Whether they had a crew already or not, the course of action was pretty much clear for all of those pirates who had received the news about the recent discoveries regarding Astrivia. Re-Re Island. The island where the ISR, the institute that had actually received that stress signal, was located. It was clear the ISR was hiding more information about Astrivia. Which meant that, right now, getting to Re-Re Island was the best bet for all of those who wanted to get a step closer to finding it. Sadly, like many islands inside the Southern Tropics, the piece of land had an invisible force field that hampered the use of any kind of portals. On top of that, the Digimon Navy had issued a press statement where no digimon could fly near Re-Re island without a permit. Considering the Trailmons going there had also suspended all of their trips, this left both Amelie and David with a single option: using a ship to get there. A short inquiry around Whitewater would let the duo (whether they were together right now or just acting separately) know that there were no ships going to Re-Re Island right now, due to the very strict security policies the navy was applying to any boat that traveled around those seas. However, the rumors of a shipping company that sent packages all over the Southern Tropics, without any restriction, would take them to the Garma Isles; a set of three very small islands located many kilometers to the east of Whitewater City. Why? Well, if they could get themselves in one of those shipping boats, maybe they could get to Re-Re island. There was not much to be said about the Garma Isles. A very tropical place where some digimon would come for a short vacation. At least those whose budget couldn't afford going fancier places. The place didn’t seem particularly abandoned or dirty. It was just… lackluster. Small huts that worked as inns or shops inside a small jungle was the main attraction of each island at the archipelago (if it could be even called like that). Surrounding this jungle, the beach. It didn’t matter in what direction you walked through the jungle, it would take you to the shoreline of the semicircular pieces of land. Wooden bridges connected the three isles. According to rumors, the shipping company was located by the end of the third island. However, it was likely the duo would find something of interest before arriving there. A group of digimon was reunited at the railing of the second bridge, the one that went from the second island to the third. They seemed to be looking at something happening at the beach of the upcoming island. “Help! Somebody help me! I need help!” A sharp eye would be needed to actually decry it was a Ganemon the one yelling at the shore. It was a small digimon, after all. What was not small at all was a wooden ship, some meters away from him, on the water. It was a fairly big embarkation. Long, white sails, very elegant design and a golden strip decorating the entirety of its layout. Of course, all of these features were not easy to discern. The reason? The same that made the Kanemon cry for help: that ship was on fire! The damage was still not critical and it looked like it had not been long since the fire had started. However, no digimon seemed willing to jump and help the guy. Tourist were just being… tourists, observing from afar. Would someone jump into action to save the ship before it was too late? OOC:Kayo! Welcome to your plot, Lightspeed Rescue.
This is not, by any means, a static plot. Everything is going to be constantly changing according to the decisions you make! Although for plot convenience and in order to give you a little push I have established a first objective for your crew (getting to Re-Re Island, in this case) all of your actions and decisions will determine how the plot moves on and whether that objective changes or not. Alliances, friendships, and gruesome battles: in Set Sail for Astrivia your objectives and the roads you take to achieve those objectives will change according to how YOU want it and the decisions YOU make.
So, enjoy the ride! ~
With love, Erika.

