Ophelia would watch as the Missimon, Renamon, and Angel would fill into the kitchen one by one; and the lot of Tadayoshi's army seemed to be notably hungry, in fact. Ophelia couldn't help but note that she was gett pretty peckish, herself; but much as Tadayoshi said, would save the eating for after they went over all the information.
At Bero's prompting for an idea of what they should do tomorrow, Ophelia would think for a second, mentioning "Few things we could do, actually." before she found a spot to sit down, tail idly swishing as she began. "I guess to start... Zam doesn't think that Gajuma's to blame for the attacks and shit, and Akala isn't sure of it, either; which, personally, I agree - but I'll get into that later. He suggested we go visit and talk to Gajuma for his side of the shit, though to do that, we're going to need to fight his lieutenants first - a Stegomon named Ezon, an Allomon - possibly digivolved into Megadramon but unsure - named Hizek, and a Vmon named Ares. Probably worth talking to Hizek and Ares too, when we beat them, though it sounds like Ezon would just get too pissy to talk if we beat him."
"Another thing worth mentioning with visiting Gajuma, is it sounds like we'd wanna go as a group - or at least have some form of numbers to back us up - and that it'd be an all-day trip, more likely than not."
"And that cave that you were exploring earlier, Bero..." Ophelia would begin in comment. "From the sounds of things, Akala's tribe intended to tunnel to connect the islands, but due to the shitton of Lavatanga in there, they had to seal it up and leave it be. They otherwise don't know too much about it, though. Lavatanga seems to be a treat to them, when they can avoid the spores making one berserk, though. If you think it's worth investigating, we can try looking 'round there, too, though."
Next... "... Akala's tribe is also missing some people. One of their council members - Gozon, a Flarizamon - went to scout out the island, starting with the northern parts of the island, three weeks ago, with a couple of pals; a Tyrannomon and a Tuskmon. But the trip was supposed to take a week, and they haven't shown back up yet. Akala's tribe doesn't know a lot about the northern parts of the island, but it did sound like it's a bit on the treacherous side to navigate by foot. There's also the possibility of some weird shit going on towards that way, which I'll get into in just a second..."
And finally... "... But it sounds like we might also have doppelgangers hanging around the island? One of the guards - a Silver V-Dramon named Gin - spotted some unusual digimon from the north about a week ago. Tried to greet them with their usual 'Halle-ho' and asked to get inside, but when Gin left to get the other guard, Kin, they were gone. From what it sounds like, the doppelgangers have the skull markings on their bellies instead of their faces, and were wearing bones that sounded to be spine bones, like the ones I found before. But what makes this even weirder, is that Gajuma's tribe apparently don't usually wear the arm and spine bones I mentioned before; they prefer fangs and claws."
Ophelia would fold her arms behind her head. "If you ask me, I don't think it's a coincidence that the doppelgangers came from the north, and that Gozon's crew disappeared after going out to scout the northern parts; what I'm guessing is that the doppelgangers snatched Gozon up, and have begun investigating us right back, hence the attacks. But that leaves us with a few options, which is to either go talk to Gajuma, to investigate the thermal vents that Bero had checked out before, or to go investigate the North side of the island - likely to both investigate these doppelgangers, and to look for Gozon and co."
"Personally, I'd like to go talk to Gajuma for his side of this shit; and the day after we investigate the north, but what do you guys think about all this?"

OK, that was indeed a lot, but between all of Silence's different ears in the room they were able to absorb everything that the Spadamon was saying together. On the matter of future plans, the captain deferred. "Sir?"
Tadayoshi crossed his arms and looked down, taking in all the facts, attempting to draw conclusions, and playing out speculative scenarios in his head. "If numbers are the best approach to the Gajuma, my team could potentially handle it alone and free up the two of you - a two-front investigation. But we certainly can't leave the shelter abandoned, either, and without the MetalKoromon we don't have enough drones to pick up the same slack... though at current use we do have enough for short-range reconnaissance." Yoshi closed his eyes a moment. "If you go to Gajuma, you musn't go alone. Take Bero or some of my team. I'm sure we could spare enough to fuse to up to three X2 if those that remain can take the MetalKoromon's watches for the day." That was when the lightbulb went off in his head. "Perhaps we could do both after all. If you're determined to go to Gajuma yourself, you could take a couple of X2's with you, and if Bero is so inclined he could head north, maybe with another X2. That would leave... well it depends on who the captain selects as his partner, but it could work." "The question is," Renamon interjected, "Why is someone else using a different, unknown set of bones? Are they trying to impersonate Gajuma's tribe, or are they trying to distinguish themselves from it? More importantly, why do neither Akala's people nor KIZNA know about them?"
Jetmon suggested, "It may be they aren't natives but newcomers."
"Then why the heck do they care about a volcano shelter?"
