It wasn't until now that Hawkeye took note of the strange feeling that he had in his chest. This feeling only started when... well, when he saw the Trailmon that was carrying Kaya roll away. It wasn't that he... missed her, did he? No, that couldn't be the case; she was just a normal human, not a Tamer. Besides, Hawkeye felt that he worked better alone.
Still doesn't get rid of his strange feeling though, does it?
The sheep-like Digimon Skadi had actually gone up to Hawkeye and asked if he was alright. In response, Hawkeye simply looked away from her. "I'm fine. Why wouldn't I be?"
After Hawkeye had explained how his attacks and abilities work, he received quite a bit of praise from Kenny, which made him blush a tiny bit, though you'd have to be really looking closely to notice it. "Why thank you... Kenny, correct? And do not worry, I know now you weren't trying to be offensive."
The Hawkmon noted how good the handshake with the Gumdramon was. The kid had a surprisingly strong grip to him and it caught Hawkeye off guard a tiny bit. Surely this child must be much stronger than he looks. A warrior, maybe? A soldier? Whatever it may be, Hawkeye definitely had a good feeling about Bezil.
When Hawkeye said he wanted to look for food and supplies, Bezil took the group over to the food court of the mall. Immediately Hawkeye was disappointed. "When I said I wanted to purchase food, I was more on the lines of food you take on journeys with you... although the smell of this place is impossible to ignore."
The archer Hawkmon went off to see what he wanted to eat for the time being. He then returned to the table with a giant red blush on his face and a mountain of food on his plate. It seemed that he couldn't decide what he wanted to eat, so he just grabbed one of everything.

Ramona's explanation had managed to interest the bronze-furred Renamon, but she did raise a good point about what being a doctor entailed. Did being a doctor mean that they weren't allowed to hurt anyone? The Kabuterimon put a hand to her chin, and thought for a moment, before, finally, she said, "You make a good point, lady. But I mustn't have myself clear: when you're a doctor, you are under oath to do no harm to your patents. But that doesn't mean you must leave yourself completely defenceless, either. If you have to fight to save yourself - or others, for that matter, then so be it. I'm not letting others lose their lives just because I'm under oath not to hurt anyone."
The Renamon then looked back as Ramona pointed back at the slowly shrinking group, before properly introducing herself as Miko. "Heh, about time you introduced yourself. Otherwise I would've just kept calling you 'lady', lady." She replied, "But it's OK. I'm not one to judge others. We should really get to know each other better, because I've actually grown to like you, y'know."
She continued, "Lemme give you some advice, Miko. When you get to the human world, you'll wanna steer clear of DATS. If they catch you, they'll send you, and possibly your friends, back to the Digital World without a second thought. I'd keep my head down for now until this all clears up, if I were you. Find friends in safe places, and probably pack a holosuit, while you're at it." Ramona warned Miko. "Personally, if I was DATS, I'd let you go on your merry way."
A quick pause, "Of course, if you need any help with that, do give me a call."
While Skadi certainly had some embarrassing antics to her name, she still had quite the soft side, but as she tried to comfort Hawkeye, he turned away, insisting he was fine. He certainly did not look fine to her. She still had quite the sympathetic look on her face, "You still look a little upset." She pointed out to him.
Luckily for Kenny himself, Hawkeye had really seemed to forgive him proper, thanking him and reassuring him that he knew he wasn't trying to offend anyone. Mentally, Kenny felt his inner self breathe a huge sigh of relief. After all, back in Australia, some of the people there weren't so forgiving for his mistakes, "Thanks, Hawkeye. It's just a little hard to adjust on what to do when you suddenly get thrust into something new and unique, and without warning, to boot." He joked.
Bezil really seemed to like the sound of Kenny's dad too, also hoping to meet him someday. Kenny could only chuckle happily upon hearing that, "Admittedly, maybe I bring my dad over someday. We could arrange something, and we could really learn a lot from each other, too." Skadi uttering about how amazing KIZNA was got Bezil's attention too, with him remarking that he hoped to join someday too.
This quickly got the gears turning in Skadi's mind. "I'm just hoping we get to join KIZNA someday too! Then we can go on a lot of adventures, protect the Digital World, and fight bad guys together." She pumped her fists excitedly. She had always gone on length about how she wanted to protect the Digital World, and become a great hero, and KIZNA might be a good gateway to make good on that promise.
At the food court, Kenny felt his mouth water as Bezil introduced the group there, and so did Skadi. As Bezil explained, Kenny quickly remembered something, "Uh, Skadi... I don't have any money on me. Not Digital World money, anyway." But Skadi only smiled knowingly, and pulled out some bits, enough to buy Kenny some food, handing them to her hapless tamer.
"No worries, pal!" She grinned at him, "I gotcha covered! Saved quite a bit up from my past life, and my time at the Village of Beginnings. Always good to keep some spare change in hand." She winked at him. Kenny leaned down, and ruffled his partner's hair very affectionately, while she giggled.
"Thanks, Skadi." He told her. As he got up, Skadi recomposed herself and gave him the thumbs up sign, before splitting up quickly to get food. Kenny went to the hamburger stall, and ordered himself a chicken burger with chips, while Skadi ordered vegetarian pasta from the pasta stall, before going over to Bezil's table. Bezil seemed to order pretty small, which was pretty surprising, as according to Adrian, Digimon could eat a lot, but his eyes widened at Hawkeye's dish: how he could afford all that was a mystery, even to Skadi too. That had to hurt the wallet.
Still, Kenny had to break the ice somehow, so he spoke up, "So, uh, what's life in the Digital World like for you guys exactly?" He asked, while Skadi nodded. She felt for him this was the best way to learn about Digimon more; about the way many of them lived.

