Were Mae a lesser mon, there really would have not been much hope towards evading such a skilled counterattack... but it was becoming clear to Messiah that Mae was no ordinary Digimon. The way the angelic figure managed to weave through Atho, Rene, and Por's three-way assault was admirable... though it would not afford her the mercy to be ignored by the BlackJesmon.
He wasted no time attempt to dodge the destructive beam of energy that was fired his way... or at least would have dodged had the Rasielmon not redirected the intense energy a diffrent path. Before he could even realize the trick, Messiah felt the raw power of said attack burn at his side, tossing him like a ragdoll dozens of meters. Several of the crosses had been destroyed in the assault, the BlackJesmon digging his blade-like feet into the ground to keep standing as his familiars darted to his side.
"... Hmm. A feisty lady." he dully mused, Por's form wavering somewhat... he eyeing some of the Digicores that had been freed from their prisons as said figments of data floated freely... before black chains that erupted from the earth pulled them back down.
He would not let his work be destroyed. All of these cores... He needed them. He needed them so that he could help them transcend their weak forms, he himself included... but alas, some people refuse to be saved. He gazed at Mae and Flower off in the distance, squinting as he soon dashed at a blinding speed once more to close said distance.
Flower frankly wanted to help, but was she really even able to...? There would be nothing she could do to help Mae as the BlackJesmon slid his blades across the soil, blue flames erupting from the ground as the environment was slowly turned into a hellscape. "Dance, tainted soul! Deus Infernus! the Mega yelled valorously, engaging aiming his blades directly at the angel... his familiars puppeting said movements.
Messiah took a heavy blow from Knowledge Stream, he going back on the offense with Deus Inferus with Athe, Rene, and Por.
Deus Inferus - Wreathed in blue flames, BlackJesmon and his familiars strike at his foes skillfully with their blades in a rapid series of attacks, each cut burning at the very soul of the victim. Deals more damage with more familiars and is more difficult to fully defend against. (Cooldown: 1 Turn)

Ah, her trickery with the portals paid off. It was by no means a decisive strike, but it was a strike nonetheless. The Ophanim wasted no time in continuing her assault, flying down and towards Messiah as the image of a similar Digimon, yet one far more sinister transposed itself over the Ophanim before it shattered like glass. The circles on her arms--hell, her arms as a whole gained the claws of a Raguelmon. What came next was rather...dicey, to put it simply. As Messiah moved with blinding speed, Mae moved to meet him head-on. Was that wise in this particular form? Perhaps not. Yet, she had claws and she was unafraid to use them. Messiah aimed his blades towards her, and Mae aimed to sink those corruptive claws of hers into the hide of the BlackJesmon. The armaments of the former? They struck true. They struck very true, being the first cases of 'actual' damage that Mae had sustained in this entire fight. And the Ophanim burned. Fire lapped at her frame as though she were dry wood. Yet, the question had to be asked. What of her own attack, basic as it was?
Relevant Passives: Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess. As such, Mae has the ability to divine a potentially infinite number of futures, depending on the level she's at. There are, however, limits to her foresight. For one, the lower the level, the more muddied, limited, and opaque the visions will be. The higher, the clearer. Furthermore, in combat, this is only really applicable as a way to warn herself and others of various attacks. Whether she can dodge them or not even with this is entirely on her. Should she successfully dodge an attack she had a vision of, the chances she can dodge the next one are lower. Basically she can’t spam this unless she wants the hurt.
Elemental Connection: Every three turns, Mae can apply one of five elements to her attack, changing it’s properties and/or appearance to suit the opponent she’s facing. They go as follows: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Light.
Instinctual Supplement: Fatebreaker ties into this passive--Her foresight is amplified greatly in this form, enabling Mae to have above-average reaction times to a LOT of things. Basically, she’s greater at dodging and/or countering attacks than a good deal of her other forms.
Mae empowers herself with Spatial Claw and rushes at Messiah, taking Deus Infernus HEAD ON as she tries to shank him with a basic attack! Spatial Claw [Loaded Technique - Plot]: Through her view of fate, Rasielmon calls forth the power of a 'Raguelmon', her persona from another dimension. The bestial form appears briefly as a transparent image over her form, before shattering, leaving her with the devastatingly long claws of a Raguelmon. This greatly increases the power of her physical strikes, and grants them corrupting and slashing damage. Three post duration, Two post cooldown. Buffs: Spatial Claw: 0/3 Cooldowns: Knowledge Stream: 1/4 Spatial Relocation: 1/4 Fatebreaker: 1/3 Spatial Claw: Waiting...

