Hasenya could understand Mae's fear. It was like looking in some twisted mirror, and she didn't envy the Rasielmon. Though the pink fox was scared out of her wits, she at least had one thing Mae apparently didn't at that moment: the ability to move. For the gremlin's obligatory daily reckless move, she pulled away from Mae and stepped in front of her, conjuring a large sword that even looked unwieldy, but she didn't expect to actually have to use it to swing around. It was a simple means of defense that she didn't think would even last through one hit if it actually came to that. Her whole intent was to give Mae a moment to get the lead out and do something, because Hasenya sure as heck didn't have any good ideas of her own. "I'll just sick my dads on the little bastard once we're done with you and this shitty mountain." The Renamon declared, calling this edgy looking Rasielmon's bluff.
Though she talked a big game, she couldn't shake that feeling of dread from before. Something was very obviously wrong here yeah, but there was more to it. Or so that was what she felt like. The Renamon apparently had a bad habit of ignoring what her body told her in favor of doing some really idiotic things, since she was doing all this in complete disregard of how scared she was. Hasenya had already stepped up to fight a champ as a rookie, so it felt like some kind of foolish power move to hop from champ all the way up to a mega. One that would probably land her in some deep regret.

It wasn't just like looking into some weird mirror, it was like staring at your literal other self. And it was every bit as insidious as Mae would ever expect such a thing to be. The Raguelmon gave a wry smirk as the Renamon before it brought out a rather unwieldy looking weapon. "Oh, think that's going to solve the problem? I've seen that future play out--it's not fun." It calmly stepped forward and brought itself down to eye level with the Renamon. "I bet you can't even swing that thing. It's almost -pathetic- to look a-"
The other Mae never did get to finish that sentence, as Mae finally made a move, conjuring a sword of light to lash out with it with a strike aimed to hit the Raguelmon upon the arm. Her response was to leap away as a portal opened up behind her...Before a second one opened up above Mae, jettisoning out the Raguelmon headfirst at the Ophanim as she threw a claw-ended jab.
Thing is, the other one didn't recall what the real one was capable of. As though she had seen that coming, Mae leapt away and whipped around, throwing her hand out as the cipher on her wrist's symbols went from 5 to 1 before firing out a big ol' stream of energy at the Raguelmon. Who took it head on.
Should say something about how durable Super Megas were, because it didn't do a lot of damage. It just pushed the beast back. "You held back! Afraid you'll kill the cute fox on accident~?"
"SHUT UP!" Mae...shouted. Yep, that was a total loss of composure for her! How was Hasenya faring throughout all of this?

Hasenya let her weapon fall out of her hands into the snow and disappear while she ducked down to avoid getting caught in the crossfire between those two. This was becoming a more and more dangerous place for a mere Rookie to be- Hell, it wouldn't be that much better even if she were somehow a champion. The pink fox half-scuttled, half-crawled away from the two fighting to increase the chances she wouldn't have the crap killed out of her on accident. They were at a complete loss for what to do otherwise. The fighting had barely started, and yet anything Hasenya might've read in her little story books didn't come up to par with this. "Don't call me that! I didn't give you permission!" The Renamon protested, though she knew she couldn't do much physically to keep this faker from using that word. It felt dirty and she didn't like it one bit when it came out of the fake Mae's mouth. "Oh, but I think you love the attention." A voice not dissimilar from Hasenya's own offered its two cents on the situation. Though they may be similar, one distinct difference that stood out was that this new one sounded.. older. Or at least that was the only way Hasenya could think to describe it. It was a difference that would be better suited for a Digimon much larger. From the mist behind the pink fox came a hulking Belphemon-X, though of a coloration very different from the actual Demon Lord. Another difference was the amount of scars that covered its body, especially its head and face. It seemingly ignored the two cats and focused its gaze down on Hasenya, its eyes glowing pink. "I could dare to think you prefer it when she doesn't have permission. Am I wrong?" They asked without even waiting for Hasenya to process what was happening. The Renamon couldn't even respond, she just stood there staring and scared out of her mind. At least she knew pink could be menacing. How would Mae handle a second Super Mega showing up? Whatever touching that hilt did, Mae could already tell she was going to hate this. The other, much less friendly Mae cocked her head towards the Renamon. "I didn't ask." She snarled before she launched herself towards the Rasielmon, aiming to repeat the same thing she tried earlier, sans a portal. The kicker was that this time it actually worked, Mae not quite being able to match up the difference in power between the Super Mega apparition and herself.
The worst part was that normally this would be when she'd be able to make use of Preserver Mode, yet...Nothing happened. The Raguelmon sank her claws into the Rasielmon and sent her staggering back some. It didn't so much as send her flying as it just HURT to be hit by.
...Now another imposter deigned to show their face, and one would assume that voice belonged to something vaguely fox like, but...Mae turned her gaze to find the sight of a Digimon she had GENUINELY never seen before. Was that a Belphemon? It looked like something like the X-Antibody hit it and had it's way with that monster, Jesmon Christ Mode. Plus, what the actual hell were they saying? "Love the attention? What the actual hell are -you- supposed to be?"
This may have been an answer that everyone here knew, in hindsight.

