Recap time!
Through a simple flier and some members thriving for adventure, the Pirates of the Treasure was formed.
As a first step towards finding Astrivia, the group traveled in its ship, the Age of Erika, towards Uka Island, looking for Elecmon, a scientist and cartographer. After splitting, half of the group met Yiro, the Gabumon, while Koharu and the others ended up finding a couple of very familiar faces for some of the members at the Aftermath. Before they could find any logical explanation for this appearance, they met Barbara, the Tinkermon, only to be interrupted by The Navy, who was chasing her and her crew, the Chaos Pirates.
After finding out Barbara was in the island, Erika set a plan in motion, while Fuu discovered all of the secrets about the GATE Program, the software built by Elecmon that could supposedly take someone wherever in the Digital World with only a piece of its source data, once completed.
Following Barbara's trace, Koharu and the others reached the Silence Forest, only to find a strange Mikemon and be trapped inside the GATE program, actually finding the Tinkermon inside of it. The info coming from Fuu helped set them free, although it also brought the revelation Barbara was a Treasure Hunter, looking for Elecmon too. The Tinkermon and Zami, her companion, had found out Elecmon was disguised as Mikemon after questioning the only digimon who knew, an Erismon who was at the Aftermath. A battle unfolded and the Pirates of the Treasure were defeated. At the brink of Bu's death, her sister and Erika arrived on time to save her, bringing the revelation Barbara is actually Erika's sister and Erika is a Treasure Hunter too.
Only with Elecmon's D-Terminal, the Pirates of the Treasure managed to escape Uka Island, thanks to Yiro, who became the new member of the crew. Knowing Barbara is going to try to complete the GATE program too, the pirates try to find a trace of what was Elecmon's next step, getting a lead to Zarayah Kabuno, a programmer and Treasure Hunter who has been captured and locked inside of Grimway, a maximum-security prison.
After taking a two-days break to recover from the gruesome battle, the pirates reunite again.
So far, they know of the existence of three Treasure Hunters. But it is obvious for everyone these individuals are playing a very important role in their search for Astrivia. "C-Captain... you s-should probably stay still."
Yiro, who had been staring at Erika for almost fifteen minutes watching her walk from one side of the deck to the other, was getting a bit dizzy. This was probably not seasickness, due to the ship being currently docked in Whitewater, pretty much at the same place where the crew had formed. "I gave them a couple of days, with the sole condition they had to be here at 10 o'clock so we could sail towards our next destination!" Erika hissed, her hands on her waist and leaning forward to address her crewmate. "Y-Yes but..." "No buts! Even if I'm sure it took her a while to recover too, Sister is probably looking for a way of getting into Grimway already! We need to get going!" Giving a burst of little jumps in the same spot, Erika showed her... hyperactivity. Yes. Let's call it that. "I-I understand! But..." "But what!?" "I-It's 9:58..."
Immediately, an evident blush took over Erika's face. "R-Right... I... I knew that." She shyly replied, her eyes going elsewhere. Then! They went back to the pelted pirate. "Say, Yiro..." Oh, oh. Three days in this crew had been enough for the Gabumon to know what this meant. He was being teased. "... aren't you happy about seeing Kon-chan again?" That, right there, in that expression? Pure smugness. "W-W-Why would you ask s-somet-thing like that!?"
To this, the captain just burst into laughter. Well, the group should be here anytime now. What kind of new surprises would they bring along? OOC: Inventory:
-How to read and draw nautical charts. Beginners' Edition. (Book) [Koharu] -Elecmon's D-Terminal (Crucial item) [Erika]

After a rather harrowing trip to Uka Island, the twins had been given a reprieve of two days by their beloved captain. To put things lightly, a lot of things had occurred in those two days that, while the author is not very obliged to divulge the details of AT THIS MOMENT, actually were rather significant in the long run.
The trio were making their way to the meeting place. That's right, a trio. Why? Because they had somehow procured a goddamn human from somewhere in the Northern Prominence that turned out to be their tamer. "So, that ship over there's the one that belongs to your captain, right?" Yui inquired towards an uncharacteristically happy Fuu, who nodded quite ecstatically. "Yes!"
"Try not to mind Erika, she's a bit hyperactive." Bu noted, yawning. 10 o'clock was so EARLY for her... "Hey, where were we going again...?" The Ryudamon wondered aloud. Meanwhile, Yui called out, "HEY! Is this the Age of Erika? I've got your crewmates right here!"
"...Yui you're not supposed to SAY THAT OUT LOUD, WHAT THE HELL?" Fuu hissed! They were a few feet from the meeting spot anyways!

Who said 'leave a boy to his own device for three days and he'll return a man'? To be honest, it strangely apt to say something about Koharu. She's definitely not a boy, nor a man, but her eyes perhaps has looked more determined as she disembarked from her precious vessel, Van Eltia. It's a submarine, and it just recently resurfaced. Koharu quickly returned it to her Digivice.
There is... a rather solemn expression on her face as she looked at her entourage. She's aware of the recently added human, and there's Yiro... She suddenly slapped both of her cheeks, seem to pump herself up. "Yosh...! Good mornin everyone! Your sailing masters are here!"
"And your master of arms I guess," Kon-chan commented with a smile. "Looking sharp, Yiro. Did the captain give you any trouble? Anyway, we're here..."
