Sam couldn't help but shift her eyes downward as Desmond told her that strength wasn't everything, they just needed to stick together. Where it was true about strength in numbers, the young woman wanted to be able to protect them sometimes. It always seemed that whatever situation they got into, Desmond and DemiMeramon were the ones to save the day. Sam just wanted to return the favor. She was about to voice her desire, but decided to keep quiet instead.
The brunette couldn't help but shiver as the temperature was starting to decline. She was glad when the DemiMeramon came closer to offer his heat for the others. But as much as Sam enjoyed cuddling with Desmond, it was probably for the best that they slept apart. Hawk took his spot in between them, and did his best to help keep his tamer warm. He listened to Desmond and DemiMeramon go back and forth about their plans for the next day. It was clear that the young man was not a fan of flying, and now that Hawk could choose where to go next, he would have to pick somewhere that they had to fly to. "I could take all of us to Mainframe Hills."
Sam nodded at her Digimon's suggestion. The name made it sound peaceful enough, the group needed a break from adventure. Too bad they didn't know what would be waiting for them there. "That sounds good to me." The young woman couldn't help but yawn. Laying on the beach with the others was very relaxing, she couldn't help but want to fall asleep. She wrapped her arms around the Hawkmon and closed her eyes, enjoying the heat that DemiMeramon was giving off. This would be her first time sleeping under the stars, and she couldn't help but find the whole thing peaceful. It didn't take long for both her and Hawk to drift off to sleep, both dreaming of what tomorrow would bring.