"Perhaps someone stands to profit from KIZNA's failure."
"What-"
"about-" "-the-" "-missing-" "-Akala-" "-tribespeople?"
"That's enough. You're speculating based on circumstantial evidence of alleged, vague wrongdoing. Anyway, I just don't see any safe way into the geothermal tunnels. Even Bero only got so far."

Bero listened to both and their suggestions, thinking them over. “So they wear the spine bones? Like the ones i found in the cave too. That does make the thermal vent caves a suspect area too, which indeed creates the difficulty of deciding to split up or not. I see no use in trying to point out who exactly might be to blame, unless this can help us track them down. Knowing how you moral folk act, you’ll want to confirm your suspicions anyway. So may as well not have suspicions to start with, unless they serve some kind of purpose.”
Bero stated with a shrug, saying so quite ‘as a matter of fact’-ly. He saw no logic and reason to the acting of most people’s behaviour. “Dunno if either of you have much access to some devices, but I actually took lavatanga and some bones with me from the cave. The Lavatanga is in the fridge, separated from the food.”
“That aside though. I for one am most willing to visit Gajuma first and foremost. It’s a much clearer direction compared to visiting the treacherous north. And, as I view it, seeding out a third faction, uncovering them, and laying them down isn’t a 2 day job. All i really see happening is us starting an alliance between the three known factions. The shelter, Gajuma and Akala.” he thought about it. It just felt impossible to make such a dent in a mere 2 day time. Even if you spent all 48 hours going at it, which he wasn’t sure how much people were capable of, and if he’d even be capable of doing it here.
And he -still- wanted to visit that volcano and check the magma out more. Although it seemed there’d likely be no opportunity.

There was a whole lot of possibilities, options of where to go, and how to go about it. Ophelia would frown a hair as she tried to sort through it all in her head - she wasn't sure where to even begin sorting through it, in fact. She wasn't usually a thinker, though this wasn't an immediately straightforward problem where she could be pointed at something and told to fight it, or be put to a simple task. Thankfully though, she wasn't alone to figure this out on her own; Bero - as much as he may be Bero - and Yoshi's army were both here to provide their own inputs, too.
She'd glance to Yoshi as he offered to handle Gajuma on his own though, and would tilt her head. "You sure? We're still talking about a bunch of big 'mons whose big thing is, well, fighting." Ophelia would ask - wondering if either she or Bero shouldn't come with to Gajuma. Bero, too, would express skeptism over trying to figure out who's to blame and whether they'd have enough time to really root out the Doppelgangers; though otherwise expressed interest in visiting Gajuma. "I mean, it sounds like if we don't at least figure out the Doppelgangers a little bit, they'll continue causing trouble until someone does." She would muse out loud to him, scratching the back of her head. But otherwise...
"Hm..." Ophelia hummed in thought to herself, leaning back in her seat a bit. "Sounds like investigating Gajuma's our best bet, though... I dunno if I necessarily like the idea of splitting up, but if we could spare some people to either check out the tunnels or the northern parts of the island while the rest of us went to Gajuma, we could cut down on a lot of time..." Ophelia mused out loud, thinking it over before she glanced in Tadayoshi's direction. "How badly would it impact the team's strength if we had Jetmon, and/or the Missimon squad go check out the northern parts of the island?" She'd ask.
Logically, treacherous terrain would be no problem for flying digimon, there weren't all that many flying digimon on this island, it seemed, and being up in the air meant they saw more, right? "If you think we could handle Gajuma's tribe and the lieutenants without the Jetmon and Missimon, they could optionally stop by Akala's tribe to ask Unvana about Gozon and co and the north, or go straight to exploring 'round the northern parts while the rest of us go for Gajuma."
Though, then again, that did raise the question of keeping a watch on the shelter. Hm... "... And the MetalKoromon... How important are they to the strength of the team, too?" This really was quickly becoming a question of balancing all of this shit, wasn't it? Maybe exploring the north and the thermal vents should be saved for the day after they visit Gajuma...

The alarm blared loudly inside the shelter. Something must be triggered it. It's seem some guests are seen... A monitor slowly descended from the roof, showing 3D image of the shelter and the points of attacks. It's seem the attacks are coming from seven, six and five o'clock. From the look at it, the drones also assessed their threat levels. From the look of it, it's mostly child stages with few adult stages... but something is wrong. The adult stages are malnourished to point where they're very sluggish.
The report showed that the adults are Salamandamon, Tyranomon and Diatrymon. These three seem to come in different speed. Salamandamon is the farthest, about three hundred and fifty meters away. Tyranomon is closer, but slower to approach than the Salamandamon. It almost looked like that it's ready to collapse... yet, there's some frenzied look on its eyes. Diatrymon meanwhile would probably approach the shelter first. There are some waves of smaller Digimons, mostly feral dragon and dinosaur types. Lot of Gaossmon for sure. From the look of it, they're also malnourished albeit not to the point of near dead like the rest... Their target is obviously the greenhouse. From the look of how they snapped at one another, it's seem like they're in race to get the food.
