Well, naturally...
Well, of course the group was going to come in guns blazing! The Makuramon found himself giving a cackle at the display, grinning almost ear to ear as the group rushed in all at once with a myriad of straight-forward attacks. Some sort of projectile from the Justimon, a pissed-off lion throwing a big hunk of metal at him, a demon throwing a fiery lance and a dragon throwing a claw in his direction.
Spirited? Yes. But their efforts were so disorganized that the Makuramon pictured the efforts he had to make in an instant. One back-step let that pillar of metal crash down in front of him, and with tensed legs, he'd poise himself to sprint and run right up that slight incline, putting the pillar right between himself and his adversaries. Moeru cursed, the long-ranged Justmon not able to find a line of sight even at this early juncture.
Well. The Makuramon would have sprinted up that incline, if not for one attempt at his blind spot. The roar of a distant engine got the monkey's attention, and with a blink, he pivoted and hurled that orb like a base-ball - around the side of the pillar, the cloud of data turning on point towards that direction - just before Behemon would hit him square on, sent knocked and tumbling backwards hundreds of feet (far away from the other shots!), left crumpled in a heap and grasping at cracked ribs.
A good hit, to be sure, but it didn't stop the orb's pull. And at this point, it would already find itself in the midst of the Deva's data, Makuramon's desperate toss putting it in just the right place to take the data in.
The sphere persists. It is now actively loading data.

All right so that was definitely not what they wanted, the monkey being able to dodge a good chunk of their attacks only to get hit by the behemoth. The tiger let out a tch and saw where the orb had landed, it was in the midst of all that data... What were they going to do? It was going to absorb as much as it could if not all of it! Holly wasn't in any real position to do anything about it close up but maybe if she tried... She could break the orb perhaps? The baihumon's eyes flicked to the monkey and after a moment the orbs around her collar danced around her. Energy crackling along their small frames before leaping towards the orb. If they broke it wouldn't that bring both their ally and the bird out? Hopefully in similar states to when they entered in. If not? Well... The baihumon didn't want to think about it too much. She'd slowly come down from where she had been flying, scowling as she wasn't sure what was going to come from all this. Had they really just played into the hands of the enemy? The answer to that was something she really didn't want to know and honestly... She just didn't like this entire situation, it left a bad taste in her mouth! Log: -Holly uses 14 orbs in an effort to break the sphere that's loading data. -Holly moves closer... -Holly's last stint of regen teeters off leaving her invigorated. -Her charged air pasive is now active again... Passives: Iron Lord|Combat Passive: If it is one thing, Baihumon is durable. It's fur being beyond that of natural limits is made purely out of a digizoid fiber of sorts. It's strong to the point of having a heavy resistance[30%] to all forms of damage. At the cost of moving much[30%] slower. Water attacks weaken the fur considerably and disable this passive for three posts upon successful contact.
Charged-Air|Combat Passive: This digimon is putting off a constant barrage of electrical currents into the air. Arcing off of it's fur, the orbs and metal that it's body may possess. This hyper charges the local area that the mon is in. Creating a field of sustained damage to those that come too close. Friendly individuals find that this field deals no damage to them. Deals light damage to any without electrical resistance. If struck by a water attack this negates the passive for three posts. Hundred foot range.
Hyper-Regeneration|Combat Passive|RAM UPGRADE: This digimon is capable of regenerating a medium amount of damage per posting round. Upon being struck with any enemy attacks it is boosted to a heavy amount of regeneration for three posts and then goes on a cooldown of Six posts afterwards. Healing abilities, status effects, defensive abilities or otherwise friendly/unfriendly abilities stall out this regeneration for the duration of effect. Move: 14 Orbs: This ability allows Baihumon to shoot a multitude of varying lightning bolts at a target dealing high damage to them within a range of three miles. This requires line of sight or knowledge of the target. These bolts of lightning are strong enough to punch through solid rock, various metals and even scar digizoid. Three post cool down. What was going on could be considered pure pandemonium at this point, as everyone turned their attention towards the orb and it's owner, before unloading literally everything that they had in store in that general direction. So, everybody seemed to have the same idea in mind here. That being that the orb was likely capable of being broken. Coolmon turned towards Aya, "Gonna need more firepower if we wanna crack this egg!"