"...Unfortunately we have yet to master any new form," Warg commented sadly. "Got tied in another adventure, but glad to see that we're still on time. Either way... I think it's safe to say we can reach Ultimate stage now."
"Perfect is more plausible," Kon-chan commented "but if push come to shove like previous time, we won't hesitate to evolve to Ultimate stage, Anyway, got any update, Captain? Or should we sail first?"

If it were possible, Erika’s ears would have perked up as soon as she heard a voice calling for her from the distance. A true relief for Yiro, who could stop being teased for a moment!
The captain’s eyes widened up as she watched a human approximating the ship, along with two of her crewmates.
“They brought another human…” The Gabumon muttered, looking fairly shocked. How was the captain going to react to this new discovery? How was she going to react to someone saying out loud the name of her ship in the middle of Whitewater? Was she going to be enraged? Was she going to…?
“HEY! Thank you! Could you bring them here right now!?” She called out back, waving her arms in the air.
“I should have known…”
Erika’s effusive shouting would be interrupted by the rest of her crew, actually coming from the water!
“You’re here!” Immediately, she ran towards Koharu and the twins to give a tight hug to each of them. Her face had definitely lightened up from having her crew around. “Right.” Both hands around her waist, she tackled Koharu’s question, after ending their tight hug. “I really don’t like to stay docked for long.” She confessed. “However…” Now, her eyes drifted towards the blue sky, illuminated by the bright Whitewater morning sun.
“… I feel once we sail this time. We might not have a break in a while. So… you should make sure you don’t have any pending commitment before we leave this place.”
The statement made sense. They were about to embark on a quest to enter the most terrifying prison in the Digital World. This would not, by any means, be something easy to achieve. With that in mind, it was likely their pirate duties would extend for more than one day this time.
If the crew considered they had taken care of everything they needed, they would set sail immediately, going north.
“I will give out more specific directions once end our first reunion of the day.” And, in case it was not obvious, the captain was calling everyone to gather around the table located at the deck, which had become their usual spot for reunions lately. “We were so tired and everything happened so fast that I was not able to catch your impressions about our trip to Uka Island last time. I would like you to tell me everything you think about the GATE Program, Elecmon, Sister, the results of our quest and anything you consider relevant to point out.” She declared
After letting out a sigh, knowing that there were some things she needed to address, even if it was hard to talk about them, the pirate proceeded. “I also want everyone to ask away any questions you have about our trip, Astrivia, the Elecmon matter, me or any other doubts you have.”
“If that’s okay with you, I would like to start with one question of my own!” Erika slammed one hand against the table and raised her index finger into the air. Her arm went down and pointed at… “Who the hell are you?”
… Yui.
“W-We already sailed and she is in our crew reunion… I-Isn’t it a little bit late for that?” Yiro sweatdropped.

To the utter amazement of Fuu, her beloved captain was not enraged at her tamer briefly imbibing upon what one would call the, 'dumb bitch juice' (in her eyes) and shouting that in the middle of Whitewater. Which she found odd. Nonetheless, Yui and co. made their way onto the deck of the ship, with Yui adjusting her hat while she waited for Erika to bring the others aboard.
"Well, good thing none of us have any pending commitments that we didn't already take care of before we got here, then, right?" Bu chuckled. Once they had set sail? They had some things to discuss right off the bat. On the mention of the GATE System, Fuu drew her D-Nexus and once more offered it to Erika. It was set to play the recording at the press of a button. "Right, I didn't get to show you what I managed to get down in audio. Essentially, he was working on a system that revolves around proverbial gears to travel to and from places--Elecmon himself stated that it could be used to find places that nobody had ever seen before, too."
"We even got to test out how to shut down one gear back in the forest before that wh-" Bu paused as she caught Yui giving a slightly disappointed look at whatever it was she was about to call Erika's sister. "...Barbara tried to kill us. So, that was a thing. The Zamielmon also took Elecmon before Fuu could grab him." She wouldn't speak further, in case Koharu and the twins wanted to add on to anything.
Meanwhile, Yui was confronted with a question towards her, the relative stranger to this bustle. Who was she? Fuu had been about to answer for her, but the woman held up a hand. "I can speak for myself. Thank you, though." Didn't seem too late at all, but Yui seemed perfectly calm. "I'm Yui. Kita Yui if you want my surname, too. I haven't really been around here for long but these two found me in a cavern up north. It's...a pretty long story, honestly, so I won't bore you with those details! Point is, I kind of know what's going on here and who you are. Mostly because Bu and Fuu did their best to get me up to speed on the way here."
Now...
"...So, what's Grimway? And who specifically are we searching for, Captain Erika?"

The captain’s hug felt reassuring to Koharu… yet at the same time, part of them felt like a bit hollow after what happened in the three days break. It can’t be helped though. Koharu just smiled at the captain and the rest of the crew.
“...Right, there are several things that bugged me, so let’s do this slowly for the meantime… Shall we just go under the deck, lest someone decided that our ship is too conspicuous?” Koharu suggested.
But turned out, they’re not going under the deck. They’re sitting on the deck… again, just like when it’s time for food. In life or death situation together sure acted well as a glue for their camaraderie is it not? Warg however let out a small puff of black smog as Erika mentioned about her sister.