"Da~vid Copeland, King of the pirates He set sail on the raging sea Da~vid Copeland, Gleam of the Irish Spun his tales on the ocean free~"Our favorite tiny digidestined stood at the helm of a massive bright red galleon, singing his own praises as he unknowingly sailed right for the Garma Isles. The fierce Gokai Galleon, as David had dubbed it, was a monster of a ship, easily dwarfing most everything else in the sea. It had a full allotment of 10 cannons on each side should anyone foolishly attempt to trifle with it. And should the need arise for some close quarters ship-to-ship combat, it sported a large and sharp blade in lieu of a figurehead. High above the main body, atop three oversized red sails, sat Ziggy, David's partner betamon, in a crow's next flying a traditional skull-and-bones pirate flag. David himself was not in his normal attire and had instead opted for the best approximation of a Captain Marvelous cosplay he could make out of his own wardrobe. With his limited resourced, this amounted to a t-shirt with red and black horizontal stripes with a long red hoodie on top of it, unzipped of course, and black denim jeans with a black and gold belt. "Ahoy, Lookout Ziggy, see ye anything important?""David, I'm on your shoulder. I can see literally the same things as you.""Come oooooooooon." The boy whined at his partner, softly prodding him in the cheek. "You promised you'd play pirates with me." In reality, the ship was just a kayak David had found and crudely painted, leaving the dull silver underneath visible through the single coat of bright red paint. In the middle of the small vessel was a mop handle duct taped to the floor and secured to the sides with Bungie Cord that had a "flag" atop it that was actually just cardboard with a misshaped Jolly Rodger drawn on it with black and white markers. "Do it and I'll get you more of those crackers.""Fine." Dejected as he may be at this whole facade, Ziggy just couldn't be mad at David. Bribes didn't hurt either. Food from the Real World was just so delicious. Even something as simple as peanut butter crackers had so many layers to it that it was like a whole different eating experience than the simple flavors of digital food. "I see....wait, is that a fire? We need to go that way, quickly."David had seen the burning ship already but had waited for Ziggy to mention it before doing anything about it. It was the mon's job as the lookout, after all. David wasn't about to do the jobs of every crew member by himself. "Aye. And once the fire's out, we'll plunder all their booty. Brace yourself, Ziggy. Full speed ahead!" While his partner jumped off his shoulder and planted himself on the floor of their kayak, David grabbed the double-sided oar and began to paddle as fast as he could towards the ship in need of help. As soon as they were a bit closer, Ziggy started hitting the upper surface of Kanemon's flaming ship with several Aqua Towers as quickly as he could, coating it in as much water as possible. This technique was not really meant for just creating water and putting out fires, and was more of a push. Thus, since Ziggy couldn't get a good sight of exactly what he was hitting, it was entirely possible that the columns of pressurized water were pushing around, or even damaging, things on the upper deck. It should be noted that David happened across this by accident, and knows nothing about Astrivia, Re-Re-Island, or any information put out by ISR. Out on the endless ocean/ we tear along the gales/ with rum inside our bellies warm/ and freedom in our sails~ Aqua Tower: Ziggy focuses on any point on a surface he can see or is reasonably aware of within his line of sight. From this spot, a cylinder of water roughly five feet long and one foot in diameter rises up with enough force to push away smaller objects. While usually this spout appears perpendicular to the surface, Ziggy can actually launch it at any angle he chooses, but it cannot be changed after the technique has begun.

It sounded like a good idea on paper. Find an ancient city, complete with a plethora of marvelous treasures, all while adventuring through the Binary Archipelago with your own pirate crew. Who could refuse that kind of deal?
Amelie certainly couldn't. At least not until the bureaucracy got involved in the whole ordeal? How, you ask? Well... it began when pretty much every way of transiting the neighboring islands became pretty much impossible, for whatever reason the 'Digital Navy' deemed worth. What gives, it wasn't like she would let her small adventure to just stop because some politicians or whatever decided that things would be a whole deal harder for everyone involved.
The plan seemed convoluted at the start, but it eventually worked out just okay. Not quite where the brunette wanted to reach, but getting closer was a lot better than not doing anything. And that's why, after a small trip in a merchant ship or something of the like, she had arrived at the so-called Garma Isles.
For somebody who had traveled through pretty much the whole extension of the Digital World, the girl had to admit that this place was quite... colorful. The trip was already beginning to pay itself, so to say; now Amy just had to look for somebody willing to get her farther towards her ultimate goal.
What would find first, however, was quite... curious, for the lack of the better. Or maybe alarming was more appropriate? A huge ship currently burning down while next to no one did anything about it was a bit of a sad sight. Especially when the vessel seemed to be of the highest quality. Being lost to the flames would be a shame...
Good thing Amelie was here, and didn't mind meddling into the affairs of others. Not like the Digimon crying for help would mind, anyway. The girl wasn't a person who fancied herself, or that had a flair for the dramatic; especially not in a situation like this one, even if acting on it would prove to be pretty simple.
Bringing out her D-Tector, a single card was slashed through it; the result would be appreciated right away; dark, bloated clouds would begin to hang overhead. A relatively strong, yet obviously not lethal downpour would begin on top of the flaming vessel. With any luck, that'd be enough!

