Eventually, Enigmon could stand up, even though it had taken the abomination a noticeable amount of effort, considering the harmful influence of the Gates of Judgment. Rather than actual energy, the determination to keep on fighting managed to keep Amelie going; despite knowing it, her situation was quite similar to Silence's. Right now, the two were mostly fueled by sheer force of will, and that made them even more dangerous.
Who would give up first? That question had been asked countless times, yet... this time it would get its ultimate answer. Enigmon readied itself to withstand the next barrage of attacks the best it could; its body was fortified, and even went as far as to temporarily vanish in order to avoid the initial dash the gravely injured Huanglongmon performed. What the formless horror didn't expect was what came next; once back on this place of existence, Silence's body, now composed more of energy rather than matter, was overloading itself. Her very own core had been weaponized in order to perform what would most likely be her final act in this fight. The mere notion of doing something like for a prize as this tournament's sounded ludicrous for Amelie, but...
She guessed that, for some lifeforms, dying was relatively cheap. Enigmon braced itself for Silence's parting gift, feeling how the light managed to rend into her very being. Most of the tendrils that composed her body were instantly disintegrated in the wake of the attack. Its body was giving up...
Once the light cleared and the Gate collapsed, however, the aberration managed to stand its ground. Saying that it was on its last legs was the overstatement on the century; that attack had gone as far as to activate this form's safety mechanism, but that had ultimately managed to keep the digimon and its wielder relatively safe. It had taken literally everything Amelie had at her disposal, but she had been the last one standing. What a relief...
Promptly, Amelie undid her evolution, the gigantic digimon being replaced by... a much smaller girl. She gazed around, finally getting a good look of the arena while she panted from the exhaustion; being honest with herself, she could collapse right there, but the small amount of dignity that she had forbid her from doing so. Instead, her eyes settled on egg that was directly across her. Gingerly, the brunette walked towards it, and after picking it up, cradled it in between her arms. "That was the finest battle I've ever fought, y'know? I'll make sure to thank you properly once you hatch, but..." Guess that the question that followed was more than obvious. "I have no idea about what to do with you in the meantime. Hope there are any caretakers in the tournament grounds, just for eventualities like this one."
In a sense, Amy felt responsible about the ultimate outcome of this fight, and that could only mean she would take care of Silence until she hatched, at the very least.
Final recap!
Keeping track of Ability stuff.

Final recap!
—Enigmon regains some health due to Reprocess.
—Uses Raised Status (Infermon) to increase its defense for the duration of this post.
—Gets hit by the energies inside the Gate of Judgment.
—Uses New Perspectives to succesfully avoid Wing Blade.
—Gets hit by Absolution, yet manages to resist it due to Eternal Scourge.
—Gets out of the Gate of Judgment.
—Devolves back to Amelie.
—And finally, picks Silence's egg up before exiting the combat area.
Relevant passives:
*New Perspectives [Passive Ability]: Once every three posts, this digimon can vanish briefly, then reappear at a nearby location, almost as if space itself had folded to its whims. This can be used to set up attacks or get out of harm's way more efficiently.
*Reprocess [Passive Ability]: Drawing energy from nearby sources, this digimon can gain sustenance and progressively heal its wounds over the course of time, growing stronger in the posts when it's not receiving damage. Can have the side effect of deteriorating the environment in bouts of voraciousness.
*Eternal Scourge [Passive Ability]: If this digimon would be defeated, it remains active on its very last legs instead. Unless given enough time to recover, the next time it'd receive damage from any source, it's done for good. Usable only once per fight.