There are also no further sign of more attack. The drones assumed the capability of the malnourished adult stages as less than an armor adult... which is concerning. However, the Tyranomon alone have strength of an adult.... Albeit, it's seem that it can die anytime.
estimated contact with the first wave: 1 turn estimated contact with Diatrymon: 3 turns estimated contact with Salamandamon: 5 turns estimated contact with Tyranomon: 7 turns

Tadayoshi didn't get to explain to Ophelia just how the MetalKoromon cluster fit into his team because there more immediate, urgent, and louder concerns. "Captain?" Tadayoshi didn't have to say more than that to his second in command's picture on the digivice. Commandramon understood.
At the same time the a screen told the same information, the captain, who couldn't have known, explained, "Large waves of rookie digimon approaching from our front. Three champion digimon draw up the rear," in synch with the kitchen screen's display of it all.
"Oh, my goodness. Look at them," Tadayoshi mumbled. He had a bit of pity for these raiders, for he noticed their scrawny figures.
"General, orders?"
Well, it stunk, but there had to be a response. "General quarters, captain."
"Yes, sir." The entire army could hear him in their ears, "All callsigns, general quarters. Assemble outside the greenhouse and prepare to ward off hostiles."
"Captain, keep your safety on. Meet me by the APC."
"On my way, sir."
"Ophelia, Bero, we'll talk this out later."
With impressive response time, the greenhouse was no longer undefended. Parked several meters from the greenhouse was an armored personnel carrier whose cannon was pointed in the general direction of where the waves of rookies were expected to converge. Tadayoshi was in the driver's seat safe and sound while Commandramon was lying prone on top, eyes down his rifle scope.
Renamon leaned on the rear of the vehicle, watching with a cold, detached expression.
Hagurumon was hiding behind the vehicle, hoping not to get involved.
The Missimon siblings all lined up side-by side in front of Renamon.
The MetalKoromon all stuck magnetically to the vehicle.
Angel was inside with Tadayoshi pouting, but the group knew she couldn't be trusted not to shoot first and completely neglect to ask questions.
Jekyll and Hyde each hovered over the APC, alert and ready to boost into a fray.
As always, Rashi stood ready within the Xros Loader.
"Deploying smoke!" Commandramon at some point rose up onto his knees and withdrew canisters from some of his countless pockets. After pulling their pins, he stood and threw the pair of canisters ahead far as he could. Landing along the guard group's left and right, the canisters started to release a gas a few seconds after settling. This gas was non-toxic quite easy to see through, so what was its purpose? Well, it was a deep red smoke which floated upwards. This was a long-distance warning: "We're here, we see you, and we are ready to respond."
But in case that wasn't enough, one member of Silence wasn't present: Jetmon. That was because she was manning the loudspeaker system to verbally warn the raiders, "Unidentified digimon, you are trespassing on private property! Turn back immediately! We are prepared to defend ourselves with force!"
That should satisfy the client, hopefully the other locals, too. Commandramon returned to his prone position atop the armored carrier after deploying his smoke signals, eye downrange. "Nobody attacks unless first attacked," the boy reminded his people.
"Sheesh, I heard ya the first time, ya freakin' buzzkill!"

Bero grunted at the presence of alarm. Well, he wanted excitement, it was here for him. He didn’t nearly have the reaction time that Tadayoshi’s army had, So he was running behind them a bit. He was already aflame and ready to fight some enemies. He hadn’t come here to fight but Sovereign’s Smiting, not fighting was boring as all hell!
Sadly (for him and him alone) he had heard Jetmon’s use of the speaker system before he had attacked. He supposed he couldn’t hinder the other two and would have to hold back any attacks, for now. Until they were attacked at the least. He stood a small ways away from Tadayoshi’s little army. Pfah. Teamwork. That just made it so much harder to roll with the punches when the punches were big enough. But for now, Tadayoshi’s army was stronger than he.
He looked at the smoke bombs that the army had unleashed and the forced condition of not attacking until you were attacked. Violet eyes gazed through his blue fiery shroud as he stared at the whole affair. His arms were impatient, but he could wait until he took the first blow. Wouldn’t be the first time.

Indeed, Ophelia wouldn't get much of a chance to get any further with her discussions. As the alarm began to blare, Ophelia would visibly startle - nearly jumping out of her own fur, with the loud noises it made. It grated on her ears, prompting her to cover them with her hands with a low, displeased growl - her ears folding back, and tail starting to flick and lash. She'd still glance up to the report though - reading and looking over everything, unable to help but note the emaciated and malnourished appearances of the digimon. It didn't bode well to her - these were an awful lot of hungry digimon, for what she thought was supposed to be a lush jungle island... Why were they so hungry, and why were there so many hungry digimon...?