The feline woman was strong. No ordinary angel at that... they fought with a grace and fury like that of a raging beast. It shall be a challenge to slay her, but slay her he shall! Even as both Megas went on the offense, the BlackJesmon was nimble; the knight able to collide his blades with the ophanim's claws to defend against the blow... pain surged through him, but the obsidian royal knight remained stalwart and instead pushed back Mae as he lept back to put distance between the two.
This woman was the first one he could honestly say was worth his time... All other Luminite had been easy foes, but this one? She held a valor unlike any other. "Tell me angelic child. Why do you hold a temper most fierce against me...?" the knight questioned, pointing his blade ominously at the Rasielmon.
It was actually Flower who was willing.., the HippoGriffomon had a gentle soul, one that ultimately did not want any part of this horrible ordeal. It was clear to her that Messiah was doing awful things, but she wanted to believe there was some reason in him... some shred of humanity that could be reached out. "Can't you tell what you are doing?! You're hurting all these people!"
"Hurt? No, child... this is a trial. A trial by fire so that they too can join a perfect world." the knight surprisingly spoke back. "Only the blessed will be able to endure this and join the new heaven I shall make... from which I shall lead them to an eternal salvation. I cry for their suffering, but they will be born again stronger and more virtuous than they were in this life." the BlackJesmon solemnly spoke, shaking his head.
Naive children.
"Please, mister Messiah... You need to stop this! You don't know what you are talking about! None of us want to fight... So please, just let everyone go!" the Ultimate level cried, desperate to believe that there was maybe some hope reaching out to him, but would he? He at least was pausing to listen, which was a start.
Messiah attempts to guard against Spatial Claw, taking reduced damage and getting another stack for Chivalrous. He is currently idle, listening to Flower.

Why the actual hell would this monster question why she was so mad? This guy killed innocent people and chained their cores to literal crosses! "You should know why. The answer to that question's all around you, you wretch." The Ophanim snarled, holding up her claws as she was ready to pounce once more. Until Flower had called out. What sort of trial by fire ends in this? WHY? "This isn't how people become stronger, it's just a setback for them! Nobody wins like this! What are you even doing?" And above all else? Why did Mae have an increasingly bad feeling about this? Her foresight had gone quiet at the moment, her earlier display having taxed it some... Of course, it was clear to see that she just wanted this ordeal to end already. Did they really need to be here?

