The mall was bustling, busier than usual due to it being a holiday weekend, a four day one to be precise, so everyone who worked office jobs or was in college -- anyone who didn't work in the retail industry -- had a nice long weekend to enjoy. The celebrate the long weekend, and also to capitalize on it, many stores had sales for that weekend only. Fifty percent prices. Seventy-five percent off prices. Justice was in his element, darting from one shop to another, expertly examining their merchandise before deciding if what the store had to offer was good enough for him or not. "Justice, slow down." Vee called him from his D-Watch, who was cutting in front of other people in the shoe store to see the kind of shoes they were selling. "I have to be quick, or all the good bargains for these shoes will be gone!" Justice argued, not looking at his watch from the shoes he was surveying. His phone was clutch in his hand while he held the shoe in the other. They were the Air Jordan VI's: the shoes that Michael Jordan wore when he won his first championship with the Chicago Bulls. He couldn't find the shoes anywhere since basketball wasn't a popular sport here in Japan whereas in America, but now he finally found them, and they were the last ones in stock. "Ohh snap these are the ones!""You humans and your novelty for clothing." Gummy sighed. "It's called fashion, Gummy. "Justice retorted. "Learn or weep."After buying the shoes for a good price and walking out of the outlet happy, Justice's D-Watch whirred noisily on his wrist. He raised his arm, only to then look up to see a nearby ATM suddenly dispensing money; thunderous footsteps was heard, shaking the ground beneath the floor. Over the footsteps rose screams, then the sight of people running, scattering like cattle, running away from fireballs, and thrown cars. Putting the bag of shoes in his backpack, still staring at the commotion, Vee and Gummy materialized out of the D-Watch, despite the fact that they were in the front open, with some people stopping around them. The two were waiting for Justice's call. This was a situation neither of them can ignore.
"Well, suddenly this day just got a whole lot exciting." Gummy said, turning to his brother. "Ready to bash some heads?"
"You know it!" Vee replied, playfully punching his brother on the shoulder.
"Now's not the time to treat this lightly." Seeing that other people stopped to stare at his Digimon. He sighed, so much for incognito. "Let's go." The two brothers nodded, running down the two flights of stairs and stopping at the doors that led out of the mall. There were holes literally the outer interior of the building, with embers still burning. There was a hot wind, which made the tension even more nerve-racking. “ Baby Blaze!” The call came from above them, they looked up to see a volly of fireballs about to rain on them. Narrowly dodging the blast radius, the three of them quickly regroup. The attacker was now visible. “ Woah...”  Descending from the air was a Digimon that looked like a dragon, almost like Charizard Y from Pokémon. It scales were teal in color, with glowing red horns. It had a yellow “X” mark going across its snout. Instead with wings on its back, they were on its forearms, with three clawed fingers. Emblazoned on it’s chest was a Diamond shaped mark that glow red as well. It didn’t look like it noticed them yet, as his attention was watching the people flee. “ HAHAHA! Don’t go you stinking humans! The lightshow’s only getting started.” he said, going into a fit of laughter. It wouldn’t be long til the local authorities respond to this, but Justice didn't know that it may be responded by something even higher than the police... |

Agent Maria was quick to arrive on the scene. This really was a serious incursion. Fire in a shopping mall was no laughing matter, and a fire caused by a rogue digimon even more serious. As she entered the mall, she was slowed slightly by the crowd of terrified shoppers running in the opposite direction. She cursed, but had no choice but to gradually make her way through the near-stampede.
The fire alarms of the mall were blaring, and the PA system was ordering everyone to evacuate in an orderly manner. Well, when digimon were around, seems like something like that was a little difficult.
By the time the DATS agent arrived at the central scene of all the commotion, there already seemed to be someone there. A young man of African appearance was there, and at his sides were two small dragon digimon, a Veemon and a Gumdramon. And facing them was a Dracomon-X.
"Is that Jiro?" Blanc asked, currently located within Agent Maria's digivice.
"Can't be, Agent Tiger's on base currently" Maria replied. "Well then, Blanc, Noir, prepare for a battle, this one looks like he won't back down easily".