This read less like a roving band of wild digimon looking for scraps, and more like that there was a famine going on - yet when she had asked about troubles and whatnot at Akala's tribe, there wasn't any mention of it, before... Though, that was when she'd also note the Tyrannomon's frenzied look, and what Akala had mentioned about it before - that a digimon frenzied by its spores could die from stress... Could that be related to these digimons' behavior, too?
Either way, when the other digimon would begin filing out of the kitchen to prepare for the coming waves of Digimon, Ophelia would follow after - mentioning to everyone over radio "I have a suspicion that the Tyrannomon might be hyped up on Lavatenga, but it's just a suspicion. Even if I'm wrong on that, we shouldn't underestimate these guys - they might be starving, but that means they're going to be desperate, and will fight like mad if it means a chance at a meal. To them, it's likely either they eat tonight, or starve." Ophelia had a distinct feeling that unless they put up a big enough of a display and fight, that these digimons' hunger and desperation will overpower their sense of self-preservation; which meant they'd be pretty dangerous combatants, even if they were weakened from that hunger. After all, if these digimon were going to be unable to find a meal, well...
... It'd likely be more of a death sentence than anything that they could dish out.
Either way, Ophelia would move to the frontlines alongside Bero, readying her sword. She'd glance over to Bero's direction - noting the BlackGabumon's visible displeasure at being made to wait, but was surprisingly quiet and serious about this. Frankly? She didn't want to fight these wild digimon. If she could feed them all, and send them home happy, she would; but that wasn't realistic. They only had so much food, and well... If these digimon were indeed starving from some sort of famine, it was unlikely that Ophelia would be able to scrounge up her own meals, even if she were to share some food with the other digimon.

The smokeshow would shock many of the child stages. They made a sqawking sounds, reminiscent of raptor sounds from a certain movie about dinosaurs brought back to existence by cloning them. These things however... are feral, which means they doesn't seem to recognize the the warning given by the crew as more than "another language". Even then, the red smoke was indeed a smart play, considering this is a volcanic island. it made the child stages thought there are some very hot fire blazing under that. Most of them either discouraged, or got scared to point of running away... The adults, meanwhile, seem to at point where they can no longer register "danger".
...The Tyranomon especially. Not even caring, and at times even outright stomped child stages, leaving stream of data floating toward the eastern side of Digital World. Diatrymon seem to be the one that faltered for a moment, before pursuing again. Contact with the first wave is slightly delayed, but some of these Digimons suddenly shot projectile attacks toward the shelter! The thermal barrier managed to weaken some of it, but those that managed to come inside would be enough to burn some grasses if left alone. Thankfully, by itself, it deals no noticeable damages.
...Still, what to do to the rest?
Contact with Child Stages: Delayed by 1 turn, will arrive next turn Leftover child stages: 60%, divided by: 25% on the left, 30% on the center and 5% on the right. Contact with Diatrymon: 3 turns (From the left) Contact with Salamandamon: 4 turns (from the center) Contact with Tyranomon: 6 turns (From the right)

"Heads down!" Anyone with an earpiece in could catch the captain's order to take cover from the oncoming salvo of fire. Yoshi and company responded appropriately. While the Commandramon atop the vehicle planted his snout in the metal, paws over his helmet, the rest of the group took cover either behind the armored vehicle or already inside it (the latter being just the General himself). Sure, the fire ended up being fairly inconsequential, but it was still a good idea to shield oneself from it. "Hold! Hold! No violence until they're inside the perimeter!"
The team obeyed. Commandramon got his rifle back in front of his eye and continued monitoring the situation. "The warning is working, sir. About half the smaller digimon are fleeing. Contact with the rest very close."
"Time to fuse." Tadayoshi had to use some upper body strength to pull himself up through the hole for cannon operation, even more since one hand was occupied handling a Xros Loader. "I need Renamon and the MetalKoromons." They both stood in front of the APC. "Digi-Xros!" Both groups became balls of light that circled each other upwards in a double helix until they were as tall as the digimon they made: Turuiuemon, the tricky ninja. "Next group: Jetmon! Jekyll, Hyde!" The twins were in place just as Jetmon had returned from the interior of the base and reported to the battlefield with impeccable timing. "No dawdling, team! Digi-Xros!" They became a hulking Pteramon, death from above. "Give me the Missimon and Rashi!"
