of sympathizing with Rebecca without disagreeing with her.
Magnadramon's relaxation couldn't last. OmniShoutmon got attacked from the back. Apparently, everyone had turned their backs on her mistakenly. "Motherfucker!"
"No!" Both digimon bared their teeth at Dianamon, Examon spreading his wings wide across Rebecca and company while Magnadramon stood before Leith and Adrian, both baring their teeth. Apparently, Dianamon was on a suicide mission. The problem with that was the digimon didn't seem to have the energy left to fight, Leith thought, and that a fight might take too long to evac so many anyway, especially when the only safe way off this bucket was by air.
"We're not fighting. We're running!" Leith summoned another card to his hand then, flipped in the air once, and slashed it. "Digi-Modify: Omeka Guise!" Suddenly, Examon was covered in a cardboard suit that slightly resembled a series of awful Dianamon drawings. However, this wasn't just a distraction tactic; this card let Examon use one of Dianamon's moves right back against her. He knew which was the right one, too; Examon pointed his lance at Dianamon and shouted it. "Crescent Harken!" Out from his lance, then, Dianamon's own mind-controlling beam should have shot right back at her. There was no time to stand around after that, though.
"Guys, devolve to fire digimon!" They did. They knew where Leith was going as he commanded them to become armor ultimate digimon, Salamandermon and Flamedramon. They also knew that the speed of a low-ranked card's implementation left time for both digimon to use another of their abilities. "Blazing Barrage" Flamedramon ran to the glass dome and started pounding it with a series of hand-to-hand strikes. "I'm here to help!" he promised the human, who hopefully had seen enough to be convinced. That was his attempt to liberate the hostage.
"Heat Wave!" Salamandermon just exhaled, but the air he exhaled was so hot that it could be seen shimmering like silver. His target was OmniShoutmon, trying to defrost him.
If that all worked, Leith would grab Adrian by his wrist and try to drag him away, urging, "Come on! We gotta find the other humans and jump! Rebecca, you too!" Then shout to the free human, "If you wanna live, you stay with us!"
Leith used Omeka Guise on Examon. -ME-26 Card Name: Omeka Guise Type: Modify Rank: Silver Duration: 3 Posts Effect: The target Digimon is surrounded by a cardboard suit of their opponent, similar to that of Omekamon. They are able to use one of the opponent's moves as if it were their own. ME-25
Examon attacked Dianamon with Arrow Of Artemis using Crescent Harken. -Crescent Harken: (I don't know the fucking description)
Examon devolved one stage to Armor Ultimate Salamandermon. Magnadramon devolved one stage to Armor Ultimate Flamedramon. Flamedramon attacked the glass dome with Blazing Barrage. -Blazing Barrage: This digimon heats up his gauntlets and helmet to extremely high temperatures before unleashing a rapid flurry of hand-to-hand strikes. Half this attack's damage is fire damage due to the heat while the other half is physical damage from the impacts and slashes. This attack's total damage is about 150% this digimon's normal damage. Cooldown: 1 post.
Salamdandermon attacked the ice around OmniShoutmon with Heat Wave. -Heat Wave: This digimon opens its mouth and exhales, which heats up the air in front of him extremely hot in a conical shape. Digimon in the path of the attack suffer heat-based damage.
Blazing Barrage must cool down: 1 post remaining.

This was bad. This was REALLY REALLY bad! The airship is on a one-way trip straight to the ground, Dianamon had her sights set on the group, and the Digimon were either completely tired or completely frozen in ice. "What's with all the standing around for? Can't face the reality that you've DOOMED YOURSELVES?"
"Leith, you're the only one who can do something right now," Rebecca said worryingly. Thankfully, he did do something. He used his D-Arc and powered up Examon, who was now able to use his opponent's attack. He shot a mind-controlling attack right at Dianamon, "Crescent Harken," which would basically make the target attack and potentially kill themselves. Dianamon was sadly not able to dodge this...
"AAAAAAAAAUUUUUUGGHHH!!!" Dianamon screamed, pealing at her own digital flesh and doing all sorts of gruesome things to herself until, eventually, she damaged herself too much and she exploded into data. As she did this, the devolved Flamedramon (and potentially Salamandermon, if he wasn't hit by the attack) succeeded at melting the ice surrounding OmniShoutmon.
"Cold.... oh, oh so cold..." OmniShoutmon said as he shivered. He was NOT a fan of the cold.
"Leith is right, we need to go now. We need to meet up with the other humans and then we need to JUMP!" After that, Adrian helped the now freed human up while Rebecca put her Digimon in the V-Pet, and the group just booked it out of there.
In the hallways, it was pure chaos. Gladimons were running around rampant and freaking out as the lights flashed and the alarm sounds burst everyone's eardrums. The group would run down the main hallway when they would run across Rey again, only this time with a younger little girl by her side. "You survived?! Is RedMagnamon dead?"
"Uh... yes, yes he is," Rebecca half-truthed. "Look, something happened, and now the ship is going to crash. Where are the other humans?"
"They all escaped. There was a room full of escape pods, so they should be fine. But there aren't any more, so how are we going to escape?"
"We're going to jump."
"OH HELL NO! We don't even have parachutes!"
"Reyrey, are we going to die?" The little girl asked with tears running down her face.
"No no, Mitsu, we'll be just fine. I promise..." Rey replied, hugging her little sister close. She looked right at the group with uncertainty and anger in her eyes. "You better know what you're doing. Lead the way."
Eventually, the group finally made it to the entrance where they first arrived... although now it felt like it was at a slight slope. Still, it provided a decent jumping point. Adrian and OmniShoutmon stepped up front.
"Okay! We jump on three! One... two... THREE!"
And so they jumped off of the falling ship...

