Ophelia would have to rock to the side a little, in order to be free from being sandwiched from the two digimon and to spare Kitt from becoming a pancake - Cassie laughing as she'd tumble off into the snow adjacent to the both of them. Unable to be mad at Cassie for long, Ophelia couldn't help but laugh with - though would still pull the Gomamon-X for a brief noogie, stating "We weren't wrestling, ya goof; we were snuggling!" "Pftehehehe - Uncle, uncle!" Cassie would laugh - managing to squirm out of Ophelia's headlock to instead flop atop her sister. "Sorry, I thought you two were just having fun wrestling about, with how Kitt was lifting you up before you two tumbled down!" She'd chirp - giggling sheepishly.
"Well, I don't think I'm the only one you need to be apologizing to;" Ophelia remarked with an amused smile - reaching over to poke Kitt's cheek. "Ay, Kitt, bro - you alright there?" Cassie would glance over to Kitt, blinking a bit as she noted his visibly dazed state - before she'd giggle. "I think I know what'll bring him back!" She'd chirp, and would take the time to blow a single bubble; the bubble in question being filled with a faintly glowing water. Once the bubble was formed, she would bounce it upwards into the air off of her head - Ophelia and Laertes backing up as she did...
... for the bubble to fall downwards upon Kitt, bursting into a splash of water on contact! The beneficial waters that were contained in the bubble didn't behave entirely like normal water, though; instead being absorbed on contact as it mended any bruises or scrapes that he might've gotten over the course of the day, with any excess water quickly evaporating and likely leaving him feeling quite refreshed and spry. It'd probably still be quite the surprise to get a facefull of this water, though!
Once it was all finished with however, Cassie would grin widely to Kitt - asking "How are you feeling? I'm sorry about squishing you, and about surprising you like that - but the water felt nice, right?"
"Assuming you didn't give him a heart attack, splashing him like that." Ophelia would chuckle, plopping down next to Kitt.

Kitt suddenly gasped and looked around blindly, confused. A second ago he felt like a pin cushion devoid of any air, like he was crushed under a bed, now he was good as new — strength and everything. He was soaked in water from head to shoulders, only for it to quickly evaporate.
Slowly he breathed, through his nose and out of his mouth, slowly making sense of everything. He turned to Cassie, apologized for squishing him, in which Kitt let out a light chuckle.
"It's alright." Kitt shake his head to get ride of any excess dampness in his hair. "I was trying to get back at big sis from when she made me collide head first into a tree when we first met by giving a taste of her own medicine. But I guess I'm far from that, I suppose."
He then plopped on the ground, with Ophelia following suit, letting the night breeze waft over him, bringing with it tantalizing scent from whatever food that Ophelia's mom was still cooking. The overcast and snow from earlier had all but dissipated for the night, the stars casting their light down onto them like a hundred fireflies. Warm, familiar scents from the fire made Kitt's spine tingle with a forgotten memory. Unbeknownst to Ophelia and the rest, Kitt was from this religion of the Digital World.
When he was a Wanyamon, he used to wish upon shooting stars. He'd sat on the rooftop of the orphanage he stayed in those cold, snowy nights and he'd gazed at every one of them, closing his eyes, scrunching his nose, hoping that a family would adopt him. He eventually found out the hard way through his caretaker that shooting stars weren't even stars at all, just pieces of galactic garbage burning through the sky, so he stopped wishing.
Though it seemed however, that all that wishing came true— two times in fact.
"I used to star gaze all the time when I was a Baby Digimon," Kitt commented, breaking the silence. "Really it was one of the only things I could enjoy back when I was raised. At first, I couldn't see anything due to the area I lived in having really low clouds that were almost like a mist. But I got crafty, and used any material I could find laying around town to make a makeshift ladder made out of rope. Had to use my mouth to even climb up to the roof since I don't have any arms in my baby form. After I got up there, I just sat and looked at the stars, sometimes the Northern Light even showing up from time to time."
He sighed. "I wish back then I had friends to enjoy them with, but nobody wanted to socialize with me..."

