The ExVeemon looked down to WereGarurumon and had only one thing to say in response to what had been a rather honest statement. "FUCK YOU, YOU LEVI'S-WEARING, DATS-SYMPATHIZING SCHMUCK." What a truly profound and interesting being, not as boring as a red scalie at all, no sir. Noooooo. "No, FUCK YOU." A voice belonging to a real insect that had been forgotten about since a few posts ago sounded off at the top of his proverbial lungs. "You two are by far the BIGGEST IDIOTS TO SET FOOT HERE. HOLY CRAP. WHY DID YOU EVEN COME HERE?" "TO SEND A MESSAGE, YOU LITERAL GODDAMN INSECT.""YOUR MESSAGE SUCKS. WHAT EVEN IS IT? 'DATS IS BAD SO WE'RE GONNA BLOW THE GODDAMN SQUARE UP?' GIVE ME A BREAK!" Tentomon, apparently, has the biggest set of lungs on the planet. Seifer found himself caught between this shouting and the champions in the air. The Stingmon? Hah, he had been silent this entire time. The ExVeemon seemed to be the talker of the two despite his...questionable intelligence. Regardless, he had to act. The time had been right, and everything. All broadcasts were jammed (even the cameras, which may prove to be a problem for some...observers,) and evacuations were DONE. "...I guess you can consider this a warning shot." Seifer murmured, quite cryptically as Machine's hand ignited with a purple, flaming mass of 0s and 1s. Digisoul, to the uneducated, before he slammed it onto his Digivice. "We should probably get out of the open. I called for backup some time ago, and they should be...well on their way now." The man uttered. Seifer moved a sign high in the air for cover, before the Hackmon swiftly warp digivolved into...A much larger, and certainly much more draconian monster, Revivemon. While the author of this post is averse to putting so many images in one thread, he will do so one final time for now. A warning shot was what he promised, and a warning shot was what would be delivered. The mouth on Seifer's chest opened to fire a brief ball of golden energy. Not a named move, it appeared, but it sailed harmlessly past the bickering dragon and the bug. "You heard the wolf. Go away, or else more disciplinary measures will need to be applied." ...There was a brief bit of silence from the end of the duo in the sky. It would definitely not last for long. What would WereGarurumon do? Was Panthermon a glorified pussycat? Well, he would be if he just stood there while the others fought for their lives. The time to counterattack against the BlackRapidmon was indeed now, as the armored feline attacked with an attack meant to paralyze. The rabbit looked at the now armor evolved feline and muttered, "Drugs, not even once." Seriously, what even was that? It struck true, yes. Paralyze, however? It did not. Not fully, at least. The power of a Digimental was capable of bringing someone close to a champion level, but it wasn’t a TRUE champion in terms of power. At best? It slowed BlackRapidmon down, but it was more than enough to leave him vulnerable to a combined assault from Eris and Otohime! The missile swarms (if you could call a trio a swarm) both struck their targets as smoke quickly filled the area before being cleared, either by a swift ascent from the BlitzGreymon, or the slide evolution into a GranKuwagamon. The Blackrapidmon was, to his detriment, trying his hand at rushing at Eris (despite the slowing that had been inflicted) which wound up in him being grabbed and launched with the fury of someone spited by a gachapon machine. Also, a metric ton of electricity. Immediately after this, the GranKuwagamon had closed in on the Rapidmon and clamped her jaws around him in a vice grip, the mandibles jabbing right into his charred stomach despite how inhumanly thin it was! Yet, this…put him in what the scorched black Ultimate considered to be a good spot against the beast. “̴̥̜̇͌A̵̩͂͝ṕ̵̨̟ȩ̷͉̀s̴͓͋.̵̙̋ ̴̢̛͠B̵̛̩Ȩ̵̼̋̓A̶͕͙͌͋S̷̻̈́T̸̞̋͝S̴͆͜.̵̳̫̂̀ ̶̥̜͛̅I̴̩̦̾’̴̥̈́͝L̵̺̇͜L̵͆͜ ̶̬͈̓Ḃ̴͍͑Ú̵̥͍R̸̬̞̓N̸̍ͅ ̵̖́̾Y̷̻͠Ö̴̤́Û̶̡ ̷͈̊Å̶̘̠L̶̟̠͘L̶̼̣̒.̷̫͖̒̈́”̴̨̊̀ Blackrapidmon shrieked as he moved to grab the beast by the mandibles, as the air around them began to grow warm, then hot, then SUPER HOT in an instant, before the air around Trigger went KABOOM. As someone at an equal level to Trigger, perhaps this would not hurt Otohime THAT much. Yet, an explosion was nothing to scoff at. He had to deal with her first before he could get to Big Red and the small fry. Meanwhile, with Gummy? His opponent actually snickered. "Y'know what? You're pretty good." Pretty good...As the whirlwind of an attack commenced, the Impmon made an attempt to leap back as they suffered a number of blunt blows from the Gumdramon, before being tossed towards a bench. They had managed to recover enough to anticipate the Fire Vortex, though. "You know, I don't even like these guys that much! I even told them NOT to bring the damn Terriermon!" The Impmon began, "How about you just lemme go and I'll help you deal with Trigger?" before yet another unexpected cut-in occurred. "And why would ANYONE HERE trust you to not just run?" Eight questioned. Question here is, would Gummy actually hear the Impmon out? Or would the fight continue?
So, here's what happens in order. Tentomon attacks ExVeemon and Stingmon with this: Facts and Logic: Tentomon, irate that his future restaurant is at risk, begins brutally thrashing up to two targets with harsh words! Once per thread. Seifer then warp digivolves to Revivemon and fires a basic attack, intentionally missing as a warning shot. MEANWHILE, with BlackRapidmon/Trigger, as Impmon has designated him? He takes EVERY. SINGLE. MOVE. FIRED towards him in the last round of posts. Black Lightning Cannon does not quite paralyze him thanks to level difference, but it does do a nice chunk of damage and slows Trigger enough to be grappled and fired by Eris (with maximum prejudice) into the pavement, before Otohime grabs him with mandibles via Scissor Claw Omega. As he cannot quite do much at the moment thanks to being grappled, he decides to try to grab Otohime by the proverbial horns and attack with... Super Hot Fire: BlackRapidmon is a chaotic, unpredictable mess that’s got an explosive temper. Literally. Every two turns, BlackRapidmon is capable of superheating and detonating the air around him for a hefty™ amount of damage to everything unlucky enough to be around him when he does this. Thankfully it's just a 20 foot radius around him! Meanwhile, Impmon takes a beating! They offer a...truce? Maybe? Does Gummy even trust imps? Eight sure as hell doesn't. ...Also. Machine mentioned that backup was on the way. Turn 3/??