"As a matter of fact dear... I both do and do not." Messiah coldly spoke as he shook his head at Mae's hostile words. He both understood the girl's anger, but in his own way of thinking... he saw his actions as just. The tears of the many would be outweighed by the joy they would experience when this all was over... but at the same time, Flower's words had not gone unnoticed.
... Was he wrong? He had been told time and time again his actions were madness, but this was the first time the Mega actually faltered. He gazed at the crosses around him, the still agonizing sounds of distorted data sentenced to a purgatory by him surrounding him.
"... Perhaps I am wrong..." the BlackJesmon spoke as he tilted his vision downward... dwelling on the nature of his actions.
For a moment, Flower actually seemed to let her guard down... her trusting and altruistic nature shining forth under the belief that her words had perhaps opened up the BlackJesmon. He had done alot of awful things... but this didn't mean it couldn't be all rectified. "I know it is not easy coming this far... but please, there is a chance to turn this all around." the Hippogriffomon softly spoke, gazing at Mae a bit hopefully... conveying that maybe this was going to work out.
She didn't know what Mae might see, before it is too late.
"... Perhaps." Messiah mumbled, for a moment stepping forward with his head held heavy... before raising a blade upward, a giant obsidian digizoid blade erupting from the ground under Flower and eviscerating the chimera's upper and lower halves in two."... Perhaps not." the BlackJesmon coldly spoke as the Ultimate level gasped in complete shock, still somehow clinging to a thread of life with half their body just... cleaved clean off. "I have come too far to be dissuaded. I will complete my holy mission, and not even the divines shall stop me." the Mega triumphantly spoke, pointing his blades and familiar at Mae.
The end is here!
Messiah has used Brave Blader against Flower, dealing severe damage to her and tearing her front and back halves apart.
Brave Blader - BlackJesmon points at an area, a giant blade imbued with the power of darkness erupting from the ground to cleave at anyone unfortunate enough to be in its path. Deals additional damage as BlackJesmon is injured. (Cooldown: 2 Turns)

What did he mean by that? He did and didn't? Mae gritted her teeth as she tried to understand what the hell was going through this freak's mind. Yet, as Flower tried to appeal to whatever humanity(?) Messiah had left in him, Mae was suddenly wracked with what might have been the more...lurid of any vision that she had suffered up to this point. A colossal blade of obsidian erupting from the ground, cleaving her friend in twain. Mae didn't see this not once, but twice, and as she snapped back to reality and called out towards the chimera, "Flower, move!" It happened. The Rasielmon watched as life was (to her) snuffed out in one fell swoop. An innocent one that simply wished for the best in life. Both here and outside. There was already anger stewing within the Ophanim. It was vile, it was wretched, and it certainly was close to boiling over. Exploding, even. Like a nuclear reactor. Or a rookie who just witnessed his tamer be assaulted by an angel he considered a friend. The moment Flower's remains hit the ground? Mae...Something in her just snapped. "You...You're going to r̸e̵g̷r̷e̷t̴ ț̸͉̑͋ĥ̷͜á̸̡͌ṯ̸̯͘,̶̙̣͂͝ ̵͙̀͠y̷͕̓o̶̪̾ų̸̝͋͘ ̴͓̖̀̇ṗ̸͕̮̋i̶͚͈͠e̶̫̟͋c̷̟̈́ȩ̶̖̈́͂ ̶̖̑̈́o̸̥͋f̶̺́̓ ̶̠͊t̷̘̘͂r̴̛̦̎a̶͖͝s̵̜͝h̸͇̣͆͊.̶̳̏" The angel was twitching, and her voice gave way from something vaguely human into a heinous, guttural hiss. A beam of gray tore through one part of the angel as she promptly plunged a claw into her own skull, and yanked downwards. What happened next? Well. To put things lightly? The Rasielmon tore itself apart, the dimension around her and the BlackJesmon swirling and cringing at what was to come. For a being that was best described as the antithesis to the omniscient angel that brought forth miracles had taken its place, ripping it's way out of the husk of the Rasielmon, and landing on all fours. It was gold, yet dull. It's wings a dark gray. And her eyes? Why, not a shred of empathy was to be found there. The rage of a Rasielmon had been locked away. In its place? Raguelmon. Destruction was what this digimon often resigned itself to. Such was all it was ever capable of. It rose to it's feet and glowered at the meat. "̵̞̊͌͒̽Ȉ̵̢͉ͅf̷̬̋̒͆ ̵͍̠̻̟̩̉͒n̵͓͖̏͋̊o̷̻̯̺͚̓͂̚͝ț̵̢͌ ̵͚̖̉ͅt̴̼̮̋́̒̃h̸̰̐e̷̢̪̼̹̎̃ ̸̫̹̰͗͝͝d̶̩̬̹̃̾̎̒i̴͚͇̹̳̾̃͛͜͝v̸͍͖̙̝̠͑̇̊̑̕ȉ̷̢̻̯̖̃̆̉̐ͅṇ̷̔̽́̉ê̴̝̞͐̉͠s̸̡̤͛͒̄,̵̡̢̫̹͖͝ ̴̮͚̄̒t̸̟̺̜̓͘͜ḧ̷̖̪́͑̊̕ë̴̮́̐͆̂͝n̸̙͒̔̾ ̶̰͉̒͐͆̓́p̸͈̹͈̃̋̊͜e̸̡̱̓̋̔r̷̤͎͔̳͇̈́̀̃̕͝h̷̛̦̯͚͆̀̎̚a̴͎̗̫̦̥̍p̴̼̘̤̓̾̓s̸̡̼̗̉ ̷̟̉a̶̡̭̋̃͑̾ ̶̮̞͊f̵̟͆́͂̕͠i̴̟̟͚̓̐̽̕è̴̮̳̮ñ̵̛̪̻̥͚͍̎d̵̡̛͙͎̖̮̔.̴̨͉̹͓͔͆"̸̯̠͎̲̿̑̏ The beast suddenly lunged for Messiah, before it whipped it's arm forward, the purple claws suddenly shifting into a trail of light not dissimilar to the light emanated by the blades of a Gaioumon. This was the Kikurin. As in the trails of light that cut whatever they touch to ribbons. This thing was CAPABLE of using it and it was heading right for the dead mon walking.

