So the plan would be to leave the station, and move for Human-Mei's apartment? Patrasche was quiet for a moment, but would slowly nod in agreement. Getting someplace safer, and less chaotic than what must be going on up above, would likely be the best choice of action - and would also be the least stressful for the Labramon. So many digimon in one place, let alone a place they weren't supposed to be... They had a feeling that would just be a recipe for trouble, if a fight did break out in the midst of the chaos.
And yet... The idea of pretending to be pets, well... "... I don't know how well I could, uhm, pretend..." Patrasche would admit quietly. "My fur, it... It changes colors in reaction to sunlight, moonlight, or the absence of either. I have a feeling that, well... That someone might notice my fur changing, and realize I'm not just a normal pet." Frowning softly, Patrasche glanced down to their front paws, before back up at Human-Mei and Meicoo-Mei, asking "Do.. either of you think that this might be a problem...?" Certainly, Patrasche didn't want to be a problem to others, if they could help it... Especially not when these people were all being so nice to them, and trying so hard to help them!

...they are mostly Child-level? Then I am needed more than I thought. I cannot bear to think having so many lost children in one place. Please, you must let me go to them." Inari seemed very alarmed, and for a moment forgot Patrasche's conondrum entirely. But the Labramon's words quickly pulled her attention back. She took a deep breath to calm herself. "A problem it is, but not one we can fault you for. And there is a simple solution for it. If we put a blanket over your back then people do not see enough of your fur to quickly realize the changes."

"I think regardless we should try to get out from here first, you know?" Mei commented. "I think we can cover you with some blanket later on... it's quite easy. Don't worry! I think there are too many Digimons outside for everyone to really pay full attention to you honestly... so I think it's really isn't a full problem."
Not for now anyway. Looks like that they're all agreed to get out from here. Mei thought of probably substitute any blanket for her own sweater if it absolutely come to it where all shops are closed because it's golden week, including the 24/7 open one. But either way... Mei pressed the elevator and ushered the rest to come with her. The moment they came out from the station... indeed, there are quite a lot of Digimons there. Mei does not even bother with the sight of some people, ad proceed to pretend as if nothing happened. She purposely avoided some of the crowd, but also picking the side where there are enough Digimon to use as diversion.
"...Come, Patra-chan, let's follow Mei!" Mei the Meicoomon told her friend.