“Look!”“Is that a human kid?”Although very useless when it came to providing any kind of help, the tourist did notice a human child getting near the boat, on top of a kayak and holding nothing more than an oar. Seeing a human risking his life that way to somehow help a digimon in distress didn’t happen every day, after all. The desperate cries of Kanemon for any type of aid would only stop with the sight of pressurized streams of water flying from that same kayak towards the burning ship. His gaze would slowly change into one of hope and he would start jumping on the same spot. “Yes! Yes!” He shouted. Although it wasn’t completely effective, the flames had definitely been reduced thanks to Ziggy’s brave attempt. Then, the digimon’s eyes would widen up upon seeing a group of clouds forming on top of the vessel. When the water fell, he became downright overjoyed. “Yes! Yes!” He shouted higher. Out of pure zeal, small Zenimon started to come out of him, as if they were just forming out of his data. These creatures were as little as a penny and didn’t seem to do anything useful. Some seconds of the downpour was more than enough to extinguish the flames. The Kanemon waved his hands in the air to let know whoever was helping him they should stop, in order to not ruin the ship more than it was. Apparently, the Zenimon did have some utility. They were actually very good scouts and had found the one who had created the clouds. A group of coins was standing on top of the railing of the bridge, dancing in front of Amelie. At first, the bigger coin stared in disbelief. He knew humans could do pretty amazing stuff but… had this girl done that by herself? He wasn’t sure of how and he didn’t actually care. This girl was something else. However, she had just finished the job of the one who had jumped on his aid first, another human boy and his partner, a ModokiBetamon. He wasn’t letting these two groups past by him, no way. They might be just what he needed. The tourist started to walk away, slowly. If there was no fire, nothing interesting to see there anymore, right? However, the Kanemon made sure to call out for both of his rescuers. “Hey, you two!” He shouted, each hand pointing at one of the two. “You have saved my ship and I am forever in your debt.” He bowed, putting his right arm in front of him. Then, he changed his tone of voice to a mourning one, sounding completely distressed and plummeting over the sand. “Oh, it’s such a shame that the ship might be destroyed anyway by that hideous Leomon.” He said out loud. “I just don’t want to see the ship die, although I’m not interested in keeping it any longer. If only could someone help me get rid of that Leomon, I could give them this perfectly working ship.”He was a pretty bad actor. And it was obvious he was trying to gather their attention. However, the offer was not a bad one at all. Would it be enough to get them interested and actually approaching the guy? That remained to be seen.

A sudden downpour? At this time of day, on this clear a sky, in this part of the world localized entirely above this one ship!? Preposterous yet fortuitous. Who knows how long that fire would have taken to put out with just his own water cannon things?
With that taken care of, David paddled himself up to the shore towards a commotion. A big ol' money with limbs is excitedly spilling out tinier monies with even tinier limbs. It was easily the weirdest thing that David had seen in this Digital World, and that's saying something. The boy pulled his "galleon" ashore and made his way over to the Kanemon when it addressed both him and the other human nearby. Apparently, she was the one who brought on the downpour that succeeded in putting out the fire on the ship. She was, to young David, the picture of traditional beauty; like someone straight out of a TV show. He had to admit to staring a bit too long, mostly because he didn't think people like that actually existed.
Kanemon was the one who quickly pulled David out of his unnecessary staring with his talk of giving away his ship. It was obvious to anyone that there was a lot of baiting within Kanemon's voice. Obvious to everyone except this boy, that is. "Wait, so we just gotta make this Leo man walk the plank, then I...we get a ship?"
"David, no."
"David, YES." This was just too much to pass up. Vast as his imagination was, David did know that his own vessel was lacking. The promise of a real actual pirate ship for his game was amazingly tantalizing. Turning toward Amelie, he proposed an alliance between the two. "Aye, lass. Would ye be willing to join me on me quest to take down the nefarious Leo man?" Quickly he broke the very forced pirate persona and got very polite and subdued. "I mean....if you please, ma'am." Hopefully Amelie understood English. He had met a handful of humans that didn't, and it made anything social a bit tenuous. The card's effect ended as soon as there was certainty regarding the fire being put out; an alert wasn't necessary, even if the reason behind it was understandable; losing a ship after thinking it had been saved would've been a rather cruel irony.