Rasielmon gives way to Raguelmon. All passives and buffs save for Fatebreaker have been discarded. Mae attacks Messiah with Kikurin, attempting to lash him across the whatever she can goddamn hit. Kikurin [RAM Upgrade]: Raguelmon converts her claws into a whiplike blade of energy reaching up to 90 feet in length. This whip is capable of slicing through just about everything including barriers. Two turn cooldown. Cooldowns: Fatebreaker: 3/3 Kikurin: 0/2

It really had been too late for the Rasielmon to intervene in the seemingly death of the Hippogriffomon... and like a domino effect, there was nothing that anyone could do to stop Mae's ensuing rampage as she turned that rage into power... an insidious darkness that swallowed the angel as her form shifted to a dark reflection of herself.
Messiah didn't so much as bat an eye to his callous murder of Flower... she was just an accessory to this pitiful attempt at ending this tirade. The Raguelmon on the otherhand...? Now that had his interest. "So the angel was nothing more but a foul beast." Messiah coldly spoke... though even he would have to sacrifice potential taunting time as the she-beast aggro'd onto him, he forced into a defensive stance...
Such recklessness shall be her undoing! All he would have do is defend against those whips of light... then he could move for a counter-attack! Atho, Rene, and Por moved into a barrier formation as he rushed forward... confident that his own skill would keep him safe.
He underestimated her.
Despite the familiar's best efforts, there was nothing they could do fend against the attack; Messiah himself forced to move out of the way... Por was not so lucky, the familiar eviscerated in two as the other familiars went back to his side. Such strength... This was nothing like the fight she was putting up earlier?!
No matter... he shall not be dissuaded! The dragon knight rushed at the Raguelmon, attempting to juke past the Kikurin nimbly as his blades burned in those same blue flames as before... this time, only he able to launch an attack at Mae.
Messiah attempts Weltgeist, but Kikurin breaks past his defenses and destroys Por. Messiah is forced to go on the offensive and strike with Deus Infernus.
Weltgeist - Atho, Rene, and Por flawlessly parry almost any single Mega-level or lower attack directed at BlackJesmon (Super Mega for reduced damage), striking back with a strong counterattack against Melee attacks. While it has no limit to the amount of attacks it blocks, each successive Mega or higher one it blocks increases the cooldown by 1. It loses effectiveness as the familiars vanish. (Cooldown: 3 Turn)
Cooldowns: Brave Blader - 1 Turns Weltgeist - 3 Turns Deus Inferus - 1 Turn
Effects: Chivalrous: 2 stacks

The Jesmon had moved out of the way, which was rather unfortunate. The Raguelmon, of course, in her rage, gave chase. Fire coated his blades as he struck out for her, and...As though she didn't miss a beat? The Raguelmon paused and ducked under the flame-wreathed swing. Though she had cast aside the mantle of Rasielmon, Mae still had her foresight. The same foresight that had been a double-edged blade this entire time. She wasn't really aiming to send him anywhere in particular with the force of the blow, but those crosses...If she could take the fight closer to there? Implements with which to beat a dragon senseless with. Perfect.