Ah... That was true; there were so many digimon, that it was likely Patrasche would probably be overlooked by a brunt of the crowd. The Labramon would quietly nod in response, understanding Mei's logic; though... The idea of a large crowd of digimon, in a place that could certainly cause chaos, still had Patrasche feeling unsure. Glancing over to Inari, too, Patrasche would frown briefly, murmuring "Would... they all really be that young?" in a questioning tone. Not every adult stayed at their highest form, after all, for varying reasons - and a small digimon would probably be more approachable to a human, than a large one.
Regardless, as they made for the lift, Patrasche would be close behind; sticking close to both Meis all the while. Their presences were, admittedly, soothing to Patrasche; that feeling that they'd be alright, that they were not alone. They'd be quiet but calm as the lift would rise, up up up - before dinging and opening at ground level. With Human-Mei leading the way, and Meicoo-Mei ushering them to follow, Patrasche would nod - "Mhmm, 'm coming..." - and follow behind the duo...
... "Mama, Mama, look - that one's like a little bird! And that one's like a little dinosaur!"
"I... I see that, dear."
Suzume wasn't sure what she expected to see, today, when she would go outside to enjoy Golden Week with Mama. But, it certainly wasn't this - but it was great! So many colorful animals, so many things she'd never seen before! And they TALKED! They were like Pokemon, but better! She just wanted to hug and pat every single one of these talking animals that she came across - but Mama would simply keep guiding her along by the hand, the older woman unsure of what to make of these creatures that her daughter was so enthused over.
"Mama, what's that one over there??"
"I'm not sure, darling, but let's... Let's keep walking and not bother the nice... Creatures, please." Oh, Hifumi certainly hoped they were nice. They seemed to be, at least; playing about with eachother and chatting with whoever would approach, but...
"... -gasp- MAMA! That one's a puppy, with a kitty too! Let's go say hi to them!"
"S-Suzume!"
... the poor mother would be interrupted from her thoughts when Suzume would manage to slip away from her - approaching what, indeed, appeared to be a... Puppy and a kitty, indeed, with two others. Hifumi would be quick to follow after Suzume, though - hoping to stop her daughter before she caused any trouble; the little child was already hyped up with everything what was going on...
"Hi Puppy! Hi Kitty!"
Patrasche, startled, would freeze in place; glancing up to see a rather young-looking human girl running up to them, and a somewhat exasperated mother following behind. "Suzume, sweetie, you can't be running off like that.." The mother would briefly scold, the child - Suzume - blinking in the mother's direction, before a bit of realization would flash on her face. "Oh! Right, uhm... I'm sorry, Mama." Suzume would apologize - to which the mother would sigh, only being able to smile briefly as she responded "It's okay, dear..." It was impossible to stay cross at Suzume for long, after all.
Hifumi would reach down to take Suzume's hand once more, before glancing to the Meis, Patrasche, and Inari - briefly nodding to them as she murmured "I apologize for the trouble, my daughter's just... Been excited by this strange occurrence; and she really likes dogs and cats - dogs especially, - so..." Hifumi glanced down - to see Suzume staring at Patrasche with definite interest; whereas Patrasche appeared unsure, worried. The gears in the little girl's head seemed to definitely turning, though - and would slowly crouch down a bit, and extend a hand in Patrasche's direction. "Hi Puppy, it's okay..!" She'd chirp with a warm, happy smile. "I just want to be friends!"
... Friends? Patrasche would blink briefly - unsure of what the gesture that Suzume made, extending her hand like that, was about - but... They'd quietly observe Suzume for a second, before approaching to sniff her hand. "Uhm... Hi there," They'd softly respond - making Suzume's expression light up even brighter than it already was. "A talking puppyyyy...!" She'd quietly squeal to herself, giggling giddily.

Inari entered the events of Golden Week blindly. No one had told her such a thing had been planned by the Digimon of the Digital World. She would have loved to help organize such meet and greets. It made her pout a slight bit. ...regardless, it was not as tense and as bad as she had feared, so she calmed down a bit. Just then, a little girl and her mother approached, the young girl clearly interested by the dog. It brought back cheer to Inari's face. She faced the girl's mother with her vulpine face, and nodded at her. "There is no trouble, Miss. An open mind is a good thing to have, especially to animals, like those talking ones that have turned up. Heh, and I am quite well familiar with energetic children, myself." Then, she crouched down to look at Suzume. "Do you want to be friends with the talking puppy? Maybe, if you ask him nicely, he will agree."

"Mei," Mei just greeted the cheerful girl with a wave of her paw. Well, she overheard about them talking how they saw talking animals... So she guess it's fine to just... to just show herself isn't it? The Meicoomon looked at the kid. She's like one of those kids who pets her regularly and gave her snacks whenever she took some strolls. This girl felt like one of them.
"...Mmmm... So this girl... ano, Suzume-chan was it, Suzume-chan likes dogs is it?" Mei (the Meicoomon) parroted. "Well, Mei is not sure about leaving Patra-chan just yet... If Patra-chan would like to come with Suzume, Patra-chan probably should go, but before that..."
Mei plopped on the ground and took out a memo and writes something on it. Well, even the human Mei isn't sure what to do either... But up to how it goes, she just decide to play it safe and leave it to her Meicoomon partner.
"...Mmmm, Suzume-chan's mama, we're not exactly animals you see. We're Digimons... although for sake of simplicity, let's call us talking animals indeed... but we're closer to you humans... So Patra-chan, Suzume-chan seem to like Dogs... Well Patra-chan is dog-shaped... and Mei feel they're nice people... Mei definitely a bit worried to leave Patra-chan alone with them for the meantime though, but at the same time, doesn't Patra-chan want to stay with humans? This might be chance... and... Mei will visit Patra-chan a lots if Patra-chan did!"

