A Trailmon blazes through the snow covered hills, carrying quite little of passenger today. In that sparsely occupied interior, a black haired girl with thick clothes currently watching the scenery as the train passes. Pine trees, pine trees everywhere, and the sight honestly made her wonder if there is really anything like the one advertised. On her hand is a pamphlet that apparently meant for the inn she has long owned long ago... Long, as in before she somehow got her memory about this strange world wiped out.
"I had no idea how could I forgot this world. There's just... too many strange things here..."
On her sides are a Commandramon and a Black Guilmon X that seems to be staying silent.. at least not for long.
"...We purposely didn't told you because we thought it would be best to not say anything... and let the life carries on, but I guess... the call of Digital World is impossible to ignore."
"Well, considering that there are MILLIONS of yens stored in her bank account when she was just a doujin artist, anyone would wonder why she got so much," Warg commented.
"I don't think I would get that much either no matter what fetish I catered," Koharu joked. "Did I make some fursuit as side job?"
"BUHA--" Warg hearing that unable to contain his laughter, meanwhile Kon-chan stared at her judgingly.
"...I haven't met you for a while now, and the first few words you uttered is about some doujin and fursuit. Nakano Koharu you furry trash. Hard to believe you were some inn owner, a high class at it too."
"Well I wouldn't believe it either and that's why we're going there right? We're going to survey the building and everything... and hope they don't mind seeing their supposedly dead mistress of the inn returning out of nowhere."

"I told you too make sure you got on the right Trailmon." Runa said poking her head out of John's backpack. "Nooo, you only said that the Trailmon would take us back to the real world." John said back, having set her in the seat next to him. He was wearing a red long sleeve shirt, with blue jeans and a black hoodie with no zipper.
"Oh yeah because train stations usually have only one place it goes to, that makes perfect sense." John just pinched his nose, grumbling. "Look this has been a long morning, that monkey digimon threw me for a loop, I wasn't thinking straight!"
Runa hopped into his lap with a smirk on her face. "Well at least you admitted it was your fault, where do you think that place this Trailmon took us too was anyway?" She looked up. "I don't know, but right now I don't freaking care, all I want to do is go home and look at that flash-drive that guy gave me."
She raised an eyebrow at that, "Really your gonna open whatever's on there, what if it has something bad on it?" John shrugged, "I don't have much on there anyway, if it has a virus or whatever, I can just use my old laptop from then on. Besides, if I don't look the person could hire someone to go after me again, and I really don't want to encounter that Simon guy again."

"...What's those two over there talking about?" Koharu asked under her breath.
"Usually new mon and Linked, ya see," Warg explained. "Digital World is exactly like any fantasy lover's pet fiction. It's a new world with monsters, you can do stuff you can't before, you're partnered with monsters. Too bad you don't have any special power, but hey, you're a dragon rider. Ahem, well... at least you get the picture, right? A world alien to you, and you think you're the protagonist. But see, the truth might be really hurts for you, considering that you're not quite special, so to say. There are hundreds if not thousands of humans here, some that will return, some not and prefer to be in the safety of their native world."
"Some people lives in fantasy," Kon-chan added "they thought they're special, but no. In Digital World, your time is dilated. You won't get older as fast, but you still need sustenance. You will need place to sleep, economy is still important, and most of all, some Digimons might be hostile to you although most of us have intelligence to act in civilized manner. However, human culture versus digimon culture is way too different. The culture shock definitely could scare newcomers to return back to real world. Most of the time, however, poor souls got lost because they had no idea which Trailmon goes to which. Not helping that most of the signs are written in Digimoji, not in Japanese."
"...Whatever the case was... I think Snowflake is as far as it can from Real World when you look at it, right?"
"Heh, you'd need probably three days to return to Terminus with this train, who knows. This sadly would be misadventure for the two," Kon-chan remarked.
"Then again, not a lot to see in Snowflake I guess. It's really nice place for relaxing."
And soon, the train came to stop. Koharu walked outside. The blast of frigid wind was enough to made her shiver, but soon she saw the city.
"...This is a nice idyllic place, isn't it?"
"It definitely is. Before this place hates human, though... and forced to migrate. Well, you helped to soften the blow somewhat by building the inn. Soon the population returned, and here we go! Anyway, Anego, shall we go to the inn now? Northern area gets dark quicker after all."

John and Runa stayed silent for the rest of the ride, save for him asking for drawing prompts from the viximon, both oblivious to the conversation the other three where having. As they got off the train, John took out his phone and tried to text his Uncle, but to his frustration, it wasn't working. "Odd," he thought, "what's up with my phone?" If it broke when I fell in that portal, I swear I'm gonna find that monkey and punch him in the face so hard he'll go sane!"
Sighing, he put his phone back in his pocket turning his head to his back. "Okay, my phone's not working right, so we should go grab a train back home as soon as possible, and I'll make sure to get on the right one this time, don't worry." He said. Runa popped her head out of the backpack at this. "Hey we have time, might as well see what this place has to offer, maybe for times when we stay in this town overnight?" She suggested, waving her tail at the town.
John had a worried look on his face. "I don't wanna take too long, but I guess a little sightseeing wouldn't hurt." His expression relaxed as he walked through the town, making mental notes of any restaurants and shops he came across, even did some window shopping as he did.
He then walked up to a building that looked different from the others. "What is this, an inn?" John asked, Runa stuck her head out to see, what she saw was a business that was well kept at some point. "Seems to be the case, looks like it's seen better day's though, maybe someone abandoned it or something?" John just stood there looking at it, not sure if he should go in or not.
