"Eris, stop!" He shouted, somehow hoping she would listen to reason in time, but hearing the dark digimon's roars of fury it was clear this would not be the case. While he made his way next to the rampaging dragon, he could see armored digimon preparing to launch another attack in his direction, and this time it wasn't going to be a simple hit from her tail.
This time however he was prepared. As he finally came within slashing distance off the enraged Ultimate he put his arms up, ready to block to the best of his ability the ensuing attack. The acidic claws slashed into his forearms, Dio snarling in pain as he could feel the caustic afterburn searing into his arms. It stung, yes, but it was better than being sent flying yet again, or getting his chest slashed open.
Again.
Words alone were not going to be enough, it seemed, and as much as it hurt him to do this he would have to retaliate if he expected to get any results.
"I said stop!" His voice boomed, commanding as he extended one glowing claw in the direction of the Wargrowlmon, before a spark of pure electricity shot out aiming for Eris. Violence with violence, that was the best and most direct way to deal with such a situation like this.
He knew that from experience.
Dio is hit by Caustic Claws and retaliates with System Shock
System Shock: Charges up power within his arms, releasing a relatively short ranged (40ft) electrical arc from his hands. Deals heavy damage and lowers the enemy’s defense by 25% for two posts. Three post cooldown

Ophelia's ears were perked and swiveled towards the forest, as she could hear more shouting, roaring, and combat. Her fur was standing on end a little in anticipation, particularly at the end of her flicking tailtip; wondering just how intense the fight must've been, for the ruckus it was making. It certainly wasn't the type of combat she'd expect to hear from rookies, that was for sure; but that didn't exactly scare her. In fact, it only excited her further! She wanted to be challenged, if she was gonna end up joining in whatever throw down was going on!
With the fiery glare and determined statement that Kitt gave her though, Ophelia blinked, before laughing jovially. "Hell yeah! That's some fuckin' spirit if I've ever seen any! I like ya!" She'd remark with a playful punch on the shoulder as she helped Kitt up. "Just try n' keep your weight off that ankle, kay? Lets go and see just what the hell's going on out there." She would sling Kitt's arm over her shoulders to help him - letting him lean against her as she began moving out towards the woods, towards the sounds of combat.
Things only got louder and more clearer as they began to approach the scene - Dio's call for Eris to stop being clearly heard with her sensitive ears, as well as her seeing the sight of the scattering animals. "Damn... Wonder what's going on...?" Ophelia would breathe - more a rhetorical question to herself than anything. Though, it wasn't long until they found their answer - seeing the NeoDevimon locked in combat with a large, Black Wargrowlmon-X - in the middle of a small clearing of their own making! Two Ultimates, Ophelia's eyes lit up with excitement as she saw the combat - her tail swishing at a breakneck pace. "Woaaaah..." She'd breathe - she couldn't remember the last time she ever saw a fight this big!
At the same time though, Eris' scent was strong in the air - she was somewhere around here, though Ophelia was completely unawares that this Black WarGrowlmon was her - at least not yet. She'd glance around, asking Kitt "You see Eris anywhere?" as she tried to look for the little Gigimon that she thought would be around here.

Kitt didn’t know how to react to the female Spadamon playfully punching his shoulder. He wasn’t all too familiar with gestures since he wasn’t very social to begin with, but nevertheless he’d gave a wry, and confused smile to her as she picked him up and put his arm around her shoulder. Hearing the sound of thrashing and rumbling, the two went deeper into the woods.
“Hold on, I’m coming for you Eris.” he thought to himself.
Walking Into the forest, the sound of combat started getting louder and louder, voices that was just muffled jiberish to his ear became coherent now. Hearing a voice telling Eris to stop, and the Spadamon wondering what was going on, Kitt’s heart started to pump faster. Was Eris in danger, or was it the other way around? His breathing slowly started to get louder; his heart rate almost mimicking the sounds of the fight. If it wasn’t for his ankle, he would have been on all fours by now, dashing to the source of the fighting.
It didn’t take long for them to reach the area of interest. Trees were scattered all and about, pulled and torn apart like toothpicks. In the center of all of it were two Digimon: one was NeoDevimon, who had a tall, demonic appearance with lanky arms with wings almost as big as its body. The other was Black Wargrowlmon X. It was gigantic in size, having a metallic and almost beast-like appearance. Unlike the female Spadamon who’s eyes were widen in excitement, Kitt’s eyes were widen in confusion and fear. Why we’re two strong Digimon dukeing it out in the middle of the forest where there was a battleground where they just came from.
When the female Spadamon asked Kitt where Eris was at, instead of looking around with her, Kitt was looking at the Black Wargrowlmon, not taking his sight away from it. His nose wasn’t the best as tracking, but he could tell that this scent all around was too familiar.
There was no doubt about it: the Black Wargrowlmon was Eris.
“Eris...” he uttered as he pointed at the large Digimon’s direction. His voice was trembling—a mix with shock and fear. “T-t-t-that’s her..!”

