Whether they had a crew already or not, the course of action was pretty much clear for many of those pirates who had received the news about the recent discoveries regarding Astrivia. Re-Re Island. The island where the ISR, the institute that had actually received that stress signal, was located. It was clear the ISR was hiding more information about Astrivia. Which meant that, right now, getting to Re-Re Island was the best bet for all of those who wanted to get a step closer to finding the mythical land. Especially for those that were known researchers and avid for knowledge! Much like Yuki and Tsugi. Sadly, like many islands inside the Southern Tropics since this had begun, Re-Re Island had an invisible force field that hampered the use of any kind of portals. On top of that, the Digimon Navy had issued a press statement where no digimon could fly near Re-Re island without a permit. Considering the Trailmons going there had also suspended all of their trips, this left both Tsugi and Yuki with a single option: using a ship to get there. A short inquiry around Whitewater would let the duo (whether they were together already or just acting separately) know that there were no ships going to Re-Re Island right now, due to the very strict security policies the navy was applying to any boat that traveled around those seas. With that in mind and the fact that no great discovery had been made while idly sitting around, the humans and their digimon started moving! Where? Well, to a certain island known for having a shipping company that sent boats all over the sea, no restrictions! Maybe they had no proof that these guys were exempt from the restrictions to travel to Re-Re Island, and maybe they did not even know the name of the company. But that was ultimately fine! Just getting off their chairs had to help them somehow. With that in mind, the group took the first passenger ship towards the Garma Isles; a set of three very small islands located many kilometers to the east of Whitewater City, known for having the main headquarters of this mysterious shipping company. The ship ended up taking them to the isle located to the eastern side of the so-called archipelago, the third of them, if you counted from west to east. It looked... very paradisiac, actually! Just by walking through its beautiful beach, it was likely the pair would feel the need to be in their swimsuits! ... Well, at least they were too geeky for that! That was fine, too. The much necessary walk by the seashore would take the pair (again, were they separated at the moment or not) to one of the main attractions of the island: An inn. The Garma Inn was actually its name. If there was any place where they could find some info, it had to be here. Even if the place did not look like a super important place at all. In fact, it's facade was rather simplistic! From the outside, it was a two-story, establishment. Although it was made of concrete, it was decorated with flowers and other tropical adornments. Once they entered, they would not take long to notice the floor was made of wood and the walls followed the same decoration pattern. Some posters of people having fun at the Garma isles could be found over light purple walls. Well, that made sense, the structures in an island where you spend most of the time by the beach should not need to be very elaborated. Different types of digimons, mostly plants, insects and water creatures, could be found inside the establishment, drinking by the bar or having a meal. The place was not a desert, but it was not crowded at all either. At the bar, which also seemed to be the main counter, a Guardromon. One of the clients, however, would not take long to raise the pair's attention. Why? Well, this client had plenty of things that could raise a human's attention in the Digital World. From the get-go, she was a human girl. Then, she had a big yellow, witch hat. It was huge. One of those things that would definitely never go unnoticed. As a third defining factor... Ow, she was crying. Her glasses laying on the table in front of her, the little girl kept sobbing, trying to take the tears off her eyes with her fist. Definitely a heartbreaking sight. What could have happened to this girl? Maybe they should approach her? Of course, going with the innkeeper, that Guardromon attending the bar, could also be a good choice. OOC: Kayo! Welcome to the Set Sail for Astrivia Plot, Merry Maritime LARPers.
This is not, by any means, a static plot. Everything is going to be constantly changing according to the decisions you make! Although for plot convenience and in order to give you a little push I have established the first objective for your crew (getting to Re-Re Island, in this case) all of your actions and decisions will determine how the plot moves on and whether that objective changes or not. Alliances, friendships, and gruesome battles: in Set Sail for Astrivia your objectives and the roads you take to achieve those objectives will change according to how YOU want it and the decisions YOU make.
So, enjoy the ride! ~
With love, Erika.