It would be a small while longer before Maria and her partners would reach the scene though.

As the dragon Digimon didn't notice all three of them yet, since he was busy laughing his non-existence pants off at the people evacuating, Justice's D-Watch activated, a small holographic screen forming slightly on his wrist.
"Dracomon X, a rookie dragon level Digimon. His appearance has been drastically altered due to being a carrier of the X-Antibody..." He paused for a second. He didn't know what the X-Anitbody was, but he assumed that it was something in the Digimon that made it more powerful. He continued. "The wings on his forearms allow it to not only fly for a short period of time, but it also allows him to whip up a gust of wind, allowing it's flame to reach long distances even if it doesn't hit its target. It's horns can also-"
"So basically, he's a tough customer?" Gummy interrupted, giving a big grin at the prospect of a fight.
"Pretty much." replied Vee.
Justice took a look around his surroundings, the mall was a mess, but it looks like everyone managed to evacuate the mall relatively unscathed. Now he knows why Adrian doesn't like coming to this mall. He took a sigh that signaled both relieve at the prospect of no innocents getting caught in the crossfire and disappointment at the fact that he won't be able to try out his new shoes for awhile; another typical day in the life of a Tamer.
"Hey jackass!" he shouted, taking a few steps forward to the Dracomon X, putting one hand on his waist. "If this is your idea of a prank, then your taste in comedy are horrible, my guy."
"Hmm?" The Dracomon X turned to face the three, particularly Justice. His eyes widened a bit in surprise, he thought all the humans had run away. "Oh, so it looks like there was a human here with a spine to bout. Good. Maybe you and your two runt Digimon can provide me some entertainment." He gave a sinister smile to the Tamer, which didn't fazed him in the slightest.
“Runts?!” Gummy shouted in anger, he was about to charge blindly at the Dragon Digimon, only for Vee to grab him by the back of his vest, restraining him for a bit.
"Well if it's entertainment you want, trust me: We'll be the only ones entertained once I put my foot up your ass."
Dracomon X quickly shot up in anger, the horns on his head releasing excess heat. He didn't like the fact that he was being mocked, especially by a human of all people. "YOU TALK A LOT OF SASS FOR PATHETIC HUMAN THAT'S GONNA DIE!" He began to charge at the three with great speed, tucking his head down to attack them with his high temperature horns.
Without bidding time, Vee and Gummy leaped forward to the Digimon, ready to attack. Vee tucked his head down in response as well.
"Vee Headbutt!" his head collided with the Dracomon X's horn, causing a bit of wind gust in the collision. The two initially were evenly matched, but the larger blue dragon was gaining the upper hand.
"Jacked Hammer!" Gummy leaped up, driving his hammered tail in front of him towards the Dracomon X. Not able to dodge due to being in a head clash with Vee, the attack hit home on him, landing on his side, sending him flying towards a food vendor stand.

As Agent Maria approached the scene of the battle, she paid attention to what was going on here. So, the Dracomon-X seemed to be all geared up for a battle. And it seemed that fate would have it that there was a tamer on hand with twin partners that was prepared to take up this challenge. In another world, Maria would have probably been content to hold back and let this play out to her entertainment. But, as a DATS agent, that was not something she was at leisure to do. "Blanc, Noir, Realize" she said, raising her digivice, and with a flash of light, her digimon partners appeared. The Sistermon twins, Champion level.  The trio watched the confrontation further, just to see what the threat level was here. Welp, the X-antibody dragon digimon issuing a death threat to a human there pretty much locked in their course of operation. But the attacks were dished out before the Sistermons could arrive on the scene. Agent Maria was relieved that they weren't going particularly reckless with their attacks. Collateral damage was minimal at this stage. Hopefully it would stay that way. "Bold of you to say that the entertainment's going to be yours, little dragon boy" Sistermon Noir stated, joining the battle to the left of the fighting, twirling her cross-pistols. "Don't cause too much of a mess though, because it's going to be bad for all of you if you do" Sistermon Blanc added, joining from the right, readying her Cross Barbee. "Dracomon, I'll say this once. Surrender and your punishment will be minimal" Agent Maria stated, standing behind the group. "Continue, however, and things will not work out for you. Threatening humans in this world will not be tolerated".For the time being, the Sistermons' attention was focused on the rogue Dracomon. For now, it seemed that they were content to fight alongside Vee and Gummy, especially due to the fact that their attacks were focused and causing minimal damage to other things in the mall. |

Watching the Dracomon crash into a food stand. Justice extended an index and middle finger, imitating a signal in which players in baseball would do whenever someone gets a homerun.