“T-t-t-that’s her..!” Kitt's words soft as they were and full of fear drew the Black WarGrowlmon-X's attention as blue glowing eyes flickered towards the two Spadamon widening in shame, shock, and fear before her distraction cost her.
The electric blast slammed hard into the Dragons chest launching her back as she fell heavily onto her side with a furious snarl of pain. Anger driving any further embarrassment and shame from her mind as the red of fury clouded her vision. Leaving the Dragon to rise to their feet with a growl as the machine guns mounted on her shoulders shot a spew of molten heated bullets at her opponent as she slunk back into the forest trying to draw him away from the rookies or to put distance between them and her shame.
She was supposed to be the knight. Kitt's knight in shining armor or perhaps even the warrior princess in this story, but she was neither. In this fairytale, she realized, she was the monster.
Eris Uses Vulcan Buster -Vulcan Buster: Fires a spray of super heated metallic bullets from it's shoulder mounted Vulcan guns. Cooldown none.

While his attack had been succesful in bringing Eris to the ground, Dio wasn't able to capitalize on it and try to subdue her while she was down, as he was too distracted by the very same thing that distracted his friend just a moment ago: the rookies Kitt and Ophelia had just came across their "little" fight.
His frustration and anger only grew at this. These idiots, didn't they know they could get seriously hurt?
"Whelps, why are you here?! It's dangerous!" He yelled, his eyes turning away from the fight to glare at the two.
This momentary lapse in attention would cost him however, as when the raging Eris got back up on her feet and fired a hail of bullets in his direction there wasn't much he could do to avoid them, other than raise his arms in front of him to attempt to block some of the projectiles, to middling success as a good number of them still pierced parts of his chest, leaving behind smouldering marks and dents all over him. By the time it was over, Eris had put a fair amount of distance between them again, trying to dissapear into the greenery again. Could she perhaps be trying to keep the fight away from the rookies?
Dio didn't know, and it wasn't like he could ask her, but that did seem to be the case. With that in mind, it was hardly surprising when he turned to the two Spadamon once again, fury in his glare as his metallic voice said a single order.
"Stay."
With that said and a single powerful flap of his wings Dio had dissapeared from the clearing as well, half running half flying after the dark dragon. His eyes gleamed red in the shade as soon as he caught the smallest glimpse of Eris. A blast of red energy shot out from the demon's many eyes, aiming to hopefully hit the far away Eris before she got much farther away.
Dio takes damage from Vulcan Buster, and follows after Eris while using Red Ray.
Red Ray: Fires a long ranged (100ft) red energy beam from his visor. This attack is not particularly powerful damage wise, but can easily pierce through armor of its same level and below. Three posts cooldown.