But that wasn't really important right now. Apparently, the Zenimon beckoned at her; what for? The ship had been saved already. In any case, the call piqued her curiosity. And it wasn't like she really had anything better to in this place, besides trying to find a way to get Re-Re.
Color her surprised; those two things might've not been mutually exclusive, after all. Two digimon and two humans gathered, Amy offering a kind smile to them while listening to the juicy offer that Big-golden-money-dude-with-a-tophat had dropped. Honestly? It was fishy; way too fishy. An eyebrow was quirked, even though that didn't last for long! The antics the small boy and what she assumed were his partner already had the brunette smirking
"So... what's the catch?" She asked, matter-of-factly. "You wanted to save this ship super badly, only for it to be destroyed by 'that hideous Leomon', and even if it was saved from they, you'd just part ways with it as if it were nothing. You'll have to forgive me for being a bit skeptic about the whole deal. What do you win, if you end up losing the ship no matter what? And, while you're at it, I wouldn't mind hearing more details about the offer. For example, who is that Leomon and why it wants to smash your stuff? That'd help."
Maybe it was the fact that he looked like a coin, but Amy felt like she couldn't lower her guard in front of that digimon. Nailing him as the scheming type had pretty high chances of being correct. But... until the digimon came around replying to her (if he ever did that), the young woman would divert her focus to the colorful pair.
"Ahoy, mateys. I guess we're a crew now." A response uttered between snickers. Her English obviously an accent, but could be understood quite clearly. "No need to be so formal, though! My name's Amelie, but you can call me Amy if you wanna. Pleased to meet you two."

Like a coin, one of the humans was already in Ganemon’s pocket. Meanwhile, the other one seemed a lot more skeptic about their potential agreement. Well, it couldn’t be that easy, right? The coin knew from the get-go that he would have to give some context before he could get them in that ship to go and help him. It seemed like the thing that mattered the most for the golden digimon was to have their attention. Now that he had it, he could work from there. He cleared his throat before he started speaking.
“There is no catch, ma’am.” He answered, his eyes going from Amelie’s toes to her head, just realizing how tall this girl was, actually. She was even a bit scary. “P-Please, allow me to explain.” The coin sweatdropped while the Zenimon gathered around him. He picked up a black suitcase from the sand and opened it up, taking an old flier out and showing it to both the girl and the kid.
“Ganemom Treasure Recovering Service. We recover your stolen goods faster than a coin-flip.”
Above these words, a picture of the same Ganemon, smiling. Oddly enough, he didn’t have a mustache in this picture. Was he younger back then?
“As you can see, my job is to recover treasures for those who got mugged by evil pirates or bandits. When the navy or local police were useless, I appeared to help those in distress.” The coin placed both hands tightened into fists around his middle-body and smiled. Then, this confident expression was replaced by a sigh and a saddened face. “Or at least that’s what I used to do. Now I’m not even half as strong as I was before and I can’t fight the bandits to recover treasures. And that’s why I want to retire and pass the ship I used for these jobs to a new generation.” His eyes went to the giant vessel behind the humans. It was half-burnt and seemed to have been through a lot, but it still seemed like it was worth millions.
Of course, the second part of the story needed to be told.
“Before retiring, I wanted to do a last treasure-retrieving job for a family whose members have been long-time friends of mine. The Aka-Koka family, from Re-Re Island.” Can you spell ‘bingo’? “You have probably heard of them. The King of Re-Re Island is the leader of the Aka-Koka family, and a good friend of mine. I just wanted to help them recover the treasure Leomon stole from them… b-but…” Were those, tears? The Ganemon was making a sobbing sound while he rubbed his eyes. It was a very poor act. Or maybe he was serious? It was hard to tell. “… I’m not strong enough now. I tried to take the treasure back and Leomon beat me. I had to escape but now he sent his guys to destroy my ship in revenge. That’s when you two came in and found… my poor ship on fire.”
Then, his eyes glimmered and his sight went back to the humans, showing an innocent smile. “But you two seem strong enough! If you take my ship, go to that hideous Leomon’s hideout, take the treasure back and take it to Re-Re Island, I will be able to retire and I will definitely let you keep the ship!”
A good offer, no doubt. They were getting to Re-Re Island and getting a ship in exchange for their services. But... was it worth it? The recently formed crew would have to decide.