Hahaha! Her attack had succeeded! She had the bunny in her claws! She squeezed it tighter, trying to do some damage! "Hah! Feel the might of -justice-, miscreant!" But, her fortunes were soon reversed. First, her attention was shifted when Hackmon warpdigivolved. And at that very same moment, Trigger decided to detonate the air around them. "Aw fu-" The fire of the explosion did not hurt as much as it could have, but the sheer force of the compressed, exploding air shot the giant beetle away, down to the ground, impacting into the street and leaving a crater. As the smoke and debris cleared, Otohime laid on her back, legs twitching. It took a while before she moved again. Once she did, she jumped back to her many feet, buzzing in anger. "Oh, you just made me mad!" Sparks flared between its buzzing elytrae, as electricity gathered between her mandibles. "Taste sparking justice! Thunderstruck!" The electricity gathered into a lightning bolt, and flew at the BlackRapidmon!
Otohime takes low damage from the fire, but moderate damage from the impact. Otohime uses Thunderstruck: GranKuwagamon produces electricity between its mandibles, shooting a lightning bolt at an enemy.

"YES!" Zachary cheered, glad to see their combine efforts landed a collective hit on the black Rapidmon, called "Trigger" it seemed. Bageeramon had did his part, even though he was not as strong as the others in raw power. Slowing it down, however was still no small feat. However, things got bad after Otohime took action and and struck with a powerful barrage of electric attacks. THings were looking good... until Trigger began to release blasts of fire. " Uh oh... Bagheeramon!" The armored tiger needed no further warning, as the two were psychically linked. The large tiger quickly used his heightened speed to jump back in time, the flames and plasma grazed his whiskers as he got clear, the trigger-happy rabbit going full Rambo on everyone without discrimination. "This is getting ugly fast... huh?" Zachary soon was distracted by the other digimon flying above. THat and the potty-mouth Tentomon angry at them for disturbing the festival. Though torn to finish what he started with the sneaky rabbit... Zachary cringed. " Guys! I'm gonna go help the others with the dragon and insect in the air. Can you handle Bugs Bunny here?" " Zachary, we can't just stop after we--" Panthermon protested, hating to leave a fight mid-way. " If those others start wreaking havoc, we will have much bigger problems. Besides its growing too stronger for us alone. Leave it to them," Zachary urged, and with a nod to the others, he went to join those trying to stop the airborne enemies. Bagheeramon gave a reluctant growl-- but soon took off in a dash towards the other side of the square. Upon reaching the other side of the area, Zachary saw the Ex-Veemon and Stingmon above. Tentomon was pitching a fit... and nearby was the Bearmon he saw, standing nearby. With all the innocent bystanders gone, Zachary was less worried about collateral damage. Zachary approached the Tentomon. " Hey, don't worry. We won't let these guys ruin today anymore than they have." Zachary urged. "Yeah, buzz-buddy!" THe Bearmon said, trying to raise his paws to calm the Tentomon. "You'll short circuit if you dont' calm down. Though while Tentomon was justifiably pissed off, Zachary kept his anger like a simmering flame as he drew out another card, and readied his D-Power. " We will go after that bug up there. Let's rock, Bagheeramon!" The black armored tiger growled as he skidded to a halt before them both. The card flashed in Zachary's fingers as he crossed his arms, then met the two together. A loud flash and cry of energy screamed from the Digivice as he slashed the card through-- depicting the picture of a power up chip with a 'feather' on it. " Digi-Modify! Speed, Activate!!" he cried. A sudden flux and pixilated energy buzzed along Bagheeramon, and not merely as his lightning powers. The data from the card flooded his body, exciting his body even further than before. With that-- the tiger took off like a shot! Before, Bagheeramon was fast. Now, enhanced by the card Zachary used, he was a literal speed Demon that could probably rival "Rinkmon" in speed if not surpass him. The tiger moved in a zig-zag pattern to avoid being hit and as he moved, his body blurred leaving after-images from his high mobility, enough to confuse the enemy. Finally, from the far left side of the battlefield, Bagheeramon jumped into a near by tree-- and lunged high into the air! While not a flying Digimon, the tiger was capable of using his speed to get some form of mobility to lunge at an airborn target. The tiger pounced for the large Stingmon in the air. With a mighty tiger's roar, his front claws crackled with a massive charge of lightning, aimed to slash across the insect Digimon. (OOC Interaction: Bagheeramon jumped cleared of Trigger's assault just in time, his whiskers singed a little bit After which, they learn of the two more enemies to the side. Informing his comrades the change in targets, Zachary and Bagheeramon go to help out. They join alongside Tentomon (and meet the Bearmon there too-- if Guilmon and Dracmon is around, where they go?) . Agreeing to help the bug out, Zachary uses "Light as a Feather" card on Bagheeramon. That and Bagheeramon's speed passive makes him deceptively fast. Using his speed and a leveraged pounce into the air from a nearby tree-- the tiger attempts to use Storm Claw (lightning-base attack) on Stingmon, in hopes to land a passing blow with his jump. Cards Used : 2/5. Light as a feather(speed effect) : 1/3 duration.

"Don't worry about it! I've got the Boom Bunny handled!" Eris called out to the Panthermon pair as her targeting system locked onto the Black Rapidmon. The Blitzmon wincing as the rabbit combusted the air around them launching the bug spirit user across the square like a beetle in a blackpowder cannon. While they'd been hoping to avoid any explosives with the area around the rabbit now charred and broken with torn concrete and glass the likelihood of Eris's next attack doing worse structural damage was slim.
"Sides," They quipped strafing to the left as their Verniers rotated forward, the jets on their back kicking in to stabilize the massive mech dragon for the kickback of the attack to come.