"Really, Yoshi-Yoshi?" the Rukamon exclaimed excitedly from within the Loader. "You bet. Digi-Xros!" Together, they all became a Divermon, the amphibious assault. But the captain interrupted the round of fusions with another report. "The distant Tyranomon is assailing some of the Gaossmon. There are fatalities." Even though this was a statement of fact presented in an even-keel tone, Yoshi knew the captain was pointing it out for a reason. He wanted permission to engage.
Yoshi didn't need to be convinced. Already he was squeamish about fighting against starving digimon. Maybe saving them would be good for local relations, too. "Next group is the advance team! Commandramon, Hagurumon Deckerdramon!"
"G-General?" No, Hagurumon didn't want to go into battle! They hated battle! They liked peace and romantic comedies and fun games!
"Move it, Specialist!" Hagurumon barely peaked out from behind the vehicle, but that was enough. "Digi-Xros!" Once that pair became Tankmon, Tadayoshi released his team's secret weapon: the huge crocodilian Deckerdramon. "Get out there and subdue that Tyranomon!"
"Sir."
Deckerdramon huffed without a verbal answer, but the two rolled out together. They got straight to work once outside the thermal barrier. It was a little difficult to aim from this distance, but it wasn't impossible... hopefully. Tankmon fired first, "Double Gun!" Boom! A couple of tank shells flew straight for Tyranomon. The crocodile wasn't far behind. "Deckerdra Launcher!" His missile cases realigned for a better firing angle. Then... Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh! A barrage of nearly a dozen missiles left swirly smoke trails behind their paths while they, too made to assault the dinosaur. "Don't forget, you two, avoid lethal force."
Renamon and MetalKoromon (8) fused to X2 Turuiemon.Jetmon and Rocketmon (2) fused to X2 Pteramon. Rukamon and Missimon (6) fused to X2 Divermon. Commandramon and Hagurumon fused to X2 Tankmon. Tankmon attacked Tyranomon with Double Gun. -Double Gun: This digimon shoots one tank shell out of one arm's main barrel, then another out of its other arm. The impacts of the shells and explosions deal damage.
Champion Deckerdramon attacked Tyranomon with Deckerdra Launcher. -Deckerdra Launcher: This digimon fires a salvo of missiles from the launchers on his back to deal explosive damage.

The smoke bombs had done well, but not much after it, they saw small fiery projectiles heading towards them. Nothing that would cause enough damage. Enough to aggravate Bero into lighting up his cloak afire. He batted off a fiery projectile as if it was nothing, his blue fire surrounding and swallowing the small red embers, making it vanish entirely. Children’s play. “If they’ll fight like savages, i’ll handle them like every other wild digimon i’ve done before. Enjoying the good fight.”
While Bero would describe Yoshi’s action as falling under 'showing off', he did see that he needed to keep Yoshi on his good side, were he to stay alive. He had received a command to not kill, to which he replied. “Haven’t done that thus far and have no intentions to change it.”He rolled his eyes, as if it were obvious he’d never kill any digimon. It didn’t need to be said, why did everyone always assume the worst of him? Sadly, to Bero, it somehow wasn’t obvious why others did that. For all he knew, it just meant others fought him with more vigor. All the better. Same with these hungry rookies, they’ll show him their true full strength, and he wouldn’t have it any other way. “Going to thin the crowd by Diatrymon.” Bero rushed off to the left exit, blue fire twisting and roiling off his cape as he moved in that direction. His small size belied decent speed for a rookie, which was helped by his ability to grapple onto distant objects using the claws of his strange cape. If he was going to stand any chance against a crowd, he’d need to manipulate their movements. Step 1 for that was grabbing their attention. As he arrived on the spot, the flames of his cape reached a pitch, roiling, burning, twisting and reaching out to the skies above, blue fire lighting up the surroundings notably. Hopefully they’d take notice of the moving bright blue fire. Bero was preparing to dodge enemy attacks at first. Bero rushes to the Left side. Bero stands outside of the shelter and tries to attract the attention of the rookie digimon by making himself brighter. He uses Accelerant Ignition to do this. Stacks used = 0 Stacks gained normally = 5 New total Stacks of “Basics Mastery” = 5 Passives: Superior Technique[RAM upgrade GIGA] Combat Passive - Bero’s incredible technique lets him improvise his attacks and abilities, using his natural weapons and traits of his body’s code to great effectiveness. Bero starts each combat with 5 stacks of ‘Basics Mastery’ and every round he is in combat he gains 2 more stacks. He can hold a maximum of 15 stacks. Using 5 stacks allows him to empower one basic attack to deal damage equal to a named attack with a 1-turn cooldown. This attack counts as Bero’s named attack (or one of his named attacks, incase he’s 1 vs twins) for the post it is used. Other passives may give him more stacks of ‘Basics Mastery’ or methods to use it.
