Owen quickly detected Hikaru heading toward the same signal that Haku's SOS was coming from. The MirageGaogamon quickly maneuvered so that he flew next to his husband, giving a nod to him. "As far as I can tell, he's still alive and well, his signal doesn't seem to be fading." he replied, hoping this would be straightforward. The signal seemed to be coming from a cabin in the middle of the tundra. Owen hoped that he would see Haku alive and well from within it. It seemed innocent enough. Smoke was rising from its chimney, lights were glowing from inside, it didn't seem like any kind of immediate danger was present. He landed next to Hikaru, and also listened to the goings on from inside.
Sten meanwhile agreed with Haku's words. "I guess that's so. As long as Owen knows to take care of you all equally, well, then I'd be proud of his ways of being a father to the lot of you."Owen heard this, then blinked with confusion. That voice... it sounded so familiar. And hearing Haku and him speak so gently toward each other, he knew the situation was probably safe. Just... what was this? Then Hikaru knocked on the door. Sten looked up at it, then glanced back at Haku. "Hopefully this is someone you know." the WereGarurumon said, then stood up, walked to it, and opened it. Initially he was a little nervous, seeing an Alphamon and MirageGaogamon, but, realized quickly who these two were. "I take it you're Haku's parents?" he asked, making an inviting gesture. "Please, come in. I assure you he's safe. He just got caught in a blizzard is all."Owen did so, cautiously, but, there was something about this digimon that he recognized. Those yellow eyes... that grizzled expression... memories from a long time ago stirred within him. "...dad?" he asked, rather suddenly. Sten was delighted he recognized him so quickly. "Yeah, Jay. I mean... Owen now... it's me. I'm here." Sten replied. Owen's eyes watered with tears. After all this time, he was still here. How could he have not found him? He embraced his father gladly, sobbing a little with joy. He saw that Haku was alive and well, eating pancakes that smelled of cinnamon. Owen sobbed a little harder as he remembered the significance of this.

Owen thankfully could calm him down. This cabin though... Has there ever been one whenever he gone here? Perhaps he's a bit too preoccupied to notice... But either way, Hikaru is ready to find out who his son spending his time with.
The one inside is a Were Garurumon... An old man, huh?
"Pops! Daddo!" Haku approached the two with his tail wagging. Knowing that his son is fine, Hikaru looked relieved.
"I'm sorry about our son, sir. I hope he's not too much of a bo---"
Dad?
Eh?
EH!?
Hikaru's red eyes widened. He wildly turned his head from Owen to the Were Garurumon.
EH!?
"W-wait a se--!!?"
"Well yes, this is Grandpappy Sten, Pops! He's part of the old DWR... And you see, he's Daddo's dad!"
Now that he remembered about it, Owen did mention something about being part of military in the past... and this... this mon is his father? Hikaru suddenly turned to be the one who's nervous. He quickly pulled out a fine wine from lord know when as a present.
"W-w-well, greetings to you, Father-in-law. My name is Hikaru. I had the fortune of marrying your wonderful son. I had no idea that he have a father, my apologies! Had I know I would invite you to our wedding back then... E-eto, eetooo... Please accept this offering from me, your son-in-law!" for the first time in his few years alive, Hikaru got his tongue tied. He's really bad at this. It was so out of character that Haku pretty much guffawed while taking the picture of the three of them. Owen hugging Sten and Hikaru looking very panicked while holding the wine. It would be a sight to remember.

Sten quickly figured out what the situation here was. Now that the blizzard had died down a little, Haku's emergency signal was able to be distributed, and he had summoned his parents here. Owen at least had the familial recognition to recognize this first, but Hikaru took a little longer to realize what was going on. Sten was rather amused when he saw the gears fall into place in Hikaru's mind as to what this meant. He immediately called him father-in-law, which he was glad to hear. "Nice to meet you, Hikaru. And not to worry about that. While I would have loved to be at your wedding, Haku showed me enough photos of what happened there that I feel glad at how it went."He accepted the gift of the wine bottle and placed it in the cupboard with all of the rest of his precious posessions. As he did so, Owen saw the photograph of himself as Jaelin, next to his father. He trembled a little, seeing for the first time the digimon that he once was - the fearsome soldier that was the captain of the 7/71st Recon battallion of the DWR. He was no longer that digimon. He hoped that Sten would be understanding. "Well... seems our family's caught up with us quicker than expected, eh, Haku?" Sten asked his grandson with a wink. "Well then... guess this means we're all heading to Ys next?""Oh, ah... wow, dad, sure, we'd love to host you there." Owen said, still a little stunned by what he had encountered here.