“...Alright, regarding that, let’s start slow… First, regarding the GATE… As we believe that you’re our ally, we’d like to say first and foremost, our KIZNA HQ has given order to recruit Professor Elecmon as soon as possible. He has deemed a core target for our recruitment. We need his GATE system for a personal project of ours you see… A Netspace, which is basically a border between the real world and digital world where we can test waters about human world and digital world relationship.
Of course ultimately whether Professor Elecmon would like to jump in with our KIZNA ideal or not is up to him. We deemed him beneficial, and would like to support him. Of course, we’ll support you too in our capabilities. Helping you is also treated as a priority,” Koharu explained.
“GATE Program is essentially beneficial for the world if used right, but thinking of an imaginary space where you can invade people, or even invade some place just by having digital signature of the place is extremely scary prospect,” Kon-chan commented. “In the war, naval and land battles tends to be decided by who have the aerial superiority. In case of Aerial at least you can see your opponent, but what about where your opponent suddenly appeared out of nowhere and gave you no time to react to their appearance? Hell, they could just plant a bomb, get back to hyperspace, then adieu!”
“Indeed… While I’m not sure Barbara would do that, her chaos loving personality is too much of a wild card. I’d rather not leave such bright mind in hand of such person.”
….About Barbara… “....Pardon me for saying this, captain, but in my opinion, your sister is a major bitch,” Warg commented. “Fratricide is certainly not my idea of sibling rivalry, but do you think you can fight with her while holding back? I understand she’s a family, but if she endangers my sister or my partner, surely you understand that I can’t hold back? Bu and Fuu here are like our nieces. I cannot possibly face their father and say ‘Sorry dude, your daughters got KIA’d!”
“That aside, however, we’ll try as best as we can to avoid any sort of trouble with her.,” Kon-chan reassured.
The result of their quest huh…
“...Frankly, it’s less than optimum,” Koharu muttered. “...Or at least I feel so. If only we’re faster, we might have done this differently… I’m ashamed, part of the reason why we’re late… the earlier part was a blunder on my part.”
“It cannot be helped,” Kon-chan commented. “...Is it true that you met two Kyos?”
“...Right, I have several questions about it,” Warg turned to Erika. “First… What the fuck was that? Was that part of Chaos Pirate’s shit? Because somehow Anego and I met this… two strange beings. If you want to say that these are illusions, it felt a bit too real. Not to mention… they have knowledge that seem to be only available to me… hell, it’s possible that they know about parallel Digital World. What on earth?”
Kon-chan made a disgruntled noise. “...So it was true.”
“One of them… apparently my… late boyfriend had her as a partner… and… she threatened her ‘double’ that she’ll call for him. If this was some sort of ruse, then… I don’t think my heart could take it. I was amnesiac you see… and I… I don’t think I’ll stay sane if I were to meet him,” Koharu explained.
“That aside… There are things that I’d like to know… First the machine down there,” Kon-chan pointed under the deck. “And secondly… what differs between treasure hunter and a pirate anyway? Why it sounded like Treasure Hunter had a really bad reputation?”
What else?
"...Also, please tell us about your history, Captain. Astrivia... doesn't sounds like it's just a mound of treasure. From how desperate you sisters are... I believe you trusted something greater is there."

With a slight bow of her head, Erika thanked the Dorumon, taking the D-Nexus to play the record so everyone could hear it. Now, it was safe to assume everyone was aware of the information in Elecmon’s notes. “I can say, without a doubt, the Chaos Pirates' goal is to take Elecmon to finish his research so they can get to Astrivia.” Erika stated, holding a serious expression. “So far, it doesn’t seem like the GATE Program would be unable to reach that place, as long as it used a piece of its data. A signature, as you called it.” About that? More information was about to be delivered to the rest of the crew by their captain. Speaking of their crew! What about their new crewmate? “I don’t have a last name, so I'll call you Yui.” The captain smiled at the pirate newbie. “So you are… Bu and Fuu's tamer? Just like Koharu is Kon and Warg’s?” She asked, her eyes widening up slightly. Once the answer was obvious, the orange-haired puffed her cheeks and folded her arms. “Well, that’s a shame! I was kind of expecting it was ME all along!” Was that a joke? It didn’t seem like it was! “… But! If you’re their friend, you’re my friend too. By watching Koharu, I can definitely tell the bond of a tamer and their digimon is special, and they will do anything to protect them. I’m glad Fuu and Bu have someone like that by their side.” Erika mustered a melancholic smile, before looking at the rest of the crew, who were throwing their own impressions, mainly focused on Barbara. “That sounds very interesting.” She mused about the existence of this Netspace. “Maybe too complicated for me. But definitely interesting.” Well, that came with a nod. She definitely could understand the dangers behind this program. “I definitely do not intend to leave Elecmon at Sister’s disposal. I am sure we’re bumping into her again, due to the path we’re following is exactly the same that leads to the program’s being finished. Wherever this programmer is, the Chaos Pirates will get there sooner or later. When we find them again, we need to try to recover Elecmon.”But…! “That being said, although KIZNA and the Pirates of the Treasure might have the same goal right now: which is getting Elecmon away from Sister’s hands, I need to ask you to prioritize our interests while you’re working with us. That means, once we find him, he’s staying with our crew until we complete the GATE Program and find Astrivia. Then, I feel he’d be honored to work with KIZNA, and you would be able to offer him protection, which is also nice.” That had