"Turnabout is fair play!" Eris spoke, her words half drowned out by the roar of her cannons as they fired. Launching a sustained stream of burning plasma electricity at the rabbit alongside Otohime's attack, the beam exploding upon contact with it's target.
Eris uses Thunder Verniers! -Thunder Verniers: Rotates the Thunder Verniers on it's back firing out a long range stream of super heated plasma and electricity piercing through shields and exploding upon contact. Cooldown three turns.
Plasma Stake: 1/2 Polarity Pulse: 1/3

Before Gummy could turn the scarf-faced Impmon into a steam piled shish kebab, he halted, stopping just inches away from the Digimon. Burn marks from his attack scorched the pavement with embers still trying to muster themselves to make a fire. The Gumdramon gave the Impmon a hard glare, trying to see whether if his proposition was true, and not just some nonsense in order to save his skin. After giving him a stare down that seemed to last minutes, he turned to the Labramon. "He's telling the truth," he declared. "I could tell by just looking into his eyes." Despite only getting just a warm-up in, Gummy saw no reason in continuing a fight if someone was supposedly order to against their will. He can be an asshole, but at the end of the day, he wasn't heartless. He turned his attention back to Impmon. "But just because I said that doesn't mean we trust you." Before he could say anything else, the battle between the others and the evil Digimon started to escalate: a giant, quadrupedal dragon appeared, and the Black Rapidmon called Trigger was giving Eris and the other Digimon a little run for their money. Gummy wanted to give that Digimon a piece of his mind, but knowing that he can't digivolve without Justice, he was pretty much dead weight. "Alright, Impster, tell us how to deal with Robo-Poodle over there," Gummy demand. "Someone's gotta shut that annoying trap of his. But be warned: try anything funny, and I will personally introduce you to the ground."
... "You're kidding me right?" Justice asked out loud, taking a seat by a nearby crate. Vee filled him in on the situation on what happened at the square after he left, and honestly, he sort of called it. The number of Digimon in one small area would eventually spell trouble. He sighed. "What a pain in the ass... So, Gummy's facing one of them when you left?Vee nodded. "Pretty much. The bad Digimon there are super strong. We can't help the others unless we Digivolve."Justice took another deep sigh, looking up at the rough, pain-stripped ceiling before responding. "Well, what we'll do is go back and get Gummy, then get out of there."
Confusion marred Vee's face. "What?""I mean," Justice spoke again after a long pause where Vee had waited patiently. During the silence, a howling wind started to blow, hammering on the window. "It's unfortunate, but I think you missed the part when that's my problem. Let the others deal with it. They'll make it through with some deus ex machine.""Justice..." Vee's frown deepened. "This isn't like you... so you're telling me you're gonna let these bad Digimon hurt other innocent humans, who have nothing to do with this?""I don't want that but-""But what?" Vee snapped. "Trouble happens; you just have to muddle through." "I don't want to muddle through!" Justice exclaimed getting to his feet in a rush, kicking a spray can. "I didn't want to suddenly be saving the world, and random people from rampant Digimon! I was just about getting through my course! Managing my grades! And suddenly it's do this! Do that! Solve thus! Learn how to be this! Learn how to be that! You're a Digimon Tamer! You've got to save the world and the Digital World! Fuck outta here with that shit!'"Are you saying you wish you hadn't met us?" Vee asked, his expression confused, but he also looked hurt. Justice sat down again. "No." He said firmly, "I would never wish that. You guys are the best thing to ever happen to me since coming here away from my bitch of a mom." He went through his hair with both of his hands, his hand going right back into place. "I just... wish all this bullshit like this hadn't happened on days like holidays; days when we're suppose to celebrate, have fun, all that stuff."
Vee paused for a minute, carefully trying piece together on what to say. It was weird, he was fine with stopping that Dracomon-X at that mall two weeks ago. His mom? What did she have to do with this? He and Gummy didn't know much about Justice's family -- just their names and that's it. Did something happened when he left. Nevertheless, he shook those questions off and continued on the matter at hand. "But still it's like I said," Vee explained, putting a hand on Justice's shoulder. "Bad things happen; you just have to muddle through."
Justice didn't say anything. The little dragon was right. He only got up went around the room a few times, before finally giving Vee an answer. "Ah, mierda..." He turned to the Veemon. " Well come on, Let's go help your grumpy brother and save the day, I guess. Knowing him, he's probably going balls-to-the-wall crazy."Vee gave him a warm smile. He'd knew his Tamer would come through when things became dire. The D-Watch on Justice's wrist started to glow, the device activate as if on cue. The dragon Digimon was suddenly surrounded by orange light. "Veemon, digivolve to... ExVeemon!"Justice climbed aboard Vee's shoulder. Once he was secured, the ExVeemon's body would tense for a split second, before he'd took a trong leap forward as he kicked the floor, bulldozing his way through the roof of the abandoned building they were in. Once they were high enough, Vee flapped his wings and started to fly, heading off to Hachiko Square Combat Log:Gummy stopped him from hitting Impmon-X with Fire Vortext just in time, stopping mere inches from him. Vee digivolves to ExVeemon!Ran-gum Break and Jacked Hammer have cooled down.Fire Vortex: 1/2 cool-down.

WereGarurumon's warnings went completely ignored by the ExVeemon, who made the mistake of insulting his jeans. "What'd you say, PUNK?" His ire stoked, WereGarurumon focused intensely on the draconian monster, preparing to hunt. With an explosive burst of movement, he spun through the air and whipped his leg around to deliver a devastating kick. "Garuru Kick!" Blue lightning streaked from the bottom of WereGarurumon's feet as he brought his leg down in a powerful axe-kick.
Satoshi continued to work as hard as he could to evacuate the surrounding civilians. As he did so, he was also frantically typing away at his D-Terminal, scrambling to see if there was anyone available to help with the incident. However, all the other AEGIS agents seemed to be otherwise preoccupied. This didn't bode well, but at least there were others in the area to help out. As long as they played their cards right, they'd be able to get out of this mess with very little issue.
BATTLE LOG:
ExVeemon has become the target of WereGarurumon's Hunter's Game. WereGarurumon quickly follows up with a Garuru Kick.
-Hunter's Game: WereGarurumon focuses on a single enemy. As long as he targets that enemy, his attacks are 20% stronger. -Garuru Kick: WereGarurumon kicks at the enemy with his powerful legs.