Going to Ys? "O-of course! Definitely! Please wait a moment while I inform my partner," Hikaru told Sten. Haku know what to do and offered his father his D-Nexus. Hikaru quickly dialed Yuuki, and in extension, his own number. The call was immediately picked up.
"Got Haku back?" was the first thing the human asked.
"Yeah, Haku is fine. Say, Yuuki, do our base has any room for guest?"
"Yeah it does."
"What about a housing?"
"Housing? Uh... lemme ask Jill."
few seconds later, the voice switched to those of Jill.
"That was pretty sudden, Father. How big of a housing you need?"
"One for Were Garurumon... one really close to the base if possible."
"...That was so specific... Well, I guess there is some house on the eastern side... Who is this anyway? Some other unknown brother or sister? Should I just ask the worker to remodel the base at it?" Jill's voice sounded teasing.
"No, no, honey... it's your paternal grandpa."
There was several moment of silence, before Jill answered back.
"....My what?"
"Gr--"
"It's on the east, Orenes Avenue, house number 7, block C. Its close enough to Dad's second house. Meet you there."
and with that the communication is closed. Perhaps Jill was a bit too hasty to prepare everything.
Haku snickered. "I love how efficient she is. Well! Time to go to Ys then Grandpappy!" Haku merrily told his Grandpa.

Sten was glad to see all the necessary calls were being set in motion. He grinned at Haku. "Your parents have good heads on their shoulders indeed." he stated. "Your siblings too" he added as he heard Jill's communications. Owen meanwhile was speechless at what to say to his father. He didn't know that he even existed in this timeline, but, here he was, just as he remembered him. Even though he stood in the hut in his armored MirageGaogamon form, he really didn't know how to deal with this. Thankfully, Sten understood this. He didn't expect anything out of the ordinary from Owen, not until they would have a good, long conversation in private. Until then, they would only pay attention to how Hikaru and Haku were feeling about this. Before long though, according to the communications, it seemed Sten's grandaughter Jill had worked out accommodation for him. So, this seemed like the moment where Sten would be living with his family. "...Are you alright with this, son?" Sten asked Owen gently. Owen paused in his response for a moment. His memories of life with his father were fractured and fragmented, but... he could remember only good things with him. Sten was a wonderful, kind digimon that had brought out the best in him. And he was assured that things would be the same now, especially in how he and Haku had interacted today. "Yeah... I'm okay with it, dad" Owen replied with a smile. "I'd be delighted if you returned with us to Ys, and get to know the rest of your grandchildren."Following this, Owen supposed there wasn't much to say, other than to arrange the transportation of Sten's household back to their city. Owen was a little stunned as to the full consequence of all this, but, for the time being, he was delighted.

"He's usually cooler than this," Haku admitted with a smirk. One that Hikaru just returned wryly behind his mask. "But a panicking Pops is great too."
"Erase that from your database you scamp," Hikaru joked.
"Hey, no way! It's something of a lifetime treasure!"
"Darn it, fine, how much do you want?"
"Not even 50000 bits and a new car would make me erase that from my memory database!"
The two stared at each other for a while before guffawing with laughter. "Yeah, sorry, I'm not used to this sort of thing. With Yuuki's mom and dad it's easier to me because they're... I guess they're like my aunt or my uncle... but with father-in-law I felt like I have to... get the maximum score of approval, you know?"
