Kaiden's plane had landed in Shibuya an hour ago. The plane ride itself had been as pleasant as one could expect a ride in coach to be. Not that Kaiden would have complained, he was just...happy wasn't the right word. Content maybe? That seemed like a good enough word to describe how he felt about finally being able to visit Japan. The Land of The Rising Sun. It had been a place of intense interest for the young man for years now. It was like a melting pot of everything that inspired Kaiden as creative. Because of that, he should have been more excited. Yet, he couldn't help but find himself sighing heavily as he slung his backpack over his shoulder. Pulling his wheeled briefcase along behind him as he walked the streets.
Kaiden was nervous, anxious even, and it was almost overwhelming. Enough to make him consider turning around and head back to Maine. Back to the safety that the world he was familiar with offered him. The only reason he couldn't bring himself to do it was because of the disappointment he could already see on his mother's face. She had worked so hard to get him here. He'd basically be spitting in the face of all that hard work by turning back now. The young man let out another sigh. His knuckles turning white as he tightened his grip on the handle of his briefcase. "I can do this." he muttered, a clear lack of confidence in his statement present in his voice.
It was late, and while the streets were still filled with people, it was by no means as crowded as it could have been. Which was good for Kaiden. Because he didn't too well in large crowds. As he continued to walk though Kaiden couldn't help but get the feeling he was being chased by something. It caused the hair on the back of his neck to stand on end. It was just his imagination though right? Surely no one would be interested in someone as mediocre and small as himself. "I better hurry to the hotel..." a whisper as he picked up his pace.
Kaiden wasn't too far off from the truth though. Someone, or rather, something, was indeed following him. A mysterious force trying to push itself free from the barrier between worlds. As it attempted to do so the world would react. Streets lamps began to flicker and strange lines of coding began to display along the screens of various bits of technology. Those currently engaged in phones calls found them suddenly cut short and the crackling of painful white noise forcing them to move their phones from their ears. Whatever this force was fast approaching it and only one thing was certain about it. It and the effects it produced were following behind Kaiden as he walked.

Geeze, is it that late already? Kenny thought as he walked through the streets of Northern Shibuya, trying to get to the place dad told him to wait at. It was quite the night out for him. Earlier on, he and Skadi had hung out at the local Cat Street, mainly chilling out at the arcade and having a bite to eat.
It did help that thanks to her cute, fluffy form, Skadi could easily masquerade as a stuffed animal. If anyone asked, he could just claim he just won her from a claw game.
Now here he was, Skadi safely napping in her Digivice to recharge her batteries, while he was going over to the spot where he and dad agreed to meet. It had been getting late, and he needed sleep, as indicated by him yawning as he plodded along to the spot. He needed sleep badly. And he felt a little jealous, too. Skadi practically had it made.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, the streets started to turn just a little wonky. Kenny looked in surprise as the lights started to flicker rapidly, and screens started to show lines of code. A chorus of crackling phones started to fill the air, enough to wake Skadi up from her slumber. Something was wrong. Who, or what, was causing all this?
He looked around a bit, before he spotted his source: a red haired boy dragging a wheeled briefcase as walked along, leaving a trail of disruptions among his path. Was this a Digimon in a holosuit causing havoc without even noticing it?
In his communication device, Skadi whispered quietly, "Heads up, Kenny, I think I can detect a Digimon nearby." Like if that was hard to tell, what with all the weird shit going on. He knew he had to tackle this issue, lest he let countless civilians die and weight on his consciousness. Pushing his way through all the people, he tried to follow the boy, attempting to keep tabs on him. He tried to call his dad quickly as he did, trying to tell him something was wrong.
Nothing but the glitchy white static again.
Finally, Kenny managed to catch up with the red haired, trailing behind him a bit on the side, and pretending to be a member of a group of people to ensure nothing would go wrong. Even Skadi was on high alert now, ready to emerge and fight whatever Digimon was out there to protect everyone, especially Kenny. He opted to say nothing himself, lest he startle him, or it he was in a holosuit, go apeshit crazy and start attacking everyone.
And after all the shit with Arkadimon, he did not want to risk it again with anyone else.

"Well, that's done and all that..." Karin ticked at her memo. She has formally gave her resignation letter to the band club... she also has returned several unreturned books (and paid hefty amount of fine) to the library... and... what else? Oh right, buying some new roses... She need to brighten her apartment somewhat. Where to buy it in here again? She's not sure... but considering that this area of Shibuya got a cemetery in it, surely they also have some form of florist, right?
"....Mmmm... what to do what to do next..."
It was at this point that Karin's D-Nexus bleeped. She quickly pulled it out and hummed thoughtfully. What happened? Oh... a digital disturbance? Interesting...
Not.
Already the girl with cat eared headphone wondered where on earth would this go. Digimon? Here? She ever heard of Digimon actually appearing in real world, but for it to be actually true...
"You forgot that I actually appeared in front of you in the same way, hm?" beside her, a tall woman with dark brown hair asked. When with one another they looked like stepsisters perhaps. However, it's obvious to those who are digitally aware that this woman is a Digimon too.
"So, what should we do?"
"Follow it, I guess... I saw two signals too."
"Fair~"
Let's hope that they won't get caught in a situation that they can't handle... Hmmm, so who is it? That red haired kid with suitcase? And looks like they're not the only one following him too.
"Hmmm that one is Child stage at most. Perhaps someone who wanted to help."
"You can know that?"
"An experienced Digimon, when you're strong enough, can sense each other's strength. Albeit, in my case, I guess it's similar to danger sense. I'd rather not fight anyone stronger than me, ufufufu~"