Ophelia blinked briefly as Kitt explained himself - the younger Spadamon recounting how the both of them had first met, with him having hit his head on a tree after Ophelia had gotten just a bit too boisterous and had pounced on him, sending them tumbling! This would elicit a brief, sheepish chuckle out of Ophelia, grinning lopsidedly as she reached over to ruffle his mane. "You're a dork," She'd playfully tease - adding "Like I said before, though; put on a bit of weight, and get in some practice, and I'm sure you'd be able to get me next time! And if I'm honest, I'm damn well looking forward to that next time, Kitt!" She'd turn the mane ruffling into a very brief noogie - the two sisters both giggling happily all the while.
As Kitt plopped down in the snow, though, Ophelia and Cassie would both happily snuggle up to him - Ophelia wrapping an arm around him, as Cassie flopped across their laps. Laertes, similarly, would watch them for a second - before quietly settling at the other side of Kitt; not being quite as cuddly as the duo, but still close enough to imply that he was becoming quite comfortable with Kitt's presence. Over towards the fire, Gertrude seemed to be the last to eat - idly chowing down on a few skewers like they were nothing, as Callus sat with her - a hand gently stroking over her knee in a small, affectionate gesture.
And the sky above, it was clear and open; the stars and moon shining down upon the glittering snow of the mountainside. In these parts of the mountains, it was usually consistently overcast and foggy, but... It was rare moments like these, where the sky would clear up - allowing for the family to enjoy the sky above; be it sunshine, nighttime, or even sunrise or sunset. Ophelia, personally, enjoyed the night sky; trying to count out all the different stars in the sky, trying to make up her own constellations with Cassie and Laertes...
... And it seemed that Kitt, too, had a deep appreciation for those stars. As Kitt broke the silence, Ophelia would glance to his direction - listening to him recount how he'd gaze up to the stars, as a child. How he'd climb up just to see them each night, even as an in-training; and even getting to see the Northern Lights, sometimes..! The older Spadamon would smile in his direction as Kitt reminisced, though... His sigh would make the smile droop the slightest bit. "You got us now though, don't you?" Cassie would chip, peering up at him and nuzzling him. "Hell yeah!" Ophelia agreed - wrapping her arm around him tighter. "Y'ain't alone anymore!"
"We can watch all the stars we want together, now; right? And if not with us, then maybe with Eris and Loganne?" The older Spadamon would ask, grinning to Kitt. "You can forget about all the bullshit you've dealt with as a kid, and focus on the now and the future you've got!" She exclaimed confidently, her tail swishing with visible eagerness. Laertes would be unable to help a brief chuckle, visibly endeared as he began peering upwards. "You guys are going to miss any shooting stars or northern lights, yapping like that." He'd simply remark with a hint of dry humor.

Kitt blinked and looked to the two sisters, his mouth slightly agape, unable to find any words in his mind to say. To Cassie and Laertes, he was nothing more than a stranger that just happens to know Ophelia. They didn’t know anything about him—who he is, what he'd been through, what he likes, what he dislikes, anything that makes him, him. Throughout the Spadamon's whole life, he was told that he wouldn't amount to nothing, that no one would love him and would be better off not existing. And yet, they treated him like he was part of the family. They treated him like an actual being, like Eris and Logane did when he first met them.
Tears began to well up in his eyes; they flowed freely as he started to sob, trying his best to hold them back, but to no avail. What Ophelia said really tugged on his heartstrings.
"Thank...you..." He managed to say, hugging Ophelia closely. He pushed his face into the older Spadamon's chest and continued to weep. He didn't care about looking at the stars anymore; he only cared about this moment.
It was strange, really. For most of Kitt's life, he wondered why he was left alone in this world. No father is his life. No mother in his life. Whoever they were left his digiegg on the doorsteps of the orphanage in Snowflake Village. Not understanding why his parents abandoned him made him question his own worth for the longest time—to make him question what was so inherently wrong with him, that his own parents decided to leave him behind.