"Just calm down Pops, hehehe~"
And looks like everyone is in agreement. "Father, you can return tomorrow or the day after tomorrow to pick up the rest of your stuff. We'll be sending a packing Locomon together with you to help you packs your stuff. For the meantime, I guess it's best if we go back home."
Jill was in panic. She practically parkoured to her room and rummaged her dresser for the proper clothes for this. After deciding which one, she ran to Perry's room.
"BALDUR, GET PERRY SOME GREAT CLOTHES TO GO OUTSIDE. WE HAVE SOME VVVIP GUEST HERE THAT WOULD LIKE TO MEET ALL OF US."
Then she does the same to the rest of her family that is available on the base. She only gave them the location where to meet. For the meantime, she herself has ran toward the location where they're supposed to meet. The Eastern housing district.
There, she just tried to appear as great as possible, waiting for her grandfather right in front of his new house, just in time for them to see her.
"Oh Jill!"
"Looks like you're well, Haku."

When the initial SOS call from Haku had come in - paired with a thick blizzard outside of the safety of Ys, to boot - Persephone was quite worried for her older brother. She knew he had left on a house call, earlier this evening - and initially, the blizzard on its own was enough reason to worry. But the SOS call that went out, as the blizzard finally started to calm, didn't help matters at all - and it set the young Dorumon pacing back and forth in her room. Was Haku going to be okay, out there? Indeed, he was well adapted to the cold, with the thick fur of his Samogaomon form; but even she knew that whiteout conditions were near-impossible to navigate, and thick fur could only last someone for so long.
Thankfully, Hikaru was quick to pick up on the call, judging by the message he sent out not too long ago - and she was sure that Owen was not far behind, either, from where she last recalled that he was. It was a calming thought - enough for Baldur to be able to convince her to sit back down before she could cause her aches to flare up, at least. The Hawkmon was quick to get her some herbal tea so that she could calm her nerves, and from there, all she could do was - well - wait for any word from Dad or Papa on whether Haku was doing okay. But even as she waited, each moment had her quite on edge- unsure of what she was going to hear from her parents, whenever they got back to her.
Before too much longer, though - she would get her answer; though not quite in the way she expected! Persephone's ears would prick at the distant footsteps, rapidly approaching her room - and at first, she was kind of concerned. Who was running around at this time, and why? It wouldn't take long for Baldur to hear either, as the footsteps got closer - and they would pause from dusting Persephone's bookshelves to straighten up, turning towards the bedroom door with quiet puzzlement. "Who in the world...?"
Well... Of all the people that could be running around in the hallways, Jill was the one she least expected! As the Stabimon burst into the room, both Persephone and Baldur would puff up in surprise - the former nearly spilling her tea in the process! Though logically, one would probably be left with many questions, neither of them didn't even have the chance to respond with just how startled they were before Jill was off, running to the other rooms. A few moments of quiet would pass, as Jill's footsteps would fade away - before the duo would share a glance.
"... She's sure excited; if I didn't know any better, I'd think that one of the tykes had bitten her behind, or something, with the rush she was in!" Baldur remarked with a laugh. Persephone couldn't help but nod and laugh with, as she got up from the chair - gulping down the last bit of the tea in her glass as she did. "Well... If an important guest is here, I suppose we'll need to make sure we look presentable..." Persephone would hum - looking thru her wardrobe. Baldur would nod and salute to her, mentioning "I'll meet you in the hall, then, Perry - don't be afraid to gimme a shout if you need help, with anything!" as they made for their room, heading thru the door that connected both their and Persephone's rooms. "Sounds good!" Persephone would call back with a smile and a gentle hum to herself. Now... Should she go with blue, or gold...?
. . . . . . . . . .
Though Persephone and Baldur technically had a head start - with Jill having been running around alerting everyone - the duo would end up arriving after her, between Persephone having to take it easy in the cold, and her walker's wheels sometimes having a little bit of trouble in the snow that'd occasionally blow in. Of the clothes they picked out for this occasion, Persephone wore a nice, blue long jacket with the KIZNA badge pinned to the breast of it - whereas Baldur was wearing their iconic golden scarf, and a fiery orange jacket that matched their facial markings and headfeather.