Pack Rally cooldown: 2/4

God, these kids were loud. Well, one of them was at the very least. Stingmon kept his eyes on the battle even while his compatriot of the scaly variety engaged in a shouting match with everybody down below, even insulting the Weregarurumon. More on that later, really. Of course, his insistence upon watching Trigger’s bout with almost everyone at once bore fruit in the form of him being able to catch when Bagheeramon broke off and maneuvered around to jump at him. Yes. He jumped. At someone who was already flying. Really, that attack didn’t so much matter to Stingmon as he made the most optimal move that anyone could in such a situation. He moved to the left as the carded up cat approached, narrowly missing him. And without missing a beat? He moved to make an attempt to slam one of his arms down upon the cat’s back to send him plummeting down into the pavement. Regardless of whether or not that hit, he only had one sentence to say. "Is that your best?”Tentomon literally turned to shoo Bearmon and Zachary away. “No, no! What’re you DOING? Why are you STILL HERE? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? I’m trying to distract them!” Seriously, did they not understand what diversions were or something? Machine, of course, actually followed that up. “He’s got a point, get behind cover!” He yelled. There actually were a few places to get behind, too. Granted, most of them were shopping stands. Still better than nothing. There was also actually a little danger to be had, because ExVeemon was actually a little impressed his taunting worked on the WereGarurumon. Who, though he had marked him, had also very much leapt into action. This created a problem for Seifer, because then the Revivemon couldn’t aim without possibly harming the WereGarurumon. Conversely, his entire situation was a problem because he couldn’t…quite engage the enraged furry in combat in this form. Not to his full extent. So, what’s a mon to do? He braced himself to take that blow head on, blue flames beginning to brim around him. An interesting counterpart to the blue lightning emitted by the WereGarurumon. The ExVeemon, bruised and scorched as he was, gave a harsh shove up at the werewolf to force him back as he aimed to follow that up twofold. The aforementioned blue flames coalesced to cover the ExVeemon as what burst OUT of those flames was an AeroVeedramon. He doesn’t get an image, sadly. The holy dragon’s next move was…nothing at all! Except the fire that he had burst out of formed itself into an aura of energy that was vaguely shaped like an AeroVeedramon and flew for WereGarurumon, aiming to surround him before exploding violently, embers spraying allover the place like the average roleplayer’s muse. So, yeah, that was a thing. Of course, Seifer found his opening right then and there, and opted to seize it. The mouth upon his chest opened up to fire a golden beam towards AeroVeedramon, a grim reminder that he was still here. As luck would have it? AeroVeedramon reacted far too late, and got nicked upside the chest by what the Revivemon would call a rather sloppy shot. And while all of this was happening? Tentomon went to grab the goggleclad human and Bearmon by the pants or scruff of their neck and drag them away from the action. Because god forbid someone get hit by a stray shot from THREE ultimates, something that was VERY possible here! The Impmon X took a few breaths as Gummy asked how one could handle Trigger. Honestly? They were more than a bit thankful that he didn't go through with the Fire Vortex. That'd have hurt like HELL. Eight took a glance towards the draconic Digimon. “…I mean, he did seem kind of uncomfortable before all this started going to hell…” “Easy, Mr. Chihuahua. Alright, so. Y’know how most of either of the three iterations of Rapidmon are mostly covered in armor, right? That part’s pretty damn dense, but what -isn’t- dense is…” They managed to get out before Eight finished that sentence for him. “…The parts that aren’t covered in armor? Like the legs? Or the midsection?”“Bingo! Besides, a good hit or two to there’s bound to hurt anyone. Plus, it’s better than trying to bite through metal. Though…I gotta ask, how the heck are you two gonna deal with that guy? Your tamer’s who knows where an-” “I don’t have a tamer. He does.” Eight quipped -right- back. Meanwhile, with Trigger? He was rid of the bug’s mandibles for the moment, but that didn’t really change the fact this was still two against one. This time, though, both of his opponents had been attacking at a distance, which made attempting to evade the sheer amount of electricity an oxymoron in that it was easier to try, but much harder to succeed at. Nonetheless, the BlackRapidmon was not quite known for making smart moves. He was known for hitting things hard and said things falling apart. Trigger leapt upwards in an attempt to avoid the combined electrical onslaught, but…he wasn’t on the mark regarding this either, as Eris’ cannons (and Otohime’s shocking fusillade) grazed at his legs…And the ensuing kaboom sent him up into the air. Fret not, however, he could make use of this! He spread his arms outwards, and pointed his legs downwards so that his body was arranged akin to a triangle, before a golden aura surrounded him. If anyone knew anything about Rapidmon? Any one of them could do this. And any one of them could dish out a ton of damage with this. A laser the size of Trigger’s entire body shot forth, accompanied by a ear-rattling noise. It was initially aimed at the BlitzGreymon, but Trigger promptly swung his focus to the GranKuwagamon, the laser moving to try frying her too! And while this all was happening? A disturbingly loud, horrific wail could be heard from elsewhere in Shibuya. It wasn't loud enough to leave anyone's ears ringing, but it was a dead ringer that this may not have been the only place where trouble had arisen. Just what was going on this Golden Week?
Passives: Trigger: Rip and Tear: BlackRapidmon builds up stacks of tension the longer he fights. So long as he is able to attack and is being attacked, the Ultimate level will become progressively more and more violent. This doesn’t actually affect how hard he hits, just how he acts.
Very Trigger Happy: In addition to this, Trigger Happy has received an upgrade. BlackRapidmon is now capable of swapping between lasers and missiles every two turns. Scarab: Unspeaking: Or is he? Stingmon does not speak outside of video game sound clips. You’re going to get annoyed. Very fast. He prefers Shao Kahn quotes, humorously enough. Skyterror: ? Gyo: Ace Cadet: AeroVeedramon is, in fact, an expert flier, and he wants you to know it. He’s 20% more nimble than the average member of this infestation, and to top it all off, he hits 15% harder too.