Patrasche was, honestly, quite unsure of what to make of Suzume. The little girl seemed loud, and honestly rather exciteable, which made the Labramon a hair ambivalent on how, exactly, to approach her! Having greeted Suzume and sniffed her hand though, Patrasche would sit on their haunches once more - shoulders slightly hunched in anxiety as they glanced to Inari and the two Mei's, the trio addressing Suzume and her mother. (Though, they couldn't help a slight head tilt and face at being referred to as a 'he' - they would honestly more rather 'they' or 'she', but didn't comment on it otherwise.)
First, Hifumi would briefly listen to Inari and Meicoo-Mei's words, peering down to Suzume and Patrasche as she did. So... The doglike fellow wasn't necessarily some bizarre talking animal, but... Something called a Digimon? She wasn't sure what to make of it, but she at least could appreciate the brief explanation- getting a little bit of insight to the nature of these strange creatures. She'd slowly nod in acknowledgement, crouching down next to Suzume to better peer to Patrasche. "... I'm, honestly not sure about taking someone in quite yet - the two of us moved in to Shibuya here rather recently, so we're still settling in, but..." ... But if this... Digimon... was looking for a place to stay..?
The idea of getting to be friends with the nice talking puppy - let alone getting to bring them home with them - certainly got Suzume's attention, though. She'd glance up to Inari with wide, bright eyes - grinning widely and excitedly all the whilst. "Yeah, I wanna be friends with the puppy - I wanna be friends with you, Pat... Patra... Patty! I'd like to be friends with you Patty, please!" She'd exclaim, extending her hand to Patrasche once more; except more in a handshake, as opposed to how you might greet an animal. Patrasche couldn't help but blink at this - briefly pondering at being called 'Patty' - but would slowly extend a paw to accept the handshake, unable to help the smallest smile. "Ah... Yeah, I uhm... Being friends, it sounds nice..." They'd murmur - drawing another happy squeal out of Suzume that would make them jump a bit.
Perhaps it was going to take a bit of time, to acclimate to such a hyperactive child like Suzume...
Either way though, Patrasche had been pondering the idea of going with these two - as Meicoo-Mei had mentioned - and would glance to her at her uncertainty at going with the two, mentioning "Well, these two, they do, uhm... They do seem rather nice, and..." Patrasche would trail off briefly to look to Suzume and Hifumi - the mother scratching the back of her head as she seemed to be thinking this all over just as much as Patrasche was, whilst Suzume was just as peachy as ever at simply even being able to talk to Patrasche. As the Labramon found their words though, they'd glance up to the two - softly asking "... Would... Would you two take me, if possible?"
This would certainly get Suzume's attention; the little girl's eyes lighting up even brighter than before, if that was even possible! "Ah... Mama, could we?? Could we take Patty with us?? Could we take the nice digi-puppy home??" She'd ask Hifumi, standing up to embrace the older woman's shoulders with wide pleading eyes. Hifumi blinked at this - understandably a little put on the spot at the questions - but would glance between each individual here, before finally settling on Patrasche.
"... Well... I must admit, I had been considering us getting a pet once we settled down..." She'd begin - it was certainly something she had planned, getting Suzume a puppy for her birthday once they were acclimated to living in Shibuya. The young girl had been rather lonely, after all, without her old friends to keep her company. A pet to teach Suzume a bit of responsibility, as well as to give her something to help keep her company, sounded like it'd be a good idea. "Taking in a Digimon certainly sounds like it'd be quite different from taking in a pet, though that probably goes without saying." Hifumi mused, but would offer Patrasche a handshake of her own, concluding "... But if you two are both sold on the idea, I suppose it wouldn't hurt to at least give Patrasche here a place to stay."
This made Suzume and Patrasche perk equally - the former at the prospect of getting a talking puppy, and the latter at the prospect of finding a home out here in Shibuya. "Yaay! Thank you, Mama, I promise I'll take good care of Patty!" Suzume would exclaim - hugging Hifumi tighter, to which the mother was unable to help a brief chuckle; picking up Suzume and straightening up, once she was able to shake hands (or paws?) with Patrasche. As for the Labramon in question, their tail would be wagging excitedly - Patrasche barely even noticing this as they stood, glancing to the two Mei's, and Inari. "Ah... Thank you, you three, for uhm... Escorting me out here, and helping me find a place here..." They'd murmur with a smile, idly fidgeting in place with excitement. "Is... there any way I could repay the favors you've done me?"
A home, they had a home of their own - out here in the human world... Away from all the troubles of the Digital World, away from the hurt... They could scarcely believe it..!