Nonetheless though, even though Jill was first to arrive, the duo wouldn't be too far behind; and Persephone would perk visibly upon seeing everyone, even if her attention was mostly on a certain older brother. Thank the Soveriegns, she couldn't help but sigh to herself - Haku was okay... Against her (and Baldur's) previous judgement of not wanting to overexert herself in the cold, the Dorumon would pick up her pace - trotting over to Haku to firmly and affectionately nuzzle him - murmuring "I'm glad you're okay, Haku... You scared us..." into his fur. Baldur would nod in agreement, mentioning "I was near ready to break out the hot tub towels to get her to relax, and stop pacing a hole into the floor!" They'd chuckle humorously with the remark; though would add on a more serious note - upon being given a look by Persephone - "Though in all seriousness - it's good to see you're alright. You weren't hurt out there, yeah?"
It didn't take long for Persephone and Baldur to notice that they weren't alone, though. As she finished nuzzling Haku, she would note that a tall WereGarurumon stood among them - and her ears would prick in noticeable curiosity. This digimon was unfamiliar to her - and yet... As she sniffed the air, she couldn't help but note that the werewolf digimon's scent seemed a bit... Similar, to her Papa's scent - something that she only ever noted with how her siblings and herself smelled like Dad and Papa both... Persephone would take a few steps towards Sten, her tail doing a slow curious swish - before she'd glance towards Hikaru and Owen, asking them "Dad..? Papa...? Who's this? He... Kinda smells like you, Papa." While she wasn't immediately sure of who Sten was, though, it seemed that the gears in her head were turning as she glanced to her parents, then to Sten again - staring up at him with visible curiousity.
Baldur, meanwhilst, would politely hang back - they could read the room, and something about this read a bit... Personal. Though he was very close to Persephone, and he had an important role of looking after her when noone else was available, he still sometimes had a little trouble integrating himself into family matters smoothly.

With those words, Sten realized it must be somewhat difficult for Hikaru to be suddenly thrust into this situation. "It'll be fine, really. If my son trusted you enough to marry you, then I trust you too." Sten assured him. Owen blushed a little from hearing those words, but still felt glad to hear them. Even though it had been over 100 years since they last met, Sten was behaving as he remembered, and he was delighted by that. It made his hopes that they could reunite as a family and continue as normal increase. Sten was delighted to hear that preparations could be made to move him in full to where his son's family lived. The WereGarurumon was tearing up a little at all this. His son and son in law... his nine grandchildren, after a century alone, all that was about to end. "Are you okay, dad?" Owen asked, then all of a sudden, Sten hugged him hard again and wept. Owen gently returned it, not feeling the need to say anything else.
Some time after, the group was returning to Ys. It was a long journey, over the Tundra, through a pass in the mountains to the West, then to a beautiful place Sten had never seen before. The Shining Sea, where its gigantic shining crystals dominated the landscape. And from there, they kept to the mountainside, eventually approaching a large civilization. Sten hadn't been near something so big since the fall of the DWR, and he was delighted to see it. The WereGarurumon was wearing his usual outfit of leather armor and tattered jeans, but also was wearing his old 7/71st uniform, partly from tradition, and partly as a bit of extra layer against the cold winds of this area. Owen told him it was safe to do so, because since he was married to the lead digimon of KIZNA, well, the 7/71st were obviously seen as allies here. As they arrived in Ys, Owen was a little surprised but glad to see that several of his children were there to receive them. Logan couldn't have made it in time, since time flows so much faster in the digital world, so that was fine. Bezil had made it though, so he was delighted at that. And furthermore, Matty and Jimmy were here too, looking at Sten with curious expressions, noting he had a familiar scent. Jill was there too, of course. But it was Persephone who approached first, asking who Sten was. Owen was delighted to introduce him. "Perry, this is Sten. My father, and your grandfather." he said, smiling. "Dad, you should know Persephone from the photos, eh?" "I certainly do... and she looks even more pretty in person~" Sten exclaimed, smiling down at the Dorumon. He knew that she was somewhat delicate, so he held back the urge to hug her, and simply knelt and held out his unarmed hand. If she approached, he would pet her cheek gently as a means of greeting. Once that was done, Sten would stand back up and look at the rest of the welcoming party, eager to get to know them better too.

