A disgruntled noise bubbled up from deep in Roger's throat at the question about he had been up to. His antenna gave a decidely irritated twitch as he reared up to survey the little park area like a periscope. "I mean, if watching Hiroyo get the lecturing of her life and doing odd jobs around are interesting, then sure. Why, just yesterday we helped a mob of fresh rookies find books at the library! Amazing."
Morgan rolled his eyes at Roger's sarcastic tone. He too scanned the area, looking for a table. "There is worth in reforging the bonds between us into something stronger." He stated simply. His head raised a little further and then he nodded in the direction of the giant table with the Champions. "Behind the large group there is a table that should fit our needs."
Just around the Elephamon and Cockatrimon that took up the majority of the room could be spotted glimps of a table. In between the two larger champions an Opossummon could be seen talking and gesturing with his free hand while his balloons waved over head. Occasionally he'd hop upwards and his balloons would carry him slowly back dwon to the tabletop while the other two laughed. It looked like he was telling quite the tales!
Meanwhile Hiroyo was very determinedly wearing a smile as she led Leo toward a shop that bordered the plaza. Unlike shops in the human world it appeared that the main door here was the size of a garage door, no, as it retracted upward to let a customer out and a whiff of freshly baked goods drifted out it beame clear it was a garage door.
Hiroyo wouldn't lead Leo straight too it though. Instead she would step off to the side in front of the store's big front window, the words 'Ninjabread sold here!' scrawled across it in icing like font. The red head took a deep breath as she looked at the display of donuts and eclairs and cookies inside.
True to the words scrawled on the window there were a plate of gingerbread cookies shaped and carefully iced to resemble Kougamon and Igamon.
"Hey so, this is the place, obviously. They make some of the pastries, but stay away from their surprise-flavors." She scrunched up her nose and turned to Leo to show the blond her look of disgust and horror. "Apparently surprise flavors around here is codeword for 'welcome to the horrifying flavors of digimon cooking! Like, shrimp and apricot cream danishes."
She led the way into the bakery, stepping in after a crowd of Floramon pushed out. The smell of freshly cooked cake filled the area - tantalizing whiffs of chocolate and vanilla, strawberry and lemon filling the air. "I put a cake on standby but uh, now I"m not sure it's going to be enough actually. Maybe some cupcakes too?"