David let out a sigh of relief when everything started going so well. Not only had the lady introduced herself and begun her inquiry, but the giant coin guy was being so forthcoming with information. All in all, the quest didn't sound too hard. This was partially because of how simply the Kanemon had put it, but also because of David's lack of real reference points for what their task required.
"So where is this Leo guy anyway? We'll go rough him up for ye." The excitement surrounding David was palpable. What was once just a game of imagination had just became very, incredibly real. There'd be no stopping this kid, but it was the duty of one's partner to keep the other out of danger.
"We can't do this David."
"And yet we are."
"No. I-I'm fine playing at being a pirate with you. But this is REAL. You are going to go do a REAL fight with someone stronger than us just based on this guy's word. There is ACTUAL danger in this. You can see that, can't you?"
"Yeah! Isn't it awesome? This is the best adventure ever."
"NO-!"
"Look Ziggs," the boy interrupted, snapping a bit at his partner, "I am going on an adventure. If you don't want to go, you can go back home and I'll meet you there tonight." David then took out his digivice and held it outwards in front of him, holding a button and slowly moving the device downwards, tearing the veil between this world and his own. Despite his word choice and mild irritation, there was no actual malice in his words. They were pure and curt, though said with a smile.
"You know I can't do that." Ziggy knew when he was defeated. His voice was soft. Submissive. "Just promise me you won't start a fight so easily? A Leomon is much stronger than I am. I don't think I could take one on. You and Amelie are only human, too."
David gave an understanding nod and smile to his partner as he closed the gate he had opened a moment earlier. "I can- Um. AHEM. Aye, then we have an accord, first mate Ziggy." And back on went the over-the-top cartoony pirate accent. Turning back towards Kanemon again, he repeated the question from before this whole argument started. "Now, where were we? Ah, yes. Where be that nasty Leomon's hideout? We'll take our scuffle right to him." Out on the endless ocean/ we tear along the gales/ with rum inside our bellies warm/ and freedom in our sails~

Good thing that the Ganemon was quick to talk about his intent and motivations. Considering the nature of the situation, a less-than-optimal explanation would've ended on a somewhat dicey proposition. Something not inherently bad, but it wasn't like Amy liked to do dubious business without knowing the full extent of it.
All in all, she thought of the digimon's cause as noble, even though the brunette still couldn't quite bring herself to fully trust the Ganemon. The fact that he was an anthropomorphic coin with a moustache remained true, and so did her distrust.
What would she do, then? Well... at least for now, she was to keep her eyes open in case of any kind of shady business. Before she could open her mouth to speak, David and Ziggy's exchange seemed to reinforce her opinion; the possibility of the Ganemon employing honeyed words was real.
"I see..." Amelie trailed off, an inscrutable expression etched in her face. "While it's flattering that you think so highly of us, do you really think we can beat a digimon as strong as Leomon? Just as Ziggy over here said, we're just two humans and a frog. Doubt there's a lot we can do to a digimon such as a giant lion man."
While it was true that she was still going to participate in this strange quest, the fact that they had to squeeze the digimon for all the pertinent information was somewhat bothersome. After a small pause, the brunette continued with her small speech. "Unless you know something about our foe that we don't? If there's anything we should know before embarking in such a dangerous endeavor, I think it's time to say it now."
Amy's question added to David's rather smoothly. While there was a small possibility of their act being too good, the spontaneity of their exchanges seemed to be genuine, and that was the ultimate reason why they were deemed trustworthy. If things were going to take the path that she thought they would, then it was rather obvious that their safety would be her responsibility, so... guess it was time to to play the role.

The coin stared at both Ziggy and David, while the frog seemed rather worried about his tamer’s wellbeing during this task. In the end, it seemed like Amelie had doubts about their chances upon going to the hideout of an adult digimon and taking the treasure. Due to this, she had opted to clear those doubts before embarking on this adventure.
“Oh, no need to worry, my lady and Betamon friend.” Ganemon moved his finger from one side to the other, looking confident. “That’s why I never said you were going to actually fight the Leomon.” The digimon cleared his throat before continuing with his explanation. “You just need to take back the treasure Leomon stole. This is a stealth mission.” Then, his eyes went to Amelie. “You might not be able to fight him one on one, but I just saw you do an amazing trick with one of those devices you humans use, miss. Leomon is not very smart, I am sure if you can pull one or two of those tricks against that beast you will be able to extract that treasure from the hideout with no trouble.” It was like if he was selling them an idea. Although it was obvious the one who needed the idea to be sold to her was mainly Amelie.