...It was really far from an egg, but the knight -could- see what her partner was saying, all things considered. But, there was an issue in that she didn't have much left in the way of offensive cards...And she only had one more left to use. "...Close the distance." Was all she said as she swiped a card. Justimon took a sprint in the direction of the orb, as a blade appeared in her other hand. She plunged it into the ground, lightning erupting from the point and surging towards the orb! Relevant Passives: One for All: Justimon is inspired to fight harder based on how many allies she has present with her. She gains a 20% power increase for every ally of hers present in a battle. This caps out at 50%, three allies. Increases in increments of 12>12>13>13. Twins count as one singular entity, and mercenaries are exempt from this. 3/3 - F U L L P O W E R
I am Here: Justimon is immune to fear-based effects. Why? Because there’s nothing to fear when she’s there.
Heroine: Justimon is -JUSTICE ITSELF.- Do you think it’s easy to break? FOOL! Coolmon gets a 30% flat damage reduction in this form! Aya swipes one final card.

As discouraging as it was to see the Makuramon make short work of all of their attacks and dodging most of them without much hassle, at the very least Behemoth had managed to separate him and the orb for a moment. It however didn't stop said sphere from taking in more data by the minute. Not a good thing for sure.
As it became very clear by everyone's actions they had to at least try to destroy that orb while they could. As Dio's maws parted to send yet another destructive wave of energy to aid in the destruction of the sphere, Gio would find himself somewhat lacking in his offensive options as well, at least in having something that didn't require him to get any more close to the orb than needed. Without wasting another moment Carlos would follow Aya's example as he too took out a card and swiped it along his D-Arc. Soon after multiple green vines would sprout out of the Hadesmon's arms, who would then swing said limbs downwards hoping to whip the sphere into the floor with the vines. The question in the trio's head however, still remained: would all of this be enough?
Dio aims a Red Volt at the sphere, while Carlos uses the card Algorythm Reach on Gio to pile on the damage.
JT-33 Card Name: Algorithmic Reach Type: Upgrade Rank: Platinum Duration: 3 Posts Effect: Vines sprout from the target Digimon's body, writhing around like those of Algomon. They are strong yet flexible, whether used to whip at opponents or to grapple with them.
Red Volt: An upgraded version of NeoDevimon's Red Ray. Gathering power from within and his surroundings Belphemon fires a massive red beam of destructive energy from his mouth, causing heavy damage and piercing through shields and armor. Three posts cooldown.

Behemoth however, wasn't done yet as the bike skid in the dirt as it circled around to take another pass at the Monkey it had failed to outright kill and the human commanding it. Perhaps, per it's limited reasoning, if the deva was dead then It's mistress would be released. With the low guttural snarl of it's engines it brought itself to speed once more as two slots opened up in the front nose armor of the bike as it took aim... then launched. Firing a pair of flash bang canisters right at Makuramon and the older Tamer hoping to damage and disorientate them so he could crush the monkey beneath his wheels once more. Behemoth used Flash Cannon on MakuramonA ranged defensive measure, firing flash-bang grenades at up to a medium distance. Can disorient Digimon up to your level for one post. Once used, cannot be activated for another two posts. 3/thread limit. Behemoth aims to RAM Makuramon once more with it's Battering Ram

Two different approaches: go for the Makuramon to break the spell, or go after the orb directly to try and disrupt the orb. As Gio sprinted into mid-range and the Justimon closed the distance to attack directly, Moeru found himself once more without a direct line of sight on the sphere.
This left him to direct his own Justimon to fire on the remaining deva, who already had most of his attention drawn towards the bike! "Tch..." Kicking back up to his feet, the monkey let out an angry howl of laughter, as if taunting the bike! All he really had to do was get out of the way of the bike and - damn it, the light! Caught right in the flashbang, the Makuramon blindly kicked to jump straight upwards, the bike hurtling its way straight under the monkey, which gave the Justimon a perfect shot:
"Fire! The red haired tamer directed his shot, and a powerful, crimson beam roared outward, quickly leaving the Makuramon as a mere faint shadow beneath the light. He too became a mere flick of data in the wind, earning the Wizardmon's approval. "Well, that's that, at least!"
"Tch... I'd have rather fired on the orb." Moeru grit his teeth as the rest of the attacks poured in. Lightning scoured the earth around the treasure orb; Justimon's own blast surging forth, as the twins ranged assault further poured down on it. It didn't take long for the prison to splinter.