The big dragon digimon... WAS Eris? Ophelia would glance to Kitt at first - noting his fear and shock - before glancing off in Eris' direction, it all clicking. Indeed, the scent seemed to come from her direction - and the Black WarGrowlmon-X would glance to them, and seemingly recognize them, until Dio's onslaught sent her backwards. Though, that was also when Dio turned his attention to the both of them.
Ophelia's fur puffed in response to the NeoDevimon yelling at them, and she looked ready to snap back at him - especially at being called a 'whelp' - before he was struck by a flurry of bullets. She'd tense noticably, tailtip flicking as she realized that they could've easily been caught in the crossfire if Eris didn't begin drawing away into the forest beyond. Though before, this all seemed exciting - albeit also tense, given that she thought that Eris was still hiding as an in-training - she never realized that... Eris could digivolve quite like this. Why the fuck did Eris never tell her? She thought that the little Gigimon was, well, a gigimon who didn't reach Rookie quite yet - but it was clear Eris far surpassed herself, even.
It wasn't like now was exactly the time she could ask, though. She would watch as Dio glanced to them with anger - and being the stubborn, hotheaded Spadamon she was, she met Dio's gaze evenly and stood her ground. She knew how the hell to take care of herself - and it wasn't like they could ever expect Eris to actually be this tough! It wasn't like she had much of a chance to retort to Dio this time either, as before she could even think of the words to say, he was off - chasing after Eris into the undergrowth and leaving her and Kitt behind.
Ophelia couldn't help a soft growl of frustration, tail flicking and ears tilting back a hair - but she glanced to Kitt, to see what he'd have to say, given that he was kind of relying on her for movement at the moment. "What do you think?

After confirming to the other Spadamon...no, Ophelia, that the giant, seamlessly lifeless war machine Digimon was Eris, the Spadamon didn't dare take his sight off her. His face was contorted; a mixture of anguish and fear gripped him. When Black WarGrowlmon-X turned towards the two, her indistinguishable blue eyes snapped him out of his fear and into a realization: she wasn't feral as he expected, she still can recognized them.
"Eris..." Kitt said, reaching his arm out to her, coming to a sudden stop when NeoDevimon's electric attack struck Eris in the chest, knocking her back violently. Hearing her cries of pain made him jump in fear. "ERIS!" He was trembling so violently he couldn't even drop his arm down. He was feeling all kinds of emotions: fear, anger, and shock. He wanted to run up to her to see how hurt she was, but due to his sprain leg, he couldn't even make it two feet without falling down. Before he could even take action, the NeoDevimon started to reprimand them for coming to a live battlefield.
Unlike Ophelia, who was ready to give him a piece of her mind, Kitt only looked at him, his pupils narrowing into slits in anger. He only briefly paid attention to Eris retreating back into forest, shooting some projectiles at NeoDevimon in the process. He flew after her, but not before ordering the two to stay put. When Ophelia asked him what should they do now, the Spadamon didn't respond, looking at the clearing where NeoDevimon once stood, his words echoing his mind.
Whelp... he heard that from somewhere...whelp... Lowering his head, it finally clicked to him: that was one of the common insults Digimon threw at him a long time ago back when he was living at Snowflake Village in the Northern Prominence. There was not a day when he was living there where he didn't hear that word. He was called that so much that even the In-Training Digimon started to call him that; it was all he was ever called, not by Kitt, but as a mere whelp. It struck him as much as the bitter, heartless cold of that region, and hearing that after all this time made him froze, not in sadness, but in pure rage.
Kitt started to pant heavily. He could feel the word "whelp" slowly starting to take a hold of him. His heart was beating wildly, and he was sure it was an audible sound. Every inch of him wanted to scream and shout at the Digimon that call him that disgusting insult. Slowly, but surely, his mind started to go blank in anger.
He took his arm that was sling around Ophelia's neck, got on all fours, and started to sprint at full speed, going after the two despite his ankle injury. To him, physical pain was only temporarily, mental pain wasn't. And to him, mental pain only existed in the form of one word: Whelp.

Pain sharp and hot lanced through the Black WarGrowlmon's shoulder as she screamed her pain a guttural roar of agony as she bared her fangs at Dio. Caution thrown to the wind as she sparked and bled. She had been trying to run. To get away, but now... The black markings on the Dragon's flesh alight. Growing and pulsing an sickly red as she lowers and head and charges aiming to rip into Dio with her claws as the acrid scent of ozone and radiation begins to fill the air as her wounds slowly begin to knit closed with a soft hiss like acid on metal. Eris Activates Digital Hazard!-Digital Hazard: Drawing deep on their fury Eris's power and healing rate increases by fifty percent. Her form regenerating at half of an active healing rate for her level and her controlled rage driving her strength to new heights turning her into a temporary juggernaut. In order to maintain Digital Hazard however, Eris must attack every turn with the ability lasting as long as Eris continues her offensive. Failing to do so every turn results in Digital Hazard ending and Eris unable to use any of her named techniques for a single turn as she recovers from her power expenditure. Forcing her to recharge before she can utilize Digital Hazard once more. Cooldown: Five turns. Eris charges and tries to rip Dio apart with her claws.