"The answers in front of you." The Belphemon responded simply, pointing a claw down at Hasenya who didn't seem to be taking this very well at all. The poor pink fox was shocked silent, shaking in her non-existent boots. If this were really a reflection of herself, then all the hopes she had for Digivolving into a big knightly-type Digimon had been twisted and broken completely. It wasn't a gut punch she needed or deserved.
Hasenya didn't know how to move or to act. What could she possibly do when she was surrounded by three different Super Mega's? This was the closest the fox had ever been to fearing for her life, even though the Belphemon had made no moves to attack her or to display any sort of hostile body language. The large demon reached down with a clawed gauntlet and closed it over the Renamon's head carefully, slowly picking Hasenya up and turning them around to watch the other two fight. Neither said a word until the Belphemon parted their claws so Hasenya could actually see.
Anyone with even half a brain could know that this doppelganger could easily destroy the rookie, but that was just more reason the Belphemon didn't. They obviously had some sort of plan in mind while they forced Hasenya to watch the two Mae's go at it. That, or it was just a cruel monster. "If our beliefs say that before creation must come destruction, then let's see what we can make out of you when one of these two destroys the other."
Of course, no amount of heat Hasenya could generate would hurt her other self. Being one in the same it did absolutely nothing. She needed to do something but she could even think of what. All they had signed up for was a walk up and back down the mountain. How did things end up like this?

Well, Hasenya -would- have been surrounded by three Super Megas if whatever Mae beseeched to let her reach that level would actually answer her. She's otherwise stuck at Mega. However, this wasn't all bad for her. She had the capability to try restraining of the two Super Megas, and she was going to do just that. One of them had to be kept out of the fight for a bit so that Hasenya could stay safe.
The Ophanim threw her hand to the side as a number of portals opened up around the Belphemon-looking creature as a number of chains shot out to constrict the beast and keep her from moving from where she had been. "I'll take on both of you if I need to!" She hissed while the other Mae seized this diversion to her advantage. The beast again rushed towards the Ophanim, in an attempt to grapple her!
This attempt, however, would not bear fruit. Mae whirled around to throw a solid-seeming punch to her other self to keep her back for now. But, she obviously couldn't hold this up forever! Why oh why was this shit happening to them at the moment? How the heck were they to even get out of here?