Bezil blushed a bit when he realized he had misinterpreted Hawkeye's request. "Ah... right, if you want a place like that then you'd best look inside the Trailmon Terminal." the Gumdramon said, sheepishly, scratching the back of his head. "As far as I know, living in Terminus, it's all about the "now" for the most part, and the mall doesn't really do much to equip travellers outside of things like technology. But the shops on the outskirts and the station shops are the places to go for supplies like that."
Following that, Bezil turned back to Kenny, then realized with a sense of curiosity that the way he spoke was rather familiar. Namely that his accent was similar to his own, and his father Owen's as well. The Gumdramon found that intriguing.
"So, uh, sorry if this seems sudden, but, I couldn't help but notice that you talk similar to how I do." Bezil said. "And it's interesting because most humans talk differently, but, you're the first I've met that talks like how me and my dad speak. Are you from a different place to most of the other humans here?"
He then turned to Skadi, and smiled at her ideals on what it would be like to be part of KIZNA. "Heh, yeah! I bet once we join up we'll kick some evil butt together!" he said, excitedly.
After they got their food, Kenny asked what life was like in the digital world for them. Bezil paused for a moment before answering, going over his experiences. Yeah, it could be very dangerous, as he had experienced in the Backup Bayou and the Sunken Elysium. But his life in Rosewood? He wouldn't trade that for anything.
"I'll put it this way, there's safe and not so safe areas in the digital world." the Gumdramon stated, after taking a bite of one of his sushi rolls. While not as big a meal that was standard for a digimon, Bezil liked to only eat what was necessary so that he'd be better suited for long expeditions.
"My advice? Stick to the Trailmon tracks. They only go where they feel is safe. If you find a place where they don't go, then don't go either until you can evolve to Ultimate. Or Champion if you go with others."

So it turned out that Miko had kind of...taken the oath too literally. Those under Ramona's care were safe whereas those who were not were not protected under this oath. Regardless, she shook her head. "Oh, no, I'm...No lady. Really, just call me Miko. I like you too, though! You appear to be a good-hearted person." The Renamon stated, before punctuating that with a nod.
Her ears, however, perked up at the mention of DATS. Who...were those? An ultimately foreign entity to Miko. Much like a holosuit. Though, she didn't want to ask what that was--that was probably a disguise...where she go to get one of those? Hm. "A call on...what? And where should I go grab a holosuit...?"

Skadi was persistent and was still pestering Hawkeye about he apparently looked upset. He certainly didn't feel upset... did he? What reason could he have to be upset in the first place? The human girl Kaya was home, and not in the Digital World with Hawkeye, who did indeed feel happy with her around... oh god, please don't tell him that he actually misses Kaya. Her place was the human world, not here.
And Hawkeye's place was at his village, and not in the human world. He can't possibly be missing her. Hawkeye started to breathe through his nose more audibly, implying that Skadi was beginning to light a bomb. "I said that I am fine, Skadi. Please do not bother me about this anymore."
Kenny had brought up something about bringing his father into the Digital World one day. Hawkeye immediately tensed up and looked right at him. "Not a good idea, Kenny. Humans don't necessarily belong here, and humans without a partner Digimon ESPECIALLY do not belong. You're just going to get him killed."
The Hawkmon noticed the two of them talking about something called KIZNA on their walk, and Hawkeye was too curious to let it go by so quickly. "What exactly is a KIZNA?"
The Gumdramon also brought up a good point: he and Kenny were both speaking in that strange tone of voice, as if they were both from the same place, which was obviously impossible. Wasn't his place to add onto anything, however.
It was a walk of shame for Hawkeye when he arrived at the table with all that food on his face. The blush was very apparent on his face. "I never tried any of these before, and I couldn't decide what I wanted..." he said with a sad tone in his voice.