Sho knew the mission. His D-Terminal held all the facts they'd gathered and he'd been giddy enough throughout the entire trip. The kid just couldn't get the images from that translated version of "Treasure Island" he read out of his mind. The ISR was just the first step on that enormous journey, but, that being said, he and his similarly curious compatriot had to get a ship first. He could already get the feeling that passenger ships and shipping vessels weren't going to cut it for the whole trip into uncharted territory, but if he was going to become a pirate for science, this was definitely the occasion to do so. Naturally, any pirate needed a good costume, and luckily for Sho, he had just about the best cosplay around. But one thing was immediately clear to them the minute they headed through the decorated door; this was not the place for a Bastemon. Any other tavern or inn full of Digimon from all walks of the Digital World might've felt itself suited to a dancing feline, but this one held something their ears just couldn't ignore. Sho could stroll in, flicking their tails back and forth and giving themselves a characteristic type of swagger, but even they couldn't pull an aloof act on someone in tears. Nothing would click with them until they fixed whatever ailed this girl, especially one with such a stylishly large hat. Sho fought the feeling in their chest calling them over to the distraught human, relaying a plan through veiled whispers to Mizu, leaning over to speak to them. "I think this cat has work to do already...can't seem to help it just looking at her! Just bear with me for a second, okay? That Guardromon might respond better to a straight shooter like you anyway, eh? As long as you can weasel out a company name or a location from them, we should be perfect~. Someone might cough it up trying to get a quick stash of bits anyway, so there's no harm in trying..." Sho mewled, ears perking up and lowering as they used them to pay close attention to the happenings of the inn. With their message sent, they began to try and still themselves, calming down the jumpy legs and twisting tails for a more relaxed approach. It may have felt like fighting nature itself, but Sho was able to strut over to the girl's table, satchel bouncing and bumping ever so slightly as they knelt down to their eye level. They took the time to fish through the bag they had to retrieve their very own polishing cloth used for their own glasses. The Bastemon used her claws with a ginger touch, picking up the circular glasses and polishing them to a shine in a rehearsed motion... "Would a clear pair of lenses soothe your eyes?" began the suave tone of their voice, neatly folding the stems of the spectacles and handing them to their owner. "It's the least I could do for someone so fashionable in this much distress..." they purred, starting to smile towards the girl and giving the tiniest glimpse at a set of fangs.

"Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum~", sung Mizu. She was wearing a small pirate hat, and an eyepatch. "Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum~", sung Kira-chan. He too was wearing the same small pirate hat and an eyepatch. "C-c-c-could you guys please drop the pirate thing?", said Yukiko Armstrong. She was just wearing a tanktop, shorts, and her competition swimsuit underneath.
Yuki had recieved the same alert as Tsugi had. The premise sounded interesting enough to catch her attention, and the possibility to interact and bond with a club member she had barely seen just sealed the deal. Yet when she had told Mizu about it, the Betamon had somehow gotten it into her head that this was going to be a Pirate Adventure, because apparently "lost islands and boat navigating is sooooo pirate-y!". Worse, she got Kira-chan, the Keramon that the two had found and raised, to join in with it, too. So when Yuki stepped onto the docks on Garma, she stuck out like a plain thumb among the two shanty-singing Digimon. "Come on, Yuki-chan, join in!" "H-h-h-have you forgotten we're here on a science mission? This has nothing to do with pirates!" Mizu then leant over to Kira-chan and whispered, loud enough that Yuki could still hear it. "Wow, Kira-chan, your mum's a -total- joykill!" Yukiko decided to ignore this, and opened the doors to the taverns. Here, she was told, she would meet Tsugi. And sure enough, there they were! It was hard to ignore a tall, sultry catgirl. Good thing Ayumi wasn't here, she'd die from bloodloss seeing this! Still, as a good leader, Yuki took a deep breath, and approached them, shaking their hand with an awkward smile. "Ah, n-n-n-nice to meet you in person, Tsugi. I am Y-y-y-yukiko!" Mizu was a lot less awkward about this, just gently bumping the catgirl's leg with her side. "Hey good-looking!"
Seemed that Tsugi already had gotten their head into the game. They told Mizu to try and butter up someone to get information, while they would go and comfort the crying girl. As much as Mizu hated to see a pretty girl cry, she aknowledged that it would be better to let Tsugi, and the big soft ball of empathy Yukiko handle this. She nodded, and approached the bar. And Yuki, as expected, went with Tsugi to comfort the crying girl. "Oh, a-a-are you ok, miss...?"