"... Infecting that data with the D-Reaper's might have made this a little easier." Moeru was guessing, but with the D-Reaper tinged in his system, he felt something that spoke to his inner instincts, something like a primal fear that existed deep within the emotionless code. A vastness that even the D-Reaper couldn't hope to comprehend, a 'limit' to what it was able to reach.
Lee, the elderly tamer, looked on at the orb from behind a thin light screen, blocking out the mass of dust that was kicked in his direction. His own Digivice pulsed with a bright light, before the screen grew cold and dark, as a terminal crack split the sphere straight down the center. Time seemed to halt for a moment, before a massive signal burst from that same spot.
A mass of flame. A bright flash and a sheer burst of energy that tore away at the vines and threatened to toss anyone nearby back a great distance, as an ashen figure's wings erupted from the core like a divine egg. Despite this, the beast's revival was far from grateful, as the beast staggered forward, breath haggard, breath haggard. The Sovereign of Flame, Zhuqiamon, had made its appearance - though as its color returned, it was far from its peak. Only two orbs, and the sparking remnants of a third, surrounded its neck, the beast stretching its wings for balance. It was as if it hadn't expected to be 'freed' yet - and despite its appearance, Zhuqiamon did not give any sort of taunt or cry.
In fact? A glance at its beak would show it pried, trying its hardest to keep hold of the winged Beelzemon in its grip, desperately trying to maintain the data it needed to stabilize.
Its eyes flicked, seeing the crowd around him.
"Oh, hell-"
"Barrier!"
Wizardmon's cry came with a powerful beat of the Sovereigns wings, a torrent of flame cast right in the group's direction - a wave of fire threatening to crash right down over the Justimon, the wake of the 'wave' carrying over towards Dio and Gio, and even the roaring bike out in the distance. The Wizardmon himself created a shield - enough to hold the Datamon, Moeru, Aya, and Carlos in, while the wave of fire would both crash over and around them.
"Well now..." The elderly tamer sighed.
"There's not an ounce of you left there, is there, Hawkmon?"
The sphere has cracked. Makuramon has fallen.
Enough data has been absorbed to restore two more of the divine spheres. Hawkmon ascends to an imperfect form of Zhuqiaomon.
Zhuqiaomon is poisoned, and far below Sovereign level proper, but is still desperately seeking data to increase its form. From its awkward position, it uses an imperfect 'Blazing Helix' to try and sweep away the fighters in front of it.

The Beelzemon's form bucked and shifted where it was clamped within the Phoenix's mouth. One moment there was two wings, then six, black feathers, then white, a Beelzemon and then a vision of a newborn god. As rivets of crimson data bleed out of them where the Sovereigns beak was clamped about Cross's middle leaving the medic to writhe and struggle in pain. The whole world narrowing down to a single focal point. And within her sparked an ancient and age old hunger. She had been an abomination nursed upon the succor of the blood of a northern forest god willingly given. She had taken their data and their teachings to heart and had come here head bowed and palms open in an offering of peace. Blood called to blood after all, but if the Phoenix would not recognize the blood of his fellows flowing within her veins then she would feast upon the data in its.
