Alright, now that we’re down to a proper sixteen person bracket, let’s show the crowd what our simulators can really do!
The Dark King’s Hall
As Amelie and Silence would find themselves transported to their arena, they would find their eyesight quickly adjusting to the dim, dusty light of the surrounding area. The floor below them was stable, made of a cold, stone brick. A few stones seemed loose, suggesting that this area had already seen a bit of bloodshed. The area itself was a large octagonal room, a good two hundred feet across. Each of the eight walls is adorned with two lit torches and a single mirror – surprisingly well polished, considering the age of the rest of the room. At the right angle, it was easy to see the opponent’s flanks and back side through each reflection. Hanging above is a single chandelier, large and ornate, a few pesky insects flickering about the only electrical light in the room. Visibility is at a premium, but the space is fairly open, and there’s little to get in the way of a direct fight!

Well, it seemed like Amelie's time to rest was over; unceremoniously, she had been thrust into a new battlefield; a simple, yet nonetheless interesting arena was her new battlefield. A colorful new set of rules would keep the fights from getting too stale, and most importantly~ A new opponent. A new puzzle to navigate in hopes of attaining victory or... on just having those crushed, more or less. Her name? Silence. For some reason, the brunette had that lingering sense of familiarity regarding her, but couldn't quite place why; not like she had time for indulging in such thoughts, anyway. Right away, her sight focused on her assumed position. "Let's have a good fight!" She announced cherfully while a ring of fractal code formed on her left hand. Maybe not the fittest words to begin a match, but it wasn't like Amy was too focused on those. Tracing a strategy to face an opponent whose potential she didn't know was at the forefront of her mind; that, and... getting used to a form that she had seldom, if ever used before. Enigmon H's massive frame incorporated from the spot Amelie had previously occupied, taking a couple of seconds to assess the environment through its new senses and pinpoint the location of its enemy. There she was; not a second afterward, a sizable projectile of foreign energy would race towards where Silence stood. Yeah, the attack had been a bit crude and unrefined, but it would serve to gauge what her opponent was capable of doing. Time to see how that would go.
Turn recap! —Amelie evolves to Enigmon H.
—Enigmon H uses Crawling Chaos, aiming at Silence's general direction.
*Crawling Chaos: A crude, yet arguably effective ability. A combination of energy from this digimon's tendrils combined with the residual goo from its body amass into a bombardment of foreign matter divided across a large area, or concentrated into a smaller one. This attack deals a significantly higher amount of damage to any good-aligned enemies. Cooldown: 2 posts. Keeping track of Ability stuff. —Cryptic Reclamation becomes replaced by Eldritch Lore. *Cryptic Reclamation [Passive Ability]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
*Eldritch Lore [Passive Ability]: This ability lets this digimon enhance an ability performed by itself or a willing ally, providing the following effects to it: the duration of the ability's secondary effects are lengthened by two posts, the ability can't be affected by opposing passives in any way and can't be blocked, cleansed or tampered with by enemies in any way. If applied to an ability that has a radius (like a field effect, for example), its radius is also doubled and the ability is also able to discern which targets to affect and which not to (at Heraldmon's discretion). This ability can't prolong the length of any stun, immobilize, sleep or any other form of hard disabling abilities.
—Stolen Memento becomes replaced by Martyrdom. *Stolen Memento [Passive Ability]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
*Martyrdom [Passive Ability]: For every two harmful attacks this digimon is subject to, all its active cooldowns are decreased by one post. If it actually gets in the way of an enemy attack going in an ally's way, these cooldowns are decreased by one post for each harmful attack that would reach her.
—Willful Desire becomes replaced by New Perspectives. *Willful Desire [Passive Ability - RAM Upgrade Giga]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
*New Perspectives [Passive Ability]: Once every three posts, this digimon can vanish briefly, then reappear at a nearby location, almost as if space itself had folded to its whims. This can be used to set up attacks or get out of harm's way more efficiently.
—Eldritch Harvest becomes replaced by Crawling Chaos. *Eldritch Harvest: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
*Crawling Chaos: A crude, yet arguably effective ability. A combination of energy from this digimon's tendrils combined with the residual goo from its body amass into a bombardment of foreign matter divided across a large area, or concentrated into a smaller one. —Esoteric Recall becomes replaced by Psalm. *Esoteric Recall: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
*Psalm: A shockwave is unleashed in the wake of the digimon's attack. Deals a high amount of damage to the first target it hits. If it fails to damage an enemy, however, Enigmon H can choose to recover an amount of health equal to half the damage this attack would have dealt. Cooldown: 3 posts.
—Surreal Memoir becomes replaced by The Queen in Purple. *Surreal Memoir: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
*The Queen in Purple: Almost as if it were divine providence, the sky above splits to make way to a spark of pure, unadulterated power. It descends in the blink of an eye, causing nothing short of catastrophic damage in a small area. Anyone afflicted by this ability is driven temporarily insane, either injuring themselves or their closest ally with an ability of this digimon's choice, as long as she has knowledge of it (random otherwise). It can't manipulate anyone into using once per thread abilities. Duration: 1 post. Cooldown: once per thread. 3 posts if it fails to damage any digimon or human.