"Heh, nailed it." Justice said, in a confident tone. It would seem that this Digimon was biting off more than what he could chew. If he was facing either Vee or Gummy alone, he may be the one on the winning side. But Vee and Gummy rarely fought on their own since two heads are better than one; one for breaking defenses, and the other to land a crushing blow.
The wreckage that the Dracomon X was in suddenly exploded, with him flying out of it, landing across from the three. His expression from earlier shifted into a much more angrier one. His eyes giving a sharp look at the three while the horns on his head emitted a bright red.
"What's the matter tough guy? Biting off more than you can chew?" said Gummy, his tail lashing at the anticipation of his next attack.
"Tch! That was a lucky shot!" replied Dracomon X, his teeth seething. "Now comes the main event!"
Before both parties could make out their next move, they were quickly joined by two other Digimon, aiming their weapons on opposite side at the Dracomon. They looked very human-like in appearance, which surprised Justice as until now, he didn't know their were Digimon out there that shared human qualities. With them was a blonde woman wearing a suit, presumably their Tamer. When one of the Digimon warned them to not to cause any further damage to the mall, it was met with agreement on their end.
"Duly noted." Vee responsed, giving a smile at her. "The last thing we want is to cause any more damage than it already is."
When the stranger warned Dracomon X, Justice took two steps forward, agreeing with her. "I'd listen to her if I were you. It's four against one, my guy. Any chances of winning that you had just went right out the window."
Taking a step back, Dracomon X gauged the new situation before him: not only he was facing two Digimon, but four. With a pissed, but not loud tone, he started speaking. "Finally found a portal to this world after wanting to expand my entertainment to here..."
"And the very first thing I see when I was enjoying my fun is two stinking humans and their salves that I hesitate to call Digimon. You think I'm just gonna give up simply because you increased in numbers? No way missy!" Dracomon's tone had grown louder, more abrasive, lacking in the softer tone that he started with. Now seething his teeth, and facial expression getting even more angry, he whipped up a gust of wind in the four's direction.
"Because the way I see it, you're all gonna be charcoal after I'm done with ya! Baby Blaze!" With flames in his mouth roiling into a greater high, almost cracking due to the intense heat, he spewed them out to be carried by the wind, casting a fire shower at the party.

The Sistermons were glad that the reptilian combatants, at least, the ones they saw were on the justified side were responding well to their arrival. That was the mission directive here, keep destruction and collateral to a minimum, target only the enemy digimon.
Even after a fair warning, the Dracomon-X still persisted in his crazed objective, whatever it was. That somehow because he had entered a portal through to Earth that gave him the right to hurt others. Agent Maria and her partners scowled with dislike at this.
Still, the dragon digimon insisted on attacking, and this was a nasty one too, a wind-boosted flame attack. The Sistermons exchanged nods, then executed their plan, both of them standing in front of Vee and Gummy.
"Protect Wave!" Sistermon Blanc cried, jamming the bottom of her Cross Barbee to the ground, and at once, a sphere of light surrounded the both of them, creating a shield. As a result of this, the flames were dispersed and nullified, protecting not only the Sistermons, but everything behind them from damage. But not only that, her sister was still free to strike.
"Cross Fire!" Noir shouted, raising her cross-pistols, then fired two holy bullets directly at the Dracomon variant.
Agent Maria was satisfied. Her partners had succeeded in their defense-offense combination, so, hopefully that would be the end of that for now. Furthermore, the Veemon and Gumdramon did not proceed in attacking for now, it seemed they were holding back. This she also approved of.