Lashing her whiplike tail out the Beelzemon aims to wrap it around the Phoenix's throat choking Zhuqiamon from swallowing her whole as she digs her clawed fingers into it's face. The razorsharp points ripping and tearing into data and flesh digging themselves in as Cas's eyes begin to glow a bright searing crimson red. Before they channeled a pulse of black caustic eroding darkness through their claws and beneath the skin of Zhuqiamon's face. It was an amazing display of firepower by the party that brought the orb's destruction to fruition and the monkey's own demise around. There was a small pang of regret as she knew that these people honestly wanted to help the digital world at it's fundamental core but... The way they were going about it put the current nows in danger and that sort of thing would be in terms... Short sighted choices. People would hate them for fighting this monster. Fighting this massive being that was currently trying to eat a beezlemon. Holding the other digimon in it's massive beak while also getting attacked by the same. Holly felt something crack inside of her, something primal. Something that wanted release and something that she could only describe as a fury that her mother had told her about. A fury that had led her to killing the wisemon. A fury that outshone everything in every regard, a fury that could only be described as the defensive nature of one family member to the next. She felt that bubbling rage work through her system, work through her mind. Work through her core. She felt the red tint haze work it's way into her vision. She felt her teeth grin, a low throaty growl working through her system. Seeing this, smelling this. Knowing this smell. Understanding who this was. The baihumon's low growl shifted to a steady upper pitch and without warning that crack shifted, buckled and exploded outwards. A roar of such intensity leaping from her lips as her body grew bright and conductive, her fangs and claws becoming pin points of this energy as the baihumon forced her body to respond to her commands. This was the first time she was super mega so the use of her energy was terrible but. "LET HER GO YOU SON OF A BITCH."Her voice carried and wasn't anything like her earlier voices. Something deep and primal had broken inside of her and the pitch of her roar was on par with the same roar that only a few here would recognize from an earlier event in the year. Holly kicked off of where she was standing, bull rushing herself through the fire. Not caring if it hurt or what force was associated with it. She at this point didn't care about the pain she'd feel but she knew she had to get her auntie out of there. The bird would find her bearing down on it and with a mighty swing of her claws the Baihumon aimed to hit the back of the bird's neck. Her intent? Using the knockback to slam the bird down into the ground, hopefully making it scream out in pain and release her auntie. The fact that this wasn't the end of the whole matter was quite alarming for Aya and Coolmon, especially since they were now out of actual cards to swipe here. Which was, admittedly, a pity. In front of them was, all things considered, the actual Zhuqiaomon, Sovereign of the South and Flame .
It was weakened. But it was still the genuine one. And it wished them dead. A god that wished it's subjects dead was obviously, and words will not be minced here, a shitty one. While Aya covered her eyes (seriously, the flames were quite bright) and was spared the fire thanks to Wizardmon's shield...One would expect the fires to wash over and consume Coolmon, right? Well...She braced for impact. Fire washed over the Justimon, searing at her very form for but an instant before the mega level broke out into a sprint, her arm shifting into the Accel configuration before she leapt at the beast.
One would expect a heroic speech. But, Coolmon had none. All she had was a single fist to beat the bird down with, in tandem with Holly and Cross' own attacks. And should this fist coming down upon the imperfect god connect?
It was going to hurt. Far more than Coolmon had just been hurting. Relevant Passives: One for All: Justimon is inspired to fight harder based on how many allies she has present with her. She gains a 20% power increase for every ally of hers present in a battle. This caps out at 50%, three allies. Increases in increments of 12>12>13>13. Trinity Arm: Beyond Infinity: Justimon summons forth all of the power she has, and converts her trinity arm into the Accel Arm configuration. In the span of less than a couple seconds, the whole tide of the battle shifted dramatically yet again. Twice. The orb and last remaining Deva had apparently been dealt with, but alas the data they had gathered had still been enough. Enough for what? Apparently bringing a freaking Sovereign back to life of all things. Needless to say, even with their limited understanding in the matter the trio realized how bad of a turn this was. And Zhuqiaomon wasted no time in letting them know as such, almost immediatelly raining down its holy wrath upon everyone. While luckily the Wizardmon was quick on his feet and managed to keep the humans safe from the flames with his magic, much to Carlos' very momentary relief, the twins were not so lucky, being caught by the blast with little to no time to react...other than Dio sending his massive frame forward and stretching his wings, trying to take in as much of the attack in his brother's stead as possible. A noble, selfless sacrifice at a first glance...were it not for the fact said flames did not quite hurt the Belphemon, but rather seemed to do the opposite, his body seemingly absorbing and being fueled by some of the flames as it passed through him. It was quite excilarating, he had to admit. Once the bird's attack as over he too would follow Coolmon and Holly's example, rushing forward to meet the god head on, blue flames beginning to light up along his frame on the way. Even shielded by his brother however, the Hadesmon was not unscathed by the blinding attack, the searing flames from the Zhuqiaomon still partially reaching Gio, singing his armor and sending a burning pain coursing through him. The pain, coupled by the blinding light and the Zhuqiaomon's look caused quite an odd reaction in the Hadesmon, bringing forth something he couldn't quite put his finger on. A primal, instictual fear. And for three seconds, Gio acted on pure instinct, reacting to said fear the best he could. His blade like tail dug into the ground, a glowing circle expanding in the ground not unlike ripples in water. And for a moment, it would seem that was all the demonic centaur did. Unless of course, one decided to look up, just above the Sovereign and the battle that would soon surround it: partially illuminated by the flames and various attacks from the group a large object could be seen descending from the black clouds of the Dark Area, and for those that saw it in time it would be a sight both impressive and frankly almost absurd: an enourmous blade almost as wide as the Zhuqiaomon and easily far taller made it's rapid descent upon the battlefield, the gigantic sword summoned by Gio in a fit of fear and rage intent on skewering or at the very least knocking down the god like bird. And even if it didn't hit it's mark well...it was obvious that something that big would be rather hard to ignore if it landed. Gio takes heavy damage from Zhuqiaomon's attack, and reacts in kind with Yamato, while Dio is healed and charges at the bird with Dark Onslaught.
