[attr="class","xenica"]Dating. Yeah, that's something Xenica had never really been an expert at. Love was a gross emotion, one that never interested her in the slightest, and she definitely wasn't into any of that sappy crap. But here she was, waiting at a beach, waiting for somebody she had just been randomly hooked up with through an anonymous TamerNet post. She didn't know what he looked like, or anything about him, but here she was. The petite girl wore a simple black and blue floral dress, one that flowed down right before her knees. It has no sleeves, so her neon cloud and bullet tattoos were clearly visible upon her bare right arm. She didn't wear heels, but rather a comfortable pair of simple ballet flats, blue in color, of course. Her hair was down, rather than braided or tied up like she would usually do. After all, she spent a little effort looking good for this somewhat random occasion. Xenica sat upon a large rock on the beach. The sun would be setting soon, and no other humans or Digimon were around. It was sort of a cheap place to have a date, but she really didn't think this man would appreciate her very much in an environment where alcohol was at the ready. Here at least, they could talk, or whatever. Maybe he wouldn't be interested and she could just forget about this whole thing. That would be ideal, after all, her plans in this world didn't involve any romance. Marshal still wasn't sure why he was doing this. He would've been perfectly fine to sit at home and play some games or something while Coronamon went out for his date night with Bellamy, but somehow his Digimon partner managed to coerce him into going on a blind date. This definitely didn't rank highly on his list of preferred activities! However, the date was already set, and Marshal would never be the type to leave someone in the lurch like that. He did the best he could to get ready, and headed out to the beach.
For the first time in a while, Marshal had taken some time to make himself look good. His thick brown hair, typically unkempt, was longer than usual, so he took the time to style it back. He was also wearing one of his nicer outfits in the Digital World, a clean pair of jeans and a T-shirt underneath a black bomber jacket.
It was a beautiful night out on the beach as the sun began to set, and as he walked along the shore, he noticed a girl around his age with a shock of bright blue hair. The way she was dressed, it seemed that she was there for the same reason that he was.
At that exact moment, nerves began to overtake Marshal. He had never really been in a situation like this before. How could he just approach this girl and ask if she was the one he was looking for? "...Are you Xenica?" he asked. He hoped against hope that his tone didn't come across as strange, but he was nervous so he couldn't help it. He tried to give a pleasant smile as he spoke, but awaited a response.

[attr="class","xenica"]It seemed somebody had finally showed up. The mysterious stranger asked her a question, which solicited a response. " Yes. That's me." She turned around to face the voice, inspecting just who her blind date was. He was a taller man, well, it wasn't hard to be taller than Xenica, but regardless, he seemed to be as lost as what to do in this situation as she was. But still, he put effort into his appearance, and that meant a lot. At least he wasn't a sloppy mess. " So, uhm, like, I don't usually do this kind of stuff." Seriously? She had nothing better to say? All the people she had no problem bullying, all the people she had no problem lying to and manipulating, but here she was, in this situation, not knowing at all what to say or do. She felt vulnerable, which was definitely making her feel a bit nervous. " I guess, um, what's your name? You haven't told me yet." That was the right thing to ask, right? Of course it was. She would extract his name first, and then she would move onto the more critically damaging functions of romance. Like, maybe she would ask if he was hungry next, or maybe she would ask if he wanted to walk around town. Yeah, this wasn't so hard, was it?