Sistermon Blanc uses Protect Wave on herself and Noir, interposing themselves in front of Vee, Gummy and Justice.
Protect Wave - Sistermon Blanc jams her Cross Barbee in the ground, then summons forth a divine shield around herself, her sister and her partner. This shield not only heals moderately, but provides absolute protection from up to 1 Champion level attack for each of them, and provides immunity from Rookie level attacks and lower. The protection lasts until broken or 3 turns pass. [Cooldown: 4 turns]
Because of Protect Wave, Blanc nullifies all damage to combatants from Dracomon-X's Baby Flame attack. It does not penetrate.
Protect Wave duration: 1/3 turns.
Sistermon Noir uses Cross Fire on Dracomon-X.
Cross Fire: Raises her guns, then fires two holy shots at the enemy. Can fire both at one target, or one each at two targets. The bullets ignore defenses and barriers. [Cooldown: 2 posts].
Cross Fire cooldown: 0/2 turns.

With the wind boosted flames coming at them at high speeds, there was little time to get out of the way. Before the flames could hit there mark, the two female Digimon stepped in front of Vee and Gummy, one of them projected a barrier, shielding not only the twin dragons, but Justice and the mysterious woman as well. The flames were negated, and the only remnants of the firestorm were the small, burning, embers that soon smoldered out.
“What?!” Dracomon X yelled in surprise. He didn’t expected his attack to be nullified like it was nothing. His Baby Blaze always hit it’s mark, so why was this not the case?
“Wow!” Vee exclaimed, looking at the pink one wielding the staff; he was impressed to say the least. Gummy however, scoffed it off.
“Hmph! We could have done better.” He said, crossing his arms. Although he can’t lie, that was a nice defensive counter.
Justice meanwhile activated his D-Watch again, wanting to know who were the two Digimon with the mysterious stranger.
“Sistermon Noir and Sistermon Blanc. They’re both-hold on...” bend a bit over to the holographic screen to see if whatever he was reading is right. “THEY’RE BOTH CHAMPION LEVEL?? Holy sh-”
“Language!” Vee blurted out.
Justice rolled his eyes and continued. “They’re both sister, with Sistermon Noir being the oldest. Noir specializes in long range combat with her twin dual pistols while Blanc specializes in offensive and defensive capabilities with her Cross Barbee. Interesting, so they’re kind of like you two in a way.”
As soon as the barrier was de-cast, the female Digimon in black made her move, firing two bullets from her dual pistols at the Dracomon’s direction. Using his wings, he narrowly flew out of the two bullets direction, with only one of them grazing his left shoulder. Holding it in pain for a moment as red data started to come out of his wound, only then did he realized that he was truly outmatched.
“Oh forget this, I’m outta here!” he flapped his wings rapidly gained some air. He looked upwards to the glassed window ceiling and shot a fireball at it from his mouth shattering a hole while it started to rain down glass. Not looking at them, he flew upwards, trying to escape.
“Hold up! You’re not getting away that easily!” Vee yelled. He turned to Gummy and the two of them exchanged nods. Just like the Sistermons, it was time for them to start their team attack!
Wrapping his tail around his brother, Gummy jumped up into the air, spinning multiple times. “Let’s get airborne!” he said, launching Vee into the air, intercepting the escaping Dracomon.
“Vee Knockout!” He shouted, focusing his strength into his fist, connecting it to the Dracomon’s face for a one-hit knockout.
The resulting blow was so hard, the second it connected to his head, the Dracomon was instantly out cold. With stars in his eyes, he fell back to the ground, defeated.
"And the quarterback is toast."
Baby Blaze was nullified by Sistermon Blanc's Protect Wave.
One of Sistermon Noir’s bullets grazed Dracomon X, stunning him for a bit.
Gummy wrapped his elastic tail around Vee, spinning in the air multiple times so the velocity would propel him upwards, intercepting the escaping Dracomon X.
Vee uses Vee Knockout on Dracomon X, defeating him in one blow.