Very relevant Passives:
[Passive] Hell raised: This ability allows this digimon to be unburdened by fire damage. Instead of damaging this digimon fire heals it for half of the intended damage, but he also takes double damage from water based attacks.
[RAM Upgrade Giga] Axon Charge: Due to Gio’s rather odd upbringing and traces of his old demon lord data, his body and very core react to physical trauma in an different way. On top of an increased tolerance to pain, every time Gio receives damage from a named move he stores a part of the attack’s energy within him, giving him a charge. He can store up to five of these charges. Every charge gives him a 5% increase in damage to all of his named moves, though he loses a charge for every two turns without receiving damage. Furthermore he can spend all five charges to create a medium ranged explosion around him causing heavy damage to up to two targets, but can’t gain charges for the next two turns. Actives:
Dark Onslaught: Belphemon inbues his body with the blue hued flames of Sloth, making his attacks deal double damage and reducing the damage taken by half, at the cost of some of his speed. Lasts for 2 posts and has a cool down of 5 posts.
Yamato: Gio stabs his bladed tail deep into the ground and opens a large portal in the sky, from which a single sword of massive size (35ft) falls and attempts to crush the target. Due to its massive size it deals heavy damage in an area where it lands (affecting up to three targets), and deals massive damage to anyone unfortunate enough to be hit directly. Can only be used two times per thread, and Gio is completely rooted in place one turn after the summoning. 5 turn cooldown.
Cooldowns:
Dio: Red Volt: (1/3)

Lance of Erebus (2/2)

The ensuing moments were nothing but bedlam. Chaotic enough that the elderly tamer opened up a portal, sparing a mere glance over his shoulder as he stepped away.
As the Wizardmon held that shield, his and the humans' vision cut off by a wall of bright, searing flame, the sorcerer found himself driven to his knee, gritting his nonexistent teeth as the barrier cracked under the force. "Damn it, don't slack off on me now!" The nearby Datamon's voice crackled through, wires extending from his frame to bolster the barrier around them. With a pulse of light, the now-dome-shaped shield closed around the bottom, lifting the group above the wake of fire. Twenty yards up, they'd finally be able to get a good scope of what was happening.
"Well, can't say I quite expected this..." The sorcerer looked down at the battlefield in astonishment. Moeru, feeling the strain of the situation, called out: "Justimon, defend!" Unlike Coolmon's form, 'Deputymon' had better stock at long range anyway. The mega positioned himself in front of the barrier, just as the chaos unfolded below. Between the Baihumon, the other Justimon, and especially Gio: "Everyone's moving in a panic. Tch..."
Damn it, this was how accidents happened. For the immediate moment, though, the newly awakened Zhuqiamon found itself distracted. Its beak was clamped around quite a problematic foe, and Cassandra's clawing and strangling was met with a tighter grip from the bird's beak, intending to dig further into her sides, and shut up the demon's protest once and for all. She'd also be met with a harsh, craning swing of its neck, thrashing as that blast cleanly seared into one of its left eyes.
A black mark was left, the eye closed - but Holly's cry and the Justimon's movement earned the bird's attention. The Phoenix would not easily give the loudmouth Baihumon her opening, beating its wings once to pull himself off the ground. Baihumon's rush was met with the sovereign's sternum, a heavy blow pushing the Phoenix back - just in time for the Justimon to rush through from below, and for something sinister to split the clouds above. For a moment, it might have appeared that the Sovereign might have been pushed back in one fell swoop.
Enough.
It would not be so simple. The deity might have been bruised, wounded, and drained, but the Sovereign finally had its bearings. Wings outstretched, a powerful, whipping wind began to build up around its claws, the Sovereign letting forth one beat of its wings.
