"What doesn't kill you doesn't kill you," was Commandramon's little pearl of wisdom for Veemon in answer to his rhetorical question. "What doesn't permanently damage you may or not make you stronger, partly depending on your own choice whether to let it. As for me-" Commandramon didn't pause for dramatic effect. He seethed and bent over as a wave of pain went through his chest, evidence that just because he was victorious didn't mean he was fine. He took a hasty seat beside Veemon just to lay down a moment and let the wave pass. When it did, he finished, "As for me, I've decided sparring you two has made me stronger... even if I don't feel too strong at the moment." That was supposed to be a compliment.
As for Tadayoshi, he let Justice's last comment go. He'd said his piece, and he was more interested in seeing Angel in action as the newest member of the group. Boy, did she come out strong, too! Maybe she wasn't much of a team player, though; that was problematic. At least something got done. The male was struck and sent spinning. Still, Yoshi couldn't help adding his two cents: "Find a rhythm, guys! Angel, support Renamon!"
Maybe Angel messed up the fox's attack plan, but she was highly adaptable as a spy needed to be. Seizing on the opening, she sprang upwards to a tree branch, then up again to be high above the much dizzier Renamon. Midair, she crossed her arms in front of herself, which summoned lots of white-glowing, sharp projectiles that resembled glowing glass shards in shape. That was as much warning as the male got before they started to rain down at him. "Diamond Storm!"
As for Angel, she never stopped spinning in place. Instead of a tornado, though what she summoned this time was... a hand grenade. Yes, in midair in front of her, a fragmentation grenade appeared. At the beginning of her next revolution, one ear grabbed the object, and halfway through it she took another with the other ear. At the end of that revolution, the same ears hurled the first, then the second, aiming for just by the male Renamon's feet where she expected him to land. "Bite this, foxy! Unholy Hand Grenades!"
"That's it, girls!"
Renamon attacked Renamon with Diamond Storm. -Diamond Storm: This digimon summons a group of sharp diamond-shapes projectiles made of pure energy that simultaneously launch at the foe and cut them. Angel attacked Renamon with Unholy Hand Grenades. --Unholy Hand Grenades: Before anything, this digimon spins and summons grenades out of thin air as she does. Second, this digimon shalt she take out the Unholy Pins as she spins. Then, she lobbest she her Unholy Hand Grenades towards her foe, who, being naughty in 25 feet of the explosion whose damage is boosted by 50%, shall snuff it and suffer burns that shalt reduce reduce speed by making movement painful for two posts. Three shalt be the number of the post cooldown, and the number of the cooldown shall be three. Four shalt it not cool, neither cool it two, excepting that it then proceed to three. Five is right out.
Unholy Hand Grenades must cool down: 3 posts remaining. Field Medicine must cool down: 3 posts remaining. Mind's Eye must cool down: 1 posts remaining. Terrier Tornado has finished cooling down.

Renamon exclaimed as he felt more and more excruciating pain which was from Diamond Storm as he just as he was about land, The BlackTerriermon used Unholy Hand Gernades which didn't help in the slightest to relieve said pain as he then flew backwards towards a tree that hit him right in the head, sliding down to what seems to be him just laying there, unconscious.
Blake had his eyes widened as to what happened as he quickly came to Renamon's aid, almost tripping himself. As Blake ran over to to the tree which was where Ren was laying on, he kneeled down to take a closer look at him and it wasn't really pretty. Blake then took his hand as he tried to see if Ren would grip Blake's hand as some sort of a sign. "I should've said otherwise to Terry." Was all that he said to himself.
Meanwhile, Terriermon was speechless at this point. What Renamon would call a training excercise, Terry would say it was torture to look at. He looked at Tadayoshi as he thought of doing something as payback but, he would drop it immieidately as it won't be worth it regardless. He went a little more to the right, looking at Blake trying to see if Ren was conscious. "I should've helped him." He thought before looking down in shame.