*Eldritch Lore has been active for 1 post. *Martyrdom has been active for 1 post. *New Perspectives has been active for 1 post. *Crawling Chaos has been active for 1 post. *Psalm has been active for 1 post. *The Queen in Purple has been active for 1 post. *Crawling Chaos's remaining cooldown: 0/2 posts. This can be used to set up attacks or get out of harm's way more efficiently. ——Reprocess: Drawing energy from nearby sources, this digimon can gain sustenance and progressively heal its wounds over the course of time, growing stronger in the posts when it's not receiving damage. Can have the side effect of deteriorating the environment in bouts of voraciousness. —Active Abilities ——Crawling Chaos: A crude, yet arguably effective ability. A combination of energy from this digimon's tendrils combined with the residual goo from its body amass into a bombardment of foreign matter divided across a large area, or concentrated into a smaller one. Cooldown: 3 posts. ——Reality Hemorrhage: Reality warps and bends around this digimon, changing the perception of its own self and its opponent. The next time this digimon would receive damage, whoever caused that damage is subject to the same amount of damage. Duration: up to 5 posts. Cooldown: 2 posts. ——The Queen in Purple: Almost as if it were divine providence, the sky above splits to make way to a spark of pure, unadulterated power. The time for lazing about, drinking her fair share of liquor was over. She had only a few drinks; nothing that would affect her ability to fight considering the sheer amount that she was capable of ingesting without an issue. This would be Silence's first proper fight, the first round of the tournament already over. Those that lost thinking over as the whys and hows elsewhere. What they could do better, when they could do better. Silence envied them a little bit to be honest, being able to taste battle so quickly. In this new area silence had naught but a moment to look about, getting a feel for her new location. It was wide, open and had a lot of mirrors. Breaking mirrors was something most considered unlucky but to silence they were just... panes of reflective glass. The human that was her opponent was the last thing that silence's eyes fell upon; she wasn't exactly sure how she felt about fighting a spirit wielder from the get go. Dead and gone digimon being 'used' as a fighter by an outside force? Something some would find strange but to silence it gave her a new foe that one likely wouldn't of fought before. She felt her fur across her body shift and shiver at the idea of fighting some long dead digimon that was gone to the world. She'd pound her fists together and give Amelie a big ol' grin. "Yeah! Show me whatcha got! Don't be holding back now or we'll regret it in the end!"Her part said the shutmon ran her hands along her forearms and her own data split in an brilliant flash of light. Only amplified by the mirrors; hell the both of them probably made the camera's blank out considering right? The shutmon didn't grow all too much from her digivolution, maybe a few extra feet and rather than leather armor she had something more akin to the steel of the digital world. Though her entire body wasn't covered by the stuff, the black furred raguelmon had a moment to flex her claws. Tense herself for the battle ready to come. Honestly her mega forms were the least practiced out of everything. Her eyes locked onto the Enigmon H's massive frame. The digimon letting out a small whistle at it. "A biggun! If we had more room I'd use something else!"The raguelmon let out a small cackling laugh and slammed it's hands together. Gathering a large amount of energy within herself. Honestly the first attack usually was the hardest hitting or the one that gave people the edge. But for this? She'd use the fact that amelie had opened up with a ranged attack rather than try to close to give herself enough time to gather energy. Sure she'd get hit by this attack, sure it'd probably hurt a lot but... Well there wasn't a really good time to use it unless she made a opening of some kind! Though she severly underestimated the power of Crawling chaos; Unaware of the attacks nature against good aligned individuals. She grunted as she was tossed backwards against the wall with an audible 'ooph!'. That really smarted and she could feel the pain of such an attack across her frame. Something to keep in mind for when the other used it again; if she could use it again. The raguelmon grunting as she thumped her chest; she could feel the pain from the move across her frame. "F-fah! That fuckin smarts!"But to her, taking that straight to the face meant that her form was charged with lightning. The little arcs of energy from her ability crackling and dancing off of her form. Her body jittering in place and the lightning about her form danced as it was getting place to place. Log-Silence digivolved to Raguelmon! -Silence used Cloak of Judgement-Silence took Crawling Chaos to the face, unaware of it's nature. Ow. Passives: Charge: For each empowered basic attack or Lightning based move, this digimon builds up a stack of charge. Upon three charges this digimon may release an explosive bolt of lightning dealing high damage to a single target. While there is no cool down on this move it requires others to operate. A target must be within a hundred feet. This digimon doesn't lose charge but must hit a digimon to gain charge.
Voltic Core: This digimon can absorb electricity that it hasn't produced to heal itself. Whether from environment or from moves; moves that would damage it heal it by half instead while the environment if given a constant surge heals it by a medium amount per turn until fully healed. Move: Cloak of Judgement: This digimon gathers a massive amount of energy within itself for a single post. This makes its body erratic and jittery as electrical energy arcs off of it. At the end of this charging period this digimon has a cloak of energy around it's entire form. This allows it to move faster, hit harder and any attacks that miss rebound back to the owner providing half of a charge. This ability lasts for three posts and has a cool down of three posts. Can only be used three times in a thread. Durations: COJ:[0/3] Cooldown: Cloak of Judgement[0/3][Hasn't started yet] Charges: [0/3]

Honestly? It was a pity that Amelie's spirit forms couldn't see nor hear. Otherwise, she'd have replied Silence's comments in kind; right now, for Enigmon H, only action remained. What did that mean? It meant to strike while the iron was still hot. The aberration could perceive the amount of energy that the newly-minted Raguelmon was amassing; a long-term investment of sorts, for sure. Whether an attack with wind-up or something worse, it meant that this was an opportunity to be seized before it was too late. Luckily, a plan was concocted posthaste. Given the fact that they were inside an enclosed space, the sky forewarn the oncoming strike. On an instant, a bolt of pure eldritch energy descended from the skies straight to Silence's location. Stone and furniture alike outright ceased to be at the contact point. And if Silence hadn't been fast enough, such an attack would deal tremendous damage to her as well. That hadn't been everything, however. Soon afterward, Enigmon dashed forward, fully intending to close the gap between itself and its opponent; once that happened, she'd try to smash into the Raguelmon with its enormous forelimbs. Whether effective or not, Silence would find soon enough that the direct component of that attack was the least of her worries. A massive shockwave and a flaming tornado had been created from the impact point, both intending to damage her even further. Quite the show. This free card gimmick thing had the potential of being really powerful. Then again, that had been the most powerful card at their disposal, and something Silence had access to as well.
Turn recap! —Enigmon H uses The Queen in Purple.
—Then tries to close the gap between itself and Silence.
—Gains an additional attack due to Slip Through Time.
—And then proceeds to try and maul her with a combination of Psalm and Holy Flame (Magnadramon).
*Slip Through Time [Passive Ability]: Bending the laws of time, this digimon can attack twice per post every two posts.
