Alright, now that we’re down to a proper sixteen person bracket, let’s show the crowd what our simulators can really do!Bitter WaterXenica and Mae wouldn’t be able to see each-other immediately – not in the dense fog of this area. But what they would be able to make out is knee deep mud, slowing their forward advance, and the sound of annoying, buzzing insects around. Lighting was poor, barely able to penetrate through the thick, unforgiving canopy ahead. The swamp. Unseen, but within two hundred feet of each-other, they would be able to make the data signal out of their opponent. One had an advantage stalling for time, the other might be able to make premonitions through the bog… who would make it out on top? Xenica Sanagi versus Mae Mae Starts! A final few taps at the screen of the phone, and whatever sort of hellish plot thread Mae was running had come to a close. Yeah, the participants would have to live with their moderately average earnings for the most part. She looked up to find a swamp, a rather foggy one rife with insects and the data signal of another one. "...Oh, right." The cat hissed, the Raguelmon (yes, she entered as Raguelmon of all things) beginning to stalk forward to try triangulating a particular direction that the Sanagi's data signal lay at. Once she was able to zero in on the signal, if such were possible at all? She'd make a running start, before swiping at thin air with her claws...That promptly converted themselves into a beamlike whip of light. About ninety feet in length. It'd cover a rather long area all around Mae's right. Would she strike gold here?
Relevant Passives: Fatebreaker [RAM Upgrade Giga]: This entity has the same mysterious foresight that a Rasielmon would possess. As such, Mae has the ability to divine a potentially infinite number of futures, depending on the level she's at. There are, however, limits to her foresight. For one, the lower the level, the more muddied, limited, and opaque the visions will be. The higher, the clearer. Furthermore, in combat, this is only really applicable as a way to warn herself and others of various attacks. Whether she can dodge them or not even with this is entirely on her. Should she successfully dodge an attack she had a vision of, the chances she can dodge the next one are lower. Basically she can’t spam this unless she wants the hurt.
Love Machine: Raguelmon, though angelic in nature, is a poisonous beast that blights ANYTHING she touches. All of her attacks have a corruptive property to them that can be amplified to double their damage every three turns.
Fate’s Executor: Raguelmon’s senses are heightened in this form, allowing for quicker reaction times and overall improved agility in combat.
Mae opens up with Kikurin to try scoping out her opponent with a big ass light whip. Does she hit anything? Heck if she knows, it's pretty easy to dodge since it's not really aimed or anything. Kikurin [RAM Upgrade]: Raguelmon converts her claws into a whiplike blade of energy reaching up to 90 feet in length. This whip is capable of slicing through just about everything including barriers. Two turn cooldown. Cooldowns: Kikurin: 0/2

[attr="class","xenica"]Once again, Xenica entered the arena first, but didn't make a big show out of it like last time. This time, the arena barely looked like an arena at all. The spirit user had found herself in a muddy marsh, swarmed with humidity and millions of tiny insects. It was a foggy, desolate, and gross place, at least it would be to many. For once, fortune shined upon her with these special arenas, for this was the perfect environment for her to do battle in. Even before being granted the power of the Spirit of Metamorphosis, much of her time in the real world was spent chasing after insects in nearby forests and swamps. She might have been able to utilize her cocoon ability here to its fullest extent, but decided against it, instead opting to Digivolve directly to her Mega Form. This round had an added gimmick of Digi-Modify cards, which were temporarily preloaded into her D-Tector so she could properly use them while in bug form. This gimmick made Xenica not want to take any additional chances compared to last round. After the Spirit Evolution was complete, the teenager became much larger, this being her largest form yet, standing around the size of a two-story townhouse. However, her carapace was entirely black, allowing it to blend into the murky environment despite her size. Soon after evolution, she heard footsteps in the water, soon followed by a quickened run, and then suddenly, a burst of light shot right by the giant insect, nearly revealing her. The projectile traveled on for what seemed like forever. So, a sniper? Couldn't exactly guess this early. Perhaps now was a better time than ever for some mind games. " Listen to them, feel them, they're all around you, little kitten." The GoliathKabuterimon buzzed, her words echoing in the watery environment, making it difficult to locate exactly where she was from this alone. At this same time, she began to release a swarm of small insects from her shell, tiny little burrowing gnats that were almost indistinguishable from the other insects. " Every day, people step on them, eradicate them, treat them as pests. Who's Earth really is this? Insects have been around for millenia, before the dinosaurs. Mammals are but a speck on the timeline of evolution." The insects she released would be making their way to Mae's fleshy body, smelling her fresh data out like a mosquito seeks blood. Once there, they would begin burrowing into her skin and infest her, truly a disgusting process. And hopefully, her monologue would prevent her from even initially noticing. " You think you can outlast me? Keep unloading your pathetic attacks into the darkness, blind and lost, like the newborn you are." The bugs would be there by now. ✗ Paracide: Activated GoliathKabuterimon releases a swarm of small burrowing beetles from within her shell, which seek out up to three different targets over a 200 meter range. These insects burrow into the unfortunate victim's flesh, eating away at their data from within. For 2 posts, infected targets will take a small amount of damage each post, as well as be additionally counted as Insect-type in addition to their existing type for the duration of this ability. No dice with the Kikurin, unfortunately. The Raguelmon snarled in annoyance as she continued her trek, slowly starting to triangulate where the data signal was coming from. That honestly cringeworthy (in her opinion) speech would have helped her find Xenica easier, had it not been coming from all around her. "You're talking a lot of shit for a womanlet that can't even come out and face me." Yes, that was the ideal approach here, throw out some obvious bait, and see if she'd take it. The cat noticed insects moving in and burrowing into her flesh, bugs that weren't here before that wanted a piece of her arguably negligible amounts of exposed flesh. It actually kind of hurt a lot. Likely the work of her opponent. Didn't she have a card that could coat her in ice? And didn't ice screw insects up pretty badly? "Nice of you to send your kids to their deaths, though." The beast spoke, as she swiped the Ikkakumon card, a thick layer of ice coating the Raguelmon. It would not do much to truly STOP the insects, given the rarity of the card, but it may hamper them. Who knows? After that, Mae decided to take another potshot. She couldn't figure any general direction the insects were coming from, so she decided to continue her tactic of...bait. "Useless little bugs, just like the rest of your kind!" Xenica Sanagi

Mae's afflicted by Paracide, and swipes Ikkakumon's card before taunting Xenica to hell and back. Would she respond?