Did Dio feel bad for snapping at the two Spadamons like he had? Or think about it at all? Not really, had he been in less of a rush he would have probably taken the time to put them atop a tall branch on a tree or something so they would stay put, but alas that was not an option.
A pang of guilt struck his core every time any of his attacks landed, every time Eris roared both in pain and anger. Now this he felt worse than bad for doing, even someone as battle hungry as he was took nothing but pure sadness from having to fight someone that obvious size and destructive power aside was nothing more than a confused, angry child.
An angry child that...nonetheless was still a force to be reckoned with! That much became painfully obvious for the tall demon as the black markings on her body began glowing a red light, just before she charged at him at full speed, bearing her claws.
Gritting his teeth he'd also charge forward, throwing caution to the wind as his own claws seemingly grew longer and brighter. His glowing claws went to meet hers, locking and slashing and clashing, aiming to get one good hit in to try to slow her attack, but in doing so he too would feel the sharp metallic claws digging into him, Dio letting out a cry of pain as he too kept the offensive. Though he knew well this wouldn't be able to last for long...
Dio takes damage from Eris' Digital Hazard empowered attacks, and attacks with Bloody Claw Barrage.
Bloody Claw Barrage: His claws glow red with energy as he charges forward, whilst slashing madly in front of him, leaving a small red mist on his wake. Each individual slash does relatively small damage, but the sheer amount of them in such a small time frame makes this a dangerous move. Said red mist will buff any ally that comes into contact with it, raising the damage of their next attack by 30%. Three posts cooldown.

A lot happened with the coming moments. Or, at least, it was a lot in terms of quality; not so much a lot in quantity. Already there was finding out that Eris could digivolve into this big fucking dragon-machine, and being scolded by Dio before he ran off after her. Hell, she could hear Eris and Dio's conflict as they retreated into the forest ahead - the roaring and shouting... But now?
Whilst Ophelia had waited for Kitt to give her some form of response - any response, really - she noted Kitt's silently building anger, and lack of response. On one hand, Ophelia was all for wild passion and letting your emotions be known, but she wasn't sure if Kitt was in any state for that, with his sprained ankle. "Hey. Am I gonna have to wrestle the answer outta ya or something?" Ophelia would ask, and she was about to give Kitt a small bonk upside the head - playful in nature really - though before she could even reach her hand for the bonkage, Kitt would already be darting after them! "T-the fuck?!"
Ophelia was stunned for a good second - though just as quickly as Kitt was off, she was off to the races as well - running to try and catch up to Kitt. "Hey, the hell are ya up to?!" She'd call to Kitt - though even if her wording implied anger, she was more confused than anything at what Kitt's plan might be. Either way though, regardless of what was running thru Kitt's head at the time, Ophelia wasn't about to let him go solo - Homeostasis only knew what might happen.
Especially with the sour, acrid scent that she could pick up in the air, as the two chased after Dio and Eris...