Keeping track of Ability stuff. *Eldritch Lore has been active for 2 posts. *Martyrdom has been active for 2 posts. *New Perspectives has been active for 2 posts. *Crawling Chaos has been active for 2 posts. *Psalm has been active for 2 posts. *The Queen in Purple has been active for 2 posts. *Crawling Chaos's remaining cooldown: 1/2 posts. *Psalm's remaining cooldown: 0/3 posts. *The Queen in Purple's remaining cooldown: 0/3? posts.
Used Cards: Magnadramon.

Silence was a little miffed to say the least that she didn't get anything back from the other. Then again how the hell would they even talk? She wanted to know more about this form, she wanted to know how it worked. How it fought. Things she would get to experience first hand. Something new like this well... She'd shift to one side and tilt her head, she could tell that they did something. Something that the raguelmon couldn't see. Was it internal? She remained poised, ready to go. But everywhere she looked she didn't see anything. Silence felt uneasy, uncertain for a moment. What did they do? Then it struck, like a god throwing it's own bolt at her the raguelmon was engulfed in the spark of power that was the queen in purple. She felt her mind go hazy, her breath grow smokey from her body getting even more blackened from the sheer power that she was subject from. Her own body reacted in madness, in the moment it struck herself with that of the cards she had. A small cursor slamming into her side, it wasn't really strong to say the least but it did enough to where she hopped to one side. Clenching her teeth together the raguelmon's eyes came back from the back of her head. She didn't even notice that they had rolled. This one had bite. This one had vigor. This one could satisfy her desire to fight. But if she took another hit like that it would be over, she wouldn't have the ability to keep moving. The raguelmon let out a roar of challenge slamming her hands together as she kicked off of the ground. This room was bloody well huge and she was going to use that to her advantage. Sure she wasn't able to avoid Psalm's shock wave but the raguelmon was able to avoid the use of that holy flame. She tumbled through the air, her wings flapping in effort. Honestly these little bastards were a lot stronger than they looked. She'd draw her hands open, a length of lightning dancing from her fingers into that of a javelin. Her eyes locking onto the one in front of her and with a grunt of effort she'd throw it with all her might. She felt the javelin kick off of her body, aiming to slam dead center to the other's body. It was stronger than normal but the other wouldn't know that, she was faster than normal. But they wouldn't know that. They didn't have the comparison and if she could she wouldn't give them the chance. Would this form work against this other? They had slammed her with three attacks of their own already and they had barely just begun. Just who was her tourney opponant to have such a power? "...and why haven't we met before.."The raguelmon questioned, you would think you'd hear about someone like this. Someone with this incredible power. A power that reminded her that she still had room to grow as a person and as a warrior. The raguelmon roared out, her claws extending and a laugh that lived in the moment came from her armored chest. "SHOW ME EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TO OFFER. THIS IS WHAT WE LIVE FOR! WHAT WE WERE MADE FOR!" Log: -Silence took The queen in purple, suffering quite a bit of damage. -Silence was able to avoid Magnadramon's card use but not Psalm. Quite a bit of damage for just a single round of combat! Passives: Charge: For each empowered basic attack or Lightning based move, this digimon builds up a stack of charge. Upon three charges this digimon may release an explosive bolt of lightning dealing high damage to a single target. While there is no cool down on this move it requires others to operate. Whether from environment or from moves; moves that would damage it heal it by half instead while the environment if given a constant surge heals it by a medium amount per turn until fully healed. Move: Lightning Javelin: This digimon cups it's hands together and draws out a long thin Javelin made of it's own energy. It can throw this projectile accurately up to a mile away if it has line of sight of it's target. Deals high single target damage and can cause burns to uncovered flesh. Three post cool down. Active effects: Cloak of Judgement: This digimon gathers a massive amount of energy within itself for a single post. This makes its body erratic and jittery as electrical energy arcs off of it. At the end of this charging period this digimon has a cloak of energy around it's entire form. That had been... effective. Surprisingly enough, the attack had hit Silence dead on its mark, and while its subsequent side effect hadn't been all that impressive, that was expected considering how much of roulette roll the whole deal had been. But that mattered not; the attack still had an amount of raw power that was hard to compare, and for Amelie, that was enough of a victory; especially when combined with a subsequent that had been effective as well. Silence being able to dodge the third and last one due to her sudden surge of speed was more than a reasonable expectation, however. Things were getting interesting! Once again, Enigmon H didn't react to Silence's words; such a thing was all but impossible for it, sadly enough. A boon in disguise, considering that the digimon needed every ounce of its concentration to keep pace at the mega level. Having access to such a high amount of power for the first time was exhilarating, yet a constant reminder of what its enemy could be capable of doing. Case in point? The amount of electricity the Raguelmon was forming in between her hands was nothing short of terrifying. A fearsome attack at point-blank range wasn't good news for Enigmon, but there wasn't a lot it could do react; the javelin struck the aberration dead-on; the sound of thunder clashing against the foreign matter that made the digimon's body and the faint smell of sizzling tissue followed right afterward. That had been quite damaging, but nothing less was expected from somebody who had spent a good deal of time preparing to act. Tendrils spasmed whilst the monster regained its footing, all its body going on an overdrive in the wake of the attack. To a casual observer, one would say that it had grown stronger in the wake of it, but that was just a clever ruse to hopefully deceive its opponent. It was true that Enigmon H had gained a major power boost —maybe putting it on par with Silence—, but it wasn't due to the attack received. From one moment to the next, its body was enveloped in electricity before it concentrated on one of its upper limbs that was then lowered at an amazing speed, its intent to smash the Raguelmon into the ground. For now, it seemed like no fighter had a clear advantage, even though it was kind of hard to tell when that'll change. As of right now, things were only starting to get interesting!
Turn recap! —Enigmon gets hit by Lightning Javelin. It uses Assimilate on it, temporarily adding it to her 'Known Ability List'.
—Uses Eldritch Lore in conjunction with Warping Surge, extending its duration by 2 posts.
—And then proceeds to try to attack her using Thunder Fist (Beetlemon).