Flame Coat Combat Passive - Naturally capable of lighting his entire coat aflame, Bero makes sure to always fight with this fire backing him up. As long as this passive is in effect, Bero’s coat is covered in hot blue flames, and he can control the claws on his coat freely as if they were two extra sets of limbs. He can stretch out these limbs like rubber, using them to increase the reach of his basic attacks, and allow him to interact with objects or digimon from a distance. The elastic nature of his cloak allows him to attack up to 5 meters away, or about 5x the expected distance the limbs could reach. These limbs are strong enough for him to pull himself up by them or push himself off the ground using them. Due to being constantly aflame, they increase the damage of his basic attacks using these arms by 10%. While the hot flames of his coat are dangerous, they do not actually deal significant damage when merely touched. Active moves: Accelerant Ignition Buff - Stoking the fires of his cape with raw energy, Bero covers himself with raging fire which allows him to move about 30% faster and makes touching his cape quite harmful, to the point of enemies dealing minor damage to oneself upon striking Bero with a melee attack. This buff lasts 3 posts and has a cooldown of 5 posts. Cooldowns: Accelerant Ignition Still active. ⅓ turns duration passed. Cooldown not started.

As per Commandramon's warning, Ophelia would duck her head a little - shielding herself with a single arm - as the fireballs from the Gaossmon would come in, peppering over the grass of the shelter. Though the thermal barrier more or less left the fireballs practically harmless, the smell of smoke that would rise from the singed and burning grass would still make her wrinkle her nose, tail flicking slightly. Glancing down at where a fireball had landed closeby, she'd take the time to stamp out the smouldering grass, muttering "How in the world hasn't any digimon here caused a wildfire, at this rate?" to herself. Though she felt sympathetic to the plight of these feral digimon - having grown up a wild digimon herself - she had a duty to fulfill here, to protect the shelter.
Her ears would twitch up as she listened over the radio, though; hearing Tadayoshi and Commandramon speak up. It sounded as though some of the Gaossmon were thinning out; fleeing from the display that Tadayoshi and his crew had made. Meanwhilst, Tadayoshi seemed to be calling upon and gathering specific team members; for whatever reason, Ophelia wasn't initially sure. She would glance in the direction of the greenhouse and APC, though - just in time to see Renamon and the MetalKoromons gathering together before Tadayoshi, and just in time to... See them fuse together?
Ophelia would prick up curiously as she watched Tadayoshi, one by one, fuse together a small but respectable squad of digimon in preparations for the coming swarm; a Turuiemon, a Pteramon, a Divermon, and a Tankmon - and not only that, but she would also bear witness to a Deckerdramon, as well! All the whilst though - she'd also hear Commandramon's mention of the Tyrannomon assaulting some of the surrounding Gaossmon... ... Which would bring a frown to the Spadamon's face. So the Tyrannomon was, indeed, berserk off of Lavatenga - which meant that it'd likely fight to the death, if it doesn't calm down. She would watch as Deckerdramon and Tankmon set out to engage the berserk Champion, before glancing to Bero - who would run off towards the left, aiming to handle that crowd of digimon.
Which, left Ophelia, Turuiemon, Pteramon, and Divermon at the shelter. Initially, Ophelia was debating whether to stand her ground, or to join in engaging the foes - but... The notion of such a big fight, it admittedly did excite a significant part of herself - and she was unsure how Bero was going to be handling a group of fellow rookies and a champion... Tail twitching, she'd glance in the direction that Bero had ran off, before following after - calling over the radio "Following after Bero, just incase." She wasn't about to let the BlackGabumon get mauled by a pack of Gaossmon, that much is for sure; and she was confident that the other three champions could hold themselves quit ewell.

One thing that might be of interest to the group is the fact that the blue, burning flame of Bero actually made these child stages run away, perhaps in fright. Some of the middle road child stages, upon seeing that, quickly shifted to the right side... not a good move for the child stages however, considering that the Tyranomon is being engaged in battle. Perhaps now that adult stage attacks are bombarding it was enough to scare the child stages, most of them ran away, leaving about 20% overall.
One thing of note is that Diatrymon is not slowing down. In fact, knowing that it's from a Digimon, it actually hastened its footsteps. Most likely, they'll clash with it next turn if it managed to reach them. The bird digimon suddenly spew out fire based laser. It might be weakened, but its power isn't something that a child stage should scoff at either!
the Salamandamon pressed on, undaunted. The child stages are like pests for it, and it doesn't care. With them gone, perhaps there are not a lot of need to actually go faster... It decided to conserve energy for the meantime, biding its time.
The Tyranomon.... this is where it gets tricky. Once it get attacked, it started absorbing the data from the fallen child stages, Surely but slowly, the Digimon somehow becomes stronger. The attack does not daunt it, almost like its pain sensory faculties are muted by its hunger driven frenzy. For the first time, it opened its mouth and....