That word... that same damn word was playing repeat in Kitt’s head like a broken record. All he could think about was the numerous Digimon that called him that in the past. Following the strong, somewhat acidic smell that started to spread throughout the forest at full speed, he got more angrier by the second recalling his past. His face was writhe; having both a mixture of unprecedented rage and pain, the latter due to putting a lot of pressure on his sprained ankle. But it didn’t mattered. It didn’t matter how much pain he was in with every step he took. It was nothing compared to the pain of having to relive the past over again, all due to that stupid word. He could recall the time where he was still a Wanyamon—a time where despite being well-fed and taken care of in a nursery, the caretaker would be mean to only him. On occasions, he would call him a whelp when talking to other co-workers. Still an in training at the time, he never understood what that word meant. But since he was the only one that was called that, he thought it was something to be proud of; a special word just for him.
One night, when the other In-Tranings were doze off sleeping, he got out of his tiny bed and started to exit the building. He did this frequently to go outside to watch the Aurora Borealis that would appear one day every week. Kitt loved watching the light show despite it being mostly blurred out by the snow. But on rare occasions, there wouldn't be a single clouds in the sky, allowing him to watch the heavens dance from end of the horizon to the other. This night was the night where their was no forecast for snow.
As soon as he made it out of the door and went straight to the roof by a makeshift ladder that he made from tree branches and bed sheets, a bystander thought he was stuck on the roof and went inside to tell the caretakers despite his protest of just star gazing. Caught in the middle of the act, his punishment was being moved to seclusive area of the daycare in which he couldn’t interact or play with any of the Digimon for a week. The young Kitt tired to explain to the caretaker that he was only watching the Aurora Borealis, but to no avail as they didn't want to hear it. Being guided to his temporary, but harsh punishment that he'd call his room for awhile. Hearing the caretaker called him a whelp under his breathe, he looked at them with a curious glance. To him, it meant something special to him, but in actuality, he didn't knew what that word meant.
"What does whelp mean?" he asked.
Perplexed for a moment, the caretaker laughed out loud at that question, so loud in fact that he started to wake up some of the In-Tranings that were sleeping. Not knowing what was so funny, he puffed up his tiny body, backing up what he said. “Oh c'mon, what does that word mean? I know it means something good, right? You call me that all the time, so it must mean that I'm special, right?"
The caretaker, whom he still can’t recall what he looked like, stopped his laughter and finally spoke, but it wasn’t what the young Kitt was expecting to hear. “Foolish child. It doesn’t mean you’re special, it means you’re a worthless being; a mistake that shouldn’t have been born."
Hearing that shook Kitt’s foundations to the very core, his eyes slowly widening. He didn't want to believe that. He didn't understood why they said that, maybe they were pulling a sick prank.“W-what do you mean?" he said. "That's not true. My friends-"
"You don't have any friends!" The caretaker interrupted him, now visibly mad. “I don’t know where in your little brain-dead mind you got that from. Everyone here, including myself, think you're waste of space, period. The only reason we took you in when you were just an egg is because it would have been bad for business if we just abandoned an egg. Now shut the hell up, runt. And if I see you going on the roof again whelp, you’re gonna wish you were dead.”
The caretaker shut the door, leaving the small Wanyamon to himself. The words seemed to echo throughout the small, silent room. He collapsed on his bed, his furry body shaking as he started to sob.
"It's not true, it’s not true, it’s not true....” he wept. Soon enough, Kitt started to slowly see what the caretaker was talking about. Everyone was starting to treat him differently, even repeating the word 'whelp', sometimes under their breathe, sometimes out loud. The realization begun to sink in and stab him like shrapnel from broken glass. The shrapnel piercing his heart and leaving a wound that wouldn’t be forgotten for a long time. Eventually as the days followed, and as the other In-Training Digimon started to see him the same way as the caretaker does, he slowly started to accept it as a fact After a few weeks of isolation, he accumulated enough data and digivolved into a Spadamon without that caretaker knowledge. Kitt soon left that nursery immediately, but not before trashing the room he stayed in, marking “F**k you!” on the walls.
In that exchange, Kitt suffered a mental toll that lingered in his mind for a very long time. Since he took the words to heart, he never went out of his way into trying to establish relationships with fellow Digimon, thinking that everyone thought the same as him: a waste of data that shouldn't have existed in the first place. That was course until he met Eris in that dumpster. She was the first Dgimon in his life to see him as more than that, and now she was in danger. He wasn't about to lose everything again, not by a longshot. Gritting his teeth after remembering his harsh childhood, and the fact that the mon who showed love to him for the first time was hurting, an orange aura appeared around him. Finally seeing NeoDevimon and Eris trading blow with their claws, he clenched his fist and jumped up, ready to get between their clash before the two could hurt each other more. "DON'T YOU DARE LAY ANOTHER FINGER ON MY ERIS!" his voice changed to a more deeper, echoing tone. The Spadamon was suddenly surrounded by a orange light, digital code started to swarm all around him. The small lion's body shifted to become even bigger, much larger and muscular. Around his face, additional hair sprouted forming a longer, more wild mane on his face. His color stayed intact, with clothing like black pants, a collar with a blue gem, and three belts materializing on his left hand. His eyes showed more seriousness, but were overshadowed with raw emotions. Without a second to waste, before the two could slash each other, he extended both of his arms between the two and projected a barrier, blocking the two's attacks in the process. Kitt evolved to Leomon (White) through sheer emotion.
Kitt uses Pride Barrier to block both Eris's and Dio's attack, knocking Dio back while taking reduced damage from Eris. - Pride Barrier: Forms a temporary barrier around the user that deflects attacks launched at him. Knock by those up to Champion that attempts to attack him with melee strikes. Reduces damage from Ultimates by 50%. Can block up to three attacks. Cooldown is three post.