-Vee Knockout: Concentrates his strength into one fist to deliver a knockout punch. Often used for finishers.
Cool down: 2 posts.

That the hotheaded dragon digimon seemed surprised at the tactics of the Sistermon twins was no surprise. For years, they had trained in their defense and attack combinations. Blanc could utilize defensive tactics very well, while Noir handled the offense.
Maria meanwhile watched as the twin dragons' tamer scanned her partners. While it initially made her uncomfortable, well, she supposed it would make no harm for him to know at least the basics of their capabilities.
"That's correct, young man" Maria stated to the tamer. "As agent digimon of DATS, Blanc and Noir have been trained to the utmost to be the perfect balance of defense and attack. Not once have they fallen in battle".
Soon afterward, the Dracomon realized he was outmatched and attempted to escape via the ceiling. Agent Maria clenched her teeth together with worry that he might just escape, but, to her surprise, the others in the battle intervened just in time. The Gumdramon launched his Veemon brother up after him, and after a well placed hit, the Dracomon-X was knocked out.
Agent Maria was a little taken aback at how efficient this seemed. But she quickly launched into action, her and her partners, tying and connecting things to the Dracomon-X. Eventually, Agent Maria would raise her digivice, creating something of a wormhole against the wall of the mall.
"Digiport Open" she said, then formed something of a round portal. With that, Sistermons Blanc and Noir held up the unconscious Dracomon-X and pushed him through it. He was sucked into the portal, then disappeared from view. The portal would soon diminish.
"Well then, that settles that" Agent Maria stated. "If he tries to come back with the disruptor protocol we put in him, he's going to end up in the Village of Beginnings instead once the Tokyo Barrier rips him up. So then, mission accomplished for now..."
With that, she turned to the others who had assisted in the battle. They had been very helpful, so much that she wanted to speak with them more.
"It'll probably be a little while before people return here..." Maria stated, walking to a discreet place behind the escalator, where she was certain that no others could watch. "So then. I suppose we should have a little chat over what just happened. You can refer to me as Agent Maria, and these are my twin partners, Blanc and Noir. I appreciate your assistance there, so we will not bother you with further action today. But, if it's fine with you, I'd like to ask a few questions".
Maria's partners' behaviour was casual at this point, indicating that Justice and his partners were free to leave if they truly wanted. But they were still impressed with how they handled themselves in that battle just now, and seemed to be willing to hear him and his partners out without further punitive action.

Vee and Gummy ran over to Justice, who extended both of his fists out to them in a congratulatory manner. It was a short, albeit one-sided victory.
“That was a rush..!” Gummy stated, he turned to Vee and smiled.
“Yep!”
Had it been just the two of them, it probably would have been a different story for trio since the Dracomon X was a bit stronger than the normal Rookie level due to the X-Antibody in him. The celebration was cut short when the mysterious woman and her Digimon went to the Dracomon X and hook some things around him. Once that was done, the woman then used her Digivice to open a portal, sending the Dracomon X through it. He most likely was sent back to the Digital World.
The woman then approached Justice, reassuring him that it will be a minute before local law enforcements and people from the media to start swarming back. He walked along with her towards the area under the escalator, not saying a word, only wanting to talk until she was finished. The woman then introduced herself as Agent Maria and her Twin Digimon, which confirmed his suspicion: she wasn’t with the local law enforcements, rather she was with a secret agency unknown to the general public. She then asked if it was alright to ask a few questions.
“No problem” he said, giving a nod, projecting his voice in a friendly, formal tone. “I’m Justice, and these two knuckles heads are Vee and Gummy—my Digimon. He extended his hand to Agent Maria to shake hands with her, wanting to be a friendly as possible so she doesn’t suspect him of anything.
Vee and Gummy causally approached the two sisters, seeing that it was gonna take awhile with the two humans.
“Wow, you two were amazing back there!” Vee chirped. “That team attack y’all did was spot on!”
“Meh, it wasn’t amazing as ours.” Gummy said putting his paws on his hips. “But for a bunch of girls, I’d say your coordination attack was passable.”