A rookie and a mega versus two super mega's did seem very fairly unbalanced, though what could either of them do? Hasenya hadn't reached champion before and Mae was having a struggle getting any stage higher herself. Chains and other parlor tricks might keep these two at bay for some amount of time, but they needed a way out of here. The Belphemon had just about snapped it's clawed hand shut around the pink fox's head before the chains jerked it away, allowing Hasenya to duck and roll out of it's grip in a sudden burst of adrenaline.
She was quickly learning that situation where she couldn't rely on her family to come in and clean up the mess wasn't a fun one at all. They had to do this on their own it seemed, there would be no calling for help. No one would understand the Renamon's thought process in that moment where she looked up and had probably her dumbest idea all week, one inspired by a random impulse thought that just so happened to pop into her head. "Does this fog have a ceiling?"
While Belphemon struggled against its restraints, it yelled at Mae. "I didn't even have to ask you to tie me up! I think I could get used to this." Hasenya couldn't actually tell if her other self was actually enjoying being tied up like that, and she shuddered to think that a quality like that spawned from her own subconscious. Hasenya definitely was not into that kind of thing- what a creepy demon weirdo. But she could call her other self out some other time. Right now was the time for the million bit question.
"Mae, how high up do you think you can throw me?"

For a digimon that touted her clairvoyance, Mae was severely short-sighted to not have noticed the other Hasenya snapping her claw shut around the pink fox's head. A thing that her chains had thankfully prevented. The fog didn't have a ceiling that wasn't the sky itself, so theoretically one could just fly out of there and flee...
Meanwhile, Mae had one question that would probably be haunting her for the rest of her life. WHY DID THE BELPHEMON -LIKE- BEING CHAINED UP? There wasn't a single word in the dictionary to describe perfectly how abject the horror that presented itself on Mae's face when the fake Hasenya spoke those words was. So, Hasenya had the pleasure of witnessing Mae's most horrified expression as the Rasielmon turned towards her.
"C-C-Come again? How high...?" She repeated to herself, before, what she had to do became clear. No, it wasn't a vision, it was just a lot of intuition speaking. Mae did not know how high she could hurl Hasenya, but she did know that Rasielmon had a wicked throwing arm. She needed to throw her up quick, though, considering Raguelmon was hot on her tail. The Ophanim flew at the pink fox in an attempt to pick her up and hurl her as far upwards into the sky as she could!
"Hah! Killing her already, I see!"
...Raguelmon did have a move or two that could snipe someone out of the sky....

Hasenya would easily be thrown high into the air, being only a rookie compared to a mega. A rookie that was smaller than the average Renamon, at that. Truth be told, she hadn't thought this out much beyond being thrown.. Sure she had a chance to leave all on her own, but that would be both stupid and kind of a jerk move. First, how would she land safely on her own? And second, what jerk leaves someone to a two versus one fight? Sure Mae could fly, but that Belphemon very clearly had wings and those chains weren't going to hold it down forever. Even if the creep did enjoy it. You know what though? She had a better idea. As much as she wanted out of this situation, she would rather help open an opportunity for them both to escape.
Even with her mind made up, the question of how she was going to land safely still stood pretty firm- but since she wasn't going to just ditch Mae, she had an idea for that too. Once she reached peak height she conjured up a pretty basic looking shield and placed it under her feet, using one hand to hold it in place while she used the free hand for concentrated bursts of fire, manipulating her fall in such a way that was just dumb enough to work. It wasn't much and it took some pretty powerful bursts to gain any kind of movement, but it was still just enough for her to come crashing down on the restricted Belphemon's head like a fluffy meteor with a metal shell.
There was a loud metal crunch when Hasenya made impact. Unfortunately for her and Mae, it wasn't the Belphemon's head caving in.Just Hasenya's shield crumpling like papier mache before the pinkfluff was sent rolling into the snow. The demon stumbled a bit and then dropped onto one knee, letting out a pained groan after that little stunt. Even if it hadn't done much, Hasenya could consider it a small victory to have caused a super mega some measure of pain while still being a rookie.
Now she just had to figure a way to tell Mae that they could just fly out of there without alerting these two weirdos to the plan. Belphemon could obviously fly, but the Renamon didn't yet know what Raguelmon could pull off when against something that's flying. Meanwhile, the other Hasenya had stood back up and broken free of its bindings, turning to face the fox that had so boldly tried to (and mostly succeeded in) Goomba stomp them. "Fine. You must think you're clever, but I know you-- me. Everything you do is on sheer impulse, you act only on instinct. Who are you trying to save? You could easily save yourself any fighting and just stay still!"
The Belphemon lunged, reaching out with its claws to grasp at Hasenya who simply ducked out of the way. She would just have to play distraction and let Mae solve her issues with her other self until she could come up with a better plan that could see them both out of here mostly unscathed. "You dunno anything, creep! Being chained up isn't my style. You've gotta be some kind of sick in the head." Hasenya taunted, doing a very good job of keeping her shadow from going after Mae- for the moment.