"Are-"
"-you-"
"-seriously-"
"-frickin'-"
"-kidding-"
"-me?" each of the Missimon exclaimed, disappointed by the complete and utter mismatch that was Blake's digimon against Silence's fox-rabbit combo. Tadayoshi harshly shushed them for it, but the truth was he couldn't help but agree. That wasn't much of a fight at all. That doesn't feel right. Like a bully stealing the small boy's lunch money. He thought he should step in and say something. "Listen, I'm so-"
"-Get up so I can drop you again!" The General had taken two steps into the clearing but jumped right back when Angel declared that. Even after Blake's Renamon had fallen, after Blake had rushed to his side, the bloodthirsty terror terrier was charging in horn-first.
"Angel, stand down!"
"Screw off, boy scout!" She didn't seem to find any problem in getting so close as to jump and try and dive into Renamon's stomach while he was down. "Rush horn!" She never made it to her target or even the ground for that matter. The remaining Renamon suddenly appeared behind her and kicked her mid-air so hard that she became a projectile headed straight for a tree. Her horn got lodged in it too high for her feet or even her ears to touch the ground. Immediately she began to struggle, but her horn stuck fast. "Oh, this is bull!"
"We're going to have to keep you on a tighter leash," Renamon coldly hissed at her, "Unless you'd rather live in a four-by-four box."
"Oh, dear!" Finally safe, Tadayoshi ran forward. "I'm so, so sorry for her. What happened to him? Did something go wrong?"

This didn't feel familiar. Where was he, what he could feel underneath him. Everything was hazy, and he didn't want to open his eyes yet. He felt sick; and opening his eyes would only make him want to vomit more than he already did. So he had to rely on his other sense.
Gummy was aware of one main thing; that he was feeling immense pain. Everything. His body, limbs, right down to the very core all felt like they had been bombarded with multiple pincers all at once, badly. His head was aching so much that he couldn't think straight. He was lying down – that much was clear. And wherever he was lying on, the lower half of his body was covered up, a blanket maybe? His paws brushed over what he lay upon. Grass. Long, prickly grass. There was the sound of yelling and combat close by, and the back of his head started to throb even more.
He rubbed his paws slowly over his face, blinking his eyes open, shading them from light. Once his eyes adjusted to the light, Gummy was able to take in his surroundings – which instantly jogged his memory. He was fighting alongside his brother against a Commadramon. He wanted to sit up, but when he tried, he was overwhelmed with pain in his chest. He winced in pain as he slowly set himself back down. Looking up front, he could see that most of his upper body was bandaged up. In addition, Vee, who was also covered in bandages, Justice, and Commandramon were sitting in front of him. Perhaps they didn't hear him due to whoever was fighting in the ring. Nevertheless, he dropped his head to the ground, starring at the leaves on the high tree, overlapping the sun's rays gleaming down on him...
"Wow...that was pretty bad." Justice uttered to himself, disappointed at the outcome of the fight between the other Tamer's Digimon and Tadayoshi's. At first, he thought two Digimon of the same species would be a bit interesting, as he thought that would have the same attack pattern and moves. But this...this was entirely one sided, easily. Throughout the fight, Justice could spot many instances of where the other Tamer's Renamon could have easily avoided. It was like pig going into a slaughtered house.
He looked in distain when the other Terriermon wanted to attack the down Renamon, only to then the other Renamon to put her in the process. He only shook his head in response to the Digimon being stuck in the tree while Vee let out a weak laugh, only to wince in pain in the process.
"Hmph, like a rabid puppy." If Vee and Gummy were facing those pair, maybe the outcome would have been different.

As the BlackTerriormon was charging into them, Blake immieidately stepped infront of his downed Renamon. "I won't let you hurt him!" He exclaimed as he then saw Yoshi's Ren stopped her as now BlackTerriermon's horn was lodged into a tree. Blake sighed in relief as he bowed to Yoshi's Renamon as a 'Thank you!' As he went back to kneel down to the side of his Renamon. When Tadayoshi came up to him to ask if something went wrong, Blake sighed and turned his head to him. "I honestly have next to no idea. One things for certain though. I should've had Terry with him." He answered as his head then turned to his Terriermon from a distance, shaking his head.
A grunt would be heard as Blake's Renamon regained consciousness attempting to get up but, slid down instead, since the effects of Unholy HandGernades was still in effect. Blake puts a hand on the fox's shoulder to look at him. "It was my fault I wasn't prepared." The fox said weakly. But, really, his eyes were focused on Terry.
From where Justice and his digimon were, Terriermon saw Blake and Ren's eyes met his giving a sign of disappointment. ----------------

"Alright, well..." Tadayoshi smiled awkwardly. Clearly, he wasn't happy about that outcome either. Angel was still struggling to get her horn unstuck from that tree, but thus far she hadn't made any progress. "...This exercise didn't end ideally, but I think we all learned something, at least."
"We learned we can't trust the rabbit when we need her most." Renamon rudely and cruelly grabbed Angel by both her ears and tugged. The one motion was enough to extract her from the tree, but Renamon did not let her ears go after rescuing her.
"Ow! Easy on the goods, foxface!"
"Do not try my patience any further." Renamon coldly tossed the digimon she was holding in Tadayoshi's direction. The General, acting on reflex, caught her in his Loader in order to spare Angel a kiss with the hard, hard ground.
"Well, the captain could probably use some practice against multiple opponents. It did come uncomfortably close. Renamon-" The last named digimon glared at Tadayoshi. He gulped. "-did a fantastic job with the partner she had. Umm... why don't we all reflect on our experiences separately? Thank you all for the training."

