Snowflake village?
Yes. That place. The home that she had before the inn. The inn that was in the eastern timberlands. Well not she, the other she. The she before. It was confusing, these people knowing who she was before. The muck of confusion and the the gentle aura mixed for a moment.
Who was the brother that this other was asking for? Who was this other in the first place? Angel? She knew that vaguely didn't she? Then there was that portal, one that brought a signal that the egg recognized out of instinct. Out of habit, the gentle tone staggering out to one of shock and surprise. Though it'd take a few moments for that to come around again.
This one was one that the prior loved a lot right? There was a lot of memories with these two in it. It wasn't a surprise. Should she come out now? Try to talk? Bide her time? No. She had to wait. They had plans. They had plans that she'd mess up if she did it here. So yes. Waiting. Nervous waiting.
The hovering blue text slowly crawled around the egg, the seven pronged key making it's way around in a circle. Mikemon would easily recognize all of the symbols there, being as he had seen most of them or would understand the iteration. Though the fourth symbol, that of silence would likely be lost on him at first.

In one slightly jerky motion the Wizardmon rolled onto her back, pulling her shoe free as she underhand, chucked it over her head at Mikemon's forehead. The piece of apparel hopefully impacting with a satisfying thud as Cas tilted her head to peer at him upside down as she pointed a gloved finger up at him.
"We are not abandoning your wife's egg in the middle of the woods to be raised by wolves Mikemon! We're not animals!" Cas yelled, well tried to yell, it mostly came out as a slightly squeeky angry rasping whisper losing most of it's intimidation factor in the process.
"If you don't want anything to do with the egg at first that's understandable. You want to give her a choice to know you, but she can't choose if she doesn't even understand she has options! So if you insist on dumping her at least do so with a good and neutral loving family and with the intention of meeting her one day when she's older." The Doctor grumbled out jabbing her finger at the cat a few more times for emphasis.
"I still think you're being an idiot, but I at least understand where you're coming from. I refuse however, to just leave the giant glowy holy beacon egg laying around. You didn't see how they were squabbling over her like vultures. It was sickening."

WHAM!
The cat was taken by surprise, hit by that boot, and sent flat on his back to the metal floor below, several swears escaping his fangs at that sudden action. Those ceased, though, as Cassandra immediately starting berating her, his ears slipping flat to the back of his head.
Cassandra... well, she had a point. "That's why I would have left her near Rosewood... ugh... but I suppose you have a point..." He slowly sat up, putting a healing paw right up to his forehead, shaking his head at the contact. Indeed, he was being an idiot, but what exactly was he supposed to do in that situation? Seeing that egg shift again, the cat gave a blink.
He was tempted to cradle it, to take it right home then and there, but he shook his head.
"Rosewood. Rosewood directly, then." The cat gave a sigh. "Lots of Digimon are moving there to try and get a new start - and its not a place built by the governments of the rest of the world. She can be raised by a nice, simple family there. I hope that is acceptable for you..."
He gave a sigh, slowly standing up. Though it sounded off, there were several Digimon who were raised, exactly as Mikemon described. And most of them, well, they turned out alright enough.
It was about how he was raised, anyway...

The sound of the boot hitting mikemon made the egg shift slightly, as though hitting the prior iteration's husband made her angry. There was a desire to shift closer to the mikemon, in an effort to coddle them but it failed rather lamely. If her prior husband had been an idiot about this well... at least they had someone to pull them through!
More decisions were made without their consent, more curious actions too. The egg shifted back into position. Those digital scripts still rotating around the egg.
A nice simple family.
Something that she had before her life at the inn, a massive lifetime. Well rather the prior iteration's lifetime, nothing concrete for her of all people. But if they decided this for her, perhaps they would know best for her in this case. Rosewood did have a nice ring to it after all...
But the real question is what sort of family? If it was simple what dreams did they have or goals did they want? Would her goals outdistance the family? Would they make her conform? Or would they be gentle and supporting of her? It was hard to tell really...

"That's acceptable. I still think you're being a fool, but I understand that it's...you love her. You're not siblings. It would be awkward." Cas admits slowly relaxing where she lay staring up at him her anger gentling whether due to the fact she was too exhausted to maintain the emotion or because she couldn't stay mad at her brother for long.
"I reserve the right to keep you if you end up an egg though. No dumping my brother into the middle of the woods to be raised by wolves. We're feral enough you and I growing up in 'civilized society." She grumbles rolling onto her side as she tries to leverage herself up onto her elbows and lift herself to her feet.
"Just don't die for a good long time. The Village of Beginnings is probably not super happy with me right now." Cas mumbled under her breath leaning on the table as she made her way over to the couch to flop down onto it's much softer surface. Throwing an arm out in an offer of a hug and much needed cuddles.
"It'll be all right Mikemon."

"Its more than just the fact that I love her. Its that it might not be her." He gave a sigh - it was a frightening prospect, but he didn't want to take her, didn't want to force her into his home. If she came back...
... Well. He wanted it to be of her own will and accord. He slowly pulled himself up to sit on the chair, still rubbing his bruised forehead, flicking his ear as Cassandra brought up that next point. He'd keep her if he became an egg? "I'm flattered, really." He even managed a bit of a chuckle, both at that and the next point. Yes, she had pissed off the Village of Beginnings something fierce, that Magnamon likely still on the lookout for them.
Regardless, it seemed that everything was settled. And those five words... he didn't know how much he could believe them. He'd sigh, curling and resting in Cas' arms much like a house-cat would.
"We can only hope..."