*Assimilate [Passive Ability]: This digimon gains perfect understanding of the effects of any attack that it would be subject of. It can use this knowledge to fuel some of its other abilities (notably, Surreal Memoir). The total number of foreign abilities it can remember at a time per form (using this or any other means) varies according to its level, starting at one passive and one active at Rookie/Child, two at Champion/Adult and so on.
*Warping Surge: This ability is only usable after one of this digimon's attacks has been dodged/blocked/avoided. While this effect lasts Enigmon H's power and speed double and can't be reduced by outside sources, including abilities that would render it unable to move. Duration: 3 posts. Cooldown: 3 posts. Keeping track of Ability stuff. *Eldritch Lore has been active for 3 posts. *Martyrdom has been active for 3 posts. *New Perspectives has been active for 3 posts. *Crawling Chaos has been active for 3 posts. *Psalm has been active for 3 posts. *The Queen in Purple has been active for 3 posts. *Crawling Chaos's remaining cooldown: 2/2 posts. *Psalm's remaining cooldown: 1/3 posts. *Warping Surge's duration: 1/5 posts. *Martyrdom's hit count: 1.
Used Cards: Magnadramon, Beetlemon.

So far this fight was raw, powerful. Feeling like her opponent was giving their all while silence felt like she had barely made a dent against the Enigmon H. The raguelmon's eyes flashed dangerously and she'd dance through the air. Watching the other curiously; there had to be a general opening that she could use against this creature. A being she had never met before, in this life or the last. There was no tingle in the back of her head; there was no real certainty. But what felt certain to her was that if she kept pushing she could win. She could win if she kept on going and kept on landing hits like that of her javelin. She felt the charge within her body respond to that, a succulent amount of power that was intoxicating to all but the most steeled of minds. Giving her a right soft chuckle, somewhere between predatory and a lust for more. Her claws creaked and well... She wanted to hit this thing with everything she had, every little ounce of her powers she wanted to slam into it again and again. She wanted to fight this thing so badly and so far this fight had been pulling her deeper and deeper into it. But then something strange happened, the monster spasmed. A potential opening perhaps? No. That would be too simple. The raguelmon's eyes hardened and just as she looked to move to one side the Enigmon chose that time to strike. The creature's speed increased, they were certainly on par which was a bad thing. Silence grunted as she was smashed into the ground, the physical nature of the strike hurting but... The electricity? It was being sucked in by the raguelmon's body like a greedy tick. Everything and anything of that was pushed into her body. Soothing the wounds from earlier like lip balm to seared lips. She'd hiss out in pain, grunting as she could feel her ribs complain. She was pretty sure that the strike from the Enigmon broke a couple even through the armored form of Raguelmon. But the problem here was now that Enigmon was directly next to her. Directly next. To her. Her hands clenched together and without even hesitating she'd slam them downwards. Not even caring that she was underfoot of this beast. Her body was electrically charged as it was; but the thing here was that El-thor was already a doozy. But that also made her wonder how hard a card would hit that it too was electricity. Her body sent out a localized super nova of pure electricity. Intent on dancing along the frame of Enigmon-H. Hopefully distracting it from the lighting bolts that it summoned with the same motion; intent on slamming into the beast from both above and below! Log: -Silence took Beetlemon's card effect, the physical portion dealing a good amount of damage while the electric portion heals her because of Voltic core. -Silence uses El-Thor and Cherubimon: Storm Judgement in the same motion. Hoping to mask the latter with the former. Passive: Charge: For each empowered basic attack or Lightning based move, this digimon builds up a stack of charge.
Move: El-Thor: This digimon slams it's fists into the ground sending out a super nova of lightning all around it. This lightning bounces and twists through metal objects; conducting through them rending their forms in twain. Metal wearing individuals will find their items super hot and burning at the touch. Robotic digimon, armor clad digimon or those with metallic weapons will find the damage to them is immense. This move can be negated through grounding oneself in some fashion or another. Three post cool down. Range of 50 feet. Duration: COJ:[2/3] Cooldown: COJ[0/3] El-Thor [0/3] Charges: [1/3] Cards used: Dogatchamon VB-14 Card Name: Cherubimon Type: Digimon Rank: Platinum Duration: 1 Post Storm Judgement: The target Digimon summons lightning bolts from the sky to smite their foes with.

Things were getting more intense with each passing second; by now, this fight felt as two opponents throwing their most potent moves at each other and hoping they'd be good enough to bring the other down before they gave up. And... both looked like they wouldn't give up any time soon. Enigmon H noticed how the electricity that its attack had gained due to Beetlemon's card hadn't quite been damaging to the Raguelmon; all the opposite, actually. Could it be that, due to the digimon's own electrical affinity, she was also a living lighting rod of sorts? It wasn't out of the realm of possibility; mega levels could have a very wide variety of whacky abilities. Enigmon itself was a living testament to that. Who was winning? Who had the upper hand? Who would be able to press on for the longest? Those were questions that would remain unanswered for now; or maybe not. If Amelie didn't keep her mind in the fight, she was going to lose for sure; it wouldn't surprise her if the resolution of this one was due to the smallest of advantages. Being at melee range from such a dangerous enemy could prove disastrous; the sheer amount of unbridled power that Silence's form was amassing was nothing short of amazing... and deadly. El-Thor was, by all means and purposes, a beautiful ability to behold even for somebody lacking most basic senses. At first, Enigmon tried to use its enhanced speed to outrun the energy nova, but that proved to be in vain; it reached its form, and God, Amelie was glad Enigmon couldn't feel pain. The aberrations body writhed under the stress of the attack, overloading its muscles and instantly burning a good portion of its body. That had been bad. Very bad; however, Amelie's mind remained clear. The damage Enigmon H had sustained had undoubtedly reduced the form's maneuverability, it still had a lot of fight to give. In fact, in an amazing display of agility, the abomination managed to evade the thunderbolts that rained from both above and below, increasing the distance that separated itself from Silence while amassing another foul projectile within its tendrils; with a single motion, the amalgam of foreign matter was sent in its opponent direction at an amazing speed; yet, that wouldn't be everything going in Silence's way. Sneakily, a portal was opened below the aberration, making the illusion of a pretty amazing disappearing act. Where would it reappear? In a move that'd make a lot of anime characters proud, it was right behind the Raguelmon What followed was a lightning-fast, brutal stab. Despite its simple and unassuming appearance, there was more power there what the Enigmon variant had ever displayed before, The Queen in Purple included. Amelie wasn't going to lie; even if the thing missed, being able to use that for the first time ever was an intoxicating sensation. Once everything was said and done, she would sure thank Silence for being such a marvelous opponent. As the two continued their face-off, the environment around them began to slowly degrade. Nothing worthy of immediate worry, but still worth noting.