The Black WarGrowlmon-X hit the barrier like a run away freight train, cracks spiderwebbed across the shield from the force of the impact as the wall of light groaned buckling inwards under the force. The data of the shield hissing and burning where the Dragon's claws had sunk into it a foot leaving her massive fist nearly curled around the White Leomon's own hand. Until it gave with a crack and a spray of light inertia carrying the strike through as blue eyes locked onto the Leomon's face recognition flashing in those cerulean orbs as the Black WarGrowlmon that was Eris turned. Tucking their claws in a desperate effort not to impale her best friend as she reared back feet skidding as she dug her heels into the slide desperation mingling with power as like the shield her form seemed to snap. Shattering into a billion pieces black as night as the red glow of the Digital Hazard dimmed and the terrified dragon took the only option her rattled mind would give her. She could not impale Kitt upon her claws if she lacked claws with which to do so and with a desperate plea that she not be cursed to kill her friend her appearance changed. The digimon that crashed into Kitt, sending them tumbling to the ground, was no longer the massive hulking monster of a dragon, but something new. Something different. Her red armored chest heaving for breath through fanged teeth where she was perched atop him, her fists driven worryingly deep into the earth on either side of his head. Yet the eyes the peered down at him from that helmeted face decked out for war were his friends. Clear now of fury and only holding fear for his own safety rather then rage. "Kitt. . . ?" The Blitz Greymon wheezed out breathless and terrified, the sun glinting off her crimson armor, redder then fire, redder then blood, but apparently able to get redder still as her eyes trailed down his chest and realization hit her of their compromising position causing her cheeks to brighten with a flaming blush.

Much like Eris, the NeoDevimon couldn't do much but stagged backwards as the shield repelled his attack, leaving a rather dumbfounded Dio to look in sheer confusion at the white Leomon that was now standing between him and Eris.
Yet even before the new arrival reffered to the BlackWarGrowlmon as "My Eris", Dio had already figured out he was looking at the same Spadamon from a moment ago, though obviously in a significantly taller and imposing form.
"...kid?" Even against what he had just told him, even against the real chance of dying without even getting anything accomplished the Spadamon had thrown caution to the wind and managed to find the strenght to not only digivolve, but getting in the middle and stop the fight dead on its tracks.
As much as Dio hated to admit it, he had nothing but respect for Kitt now, this type of stunt took some serious courage. But courage alone wouldn't get him off the hook, as they still had to deal with Eris, right?
Well, not exactly, as through a quick chain of events that not even Dio understood fully the previously feral dragon had changed into a slightly less vicious form, and was now standing on top of a downed Kitt. But much to Dio's surprise there was not a hint of aggression in between the two, nothing but a rather...admittedly awkward moment of realization for Eris.
But Dio cared little for that, all he cared was that things had finally calmed down. Just in time too, his form could barely keep itself together for any longer. At long last he'd exhale a long sigh of relief, before unceremoniously falling to his rump as a gentle light covered his entire being. Not long after and he woul be back to his usual impmon self, though now far more battered and bruised from all the recent fighting.
"Tch, took you long enough kid." Dio said while rubbing his hand on the back of his own neck, trying to ease the pain he still felt from that starting tail whip. He was still glad nobody had been around to see that part, he certainly wouldn't be able to live it down for a good while. "I had things under control but your assistance is...appreciated." He would add, clearly lying to preserve whatever was left of his pride, but also to give credit where it was due. Kitt might had just saved both of them, and there was no walking around it.
And he would have probably said more, but in all honesty he was just...too sore and tired to care anymore. "Don't mind me I'll...just rest for a bit." With that said? He would simply lie down with his back against the ground, catching his breath while he let the other two to their own devices.