Haku was happy to see Perry too. Although he wanted to scold her for trotting too fast like that, he only can blame himself for this mistake. He returned the nuzzle and hug her gently. "I'm sorry about that, Perry. I had forgotten to check everything in my haste of wanting to make sure that everything is alright. I'm not hurt at all, only... heh, a bit tired and snowed in, but thankfully..." he looked at Sten and smiled. However, this is the time where he let Perry do her own thing. He stepped back to let her do the 2+2 by herself.
Hikaru did not say anything, only contently watched as his daughter approached her grandfather for the first time, sniffing at him. The curious tail swish did not escape him, enough to make the Alphamon chuckled. But even so, to stay in this form is a bit too clunky. He decided to return to his Dorumon form and then shook his body lightly from the snow.
"Still not used being in that form heh... Just gotten my Ultimate stage back."
Jill was next to approach, politely saluting at her grandfather. She wears KIZNA issued uniform, one that meant more to be unisex. Rather than make her cute, it would be apt to say that it made her looks cool instead. She also wore a hat on top of it. "Pleasure to meet you, honored grandfather."
"Jill, that was a bit too stiff," Haku commented. "I know you're not sure how to feel to have a grandfather considering that not all Digimons have them and you're nervous, but that was too stiff. You could just run to him and hug him you know?"
"S-Shut it..." the Strabimon glared at her brother.
"But Haku is right, Jill. You can probably just toss that sort of formality away. There's no fault in loosening up, just today." Hikaru told her. "Your grandfather is a family after all."
Now poked at by her father at it too, she looked at the rest of her family before sighing. Slowly, she reached to her mask... and took it off. The usually cold, serious Strabimon has now showed her more bashful side. Her sharp eyes softened as her face reddened from embarrassment.
"....H-happy that you're here, Grandpa... t-that's what I really feel..."
She looked like a bit too embarrassed to actually run to him to hug him, so instead she looked up back at him again then saluted again, but this time without the mask... and without it, Sten could see just how embarrassed, yet at the same time happy she is.

Persephone would relax into Haku's hug, making a soft and soothed sigh against his fur - settling down and calming down now that she knew that her brother would be okay. "It's okay..." She'd murmur to him in response to his apology, adding "I'm just glad that you're safe and sound..." Regardless of what happened, it was in the past now - she was just happy that Haku was here now, and was okay now. As he trailed off and glanced to Sten, though, she would turn her attention to the tall - much taller - WereGarurumon. So he was who helped Haku out, when the storm blew in...?
Even as she stepped closer to Sten, her tail was still swishing slowly, curiously, and tentatively - almost as though the more instinctive part of her brain that was dealing with her body language was still deciding whether she was more excited, or intrigued. Though this WereGarurumon was an utter stranger, as far as she knew, there was something about his scent that she found soothing. The same way that Owen's and Hikaru's scents were soothing to her, the same way that her siblings' scents were soothing. The smell of family...
Family...
... Her eyes would light up with understanding, recognition, as Owen introduced the two to eachother - and her tail would begin to swish a little faster as she felt... Well... She wasn't exactly sure what it was feeling, to be honest! It was certainly something akin to excitement, to joy - but those words didn't quite describe the feeling she had, either. She could certainly describe the feeling of slight flusteredness, though, that would wash over her - her fur puffing the slightest bit as Sten called her pretty. "Ah... t-thank you," She'd murmur shyly, smiling sheepishly.
But regardless, the other feeling was something unique, in a way - unique only to the feeling of meeting someone who had such a huge impact on her own Papa's life, when he was younger. Seeing Sten, learning that he was her grandfather... It had her tail swishing at an eager pace now, and her claws lightly tapping on the ground as she fidgeted in place. She wasn't sure what to do! Should she hug him? Should she just talk? She didn't know what she wanted to do - though she would quickly notice as Sten knelt down, and held out a hand for her. Slowly, she'd approach - and at first, she expected the WereGarurumon to be offering a handshake, or that he wanted to hold her hand...