Turn recap! —Enigmon tries to get away from Silence, but still manages to get hit by El-Thor. It uses Assimilate on it, temporarily adding it to her 'Known Ability List'.
—Since this is the second ability that has hit it this fight, all her cooldowns get lowered by 1 due to Martyrdom.
—Avoids Storm Judgment.
—Attacks Silence with Crawling Chaos.
—Uses Deep Dive (DoGatchmon) in order to 'teleport' behind Silence.
—Gains an additional attack due to Slip Through Time.
—Then attacks Silence again using Slaughter.
—Finally, it regains some health due to Reprocess.
*Martyrdom: [Passive Ability]: For every two harmful attacks this digimon is subject to, all her active cooldowns are decreased by one post. If she actually gets in the way of an enemy attack going in an ally's way, these cooldowns are decreased by one post for each harmful attack that would reach her.
*Slaughter: In an attempt at finishing an opponent off, Enigmon H tries to brutally impale them, dealing damage equal to twice the total amount of damage they've received since the fight began. Damage that was healed still counts for this ability's purposes. This move ignores any and all defensive measures that may be used against it, and, if successful at defeating an opponent, it negates any kind of ability that may bring them back to fighting shape. Cooldown: Once per thread. 5 posts if it fails to hit its intended target.
*Reprocess [Passive Ability] Drawing energy from nearby sources, this digimon can gain sustenance and progressively heal its wounds over the course of time, growing stronger in the posts when it's not receiving damage. Can have the side effect of deteriorating the environment in bouts of voraciousness. Keeping track of Ability stuff. —Stolen Memento changes from Martyrdom to Reprocess. *Stolen Memento [Passive Ability]: This ability can be replaced by any passive ability this digimon has learned about. When this ability changes, it must remain active for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
*Reprocess has been active for 1 post. *Crawling Chaos's remaining cooldown: 0/2 posts. *Psalm's remaining cooldown: 3/3 posts. *Warping Surge's duration: 2/5 posts. *Slaughter's remaining cooldown: 0/5? posts.
Used Cards: Magnadramon, Beetlemon, DoGatchmon.

The raguelmon's eyes shimmered a bit as she stared up at the individual that had slammed her into the ground. She was grateful for the healing that she had gotten from that attack. But now? Well there was more questions in the air that she wasn't sure about. But there wasn't much time to really think about them as El-Thor did it's work. It was a severely damaging ability and Silence felt a bit of pride roll through her core as she saw the enigmon take it in full. Writhing and overloading muscles giving her a hint of the damage she caused. There was a grin that spread across her face and she wheezed as she felt those ribs complain as she drew breath. She had to get ready and her body was poised for action. Her feet gaining the much needed friction against the ground as she saw the Enigmon throw another foul projectile her way. If it was anything like the first attack it'd be problematic. That thing hurt a lot and she was already hurting from the constant wailing of this opponent. Gritting her teeth she considered what would come from it if she was hit by that. The raguelmon was of course not going to be subject to another one of those. She'd likely stagger out and fall to a knee if she took that thing. So she'd dance out of the way, using her enhanced speed to avoid the attack that hurt so badly the first time around. But after the fact her opponant was no where to be seen. It took only a moment for her to process the fact, and with the mirror she got to see it re-appear. She had a second to act, and in that second she used her only defensive card. Infermon. She knew whatever what was coming was going to be nasty, you don't just appear behind your opponent like that! Then the raguelmon whirled her claws raising to strike, but alas it wasn't fast enough to avoid slaughter. It'd punch through her chest and the raguelmon felt her entire body shudder as it was subject to the sheer amount of damage. She'd cough up blood into her facemask. Her body twisting and turning as she felt that tendril still in her chest. She felt her core visibly thump; her body felt weak and she'd stagger back. Gripping at her chest. Wordlessly the raguelmon fell to her knees then to her face. For all of a brief moment all that was heard was the harsh breathing from her body. But then her body, as damage as it was took on the brilliant light of digivolution once again. Her form grew and grew, twisting and warping as it's upper body slammed into the ceiling. It grew twice over, thrice over. It's body absolutely massive in comparison to the raguelmon that was the opponent beforehand. The massive hole in it's chest contained the beating heart that was the core of the digimon but the rest of it's body was heavily armored. The stark white scales of Huanglongmon making it's appearance. With a brutal roar the dragon stepped forward, challenging the creature in front of her. Sure silence seemed to be on her last legs, especially with the hole in her god damn chest. But the Enigmon-H would literally have to rip her limb from limb to stop her from fighting. Log: -Silence evaded Crawling chaos but... -Was largerly unable to avoid slaughter, thanks to the mirrors dotting the room she was given enought time to react to use Infermon card! -Silence took: High, Catastrophic, High, DoGatchamon, beetlemon x2 -She is very much so on her last legs. -Silence Slide digivolved from Raguelmon to Huanglongmon-For reference, Silencec's haunglongmon is 30 feet tall at the shoulderPassive: Combat Passive|Abandoned Scales: This digimon takes reduced damage from all sources and reduces damage dealt of allies standing within fifty feet of this digimon by a light amount.
