Nox couldn't belie what he was hearing, he couldn't fucking believe what he was bloody hearing as the orange cat next to him, scratched her and just bluntly spat out her sentence again like it wasn't a nightmare. "Yup, lost the map accordingly, I have no idea where we are, just said it beforehand."
"YOU IDIOT."
"Annnd there it is." Nox's twin, Sol would reply, whipping around to face her brother's outraged face. "Keep on whining without doing anything to help.." She'd snark, but the rabbit wasn't in the mood. The'd been travelling for what felt like forever, or in at least by Nox's definition. Desperate to get away from that disgusting wrench of a town they called home, Nox was rather sceptical but also relief when Sol announced they where leaving. Any of that relief when Sol clearly had no idea where she was going, also, apparently! She'd just lost the map as well! Yay! This was all going swimmingly. It had just been weeks worth of bickering back and fourth if they'd where actually getting anywhere, and the answer soon make itself aware; fuck no.
Nox's face was dripping rage, but he couldn't complete loose his shit, someone here had to be adult, and yet again, it was him, when wasn't it him? The Lunamon would just snatch his sister's bag and began vigorously going throw it, his stress levels slowly building up.
...S..She was right, the map was gone, no where in sight! The bloody dumbass had lost it! Goddamn it!
"Your an absolute garbagecat! You had one job! And you cannot even manage that! Can you?!" He continued to rant, but the Coronamon just rolled her eyes, blowing fur out of her face. "Blah, blah, blah, I get, I fucked up, whatever, let's move on." She hissed at him, sharing his angered gaze. "No, no - this isn't a fuckup, this a disaster! Our lives could be at risk here!" He would growl. "Oh come down princess, if anyone tries anything I'll break them, make em wish they never left the house this morning." She said smugly, cleaning her nails a bit. Nox's eye would twitch, but he kept his tongue, not wanting to continue this shitty argument anymore. "All your horrid mistakes aside, do you even have a slight clue where we are?" He'd question her, actually genuinely confused.
The loin would blink a bit before looking around. Place seemed to be some kinda... Training grounds? Actually yeah! A lot like one, and the more she started to sight-see, the bigger her grin was getting. "Wh - What's with that look?" Nox would snap at his sister. But Sol would just smile and turn to her older sibling, smug as ever. "Well, my dear brother I think we've ended up at the wonderful Spartan Training Grounds." She grinned, claw on her chin. Nox's face was written with annoyance. "That dump!" He cried, both paws on his face. "...Well at least we actually an idea of where we are..." He add, muttering. "That's the spirit, bro." She mocked, starting to take a closer look around.
"But if something happens to us, this is all your fault!" He pouted, but she just shrugged his swords as she cracked her knuckles a bit. "Oh trust me, I'll be the one happening here." That sentence was vague enough to both worry and annoy the Lunamon as he rushed after her, not wanting to start something stupid, like a fight.

Bero’s days in the training grounds had always been very exciting. A Blackguilmon with strange data, an Impmon and Shamamon in the same day under a viral sun… He really should be visiting the place more! And so he was visiting it more. Like every single time, the BlackGabumon was always a unique display. How so? Well, what made sure he was noticeable amongst all the other rookies and practising folk was the constant blue flame that enshrouded the entirety of his cloak. Most rookies just had the ability to breath fire, ice, or enshroud their hands or weapons in the element of their choice. But Bero felt above them, stronger, with the ability to render his cloak permanently aflame.
His steps were light, as he was one of the smallest rookies around, despite the whole blue fire thing going on. However, his size did not mean he didn’t cause other rookies some caution. He had gotten somewhat infamous around here, with getting in plenty of fights. His every step between the groups of rookies or attempts to come closer to any training tools would often be met with most Rookies just avoiding him. Could they beat him together? Easily. Was it worth the effort? No.
Bero was a bit annoyed. Digimon were starting to catch on to avoiding him instead of falling for his taunts. He cracked his knuckles in irritation as his cape dragged over the ground, leaving small black marks in the direction he walked. Not a single scratch on his body. No fights, no fun, no proof of improvement in a whole day. Completely recovered from all the previous fights! The Spartan Training grounds had better deliver, or he was going to be livid soon enough.
He found some new targets. A Coronamon which seemed almost as fiery as the blue fires that rested on his cape, and a Lunamon that accompanied her. He had arrived close enough to listen to them talk right as Coronamon voiced her appreciation towards the Spartan Training grounds. She ensured what seemed to be her brother that ‘she’d be the one happening here.’
“Oh? You’ll be the one happening? Good. I’ve been looking for an event worthy of notice. Ah, the setup is so lame though. It’s just the two of you, standing out there in the nothing?! You look about as imposing as a lost Nyaromon like this! Or was this not the event I'm looking for? It looks more like some Gaudy fashion show. You two do know what the word ‘Training Grounds’ mean, right?” Bero happily grinned as he spoke aloud, a small distance away from the two twins, grinning while on fire. Every word in his voice was dripping with Sarcasm, vile intent and goading tone. He wanted to insult the two and everything he said was tailored to do so. He also made sure to speak in a rather constant speed so he’d be hard to interrupt.