... But what she didn't expect, was when he'd stroke along her cheek. She'd blink a second, visibly surprised, before relaxing into the touch. Her tail's swishing calmed, and she settled in leaning against her walker, so that she could tilt her head into his touch - eyes closing as she just... simply breathed. Took in his scent, the scent of her grandfather, and committed it to her memory; this was something that she wanted to remember, and to remember for a long time... "... I'm happy to finally meet you, Grandpa" She'd murmur softly, nuzzling against his hand. "I'm happy you're here..."
She was almost disappointed, when he'd finally pull away - but it at least gave her a chance to notice Jill's shy, flustered demeanor - and how everyone else was just as excited and curious as she herself was! Giggling gently to Jill though, Persephone would nuzzle the other Strabimon - "It's okay to show how you feel, Jill." She would reassure her older sister. "Just be yourself - emotions can sometimes get ahead of us, but it isn't embarrassing to be happy." If this were any other situation, she imagined Baldur would be gently teasing little Jill - but she'd glance over to notice that the Hawkmon was just smiling gently; watching over Persephone, but not interfering with this touching reunion.

Sten smiled at Perry as she approached. He didn't do anything like pull her in for a hug or anything like that, he didn't want to frighten her with such a gesture. For the moment, he would settle with just stroking her cheek gently. There'd be time for closer bonding later at least. Sten had known that Perry needed assistance a lot in Ys, and Sten was only delighted to look after her if others weren't available. He hoped to spend more time with the little Dorumon, sharing stories with her of old times gone. Still though, if she really wanted, Sten would offer a gentle hug, as he had given to Haku and Owen already. The next grandchild he'd meet was Jill the Strabimon. At once, Sten was impressed with her. "Heh, well now, you've certainly got the makings of a soldier there." he complimented her. Haku gently teased her for being a little too uptight, which she seemed to take to heart and at the very least, removed her mask, revealing a somewhat shy face. "Lovely to meet you, Jill." Sten said, saluting her in return. In a way, she reminded him of himself as a Child level. He could see the same mannerisms in her that he had as a Gabumon. "I hope you've been training well, young lady. If you have, I hope to test you to see how far you've come."He offered her a hug as well. If not, he'd settle for a handshake. Then Sten turned to his other grandsons. The first of which was Bezil the furry Gumdramon. "Ah, you certainly look like you take after Owen." Sten remarked, taking in the yellow eyes and determined expression that was so familiar. "Guess you could say that, grandpa." Bezil replied, smiling back at him. Of course there were things he inherited from Hikaru too. The wings for one, and the air of draconic pride. But he didn't have the makings of a soldier it seemed. Yeah, he could hold his own in a scrap, Sten judged, but, conflict didn't seem to be in his nature. "So, you're the adventuring type I gather then, eh?" Sten asked, patting him gently. "Protip, don't get shot in the knee.""Heh, I can handle that, grandpa" Bezil assured, chuckling with a bit of embarrassment, but, still liked the attention. With that, Sten turned to the youngest twins. "Matty and Jimmy... innovator and musician, that's correct, yes?" Sten asked, smiling. They sure looked twins alright, both with yellow and white fur, both with the same red eyes as Hikaru. And both rather small too, but he didn't judge them for that. "Yeah, we might be, what's it to ya?" Matty asked, a little haughtily. Owen was about to reprimand him to not be rude to his grandpa, but Sten stopped him. "Well now, seems I have some respect to earn..." Sten remarked, smiling down at the little digimon. "May I ask what the problem is here?"Matty lowered his head, blushing in embarrassment. In the end it was Jimmy that replied. "It's just... we don't really know what it means to have a grandpa yet." the Musimon admitted. "Hmm, that so?" Sten asked. " Well... how about we do this? We'll learn about each other the best we can, yeah? I might be much older than you two, but, surely there's things we have common interests in?""Well... guess we can try." Matty admitted. Sten smiled and petted the both of them like he had done to Perry. Supposing he had met all the grandchildren he could manage for now, Sten looked to Owen and Hikaru. "Well then, this has all been very wonderful, but, all this activity today has been pretty taxing for an old digimon like me. Do you have a place I can rest at?"