While the Renamon flew up into the air, Mae had to focus her attention entirely upon Raguelmon, even with her chains restraining the Belphemon (who's reaction to it still caused her more horror than learning you could theoretically frankenstein a human into a Digimon.) Luckily, her plan of action was a pretty simple one. As the beast snarled and ran towards Mae once more, the Ophanim countered whatever sort of stupidity the creature was about to throw her way with one of her preferred methods of executing the heretical.
Mae threw her arm aside as a number of ribbon-like projections of light arced from her and towards the Raguelmon. Though they seemed harmless, at first, a number of them touched the Raguelmon, and the moment they did? They cut into her hide, and they cut into her armor. Those were far from shallow cuts, either, as data leaked from those wounds akin to blood from a human. And there were a lot of wounds on that beast.
So, suffice to say that would keep her back for a bit. "You can't kill me, you can't get rid of me! So long as there is Rasielmon's light, I will persist! And so long as I persist, N̸̙̊́̒̕Ȯ̴͍̼̓̃ͅ ̷̞̻̔Ó̷̯́ͅN̴͙̦̙̘͈͋̀̐̐̚Ë̵̱͔́̓ ̷͎̼̄̈̍̾͝Ŷ̶̦̆͆̀̕O̵͙̭̱͆U̶̹͖̹̜͘̕ ̴̧̂̔͜͜K̶̼͖̉̚͜Ṋ̶̟̮̂̃͑̕O̵̡͚̳͝ͅW̵̺̲̎́ ̸̺̞̪͍̑͗͜Ḯ̷̡̛̟̹̐̊̀S̷͕̈́̿́̍̊ ̷̢͎̮̻̰̅S̵͗̔͛͜A̵͖̪͎̤͉̔̓̉̓F̵̧͓̰͒̈́̀̈́͝ͅĖ̴̹̬̦͜.̸̦̳̞͍̓̌̈́̚ ̸̗̒̀̃N̵̺̤̆̊O̵̝͌̉ ̶̨̉Ó̵̧͍͇͕͗͛͗̐N̴̞̠͉̭̂̄̏Ê̷̻̦̠͕͌̌̚̚ ̶̤̽͒̀Ỷ̶̜̙̳̬̝̒̓̒̏Ò̶̯̩̪͐̕Ư̴̡̈́̐͛ ̷̺̘̉͌̄̍̃Ç̴̳̭͎̀̓͜A̵̺͈͕͍͂̐̈́͠R̴̡̬͊̒̊͘͘E̵̜̋ ̶̠͋͛̒̇͛A̷̭̱̽̌͠B̷͎͉͉͛̔͘͘O̵̻̅͠U̸̢̘̤̻̔̌̈́̔T̶̻̩͗̾͘.̷̨͈͎̱̻͊̿͊́̚ ̸̱̼̺̱̂̒͂̓̚N̶̼̤̾Ȏ̸̗͔̜͎ ̶̡̭̽̽̽̽̚O̷̧̗͆͑̚Ṇ̷̓͋͊̌É̶̡̪̜̓͌̈́̅ ̸̙̦̇̎͋͂͝Ỳ̶͇̃͆͘͜O̸̱̪̥͝U̵̝̺̙͂̄ ̷̮̮͔͐̽L̸͔͉͙̺̝̒Ò̶͔́̀͛̚V̶̧̄̌͌͂Ḙ̷͚̌.̵̡̭̪̼̉̌ ̶̗͚̮̲̙͌̆͝Ý̵̛̩̭̻̿͛Ơ̵̻͙̏̒̈́͝Ų̶̫̇̑ ̷̧̻̯͚̲͛̔D̸̺̬̺͙̽̾̽͝O̶̧̎́ ̶̢̭̋̊́͠Ń̵̗̗͔̯͌̐͝Ȏ̵̯̤Ṫ̷̬͉̬̺̺͒̃͘ ̷̨̥̩͊͌͠͝ͅP̷̛̙̞̣̯̱͋̅͠R̸̠̤̩̉ͅȌ̴͇̍Ţ̶͈̞̯́͛͆̆͝Ẽ̴̉̿̊͜C̸̦͍̈́͊̉̎T̷͉͇͙̠̤̎̅.̴̧̱̰͕̱̂͆͝ ̷̡̛̘̃͋Y̷̦̕O̸͍̣̹̞̿͝U̸̦̪̥̒ ̵̱̱̙̉͐̀̔Ơ̶̦̪̫͂̄͘͠Ǹ̷̡̞̫̖͂̿Ļ̴̘̦̌̀̇̒̔ͅÝ̴͙ ̵̧̝̂B̸̛̻̹̩͖̌́͆̃R̶͖̖̍̽͘Ḭ̸̓͊̾́̕N̷̡̲̖͕̒̽G̸̲̱̼̰̔̈͛̃͋ ̶͉̌̏͂̎Ỉ̴̱̺̝̈́L̸̨͛͐͆L̵̠̠͚̻̀̋͋̚͠ ̴̜̜͇͕̃Ó̵̩̟̪̘̇̂̚Ṁ̴̠͔̫̦̗Ē̵̡̛͓̰̩̤N̵̪͓̞͕̎͐̈́͋Ś̴͇̥̬̒̔.̵̪͎̜̦̎͗"

