Tenebrous - City of Night
Located beneath Terminus and beyond the reach of Luminas’s cannons the City of Night, characterized by the luminous moss that dots the ceiling of the cavern giving the illusion of stars, is a no man’s land of trade, legal or not, and trickery. A place in which anything and everything can be found…for a price. With the City itself run more akin to a thieves guild than any structured establishment with residents expected to police their own and certain shadowy individuals called upon to deal with issues should they grow out of hand. Tenebrous however is perhaps less a walled establishment rather than a living breathing city of silk and secrets shifting with the day if not the hour to accommodate its resident’s needs. A Bazaar of the bizarre the city is characterized by its colorful cloth tents and silk lined stone terraces carved directly into the cavern walls with crisscrossing rope bridges draped with flags twining through the air like a kaleidoscopic web of a particularly creative spider. Allowing for a quick retreat should the city need to move and a dizzying array of perches and bolt holes for creative snipers and defenders in the likelihood that Tenebrous might come under attack. While at first glance amidst such chaos one might believe The City of Night a lawless wasteland of vice and vengeance yet Tenebrous holds a sole cardinal rule. The City shall protect it’s own and woe be unto those who seek harm upon them and theirs.