Ramona felt something quite fuzzy build insider her soul as the Renamon, introducing herself as Miko, had complimented her as a good person. Unbeknown to everyone except herself, she was dealing with heavy self loathing for essentially forcing Nikolay to sacrifice himself to save her, and to this very day, was still blaming herself for that. She smiled the best smile the average Kabuterimon could potentially pull off, "It's nothing, Miko. I figured the kids back there could all take care of themselves for now. If anything, I should be thanking you for letting me actually do something rather than just sit around and look pretty." She quipped.
So it seemed that Miko had gotten lost on what Ramona was talking about, "Ah, yes. Mind if we stopped here for a second?" She said, halting herself and letting go of the Renamon's hand, before turning to her, "So, normally, you can pick up your very own holosuit at Terminus Mall. However, I know a fair few shops near the Trailmon Terminal that sells one. Trust me, you'll need it. I'm pretty sure a human adult-sized talking fox wandering around Shibuya, even of the Rookie level, would raise quite a few eyebrows, although not as much as a giant flying, electric shooting bug, but I digress."
But there was a pressing hurdle Miko needed to clear first, "Do you have any bits on you Miko?" She said, as she crossed her four arms, "They usually go for around 2,000 a pop. I got by by sneaking around in my tiny Wormmon form at night. I'd don't think you'd be so lucky. You'd stick out like a sore thumb, unless you go to the annual Shibuya Halloween party, and I am more than sure you are not willing to sit and wait until October comes around to go."
Of all things considered so far, Kenny's first few wild Digimon he met in the Digital World were going pretty swimmingly. Bezil was a really nice fellow, open to newcomers, while Hawkeye was quite the aloof figure with something troubling him. While he insisted to Skadi that he was indeed fine, his body language and behaviour practically screamed 'I'm not fine!' Still, she kept silent, not wanting to bother Hawkeye further, lest he lash out, and she just stepped away.
Likewise, Hawkeye up and shot down (no pun intended) Kenny's suggestion on bringing his dad over, saying humans did not belong here, especially ones without a Digimon. Kenny just put his pockets and sighed sadly, but Skadi had piped up in his defence. "No he won't, Hawkeye! Because I'm going to be a great hero, and I will make sure he and his dad remains perfectly unharmed!" She still had a bit of lingering doubt after the Arkadimon fight, but she was fighting to push it back into her mind.
But Bezil had brought up something interesting, asking about Kenny's accent and where he came from, "Well, yeah, actually. I came from Australia. I moved to Japan a while ago because of my dad's job. He's gotten me a job himself to help me while I work on getting into Tokyo University to continue my studies. But my accent came more from my mum. My dad was born in Ireland and moved to Australia when he was of age. I'll tell you a bit more when we got to eat."
Kenny had to admit, the chicken burger was actually pretty nice. But did they really cultivate chickens in the Digital World? Skadi really didn't seem to make so much of a fuss about what she ate, but mainly because she came from here. Still, he couldn't take his mind about how he felt, as he glanced subtly to his partner. The first night home, she felt enamoured in her new home, loving to try the new human food. And now here he was, in a similar position to his partner.
While he ate, Bezil told him a brief explanation of the Digital World, being safe and unsafe areas, and recommended he stick to Trailmon's until it was safe. "Funny you should say that. Ramona's basically my escort here. She's not actually my partner, but she offered to help the both of us, and even convinced our dad to let us watch over us whenever we went to the Digital World." He told Bezil, "Although, I think she figured that we were in safe hands. I mean, you're the son of a solider and that KIZNA leader. If by some crazy chance anything did go wrong today, I think you'd be great at dealing with it!" Skadi nodded enthusiastically, agreeing with her partner.
"Yeah!" Skadi added, "Hey, if there's any opening for KIZNA, do let us know, OK?"
But Skadi could not stop eyeing the mountain of food on Hawkeye's plate. Even for how much a Digimon could usually eat, even she would get sick from eating all that. Hawkeye explained briefly that he couldn't really decide on what to have because he never really tried them before, but Skadi wasn't buying it, "Then how could you afford all that, anyways?" She asked him. That had to cut deep into his wallet.