'Rengokusou'. Purgatory Claws. Zhuqiaomon's Storm. The Justimon and Baihumon would suddenly find themselves face-to-face with winds of a devilish hurricane, a sheer force of wind threatening to bury them down into the earth itself. As that storm tore forth, that blade above would sheer its way down...
... Right through the Zhuqiaomon's left wing, but also into the earth below, threatening to catch both Justimon and Baihumon in its wake.
Zhuqiaomon regains its senses. One of its eyes is destroyed by Cassandra's efforts. But in contrast, the Phoenix properly recognizes its catch, and doubles down its effort to bite against the Beelzemon, thrashing its head to try and wear down its prey. Thunder-Fang partially hits, though the Phoenix braced itself for impact. With Justimon's approach, Zhuqiaomon unleashed Rengokusou, a Sovereign ability, to generate a storm of wind to attempt to keep Holly and Coolmon in place. Yamato tears through one of Zhuqiaomon's wings, triggering the passive 'Burning'. Yamato also tears through to the ground - threatening to either strike the Baihumon or Coolmon, or at the very least catch them in its wake.

Of course, felling such a colossal piece of poultry was not really going to be that easy. Coolmon had closed the gap and suffered some damage for it, sure, but a single beat of the wings left Coolmon and Holly in a buffeting windstorm. This was a rather troublesome matter on it's own, though it wasn't one that Coolmon couldn't try clawing her way out of no matter how slowly.
And then, Gio's Yamato ended up piercing through one of the wings and coming down towards her and the Baihumon. This was admittedly something that she could defend against, and the Justimon leapt up to do just that. She raised her arm as a barrier of Digizoid erupted forth from it, the same shield from far earlier into the fight, to take the blade head-on and leave Holly free to retaliate from where she was.
Coolmon tries to force her way through Rengokusou to attempt using Digizoid Barrier to stop Yamato in it's path.
Digizoid Barrier [RAM Upgrade]: A nonconventional form of the Trinity Arm, Justimon brings the arm forward as it expands into a shield that is capable of reflecting one Mega or lower level move back at an opponent, and tanking other moves quite well! Three turn cooldown.
Cooldowns: Beyond Infinity: 0/LMFAO Digizoid Barrier: 0/3

Enough? Enough?Holly felt her rage bubbling over, did this stupid bloody bird thing that he could just say a single word and brush away the group in front of him? Sovereign or not this was insulting beyond any other opponent that the baihumon had faced before. The devilish hurricane that slammed her down and started to bury her into the earth was met with a fierce roar of anger. "NO! IT'S WE WHO HAD ENOUGH YOU STUPID FUCKING BIRD!"Holly pulled herself from the earth, feeling her body ache. This fight had been wearing on everyone hadn't it? Not just herself! A pair of eyes narrowed and watched Coolmon dash forward to deal with that sword from their ally. Leaving her open to act... She didn't waste the chance. The baihumon drew in energy, drawing from her reserves. She was always the energetic sort, always having the energy to push on but she knew that at this point it was do or die. She'd push herself further, harder and work with her allies to bring down this bird! She wasn't going to allow herself to stop fighting, or those around her. Her fur started to ripple as the energy from her gullet warped into a ball right in front of her mouth. It was far bigger than the previous one, as she now had a grasp on the ability. She'd chomp down on this ball of energy, the arcs of energy that came off of it digging burrows into the ground around her... ...And with a roar of anger the Baihumon opened up her mouth, targeting the Sovereign's chest... And let loose a impossibly powerful beam that ripped through the air. It tore through it like a skalding hot knife through water, the crackling and sizzling as it even burned the air as it passed through it. Holly had gone a bit overboard and was left coughing as she could feel her throat being a touch raw. Log: -Like mother like daughter? -Holly uses the opening that Coolmon gave her to employ Hyper Nova Cannon, aiming directly at the Bird's chest. Passive: Iron Lord|Combat Passive: If it is one thing, Baihumon is durable.