Inari watched Suzume interact with the Labramon. She let out a soft chuckle. The girl was clumsy, but enthusiastic, and most importantly, genuine. Then, she turned her attention to Suzume's mother. She smiled, and nodded, when she agreed to letting Suzume keep the Digimon. "I am very grateful that you are so openminded, Miss. I can imagine that, having only recently moved here, the existence of us Digimon must be overwhelming. But that you would, for the sake of your daughter and Patrasche, allow a Digimon into your life, makes you a very good person. Thank you. If more were like you, there would be much less conflict between our two worlds. If you ever feel overwhelmed, please, come visit me at my home, and I will give you advice." She nodded, then turned to Patrasche. She just chuckled at the Labramon's question. "All I ask for repayment is that you become a good friend and protector to Suzume. Anything you can do to foster understanding between our worlds is good."

"Mei guess it's sort of like hiring a caretaker," Mei the Meicoomon commented. "Digimons are fast learner, Mei thinks! As long as you teach us pretty much all do and don'ts and we're willing to give housesitting a try... but at the same time, Digimons must be kept under secrecy most of the time. People doesn't quite like seeing talking animals..."
"So ummm... what Mei-chan wanted to say is, as long as you two could keep Patrasche's cohabiting as a secret, we think there is no problem at all with you adopting them into your house, so to say. Digimons are rather civilized, they're like humans of another world, so... I think there shouldn't be that much issue except probably having to feed one more mouth. They're... a bit of a glutton."
"But otherwise Mei think we doesn't need any money," Mei quipped.
Favors huh... "Well, Mei feel that Suzume-chan and Suzume-chan's Mama probably need a bit of getting-used-to... so what about if you share where you live to us so Mei can visit? Mei loves to stroll, and visiting Patra-chan sounded nice! Oh... wait that's not exactly what Patra-chan meant by "Repayment", huh... ah well, Mei guess it's simple enough! Just be great friends with Mei and be happy! That's all Mei wishes!"
"...Well, you hear her!" Mei chuckled at the antics of her partner. "But we really should be going... Do you have any Taxi called, Ma'am? Do you need us to call one? I need to call one too after all..."