At the bar, Mizu hopped onto a barchair and tapped a claw on the counter, giving her best billion dollar smile. "Oy, gimme some of your good stuff, good-looking!~ And maybe a few seconds of your time, too~"

Just by watching the Merry Maritime LARPers in action, one could say they definitely had the right attitude. They had been active and reactive towards the events unfolding inside of the inn but… how were they faring off? As soon as Mizu leaped onto that bar chair, she would notice something cold right below her. Ow! Had she 'taken a sit' on top of something? Shortly after, she realized there were coins below her. Hmmm, what were three old, bronze coins doing here? Maybe they could come useful later? It couldn’t hurt to keep them, right? After she spoke up, the Guardromon did not take long to turn towards the frog and walk towards the potential client. Once he did, Mizu would actually notice something from this close. The robot was… wearing a skirt. It was very tropical and it looked like some sort of Hawaiian garment. Why was he wearing that? Excellent question. “Welcome to the Garma Inn.” With a very robotic voice, he addressed the Betamon. “The most tropical~ place on the archipelago.” Did he just move his arms in a very awkwardly dancing manner right when he said tropical? “How can I serve you?” His voice did not stop being robotic for a single second. However, he did tackle the second part of the pirate’s request. “Thanks for the compliment. I am happy someone appreciates my skirt, even if it is not, by any means, something my species would frequently wear.” The frog would probably be wondering if his parents were proud of this Guardromon. Then, he actually stopped being stiff for a second to glare at her. “Are you a local? I believe I have never seen you around.” He declared. It was likely many Betamon visited this establishment frequently but… the robot had never seen this one before. “Giving you my attention is part of my job. Is there anything I can help you with? I can sing 462 tropical songs.” After a pause, he just went on with it. “Number one. Oh, beautiful beach. Oh, beautiful isles. Oh, please come to Garma. It will be the time of your life~” He was not even singing, he was literally robotically reciting the lyrics. “Oh, beautiful…~”
Yes, Mizu should be a bit more specific before this turns weirder.
The little girl actually took her hands off her eyes to see who was speaking to her. And when she did… “Eek!” She almost falls off her chair! As soon as she regained balance, the human stared down to the table, seemingly scared. “C-Calm… down… Keriann… t-they are… h-harmless…” She repeated quietly. Was she hyperventilating now? As soon as she heard the other voice addressing her, she turned slowly to look at… A HUMAN! In a split of a second, her face lightened up, going from complete nervousness to some type of smile. “A-Are you…?” Then, she wrinkled her mouth, leaping down her chair. Once she did, the duo would notice she was fairly short. Her features were also pretty juvenile. This girl was definitely not older than 13 years old. What was she doing now? The girl was actually looking at Yukiko from below, going around her. “You’re actually a human, right?” Staring at Yuki's legs, her shorts, and her hair while actually touching the parts she could reach. “You’re not actually like those critters who look like humans but aren’t, right? You’re fully human, right?” Hey, hey! Watch the hands! The human girl then stopped for a second, moving her hat to a side and actually blinking twice. “I-I’m sorry…!” She apologized, leaping back into her seat. “I just… had not seen a human since I got here.” This explanation was punctuated by another glare down below and an evident blush showing in her cheeks. “I’m also sorry if I acted scared when I saw you, miss…” She muttered, speaking to Sho but without actually looking at the Bastemon. “… I’m still not very used to… d-digimon.” After a pause, another comment ensued. “T-Thanks for calling me fashionable, though…” she whispered, holding down the flaps of her hat. Well, at least something good had come from all of this. She was not crying anymore! Even if she did seem still sad. Inventory:Old coins [Misc item] [Waiting...] OOC:The inventory shows what interesting or important items any member of the crew has at any time. Right next to the name of the item, you will find what type of item it is and who in the crew has it. If it has not been decided yet who took the item after being handed to the crew or if the member of the crew has not decided yet if it will take the item or not, the words 'waiting...' will appear. If an item is showed in the inventory, it means you can take your time to look at it closely or try to use it in any kind of situation. The fact that an item is in your inventory probably means you're going to need it, so don't forget to check the crew's inventory every time you have to make a decision or don't know what to do. You might have the item you need right there!

Sho gave the girl a bit of space while she had her little frantic freak out. It took them some strength to keep himself still in their body as Keriann fumbled about. They wanted to hold her back and keep her stable for the moment, but hearing about how uncomfortable she was about Digimon, it gave Sho another idea. The Bastemon smiled and leaned over towards Keriann in their bow, beginning to speak quite delightedly. "You're welcome! I don't have any trouble with speaking the truth." With that, they extended their hand, holding a gold-tipped end of one of their claws. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Keriann. That's your name, right? If you're a little uncomfortable with Digimon, I could tell you a little secret." They leaned over, whispering from behind their veil as to not break character, so to speak. "I'm not really a Digimon, just a human who can turn into one..." Sho pulled back, and in a sly little trick, pretended to seat themselves while they really just started to balance on their tails. "I'd show you, but I'm on a bit of a mission right now. A mission I think you can help us with if we can help you! Sound good?" In their mind this was probably the best way they could handle someone who looked so much younger than them. If they could distract them from their worries for just a moment, it'd be a moment they could seriously talk to them and gain some trust. Sho was beginning to really like this plan... "This is one of the first few times you've been around here right? What's been troubling you?" The Bastemon started simply, scratching a little at their ears and fixing their long single braid of hair flowing behind them to prepare to listen.