The Coronamon's head would almost instantly snapped in the direction of the BlackGabumon as he started to speak, her grin widen and eyes dripping with questionable intent, a want of bloodshed. "Well fuck Nox, guess today's my lucky day, cause pint-size here seems to want a taste of me and well..." She trailed off, her tone increasing in smugness. "...Who am I to deny him that right? Huh?" She asked, her brother just in her range of sight. Nox looked about as impressed as he would watching paint dry. "Okay, yup, congratulations, your both Real Big Kids who can throw mean words at each other, so, we gonna end it here or it is going to escalate to a schoolyard brawl? Or do you both contain enough brains cells to not reach that point yet?" He pondered, his words laced with sarcasm as he yawned. He wasn't very fond of the dumb shit Bero had said, especially about his choice in fashion, but at least he had a taste, he'd just let this shit slide for know.
"Fuck you, I'm fighting tiny here." Sol said flipping him off, which Nox gladly returned. "Yeah, well, I tired, go fight world's most vulgar piece of charcoal I guess, see how that turns out." The Lunamon just rolled his eyes and furthered himself away from her, and well, the action as he began cleaning out his rather well done nails. "Thought if you like die, because you always underestimate everyone, and lack any form of tactics, I will laugh, hard." The rabbit snarked calmly, giving her the biggest shit-eating grin he could muster.
"Well, unlike you, you pussy I'm not afraid to get dirty..." She grinned, facing Bero, her forehead flame sparking and dancing along with her tail as she faced him. "I hope he breaks your stupid face for losing my map." He argued back, but Sol was just blocking her brother out by this point.
"So tell me shorty." She started, eyes on Bero. "What's ya name? Just curious before I fucking smear your code among the training grounds." She laughed, bloodlust in her gaze.

Much like how Bero had been regularly visiting the training grounds for the past while, there had been yet another digimon that was spending their days here. A little Chapmon - which was quite an unusual sight, usually in-training digimon around were either in the Village of Beginnings, or being watched over by some parental figure. But... This Chapmon was neither - she seemed to have no interest in going to the Village of Beginnings, nor did she have any parents, much to the confusion and concern of some of the digimon here - and any attempt to escort her home would be met with angry insisting that she was fine, or even a blast of water to the face!
Thus, many of the digimon here figured to leave this Chapmon alone - as much of an oddity she was - unless she approached them first. Which, she occasionally did - sparring with the local rookies - even if it usually resulted in her getting her ass kicked, unless the rookie had the courtesy to hold back or take on their in-training form first. In fact, that was what was happening right now - the Chapmon in a spar with a Koromon, the two small digimon bouncing around on their little space in the training grounds, smacking into eachother, and trading blasts of bubbles and water. It wasn't too long before the fight wrapped up, though - the Koromon, having been tiring, coming close to bite at her and try to end the spar quickly - until she surprised him with a blast of water, sending him tumbling backwards onto the dirt.
"Ow! Okay, okay, that's enough for me...." The Koromon would remark with a wince, "Good fight though," He would add, digivolving back to his base ToyAgumon form, before wandering off to take a breather. The Chapmon - a smug and somewhat nihilistic soul named Mimi - would puff her chest at this - she was getting better by the minute, it wouldn't be long until she reached Rookie for sure! She, too, would go to get some water and rest her muscles though - until she noticed something off to the side, a trio of digimon?
Normally, Mimi didn't really give a damn what other digimon would be up to - but given that she didn't have much to do while she took a breather, she figured that there wouldn't be much wrong watching a couple of Rookies bash eachother into the ground. Particularly the BlackGabumon - a little different from most she was used to - and Coronamon seemed raring to fight, whereas the Lunamon just seemed exasperated. Mimi would hop over to the Lunamon's side - but didn't say anything to Nox specifically, instead just watching to see what the two flaming digimon would do and commenting "Someone call the fire brigade, we've got a couple of spitfire badasses over here..." to herself with a soft snicker.