But now, after so long, he finally was able to experience genuine love and compassion from now two families— the idea of people actually having invested interest in his wellbeing simply because they care about you. Now, this was no longer a foreign concept to him.
After several minutes, Kitt eventually tired himself out, slowly falling asleep in Ophelia's arms. Before he got completely knocked out, one thing pressed on his mind:
I guess coming here wasn't so bad after all...

Ophelia, initially, would be surprised as Kitt began to cry; sobbing against her chest, and hugging her closely all the whilst. She, initially, wondered if they had said something wrong - a twinge of uncertainty beginning to briefly nag at her - and yet... He had thanked them, right? So... Maybe he was just a little overwhelmed?
It'd take a second for Ophelia to reciprocate the hug, from a mix of that aforementioned uncertainty and surprise. But, when she did find her wits to react, she would hold him closely - wrapping her arms around him securely. "Of course," She'd murmur against the top of his mane; cradling him close to her body as she began to purr. "You're family to us." This purr would be a low and soothing rumble; the same sort of tone she would use way back when, when Cassie and Laertess were still in-training, to reassure and comfort them during storms or bad dreams.
Cassie and Laertes, too, would take note of Kitt's crying - one of Laertes' ears swiveling in their direction, and Cassie peering up to them. Cassie would be the next to act in the comfort of the emotional Spadamon, snuggling up to him easily - trying her best to imitate Ophelia's purr, though it was clear that she wasn't exactly made to make the same feline noises that Ophi could. She'd still try her hardest to hug Kitt though, whilst snuggled up to the duo. Laertes, next, would take the time to scoot over; reaching out a hand to stroke over Kitt's shoulder in a gesture of comfort and sitting criss-cross right next to Ophelia.
And for that period of time, as the four of them allowed themselves this brief moment of comfort? The siblings wouldn't say a word - simply giving their own displays of unconditional love, of comfort, of kinship, with Kitt. Certainly, Cassie and Laertes didn't know Kitt for the amount of time that Ophelia did, but... If she accepted him of family, if she was so willing to leave her scent on him so that he could smell like family, then they were willing to accept him as family as well.
When Kitt finally would tire out, though, and began to doze off... Callus and Gertrude would both slowly approach; the latter peering to Kitt with a quiet curiosity, leaning in to sniff him, and get a gauge on his scent. "... A soft-hearted cub," She'd murmur as she straightened up; not so much putting Kitt down, but more a simple observation. She could tell that he wasn't wild, like they were; he smelled far too clean, he smelled of digimon that were not native to these mountains. That wasn't even to get started on the clothes he wore; different from the things she usually saw on the rare traveler that'd pass through her territory. His emotions betrayed him easily, she felt; and he was small, almost runtlike. Certainly not a digimon made for the mountains.
But if they accepted him as kin, then she'd accept him as her cub all the same.
"Maybe so; though he has a lot of spirit." Callus responded to Gertrude's observation with a smile; reaching down to carefully lift him up. "It's getting late, kids. Let's retire to the den, yeah?" He'd suggest to the other three siblings - to which they'd nod, yawning amongst themselves. "Pftehehe, you're making me yawn, Lae!" "We're tired, after all; it's been a long day. I will say that Ophelia started it, though." "Well, lets get some shuteye then; and we can all go on some crazy-ass antics tomorrow - Kitt included!" The trio giggled amongst themselves as they followed close to Callus' lead, making their way into the den. Gertrude would be shortly behind; briefly taking the time to put out the fire outside the entrance before she followed them in.
As the family entered the den, though, they would begin to settle into the nest of furs; the siblings nestling themselves in between their parents, and Kitt being nestled amongst them in turn. Ophelia had her arms tightly wrapped around Kitt, Cassie had a flipper slung over him - whilst Laertes' arms were loosely embracing Cassie and Kitt. Callus and Gertrude, in turn, would be cradling the children close to them; Callus' head tilted against Gertrude, whilst she nuzzled him lazily.
Once they were all situated though, they would - one by one - begin to drift off to sleep, as one big family...