So, in order of what’s going on? Stingmon not quite narrowly avoids Bagheeramon’s assault and counters with Chitin Hammer. Chitin Hammer: Stingmon aims a swift and brutal strike at an enemy, with a balled up fist. It’s not as powerful as his other moves, but he can still hit with enough force to knock someone off balance. One post cooldown. Meanwhile, ExVeemon tanks the kick from WereGarurumon, taking a nice chunk of damage before he evolves into AeroVeedramon and retaliates with Dragon Impulse, before getting sniped by Seifer’s Savior Beam. No, he’s not dead. Both moves detailed below. Dragon Impulse: AeroVeedramon surrounds himself in an aura of flame before he wills it to take the shape of a flaming AeroVeedramon that promptly hurls itself for an enemy, aiming to grapple/surround them with itself before going out in a blaze of azure glory for the sole purpose of dealing severe amounts of damage. Also might leave you well done. Three turn cooldown. Savior Beam: The mouth on Seifer's chest opens and fires an immense golden beam of energy at the target. Deals enhanced damage, with a one turn cooldown. And finally, Trigger, starting to wear himself off, tries dodging the combined attack mounted on him by jumping. That doesn’t go really well, and he’s propelled into the air by the ensuing explosion. He uses this airtime to fire Golden Triangle in an attempt to attack Eris with it first before turning his sights, and the laser, onto Otohime! Golden Triangle: A technique that all Rapidmon variants, green, black or gold, are capable of using. Trigger surrounds himself in a golden aura and positions himself in a pose akin to a triangle before he fires forth a disturbingly powerful laser that he can direct as he sees fit for the turn he uses this in. It also pierces through most defenses! Four turn cooldown.
Cooldowns: Royalty Free Missile Massacre™: 2/3 Chitin Hammer: 0/2 Dragon Impulse: 0/3 Golden Triangle: 0/4 Super Hot Fire: 1/2 Seifer’s Cooldowns (because he’s not with these bozos above): Savior Beam: 0/1 Cop Counter™: Turn 4/??

Humans were fragile. Their world, their lives, like spun glass. Surprisingly resilient to the pressures of the universe, but capable of shattering into a thousand pieces from the wrong touch. Such had been one of the first lessons her Father had taught Eris fresh from the egg. Humans were fragile, but they were their friends, and friends protect friends.
As Eris watched Trigger shift, legs coming together, arms spread wide, they didn't think twice. Just let the burn of the Renamon card sear through their senses as in less then the time it took to blink they'd vaulted forward. Chest to chest, nose to nose, so close the rabbit could see the whites of the armored dragon's eyes as they smiled all teeth and no warmth.
"Boom~" They whispered with that edged grin as they threw out their own arms in mockery of the rabbit's stance a glittering shield of plasma surrounding Trigger and themselves. . .right as the Black Rapidmon fired.
Fire and light rippled within the shield the explosion muffled as if deep underwater until the plasma field gave shattering outwards as it absorbed the blast. Leaving the square miraculously intact, but not the blackened and burned figure of the Blitzgreymon as it crashed to the pavement below with the scream of metal. Caving in pavement and scattering flecks of concrete as they impacted and lay still, static and sparks dancing over their broken armor.
Eris uses Card: DA-03 [Renamon] ability Kohenkyo to teleport to Trigger DA-03 Card Name: Renamon Type: Digimon Rank: Bronze Duration: 1 Post Diamond Storm: A hail of razor sharp shards of glass are summoned and fired at the enemy in one wave Kohenkyo: A small wind rotates around the target Digimon and they quickly transport from one place to another within five metres.
Eris uses Elec Guard to surround her and Trigger to contain the blast. -Elec Guard: Forms a circular 360 degrees shield around itself using plasma particles deflecting all champion and lower attacks for a single turn, or stopping one ultimate level attack, or halving the damage from a single Mega level attack. If used while Particle Field is operational Elec guard gains a temporary boost stopping all Ultimate attacks for a single turn or stopping a single Mega level attack. Cooldown three turns.

Bagheeramon made a decent attempt to reach the airborne enemy-- but that was the problem. With his wings, the Stingmon easily flew out of reach into the air and sought to counter. Bageeramon had no such control as he was in free-fall that point, and was soon struck by Stingmon's strike to his back. The tiger let loose a roar of pain as he was sent back to the ground with an earth-shaking impact. Bageeramon used his lightning claw to meet the impact but it didn't do much to deviate the attack. WHAM!! Zachary saw him get smacked down to the ground. The speed card gave him faster speed but no amount could help him in midair like that. " Bagheeramon!" Zachary shouted as he took a few steps closer to his partner, now surrounded by the smoke from the impact. " Are you alright?! Answer me!" The smoke soon cleared, showing Bagheeramon in a small crater of crushed concrete. Despite the hard impact, Bageeramon growled stubbornly and slowly rose up. " A little bruised... but I'll be fine. Grrrr..." Bagheeramon grumbled, rising up once again. Though an armor wasn't as strong as a champion-- the difference was negligible. One thing Zachary knew-- when in the face of sheer strength, get smart with strategy. Luckily, he had one and the time to use it was now. Bagheeramon growled as he rose back up and glared at the Stingmon. " Don't let up, Zachary. Let's do this..." he growled, hearing the Stingmon's taunt. He would let the action speak for him. Zachary dug into his pocket to find the next card he needed-- but soon was shouted at by the Tentomon. Bearmon jumped at the bug and Zachary scowled at him. " Hey, don't bug me! Calm down, I'm trying to help here." Zachary argued, but soon realized the point in mind. Zachary quickly got behind one of the foodcarts-- while Bearmon hid behind the Honeybun one-- more so so he could steal another 'Bear Claw/Honeybun' to eat. At this time, Bageeramon once again got up and sprinted forward! The speed card made him faster, but also lighter-- hence why the attack struck so hard. It was not likely the tiger could endure another direct hit like that without consequence. While he ran-- Zachary fished out one of his cards-- seeing the winged symbol of it on it. Hyper Wings! As Bageeramon once again left a myrad of movements, leaving blurs and after images in his wake-- he was ready to pounce, and Zachary was ready. Grasping the card, he held it in one hand and his Digivice in the other, his arms crossed in the same pose. He brought the two together, the slashed card releasing a flash of light from the reader and screen of his D-Power. " Digi-Modify!" he shouted, and slashed the card the remaining way through. " Hyper-Wing, Activate!" In that moment, the back of the black tiger glowed and blades of light came from his back, almost like the blades along with his armor. The lights became feathers-- showing as wings of light! With his pounce upward-- he took to the sky. This time, his speed was added to the wings, allowing him to not only move fast, but fly as well. This time, he wouldn't get outmaneuvered by Stingmon. As he flew up this time he moved with much swifter and accurate aim to strike Stingmon. As Stingmon would soon take notice to the second attack-- that was when things got interesting. Upon his approach, Bageeramon's armor released sparks of electricity-- and the blades on his body extended from the armor he wore on his back, claws and mask. He let out a visious growl as he entered high-speed to strike. Tigerstorm!Bageeramon was gone in a flash of movement. Soon, surrounding Stingmon was a series of flashes and swift strikes of blades, like a typhoon of swirling blades that seemed to move too fast for the eye to track. If successful, Stingmon would be struck by a multitude of blade strikes from the tiger-- now able to fly thanks to his tamer's quick and in-sync actions. Due to the high-speed Bageeramon was already moving, the damage from his Tigerstorm would compound to become even stronger, even to the extent impressive of a regular champion.