"Oh, my god..." Leith couldn't watch Dianamon quite literally tear herself apart to death, even if that was the most just and efficient way for her to go. So, he didn't watch. Her screams and other sounds carried the message. Leith couldn't keep up with Flamedramon and Salamandermon on his own, but Flamedramon dragged him with one hand to help him keep up. Those claws scratched and dug into his skin, but it sure beat being left behind! Salamandermon led the way, trying to sweep and tackle Gladimon out of the group's way, but it seemed most of them were very happy to stay away.
Rey reported a zero-body count- well, a four-body count including the enemies. That was a load off of the trio's mind. "Omni's gone, now go!" he urged both to avoid the details and to, you know, get off the fallen ship. "Look, we can do this! Magnadramon and Examon are both big enough to carry us all if-" Too late. "Motherfucker!"
"I'll get them! Go!" Flamedramon didn't hesitate to jump, though part of his reasoning might be that he knew he had time to devolve further, hoping to use a large avian form to dive faster than the terminal velocity of the others and slow their fall by grabbing them. Otherwise... well, that better be one soft ground. That meant Leith was stuck riding with...
Gulp!
"Let's go, 'fraidy-cat!" Knowing Leith was never going to jump on his own, Salamandermon saved his life by grabbing him with a forepaw and throwing the both of them off.
"Salamandermon, I swear to fuck-!" The digimon was already Sonoramon before Leith finished his string of many, many curses, some of which were extremely creative and would make even a sailor whimper. Flamedramon devolved one stage to Champion ExVeemon and attempted to catch the other fallers.Salamandermon devolved one stage to Champion Sonoramon and is lowering Leith slowly and safely... ish.

General screaming was pretty much the only noise that was heard as the group jumped out of the falling ship. Rey held her little sister tightly the whole time as they fell, both screaming of course, and the other human that was there constantly flailed his arms and legs as he fell.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAUGH! WE'RE GONNA DIE!!!"
"NO, WE'RE NOT," Rebecca yelled in his direction as she, the sisters and the human were all caught by ExVeemon successfully, with Adrian riding a flying OmniShoutmon. "You know... I think we should avoid jumping out of airships in general from now on. Just, no more falling."
"Agreed..."
And thus, the flying group watched as the huge red airship fell right to the surface, thankfully far away enough from the city to not cause much damage. However, that ship still landed right into the Tokyo Bay, where it created a large explosion right into the sea, disappearing into data but still making the explosion loud enough for the whole ward to hear. All those Gladimon on the ship most likely met the same fate as the knights...
"Holy shit, it's all over... right, Adrian?" Rebecca asked as she turned towards OmniShoutmon's direction... only, they weren't there. "Adrian?"
"I think your friend just abandoned you," Rey blatantly said. "For what reason, I have no damn clue."
"Maybe they were scared? Because I'm scared too..."
Oh god, I hope you two don't beat yourselves up over this... Rebecca thought, before turning to Leith and Salamandermon. "Come on, we're done here. Let's get the humans back onto the surface before someone shows up. That explosion was deafening..."