Combat Passive|Pale Horse: This digimon moves quicker than most of it's cousins; enjoying a large boost to it's speed but lowered attack power. Move: Digivolved this turn. Cooldowns: COJ: [0/3] El-Thor[1/3] Card used: Dogatchamon, Cherubimon ME-10 Card Name: Infermon Type: Digimon Rank: Gold Duration: 1 Post Raised Status: The target Digimon's exterior becomes more solid than before, raising defense briefly.

Amelie knew that this sensation in the back of her mind wasn't quite healthy, but she also had to admit that opening a hole in her foe's chest felt damn satisfying. However, it wasn't like she'd let her spirit form lower its guard just now, after coming so far, losing due to overconfidence would be the greatest and most tragic pitfall she could experiment. Enigmon H began feasting to the data of everything around it, rapidly increasing the pace at which its body regenerated; and while it was true that, right now, only surface-level wounds would be healed, if given enough time alone, a more thorough healing process would begin. Silence, however, had used those moments to change her form, taking the visage of gigantic dragon, easily bigger than Enigmon due to her sheer size. That... was actually exciting! From her previous sleek, yet muscular appearance, the now-Huanglongmon was a solidly built, scaly behemoth, and she seemed like she was ready to rumble. Enigmon H's body tensed at the new presence, and while Amelie's more rational mindset urged her to remain in this form and stand her ground against Huanglongmon, there was this more basic urge. This show of instinct that urged her to match her foe. To get on her level. Lest to say, that compulsion eventually overrode reason, and the bright light of evolution enveloped Enigmon H's. Its body grew, even if became more and more formless as it did so. Enigmon H's form reverted to... well, Enigmon proper. As limbs sprouted and expanded from its core, its size managed to evenly match Huanglongmon. If a fight between giants is what Silence wanted, that's exactly what she would get. Not losing a moment after the transformation was complete, flames enveloped the digimon's body as it launched itself towards Silence, fully meaning to ram her.
Turn recap! —Enigmon H regains some health due to Reprocess. It didn't receive damage this round, that amount is more than normal.
—Enigmon H slide evolves to Enigmon.
—Due to its slide evolution, Warping Surge ends abruptly.
—Then it uses Wing Blade (Garudamon) on Silence.

Haggard breathing, chest hurting/ She could feel her world growing dark; her body struggling. Her core pulsing; every moment felt like a twisting agonizing sensation that she couldn't get past. But in the light of that she also never felt more alive. The creature that had speared her through the chest bringing out a primal desire of challenge. Another roar sounded from the stark white huanglongmon's throat. Trailing off as the Enigmon's body shifted. The bright light of digivolution had the many eyes Silence possessed locked even more so on her target. The Huanglongmon snarled as the transformation finished, her opponant not waiting at all as to not give her time to recover. The huanglongmon roared out again. And between the two combatants? Well she'd summon something very specific. Something deep from within her data that she had the barest hint of recollection about having. The massive set of gates slamming down in-between the two of them. It'd take a moment for the doors to start actually opening but by that time the huanlongmon would without hesitation dive into her side of the gates. Tumbling out into the realm of this staticky white and black mess. The area behind the gate of destiny was certainly something to behold. Visibly, mentally, energy wise... The Huanlongmon righted itself with a huff. And if it's opponent was unfortunate enough to tumble in along with her? Her mouth opened up and a tornado spout danced out, looking for her target. Even if it didn't find it, the crazed dragon would use it anyways just in case. The whirling dervish of flame and wind hopefully tearing her target apart bit by bit! Log: -Silence uses Gate of Judgement between her and Amelie to avoid the other's attack. Entering in regardless if her opponent does or not. -Silence uses Magnadramon: Holy flame. Passive: Combat Passive|Abandoned Scales: This digimon takes reduced damage from all sources and reduces damage dealt of allies standing within fifty feet of this digimon by a light amount.
Combat Passive|Pale Horse: This digimon moves quicker than most of it's cousins; enjoying a large boost to it's speed but lowered attack power. Move: Gate of Destiny|Loaded Move: This digimon can summon a massive set of gates, easily large enough to even allow an examon to pass through them with a relative ease. Once the gate's doors are open [during combat] an intense surge of air attempts to draw in any hostile opponent within fifty meters into the gates. Within these gates lay a realm of impossibility, varying time to time. This realm is a black and white grainy staticky mess. Lightning crawls through the clouds, providing the perpetual darkness of the realm with light. Within this realm an opponent finds their form attacked by the very energies of this place. Dealing a large constant amount of damage every post. At the end of the duration individuals still within it will be shunted out to the same location they entered in. Outside of combat this move can be used for transit from place to place using the realm as a midpoint. Those that would be considered an ally or those using this move are not harmed by the energies of the realm they are drawn into. Once per thread. Three post duration. The user of this move must enter if others do, regardless of affiliation. Cooldowns: COJ: [1/3] El-Thor: [2/3] Card used: Dogatchamon, Cherubimon, Infermon, WG-18 Card Name: Magnadramon Type: Digimon Rank: Chrome Digizoid Duration: 1 Post Holy Flame: The target Digimon spits a tornado from its mouth, then wraps it in cleansing fire.

However, the fight wasn't over just yet. It seemed like the Huanglongmon was willing to fight until her body was gave up, and that was definitely Amelie could respect. The intensity of this fight was nothing short of exhilarating, and at least on what regards to her, she wished they could just keep on going like this; one could say that it was borderline addicting. Those thoughts would be pushed to the back of her mind as soon as she crossed The Gate of Destiny and found herself in... quite the interesting place. Even if Enigmon couldn't quite perceive the totality of the new battlefield it shared with Silence, it noted how the... whole place had deemed the aberration as it found, and was beginning to assault it with a constant barrage of energy, this one combined with with the same flaming tornado that had the abomination itself had invoked in the past. That was... quite painful; this battlefield definitely didn't favor one of its combatants, that much was obvious. Enigmon's body writhed under the barrage of attacks; each time, fully recovering and becoming operational again took longer and longer. Wonder if its body would just eventually... give up? Better to not think about it, especially when the fight was still raging! A thick tendril reached into the matter that made the dimension's ground. What had this new environment to offer, and how much it could be modified to even the fight? While it was true that this ability was a powerful one indeed, it wasn't infallible, and while it'd still damage Enigmon, the same would apply to Silence now. Fair enough, right? With that taken care of, electricity began to arc between the rest of the aberration's body; Silence herself would probably be familiar with was about to happen, given that she had employed that same ability moments prior; that's right, no more and no less than El-Thor. After Enigmon slammed its tendrils into the ground, the energy nova that ensued was not as fearsome as Silence's, given the absence of any boosting abilities, but that didn't mean it wasn't an amazing show nonethless. Regardless of the outcome of that attack, the residual electricity would form another arc in between two of the digimon's limbs, forming a spear that was promptly hurled at Silence right afterward. No doubt, an electrifying turn of events.