OOC Notes: Bageeramon was hit and sent back to the ground, taking moderate damage, but still able to fight. He enters his fast movements again while Zachary gets cover, following the bossy Tentomon-- but using a bug pun on him while Bearmon hides too-- and steals a bearclaw from the empty stand Zachary uses Wings of Light modify card to add t o Bageeramon's card and natural speed in combination, making him faster and agile for the airborne enemy. He jumps up and attempts to use Tigerstorm! Tigerstorm: Focusing on a single target, Bagheeramon charges at high speed. Though rapid succession, he slashes the enemy a multiple of several times, dealing damage so fast he is near flashes to the naked eye. Whenever under the effect of a speed-increasing effect, the damage of this attack increases by 25% each. This attack is a metal-attribute via his claws and blades. Cooldown of 2 posts, passive does not count. (Accounting for speed card , and possibly Weregarurumon's buff if it counts for a huge boost in power) Cards Used : 3/5. Light as a feather(speed effect) : 2/3 duration. Wings of Light(Flight ability): 1/3 duration.

What the Impmon was saying made sense. No wonder why everyone over there were taking a long time dealing with the Rapidmon; they were not aiming for the parts of his body not exposed by armor. Sure, Eris and the GranKuwagamon outnumbered it 2-to-1, but if they didn't end this now, chances are that the Rapidmon might escape, causing further havoc in the city. The Impmon then asked how they're gonna fight them since they needed to evolve, the Labramon quickly pointed out that Gummy has a Tamer, which made him lose his gun-ho demeanor. Digivolving...right. "You're right on that one, but..." The Gumdramon was at a lose for words for a bit . "I don't know where he went off to. My bro went off to find him, but I don't think he'll be back in time."As much as he wanted to help, in a fight between Ultimates, he pretty much stood absolutely zero chances of even making a difference. He pretty much would be dead weight to everyone here fighting. But still, he can't just sit here and do nothing! Gummy raised his head up. "Wait, what the hell am I saying? I don't need to freaking digvolve to make a difference! And to hell with standing around and being a spectator , I'm gonna put that crazy-ass puddle down one way or another!"He sprinted off, charging at the Black Rapidmon, who pretty much was getting curb stomp by Eris so far. Was it a stupid thing to do--charging head first at what could be suicide? Maybe, but he was too prideful to consider that. Of there was even a 1% chance he'll make a difference, he'll take that. Anything to smash his stupid face into pavement. Suddenly, a large figure came crashing in front of Gummy, knocking him off his feet as a dust cloud formed. For a second Gummy looked confused and a little dazed, not knowing who or what just appeared. Peering through the dust, the figure had the shape of an ExVeemon. Another smaller figure jumped off of the large Digimon's shoulder. Gummy rose to his feet silently and bristled. His tail caught on fire, ready to face whoever had to audacity to get in his way. As the dust settled, it was clear as day who the two figures in question were: It was none other than Justice and Vee, who digivolved into the Champion level. "Kept you waiting, huh," Justice asked. He peered at all the fighting that's going around them. "Seems like a whole lot of everything's going around here." Gummy scoffed at the comment. "Something like that. Where the hell have you two been?"
"Oh, I found him in the neighborhood, doing what he does best." Vee replied. Knowing what that means, Gummy sighed. "You don't say..."Smiling, Justice then turn towards the fights that were taking place. There were three fights taking place. His D-Watch activated and began to provide new information via a small hologram. There was one between a BlitzGremon, a GranKuwagamon, and a Black Rapidmon, the second between a Were Garurumon and a Stingmon, and the third between an AeroVeedramon and a black tiger-like Digimon that the D Watch had no records of it in its database. A new species of Digimon perhaps? "Boy oh boy...Sounds like this is gonna be one helluva party," Justice said. His D-Watch began to glow a spastic orange, the energy then surrounding Gummy. A toothy grin appeared on his face before he was enveloped by the digital energy. His eyes glowed a vibrant blue. "Gumdramon, Digivolve to...Arresterdramon!"Now powered up, Gummy then rushed off to the Black Rapidmon, with Vee following in quick pursuit. Taking the advice from the Impmon-X, he aimed for the unarmored of the enemy Digimon, more specifically, his torso. "Spin Caliber!"Following suit, Vee dashed forward, his hand igniting into hands of flame. "Searing Fists!" He bellowed. He rushed, and attacked with precise, well judged punches, each one shooting out small infernos that exploded when it makes contact. Combat Log:Gummy digivolves to Arresterdramon.Gummy attacks Black Rapidmon with Spin Caliber, aiming at his unarmored torso in a swiping manner.- Spin Caliber: Slashes the enemy with his super-sized Tail Anchor. Causes minor Bleeding Effect (Damage over Time) for two turns. Two post cooldown. Vee follows up Gummy's attack with Searing Fists.- Searing Fists: Vee's fists become covered in flames. He attacks slowly, but with a massive amount of force, and each swipe blasts the opponent with mini infernos. Two-post cooldown.