--It shot a concentrated Fire Breath, stronger than just a mere Adult stage. Its vital definitely those of an adult stage, but for some reason, its power are completely on different matter! The thermal barrier was unable to bring its firepower down, and it's heading toward the Tankmon. Now that it revitalized somewhat, it actually starts picking up the pace, heading toward the shelter.
Combat Log: Diatrymon shot Plasma Beam at Bero and Ophelia, ignores reflect and shield, 3 turns cooldown Clash with Diatrymon is assumed to be next turn
Tyranomon tanked all the attacks, but is absorbing fallen child stages' data, and is empowered. It's slowly recovering from its hunger. While it takes damage, it doesn't look like it registered the pain. Tyranomon shot concentrated Fire Breath toward Tankmon. Perceived strength is around Armor Perfect. 2 turns cooldown. Contact with Tyranomon in 2 turns.
Salamandamon plays it cool and slowly, but surely approaching. Clash in 3 turns.
Child stage remaining: 20%, mostly on the center, behind Salamandamon (15%), 3% behind Diatrymon, 2% in front of Tyranomon, and steadily dropping.

The vast majority of the child stages didn’t seem distracted by the bright light, but rather, afraid of it. As they ran away, Bero called out in annoyance and mild confusion. “What kind of wild digimon are you?!”He had prepared for the masses to be vicious and relentless, they were starving, and he was in the way for their method of survival after all, as far as he knew. Rather than having to dodge an accumulated mass of small attacks heading his way, there was a beam of pure heat heading his own way. Bero had the advantage he was already focused on dodging, and the moment the beam was being prepared, he could sense it’s heat signature. Now, the attack was somewhat too wide for Bero to fully avoid, resulting in the glowing plasma skimming by his form and causing his blue fire to be overtaken by the light of the beam. But after the Diatrymon’s beam vanished and the plasma glow was gone, bero’s blue fire appeared, Bero being besides the point of impact, and looking to be just as charred as he always does. Being as black as the night made it hard to see fire burns on him. Nonetheless, he seemed hell intent on bringing the fight, despite his champion opponent. It wasn’t what he liked doing, but he’s forced himself to fight wild champions before, for his survival. Never won, but always survived. He pointed one of his hands to the eyes of Diatrymon, one of the claws of his cloak straightened out to mirror his hand, but he grabbed the cloak and pointed the claw up. ”Little blue hunter.” he spoke his move with calm confidence, as a stream of blue fire leapt out of his claw. It was aimed to home in on Diatrymon’s eyes, but to move more up first. Why? So Diatrymon had to divide his attention, As Bero himself Started running towards the Diatrymon and rookie digimon, staying close to the ground, while his projectile took the opposite direction of trying to attack the Diatrymon from above. Bero’s preparation lets him barely dodge Diatrymon’s Plasma beam, taking partial damage from being close. Bero uses a Little Blue Hunter, it’s homing property aimed at Diatrymon’s eyes. He fires it upwards, so it curves down and strikes from above. Bero stays close the ground and runs towards Diatrymon, using his little blue hunter as a distraction and using his accelerant ignition to run faster. Stacks used = 0 Stacks gained normally = 2 New total Stacks of “Basics Mastery” = 7 Passives: Superior Technique[RAM upgrade GIGA] Combat Passive - Bero’s incredible technique lets him improvise his attacks and abilities, using his natural weapons and traits of his body’s code to great effectiveness.
Active moves: Little blue Hunter(RAM upgrade) Attack - Initiating this attack, Bero charges a powerful blue flame in the tip of one of his cloak claws. Bero jabs his arm forward to point towards the enemy, and his cloak claw follows the gesture. A trail of blue fire erupts from the tip of his claw and heads towards his target. This blue fire can turn slightly to home in on it’s target as it travels up to 30 meters. This attack requires 2 dodges to avoid. If Bero uses this attack against an enemy within 2 meters, the fire trail stops after passing by them and returns to hit them again in the back. The attack does minor damage with each hit and has 1 post cooldown.
Accelerant Ignition Buff - Stoking the fires of his cape with raw energy, Bero covers himself with raging fire which allows him to move about 30% faster and makes touching his cape quite harmful, to the point of enemies dealing minor damage to oneself upon striking Bero with a melee attack. This buff lasts 3 posts and has a cooldown of 5 posts.
Cooldowns: Accelerant Ignition Still active. ⅔ turns duration passed. Cooldown not started. Little blue Hunter used this turn. 0/1 post cooldown passed.

"Good hunting, you two."