What Hawkeye said about Kenny's father not belonging in the digital world, and the effect it had on Kenny and Skadi was something that annoyed Bezil. So much so that he couldn't keep silent on it.
"Listen, mate, show a little more respect when you're talking about other people's parents." he said in a brisk voice, frowning for a moment. Then he looked surprised that he had lost his temper so easily. Ordinarily he'd have given more warning than that, but this Hawkmon had been acting kinda rude around them for a while now, and Bezil felt the need to establish some ground rules if Hawkeye still wanted to hang out with them.
Bezil pondered explaining about KIZNA, but decided instead to focus on Kenny and Skadi, especially when Kenny answered his question about how they talked similarly.
"Ah, okay, so this is an "Australian" accent is it?" Bezil asked, interested. He chuckled a little. "Funny how me and my dad have it too, even if I've never heard of Australia. Although... dad told me that he came from an old civilization in the digital world called the "DWR", simply 'Digital World Republic'. Maybe he got it from there, so then I'd get it from him?" it was an interesting thought to the Gumdramon at least.
As they had a little more to eat, Bezil looked forward to learning more about this place called "Ireland" too. He had heard from humans in Rosewood that there were many countries in their world, each with different languages, cultures and histories. He thought it'd be neat to learn about them. As his father Owen had told him, the digital world was somewhat... "ill-suited" to support the existence of such a structure in a similar way.
After finishing a sushi roll, Bezil beamed at Kenny for his praise. "Heh, thanks! Both my parents taught me a lot about combat, and I've learned stuff from both of them. Owen taught me the principles of melee combat, while Hikaru taught me the special ice techniques that he knows. Pardon me for bragging, but, combine that with the fire techniques I get from being a dragon, and yep, I sure can help keep you guys safe from bandits and outlaws."
So, Ramona was their hired help? Bezil had considered hiring a travelling buddy for himself, but, thought that making genuine friendships with travelling partners was a more healthy way of going about it. Still, he understood why they would need a mercenary if this was their first visit to the digital world and didn't know about it as much as he had learned.
In the end, Bezil decided to eventually answer Hawkeye's question about KIZNA, while at the same time answering Skadi. "Sure thing, I'll let you know." he said, then turned to the Hawkmon. "Basically, KIZNA's a guild based in the Shining Sea. Our aim is to learn about the past of the digital world through archaeological expeditions, while at the same time keeping the peace. Especially in maintaining good relations between humans and digimon."
Following that, Bezil began to bite into his second sushi roll, appreciating the sweet chilli sauce within that he had not anticipated.

"They did seem quite capable of that at a glance..." Granted, Miko felt an air of...disgruntlement somewhere in that group when she had taken that single glance from here. Plus...She didn't have much knowledge of what Ramona felt towards herself. As in, she knew nothing of it. "Of course, now you can move around and look fierce." The fox added with a smile.
The fox then paused to stare straight up at the Kabuterimon. Well, they don't really have eyes, so Miko wasn't quite able to look Ramona in the eye. She nodded a few times. "I have some saved up. They're found at the...mall, you said? I think I passed by it--impossibly large looking shop? With many more shops within?" Miko paused.
"...What the heck's a 'Halloween?'"
At least she seemed to understand the holosuit talk...