A lot was happening at once with Trigger now. The insane rabbitborg seemed to not know when he was outnumbered. Even after the double electrical onslaught, he was still not down. Rather, he was unleashing his biggest attack yet, a laser the size of himself! Otohime was quite worried! Under no circumstances must it reach the people! ...it seemed Eris had the same idea, as she dashed forth, and trapped the laser meant for her with Trigger, creating an explosion within the shield she erected. The bug was stunned. Eris...had sacrificed herself! She had taken the entire attack, so she would not be hurt! Otohime looked down, then her red bug eyes looked back at Trigger. "Look what you have done you madman! You forced a hero to make a sacrifice to stop you! Now I will put an end to your madness! For Eris! For the city! For justice!" Electricity arced over the bug's jet black body as it charged at Trigger, seeking to ram its entire, electrified body mass into it at no concern to its own well-being, both to finally bring him down, and if he still stood, to get him away from the injured Eris and the innocents!
Otohime uses Electric Tackle: GranKuwagamon electrifies its body and rams into an enemy.

WereGarurumon's kick connected quite well, but ExVeemon was not about to give up so easily. After a quick evolution, the enemy retaliated with a powerful projectile. Without being able to maneuver as well in the air, the blast smacked into WereGarurumon. Luckily, his fur was very good at absorbing impacts, so he remained conscious.
"That's it," WereGarurumon growled. "I was letting you off easy, but no more! You need to chill out!" He slammed his paws together as he fell to the ground. An icy energy gathered in a sphere, and before he hit the ground, he yelled out: "Glacial Blast!"
An immense blast of cold rocketed out of the Ultimate's hands and toward AeroVeedramon. If it connected, AeroVeedramon would be completely frozen for a short time.
WereGarurumon uses Glacial Blast
Glacial Blast: WereGarurumon shoots a beam of ice from his hands. If the enemy is hit, they will be frozen for their next post. 3 post cooldown.

There was truth in the lessons bequeathed unto Eris. Humans were indeed, fragile creatures. The BlitzGreymon knew this as she made a rather sacrificial play by quite literally playing her cards right to teleport in FRONT of Trigger just as he fired forth his Golden Triangle, tanking the whole thing and some with a barrier around the two. It was a -devastating- explosion for how contained it had been, and it was an attack meant for two. Naturally, the smoldering wreck that dropped down was likely not able to fight for much longer. Trigger made a slow descent after the fact, blackened beyond recognition. Which was saying something considering he was already a black subspecies. This was far from conducive towards continued survival, as what happened next was…a little bit chaotic, to the point where a particular fairy would probably be laughing her ass off. What ensued was a dogpile. Confronted from two ends by two rather imposing Digimon on one (one of whom he was pretty sure was a Gyo imposter), and the bug on the other. To put it lightly, the BlackRapidmon had overexerted himself, and that proved to be his undoing. There was smoke from the collective strikes, and from that smoke, fell a Terriermon. Eight looked to Impmon, then looked on, before he looked back and noticed that… … The Impmon X was no longer next to him. Why? Well, for starters, the only glimpse that Eight caught of them had him fading into a shadow that seemed to grow exponentially in size and shape, as the Terriermon began to try fleeing. Except something stopped him dead in his tracks, specifically something akin to a limb emerging from from thin air and grappling him by the ear. “We regret to inform you that there’s no refunds on this express ticket to Hell, Trigger.” That was unmistakably Impmon’s voice, as a Baalmon slowly revealed itself from thin air behind the Terriermon, before hefting the rookie up, and hurling him at the ground. Thankfully, that didn’t do him in. It just hurt. A lot. Enough to knock him out. Machine was playing back everything that just occurred in his head. One, another Veemon showed up carrying another tamer who appeared to be (read: was) the Gumdramon’s handler. Where the hell had he been this whole time? In the meantime, the AeroVeedramon scoffed at WereGarurumon’s threat. “‘EASY?’ ‘CHILL?’ Don’t make me laugh!” He screeched, before he made absolutely NO EFFORT TO DODGE the attack launched towards him. Instead, he beat his wings once as a flurry of winds surrounded his front, and more importantly, sent that blast of cold right back at WereGarurumon. It was only then that he noted the development with Trigger. Particularly the Baalmon glaring right at them. “You Sovereign damned two-timing Sukamon!”Yeah, no. He wasn’t gonna die getting ganged up on by a number of ultimates. AeroVeedramon turned tail and made to soar off. Meanwhile, with Stingmon…To paraphrase a skeleton who was now in the most popular platform fighter on a particular console that will not be named? It was a wonder why people didn’t just open up with their strongest attacks first. Because right off the bat, Bagheeramon’s brazen assault was already doing way more than whatever that was. Though, to Stingmon, Bagheeramon was just moving fast and hitting him with blades. It wasn’t as though he were truly invisible to the bug. And yet, the slight difference in level was all that was preventing Stingmon from keeling over. That and the fact he hadn't actually been hit by anything up till now. The most effort he was putting into mitigating damage was parrying a few strikes with his gauntlets. Okay. His turn. First, Stingmon flew towards Bagheeramon, before jabbing his arm forward, the lance upon his wrist extending as he aimed to pierce the hide of the beast. He repeated this again with the other arm, and the other lance. A two-fold attack. It was worth noting that Stingmon was fast. Even for one of his species. “Feel the wrath of Shao Kahn!”Whether or not that first attack hit or missed, the green parts on Stingmon’s body suddenly flashed a brighter shade as he attacked again. This time, a much more basic attack in the form of spinning around violently and throwing a kick midway to get the cat off of his nonexistent tail before he soared off after AeroVeedramon. A rather high frequency noise then erupted through the area, coming from Seifer. Humans really couldn’t hear this, but the Digimon? Oh, the Digimon could ALL hear it. Stingmon’s flight noticeably ceased for three seconds, while AeroVeedramon flat out took a nosedive, but kept trucking on. “Oh boy. Runners. Seifer, we’re pursuing them.”Machine stated, quite flatly, before looking to everyone gathered. “Hate to throw this on you, but make sure those two don’t get up to anything. Backup’ll be here in a bit.” That was delivered in a manner that was about as cold as can be expected, despite the annoyed look on Machine’s face as he pointed at Baalmon and the knocked out Terriermon. This, however, elicited a snerk from Baalmon as Seifer waited for Machine to hop on, and once that was done, began to fly off. “Hey, what about us?” Eight barked out, only to be silenced by Baalmon. “…Let him go. His problem. Not mine. Not yours. Not any of you.” The demon man was holding back laughter, now. “Apologies, apologies, just…this is amusing.” …Why? Regardless, sirens could be heard. That...was likely the backup.