Fate’s Executor: Raguelmon’s senses are heightened in this form, allowing for quicker reaction times and overall improved agility in combat.
The Raguelmon reveals it can utilize the Fatebreaker passive to not only see the Deus Infernus coming, but duck under it. It then attacks Messiah with a Love Machine-empowered Form Taranis, attempting to slam him in the direction of a cross. Form Taranis: Raguelmon’s main mode of attack, the angel rushes for it’s foe before it attempts to strike with its claws, spikes, or hands. This attack is delivered with extreme prejudice. Messiah was losing the ability to take this fight as nonchalantly as he was earlier... Prior, the Rasielmon was little more but a mild challenge. This unholy incarnation of that devil cat though...? This time, he was facing a worthy advesary. Their reflexes were unnatural, a deadly combination with their brute strength... Messiah scowled as the Raguelmon managed to evade his blades, he realizing he was left open!
Not here, demon!
Though unable to react with a real attack, the BlackJesmon managed to attempt a block with his blades against the Raguelmon's attempt at mauling him... a searing pain flowing into his body just from her mere touch. Still, it was more than enough to least prevent the brunt of her attack... the Royal Knight's eyes glowing as suddenly a shockwaves formed between both; sending both parties back forcefully.
The knight skidded across the ground, burying a blade into the ground to halt his own knockback before glaring at the Raguelmon. "You will not win... Give up!" the draconian man boasted... suddenly, data surging around his person.
It wasn't an evolution, but he shall adapt! As if almost in mimickry of the Raguelmon's own stature, the BlackJesmon's own muscular mass increased... almost painfully so, but with a resounding blade dug into the ground creating a small crater where he stood, it was clear that the BlackJesmon had powered up!
Messiah was forced to guard, taking some damage from both Form Taranis and Love Machine. Chivalrous has activated, creating a shockwave that causes knockback and reduces defenses around Messiah, he also flung back by the force of Form Taranis, though is healed somewhat. Messiah has used OS Generics, gain additional attack power!
[PASSIVE] Chivalrous - For each time BlackJesmon counters or defends against incoming attacks, he gains a Chivalrous counter. When he would reach three Chivalrous counters, he creates a shockwave that inflicts knockback around surrounding foes and reduces their defenses by 33% for three turns, he also healing for a moderate amount. The counters drop to zero, and then this ability will require an additional counter above three to activate a second time (and so on).
OS Generics - Temporarily rewriting his own code, BlackJesmon enhances his own combat abilities to mirror that of a foe. Based on the foe, BlackJesmon receives a large buff (about 50% increase) towards his physical strength, magical offense, defense, or speed depending on what his foe most specializes in. If there isn't an exact specialty of the target, then he merely receives a small all-around stat boost (12%). Lasts for 3 Turns. (Cooldown: 3 Turns)