Hawkeye appreciated that Skadi dropped the subject after he explicitly said no multiple times. He could've been a bit nicer about it but Skadi was pushing all of his buttons at the moment so it took a bit of restraint on Hawkeye's part to not lash out. That would not have ended well.
Then the subject of Kenny bringing his father to the Digital World came up. Hawkeye could not stand for that, and he made that fact very clear. He was met with resistance by both Skadi and Bezil, the former being denial and saying that bad things would definitely not happen, and Bezil actually getting mad at Hawkeye. The bird crossed his arms and explained his side of the story.
"I'm sorry if I am making you upset, but I am speaking from personal experience. Humans in the Digital World is a bad idea. No matter how much you say you're going to protect them, there… there will be a day where you're not there for them. You'll be a second too late to save them. And they'lll get killed… Please at least consider what I'm trying to say."
Hawkeye began to have tears run down his eyes. Well well... looks like Skadi managed to find a way to break through after all.
Hawkeye listened in on Kenny and Bezil's conversation. Apparently Kenny came from a human world civilization called "Australia". It was such a foreign word to the bird archer. As much as he hated the idea of humans going to the Digital World and vice versa, learning about different areas of their world was most appealing. "What other civilizations are there on your planet?" he asked Kenny.
At the food court Hawkeye picked up a piece of takoyaki from his food mountain and took a small bite. It was going to take quite a while to finish this, if he was gonna be able to in the first place. Skadi asked how Hawkeye could afford it. "Simple. I've been saving money for years."
Bezil answered Hawkeye's question and explained what KIZNA was about, learn about the past of the DW while keeping the peace at the same time. "Huh. Interesting…"

Ramona just smirked at Miko's comment about looking fierce. And frankly, she couldn't blame her. The Kabuterimon family were well known for looking fierce, and Ramona had a pretty good response to that, "At least if worse comes to worse, I can scare off your potential attackers."
Having stopped in place, Miko told her that she did have some saved up, and inquired if she could find a holosuit there. "You mean, the Terminus Mall?" She answered, "But, correction, they can't be brought just from the mall. There's some stores outside there that sell a holosuit. Actually," She caught a glance at a smaller shop nearby from where they stood, advertising holosuits as one of their many technological wares. She pointed a finger at the shop, "I think I can see one right now."
But before they could set off again, Miko had asked what Halloween was. Ramona smiled slightly, her studies of the human world was going to be put to good use, "Well, in Japan, the humans there like to dress up and hold wild parties. And I mean wild. Their costumes are wild, the humans are wild, it's all crazy. If I'm correct, we'd blend in perfectly. But like I said, we're not sitting around and waiting til October. Your best bet for survival is a good holosuit... unless you have any skills that can help you blend in, perhaps slink around in the shadows."
What the hell was Hawkeye's problem today? First, he was showing visible signs of frustration at Skadi trying to help him, then, even when Bezil was calling him out for his behaviour, he remained adamant, claiming that was just going to up and leave them, and end up with them getting killed. Skadi could feel her eye twitch in anger, being unfairly dismissed like that, and even Kenny's patience was wearing thin with him, at first, but it cooled a bit when they noticed Hawkeye starting to cry. They didn't know what to say to that, so they just decided to stay mum.
As they walked along, as Hawkeye asked about the other civilisations on earth, all Kenny could get out was, "There's a lot of other civilisations on Earth, far too much to count."
Although, Kenny did also chuckle at Bezil mentioning he did lift his own accent from his dad, even though neither Digimon came from Australia. It was quite amusing.
During lunch, Bezil had told them his dads had taught him a series of techniques, in both physical combat and ice techniques, which he could easily combo with his fire attacks. Skadi grinned and nudged Kenny, while the young tamer indeed did look amazed from hearing that, "Wait, you can use both fire and ice attacks?" He exclaimed, while Skadi nodded at him, "That's so cool! I never even thought that was even possible to do so in the first place. I bet your dads are really proud of you, Bezil." He complimented the Gumdramon. Unbeknown to everyone, Kenny could easily here his inner monster loving young kid him squealing in joy. He didn't mind.
Hawkeye, meanwhile, had answered that he saved up enough money to buy all those food, which only raised more questions than it answered, "Such a waste to squander it on all that food, then." Skadi replied, giving the Hawkmon a sceptical look on that,.
Bezil then explained about what KIZNA was to Hawkeye, and what they did, while Kenny and Skadi keenly listened. It sounded like an exciting prospect. If anything, Kenny, as a kid, would often go wandering off without warning because he got curious, much to his dad's fears, and he did like exploring, and working to maintain human/Digimon relationships sounded really good too, "Wow, KIZNA sounds really good, now that you mention it. No wonder people really seem to respect them." Kenny grinned.
But Skadi had to speak up again, after going through a few bites of her pasta, "Hey, Bezil! What does it take to get someone like us to join KIZNA, anyway?" She popped the question to Bezil. If anything, joining KIZNA sounded like an excited prospect, something that Skadi would happily relish the best to her ability.