“After what happened, I am sure Leomon is not waiting for me to come back and try to take the treasure again so soon. And Leomon is most definitely not expecting any of you!” He opened up his arms to the duo. “That’s why you are perfect for this. You go in, take the treasure and escape, without Leomon even knowing you were there.” Sounded easy enough, right?
Out of his briefcase, the coin took out a map and a red marker, crouching and waiting for the humans and Ziggy to gather around him. With the marker, he drew a circle at the center of three island. “This is where we are right now, the Garma Isles.” Then, he sketched a red line, going around the east side and leaving the archipelago. The line extended, going to the east, until he drew a small circle at some point on the sea. “Here is the pile of junk where Leomon lives. It’s not even a real island, and that's why it isn't shown on maps. It’s just a bunch of trash and wastes that had drifted through the sea. They put all of that crap together to build their own island. It shouldn’t take you more six hours to reach that place.” He looked at a clock strapped to his right wrist. “You should be getting there at night, around an hour before midnight. Leomon will probably be sleeping, so that’s when you go in and take the treasure.”
“Of course, you can't just go to Leomon’s Junk Island with a giant ship and expect to go unnoticed.” Then, another circle was drawn on the map, not too far from the one that marked Leomon's island. “You should leave the ship around here, where they can't see it from Leomon's island. From there, you have to look for a way of actually getting to the island, without being detected. I can’t think of anything right now, but I’m sure you can think of something.”
The plan seemed clear enough and their route was well traced now.
“Once you have the treasure, you can follow that map to Re-Re Island, you give the treasure back and then you can leave with the ship!” Easy as that. The Ganemon extended the map where he had just made the drawings to Amelie for her to take it. "The map follows a secret route only friends of the Aka-Koka family know about. That route is unguarded by the Navy, so you should be able to get there with no trouble."
“So, what do you say? Are you ready to sail?”
Was the plan perfect? Not by a stretch. Did getting a ship and actually getting to Re-Re island in the same movement sound too good to be true? Most certainly. Was it the only lead they had? Definitely.

Yes. Send the Boy Who Doesn't Shut Up on a stealth mission. Wonderful idea. David, while aware of both this particular trait of his, as well as exactly what a stealth mission entailed, did not put two and two together. He had never lost any bit of excitement. Throughout Ganemon's explanation of the plan, he would often interject with "Ok," "Yeah," or "Got it." as he intently examined the map and path that had been laid out for them.
"He lives on a trash island?" If Ziggy was to be forced onto this misguided adventure, he may as well join in and learn as much information as possible. Having climbed up onto David's shoulder once more, the pair looked on over the map together.
"Gross. Why would he do that?"
At the mention of having to set anchor away from the island and make their way there in something less conspicuous, David just looked over at the kayak he had come over to the Garma Isles with. It could certainly fit two plus a Betamon, though David did only have the single double-sided oar. "My Gokai Galleon! We can take that the rest of the way."
"It's small, and we'll arrive late at night. Still, it's possible someone could see us, even if it's unlikely." The small mon then tilted his head towards Amelie. She had summoned that rainstorm earlier, so it was possible that she had at least some minor control of the weather or some other utility that could be useful. "Got any tricks that could create mist or some cover?"
Before Ganemon handed the map to Amelie, Ziggy took one final look, noting that it had a detailed path to Re-Re Island. This made it so that once the job was done, they didn't have to report back here to their coin "friend." With thoughts of piracy on his mind, one troubling thought did occur. What's to stop us from taking the ship, bypassing Leomon, and going straight to Re-Re Island? The idea was, admittedly, tempting if he wanted to protect his previous child partner. Less tempting than just abandoning the whole thing altogether, but maybe the only way to actually get David to be reasonable. For now, he stored the idea in the back of his mind and said nothing. Sneaky Ganemon; funny how he had managed to hide a crucial detail like the fact this was a stealth mission rather than a direct confrontation. Did that improve their odds? Who in their right mind would send an overeager kid to such a task? Those and many more questions swirled around Amelie's mind as she heard the digimon's words and proposal.