"Heh, less of a soldier and more of an aide-de-camp, Sir," Jill commented. "I'm not a foot soldier, but I fancy myself as a secretary to the leader. Although I do train with some tossing knives," she unsheathed some and offered it to Sten for a closer look. "I'm slightly rustic ever since I took the seat of the secretary, but I'd love to train with you, Grandfather. A new tricks up my arsenal would be very appreciated."
When she was offered a hug, at first she looked surprised... but seeing that Perry encouraged her and even told her that it's OK... well, what can she do? She quickly moved closer to the Were Garurumon and hugged him close. It felt calming, and nostalgic somehow. Did she got most of her data from what Owen got from Sten, and that's why both of them are wolves? Who knows... but she sure enjoyed this.
Jill too wanted to reprimand her youngest brothers for their insolence. Honestly, she forgotten that she did not wear sandals this time around but instead shoes... would there be some in her infini-store? But looks like there's no need to. it's amazing to her how Sten could easily make them back down from their arrogance.
"Yes, actually we're standing in front of your new home, Grandfather," Jill said. She would then turn to the door and unlocked it. It's bigger than Sten's old home. It's just one floor, but there are extra number of rooms, seem Jill picked it in anticipation if her siblings want to stay over or something. She tossed some firewoods to the fireplace and started the flame.
"Your old furniture are scheduled to be moved here tomorrow, Grandfather. You can pick any time you find convenient for you."

The cheekstroking was quite soothing - it was quite obvious that were Sten to continue like this, that Persephone was more than ready to doze off, just like that. Her eyes were closed, her breathing soft and steady, as she simply enjoyed the physical contact - the only things belying that she was still awake were the slow swish of her tail, and her ears gently twitching to even the littlest noises around them. But otherwise? She was very much relaxed like this - enjoying the attention. It would only be when Sten pulled his hand away to offer Persephone a hug, that she would open her eyes - perking up a bit. The Dorumon would smile happily - carefully stepping away from her walker so that she could hug Sten proper, leaning against him as her tail wagged faster - nuzzling her head against his chest.
When time came to part and return to her walker though, she would watch as Sten and Jill interacted - the two coming together for a hug. She couldn't help a soft giggle and a warm smile, happy to see Jill being able to relax and express her affection just like everyone else. She couldn't help but find it adorable - considering how used she was to Jill being more serious and no-nonsense, thinking back to Baldur's and Jill's back and forths from time to time. She was glad that Baldur was happy to let Jill be herself for a second, without the mask, as a result - it was healthy to relax every once in awhile.
When it was the twins' turn with Sten though, and Matty reacted haughtily, Persephone would gently chide and nuzzle him with a soft "Now now..." - almost like a mother might. She wasn't scolding or reprimanding Matty, though; she was never one for that. Even while helping babysit her two little brothers, when they were still young, she wouldn't even raise her voice at them. Instead, the chiding was just her way of gently reminding Matty to be mindful. that even while this was something new for all of them, a little common courtesy still went a long way, even if the twins didn't know how to approach Sten quite yet. "It's okay if you two are still a little unsure - you both will have all the time in the world to get to know your grandpa, just take it one step at a time." She'd mention to the twins with a warm smile, kindly requesting to them "All I ask is you show him at least a little bit of courtesy and tolerance - I don't expect you to automatically respect and honor him..." She paused to chuckle gently. "... but he's had a long day, I'm sure. Would you two do that for me - at least for today - please?"