Loose bronze coins on the chair? Weird! But those who disregard the penny aren't worth the dollar, so she'll be pocketing these, yoink!
Neither the skirt not the Guardomon's robotic tone of voice bothered Mizu much. Her brother had taught her that clothes are nothing more than some pretty coverings, so let people wear whatever they want. And the robotic voice, well, her friend Solomon had a similar voice. So her smile remained unfazed. "Dream it, be it, gal~ You wear whatever you wanna wear~ Yup, I am new around these parts, and I was hoping you-" The singing caught her off guard. Yuuuup, she better go and stop them before this turns worse! "Now now, as much as I enjoy singing, I was actually hoping uou could tell me a bit more about this place! I've heard there's some really good boat builders out here!"
Yuki was a tad taken aback by the girl's reaction. Sheesh, she seemed quite desperate! "Uh, y-y-yes, I am a full human." She blushed when she got felt up, but did not do much else against it. Clearly, this gal was a first timer around these parts. "D-d-d-don't worry, mm-m-most Digimon are nice! B-b-but I understand your fears...this is your first time in this world, huh? H-h-h-how did you get here? W-w-was that why you were crying?" In spite of her social awkwardness, Yuki managed to radiate calm, like a big rock to cling to in the turbulent wash of a stormy sea.

It seemed like the crew was getting along pretty good with their individual interlocutors, even if they did seem to be rather… quirky, to say the least.
Around the bar, the situation with the Guardromon seemed a lot easier to approach straightforwardly, as soon as Mizu didn’t let him ramble. And that was exactly what she was trying to stop him from doing! “Boat builders…” The robot actually stopped singing and raised his gaze. Was he searching somewhere in his system for that information? “I’m sorry, Garma Isles are not especially known for its boat builders or shipwrights, as far as I know. Neither is the archipelago known for the singing skills of its Guardromons, though.” Was it necessary to clarify that? Maybe. “The island does send ship parts to boat builders around the Southern Tropic, just as it sends many items throughout the sea thanks to Los Amigos del Ocio, one of the most famous shipping companies across the ocean.”
While Keriann held the flaps of her hat down, she flinched right when the cat-digimon leaned forward to tell her something. “Y-Yes… that’s my name. I’m Keriann Lagan.” She muttered, before the Bastemon proceeded to drop a shocking revelation! “W-What!?” Although still whispering, the little girl sounded definitely impressed. “A human who can turn into a digimon? I-Is that… possible? What is your name?” She wondered. Well, she certainly hoped this cat was not lying. The yellow-hatted stared at the creature for a second or two, probably unsure how to feel. Well, she definitely felt a lot more comfortable if she believed there was a human below! Even if she was slightly skeptical. “Yes. My first time.” She nodded after glancing for a second at Yuki. “I… followed my sister through a portal that opened in her room. She… doesn’t know I did, though.” She muttered that last part, although it was quite audible. Her countenance went to sadness again. She seemed honestly a bit troubled. “Y-Yes… that’s w-why I was crying.” Made sense. “I started exploring as soon as I got here, but my sister was nowhere around. Then… I found out I was on an island. A-and… if she’s not h-here…” Keriann's sweet, little voice broke while she uttered these words, sounding honestly desperate. Uh oh, she was sobbing! Was she going to cry again? “Come on, Rotto! Let’s play some more! Don’t be such a killjoy!” “Nu-uh! I dun’ wanna’! I’m going back to Re-Re Island!”
Who was being so loud? It seemed like, while they spoke to Keriann, a Dorimon and a Syakkomon had entered the establishment. While the clam seemed to be asking the little fuzzy creature to play with her, this so-called Rotto didn’t seem interested. While they turned to see the ongoing argument, a little giggle got to their ears. Keriann seemed to be entertained by the pair! “C-Cute…” She muttered, a faint smile forming around her lips. Well, she seemed to been drawn away from her utter sadness for a second. Keriann just could not stop looking at the pair. She seemed interested in approaching them… but at the same time seemed hesitant about leaving Yuki and Sho. Should they go near these creatures? One of them did say something interesting… OOC:

"My name is Sho Tsuginaga, it's a pleasure, Keriann!" They introduced, waving two gilded claws in a cheerful peace sign as he did. It was a pleasure to see someone so intrigued by their form, that was something both he and the Bastemon could agree on, but Sho had to get back in the game, she was explaining her trouble after all.