Turn recap! —Enigmon regains some health due to Reprocess.
—Enigmon gets sucked into the Gate of Judgment.
—Gets hit by Holy Fire.
—And gets hit by the energies inside the Gate of Judgment as well.
—It uses Adverse Conditions on Gate of Judgment. From now on, Gate of Judgment's energy will damage both combatants.
—Gains an additional attack due to Slip Through Time.
—Finally, it uses El-Thor, quickly followed by Lightning Spear (Cherubimon) on Silence.
*Adverse Conditions [RAM Upgrade]: This ability can only target an ongoing or persisting effect in an area or the environment. Enigmon can manipulate that ongoing effect by subtracting any of its effects or changing who are supposed to be affected by any of the ability's components. The changed ability can't be canceled until its full duration has run its course. Cooldown: 3 posts.
*El-Thor: This digimon slams its limbs into the ground sending out a super nova of lightning all around it. This place was a twisted reminder of the power that her prior iteration had; a power that she had yet to fully unlock. A power that given time would be something she would have on her own, not from the being before her. But that was something in the heat of battle was forgotten. Her body felt numb, her legs felt cold, her breath was catching in her chest. The steady gushing of data from the large hole in her chest was making it difficult to think super clearly. The first attack was something she couldn't even avoid, she felt it numbing her body. Twisting it and crushing it bit by bit. She could feel it tear at every portion of her already weakened body; her stark white scales unable to do anything against the encroaching nature of this place. It hurt every single portion of her, her already straining core strained further and yet? Even with the burning twisting sensation of pain throughout her entire being tore at... She laughed. She laughed so hard that she felt like she would pass out. She felt that El-Thor blast into her scales, she felt it melt away great swaths of her scales. She felt it trouble her core further, the very heart of her body frantic. But even among all that she stood strong. Her breath coming out in short bursts. In any sane moment the dragon would of asked how she did that, would of asked amelie how she used an ability that was clearly not her own. But the laughter didn't stop. It was a rolling bellowing sound that the vibrations simply traveled through the ground. The warning that followed along with it was likely lost to the other mon. Then again why would it matter? There were no allies here to warn of the forth-coming attack. The dragon felt the next attack punch through her head. Causing her to reel, half of her vision went red and the dragon coughed up another gout of digital blood. She felt the time was close. There was only so much that this body could take and it was steadily approaching that. Had she been at peak condition in this at the start perhaps she'd be moving swiftly. The lightning bolt had taken a good chunk of the huanglongmon's face, tearing across it and destroying about a good half of her eyes on one side. But she didn't need to see very well to use her tail in a large sweeping motion. Her intent was to catch it in the side at an angle, hopefully forcing it to stagger or get slammed into the ground! Her time was close and absolution was near... Log: -Silence took the Damage from Gate of destiny, further damaging her already wracked frame. -El-thor chunked through a good portion of her remaining vigor, but dear god she's still standing in fact she seems to be laughing?! -Silence took the cherubimon to the face, destroying the eyes on the right portion of her head. She's not fast enough to dodge lightning point blank after all! Especially not with a body as maimed as she is. -Silence used the card: Beetlemon Passive: Combat Passive|Abandoned Scales: This digimon takes reduced damage from all sources and reduces damage dealt of allies standing within fifty feet of this digimon by a light amount.
Combat Passive|Pale Horse: This digimon moves quicker than most of it's cousins; enjoying a large boost to it's speed but lowered attack power. Right now, Enigmon was focused on surviving through the unstable dimension that was the insides of the Gate of Judgment; while Amelie had been subject to hostile environments in the past, this one was the harshest one she had seen by far. While it was true that the digimon's stay in this place would be relatively short, it was also true that the mere act of existing in this parallel dimension was enough to cause a constant high amount of damage to the aberration's body. Ultimately, Amelie deemed an offensive advance in such conditions would be akin to surrendering the fight, and for now, she harnessed her forms into taking the conservative approach. While its battered body wasn't fast enough to avoid Silence's sweeping tail, at least the damage hadn't been as great in comparison to Raguelmon's might. Still, standing up after each time got harder and harder; applying a palliative measure made Enigmon's body more compliant, but how long would that last? That was one question that Amelie didn't want to ask herself; as long as this body could press on, she would press on. After its body reconstituted, but before the aberration regained its footing, a thick firebolt was expelled from one of its tendrils. It wasn't a very damaging attack, considering that this was the weakest card it had been given, but hey. Every bit counted, even if it was just a distraction for Enigmon to fully incorporate.
Turn recap! —Enigmon regains some health due to Reprocess.
—And gets hit by the energies inside the Gate of Judgment.
—Gets hit by Thunder Fist.
—Uses Lay On Hands to regain some health.
—And then uses Corona Flame (Coronamon).
*Lay On Hands: This digimon's limbs glow with faint, pink light as she places them along the wounds of an injured being. Ends up healing some (25%) of the target's wounds. Cooldown: 3 posts.
Relevant passives: *Warped Feedback [Passive Ability]: Despite its usual and relatively harmless constitution, Enigmon's body has the ability to temporarily alter the data makeshift of anything it touches. Upon striking or being struck by an attack and for one post afterward, if the digimon who came in contact with Enigmon would be healed or regain health in any way, they lose that much health instead. Attacks that would leech or drain vitality off Enigmon suffer the same consequences.
