Fifteen minutes. That's how long Akemi felt like she had been moving for, and there wasn't really much to tell her that anything had changed in the landscape she was running through. Anzu had fallen asleep by now, which was pretty perplexing considering she was pretty sure the bean was still suffering from the light of the skies...But, she did just finish fighting that Yatagaramon.
And Mephistomon was infamous for being a really exhausting form for Anzu to maintain for any long period of time after combat's been involved. Maybe sleep really was all she needed to shrug it off. While Akemi wasn't really affected by the light (aside from it being annoyingly bright), she did suffer from another thing.
Exhaustion. Because eventually, the girl, who had been running on and off...Stopped and practically keeled over in a big case of the tired. "...Every stretch here looks exactly the same." She managed, between pants. Anzu? Anzu just snored.

As Akemi stumbled forward her legs practically giving out her foot would connect with something in the tall grass that at first one might have mistaken as a rock. If it weren't for the soft "Ow!" And soft whimper followed by "Owwie~" As the 'rock' shifting in the grass raising up to reveal a tiny red in-training Digimon, it's little frill like ears laying flat on it's head in pain as it lifted it's tiny arms to rub it's sore head. Only for it to unbalance itself in the process falling flat on it's belly in the little break in the grass which Akemi accompanied. Blinking guilelessly up at the human the tiny Digimon seemed to consider them a moment with bright inquisitive interest. "Did something hit you to make you fall down also?" The tiny Gigimon questioned in bright concern before letting out a soft gasp at the sight of Anzu. "Oh no it got your friend too!"

Akemi hadn't been expecting there to be someone that wasn't her or Anzu nearby already. At least, not after she ended up falling over. But she also definitely wasn't expecting the following things, either.
Another baby. A Gigimon. And just like the last time Akemi had been confronted with an In-Training? It was hopelessly adorable. So adorable, in fact, that Akemi was at a loss for words. She just found herself falling back! "...No, not really." She managed after a second or two. "Just tired. I ran a lot. Like, really far. Uh..."
Akemi glanced towards the still sleeping Anzu. "She's fine. Just let her rest. This place isn't really good for her to be in, from what I can see." The girl pulled herself up into a sitting position. "...Oh my gosh you're so small!" One could probably tell she was dying from how adorable this Gigimon was!

"Oh that's not good! Maybe you should take a nap too. The grass here is really comfy and there's a tree nearby. That's what I do when I get really tired running around. That or my Daddy carries me." The little Gigimon explained brightening at the thought of her Dad before eyeing the two of them contemplatively. You could practically see the wheels turning in the little creatures head.
"Maybe he could help carry you and your friend! Is she sick? My Dad says sometimes some digimon are al uh...al-hur-gic," The In-training Digimon spoke carefully sounding out the word, "Allergic! Yeah uh allergic to the light and stuff and it makes them sick." She explained before beaming up at Akemi.
"I'm Eris by the way! And don't worry I may be small, but I promise someday I'm gonna be the bestest knight that ever did knight stuff and knight stuff involves helping people in need!" Eris declared proudly as she introduced herself, her little ears trembling and tail wagging with excitement

"See, I'd do that if I weren't deathly afraid that another bird's going to come from the skies shooting beams at me." Akemi admitted. That took a turn. Pretty quickly. "...If my parents were here they'd blow a gasket. Especially my dad, so...Yeah, grass nap sounds pretty neat right now."
Shockingly? The Gigimon seemed to be right on the money when figuring out what was wrong with Anzu. "Yep. Super allergic. She was barely able to speak when she was awake--much less fight. Uh...Hi, Eris, I'm Akemi. This Tsukaimon's Anzu. But she's...still asleep."
Huh, she wanted to be a knight? Bold coming from a tiny bean. But given this was a Digimon... "...I believe it." Akemi said with a smile, trying to pat Eris. "A knight with a sword and everything? And a horse?"