...They gave two demure nods of understanding, placing a set of claws underneath their veil to gently scratch at their cheek. They followed their sister through her portal...one of her siblings had a Digivice and had been around long enough to install a digiport; Keriann was following her sister, couldn't find her, and discovered she was on the Garma Isles. Writing all this down in one of the notebooks he'd procured from their satchel was just about second nature, crossing their strong legs and scribbling attentively like an experienced P.I. . Sho's ears had been perked up to catch every word but lowered at the first sign of distress coming from the girl in the yellow hat. "From the sounds of it, I think your sister found a way to travel from here. I'm sure we can-" For the first time in a long while, their thoughts were cut short. The appearance of a Dorimon and Syakkomon easily attracted every inch of their attention with just a few words. Sho could recognize it from a mile away; the feeling when everything comes together in just the perfect storm. "Pardon me, fuzzy one, but did you just say 'Re-Re Island'?" They swiftly posed the question, leaping silently from their seat in a bounding motion just to make a small approach. Perhaps it was much too obvious from their flicking tails and widened eyes, but this was an answer that the Bastemon just couldn't wait for. They were barely able to put it into a screaming whisper when they asked it, only able to keep themselves down by a hairsbreadth.
Maybe this was too much attention? No. This wasn't going to be a small trip for long, if they were going to figure out where Keriann's sister was and finding a way to Re-Re Island, this was probably the only chance they were going to get.

This robot sure was an odd one, huh! But if you grow up among like 50 siblings, you get used to eccentrics. Mizu kept her smile. "Singing is nice, anyone should get to enjoy it, I say~ Now, you mentioned Los Amigos del Ocio. Can ya tell me more about 'em?" Mizu's Spanish pronunciation was utterly butchered, but she didn't care!
Yuki, too, noticed the arrival of the cute Digimon mentioning this Re-Re-Island...but to her, tending to the upset girl was much more important. So while Sho went and asked the little ones, Yuki remained at Keriann's side. "So you said you lost contact with your sister? In the Digital World? That's scary! But nothing we cannot solve! We can help you find your sister, we know a lot about this place, don't worry!" She put a hand on the girl's shoulder and smiled a sincere, if awkward, smile. Her stuttering had vanished, she seemed very reassuring!

While cleaning some other glasses with a piece of cloth, the Guardromon somehow clarified further into the matter, still keeping his signature robotic voice. “They are a shipping company. They take stuff from one place in the sea to another. There are many islands that are portal-locked in the Southern Tropics right now. This is mainly because the Navy has blocked portaling from many islands to avoid pirates or dangerous people moving in portals, where they are harder to catch. The navy has also forbidden ships to enter a limited number of islands.” That definitely sounded like a problem!
“Los Amigos del Ocio have been granted a special permit that lets them go to basically any island, so that’s why people look for them when they want to send items or merchandise to an island they can’t reach otherwise.” While serving drinks to a couple of clients who had just arrived, the bartender kept going with his explanation. While he did, the clients couldn't help but chuckle a bit at his skirt. “The company is very famous and it is actually why most people visit the Garma Isles. It has helped all of the business around to grow, which we’re thankful for. If you need to send something to an island you cannot normally reach, you should probably go to them.”
The question was… what if they were trying to send themselves to an island people could not normally reach?
“Sho…” Glancing at the floor for a second, Keriann seemed to assimilate the name that had just been told to her. With a smile etched on her face, she looked back at the cat lady. “So you are a human!” Apparently, the name was enough to make her feel confident there was actually a person behind the digimon. That made sense, considering she was only an innocent child.
Now it was Yuki comforting her, while the digimon had approached the little creatures that had just entered. While the taller human girl addressed her, Keriann remained staring at the two smaller digimon from the distance. They were so cute!
She didn’t ignore the human’s questions, though.
“Yes. My sister had been acting weird lately so… I read her diary. It said a lot of very confusing stuff about another world she had visited and it said she was going to spend more time there next time.” She explained, developing the story a little bit further. “I woke up in the middle of the night and saw her opening some type of portal in her bedroom. Then the thing made ‘swoosh!’” She was obviously explaining all of this with a bunch of child-like gestures. “And i-it just absorbed her. I didn’t want her to leave, so I entered the room and went through the portal but… I appeared on this island, and she wasn’t around.”