to be clear. If they were looking for Elecmon along the Pirates of the Treasure, the Pirates of the Treasure’s interest were first, then, KIZNA’s. While they spoke about Barbara, Erika folded her arms again, laying her rear against the table while listening to her crewmates. “I think it is impossible to avoid trouble when Sister is involved. She is the incarnation of trouble, almost literally!” She exclaimed. “I was not holding back before and I do not intend to hold back, ever. I’m going to fight with everything I have against her if I have to, even if I can’t change her mind.” To that extent, Erika felt it was important to clarify something. “I did not want to get out of Uka Island because I was holding back. It was because I felt we stood no chance against her. And we didn’t. If that battle had lasted a bit longer…” Her eyes glanced at Bu for a second, going along a sentence she did not want to finish. “Seeing how she almost defeated the three of you by herself, I don’t think I have to tell you the Chaos Pirates are way out of our league right now in terms of power. But… even if that’s not enough.” She sighed. “The digimon who was with her, Zami, is even stronger than she is. And even beyond that, the captain of the Chaos Pirates is far stronger!” Was she making herself clear? “We are not ready to fight them one of one. We need to deceive them, we need to be smarter than them. It’s not about holding back. Trust me, if I had the power…” Erika looked at her hands before clenching them into fists. “… if I could, by any means, defeat them, I would. I’m not good at being smart. I suck at that! But… I know we have to be a step ahead to come out victorious against them. Because if we take the game to the raw power field, they'll win."Now, she gazed at her whole crew. “Please, don’t misunderstand. I’m not saying I don’t trust all of you. I do. I think we can win. Kayo! I think we are going to win. I just want to make sure you guys know what the right strategy is right now because I don’t want you to be in danger... like you were in Uka Island.” It was clear she still felt guilty about that, huh? Leaving that topic behind, Erika focused on the situation that had taken place inside The Aftermath. Wrinkling her mouth, she only contributed with an answer once they were done speaking. “That sounds extremely weird, no doubt. I have no idea what that could be about but… you mentioned Sister was there, right? If it felt that real to you, it’s likely it wasn’t an illusion. Knowing her, I wouldn’t put it past her to find a way to mess up with you guys’ heads. She is harmful both physically and psychologically, after all.” And she knew that for a fact. “In any case, we can investigate more about it once we find them again, to see if they were somehow related to that weird event. Maybe an old friend of mine knows something about the whole matter. Make sure to ask him when we meet him!” Who was she talking about? That would probably be explained when the round of questions was over. “Oh. I told you and Bu everything I knew about that before. It belonged to my dad, and it is called a Radio Receiver. I was hoping it could work as a radar for us, and also help us intercept messages from other pirates or incoming Navy troops. But I figure you still haven’t got it fully operational, right? What is it missing?”Another sigh. “Yes. I will tell you everything about me and Sister. Why is she looking for Astrivia and everything else regarding that topic.” The pirate looked a bit saddened again. “But… just wait a little more okay? Once we get to our next destination, I swear everything will be more clear.”
That was for that, and…! “Right. The Treasure Hunters.” Again, a dead-serious countenance! “Yiro…?”“W-Why are you asking me?” A bit startled, the pelted digimon took a step back. “Well we were talking about this topic yesterday and you seemed to know a lot more than me!”“Well, definitely not a lot…” The Gabumon muttered. “What I knew about the Treasure Hunters was what I told you when you joined.” Erika explained, looking at her crew. “To quickly recap, they were a group of pirates looking for treasures around the world. The legendary pirate who’s said to have found Astrivia was a Treasure Hunter. However, due to the incident, Treasure Hunters received a bad reputation, being called liars and cheaters. Sister and I were raised by a Treasure Hunter, so we are Treasure Hunters too. But…”
Erika glanced back at the Gabumon “… according to what Yiro told me, apparently, some new pirates are receiving the name of Treasure Hunters, based on how dangerous they are for other pirates or the Navy. I guess the Navy and different islands are using this term to refer to pirates who represent some type of peril and must be captured right now. They’re basically taking advantage of the name already being stained to englobe all dangerous criminals. That’s not fair. Original Treasure Hunters like my dad were not bad people!”“A-Although that could bring us to split what Treasure Hunters are in two terminologies, I believe it’s best if we just combine them into one.” Yiro voiced his opinion shyly. “To put it shortly, Treasure Hunters are pirates with a terrifying level of power and/or pirates who have committed important crimes against the Navy or any of the states established in each island. Apparently, if a pirate becomes dangerous enough, the Navy will start calling it a Treasure Hunter. I am sure someone who knows a lot more about Treasure Hunters can give you further information but… I know there are only nine of them in the world right now. We have one in our crew. The captain’s sister is another one. Zarayah Kabuno also has the tittle, and… right, the captain knows about another one.” So? Who was it? Who was the fourth Treasure Hunter!? “That being said, my tittle as a Treasure Hunter is not deemed for being powerful, but more because of me embracing it because of my dad!” Erika scratched the back of her head, smiling awkwardly. “I-I don’t think the Navy cares a lot about what you call yourself. They call you like that because you did commit a very harmful crime, captain.” Yiro explained. “Oh…! Right.”It seemed like the round of questions was not over, right? Too much stuff pending!