Would anyone believe that Nereid had seen enough wrestling on TV to want to go watch people train in digital life? Not Titania. But she wanted to stop by the training grounds anyway. The child had wished to watch people train, and as they arrived and began to look for a place to watch people go about their regiment?
The Kazemon overheard some pretty rowdy banter, and the Syakomon in her arms quickly made a noise. "Hey, mom, I think people are gonna do that wrestling thing."
"You think? It just sounds like people going at each other." The Kazemon explained, before Nereid slithered out of her grasp and slid over to where the action was. Lo and behold, it was...A pair of twins... "Oh, wow! Hey, mom, these two Digimon look like Filia and Grandpa!"
The fairy continued after the Syakomon, before she skidded to a halt. "...Yes, but that's not them. The hell's going on here?" It was likely that nobody else here actually knew them. But they were here and ready to watch whatever went down without having any involvement whatsoever, woooooo.

Bero let out a rambunctious laughter at Nox’s comment, but he let the two finish their talking and sassing each other before starting himself. He waited with baited breath as he was called tiny, vulgar, piece of charcoal, and the like. But Bero didn’t let it bother him. If they hated him, all the better he could expect them to fight him. That’s exactly what he went for. But they were so chatty to each other, annoying each other at every turn and moment. They simply had to be twins, only people closely related could get on each other’s nerves so easily.
As the Coronamon asked for his name, he grinned and with all the confidence in the world, raised his expression, looking her in the eye with a confidence that could make a security camera seem meek. He had no intention of telling her his name, and he would gladly tell her it.. “Earn it.”
They gathered a few people watching, then again, when hadn’t Bero gathered at least one onlooker? It was completely normal for him to surround himself with enemies and random people interested in a look, ifnot only because the blue flames on his cape was a spectacle. He wasn’t done with the Coronamon and the Lunamon. As a matter of fact ,he wasn’t ever ready to start! “I see poor mister fancy thinks this is still the schoolyard life! It’s astonishing that you made it to Rookie, considering your attitude! Didn't anyone tell you? It's combat through which we get what we want most. Any case, it’s a shame just one of you wanted to fight me. I’m looking for a fair fight, and just fighting one Digimon of what i presume is a twin… isn’t a fight that’ll teach me anything…”
He took an idle gaze at nox, who clearly wasn’t interested in fighting. This annoyed him, but he would at least try a few more choice words before giving up on battling both of them at the same time. Winning was of less interest to him than doing his best and learning something, so he tried this one last taunt. “Then again, if you waste your time on something as worthless and impractical as your fashion… i suppose I'd learn just as much fighting both of you as I'd learn fighting one of you or none of you!”