There was something about the interaction between the tamer and his partners that made Agent Maria feel somewhat... jealous. Not enough for her to break her professional code of conduct, but, enough for her to recognize the reality of her situation, that in an ideal world, she would not be able to do the same for her partners.
Still though, Maria was glad that Justice and his partners seemed to be willing to go through with this, to go behind cover and share what they knew. For now this was the modus operandi of DATS, to obtain whatever information they could.
"Alright, glad to hear" she replied as Justice told what his name was, as well as his partners. She hesitated for a few moments, about to reveal her honest name, so impressed she was by these individuals. But, remembered that it was against protocol. Her training kicked in, as well as other memories, and she retained her professional tone.
So, "Vee" and "Gummy" were his digimon. Maria pondered the significance of that. She knew that if her organization had their way, they would be separated. But... it wasn't her place to question that for the moment. Instead, Maria shook his hand in return, forcing a smile.
Her partners meanwhile responded to the dragon twins. Blanc was delighted from the praise. "Thank you! We've been practising that for so long, it's wonderful we were able to pull it off like we wanted!"
Noir meanwhile had her temple throb at Gummy's words. "And just what do you imply from that?" she asked.
Sensing that her partners were probably not going to come to an amicable conclusion with their conversation, Maria cleared her throat, then decided to get to business.
"Firstly, Justice, I'd like to ask... how did you meet your partners?" the DATS agent asked, with as much courtesy as she could manage.

Seeing that Agent Maria returned the gesture, Justice was glad that the two of them were off to a good start. He always did have a knack of befriending other people with Digimon easily. In fact, that's been the only people he's been socializing with ever since he arrived in Shibuya over a month and a half ago. It was hard to believe that his life has change so much in that short time. It almost felt like it was yesterday when first step off the plane that began the chapter of his new life.
He gave a skeptical look when she asked him how he met his Digimon. He didn't know why she would ask that ash he thought he was going to ask him about the Dracomon X they fought a few moments ago. Nevertheless, he crossed his arms, trying to recall the day his whole perception of well, everything changed.
"Well, it was one day at the Shibuya Train Terminal a month and a half ago. I was tired that day since I had two big tests back to back, so I was really paying attention to my surroundings. I had thought I had boarded a train that was gonna take me home, so being tired as I was I closed my eyes to get at least a couple of minutes of sleep. When I opened them, I was greeted by a girl named Chiaki, who looked no older than me, and was with this...cat-noodle like creature that I had never seen before, so immediately I thought I was dreaming."
Justice paused, realizing that his story was a bit too long since he still didn't answered Maria's question yet, despite having her universal attention.
"So it turns out the train I was taking was a train to this other world called the Digital World, but I'm sure you already know that." Justice said causally. "So some things happened when I was with her, stuff that's not important to your question. I met these two because they suddenly jumped me and stole my phone, so we gave 'em a chase. Just as we finally caught up to them, a wild Digimon came out of nowhere and attacked us. Chiaki's Digimon, Tatsu, put up a good fight, but was no match for it. Just when I thought we were goners, these two came back and saved our skin."
He removed the D-Watch from his wrist and held it in front of her, free for her to analyze it if she wanted to. "Afterwards, this Digivice materialized on my wrist. Chiaki told me that they were my partners, shocking all three of us. At first, I wasn't ready for a responsibility for something like this, due to managing school and such. But now, I think I've gotten the hang of it; balancing two lives and all." He took a breath, only just realizing that this was the longest he had ever talked. "Sorry if that was too much, it's a long story."
Vee and Gummy meanwhile were still conversing with Noir and Blanc. Vee's eyes gleamed in response to Blanc. "Well your practicing really paid off! We're still only Rookie level. Had it been just the two of us, we would have a tough time."
Gummy on the other hand puff his chest in response to Noir, not wanting to back down on what he said. "I mean I'm just saying that since you're a girl Digimon, you'd be pretty-OW!"