Soft accordion sound slowly played from another table. Another Hawkmon is playing it while his partner just reading a book. On their table are assortment of snacks, mostly Japanese. The human seem to be disinterested, but there is a glint of annoyance in his eyes as his reading time got a bit interrupted.
"Well aren't this Bez-bou... having some friction with people, lad?" the Hawkmon greeted at Bezil with a small salute. "Hello there, sorry that I butted in at a strange time, but I saw my nephew... well, something like a nephew I guess, among you. What uncle would I be to not greet him? Ah, pardon, where's my manner... Agito is my name. Pleasure to meet you."
It was awkward, but it was Agito's way of trying to make the tension lower. "It was a misunderstanding I see? It's prudent to be careful with your wording however, mate. Ever since Neo-DATS fiasco, there are problems regarding anti-human sentiment. If you have no idea, apparently there are some people who completely against human, so far that they're trying to drives human away from cities. Of course they're minorities, but voices of minorities are still voices... and it have chance to get louder. Opposition obviously exist, and if opposition thinks you belong to the former, that would be dangerous...
As for you young man" he looked at Kenny and smiled slightly "While he does have a point of bringing non-chosen human... I believe you're the type that prefer cities as place to introduce your father to, right? Terminus is very safe, lad... and so is Whitewater. Rosewood, I believe is also great place to start. Introducing your parents to your interests and second life is something I find very praiseworthy. Don't you feel so, Waka?"
"Don't call me Waka in here... geez... Well at least it's better than Tono..." his partner commented.

As Hawkeye apologized, Bezil's face relaxed a little. It seemed like he was speaking from genuine fear of humans getting harmed in the digital world, especially when he teared up a little. "Hey... I take it that something bad has happened to humans in your experience, but, I really doubt that Kenny wants to bring his dad into any dangerous situation..." the Gumdramon answered. He chose not to prise any further with that for now.
Bezil beamed at the praise from Kenny. "Yeah, guess I can. It's pretty nifty, can come as a nasty shock to those that don't expect it. Strong against fire, but weak against ice, heh, I got their number if they try to do bad~."
Bezil almost wagged his tail at the bet that both his parents were proud of him, but since Bezil wagging his hammer-tail could cause a small disaster, he held it in place for the moment.
After Bezil explained about KIZNA, Kenny remarked that it sounded really good, and then Skadi asked what it would take for someone to join. On this question, the Gumdramon was a little stumped. "Uhh... I think... some test, maybe...?" he began, then they were joined by another individual.
And this individual was a friend known to Bezil, someone he had met in Ys at his parents' wedding. "O-oh! Agito-chan! Hiya!" Bezil said, cheerfully. The Gumdramon wasn't all that sure of honorifics when talking in Japanese, but given that when speaking in English he was encouraged to call others "mate" unless corrected, he thought the same about calling others "-chan" unless corrected.
Then Agito told them that he was only concerned about a possible misconception about the bad faction of digimon that wanted to remove all humans from the digital world, one way or the other. Bezil then realized how serious such talk was in public.
And speaking of in public, Koutarou was there too. Bezil hadn't spoken to him before, but he knew of him. "Ah, heya, nice to see you here!" he said politely, bowing his head. "Speaking of which, perfect timing. My friends Kenny and Skadi here were just asking about what it takes to become a member of KIZNA. I'm hoping to follow Papa Hikaru in joining too, but, I don't think I know the specifics. Could you please tell us what's involved?"

"Hey, hey, you don't need to go that far for someone like me!" Miko retorted with a snicker. If there was anything Ramona was succeeding at, it was calming the nerves of the otherwise anxious fox. So a holosuit could come from outside of that big mall? The Renamon glanced towards the shop up ahead that Ramona had pointed out.
Huh, it...certainly looked far less extravagant than she had expected it to, really. She remained behind solely to listen to the Kabuterimon's explanation about the human world. It sounded far-fetched as heck from how little she truly knew of humans...But it did raise a good question...
"Should I go buy a holosuit right now, then?"