When Ophelia saw Kitt dart into the fray, she was damn-near ready to throw down as well - even against a pair of Ultimates, despite being a Rookie who had yet to even consider reaching Champion - at least, until she saw Kitt reach that very level, changing into a Leomon..! The form brought a sense of awe and interest out of her - considering the similarities between this form and her father's own Panjyamon form. And that wasn't even considering the fact that he was more than willing to jump into the fight, and put up a barrier around himself between both Eris and Dio! Dio seemed to have been staggered back in the process - though Eris shredded thru the barrier a bit more easily.
But before Kitt could be injured too badly, it seemed that Eris had made a split-second decision to change into another form - one that Ophelia couldn't quite recognize, let alone figure out if it was another Ultimate form, or something else entirely! She seemed to have lost a lot of her rage in the process of such - only seeming more concerned or anxious than anything, though Ophelia didn't notice the flusteredness over the position the two would end up in as Eris toppled over atop the Leomon. All Ophelia knew, was that Eris was starting to chill out - and that Kitt had done something pretty damn badass. "Hell yeah, Kitt!" She'd call to him, as she came onto the scene proper. "That was damn cool!"
Her tail swished excitedly as she glanced between Dio - who seemed to be ready to pass out on the spot, judging by how he flopped back to rest - and then Kitt and Eris. That was when she realized that, ah... Right, shit... She should probably talk to Eris, once the dragon had a second. "..." Ophelia scratched the back of her head a little as she fell quiet, trying to find her words whilst Kitt and Eris did their thing; though she never really was the charismatic wordsmith type. Hell, the fact that she was trying to think it over at all was great lengths, given how impulsive she tended to be - and how she tended to speak or act before she thought. "Hey, uhm.. Eris?" She'd ask gently, sitting down on the grass, as she called to the dragoness to get her attention.
"I'm sorry that I upset ya n shit. I was just a little over-excited over seeing someone like me - I wasn't fighting him, just... Playing around, Like I sometimes did with my siblings, but I got a little overenthusiastic about it was all." She began, glancing aside as she ran a hand thru her mane to ease her nerves - which, said nerves were making her tail quiver and puff up. "The rival shit? It wasn't a joke, I was 10/10 down to be a rival to you - but what I had thought to myself then was that I helped you grow into a Rookie, so we'd both be on even footing. It just didn't seem fair if I tried to out-rival you while you were in-training, but that's also before I realized you could digivolve into a big honking dragon. What's that all about, by the way?"
"But anyways, uhm... I feel shitty over hurting your feelings like before, I didn't mean it, and... If you're still angry with me, you're more than free to kick my ass-" Ophelia seemed pretty serious about this, and in fact would steel herself in preparation for Eris possibly taking her up on it; looking the other in the eye. "Give me a good smack in the kisser or whatever, even as you are now, if you think it'll help things at all; I won't be angry." She'd promise; taking in a deep breath as she readied herself; she felt that letting Eris get at least one good punch in would be a decent sign that she was willing to try and at least accept the consequences. Albeit, that might've also been just Ophelia's impulsiveness leaking into her apology as well. Either way, she seriously did hope that she could make things up to Eris somehow.

Eris's first instinct was to run as she scrambled back onto her feet and off Kitt's chest as fast as she was able though her inexperience with her form making for an awkward flailing of limbs as she got to her feet and backed off. Doing her utmost best to try to fold in on herself as she wondered if it was possible to die of embarrassment as she eyed the destruction around them. The destruction she caused even as she barely registered Ophelia's apology. The female Spadamon's words only serving to make her feel worse as she swallowed down the shame the feeling clawing at her throat like drinking broken glass unable to meet her 'rival's' eyes.
"My core isn't...it's not stable. I have an unusual high capacity for data and flexibility when it comes to using it, but the trade-off is I'm too young to fully control it so my evolutions are...spontaneous," Eris explained voice barely rising above a whisper.
"I'm the one who should be apologizing. I shouldn't have lost my temper. I let my emotions turn me into a monster. I'm sorry," The Blitz Greymon spoke unable to meet any of her friends eyes though she did reach a claw out towards Dio. Warmth washing over him as she utilized one of her data chips to cast Regenerate upon him.