Vee promptly punched him upside his head before he could say anything offensive to the Champion Digimon. A big bruise started to appear as he got starry eyed. "That's enough out of your mouth for one day."

Agent Maria didn't ask about the Dracomon-X because she believed there would be enough evidence available on the mall cameras that would tell the full story. To her it seemed pretty straightforward, some wild digimon looking for a fight ended up in the mall, got his fight, and was promptly defeated, currently mulling over the lessons learned in the digital world most likely.
On the other hand, here was a Tamer that had earned her trust, and hoped trusted her in return. She would not squander this, but still took out a notebook and pen from her pocket, opening it. "I hope you don't mind" she told him, jotting down notes as he told the story of how he met his digimon if Justice didn't object.
Immediately she noticed a correlation with what she had known so far. Shibuya Train Terminal, that certainly seemed like a hotspot for it all. And he had met another tamer named Chiaki with a cat-noodle creature. "I see, a Kudamon?" Maria inquired.
She listened to the rest of the explanation, and if Justice had no objections, would jot down the points she thought relevant. "So... your partners stole your phone, yet when you were cornered, they came back and saved you" she repeated, tapping her pen against her chin. "Interesting... as a tamer myself I've been pondering whether digimon partnerships were determined by fate or circumstance. In my own case it seemed to be fate, one day I seemed to "fall" into the digital world, a place called the Village of Beginnings, and before long I met Noir and Blanc in their baby forms and they seemed insistent they were my partners, and it turned out that they were. This information's useful. Thank you for sharing, Justice".
Noir and Blanc meanwhile were finding Vee and Gummy just adorable. Blanc blushed and bowed thanks at Vee's praise, while Noir laughed at Gummy's silly notion that girl digimon weren't strong. "Well, I admit I might not be able to beat an Ogremon in an arm-wrestle, but Ani and Tony here could sure beat him in a battle" the puppet nun digimon said, twirling her twin guns deftly.
Letting the digimon alone for now, Agent Maria continued her conversation with Justice. "Alright, that's all I'll ask for now. Thanks for your cooperation. I'll let you three on your way now. I assume you have some means of hiding your partners?"
They usually did, so she wouldn't be worried about that. Well then, with the situation secure and the intelligence gathered, Agent Maria thought this was just about mission complete. If there was nothing else, she would part ways with Justice, withdrawing Noir and Blanc into her digivice's V-Pet program to consult with mall security about the events just now.

"Yep, pretty much." replied Justice, rubbing his hand behind his head. He only told Maria the jist of the story, seeing as though if he had told her that previously they were known as the Wild Brothers-- causing mischief and stealing valuables at the Village of Beginnings, she would have likely grown wary of the two. "Let's just say that the two have hearts of gold, even if one of them doesn't realize it yet..." secretly referring to Gummy.
Hearing her experience with her Digimon, the young Tamer would start to ponder about his relationship with both of his Digimon. He doesn't believe in fate because he doesn't like, or agree with what believing in fate would imply. It's scary, really; thinking you're not in control of what happens to you, that everything is set in stone for you and all you have to do is follow the breadcrumbs. He didn't choose to be a tamer, but if it was his fate to be one, he could have met any Digimon as a result, saying that they were his partner, but Vee and Gummy didn't. It was not his fate, rather his destiny.
Vee and Gummy meanwhile were starting to take a liking of the two nun digimon. Vee bowed to Blac in return. Gummy, recovering from that comical blow to the head, ushered his paw out to Noir in a fist. "Well whaddaya say we test that notion?" the dragon Digimon said, a smirk appearing on his face. "An arm wrestling match; right here, right now!"
"Ah, so you're finally challenging someone that doesn't involve fighting?" Vee said, putting his hands on his waist. "I think the smell of maturity's in the air."
Gummy frowned; he did not appreciate being teased.
Back to the humans, Justice showed Maria his D-Watch when she asked if he had some means of keeping his partners hidden. "Yep, the V-Pet program in my digivice. Before, I had to hide them tow separate book bags...it was not good for my back between you and me." His relaxed demeanor dropped as something popped up in his mind. "But before you go, I got some questions for you too if you don't mind. You said that you're an agent, of what organization exactly? What are you after?"