She would nuzzle them both now - though would grunt a bit at the effort of leaning in, and straightening back up. It seemed that, much like how Sten was ready to get indoors for some rest, that the cold and activity of today was starting to tax on her muscles. Baldur was quick to notice this - stepping up to her side, and softly whispering "You doing alright?" to her. Persephone would glance over to Baldur, before smiling faintly - murmuring back "I'm okay, the cold's just starting to get to me some. I'll probably take a dip in the hot tub when we're done here, so don't worry - but thank you." Baldur nodded, leaving it at that - simply murmuring to her "Just don't overexert yourself, like the other day." "Eheh, don't remind me..."
As Jill unlocked the front door to Sten's new house though, and went inside to start up the fireplace, Persephone would poke her head in - glancing around curiously. She seemed eager to explore a little, and get out of the cold - but was unsure if she should come inside, or start getting ready to get back to the base, and would glance back to her family to see what they would do. Whilst it seemed big enough to let some of them visit and stay over for a couple days, she couldn't help but wonder if it'd be cramped or not for the whole family to be in there!

Sten was happy to embrace his granddaughter. Even though she might be physically weak from her condition, he could feel there was a strength from within - a determination to thrive with whatever she had. And he could tell that she had been raised with care and kindness as well. He was so proud of his family. Following that, Sten turned to Jill, impressed with the way she conducted herself. "Ah, I understand." he said as she said she was more of an aide-de-camp. "And of course, I'd be delighted to teach you some tricks from the old DWR Recon. It might have been a long time ago, but, I did my best to keep up a daily training regimen to stop me going rusty."Matty and Jimmy listened to their elder sister, both blushing a little from how they realized how haughty they had come across as. Neither of them wanted to cause any more trouble after that. "We will, Perry." Matty promised, and Jimmy mentioned the same. They then cautiously offered a hug to Sten, but were surprised when he scooped them both up and let them ride on his shoulders. The Onmon and Musimon were astonished, this was certainly a high place for them, but Sten held them securely. "Ahh, that's alright, boys, no need to worry about a reflexive action." Sten assured them. "How about I tell you a tale from the old world before rest tonight, eh? You and your brothers and sisters? I've had over 100 years to refine it into an interesting tale you know~"Jill then led them to a house where she said would be Sten's home. The old WereGarurumon was delighted with what he saw. It was nothing majestic, but still seemed to be a place big enough for him to be comfortable. He was especially glad of the spare rooms, which meant that if Owen and Hikaru were out and needed someone to look after their children, Sten would be able to take care of them. "This is everything I could ask for, Jill, thank you." Sten told her, smiling. "Well, if this is my home now, you're all welcome to stay a little while, or head back home. If you stay though, I can cook up a pot of cinnamon porridge for supper if you like.""...you know what, dad?" Owen asked, having de-digivolved back to Gaomon. "I think I'd like that.""I would too" Bezil added, somewhat eager to get to know his grandfather more. "Ah, why not? We will too!" Jimmy added, and Matty nodded.

For a moment, Hikaru was wondering if Perry is alright... She's looking so relaxed... if this continues she probably going to be nodding off sometimes soon. The chill might be hurting her bones, but to be honest? It looked like she's ready to have a nap.... and that's a bit dangerous. Thankfully they moved to the house where the warmth is guaranteed.
"...What are you doing, Perry? It's a family's home, you can always enter," Jill commented. "Plus it's big enough for all of us. I picked this house with chance of renovation if it's needed,"
"So you expected that this will be a huge house?"
"Something like that. I also equipped it with automatic cleaning robots when designing it. I actually was going to bestow this house to someone else with huge family... and to act as some sort of sample house you see? These parts are more for people who wanted quiet but have a lot of family member you see."
"I see, that's a wise decision... come to think of it, Owen's house is also nearby huh," Hikaru commented.
"That's the idea. I thought maybe if Bezil or someone else have lots of kids too..."
"Ahhh, yeah that makes sense,"
And looks like everyone's going to stay. Who is Hikaru to say no to this? He quickly devolved.
"Well I guess we'll be imposing for a bit~"
"I'll help with the cooking if needed," Jill offered.
"I'll check Perry for a bit, mostly to warm her up," Haku said. "We're definitely staying though!"