Sol would blink a bit as Bero didn't give her a name, but it was still a answer. Huh, fair enough, yeah, she'd earned it! She'd just give him a smug grin. "Fair enough bucko."
On the otherhand, Nox's face would almost go into some sort of shock as his left eye started twitch, rather rapidly. Bingo, Bero had hit a nerve alright. "How DARE you - you shitty bootlegged undersized Unimon - I'll make you choke on those words you smug piece of shit!" He'd suddenly snap, it becoming clear that the little Luna valued his clothing and his jewellery heavily and it probably one of the few things that set him off.
Sol would just kinda slowly look between him and Bero. "Holy shit, you set him off - wait does that mean you'll fight em with me?" She said with a toothy grin, and before she could get another word in he'd glare at her and spit a "YES." She'd just nodded. "Sweet."
"Because, his IMBECILE-"
"OOkkay, here we go with the rant I guess."
"-Has no idea of fashion or even the idea of what it means to look like your worth's someone's time and I will not be mocked it for it! My tastes are beyond this stupid pathetic little brain's idea of a-"
"Oh my god would you just CAN IT and fight him already?" Sol would hissed, clearly getting very impatient as she tapped her foot on the ground. All this yelling and no fighting was starting to tick her off, she wanted to start know and her brother was taking fucking-forever.
He'd give her a nasty look, but just hold his tongue and flip his hair behind his back like a lock of hair as he gave Bero a cold glare. "Start off with something easy Sol, test out the waters first before rushing head in, see what the opponent's move-set is." He'd say to her quietly, but she just roll her eyes. "Yeah, yeah, blah, blah - don't waste everything on that first go, I know."
She'd give her brother one last look before she'd be quickly start - running at Bero with sharp claws ready as she would attempt to swipe him. Her brother on the other hand wouldn't be bothered putting himself in such danger yet and simply hold his hand out, pointed at Bero as a beam of ice would emerge from his paw.
SOL;
ATTACKS: Claws: Using her long sharp claws, she runs at her target and swipes with them.
NOX;
ATTACKS: Icy Blast: Nox shoots a beam of ice from his palms.

The Chapmon would bounce to the side as Nox and Sol seemed to rise to Bero's taunts and challenging - heh, everyone here seemed to have a temper, didn't they? Mimi rolled her eyes at the two twins that leaped right into combat with the BlackGabumon, and would hop towards a tree to hang out underneath it, near the Kazemon and Syakomon who were spectating as well. She couldn't help but sour a tiny bit at the Kazemon though - yeah, show off your champion form so casually, why don't you? - feeling perhaps a hint of envy.
It wasn't like she wouldn't inevitably reach that stage - but seeing this Kazemon going around casually as a champion implied further strength, to be able to hold that form in the first place, and well... Mimi couldn't help but be a hair envious over it.
She wouldn't linger on it for too long though, glancing to Nox and Sol just in time to see the moves they let loose. It seemed that the two had different but complementary styles - at least at a first glance, judging by Sol going up close and personal with claws, and Nox firing an ice beam from afar. How would the BlackGabumon adapt and fight against this?

Nereid's attention was quick to wander allover the place. She lost interest in the fight quickly, and noticed something peculiar. That Digimon looked like her other mom, but different in more ways than one. She slithered out of Titania's grip, the Kazemon not really paying too much heed to it.
In fact...
"Deck him in the jaw and steal his pelt! That's a fitting punishment for insulting the sense of fashion!" ...The empress empathized with the Lunamon's ire towards the Gabumon. Yeah, whatever would happen? Bero had it coming. Meanwhile...
Nereid slid up towards Mimi and opened her shell. "Hi! I'm Nereid! Who're you?" The green mollusk of a Digimon inquired towards the ModokiBetamon (X) before the fight truly began in earnest. Two against one? Huh, this could prove interesting after all!