Blake's Renamon would attempt to get up again but, was stopped by his tamer. "Why are you being jumpy all of a sudden? At least rest for a bit until, you're able to walk at least." He said to him. While saying this, you can see that his Terriermon was approaching him, Renamon and, Yoshi as he ran. He would jump up to glide which would be faster but, he wasn't thinking.
Blake's Renamon couldn't help but, smirk at Yoshi's Renamon. "I still have a long way to go, I guess." He thought as he looked at Tadayoshi. "The combos you taught them are quite effective I must admit." He spoke weakly as he attempted to get up again slowly, succesfully doing so. He would stretch but, would stop immieidately as he didn't want to hurt myself. After looking infront of him, he can see that Terriermon was infront of him. He looked genuinely worried.
"Are you okay?" Terry asked him, looking up to the fox. Blake wanted to say something but, it was best for when they weren't in The Digital World.
Renamon would slowly kneel down to Terriermon as he had a straight face. "I'll live. However, I want to discuss something with you but, I'll save it when we get home, alright?" Renamon said to him, nodding to Terry's question.

After Tadayoshi, Blake, and the rest of their Digimon took off, now resolved with confidence to further improve on their skills, Justice breath a sigh, leaning his head against the tree with his eyes closed. He was upset, yes, but not at the outcome of the fight against Commandramon. It was because if he could have strategize with the Vee and Gummy during the fight, Gummy wouldn't have gotten hurt so bad. The more he thought about it, the more upset he became. He lowered his head down, covering his face. He was grateful that there was no one to see him like this.
It wasn't just Justice that was upset, Vee was as well. The fact that he even against a single opponent, Gummy and him ultimately stood no chance against him. As a consequence, he had to watch as his little brother get bombarded with bullets right in front of his eyes. Seeing him like that drove him into a white rage, something that was entirely against his pure nature. He pushed his scarf over his mouth and stared at the ground, unable to find the words to cheer his Tamer up.
"C'mon now...I'm out for a couple of minutes, and suddenly you guys just look like the world just ended." a weak, yet familiar voice said.
The two turned around to see Gummy, who slightly leaned his head from the ground to see their faces. Surprised, and at a lost for words, Justice and Vee quickly got up, with Vee hugging his brother in a warm embrace.
"Ow,ow,ow! Easy!" Gummy managed to muster out, still in a lot of pain.
"I'm so glad you're alright!" Vee cried, his body shaking as tears began to roll down his eyes. "I'm so sorry...it should have been me that was in your place! I'm your big brother, and it's a big brother's responsibility to protect their younger siblings of any danger! It's what I should do!"
Gummy had nothing to say. He was surprised that his brother was so worried about him. He always had such a happy-go-lucky attitude, so seeing him like this was like a jolt to his systems. Nevertheless, he playfully flicked his brother in the forehead in response, not in a mean way, but to reassure him that he was alright. "Chin up there. You're suppose to be the oldest right. It's not a good image to break down in tears, don't ya think?"
Vee nodded in response and dried up his tears.
"At the end of the day, a fight's a fight, regardless on who gets hurt or not. I got too cocky and... this is what I get." He attempted to laugh, but grab his chest in pain. "But it's all good; the next time we meet that Commandramon, it'll be different."
Vee half smile. "You got that right!" The two bumped with each other's fist, recognizing that they have a long way to go before they become superstars.
Watching the two, Justice felt oddly numb. On one hand, he was happy that his Digimon was alright, and that the brothers reconciled. But on the other, he was a bit jealous of their relationship. He wish that he can have that kind of relationship with his brother and sister. He hasn't spoken to them since he came to Shibuya. Looking at the sky radiate a light orange, it was about to be dark real soon.
Kneeling down to Gummy, he was visibly shaking. "Gummy I'm..." he stop, his voice quivering. He knew what he wanted to say, but couldn't muster up the confidence to say it.
"I know," Gummy interrupted, "You're gonna take us out to eat on a job well done."
Looking up, Justice couldn't help but smile at the purple dragon's naivety. "Yeah, it's all on my tab." Vee slowly climbed on his back while Justice cradled Gummy in his arms as they walked out of the battleground.
One thing was clear to all three of them: in order to face any of the challenges of the Digital World, they need to get stronger, now matter how much it takes.