"Which makes me wonder if they even have a piece of Astrivia to do this with..." Fuu mused aloud. Yui, meanwhile, offered a nod towards Erika. "Alright. Mostly everyone just calls me that anyways, so it's no problem, Captain." The woman threw a smile her way. "And yeah. Just like how Koharu's the tamer of those two dragons." ...If Erika -were- the tamer of the twins, they'd have likely found out a long time ago back on Uka Island, now that Yui thought about it. "I'm honestly more glad they have people like you to count on--You've known them far longer than I have. So, with that in mind, I'd also argue you have a bond with them that's as special as mine! Right?"
Bu looked to the Manzai dragons and Koharu.
"...We know what we're getting into, so I doubt any of us have any reason to hold back. That being said, we'll be a bit more prepared if we face off with the captain's sister again. Would be kinda disastrous if either of our dads found out we got gibbed by a fairy, though..." They at least seemed to understand what was being said, which was quite impressive when one considers Yui being relatively new to all of this. Speaking of Yui? She finally had another question to ask.
"You mean to tell me that your sister isn't heading the Chaos Pirates, then?" The human inquired, while Fuu tapped her chin. "...That's something I considered. There -were- only two of them when we encountered them...And Barbara doesn't seem like the leader type, from what Bu's told me."
Speaking of, Bu glanced towards Kon-chan. They were the ones in charge of getting that radio going, yes, but they weren't able to get it done last time... "...Hey, you remember what we were doing with that?" Cause she sure didn't. At the very least they had a clarification of what being a Treasure Hunter could spell regarding particular individuals...
"...So they're basically staining the name that your dad left to you." Fuu surmised. "...That does sound more than a little unfair. Plus it'd give you reason to go and clear the name of the Treasure Hunters...Who's the fourth, Captain?" The question of what Grimway was was also not answered, either...
There was a lot of explanation to be done here.

Doesn't sounds like Erika is a human to begin with anyway... or at least Kon-chan felt so. What human can do projection? That's not a no-clone.So unless it's an artifact, all she can think is that Erika is a Digimon instead... albeit probably one without fighting power or very low one, who knows.
"Like we said, we'll prioritizes your need over us for the meantime," Koharu replied. "so that's not an issue the slightest. We deemed that it's safer that way anyway for the professor. "
Regarding the power, it's obvious. Koharu had no comment to that, and Kon-chan merely nodded. Basically they're both outpowered and outnumbered. Does they have to fight against a super ultimate? She have no idea, but she'd prefer if she could find something to gain leverage against them.
".........So power most likely won't do much against them... how do you suggest we proceed?" Kon-chan asked the captain. "Normally when it comes to situation like this you'd think that being stronger is the way, but I know for sure it's hopeless to try to rush to be stronger... is there is really no way but wits? Is there any weakness that we can use?"
"Or better, do you know the structure of their crew? I heard something about "Black" and "Blue"..." Warg added.
Kon-chan looked at Bu on her question. "I stopped on that, and never really touched it again. The captain told us to eat after all, then after our defeat at Uka Island, I was so busy with devising way to win next time so much that I forgotten about it... I guess the next logical choice is to fix it up then?"
Speaking of which about the recorder...
"Captain, do you or Fuu found the person that Elecmon is told you to find in the Aftermath?" Koharu asked. "Something about Herissmon or what..."
Treasure hunter... honestly, compared to Pirate or Sea Bandit or Shi***bukai, or even Yon**u, that sounded less intimidating. What does the Navy have in mind when they picked that name anyway? The crime again, it's being brought up.
"...Did you stole some piece of Astrivia from the Navy?" Kon-chan asked. "That's the only thing I can think about."

“Exactly.” As soon as Yui issued her comment about who’s leading the Chaos Pirates, Erika responded with a nod. “Sister is a Sailing Master. These Black and Blue you mention must be some of their crewmates? I have never seen them before, so I can’t elaborate further on that.”“Oh. R-Right. The captain.” Yiro seemed to have remembered what Erika told him yesterday. “Two questions. The same answer.” Erika raised her index and middle finger, counting two. Then, she slowly slid her middle finger behind. “The captain of the Chaos Pirates and… the fourth Treasure Hunter… is the same digimon.”Ouch. “T-That’s why the Chaos Pirates are one of the most wanted pirate crews around the whole world.” Yiro added. “T-They have… two Treasure Hunters in the same crew.”Now, the group would probably understand Erika was not exaggerating about the immense power Barbara’s crew had. “I think someone very important is trying to hide that from people. I have never seen this Treasure Hunter's name in any newspaper and, even if I had read about the Chaos Pirates before, they never talk about their captain. So the information our Captain is giving us is very valuable and probably unknown to many.”Holding a very serious expression, Erika looked at the sky. “I only know this because I met him personally. That day. He never told me his name, though. I just know… he is immensely powerful. That digimon… is not a mere representation of power. He is… sheer power.” The pirate mused, a firm gaze on her countenance. She did not seem scared… just… worried. “I’ll tell you more about how I met him later, okay?” She changed that expression into a smile and then tackled the next question. “I am sure we can eventually find some weakness in them, but right now… I can’t think of any. You have fought them, though!” She now looked at her whole crew. “So… if anyone can find any weakness on them, that would be you.”The question about that Herismon would keep the topic around the Chaos Pirates. Erika started by shaking her head. “I hadn’t heard the recording back then, so I didn’t know Elecmon had mentioned any Herissmon.” She confessed. “But that’s okay. We couldn’t have gone to meet that Herissmon anyways. Mainly because we had to go and save you all fast, but also because the Aftermath had already been raided by the Navy by then.” That was very much true! However… “You did mention the Zamielmon came out of a room at the Aftermath and told Sister something after you met her, right?” Erika now looked at Warg. “What was it?”If the Guilmon tried to reminisce... “So? Did you find anything?”