The Belphemon lunged at Hasenya, raising one clawed hand and bringing it down aiming to slash the poor fox into bits. Fortunately, what she lacked in sheer power she more than made up for in speed. Taking advantage of Flashfire Phantom to disappear while she dodged back. While the massive demon digimon was hunched over with its claws in the ground, Hasenya lunged forward and swiped her own claws across her doppelganger's eyes, causing them to recoil back in pain. The Renamon conjured a weapon, ready to deal another opportunistic strike when her clone came back at her with a conjured weapon of their own. And though Hasenya was able to block it, one thing shocked her. While her own weapon had shattered into pieces and gone up in smoke as normal for all her creations- Belphemon's didn't even show a hint of damage.
To an outside perspective this might not come as too great a surprise, given the sheer power most super mega's have- but Hasenya knew how her own abilities worked, and her other self had to as well, otherwise they might not be smiling at her like they had just told them their own worst secret. It took a lot to create weapons from nothing, even in Hasenya's case with her imperfect and highly fragile replicas. It wasn't something inherent she was born with, it was something she had trained unlike her affinity towards fire. It enraged her. How could an imperfect clone create perfect replicas while she could not?
Drawing another set of weapons, Hasenya continued to swing on the Belphemon. Creating weapon after weapon, breaking one after another against her doppelganger's weapon that maintained it's condition through her assault. Her efforts in trying to overwhelm the Belphemon were worthless, obvious- the power difference between the two was just too great, but the pink fox was far too angry to care. In the face of this perceived injustice, her temper had gone completely out the window to the point flames were starting to come off from random parts of her.
Hell, Belphemon had such an easy time with blocking that they had an opening to taunt and talk down to the poor gremlin. "You know why you can't be stronger or as strong as some of the rest of our family. You hold yourself back with useless things- you've got no confidence in yourself at all, you're pathetic." And the more she did this, the angrier Hasenya became seemingly without any upper limit to it. The Renamon was fighting through the obvious exhaustion that came with putting all her energy into anger, her strikes becoming more wild and sloppy while losing none of their power. If anything, they were only becoming stronger. It was no small secret to anyone that Hasenya had a temper to match her fire, though this was likely the angriest she had ever been. "Shut up, shut up shut up shut UP."