Passives: Trigger: No passives, cause he's OUT. Scarab: Unspeaking: Or is he? Stingmon does not speak outside of video game sound clips. You’re going to get annoyed. Very fast. He prefers Shao Kahn quotes, humorously enough.
Skyterror: Stingmon is so goddamn fast, even for his species, that he can attack twice every three turns. He was only really not using this because he pities you. Gyo: Ace Cadet: AeroVeedramon is, in fact, an expert flier, and he wants you to know it. He’s 20% more nimble than the average member of this infestation, and to top it all off, he hits 15% harder too.
So, in order of what’s going on? Trigger gets caught in a three way assault. He’s reverted back to Rookie thanks to all the damage, and attempts to flee. Except, Impmon decides to warp Digivolve into Baalmon, before making liberal use of Obsfucate to sneak in and effectively knock the Terriermon out with a well-placed slam. Obfuscate: Baalmon fades away into literal obscurity, shadows engulfing them before parting to reveal nothing. In actuality, Baalmon’s INVISIBLE, only casting a faint glimmer in the air and giving off a faint shadow. Her next attack’s damage is doubled. The invisibility lasts only for one round. Three turn cooldown. Meanwhile, AeroVeedramon bats back WereGarurumon’s attack with Wind Guardian. Have fun with that. He also starts running like a wuss. Wind Guardian: With a ferocious beat of the wings, AeroVeedramon brings forth a flurry of winds to shield himself from one attack of equivalent level, repelling melee attackers and reflecting ranged attacks back towards their source. Three turn cooldown. Stingmon is hit by Tigerstorm, making a minimal amount of effort to parry the strikes to mitigate the damage some. As he’s basically fully healthy, this does not cause him to just drop dead even with the buffs. In retaliation, he uses Bug Bolg, flying at Panthermon with the intent to skewer him, before he activates Skyterror to attack a second time to cap that off with a kick meant to send him away from Stingmon. After that, he too flees. Bug Bolg: Stingmon’s wrist lances extend as he attempts to skewer his opponent with two strikes, one from each arm. They each deal a rather severe amount of damage (for a champion at least), so watch out. Seifer, though…Seifer opts to harass the hell out of the runners with Shattering Resonance, before he and Machine go off to pursue the fleeing people. Shattering Resonance - Seifer emits a powerful roar that is at too high a frequency for humans to hear, but digimon with sensitive hearing can. The effect of this is that all passive abilities of enemy digimon within 50m are disrupted for 1 turn. [Cooldown: 3 turns] Apart from those attacks used? Combat's over. The dastardly duo ran. One more round and we'll wrap this thing up.
Cooldowns: Chitin Hammer: 1/2 Dragon Impulse: 1/3 Seifer’s Cooldowns: Savior Beam: 1/1 Shattering Resonance: 0/3 ...I don't think we need the cop counter anymore.

The shattered blackened hunk of armor that had once been a Blitzgreymon where it lay smoking at the bottom of the crater seemed to collapse in on itself in a shower of data and sparks. Smoke swallowing the remains as a small blackened figure shakily clawed her way out of the ash and debree. Blinking watering blue eyes the little Gigimon coughed out a lungful of smoke before looking up with a tearfilled smile at the looming Baalmon.
"I knew you could do it!" She choked out with another hacking cough as she beamed up at him. Her little legs wobbling before giving out as she landed on her belly on the pavement with a soft "Oof~ and closed her eyes. Resting her tired head against the warm concrete for a moment as she took a soft shuddering breath.
"Toldya you could make friends. See you already got a bunch of us." She mumbled words slurred with exhaustion as she smiled up at the once Impmon X turned Baalmon. "Sometimes it's not half bad being the hero~" Eris quipped before letting out another cough and a wince, "Even if it hurts."

While the others were doing a good job-- Zachary and Bagheeramon struggled. Just as Bagheeramon had managed to make contact with a wicked Tigerstorm attack, the best his strikes did against the more fortified Stingmon were a few mild scratches. This irritated the bug at least to make him take the cat seriously. However, while the attacks were swift and sharp, it didn't do much in terms of damage-- as was the stupid rule of how an armor couldn't compete with a champion...
Just as Bageeramon exited his high-speed slashes-- he soon was upon him Stingmon, attempting to deliver a vicious blow right through his chest.
Sparks discharged from Bageeramon as he saw the attack coming-- this time with wings and speed able to compensate a bit. But the attack would still come-- until Bageeramon's body erupted with lightning all over. "OVERLOAD!!" he roared, causing a violent airborne shock of lightning all around him-- the flash going off like a flare in the sky. Zachary braced his eyes against the flash as he tried to figure out what was happening, but it was just enough to deter the blow against him.
The blast of lightning was enough to also get Bageeramon clear of the Stingmon's assault but forced the cat back towards the ground to evade the strike. The cat swirled down on his wings of light and skidded to the ground-- leaving tracks behind with his claws. He let out a furious growl, pissed off that the Stingmon was that cocky.
"Coward!!" Bageeramon roared as he took off flying to escape the sirens. However, his energy soon ran low as he growled and lowered himself to the ground, spent. His body glowed ans the armor that made up his body-- his form, released a beam of blue light that shot to Zachary's Digivice. In that glow he shrunk in size, returning to Panthermon.
"Panthermon!" Zachary cried as he ran over to his jungle cat Digimon. "Are you okay?"
The cat growled as he laid there, showing some bruises and scratches over his body, his fur unkempt. "Damnit... I'm sorry Zachary..."
Things began to calm down as Zachary looked to find the Blitzgreymon nearby, clearly having done what she had to do. Hopefully things would resume to safety but still... he had no idea why this happened to start with. He felt pathetic however, as a tamer, everyone else was stronger than he and Panthermon was.
As the police sirens began to finally signal helps arrival, Zachary could only wonder how they were going to explain this to the police. A part of him told him to run and for Panthermon to disappear-- but in his state, he couldn't just go invisible just yet...