Yet, despite that, there was an undeniable fact that the brunette just couldn't ignore David's desire to partake into the plan; ugh. Definitely a between-a-rock-and-a-hard-place situation. Her ultimate response was preceded by a sigh; guess that this plan could actually be the opportunity Amy had been waiting for. If everything went smoothly, getting to Re-Re would be a walk in the park.
A junk island wasn't the most glamorous place where Amelie had been, but if that's where she had to go... guess there wasn't another option. Better to cheer up and polish the last details of their plan. She took the map with a small smile on her face before tucking it into the pocket of her jacket.
"Guess we're ready to sail, unless you have anything else to tell that you feel we should know."
That'd probably be the last time she would deal with the Ganemon, if everything went well. What about David? She could take care of that! "Yeah, I can shroud our advance; he will still be able to recognize the big ship if he's alert, but taking care of the rest should be easy enough."
In fact, she had the perfect tool for the job! For some reason, she knew that things wouldn't be as easy, but if they worked out... they just did. It wasn't like Amy would complain! "So, shall we? I think we're ready to set sail."

It seemed like everything was said and done and the duo even seemed to have a plan to approach Leomon’s Junk Island without being spotted. If that would work or not, it remained to be seen. It was time to sail. A genuine smile appeared in Ganemon’s face. “Thank you so much! You’ve made an old man very happy!” The coin waved his arms into the air, a bunch of Zenimon coming out of him again, along with some more tears. Just like that, the group could use a ladder hanging from one of the sides of the ship to get on deck. Once they were there, they could start moving. Ganemon would wave his goodbyes at them, a crowd of Zenimon moving around him, although they were probably impossible to see from the crew’s position. “Bye-Bye! Show that hideous Leomon who’s in charge!” He shouted, effusively. With that, the group would start moving away from the Garma Isles, following the route Ganemon had marked in the map, moving east and away from the archipelago, into the open sea. The ship's deck seemed to be in good conditions, at least for a vessel that had been lit on fire just some minutes ago. However, it was awfully dirty and unorganized. Ziggy’s aqua tower had thrown the objects previously lying over the deck all over the place. Different items like bottles, kitchen utensils, broken crates, pieces of wood, and books were all scattered through the deck. Along with the random objects around, ashes, dirt, and grease made of the deck a complete mess. This was probably just the aftermath of the fire. A door that seemed to lead below deck could be easily spotted around the left corner of the deck. This was a good time for the crew to get to know their own ship, cleaning the deck, or getting to know each other better. The possibilities were infinite right now. On the other side, now that Ganemon couldn’t see them anymore, it was also a good time to designate a sailing master and set a destination. Where was the crew going? Were they heading to that circle made with the red marker on their maps, which accounted for Leomon’s Junk Island, or…? Could it be they had another plan? In any case, this was their decision to make. … And if they decided to betray Ganemon, they would have to deal with the consequences of the unknown. After all, they would be changing a clear plan for total improvisation. Was it true? Was there really nothing stopping them from taking that boat wherever they wanted right now? And, most importantly… was it worth it? Their call. Inventory:-Ganemon's Map. (Map) [Amelie] OOC: Cruising Mode During the Astrivia Plot, each thread has two modes: Regular Mode and Cruising Mode. When you start moving in a ship from one island to another, you enter Cruising Mode. Although they might have some tasks to fulfill, during Cruising Mode, your characters are free and encouraged to do whatever they want across the ship. It's their ship, after all!
Want to go take a nap? Go ahead! Want to wander around the ship? Be my guest! What about making some food for the rest of the crew? Your characters are completely free! As the GM, I promise you they will find something interesting or at least entertaining in every task they decide to perform. However, if you have a specific task to complete (like exploring the ship or cleaning the deck) then performing that task could make things easier for the crew in the future. After all, there's real progress to be made there!
Sometimes you can find very interesting stuff around the ship, so it's always a good idea to wander around for a bit when you're not too busy or after finishing your established task!
Cruising Mode will end once the crew has arrived at their destination. OOCly, it will last according to the number of hours you have to travel to get there.