"Yeah the best horse!" Eris chirped rearing back on her hind legs to press her tiny head into Akemi's palm leaning into the pet ears fluttering under Tamer's hand before she blinked those big blue eyes up at the human curiously. "What's a horse?" She questioned unsure of such a creature, but if knights had horses she'd have a horse too for certain!
"Though if And-Zu," The Gigimon began sounding out the Tsukaimon's name, "Is allergic we should probably get her out of the light or~" And Eris paused here in concern unsure how to say this without sounding rude.
"I would like you two to stay, but if she's sick my Dad says that a lot of the allergic digimon don't really get better till they leave. You could go to the docks. Lotsa flying digimon take all sorts of boxes and crates from there down to the surface." The little Gigimon suggested nuzzling her face against Akemi's hand before giving the Tamer's fingers a gentle if playful nibble.
"I play hide and seek there all the time though the workers are really bad at seeking around the outgoing boxes. I play with them cause..." and here Eris faltered her smile fading for a moment, but was quick to return as she barreled on in her optimism. "Well the angel digimon my age are really bad at that game! They always tell me to go hide, but can never find me and it gets boring if no one wants you to be found."

"It's a thing on four legs with a long face. Like...uh..." Wait, were there any horse Digimon? Holy crap, there-...There was one. "...Like a Pegasusmon." Akemi only remembered that because Anzu thought they were tacky. Speaking of, the bean started to stir a bit! Only to roll over on her side and yawn.
The tamer's attention was piqued by Eris stating there was a way out of here. Namely the docks...But...Wait. Docks? Where was that? "Where are the docks? I mean...I'm not in any rush to leave, but...I'd like to avoid any other birds trying to blow me up at the same time..." Akemi let out a giggle at the Gigimon's nibble. Somehow, she had a real affinity for these little Digimon, huh?
"I kind of know how that feels. Back when I was a kid I used to be pretty good at hide-and-seek! Except nobody ever wanted to play or find me. So that was kind of dumb. Bit of a waste..."

"Ohhh like a Pegasusmon! Sure those sound neat!" The Gigimon chirped though a brief look of confusion flitted across the In-Training Digimon's face at the mention of 'exploding birds.' She'd never seen a bird explode. Was that a common thing that could happen? If so maybe she should be more careful chasing the little digital ones in the park from now on.
"Yeah the angel digimon my age aren't very good at games. I think they're just afraid I'll beat them." Eris exclaimed proudly, "I mean I'm really good." She added beaming up at Akemi brightly until the girl questioned about where the docks were.
"Oh! That's easy! They're just two hills over that way! I usually just slip through the hole under the fence." She explained, "I can show you~" Eris continued only to pause at Anzu's yawn her eyes going wide at the sudden movement as she inched closer to the winged Tsukaimon.
"Is she ok?" Eris questioned, face uncomfortably close to Anzu's sleeping one in her curiosity. "Are Tsukaimon supposed to be purple? I thought they were orange. it's not cause she's sick is it?" The little Gigimon questioned in concern.

"Yeah! Just think of a wingless and armorless Pegasusmon." Please don't think of Patamon. "From what I've heard, angels do kind of suck at games. Though, I haven't played any games with them. I'm just a human." Akemi shrugged her shoulders. Huh, were the docks really that close by?
Maybe all that running had been good for something after all. "Oh, uh. She's...fine-ish. We should really get her out of the light. And...yes, they are. The orange ones are Patamon, while the purple ones are Tsukaimon. If she ends up turning anything other than purple it's probably because she's sick."
Meanwhile, with Anzu...A single eye opened to find itself staring at Eris. "...Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah." That was a very deadpan aaaaah.

"Ohh~" Eris murmured softly under her breath so as to not wake the Tsukaimon. "It's a very pretty color." Though it seemed her intentions to let the other Digimon sleep were not to be as Anzu awoke out out a flat strangely emotionless scream of shock that made Eris's ears lay flat in confusion. Before the Gigimon leaned forward her body glowing with a soft warmth and licked the Tsukaimon right on the forehead. The warmth glow seeming to surround Anzu instead healing her wounds and easing her fatigue.
"Hi! I'm Eris!" She chirped softly, introducing herself once again before she glanced questioningly up at Akemi. "I think she might be broke." The little Gigimon murmured frowning in concern.
"But I can show you two to the docks! I can even show you my gate! I bet if you wanted you could climb into one of the crates and they'd take you down to the surface. You'd be safe from exploding birds in there." She added voice returning to it's usual brightness with good cheer.
Eris used Regenerate on Anzu! SD-03 Card Name: Regenerate! Type: Modify Rank: Starter Duration: 3 Posts The target Digimon heals surface-level wounds and fatigue over the course of three posts.