“It’s done. We know where he is. I think there is something at the Research Lab, but we might not have the time to look for it.” “Judging by those words… I would say they found the Herissmon at the Aftermath first and questioned him. If they had been following Elecmon, it’s likely they found out they were friends. It was probably the Herissmon who told them Elecmon was hiding as a Mikemon in the forest!” That was… yes, a very logical conclusion. “That would also explain why was Elecmon worried about his friend, according to what you told me. Since the Chaos Pirates knew Elecmon was Mikemon, he assumed they had found Herissmon first, who was the only one who knew. Elecmon was afraid they had hurt his friend.” Erika wrinkled her mouth, her eyes looking at the deck. “It’s a shame we can’t go back to Uka Island. I hope he’s okay.” “I wonder how everything would have turned out if you had found Herissmon first…” His claw on his snout, Yiro mused. Well! No point in thinking about that now, right?. Well, the road had brought them to a very important question, at last. Actually, Kon went ahead and put a possibility on the table. Erika? She giggled. “You’re very smart, Kon.” Out of her pocket, Erika took out a white and blue shiny sphere. It was not just any object. Just by looking at it, everyone could feel the power irradiating from the artifact. Yiro, on his side, made the weirdest sound a Gabumon had ever made before going “T-That is…!?” “Sorry, Yiro.” Erika stuck out her tongue showing an apologetic expression. “While we did share a lot of stuff during the last few days, I wanted the whole crew to be around when I showed you all this.”“T-THAT IS…!?” Yiro was FREAKING OUT SO MUCH OH MY GOD. And there was a very good reason. “This is the reason why I am a wanted criminal, therefore a Treasure Hunter.” While Erika held the sphere with her right hand, she pointed at it with her left index finger. “Remember I told you the Treasure Hunter who found Astrivia more than a thousand years ago sent an item that he claimed to have found in the city to the king of Pabo Island?” Oh god. It was… this was actually a piece of Astrivia!? "T-T-THE CAPTAIN HAS...!?" “This is the reason why I know that, even if Sister manages to complete Elecmon’s GATE program, she still won’t be able to reach Astrivia just yet. She is missing the only ‘signature’ of data of Astrivia that exists. Why? because I have it.” That left hand had made a peace sign while Erika showed one of her very wide, sincerest smiles. “She won't be able to reach Astrivia through that method while I have…” “THE ASTRIVIA SPHERE!?”Yiro's voice echoed throughout the air, making the seagulls standing at the railroad of the deck fly away.

Okay, okay. So Barbara was only the Sailing Master--akin to Koharu's own role within the Pirates of the Treasure. Of course, Yui felt it pertinent to mention this. "...We'll probably figure out where to put Elecmon at when we rescue him. If we do so, at the very least." She stated.
The trio weren't in disbelief about the power held by the Chaos Pirates, but they were still pretty certain they could take them if they got the drop on them, though that was still a solid if. "...Two Treasure Hunters...That sounds more than a little much, doesn't it?" Fuu murmured, quietly.
"Who...Er. What was he?" Bu, of all people, inquired. Sheer power? ...Yeah, she kinda wanted to at least have some idea of what this person was. Not so she could fight them, obviously. Well, maybe a little, but one could get the picture, yes?
It was true that they fought them...Well, Bu, Kon-chan and Warg did. "...You -are- correct. Barbara's general fighting style involved disruption via a number of area of effect abilities. As well as being quicker than us. But...A flair for the dramatic left her open to being hit by Fuu. Anything else?"
There was indeed no sense in dwelling upon Herissmon. What was done was done. Perhaps they could return to Uka Island at another time, after everything was over. Upon the revelation by Kon that Erika had legitimately stolen a piece of Astrivia, Fuu and Yui's eyes both widened, though they were not making any weird noises like Yiro had been, as Erika promptly procured...
An orb. A very, very important orb that some might kill for.
"A missing link..." Fuu murmured. "...So if we get Elecmon's research completed, we could use this to get to Astrivia..." The Dorumon muttered. "Does it...do anything? How have you kept this safe?"

"New recruit, perhaps?" Kon-chan offered. "The again from the sound of it... they know where exactly we are the moment we landed on Uka Island... If it's some sort of coincidence, then it's too much of a coincidence. Since when are they aware? How... how are we being intercepted?"
"Perhaps, the thing under the deck? Did it accidentally send signal to them?" Warg suggested.
"But if that's the case... is it possible to know the entirety of our team's identity?"
"...How complicated."