Agent Maria smiled a little at Justice's assessment of his partners. From what she had seen, yeah, they were the good kind. One a little more rough than the other, but, from what she knew of digimon, both seemed to be the better types - those that only fought when it was necessary. And they also seemed to be brave as well, which was another tick in her books.
Noir and Blanc meanwhile seemed to be liking the little dragon digimon in return. Blanc was delighted to meet a digimon that met her manners for one, while Noir was just ecstatic about her interaction with Gummy.
"Oh yeah?!" she asked, a somewhat fanatical grin appearing on her face. "Gimme that paw, boy, I'll crush it!"
"Noir! No! Combat's over! This will prove nothing!" Blanc begged her sister, holding her hand back. Noir's expression held until Agent Maria spoke.
"Settle down please" the DATS agent said, and at once her partners resumed their self-discipline, returning to either side of her.
Maria was glad that Justice also had a V-Pet system and knew how to use it. That would make this all the more cleaner. If he withdrew his partners and left the mall, then this would be the end of the matter for now.
Then, he asked of her organization. Agent Maria thought it was only fair to respond.
"My organization? I'm an agent of DATS - the Digital Accident and Tactics Squad. It's my job to respond to situations similar to what just happened right now with the Dracomon-X" she replied. "Well then. If that's all, best be on your way. Be careful to keep your partners hidden, Justice, things for digimon could get a little rough in the coming months."

Justice laughed a little seeing the little competition between Gummy and Noir. It seems no matter who the Digimon is, the little purple dragon will always find a way to seek competition. Judging by Noir’s reaction to his proposal, it seems even she was no different than Gummy—a little calmer, yes, but the spunk was still there nonetheless. Vee and Blanc on the other hand were so identical in their mannerisms, he couldn’t tell the two of them apart.
When Agent Maria called her Digimon over, Vee and Gummy returned to Justice’s side as well. “I guess we’ll have to settle this some other day.” Gummy said, pulling his eyelid down and sticking his tongue out to her in a teasing manner.
“Boy, sometimes you are such a handful.” Vee sighed, elbowing his brother’s shoulder.
As Agent Maria answered his question, Justice raise a brow with curiosity.DATS, huh? He didn’t knew their would be an organization that would handle and assess Digimon incidents in Shibuya. But we’re they only stationed here in Shibuya? Perhaps they were a secret global organization with headquarters around the world. But still, it was still speculation; there was no proof to go with that hypothesis. But nonetheless, he was glad that there was an organization out there dealing Digital threats. It shouldn’t be his responsibility to deal with that stuff anyway. He was still a college student after all, if word got out he was associated with monsters from a parallel world, he could kiss his scholarship goodbye. But with this incident, this was one of the few exceptions. Besides, he wasn’t just going to stand around and let that Digimon do what he wanted. He needed to be taken down a few a few pegs.
So basically, you’re like Digimon law enforcements. He said. “I didn’t know a profession like that existed...but what do I know; I’m just an Abroad student from the States, stuff like that isn’t really my thing.”
Before he could question her last comment, police sirens were blaring in the distance. It would probably take a minute tops before the mall was swarmed with law enforcements. “Ah shit, just what I need...” he mummer under his breath. “Vee, Gummy, let’s get mosey.”
The two twins nodded. Vee said his goodbyes to Blanc and hopped back into the D-Watch. Gummy turned to Noir one last time and gave her a thumbs up before following his brother in suit.
“Thanks for everything, ma’am.” Justice said, bowing. “I have a feeling this won’t be the last time we’ll see each. These two, especially Gummy, won’t allow it anyway.”
“You’re goddamm right!” Gummy blared from the digivice.
With that, Justice aimed his grappling hook at the shattered glass ceiling opening the Dracomon X made earlier. With a little pull, he was propelled upward, giving Maria a smile. As soon as he reached the roof, he was off.
One question did lingered on his mind though: what even was coming that she warned about? Perhaps he’ll find out soon enough...