The BlackJesmon had no idea what can of worms he had wrenched open with bisecting Flower. As Mae's claws made contact with his blades, he could quite plainly see there was little more than bloodlust in those dead, green eyes. The shockwave blew the unholy...creature right back, it landing on all fours as it glowered towards Messiah, rising to two feet and beginning a slow walk forward. "D̷̢͇͓̉ō̶̤͇͚̿͐ ̶̛̮̹̒y̷̜͆́͠o̷̯̥͝ṵ̵̘̖̎̔̃ ̸̧̈́n̶̲̘̾̓̕o̶̳̩̔̿̚t̵̬͌ͅ ̶͇͍̄k̴͔͚͌n̴̡̘͗̍ȯ̸͖͇͕̒w̸̖̠̌̀̌ ̶̠̜͔̈w̵̧͉̐h̸̰̆̓͛o̴̙̐̐ ̵̭̽̆̾ť̵̨͓͇h̴̗̲͔͗̿͊ȇ̶̢͍͗ ̶̢̫̳̿́͘f̷̗̻͠u̸̪͓̔͝ć̴̤̦̫̈́͊k̷̨͖̹͗̇ ̶͖̪̮̓I̸̖͉͌͜ ̵̯̱̆̓͌ä̵̡͓̋͝m̸̫̉?̶̨́ ̵̖̤̰̃Ì̶͖͓̀ ̸͇̙̏̉̍a̶̝̹͐m̵̬͓̝̑͐ ̸̨̩͕̽͝Ṁ̸̪̠̇͜a̸͇̩̓e̶̜̞̊n̸̜͔̓a̴͕̎ͅd̸͎͋̉̊,̸̘̗͖̽̌ ̶̇̑͜͠d̷̺̰̭̀ą̴̝̺̄ṷ̴̀͐̂g̴̹͈̈́̇h̷̞̪̠̋t̶̨̮̆̏̿ͅĕ̸͍̔̚͜r̷͖̅̍̐ ̸̩͊͐͠ͅȏ̵̯̪̋f̴͓̄ ̵̟͊͝K̸̪̄̈́̽a̷̰͑̉̃p̶̯͔̜͆̾p̴̱̺̒̍y̸̖̠̍͒̕͜.̷͎̰̋̊͌ ̸̻͐̅̅M̸̢̕e̴̘͖͛̉̏?̶̝͖̀͂ ̵̹̑̈́͂ͅG̸̹̞̺͒į̷̝̒͝v̴̾ͅë̶͓́̌ ̴̧͕̅͊u̵̻͍̳̍͆ṗ̸̭̟̭̈́̇?̸͕̺̏̈́ ̸̜̼̽͐̄P̷̝̲̜̎̋͆l̷̎͜é̴̢̤̱ä̸̠͈́̕ͅs̵̢̭̐̄̏e̶̗̟͠,̴̥̞̌̍ ̴̪͂͝ỷ̸̨̳͚̉ǫ̴͍̟͒̈u̵͕̰͕͒ ̷̨̈w̴͓̻͐̾͒ì̷̙͊́l̴̗̻̀͋l̸͕̝͚̆͝ ̵̨̳́̃̐͜n̴̹̅ơ̵̼̯̬̓͑t̴̙́ ̵͈͚͐f̴̩͎̼̓ì̸̼̱͈̀n̴͙̺͇͑̚ḍ̷̥̇̂̑͜ ̵̘̀͂͐v̶̡͙͑i̶̡͎̙̔c̶͖̏́t̶̠̓̿́o̸͍̺̎́͋r̷̛̞̓͠y̶̭̿̈́͠ ̷̮̹͋t̷̖́͋̚o̴̳̩̞̅͋ḑ̸͑à̸̮͚͜y̷͎̮̏́̀.̶̠̖͠͠" And then, Jesmon Christ Mode, Messiah just bulked up like he was on some sort of weird art site, or on one of those shows Wakako liked. The air around Mae began to grow distorted, as though there was an unbearable amount of heat radiating from her, before she herself gained a sickly green glow. She quickly swiped a hand in front of her, a tear in space itself forming as she leapt forth and through it, before she reappeared through a similar tear...just a bit above Messiah. Block this, asswipe. "Catastrophe Reactor!" And the air around her and Messiah was promptly saturated with a big, searing, green ball centered around Mae, the result of her gathering a bunch of energy up before she detonated it like a bomb.