Mmmm, major pain int he ass. Looks like they got two superpowers. How annoying. Kon-chan crossed her arms. Indeed they have fought with Barbara, but honestly she only can think the way of how to fight Barbara is to avoid her attack... and that's mostly impossible. They could try to reflect it back at her, but... would it work? Or is there any better way to do that?
"Basically, don't let her hit you," Warg said. "Something seem to be conditional about her ability. Acting double might actually spend her move repertoire faster."
"...We need the artifact..." Kon-chan muttered. "We need it as fast as we can if we want a fighting chance."
"The artifact huh... seem to be a steep climb."
"Regardless, we need it... I can't see we can break out of that paralysis before we could make our personal artifact. But as far as we're concerned... we only have 2 out of 12 huh."
"Vexing, vexing," Warg commented.
That aside... "Yes, apparently they already know about the whereabout of the Elecmon. Asking what ifs probably not going to help... Mainly because I think even in 1/9000 chance that we ignored those two Kyos, we probably wouldn't have be able to prevent what happened to Herissmon... If we somehow ends up in middle of interrogation, we'll pull unnecessary danger to ourselves," Warg reasoned.
Yiro though, should calm down. Kon-chan immediately pulled him and kissed him on the muzzle. "...Sssh... what if people heard? Sure we're in whitewater, but..."
Well she moves fast. Warg whistled in amusement. "So this is what you stole from the Navy. I can't believe you did that... Are you actually someone who pretends to be silly but actually really scary if you're serious, Captain? Either way, I think that concludes questioning on our part... well, somewhat. Should we begin discussing what we bought?"
"I have bought myself something from KIZNA store," Koharu commented. "I have no idea how useful it'll be, but in case we escape and need to heal, I have the right object."
"That aside, what should we do for now?"

“I don’t… know his species.” With a sigh, Erika admitted. “He had a big hat, though. He didn’t look like any digimon I’ve seen before but… I haven’t seen that many, honestly.” Well, that wasn’t much information regarding the topic, certainly. “If I see him again, I’ll definitely be able to tell you it’s him, though.”
After hearing at her crew’s input, Erika wrinkled her mouth, her arms folded. “It does sound like the best way to approach this is either to stop her from reaching two of us with her attacks or letting her do it until she can’t use her energy any longer.” Of course, which of this was the right path or if either made sense should be revealed as they fought more against her.
“Exactly!” Erika confirmed Fuu’s suspicion. “We already have the Astrivia Sphere, so we just need to complete the GATE Program. Even if many still claim it is uncertain if this actually is a piece of Astrivia or not…” She mused while staring at the object. “… I just feel it is. Something inside of me is telling me this belongs to Astrivia.”
Besides, the Navy probably wouldn’t be so interested in catching her if it was just some random shiny sphere, right? That type of logical input right there would have been offered by Yiro… if he weren’t completely oblivious of his surroundings, blushing madly and sitting on the deck while staring at the sky.
“I think you broke him, Kon!” Erika quipped.
As usual, the captain would become easily distracted! In this case, more interested in Koharu’s words.
“Kayo!” The Treasure Hunter leaned forward over the table, getting really close to her Sailing Master. “Did you bring something for me, Koharu? Is it a gift? Is it a treasure!?” She was… visibly excited. Even if it was never said the thing was specifically for her!
“Oh, right!” Upon the mentioning of their destination, Erika finally considered it was time to decide. “Our next goal is to enter Grimway, a maximum-security prison where Zarayah Kabuno is being held. Grimway is a very dangerous place and it’s heavily guarded by the Navy. We’ll definitely need some help to get inside. I think we should go to visit an old friend of mine and my father.” She stated, confidently. “I still don’t know how but… I am sure this digimon can help us get in. He can also tell us a lot more about the Treasure Hunters and… He is even the right person to tell you about me and Sister’s past. He basically knows a lot about a lot of stuff, okay? We can certainly trust him!”
Well, with their next destination seemingly very clear, Erika slid a chart through the table towards Koharu and Warg. “We’re following that chart to go to Krago Island. That’s where I was raised and where we'll meet my friend. Luckily for us, that is not too far away from Grimway, even if they’re both far away from here. Even going at full sail… I think we’ll arrive tomorrow afternoon.” That was a long trip!
If Koharu and Warg looked at the chart, they would see the ship had to move north, going through 13 islands in total. In the same chart, Grimway was also marked, as an island located one island away from their current location. That was certainly very close, once they got there.
“We’re finally embarking on our first long trip as a crew. I think it will be fun!” The pirate clenched two fists and pushed them against her face. She got to spend a lot of time with her crew this time around! That was GREAT! Trying to regain some authority, she looked at the Sailing Masters. “You must do basically what you did with us going from here to Uka Island: do our own chart of the trip. You can use Elecmon’s book again for that, in case you still hadn't got the gist of it.”
Meanwhile, that left everyone with a lot of time to be used in the ship!
“If two of you could go and try to finish the work with that Radio Receiver… that would be great. I think that can help us a lot in the future. I don’t want to think my sister is spying us through that but… the best way to know is by fixing it, right?” Well, that was something that would occupy their time on this journey. “Naturally, take a break if you feel like you need it. We’re eating our three meals together.” That could not change. They had to eat together, like a family.
