Shade felt that unease, the unease of a large predator being so close to the other. The presence overwhelming and probably intruding in every venue of thought. Though there was that strange warmth that followed suit after a bit, making the large shadow shift a bit. He could feel the contempt, the regret and fear slowly fade away.
But oh there was the anger, the mount of it that he'd have to gently tend to. That he had to softly caress, pulling at it only in the smallest amounts. THis amount of anger was beyond unhealthy, there wasn't anything in there that was good to this anger, so much self anger and so much elsewhere. He'd try his best to tend to it, taking the time as he needed. He felt the other's confusion at it, softly caring for them as he could.
The memories that he took with all these emotions felt and tasted odd but he enjoyed them. Making the other forget his time as a human, that of the D-reaper. But there was so much that he had to tend to that eventually the sun hung low in the sky and he felt the collar gently hiss as his 'curfew' was technically in effect. But since he was in whitewater he still could continue to be where he was. Gently he'd slip that collar off of his form...
It was smooth, cold, gentle just like him! He'd sigh softly and set his head against the other's as he could feel the state of bliss. One testing claw came up to tilt viktor's head up so he could inspect the other's face. Get a good look at those eyes...
"Fox?"

Soon the memories were all but gone. Time went and the fox only sat, stuck in a state of bliss as he felt like he was floating on clouds. No worries, no fighting... just one object in his mind.
Shade
He’d see only an empty field with the Digimon standing in it. Only him. Only Shade. The fox sighed a bit happily as the day dreaming was broken and Shade inspected him. The fox’s eyes faded and slowly turning black. Perhaps from his magic but... perhaps from Kajunemon. The memories of holding Koneka, of pushing away Ami and others. Of killing several Digimon. They would flood into Shade, they would be his problem to bear for now.
The fox simply smiled blankly up at Shade with a wag of his large, fluffy tail;
”Yes...?”
He seemed entranced by his very words. He seemed eager to do as he was told and obey as directed. Viktor, in this moment, was no more. Not currently.
He was Shade’s fox and nothing else. For now, anyway!

Shade could feel those memories slide into his being, the negative emotions that plagued this other pulled into him. The constant fighting that the other went through was given unto shade and the large wraithmon blinked owlishly as he felt them. But the bliss that rolled through the other was a good sign that what he did worked. Or was working as he continued to pull at those negative emotions and those memories that still 'plagued' viktor.
Shade's eyes sort of continued to inspect the other, he wouldn't keep them long. They seemed to enjoy the bliss he brought, the lack of memories and emotions. He noted the black in the eyes. He could feel those memories of koneka, pushing away from ami. The killing of the digimon felt natural and didn't really make any real problem.
But that blank smile, that fluffy tail wagging? Well that signified something else entirely! That shade could keep working and working, he had never drained as much from someone like this before. He'd turn his head to look at the collar that he had tugged off. Thoughtfully looking to viktor before handing him that same collar that had made him much more passive.
"Put on?"
Shade wanted to see what would happen next... if it did what he thought it did well. This would make the following actions go a lot easier and probably would help him find those negative emotions as well as deal with the mountain of anger he could still feel. Though the idea of this fox being his? Well. That was largerly something he could entertain... Something he wanted to entertain anyways!

The feeling of cloud nine was unbroken by the conversation, as short as it was. The fox gingerly took the collar and snapped it in place, only sighing happily again as he would lean into Shade, letting the last of those emotions and memories go. Maybe... this is what he wanted? To be free of those cancerous feelings that only brought him daily strife. He couldn’t remember what even caused them! He... couldn’t even remember who he was?
It didn’t matter. The fox gave a soft sway as he continued to let his memories and darker emotions be siphoned out, leaving him still in that blissful state. But as Shade would take those emotions and memories... he’d suddenly feel a cold chill run down his spine. Like a pair of eyes locked onto him from behind. Soon, everything would appear in a void of such, should Shade continue.
There would stand a fox. Tails flowing like fire and sword clasped tightly to his hip. He would growl at Shade, looking to him;
”Cease your actions immediately.”
Give the memories Shade siphoned, he would recognize this as Kajunemon. But... he wasn’t approaching. In fact, it seemed like he took a small step back... like an invisible wall was pushing him backwards. Inch by inch. The collar working it’s ‘magic’.
”You will not receive a second warning.” he spoke as he backed up a tad more.