That was definitely a more detailed explanation. Keriann issued a nod at Yuki’s final statement. “Thank you. Can I… stay with you two until I find out where she might be?” Playing with her index fingers, the girl inquired. “What’s your name, miss?” She asked politely.
Then, she looked again at Sho, who was still speaking to the critters. “Can we follow them? I... want to look at the fuzzy one from up-close.” A slight blush formed around her cheeks as she asked this, kind of whispering.
Meanwhile, Sho was actually trying to make his way into this conversation. The two of them seemed to be having some differences. When approached by the Bastemon, they both turned to look at her, obviously raising their gaze.
“Yes. That’s what I said.” The Dorimon admitted, not sounding neither too friendly nor too harsh. “Why? Do ya’ know how to get there?” “Come on, Rotto! Don’t listen to them! Let’s play!” The Syakkomon insisted. “Sending that Impmon and his crew to Grimway was fun, right? Let’s do it again with some other pirates!” The little critter giggled just by suggesting this. “No! That stuff is boring!” Rotto shook his body. “You got us here. Why don’t you get us out?”
“Because I don’t want to leave! There’s a shipping company on this island that can go basically anywhere around the sea. I bet if we get into their warehouse we can find some interesting stuff! They will let me in if I tell them who I am!” The little clam continued.
“I don’t wanna’!” With something that sounded like an angry purr, the Dorimon rejected this request too. “I wonder if I can use that company to travel back to Re-Re Island…” He muttered to himself.
“Ugh! There you go! Being a killjoy again!”
What was going on?

The Bastemon nodded to the two below them with a smile that a lioness gives to its prey. Was it threatening? Perhaps. But more than that aura, it exuded that feeling of being full and hungry at the same time. Satisfied and wanting more. And just like a creature that desperately wanting, Sho perked their ears up, listening out and looking around to get a small glance at how Mizu's end of the job was going, getting a real feeling of how close they all were to that elusive point in time. When everything would come together in one delectable strike. Though, Sho supposed that was a thought that only a vampiric predator could have. He expected to have to rein himself in, but this was only half-true. The instincts of the Bastemon and his own understanding of the plan came together as one, and like that, the plan evolved. Their eyes widened for a moment, for it was less of a "lightbulb" moment and more of a "lightning bolt". One they'd have to share once they got everyone together again. "How about this, you excited pair; I know how to get both of you what you want, with a lot more fun for you, and a lot more than Re-Re Island in store for you." Sho mused, whispering with a delighted grin behind their veil. They passed a pointed claw between each of them when they mentioned their respective goals. "I'd like you to meet a few people, okay?" Nodding, they stood to their full height once more, beginning to lead them over to Yukiko and Keriann, coming to a stop once they could move out of the way and have the two parties see each other. Sho found the D-Tector's scanner function quite helpful, because now he could do this— "Syakkomon and Dorimon, meet Keriann and Yukiko, though you'd probably want to introduce yourselves, heh." The Bastemon moved an open set of claws between the two parties drawing their attention to one another. A particularly pleased glance was given to Yukiko, just to give her an even clearer picture of what was interesting Sho at the time. When a cat's caught its own tongue, it likely has a lot to say... "I'll be more upfront with you two, considering this form tends to make me act a certain way..." Sho began to elaborate, taking on the tone he often held as a researcher and a bookworm rather than the sultry dancer he looked to be right now. "I think I've taken a liking to each of your respective skills. You've got a good habit of keeping your eyes on the prize, and from what I've heard, it sounds like you know enough about these seas to have a little more than just fun on the water. And you both want some excitement, it's what keeps you doing whatever you wish, am I wrong?" They finished off their little profile, with an extended claw held towards the two now in front of them again. "I think you'd be the perfect pair to travel with us, eh? I'll make everything clear once everyone's here, but whaddya say to a big trip on the high seas?" They asked with only the mewling charisma that a Bastemon could produce, their grin beaming.

Mizu nodded along with the robot's tale. So these guys were big shots in business, huh? And a carte blanche on sending items about? Must be important. "So if these guys can go about their business without the navy complaining, how do they identify themselves? How do they keep the navy from just blowing them up to high heavens if they approach one of the bad islands??"
Yuki also nodded along, listening to the girl's explanation. "A different world...it sounds like your sister had discovered the Digital World, and that portal lead straight there...that does mean that she ended up here too, and that also means she has to be somewhere around here, on this ocean. We can find her, I am sure!" She turned red when both the girl and Sho had her introduce herself, putting the spotlight on her. "Ah, uh, I am Y-y-y-yukiko, nice to meet you..."

