Since the spar had ended, Bezil had no more reason to be in his champion form so he simply devolved right back into his normal rookie Gumdramon form. Even though Shoutmon was worried about the kid, he seemed perfectly fine either way and thanked him for the spar. "Oh sure, it was no problem, Bezil! You're actually pretty strong..."
Bezil then began cheering about how he could fly as a champion, and he started explaining about how he had made plans during the battle, including a plan for if the spar was going to continue. He was expecting Shoutmon to use the Cloak and Dagger move again, so he would've counterattacked. "Yeah, I don't make plans as I battle. I just make it up on the spot, really. But if we did continue, I doubt that's how it would've gone."
Oh right, he can't hear me, Shoutmon thought as Bezil excused himself to go try and clear his hearing. It took about a minute, with the others awkwardly standing there, but eventually it worked and Bezil turned back around, bringing up a good point about having lunch.
Before Shoutmon could respond with a 'yes,' his stomach did that for him, growling loudly and embarrassing Shoutmon. "Heheh... I guess my belly answered you for me," the red dragon laughed as he sweatdropped. "But you're right, let's get some grub!" Shoutmon turned around to face Nin. "You want some too?"
"Thanks, but no thanks. I already had lunch and I should be going now. Until we meet again," Nin said before vanishing into thin air.
Now was time for lunch! The group walked back to their picnic spot as Adrian sorted out the various foods that they had packed. "Nice going, both of you! It was actually a fun fight to watch!"