Love Machine: Raguelmon, though angelic in nature, is a poisonous beast that blights ANYTHING she touches. All of her attacks have a corruptive property to them that can be amplified to double their damage every three turns.
Fate’s Executor: Raguelmon’s senses are heightened in this form, allowing for quicker reaction times and overall improved agility in combat.
Mae presses her assault, using a combination of Dimension Jumper and Catastrophe Reactor to close the distance between herself and Messiah before throwing out a big bang! Catastrophe Reactor: A combination of TWO attacks that generally do not belong to a Raguelmon, Raguelmon gathers energy from the atmosphere around her before she detonates it around her. This attack emanates enough power that the area around Mae is scorched black. Three turn cooldown. Dimension Jumper: Raguelmon, much like Rasielmon, can open portals, though hers are for more...offensive purposes than attack redirection. She’s able to use these portals to fire her attacks from another angle or to reposition herself so that she’s attacking the foe from a different point than originally thought, at the cost of increasing that attack’s cooldown as well as this move’s cooldown by one. Three turn cooldown, normally. Cooldowns: Kikurin: 2/2 Fatebreaker: 1/3 Form Taranis: 1/1 Love Machine: 1/3 Dimension Jumper: 0/4 Catastrophe Reactor: 0/4

Messiah was no longer attempting to simply toy with this demon before him... It was clear to him that this creature was beyond saving, and for the future of his new world; he would smite thee! "I do not... You're nothing but a demon to this world... Now, PERISH!" the dragon man screamed, rushing forward at the Raguelmon... only for her to vanish before his very eyes.
The Mega level immediately went on the defensive, expecting a counter attack from behind or his sides... he and his familiars had a near 180 degree sight of his entire surroundings, yet the beast was nowhere in sight. It was only as he caught a glimpse of the hulking shadow above him did he realize his error.
He immediately attempted to dash away from the blast radius of the incoming attack... but the catastrophic blast of energy that Mae unleashed was truly impossible to run from at this distance. In the end, he did what he had to... forming a defensive formation with Atho and Rene, he attempted his best to cushion the blow; but such an attack just really was too much for his familiars to handle. By the time the attack was over, all he had left was Rene while his blackened body wavered in a glitchy fashion from the severe damage he was taking. The landscape itself around them was desecrated as many of the crosses that held the captive cores were destroyed... alongside said cores, their data allowed to go free as the BlackJesmon's hold on this realm weaknened.
The would-be royal knight had a fire in his eyes as his temper flared... he soon jumping upward to attempt another go at Deus Inferus... but with the lack of two his familiars, it was becoming increasingly clear he was being put to his limits.
Messiah attempts to guard against the blast from Catastrophe Reactor (gaining a counter for Chivalrous), but his attempts only keep him from taking a direct blow at the cost of Atho's life. He rushes at Mae with Deus Inferus
[PASSIVE] Chivalrous: For each time BlackJesmon counters or defends against incoming attacks, he gains a Chivalrous counter.
Effects: Chivalrous: 1/4 counters OS Generics (Attack Buff): 2 Turns
Cooldowns: Weltgeist: 1 Turn Deus Inferus: 1 Turn

It was strange how the two had such similar opinions towards each other. Messiah viewed the monster that may or may not have had Mae within her as a demon that needed to be purged. The monster viewed this pestilent dragon as a miserable plague that needed to be wiped from the faced of the earth before it made whatever else it touched even more worthless than a red lizard. The radius of this attack was vast, too vast for the wretch to outrun. So? He sacrificed a familiar. The Raguelmon landed on her feet, hunched over and leapt back and away from the Deus Inferus, the blades from the Jesmon and the remaining familiar skewering her fur and revealing a metallic silver underneath what was otherwise orange fur. Raguelmon's right arm split up into an array of eldritch-looking limbs with a number of eyes upon them, eyes that flashed before several lasers fired forth at Messiah! It would be very bad for him if he got hit by these, though such should go without saying.
Fate’s Executor: Raguelmon’s senses are heightened in this form, allowing for quicker reaction times and overall improved agility in combat.
Mae managed to dodge the worst of the Deus Inferus, and she attacks with Distortion Line! Distortion Line: Raguelmon shifts her arm into a writhing, metallic mass of tentacles with eyes. They’re five in number, and the eyes on them fire a plethora of lasers that are capable of distorting whatever they come into contact with. This can translate into parts of an opponent being twisted, turned inside out, as well as burned. Two turn cooldown. Cooldowns: Fatebreaker: 2/3 Love Machine: 2/3 Dimension Jumper: 1/4 Catastrophe Reactor: 1/4 Distortion Line: 0/2