The leisure chat between the bartender Guardromon and Mizu continued, although it seemed to be drawing towards an inevitable end. “That is… actually a good question.” Well, he was only a bartender, after all! “I don’t have much information about the details, but I would assume their flag is enough for identification. Then, if the Navy goes to them and asks for further confirmation, they probably have a certificate. Again, I don’t know much about that.” He added. “You can go and ask them yourself, though. If you go to the eastern side of the island, through the beach, you will find a set of buildings and warehouses labeled 'Los Amigos del Ocio.'"Suddenly, the robot seemed to have remembered something. “If you go there… could you give this to one of the employees?” The Guardromon extended a light-blue card, with the shape of a speaker in its front side. “I don’t know their name, I just know it’s a Gizamon. They left it here the other day when they came for a drink. If you ask around you probably will find the owner.”Would Mizu take this?
If you had to give credit to someone for being immediately in the game, that had to be Sho. The Bastemon had seized the opportunity and acted fast before any of these little critters walked (or hopped) away on them. Bestowing the best negotiation skills they could afford, the Merry Maritime Larpers were going for an alliance that could determine their chances of getting into Re-Re Island. Without really having anything to say back, the Dorimon and the Syakkomon just followed the cat-lady. Before Keriann and Yukiko could go where they were, the trio of digimon seemed to be approaching them! Meanwhile, the little girl showed a smile to her obviously taller peer. “Y-You really think so?” Could they really find her sister in such a big world? “Thank you so much!” Apparently, her sheer sadness seemed to have gone away for now, and that was great. As the digimon stood before the pair, Keriann stared at the Dorimon, a faint blush appearing around her cheeks. She seemed to be completely delighted by the creature’s fuzzy presence. “Hi. My n-name is Keriann.” She delivered a quick introduction to the pair, while the two digimon just stared as Yukiko introduced herself too. For any spectator, it would be obvious the pair of tiny digital creatures weren’t too convinced by the situation unfolding in front of them. However, they did remain still to listen to everything this group had to say. Once introductions had been issued from one of the parties, the Dorimon looked above and spoke. “My name is Rotto.” He remarked nonchalantly, before turning back at the Bastemon. “Can you really get me back to Re-Re Island?” It seemed like the fuzzy one had his mind set on his goal. Meanwhile, the clam seemed to be a lot more interested in having fun. “I am one for excitement, definitely.” She noted with a smile, even if she didn’t seem too sure this would bring the excitement she was looking for. “I am A-““D-Don’t say it!” Rotto jumped in front of the Syakkomon immediately, putting both of his paws on her mouth. “Your name only brings us trouble.” He delivered an audible whisper. Being unable to introduce herself, the slimy clam just hoisted herself back. “… You’re such a killjoy.” She noted, not adding anything else to that remark. “Well, I guess I’m up for this as long as it’s fun.” As simple as that! “The moment I get bored, I’ll probably disappear.”After this statement from the unnamed Syakkomon, Rotto just looked back at the cat-lady. “Well, she does have a point. I don’t want to stay around if it’s not going to bring me any benefit.” For being so young, the Dorimon looked like an avid negotiator. “So, tell me. What is your plan for getting us to Re-Re Island?” That question was aimed towards the Bastemon and the two humans. Keriann just looked at Yukiko and then at Sho. “Re-Re… Island?” Well, she definitely had no answers for the little ones! OOC:Inventory -Old Coins [Misc item] [Mizu] -Mysterious Card [??] [Waiting...]