*Reprocess [Passive Ability]: Drawing energy from nearby sources, this digimon can gain sustenance and progressively heal its wounds over the course of time, growing stronger in the posts when it's not receiving damage. Can have the side effect of deteriorating the environment in bouts of voraciousness.
*Not From This World [Passive Ability]: This digimon's attacks and abilities ignore the effects of any passive ability that would tamper with them in any way, both beneficial and harmful. Keeping track of Ability stuff. —Esoteric Recall becomes replaced by Lay On Hands. *Esoteric Recall: This ability can be replaced by any active ability this digimon has learned about. This ability is subject to the cooldown of the last ability that it mimicked. When this ability changes, it must remain as it is for at least three posts before being able to be changed again.
*Lay On Hands: This digimon's limbs glow with faint, pink light as she places them along the wounds of an injured being. Ends up healing some (25%) of the target's wounds. Cooldown: 3 posts.

She felt the shortness of breath. She felt how hard it was to draw in agonizing after agonizing fraction of air that her massive lungs were capable of. This place in all it's glory was tearing her apart just as much as it was doing to her opponent but in the same vein she knew for a fact she didn't have the time to continue for very much longer. She felt the edging damage of this place turn her already warped and melted scales into sludge. She felt them dribble and slough off of her body one by one in an eternity of fractured mental states. Her laughter reaching new peaks of both pitch and loudness as all she could do at this point was laugh. Laughed at how much she enjoyed this fight, how she wanted to go even further beyond what she was capable of. How she wanted to fight at even a greater level than this but was restricted. How she wanted this fight to continue. But alas that was not meant to be. She drew in energy, feeling the warped nature of this place tear at her body further, she drew in more and more and more. She felt the burning sensation of something hit her. She drew that in too, she felt it gouge a great swath of her chest. Right above where the hole was. The beating and writhing heart that was her core exposed for the beast to see. She continued to draw in energy; her body glowing lightly as she started to reach the breaking point. Was it enough? She didn't know but she kept going, she kept drawing in that energy. When she couldn't amass anymore from the area around them she drew it in from herself. Her body failing already she felt the dizzying pitch of frustration and the horrid sensation of every fiber of her body screaming out as she drank deep from the form she kept. Bits and pieces of her falling off, clattering to the ground and dissipating as their host drank from the form. Pulling into the ever beating core. Her body was a passionate burning pillar of light. But not even for a moment did her booming laughter stop, it wasn't hysterical. It wasn't frustrated, it was filled to the brim with enjoyment even as those white scales turned to dust. Even as she felt her wire frame scream as the energies of this place were almost too much for her to bear. She felt the earth beneath her crack, the air losing that charge. She felt that her time was near and that there was little for her to do other than one final act. Her body was comprised of almost pure energy at this point but was she close enough? Would she be close enough? She couldn't tell the world was getting too dark, she could barely see. She could tell that the formless entity that was her opponent was close. She knew direction. She knew distance. But she didn't know if it'd hit. They were powerful. They were quick. But did they have the same level of tenacity? Were they capable of the same level of sacrifice? Were they willing to bet everything on a single moment? The Huanglongmon didn't ask a single question, didn't pose a single threat. She didn't berate, hate or even try to make the other flee. She instead used a card to turn herself into a flame shaped eagle. Launching herself at her opponent intent on smashing into them. Hoping that the momentum would last for long enough for her body to do what she had been planning. But she pulled in that energy too, as she flew through the air. As she looked to slam into her target she pulled as much as she could and eventually? Her body reached it's breaking point. She felt the tumbling sensation of loss throughout every fiber of her being and in a pure unadulterated blast of light. Silence detonated her attack, blasting herself apart with the ensuing ability. Wracking her very form into this energy and pushing out every single fiber of her being into it. She didn't care what happened next, she didn't need to see. She didn't need to feel. She didn't need to hear. She didn't need to smell, taste or even know what was to come from this. The sheer intensity of her attack would be enough. If Amelie dodged this she wasn't sure what would come from it. But that was enough for her. Would she dodge it or would the spirit user suffer as though she had? Would she break in the blast of a magnificence rarely seen in mega forms? Or would there be something to usher in her survival? Silence did not know. She didn't know anything as it tore her data line by data line apart. Ripping her body to pieces as she sacrificed everything for this attack. Furthering herself into it and eventually? When the blast cleared, the smoke settled. The gate of destiny would find itself collapsing without it's true owner. Depositing both her and the wayward spirit user into the realm proper. Across from the spirit user would be a single white egg. Roughly the size of a basketball, stark white in coloration with soft blue glyphs pulsing across it's body. The surface silently speaking to the spirit user of just how far silence was willing to go to fight someone. She was willing to go even further than her previous iteration was and that was saying something. But like her name. After the Absolution that had come. All that remained was silence. Log: -Silence takes the damage from Gate of judgement. -Silence takes Corona flame to the chest. Furthering damaging her already wracked frame. -Silence uses Garudamon to close the gap between her and Amelie before detonating Absolution. Passives: Combat Passive|Abandoned Scales: This digimon takes reduced damage from all sources and reduces damage dealt of allies standing within fifty feet of this digimon by a light amount.
Combat Passive|Pale Horse: This digimon moves quicker than most of it's cousins; enjoying a large boost to it's speed but lowered attack power. Move: Absolution: Reckoning must be used prior to this move. This digimon draws in a massive amount of energy from the surrounding area. Withering plants, the earth. Stripping the air of it's moisture and energy; crippling any movements near it for a single post. At the end of this charge period it unleashes hell. Any still within the two hundred feet of it are subject to an absolute inferno dealing massive damage and destroying any physical objects within that range. The earth itself finds itself under attack and caves in drawing the massive digimon into itself. Three post cool down. Card used: Dogatchamon, Cherubimon, Infermon, Magnadramon, Beetlemon Card Name: Garudamon Type: Digimon Rank: Gold Duration: 1 Post Wing Blade: The target Digimon turns into a flame-shaped eagle, launching at the opponent.