Even as Messiah felt like he was giving it his all, the fallen angel seemed to always be able to keep up with him. Realistically, she should have been dead now... but what kept her going?! Even as he assaulted her with his blades, she was able to keep the blades from sinking directly into her. WHY did this monster refuse to DIE?!
His frustrations clouded his judgement... he could look aback with horror as the Raguelmon's arm split into contorting tendrils that moved in impossible ways, covered in demonic oculars that gazed directly at him.
Not even a second later, a brutal onslaught of lasers cut through his being... immeasurable pain inflicted upon him as parts of his body warped and was mangled to unrecognizability; seared in a manner that caused fragments of his data to peel off his wireframe body. His increased bulk had faded, he weakly attempting to push himself off the ground that he was laying on as he gazed at Mae with hatred. "This... Is not over... I will come back... I will be REBORN... and I will cleanse this world and its souls of all sins..." the BlackJesmon weakly mumbled, though even how his vision was blurring.
Messiah has taken severe damage from Distortion Line and has been downed.

What Raguelmon had said earlier had come back to bite Messiah in the ass, evidently. He clearly did not know who he was fighting, nor who his foe had been descended from. The warrior that encompassed half of the fallen angel was never known to give up very easily.
The beast's arm coalesced back into it's metallic, spiked form as it sauntered towards the downed Messiah. Was it truly so wise to claim you would be reborn to a beast of a species known for consuming their prey? The silver Raguelmon began to snicker, a wicked little chuckle that coalesced into a chortle, before escalating into a raucous, booming, and distorted laughter as she neared the downed Jesmon-lookalike. What a GRAND and INTOXICATING innocence!
Yet, she had only one thing to say as her stinger plunged down into it's target. "You vile, disgusting piece of draconic scum. Who the fuck do you think you are? You think you're -special?- Nobody loves you. You're a horrible disgrace of a warrior, and even Yggdrasil himself wishes you had never hatched. Why else would he send ME here? Your existence is meaningless. Hopeless. And you will die here. COLD and alone, surrounded by the unflinching terror of the night." The beast rasped as, in an ironic echo to a long time ago, in the sphere of a Sephirotmon...
A member of the Meicoomon species drank.
A member of the Meicoomon species imbibed upon the forbidden data of another...

Messiah was in the weirdest sense an optimist... He had the utmost faith in both his purpose and skills, yet here he was... before a fiendish beast that had seeked to dismantle his dreams for a perfect world shattered that belief. He defiantly gazed up at the Raguelmon visage even as he slowly began to lose the strength to do so... a will that vanished quickly as he felt the she-devil's stinger stab into his back as she taunted him viciously.
She was wrong. Messiah refused to believe that this would be his demise... yet here he was, gazing into the emerald eyes of a monster that had the guts to try and paint him as the villain... an act that caused the BlackJesmon's pain expression to twitch.
If he was to die... she would fall with him!
With his last bit of strength, the dragon knight managed to call forth Rene one last time to stab into Mae's abdomen... but this was not the do-or-die attack Messiah wished it was. It might have been able to cause some damage (unfortunately for him, nothing fatal), but that last effort sapped the last remaining vigor from Messiah as he collapsed for good... his body turned into data.
With its master gone... the world around Mae collapsed. An illusionary realm that lost substance; Mae finding herself in the now ruined church she and Flower originally came from... alone.
Messiah attempts one last stab at Mae before being deleted.