Pushing back a chair and sitting oh so delicately upon the wooden seat, the Bastemon crossed their legs. It was wistful, taking in everything with a sigh. It drank up everyone's attention as it held on the air, curling it's lips into the smile of a delighted captain. When it opened their eyes to face everybody, they could tell that they'd found their crew, all in one fell swoop. "Well, if you want the plan, perk up your ears and I'll break it down. Because the operation has already begun..." It so serenely spoke beneath their velvet veil. "We have three steps here. Accrue a crew, pry the boards, and astoundingly abscond. Each of them using all of us to travel not only to Re-Re Island, but beyond into the open waters after we retrieve the information we need from that point. Our mission here is one of science and exploration, and both require experimentation and interaction! Which means more run-ins with pirates...are inevitable..." Sho gave an expectant leer towards the Syakkomon, hoping to pique their interest with that little tidbit. "Accruing the crew was a two part plan, concerned with gathering information and the people with the skills we need for a successful mission. Naturally, you're all here, so congrats, you've already started helping us. The other portion of the plan? It's happening right over there~" Sho flicked a swift claw towards Mizu conversing at the bar, rotating their ears towards the conversation as they spoke. "They're gathering information about the shipping corporation right now, and from what it sounds like, it's going successfully...they're our only chance of getting a vessel for the trip, but most of us should already know this. If you didn't, now you do." Sho nodded, holding up two claws now to signify that they were moving on. "Next step, prying the boards. Now you might already have an idea about what this step involves, sounds kinda sketchy, right? Surprise! It is. We're going to retrieve a licensed or 'licensed' vessel, depending on how slick our words are, and as many supplies as we possibly can. This'll be a long journey after all, and the name that our Syakkomon friend has here might help us with that. We get in, we get out, we're on the water. Keep that in mind, everyone." Sho nodded to everybody before raising their third claw.
"The third step is the 'on the water' part. Absconding Astoundingly! Which really just means getting out and looking fabulous for those of us too cool to keep our noses constantly stuck in a book." That line had some bite to it, coming from the bookworm. "But, practically it means we're getting out of here with codenames, disguises, and without any trace. Re-Re Island is on high alert, and if anything goes wrong? We don't want our identities to be on the hook. For my club compatriots, we'll be publishing from 'unnamed primary sources' if you catch my drift. It's for that reason that we're called the Merry Maritime LARPers!" They whispered excitedly, as they had been for the previous discussion of the plan.
"So what do you say?" Sho inquired, sending a seeking eye around the whole group.

While not everyone seemed to be entirely convinced with each part of this plan, Sho had made an outstanding job to keep everyone interested, with her fancy wording and her intense speech. The fact that she had ended up inside this quirky assembly, seemed to be blowing Keriann’s mind. However, she eventually showed a dim smile, which only came to overshadow her shocked expression. It was clear she was still in some type of trance, the one where most humans entered upon reaching the Digital World, wondering if all of this was or not a dream. Once Sho was done with their speech, the little girl clapped shyly. What? She thought it was an exciting speech! “Finding more pirates around the sea does sound exciting…” The Syakkomon admitted, gazing at the roof, seemingly thinking. “… I guess I could help you get in one of those boats. It actually was what I wanted to do from start.” She seemed to understand Rotto was not willing to go into this adventure just with her, so she kind of needed the whole group if she wanted to stay around the Dorimon. “My father is an important scientist. I definitely don’t know much about research and all of that stuff, but I guess I can adapt.” “No!” Rotto immediately hopped forward. “Listen…” He looked at Sho. “… I’m telling you, this digimon means trouble!” He effusively explained, pointing with half of his body at the Syakkomon. “We shouldn’t be using her influences to get anywhere. She’s dangerous. She will get us in trouble. She is always getting me in trouble. She’s the Apple of Discord of our generation, I mean this!”Was this Syakkomon that bad? Keriann stared at the little clam, who was just standing there, with her adorableness at full. The human tilted her head, honestly a bit confused, while scratching her cheek with her index finger. “Come on, Rotto. Don’t be such a killjoy~ I'm not that bad.” The Syakkomon giggled. With a sigh, the Dorimon turned back towards Sho and Yukiko. “I’ll stay with you until we get to Re-Re Island, because it’s not like I have any other choice.” They did seem like the only ones with a clear plan to take him to his destination. “I’ll go too!” The Syakkomon added. “But… please, let’s try to keep her out of this as much as possible. She’s constantly ruining my plans.” Rotto asked politely. He seemed to be insisting a lot to not use the Syakkomon's influences to get inside a boat. They seemed to have reached a little impasse here, even if it didn’t seem like anything they couldn’t solve. Keriann looked at Yukiko and then at Sho. “W-Well… maybe we should wait to have all of the information about this company to decide how we’re getting in a licensed boat.” She noted, looking at Mizu around the bar, who still had to decide if she was taking the card from the bartender and come back to share all of the information she had gathered. “If we can avoid using the slimy clam’s influences, just so Rotto isn’t upset… That would be nice.” She whispered that last part of the sentence, blushing a little bit. Someone found this Dorimon really adorable! Other than these small differences, Sho's underlying of the plan seemed to be convincing! The crew seemed ready to go, once Mizu provided the necessary information. OOC:Inventory -Old Coins [Misc item] [Mizu] -Mysterious Card [??] [Waiting...]