Shade tilted his head a little bit, curious to see what would happen with the fox if they put the collar on. Once it snapped in place the wraithmon gently tapped at it with a finger. He felt those emotions and memories go into him. Grinning just a bit as he felt those slip away into an abyss of hunger. The feelings of the other also made him somewhat curious, they couldn't seem to pull any emotions or memories up. There was even a bit of confusion at not knowing who they were until...
Well that blissful state continued on, forward and more forward as shade simply sat there. Taking in all that food as he would call it. Exhaling softly and leaning back. He could feel some eyes on him and a cold chill down his spine. The wraithmon blinked and asked himself... did he even have a spine that could be chilled? But he continued forward, that void yawning up to grab at him. Shade recognized the place, it was of the mind from what he could recal.
He had seen this in some mons, where they went for 'happier' times or the like. But there was that fox that he could see in front of him. Tails flowing like fire, that sword clasped to his hip. He'd tilt his head slightly as the other spoke to him. Telling him to cease his actions. There was the gentle thought that shade projected.
"Shade is helping fox."
His voice was honest, earnest and the identity of this being wasn't lost on him. He'd quietly 'stand' in this void and sort of approach that 'wall'. He'd furrow his brows at the 'warning' that the other gave. So this wall was pushing the other back and it seemed... flimsy? Maybe? Shade huffed a bit. Trying to see what the fox would look like unarmed, imagining what they would look like without a sword.
"Shade is not doing anything wrong! Fox should relax! Let shade work. Will be good for fox."

Kajunemon narrowed his eyes, winced a tad as he brought the sword up again, only for it to be completely removed from his hand. He’d cross his arms and tilt his head, a tad confused. He’d push on the wall a tad,
”Helping? By sapping away his memories and leaving him your plaything?”
He’d adjust his armor and lean a tad closer, ”Relinquish your hold or be held accountable.”
The fox widened his stance, ready to break that glass. Then would look around;
”Surely you know that Viktor and I are one? That eventually I will take over remove you. Make this easier on the three of us.”
He tapped the glass, ”Unless you’re looking for a fight.”
The fox made himself clear. But would Shade adhere to his demands? He’d have to break the seal first, and this could be done relatively easy this early on. The longer he went, the harder it would become. But... Shade didn’t need to know that. Kajunemon readied a fist, giving the Digimon one last chance to obey!

"Shade only eats negative memories and emotions. But cannot control everything he eats."
Shade huffed a bit and stared at the other as they pushed against the wall. He'd frown quietly and flick his ears as the other told him that he should relinquish his hold. Was he talking about the collar?
"Shade just met fox. Fox needed help. So shade is helping fox. Collar makes it hard to think bad things. So did that while feeding."
Another pause and the wraithmon nervously pushed up against the glass, staring at the kajunemon. He didn't know that he and viktor were one, that he would take over and remove him. Shade wasn't looking for a fight, fighting wasted energy he probably couldn't get back.
"Fox is impatient. Shade didn't know. Surely fox felt anger from the other? How unhealthy that much anger is?"
There was a long silence and the champion tier simply gripped at the collar in the 'real' so to speak. He'd have to fiddle with it to remove it but honestly this 'whatever' it was didn't trust him.
"Shade remove collar. Fox calm down. Shade explain self? Yes yes?"
Honestly what else was he supposed to do, he never really ran into a being like this. He needed to explain more and maybe he could get this fox to ease up. Memories and negative emotions were his target as well as helping out the fox that was so overburdened with them that he could feel them from so far away!

Kajunemon didn’t speak, he simply stared at the strange creature with a gaze so strong he likely could feel it burning away at his psyche. But, with him attempting to explain, the Ronin relented, rematerializing his sword. Perhaps... he was wrong about Shade. Perhaps.
As they shifted into the ‘real’ world, Viktor only blinked, his eyes coming to and his ears folding. He looked up at Shade and gave a look of mild confusion and concern,
”W-where am I? Who are you?” he looked down at his paws wrapped in those purple warmers, ”Who... am I?”
It was clear now that Shade had indeed eaten memories. Perhaps too many as the fox didn’t even know his name! Truly the fox that walked into that alley was gone... now something- or someone, entirely new was standing before him.
The fox rubbed his eyes and head, wanting to be scared but... feeling a bit more calm and comforted around the Digimon. He would scoot up a bit, trying to stay close in the dark alley. Despite still being in his lap!
”You must be a friend. I can trust you!” the fox sniffed and hugged into his smooth skin, maybe accidentally squishing an eye or two. No longer was that ‘gaze’ directed to Shade; but instead the fox simply stared and flicked his tail back and forth at his mere sight.
”Oh... uhm... what’s my name? What’s your name?”
It wasn’t child-like innocents. But... it was something much better than what followed him in!