MoveHyper-Nova-Cannon: This digimon concentrates it's energies into it's mouth, creating a localized ball of pure electrically based plasma. It chomps down onto this ball swallowing the energies to mix into it's bodies for a short time. This digimon then fires an impossibly powerful attack, dealing intense damage in a straight line up to five hundred feet. Capable of punching through defensive moves and bypassing resistances even to it's same typing. This move is considered an anti-defensive move. It's standard cooldown is three posts, when used against a defensive move this move's cooldown increases by the same amount as the defensive move used. Duration: Mountain of the iron lords: [3/5] Cooldown: TBVCC: [5/6] Weaver: N/A HNC: [0/3] MOTIL: [0/5]

Honestly? It was a refreshing change of pace for Carlos to have some actual protection from the collateral damage during a digimon fight for once. Had his partners not been fighting for their lives he would have thanked the Wizardmon for the timely save. Something else to add to the list if they actually made it out of this fight alive.
Meanwhile down on the now windy battlefield, the Hadesmon seemed to finally realize the destruction he had commanded in such a short time frame...and how close he had been of actually hurting his friends because of it.
"W-what?" He muttered, audible confusion and distress in his tone. "Did I do-"
"GIO!" The Belphemon cut him off, his growling voice barely audible above the sound of the destructive wind from the bird. "Apologize later!" Recognizing how much of a threat the demon in the Zhuqiaomon's beak was to the Sovereign, and really just wanting to keep the weak god from draining more power to sustain itself, Dio reached for the head as well, the blue flames covering his body converging into his arms and gauntlets, and his now blue glowing claws were aiming to dig and slash into it in an attempt to help release the Beelzemon. All the while Gio finally seemed to get a grip as well, half his attention on taking out his bladed tail from within the soil, the other half on aiding on the group's efforts to bring the firebird down, this time on a more controlled, less destructive fashion as his wings parted again, shooting out and raining down electrically charged sharpnel on Zhuqiaomon.
Gio shoots at Zhuqiaomon once again with Infernal Monsoon, while Dio uses a Dark Onslaught powered Dimension Cut on the bird.
Dimension Cut: In a brutal display of power Belphemon slashes forward with his claws, after which a barrage of ethereal slashes cut the recently slashed area, dealing high damage. One post cooldown.
Infernal Monsoon: The bladed quills from his wings become electrified with plasmic energy and shoot up to a distance of 100 feet, raining down upon the enemy and causing medium damage to up to two targets. 4 turn cooldown.
Cooldowns:
Dio: Red Volt: (2/3)
Dark Onslaught: (0/5)
Dimension Cut: (0/1)
Gio: Infernal Monsoon: (0/4)
Dark Claw - Subdue: (4/4)
Dark Claw - Rend: (3/3)
Yamato (1/5)

Persistent, weren't they?
Between the friendly fire and the gale force winds, the nearer Justimon was forced to simply 'grin and take it' with a shield. It left Holly to deal with the beyond-hurricane force winds that were currently forcing the embodiment of steal to dig further into the ground. The weakened Sovereign now found himself focused, eyes trained on two key bits of movement.
One: The blinding light building in Holly's fangs.
Two: The reckless Belphemon charging right towards the Phoenix's head.
Were its beak not occupied, Dio's charge might have been for naught - but as it was, the Phoenix had no easy access to Kouen or Phoenix Fire while the Beelzemon seemed intent on choking its neck! Zhuqiaomon's protest continued, a sharp snap of its beak given with the intent of reminding the demon of its injuries. This was matched with the beast giving a beat of its wings, pulling himself a small distance away from the group. And the moment it did so, all of its remaining wings - and even the fiery apparition that appeared in place of one - lit with a brilliant blue light.
Desolation Blast.
His target was primarily the upstart Sovereign aiming to try and level that cannon at its chest: with a powerful beat of its wings, several azure, blazing-hot fireballs would rain down, both at and around the Sovereign, intent on trying to simply beat down the worn fighter before she could get that shot off. Gio's own efforts would cause the bird to grit its proverbial teeth, an electrical current running through its wings - but somehow, it held fast. His eyes were focused on one thing:
Opportunity. And so as Gio tried to use claws of flame to try and cut at the Sovereign's head, the Phoenix would beat its wings once more, carrying itself upward - before attempting to close them around the Belphemon. His claws would swing right at the Sovereign's chest, but should this hold work, it would also put Dio right in the path of something critical.
If Holly wanted to use her best shot - to try and do the most damage to the Sovereign, and hit its core?
She might have to shoot right through the demon.
The Phoenix is pressed. Gio's electrical surge damages the Pheonix - and he returns Desolation Blast while beating his wings to retreat.
It is likely Holly might endure that. But as Dio slashed forth, he might find himself right in the crossfire...