Hifumi would quietly nod as Inari, Human-Mei, and Meicoo-Mei all said their pieces; offering their own advice for taking in a digimon. It sounded as though there'd be a lot to consider with having Patrasche around, between keeping them a secret and making sure there's a good amount of food to keep them happy, but... Seeing Suzume being so enthused over having Patrasche to stay with them? Hifumi couldn't help a small smile - nodding. "It'll take some time to adjust, but I believe I understand." She'd respond, smiling down to Patrasche - whose tail was still wagging. "Having someone to help keep an eye on Suzume around the house, too, would be nice."
Suzume seemed to be in agreement, giggling happily. "I'll keep you an extra special special secret, Patty - we can play and watch aaaaallll my favorite shows!" She'd chirp - Hifumi having to adjust how she was carrying Suzume, when the young girl began to gesture widely with her arms instead of holding onto her mother's shoulders! "Like Pokemans! and Pingu! And Chi! And I can show you all my drawings!" She was looking forward to all the fun stuff she could do with her newest friend - even just in the privacy and safety of their home!
Patrasche blinked up at Suzume at all of her enthusiasm, but couldn't help a soft, somewhat shy - but nonetheless happy and genuine - chuckle and nod. Well, maybe once they get themselves a proper holosuit, they could do a whole lot more than just watch tv together - being able to see the city would be nice, after all. With Meicoo-Mei's request to be great friends though, and Inari's own request to be a good friend and protector to Suzume, the Labramon would nod quickly. "I... I'll try my best, to be there for her," Patrasche promised - before glancing to Meicoo-Mei, adding "And... I, uhm... Wouldn't mind being friends with you guys, as well."
As Patrasche responded to them, Hifumi would've set Suzume down - the young child once more crouching down next to Patrasche with a bright happy smile - to free up her hands, so that she could write out an address on the back of what looked to be an old receipt she got out of her purse. The ink on the front of the receipt had long-since faded to illegibility, though it otherwise appeared to be for a gas station someplace. "Here's our street address, and number - just text or call ahead if you would like to visit... I imagine Suzume would love to get to know Mei some, too." She'd mention - passing the receipt with the address to Human-Mei and adding "We'll be fine on transportation, though thank you for the offer. My car's parked a ways up the street, so we should be fine." She'd briefly pause to nod in the indicated direction. Initially, what she had intended was for the two of them to window shop some, then stop by whatever place caught their eye first for some dinner, but.. This certainly ended up being far more than what she had initially planned!

Inari nods. "I would enjoy meeting again. And I would enjoy being friends, too. Perhaps you can come visit me at my shrine, too. My young charges would love to meet you, Suzume." She memorizes the address. She was unsure if Suzume's mother only meant the Meis when she talked about meeting again, but she just assumed that it would be rude if she was just excluded. Once all was said and done, she bowed. "It was an honour to meet you, but it is about high time I return home. My charges might get worried about me. Until we meet again." With that, she nodded at everyone, and put on her cloak, disappearing into the crowds.

"Oooh, much appreciated, Suzume-mama~" Mei the Meicoomon gratefully took the address given and tucks them under her fluff. How does it stays there? No one knows, but apparently she's sure that it'll stay there that she tucks them there. Mei then gently took the Labramon's paw with her own.
"Patra-chan, this is not goodbye, alright? Mei will surely visit Patra-chan a lot! So if there are anything that Patra-chan needs us to help with, just call us! It might take a bit but we'll try to help as soon as possible, aright? So that's why, Patra-chan must be happy and content living in this world! Promise Mei that!"
That's a strange thing to say, but regardless, she means well. The Meicoomon gave the Labramon a hug. "Well, then! See you about.... Mei guess something about two or three days?"
"...That was quick." the human Mei retorted reflexively.
"Well, regardless, Mei will wait until the incident today died out before visiting! See ya later!"
And with that, the two human and Digimon called a taxi for them to return back to their apartment... hopefully the incident will not be too big.