Shade tilted his head, blinking a few times as the other felt that burning. He'd flick an ear and look around however once they were out in the real world. He'd slowly pull his hands away from the collar, noting that he had dug some divets into it. He'd sigh softly.
"Whitewater. Shade. You are fox. Viktor."
The wraithmon blinked a few times again, noting that he might of gorged himself a bit too much with the other but honestly it was hard to gauge what you were taking when so much was negative. He'd frown lightly at feeling the other scoot in his lap. The wraithmon simply sighed again and placed his hands re-assuringly ont he other's shoulders.
"A friend? Shade is a helper but friend works too-"
Then there was that hug, shade grimaced a bit and simply retracted the affected eyes. he'd have to check them for hairs later. He'd pause once more and gingerly pat the top of the other's head trying to process what was happening.
"Fox is Viktor, Or just fox if fox want's. Shade is shade."
He could tell this was going to be a long haul, maybe he could take him back to his pad for the moment? To make sure that this fox didn't end up getting mucked with by the pains of whitewater.

‘Viktor’... this sounded familiar... like... this was his name? As he scooted, the fox felt... something else. More eyes? He wasn’t sure and didn’t question it, he simply stayed where he was for now.
”Is this fox’s born name or a name you’ve given to fox!”
He couldn’t help but sort of mimic his new friends way of talking. Not so much as an insult but as a... sort of friendliness. Viktor looked down at his paws and then back up at Shade,
”I could have guessed that!”
Viktor sighed again, dropping the faked way of talking as he felt it was too exhausting. looking around and seeming much more happy as he stood up from Shade’s lap and walked to the street, ”Whitewater! I’ve... been here before I think?”
He began walking but stopped just short as he turned around to smile to Shade, then waiting for him! Viktor didn’t know why, but he felt safe around this ‘Shade’... like he was going to keep him safe. The much happier fox didn’t want to leave behind his new friend it seemed!
”Wherever we are, I am hungry!” the fox said with a more cheerful than complaining tone! Shade’s effect worked...
...perhaps a bit too well?

"Born name Shade believes. Would simply call fox fox."
Shade shifted under the fox, carefully placing those arms to where he was sort of 'hugging' the other. Making sure to sort of go over the other with his eyes, the demeanor definitely changed from the first bit and from that other fox. The mimicry of shade made him pause and he couldn't help but crack an odd grin.
"that shade is a friend?"
The wraithmon gingerly took those paws, running his claws over those digits curiously. This fox was definitely.. different. More innocent but less innocent than 'innocence'. In a nice way though!. Shade would shift a bit however when the fox got out of his lap, quickly the wraithmon would follow suit.
"Fox was here before."
He'd confirm their question and raised his brows slightly, having his 'facial' eyes be slightly visible for a moment before he'd clack his teeth at the other's statement at being hungry. He was surprised this worked so well and he'd lumber forward. Gently moving to pull the fox along.
"Shade knows somewhere fox can eat. Is shade's... Nest?"
It would be safer than walking around with the fox in open daylight. Shade also would of course have to slip that collar off of the fox and back on himself at some point... Wouldn't want them to leave and have the rehabilitation crew freak out of course!

The sounds of the street kept Viktor from taking any more steps forward. He’d turn to face Shade as he answered the questions as best he could, still with that wholesome smile stretched ear to ear;
”Fox...? You can call me whatever you wish, friend!” he continued walking abit as he peaked out and then sighed, touching his stomach as it complained to him about its want for food. He was about to mention it again when Shade mentioned something that cause his pointed ears to perk clean up! A place to eat! But... wait where?
”Your... nest? Like your house!” he clapped his paws together and leaned on the lizard-like Digimon. ”That sounds awesome!”
Viktor’s large tail swished a bit faster as he walked over to stay close to Shade, still fascinated by the eyes that stretched around his body. He honestly found them kind of cute the way they peered around and would break eye contact when he would look at one directly. It was like a little game of cat and mouse in a strange, ocular kind of way.
He’d squint and widen his eyes, continuing his visual game with Shade as likely the Digimon would have no idea what he was doing. This would continue as he followed Shade back to his home and would wait to be led inside. Whatever happened between now and then, well, Viktor would try to stop him!
New friends and new places were always exciting.