So the rookies were daunted enough to pause again? Well that was just fine by Silence. Good hits the forward pair made, but the counterattack was swift. The counter-counterattack was still swifter. "Missile Interceptor!" There was a tank in Deckerdramon's way, but the missile salvo he launched managed to loop safely up and over Tankmon and still yet fly fast enough to meet the incoming flame attack halfway. Against most any champion's incoming attack, those interceptor missiles' detonation should have stopped it in its tracks dead. Some of them missed, but there were just so many that nothing should have gotten through. This was normal. But this one was different, somehow, some way; Tankmon was still burned. "Too many missed!" Deckerdramon immediately attempted to own the mishap as his mistake.
"No, they didn't!" The captain wasn't hearing of it. He could see the missiles' path for himself, and he knew they were at least as spot-on as usual. Examining his own burnt chest, he found it stung - but it was far from incapacitating. "Ngh, that was stronger than it should have been!" Tankmon shook his head. "General, defuse me!"
Rather than ask for details, Tadayoshi trusted his partner. Commandramon was competent, and the fight was too fast for him to get tunnel vision. He crawled up the APC's gunner hole and held out his Loader. "Tankmon, defuse!" He did. Commandramon remained in place. Hagurumon ran (well, levitated) back to the vehicle, whimpering like a baby from fright. "Are you hurt?"
"Aiyeeee!" Hagurumon held out one of their gears. It was completely fine except for a tiny singe at the tip of one spoke. Tadayoshi rolled his eyes.
"Standby."
"Y-yes, sir!"
Hagurumon was going to have to wait for their band-aid. They took a seat. Meanwhile, Commandramon had decided he'd face the Tyranomon alone. But he wasn't Commandramon for long. If this Tyranomon was stronger than most, and there were still rookies to repel, there could be no holes in the defense. It was time to step up. Who says Xros digimon need fusion to thrive? "Commandramon, digivolve to..." Tankmon was already a hulking beast of an armored digimon, but Commandramon had still yet another, stronger tank form to become. "...Tankdramon!" However, this ultimate-level digimon did not disregard his orders. He fired his main cannons at Tyranomon, but there was no attack data infused with this attack to make it stronger like an ability. These were just your average, ordinary, everyday tank shells that, hopefully, wouldn't dust the incoming. "Deckerdramon, watch the little ones!"
"I will."
Yoshi watched the right flank. It seemed well-defended. He glanced at the left flank, which his independent team mates had teamed up to defend. The center was open, but there were still plenty left to defend it. "Pteramon, take to the air and make a scene. We've seen they can get scared." "Yes, sir!" Like the captain, Pteramon was hearty and proud in answer to her orders, as soldier-like as her immediate superior. Her engines spun up, and she took off. "Turuiemon, front and center. You're the first line in the center. And...stay low." "OK." The rabbit stepped up to the edge of the thermal barrier, crouched, and flipped her claws over her fists. These pipsqueaks were but ants to squish in her eyes, should they make her.
But hopefully they would not. Silence had one more trick up its sleeve. "What about me, Yoshi-Yoshi?" the Divermon excitedly pressed.
"Not you. I need you near me." Divermon frowned. "Look out for anything that gets past the advance teams, but your main job is fire control. No sparks!"
Divermon beamed. "I got a job to do?" Tadayoshi grinned. "Yeah, you do, little guy. Now cover your ears. Angel!" Yoshi dropped back through the gunner hole, but he was swiftly replaced by the BlackTerriermon, who manipulated the cannon to aim at the mob of rookies coming down the middle. "Fire when ready!" "Eagle Beam!" Pteramon painted a line in the dirt from high above in front of the Gaossmon using her hot energy beam during her first pass. Hopefully the little things were all smart enough not to cross it, because with her target marked, the trigger-happy black bunny opened fire. Plunk! CRACK! That was the sound of a drum full of flashbang grenades cycling on that line the Gaossmon were about to charge past over the head of Turuiemon, and you better believe she kept that trigger pressed until, Click! "The damn thing is out again!" "Then reload it!" "Well, duh!" Deckerdramon weakened Fire Breath with Missile Interceptor. -Missile Interceptor: This digimon shoots a salvo of missiles at an incoming ranged attack to intercept it and nullify it. Cooldown: 3 posts.
Tankmon was hit by the remnants of Fire Breath. -Armor plating (passive): This digimon is covered in hard metal armor. This reduces all damage taken by about 15%.
Tankmon defused from Hagurumon and digivolved to Ultimate Tankdramon. Tankdramon attacked Tyranomon with a basic shelling attack. Pteramon marked a warning line in the ground in the center with Eagle Beam. -Eagle Beam: From her mouth, this digimon fires a continuous laser beam at her opponent to deal damage. The Silencer fired its Flash Cannon at the herd of rookies in the center. -A ranged defensive measure, firing flash-bang grenades at up to a medium distance. Can disorient Digimon up to your level for one post. Once used, cannot be activated for another two posts. 3/thread limit.
Cooldowns: Missile Interceptor: 3 Flash Cannon: 2