If every crew member agrees, once you have set a destination, you can skip the Cruising Mode and arrive at your next destination right away, which is like doing a time-skip, at any round during the Cruising Mode. If an event will occur that will interrupt your trip, then the time-skip will be made until that event. You just need to notify the GM and I will make sure you all agree to skip Cruising Mode. It's definitely not as fun, but it will get you there faster, OOCly.
Inventory: The inventory shows what interesting or important items any member of the crew has at any time. Right next to the name of the item, you will find what type of item it is and who in the crew has it. If an item is showed in the inventory, it means you can take your time to look at it closely or use it in any kind of situation. The fact that an item is in your inventory probably means you're going to need it. So don't forget to check the crew's inventory every time you have to make a decision or don't know what to do. You might have the item you need right there!

Just a few scant minutes after accepting, they were ready to weigh anchor and dance along the water lines. David's small kayak afixed to one side with thick rope like a life boat, ready to be dropped in the water when they get closer to Hideous Leomon's Garbage Islandtm, or really whenever they saw fit.
The top deck where David and Ziggy found themselves was a wreck, to put it lightly. And like heck the boy would find himself cleaning up. It's not like his mom was here to tell him to keep everything tidy. Instead, he would head below deck and begin looking around. Right before descending he offered an "Amelie Imma go 'sploring. K thanks bye." In these sentences, there was no punctuation. No periods. Barely and spaces between words. It was clear that David wanted to explain as quickly as possible to not allow for replies or objections.
While his partner was below exploring every nook and cranny, Ziggy opted to stay on deck and tend to the ship itself. David had obviously not given any real thought to how to actually get the ship TO its destination. He would be the one to weight anchor, set the sail plan, and generally just get things moving. He was a mon of the Sea, after all. WHo better to do this than him? Someone with hands, probably, but that wasn't important now.
Once everything had gotten set and they were headed towards Hideous Leomon's Garbage Islandtm, Ziggy decided to talk to Amelie. She was skeptical of everything Ganemon had said before and seemed to be intelligent. Perhaps she would be able to assuage some of his worries. "Do you think we should do it? Take out Leomon, I mean. We don't know for a fact he's done anything wrong. And we've already got a ship. And.....Oh. I'm sorry." Ziggy stopped himself short before going much further. "I guess that isn't a good first conversation starter, is it?" Out on the endless ocean/ we tear along the gales/ with rum inside our bellies warm/ and freedom in our sails~

Parting ways with the Ganemon had been among the easiest things Amelie had done in her life; getting away from somebody who seemed to be completely untrustworthy managed to ease her nerves greatly. Once the ship had set sail, the girl sighed with relief while addressing the utter mess that was its deck.
She had enough knowledge about kids to know that... they couldn't care less about cleaning; that was fine, even though she couldn't bear to see the current state of their flagship. It went without saying that her first priority was to try and at least get everything in there to a semblance of order. Luckily, the brunette had found in Ziggy a kindred spirit regarding that mindset. Together, the deck would return to a semblance of cleanliness in no time!
The two would set the ship on course, the wheel obviously resting on the young woman's capable hands. It'd have been hard for somebody without them to do it, after all. Once a semblance of normalcy had been attained, the Betamon variant was quick to issue his doubts regarding the task they had so hastily taken. Could Amy blame him? Considering that he had been more or less coerced into it by David, hardly. Yet...
"Don't worry; there's no need to apologize." She responded with a smile. "We're... a crew of sorts now, I guess? I appreciate that you're sharing your concerns with me. Anyway..."
Time to get into the thick of it! "I'll be honest. I don't trust the Ganemon." She prefaced, her words without a hint of doubt. "But, at least to me, a hunch isn't enough justification to abandon the deal we struck, especially if we already got what we wanted from it. A person's as good as their word. And I'd like to think that saying goes for digimons as well."
At least at plain sight, it seemed like the girl was adhering to a rather strict moral code, and that made her next statement somewhat predictable. "I'd like to uphold our end of the bargain, given that we don't have any concise evidence on Ganemon deceiving us."
Strangely enough, a smirk found its way towards the girl's face right afterward. "But don't worry; I think that if that's the case, we'll find out really soon and... we'll get back at him. Would be a nice way to show that nobody would try to trick our crew, right?"
After all, honorable didn't necessarily mean kind as well.