Anzu wasn't sure what she was looking at or why Eris looked so confused, but she was even more perplexed as to why she licked her. But, the bean slowly got on her feet and stared, wincing a bit. The light still hurt. Akemi took her hat off and offered it to Anzu, and she promptly donned it.
She had now achieved peak gangster.
"Hi, I'm Anzu." The Tsukaimon felt a little better from that. Enough to manage coherent sentences. Akemi looked to Eris. "...She's just tired. It's okay." The tamer added with a nod before she stood up and stretched. "So, where's your gate?" She seemed a bit curious about that. Anzu took a bit of exception to the bird bit, though. "But I made the bird explode!"

"Oh~ You probably shouldn't make the bird explode in the box with you." Eris advised nodding her head sagely though she looked more like a bobblehead than wise. Still she beamed at Anzu all the same. "It's nice to meet you both! And sure! Follow me. It's not that far." The little Gigimon explained motioning for the pair to follow her before trotting off at a brisk pace. Well brisk given her tiny legs and the fact she occasionally had to bounce above the grass to get her bearings on where she was going. At least it was fairly easy to track her through the greenery based on the fact you could see the tip of her ears poking out like little red flags.
In truth Akemi and Anzu had not only been close, but almost run right past the docks with the little loading area set near the edge of the floating island down a little dip that gave the visual illusion that the meadow just went on forever. However, cresting the last hill they could see the small wooden and metal building surrounded by a chainlink fence down in the little valley. Various flying Digimon landing and departing from the large bays that faced outwards over the edge.
"Come on. My entryway is right over here!" The Gigimon chriped leading them towards the quieter part of the building towards a section of fence that looked as though a stray flying digimon might have had one too many to drink and crashed into it.

"Well, yeah. Then the box'd explode and so would I, and that's kind of bad." Anzu nodded at the little red bobblehead before she took some inches off the ground and flew behind Eris. Akemi started to follow after a moment of watching the little Gigimon BOUNCE. One couldn't really blame her for really enjoying the cute stuff in life, huh?
It was astonishing how close it was. Don't doubt the Gigi, folks! What was also astonishing for the duo was that this was the first instance of civilized life aside from Eris that they had found in the Skies that wasn't that eyesore of a city that was Luminas. It really was a dock. The two followed Eris over to the gate, before Anzu started to snicker uncontrollably. "Wow, seems like a bird hit that gate!"

"Yeah apparently a Angemon missed." Eris chirped as she scampered up the the gate where up close they could see a bit where the earth had been torn up and dipped and didn't quite meet the fence creating a hole big enough for the little Gigimon to wiggle through. Which she did as she laid down onto her belly and crawled forward straining for a moment against the chainlink before she popped out on the other side. Anzu and Akemi would likely find it easier though as there wasn't much resistance to the fence and a human with hands could easily lift it up high enough the pair could slip under it. Leaving them in a small grassy courtyard facing the back of the building with a surface door set into it that was slightly ajar as if the latch didn't quite meet.
Nosing it open Eris would lead them into a large room full of wooden crates. Many marked with the names of various villages or outposts though they'd need to quickly duck behind a few as a Gargoylemon came in through the other door to collect one.

"Missed...?" Akemi inquired. "Missed with what, his Hand of Fate?" What did missed mean here? The way the earth looked, it seemed like someone dug a pretty big hole that made a big enough gap for anyone to fit through if they were tiny enough. Thankfully? Akemi and Anzu both fit that criteria.
It was at this point that the tamer realized that once again she was just trespassing somewhere with Anzu. She couldn't seem to get away from that, could she? Nonetheless, she followed Eris into the room (with Anzu in tow and thankful to be out of the light) before ducking behind some crates.
She whispered, "...Okay, so...what do we do now? Not get caught?"