This creature was either holding back, much to it's detriment, or Mae was actually capable of hitting that hard. Regardless, it was faltering. However brief that window of an advantage had been, Mae was going to seize and abuse it like a broken stat system on a dead site. The Raguelmon dared to open her mouth again, yet before she could say a single word, Mae drew her arm back as the circle upon it began to rev up, before she thrust it forward to fire another Knowledge Stream.
This one actually did something, namely punch a hole right through the Raguelmon. Yet, despite all of this? It did not fade. It was still standing. Yet it remained unmoving. The Rasielmon could not concern herself with this right now, though. She turned to see how Hasenya was doing with the Belphemon, and...
Well, it was going about as well as you could expect a gremlin flailing against a bitch wall would.
"Bullshit!" Mae found herself barking out. "'Useless things?' That's just having a life! No confidence? If she didn't have any confidence, why the hell did she come here? I don't care if you're her, you don't TELL her any of that, you disgusting piece of demon garbage!"
...Was she trying to rile the Belphemon up into taking a swing at her? Maybe. The beast wasn't ensnared anymore...

The Belphemon just kept blocking and parrying until the fox eventually exhausted herself, at which point she raised a foot and shoved Hasenya back, allowing themselves a moment to turn to Mae without worrying about their other self getting free hits. "Do you even know what I'm talking about when I say useless things? I'm not telling myself to be some emotionless sociopath, that would just make more issues!" This vastly more edgy Hasenya defended themselves. Sometimes glancing towards Mae's other self when an opportunity allowed- this being the only indication they were planning something, if Mae could even catch it. "I'm talking about fear and that severe lack of confidence I mentioned. I shouldn't have to explain it in detail to you. That would defeat the point of forcing myself to figure it out! It's more simple than she's making it really. Either your little pet isn't brain-dead or she dies." Of course they were being purposefully vague to rile these two up.
Hasenya meanwhile was just sort of flopped down in the snow, panting from her exhaustion and trying to think of a way to beat her own ass. Mae's distraction helped, but she probably needed a better plan than wildly swinging until something worked. "You don't know anything about me." The Renamon grumbled, her other self acknowledging their statement with a glance before looking back at Mae. "That denial is why you're both going to die here. It shouldn't surprise me that my own skull isn't any less thick even after a beating." The Belphemon grinned, kind of like a bad comedian trying not to laugh at their own lame joke.
They were really trying to bank on the idea Mae wouldn't take the first swing while the state of their other self wasn't certain, and it wasn't like Hasenya could do much other than fight really dirty. Suffice to say, they felt pretty safe to go on with their dumb and crazy nonsense for a little bit.

The sly cat actually managed something! Though, it wasn't quite what she was aiming to do, she got the Belphemon to do the dumbest trick in the book! Monologuing! Mae opted to waste as little time as she could, flying towards the vastly edgier and probably way thirstier Hasenya with a hand balled up and tensed back. Of course, the image of a Raguelmon imposed itself over the Rasielmon before the sound of glass shattering had been heard, and where the hand was...
The claws of Raguelmon took its place. And the moment that Mae got close to the false Hasenya, she let that tensed up arm fly, aiming to rake her new and devastatingly toxic claws across and down from the Belphemon's face. "If we die here, then you're COMING WITH ME." The Ophanim hissed! If that was successful, she'd follow that up with a jab from her other arm right to that weird thing at Belphemon's center!
How would -this- end?