Patrasche blinked to Meicoo-Mei, as she took their paw; briefly unsure of the contact, though they would quickly relax to instead listen to the Meicoomon's words; at first quiet, before nodding in understanding. "Ah... Yes!" The Labramon would murmur out; unable to help a somewhat giddy smile, and unable to hide the way that their tail was wagging. "I promise, Mei. Thank you." Suzume, meanwhilst, would giggle happily to Inari, saying "I dunno what 'charges' are- but okay!" with a bright smile.
It seemed that things were, more or less, handled though; Patrasche making a small, surprised sound at the hug from Meicoo-Mei... And a second startled 'yip!' when Suzume would join in the hug, hugging both of the digimon close with a great big smile and giggle! "Yeah! See you soon, then, kitty!" She'd respond happily; to which Patrasche nodded in agreement, murmuring "Y-yeah, see you both then..." with a shy nod; pulling back from the hug once the two had a chance to at least embrace for a brief moment. The sooner that they could get to their new home, the sooner that they could relax and decompress, honestly; they were getting a little overwhelmed...!
The three of them would wave to both Meis as the two made to call for a taxi, though; as they, too, began heading for the car. Hifumi would sigh softly, briefly smiling down to the two - who were following closely at her side. "Well... This certainly was a Golden Week." She'd comment; to which Suzume nodded happily. "Yeah! I got to make some new friends - and we now have Patty coming home with us, too! Aren't you excited, Patty??"
Suzume would reach down to pet Patrasche's head; which, though Suzume's hands were clumsy and a bit rough - between her excitement, and still only being a child - felt nice to the Labramon still. They'd glance up to Suzuem and Hifumi, quietly pondering, before nodding; "Yeah... Definitely." They'd respond, smiling softly...
... Things were starting to look a lot better for them, after all...
"... None of us here... NONE I SAY, take this as a game. Is it fun standing here, trying to defuse a situation that might go off rail any second? You think it's fun, with all the fate of Digital World and Human World relations weighing on our shoulders like this? Some of us, who's there, would rather stay in our rightful places - safe, and with our family..."
Patrasche and Suzume would both be curled up on the couch, as they'd watch the TV. A live news report, on an incident going down in the Entertainment District, involving the digimon who had come both to demonstrate - and to instigate. Patrasche's head would be resting on Suzume's lap as she pet them; eliciting a slow tail wag, even if watching this live feed was starting to get a little stressful. Suzume, meanwhilst, was wideeyed; though similarly unsure and unsettled.
All the whilst, Hifumi would be in the kitchen; preparing dinner. Patrasche could smell the multitude of scents wafting over, and indeed - much as Suzume had claimed before - it all smelled rather delicious... They were excited to give it a try! Yet...
"... Who among them care whether or not there's parents waiting for us back home? Some of them even thought we could be reborn from Digitama, anyway..."
"... Mm... I'm gonna change the channel." Suzume would eventually murmur; pulling away from Patrasche so that she could get up, and go up to the TV. "This is kinda not-fun to watch, hearing everyone get so loud and angry..." She'd add, as she reached up on her tippytoes for the buttons on the side of the TV, to start changing channels to something more appealing. Patrasche wouldn't argue against this; unable to help a soft huff as they rested their head on their front paws, watching Suzume feel out the buttons, then begin fiddling with them.
"... You think we don't know the danger? You think we don't know the risk? Yet we--"
And just like that, it wouldn't take long for her to start switching between the channels, eventually settling on what looked to be a channel for children's cartoons. The show that was currently playing was something that Patrasche didn't really recognize, but it still looked cute, and it seemed to make Suzume happy, as she would make to return to the couch. However, as she'd proceed to half-flop, half-climb, her way into a proper seated position... Something would fall out of her pocket!
A small, pink, round device of some sort - something that would quickly catch Suzume's eyes, as she reached out to pick it up - staring at it with a certain wide-eyed curiosity. "I don't remember having this in my pocket..." Suzume would murmur to herself initially ; eyeballing it for a second, before showing it to Patrasche. "Look, Patty! I dunno why I have this - but isn't it pretty? What could it be??"
The Labramon would blink a bit at the device being shoved in their face, but would otherwise take the time to examine it - briefly sniffing it, and looking over the buttons and outer plastic (Was it actually plastic? Patrasche was unsure, but it looked like plastic.) of it. What would soon draw their attention, though, was the digimoji inscriptions written around the screen - marking it Digital in nature. Was this...?
... Quiet, contemplative, Patrasche was sure that they had an idea of what this device was, and what it could mean... But instead of telling Suzume... "... I don't know... Maybe you picked it up somewhere, and forgot...?" Patrasche suggested; shifting closer to lay their head on Suzume's lap once more, now that she was situated on the couch. To lie like this, it certainly wasn't good... But they couldn't help but think to the words of the boy on the news, and of their own experiences with the Digital world...
... No, if this was a digivice, they certainly weren't going to send Suzume on any hell-bent adventures. She didn't deserve it. They didn't want it.
Suzume seemed to accept this answer easily, but was a little disappointed that Patrasche didn't know. "Mm... Okay... I guess I'll keep it here, for now." She'd murmur - shoving it back into her pocket. They both could always ask Mama about it, later...!
In the meantime, the two would simply be content, watching television until it was time for dinner...