"You people are all insane!" Leith cried as Sonoramon held him in his giant paws securely but not comfortably. He and ExVeemon both hovered low above the water until they could gently lower their humans down onto a dock overlooking the bay. "Adrian! Mother- you're welcome, dipshit!" Apparently the pair who had gone and started the whole mess went and flew the coup, not even staying long enough to ensure the safety of the liberated! Both Sonoramon and ExVeemon by this point were panting hard, but on Rebecca's suggestion they both dropped their respective people down to ground before themselves collapsing. Both digimon would shrink yet again after attempting to surface the innocent. "Guys?"
"That's it... I'm done," Shoutmon gasped, laying on his back on the ground.
"We hit our limit, Leith," Veemon confirmed, trying to stay steady but needing to lean on Leith to do it.
"You, uh.. you hit an entirely new limit, actually." Leith used one hand to keep the blue drake close and secure like he knew would be done for him. The other was stuck holding the man himself up, coughing and breathing hard from his own exhaustion. "We're talking about that later. You guys OK? Rey, other girl, other guy... don't mind the talking dragons too much. Mine are friendly." Leith glanced at Shoutmon and corrected himself. "One of mine's friendly."
Shoutmon's answer was a hand gesture held high that both westerners and easterners would recognize as highly obscene.
Sonoramon devolved to Shoutmon, too weak to hold a higher form.ExVeemon devolved to Veemon, too weak to hold a higher form.

Rebecca and the other humans held on until they were close enough to the surface of a dock that overlooked the Tokyo Bay. As soon as they were on the ground, ExVeemon and Sonoramon were too exhausted and reverted back to their rookie forms. The battle was finally over...
"You guys are heroes today, you know," Rebecca looked over at Leith and the two dragon Digimon. "I'm assuming Adrian told you guys to stay away as well, right? Well, thanks to you, lives were spared."
"I know that we got off on the wrong foot, but I truly am thankful for you guys," Rey told Leith and Rebecca. "You guys stopped those monsters, and now no one else is going to be hurt for them. Plus, White Wolf, your wolf friend was a wonder at helping me find Mitsu. Mitsu, what do you say?"
"Thank you for saving us," The little nine year old said, still sort of hiding behind her older sister. The other human... he ended up taking off, not able to handle the situation.
"Hey... the police isn't going to find out about this, right? Or the government?" Rebecca turned to the others, curious. "Because that was one hell of an explosion, and those people are going to start talking."
"I'm sure it'll be fine, White Wolf. Anyways, we have to go. It's going to be a hell of a story that we were taken and saved by monsters."
"You can't say anything about this to anyone. For one, people will think you've lost your mind, and two, the secret of Digimon must be kept. Do you swear to never tell anyone?"
"Are you kidding me? Hundreds of humans were taken by these things that NO ONE would have thought could possibly exist! The world needs to know about this!"
"If the world finds out about them, that'll do nothing but cause panic and worry. Nothing good can come from a panic. Do you promise to not tell?"
Rey struggled to make an argument, but eventually she realized that Rebecca was right and sighed. "We promise."
"Alright, good... Leith, make sure you try and call Adrian later. He's gonna be... pretty upset. I think your reassurance will go a long way."
And with that, a saga has ended. The reign of RedMagnamon has ended, and his loyal knights are all but dead. Surely, this would be the end of their troubles, right? Well, when one story ends, a new one begins... Somewhere in downtown Shibuya, inside a giant office building with the letter Z on it, a female secretary had just entered her boss' office room, approaching his desk. She was holding a laptop in her hands, holding viable information for her boss.
"Zaan-san," the secretary said, opening up the laptop for her boss to see, "we have recently confirmed reports that Airship Red-012 has gone offline. It must correlate with that explosion from earlier."
The man sitting at the desk smirked, his dark black hair blowing from the wind of his fan. "So even the mighty RedMagnamon was no match for these so-called Tamers, hm?"
"What should we do now? Should we proceed with the plan?"
"First we'll sit and wait... we must gather strength and see what plays out. But mark my words... some day, they will be exterminated, just... like... this," As the man concluded, he snapped his fingers. End scene.

"I always wanted to be a hero. I'm starting to think it's overrated," Leith groaned in response to the compliment. "Rey... you're handling this a lot better under a lot worse circumstances than I did, I gotta say. Real and honest props to that. But, uh, yeah, talk and you're dead. You can't imagine what would happen if this shit got out, and frankly neither could I. That means-" Leith looked to Veemon and Shoutmon. "We need to get our asses back to Quantum before all hell breaks loose!" Finally, Shoutmon sat up. Apparently, even he recognized the urgency of that imperative. Leith struggled to his feet, too. "Rebecca, keep those guys out of trouble... and handcuffs. Maybe they're smart enough to lay low already, and that's why they ran."
"Let's be smart ourselves, then!"
"How are we going to find the portal again?"
"Agh... fuck. OK, we'll take the subway, I guess. It's gotta be faster than trying to walk. Lucky you, you guys don't have to do the walking." On that note, the young man stored both digimon in his device's V-pet, a function he'd almost forgotten about since is move. After that, he started sprinting away.