Post by Kaya Matsui and Hawkeye on Jul 23, 2019 17:24:30 GMT
The tearing up didn't last long as Hawkeye wiped away the tears and just continued on as if everything was normal. He didn't want to be attached to anyone else, and he also didn't want Kenny to potentially lose his father. It was a bit harsh, but that's how reality is: harsh, and you just have to accept in, in Hawkeye's view.
Bezil spoke to Hawkeye about the situation. He said that he doubted that Kenny wanted to bring his father into dangerous situations. "Sometimes you don't go to dangerous situations. A lot of the time, it's the reverse: they come to you. It's why I try to not get attached to anyone else."
When Hawkeye asked Kenny about Earth's civilizations, Kenny simply responded that there were far too many to count. "Are all these civilizations like Australia? Or are they all different from each other?" He knew some things about Earth, but not too much...
As Hawkeye was trying to figure out where to start from his unfortunate food mountain, he could hear something akin to an accordian being played from another table. He looked up to see another Hawkmon playing the accordian, and with a human partner too. For a second he thought he was seeing himself and... and Yuuto. Upon another inspection he just saw them as a random human and Hawkmon. But still...
The other Hawkmon came up and tried to defuse the situation as best as he could, explaining how Neo-DATS had essentially made human hate grow within the Digital World. Hawkeye didn't HATE humans, but he felt they were in most danger in the Digital World. And if his suspicions were true, Digimon weren't safe on Earth either. "What is Neo-DATS?"
The Hawkmon, revealed to be named Agito, slightly annoyed Hawkeye, but he wasn't going to let it show. Didn't need to make unnecessary enemies at the moment. The bird archer simply got out of his seat and extended a wing towards Agito. "My name is Hawkeye. A pleasure to meet you."

There was a sense of camaraderie that came from both Miko and Ramona's interactions. Despite their different walks of life, Miko was growing onto the Kabuterimon, in more ways than one. Her mind reminded her to try and keep in touch with her, especially after the inevitable send off into the human world. But she had to save it for later. For now, she had to tackle the Renamon's question; should she pick up a holosuit right now? She paused for
"Yes. Yes we should." She nodded to Miko, "Like I said, I like you, Miko, and I don't want you to get hurt. Besides, I know that store may not look like anything to write home about, but, hey, can't argue with results." Once again, she would try and grab the Renamon's paw once again, still just tight enough to make sure she wouldn't shake loose, but this time, it wouldn't be as tight, rather, it would be a lot more softer. And she wouldn't start walking until the Renamon did.
While walking over to the store, Ramona figured it would be good to kill some time as they walked, "So, Miko, pray tell, what do you exactly want for your holosuit, anyways? No worries, lady, I'm not one to judge." She was genuinely curious to see what the Renamon wanted to go as. She figured she would choose something nice and sweet, like Miko's personality herself.
It was a good thing Bezil managed to defuse the situation for Kenny, otherwise, things would've gotten pretty messy. He definitely owed him a favour for that. As for Hawkeye's question, Kenny just answered, "Civilisations around the can be very varied. Let's just leave it at that, or we'd be here all day."
Like with Miko with Ramona, Kenny and Skadi had really grown to like this Gumdramon as well. He seemed strong and versatile, with a dorky-cute streak towards him (which was definitely a huge plus to him), if his behaviour was anything to go by. Sadly, he didn't really seem to know much about how to actually enter KIZNA himself. It was a good thing, however, that at this point, sweet accordion music hit their ears, and that was when another Hawkmon dropped by their table. By this time, Kenny had finished his hamburger, and was now moving onto the chips. Introducing himself as Agito, Kenny and Skadi smiled at that Hawkmon's politeness; he seemed liked a pleasant fella.
"Oh, hi there. Nice to meet you too. The name's Kenny, and that's my partner, Skadi." He told the new emerging Hawkmon not at the table. Skadi, after getting through her next bite, of course (she was already halfway done), waved at the Hawkmon happily.
"Hey there, buddy!" She added.
After the introductions were done and dusted, Agito would calmly tell off Hawkeye, warning him about how his behaviour would get in trouble from a potential opposition, before talking to Kenny. His polite disposition was slowly but surely currying favour with the young man fast, suggesting places to introduce him to, and complimenting his actions. While the bit with 'Waka' did make Kenny and Skadi chuckle a bit, Kenny would answer him fairly quickly, "Hey, thanks man. But can you tell me a bit about Whitewater and Rosewood? They sound pretty interesting all things considered." He asked the Hawkmon. These places did sound pretty interesting to go to, all things considered.
Then Bezil tried to talk with the human that had accompanied Hawkmon. While he did ask 'Waka' about how to join KIZNA proper, the fact that Kenny and Skadi were called his 'friends' was pretty noteworthy to them. Skadi felt a little giddy inside and grinned upon hearing that, while Kenny blushed a bit, but smiled. He couldn't believe that what should've been, by all means, a random stranger, considered them their friends.
Never he thought that in a million years, he'd quickly become friends with a tiny fluffy dragon.