As long as those watching didn’t want to interfere directly, they did not exist in Bero’s eyes. For right now, there was just a Coronamon that really wanted to fight, and a Lunamon… whom after a change in expression and firing up, suddenly did want to fight. They were both taller than him, but that didn’t scare off Bero. Upon the notion of the Lunamon angrily telling his sister that he’d fight alongside her, Bero gave his own reply. “Good. I was hoping to learn something today. I might just see a good fight.”But then would follow a rant. Was it the rant to beat all rants? No, not really. Bero was sure he could do better if it’d give him the fight. Clearly the Lunamon was just offended, and not something more than that. They weren’t meant for insulting or luring others into combat. Which means he shouldn’t raise the bar too high for this fight, even if the Coronamon was willing to go into it and seemed rather brash. Hell and beyond, that Lunamon sure wanted to go at it, didn’t he? Well, at least it seemed the Coronamon was more willing to battle. The impatience was on both sides. Bero was tapping his foot. “Let’s hope you fight better than you rant, Prissy boy!” The cold glare was returned with an equally cold and calculating glare. They may not be planning to reveal everything they got, But Bero knew better than to hide everything. Versus twins, things could go downhill fast. Be quick, be decisive. Make it count and make it count as quick as possible. Bero approached Sol as she approached him, Fire building in his horn. Right before she swept at him, Fire leapt out of his horn and created a shield over the much smaller Bero. The shield pushed away and burned Sol as a punishment for coming so close to Bero, meanwhile expanding until it surrounded Bero from every side! Even Nox’s ice attack would be lost to the shield, the ice practically vanishing into a cloud of steam against the blue fire causing a loud hissing. Bero leaped out from the blue fires just a split second before if vanished, having moved to the side and moving around the Coronamon to the best of his capabilities. His Cape seemed more aflame than it did before, and the blue fire raging on his back aided him in his steps. He used his increased speed to rush away from the Coronamon, and start closing the gap on the Lunamon! Bero blocked both Claws and Icy Blast using Azure Zenith. Azure Zenith retaliates and tries to burn Sol. While in the fire of Azure Zenith, Bero uses Accelerant Ignition to buff his speed by 30%. Bero Dodges around Sol and starts running towards Nox. Stacks of “Basics Mastery” = 5 Passives: Superior Technique[RAM upgrade GIGA] Combat Passive - Bero’s incredible technique lets him improvise his attacks and abilities, using his natural weapons and traits of his body’s code to great effectiveness. Bero starts each combat with 5 stacks of ‘Basics Mastery’ and every round he is in combat he gains 2 more stacks. He can hold a maximum of 15 stacks. Using 5 stacks allows him to empower one basic attack to deal damage equal to a named attack with a 1-turn cooldown. This attack counts as Bero’s named attack (or one of his named attacks, incase he’s 1 vs twins) for the post it is used. Other passives may give him more stacks of ‘Basics Mastery’ or methods to use it.
Flame Coat Combat Passive - Naturally capable of lighting his entire coat aflame, Bero makes sure to always fight with this fire backing him up. As long as this passive is in effect, Bero’s coat is covered in hot blue flames, and he can control the claws on his coat freely as if they were two extra sets of limbs. He can stretch out these limbs like rubber, using them to increase the reach of his basic attacks, and allow him to interact with objects or digimon from a distance. The elastic nature of his cloak allows him to attack up to 5 meters away, or about 5x the expected distance the limbs could reach. These limbs are strong enough for him to pull himself up by them or push himself off the ground using them. Due to being constantly aflame, they increase the damage of his basic attacks using these arms by 10%. While the hot flames of his coat are dangerous, they do not actually deal significant damage when merely touched. Active moves: Azure Zenith Defense - A small gout of flame rises from Bero’s horn before quickly creating a thin wall of flame all around Bero to protect him with, this defends him against rookie level attacks and reduces damage of champion level attacks by 50%, and also damages opponents who use melee attacks for minor damage. This ability blocks for a duration of 1 turn. This ability has a cooldown of 4 posts.
Accelerant Ignition Buff - Stoking the fires of his cape with raw energy, Bero covers himself with raging fire which allows him to move about 30% faster and makes touching his cape quite harmful, to the point of enemies dealing minor damage to oneself upon striking Bero with a melee attack. This buff lasts 3 posts and has a cooldown of 5 posts.
Cooldowns: Accelerant Ignition: used this turn! 1 / 3 turns duration passed. Cooldown not started Azure Zenith: Used this turn! 0 / 4 posts cooldown passed.