“Yiro also told me he feels… a bit frustrated about not knowing how to fight. So he wants one of you to train with him and teach him some basic techniques.” She whispered the crew, while the Gabumon remained disconnected after that kiss. “So that’s definitely something that must be attended.” Okay, another thing to do during this trip!
“And… and most importantly…
Show me the thing Koharu!” She asked intensively, her eyes shining like she was a little girl.
Oh, yes, that.

Well, for starters, even Yui knew that there were a number of Digimon out there with hats. So, trying to take a guess would be about as useless as a cat on a boat. Nonetheless, she nodded towards the captain. "Right. I'll take your word on that, Captain. I...will at least mention that there's at least two Digimon associated with pirates that also have pretty darn huge hats, though!" The Kita spoke.
Meanwhile, with Yiro's outburst? The twins found themselves snickering at Kon's patented 'shut up/calm down' kiss. Once Fuu herself had calmed down enough to...actually be able to talk to the captain without snickering up a storm, she nodded. "Well, here's how I'm choosing to see it. If that sphere is related to Astrivia in any way? Simply putting the pieces of the puzzle will get us closer to it. So...Yeah. If it's called the Astrivia Sphere, then I assume it's from or belongs to Astrivia, right?" The Dorumon stated with a genuine smile on her face.
So, this cruise would take a full day's worth of sailing, so...There was plenty of stuff to do here. First things first, though. "...What should Yui be doing?" Fuu stated, after Erika had concluded her explanations (and wondered if Koharu had anything for her). "I think we should figure out what she should do so she can...actually get used to life on a ship."
"You do know I can cook, right?"
Meanwhile, Bu cupped her hand with a claw and put on a rather raspy voice. "Hnnngh, Kon-chan...I'm trying to work on the radio, but I need your brother to go teach Yiro how to fight." Before she could face any sort of divine retribution for the god-awful impression of her younger sister she just put out there, she put her normal voice back on. "...No but really Kon and I need to finish work with that radio, so I think Warg should be on Yiro duty."
"Yeah, SHOW HER THE THING, Koharu!"

Not knowing the species? Well that's strange... either way, looks like the talk is done for the meantime. They have came into what seems to be an agreement. "Well then, I'll go back to my station. Kon-chan, Warg, please do your best."
Kon-chan chuckled at the mesmerized Gabumon, but not that she cares that much. The kiss is a kiss, and she hope he won't short circuit everytime she did that, eh well. "There'll be more of that if you managed to impress me in combat down the road. Goodluck and work hard, Yiro.
By the way, Warg... Leaving it to you. Make sure to know the limitation, alright? Let's go, Bu. "
"Roger that," Warg saluted to his sister.
With that, Kon-chan goes down to the communicator room, leaving Koharu and Warg there.
"Well, I don't exactly have many souvenir from my travel. How about some candied meat apple, Captain?" Koharu tossed one to Erika. "But for this mission, I do have some stuff from the team, specifically..." Koharu took out what looked like a really compact waist bags. She equipped it and fastened the belt.
"First, this is a specific exploration kit available for purchase at 10000 bits in total. It's a bit hefty price, but I assure you it worth the price point. For one, we don't need torch because we have no hand light. This is a drone type artifact that could float easily," Koharu took out what looked like a winged ball. Of course because it's morning, the light won't be so visible.
"...Then for investigation, we have sample bag, it could be divided in several ziplocks, but the maximum amount that the sample bag can handle is 20kg in total. There's also gloves to handle the samples. Even if the sample is burning, with this gloves it'll be rendered neutral. We also have markers where you just have to make a simple mark," Koharu swiped one on her arm, then called the No Hand Light to shine on her arm, which reveals marine tint "and you know the rest. As of how to remove it, let's just say it needs time." she put the four items back to where it came. She next pulled a device that looked like a small smartphone.
"Atmospheric Analyzer is to make sure that the air is safe to breathe, also great for navigation because it could detect where the wind blows. It also works underwater where it'll turn into tide analyzer instead."
Next... She pulled out what looked like a futuristic ball. It's white in color. She rolled it to the ground, and immediately, it unraveled into a small dome shaped structure that seem to be enough for three peoples at best. Inside is simple. There are three beds, a study table, and lights. It's bare necessity basically. "This one is sleeping tent, and there's also bonfire and chairs coming with it. It's pair is this one... "she took out similar one, but this one is black. She rolled it once again and it unraveled into slightly bigger dome.
Koharu put her D-Nexus on a spot near the entrance, and it shifted, rapidly, into a research lab.
"There are several modes. This is the default." she tapped one of the icon, and it changed into kitchen filled with modern tools, again and it changed into a small clinic with futuristic equipment. "I only got three modules, there are four actually... The fourth is a training room. Does that satisfy your curiosity?"
Warg meanwhile poked Yiro on the cheek. "Oy loverboy, you want to train or what? I know one or two ways to woo my sister, you know? You want my help~?"
Meanwhile, under the deck... Kon-chan immediately pulled Bu and signed at her.
...Bu, I dunno if I should tell you this, but... I feel there's a spy hiding around us. Either that or some device that can track our activities and talk. Maybe not in this ship, maybe it's something that we missed, but... I don't really want to alert captain. I feel later we should do a thorough cleaning later. This ship belonged to the captain's father... so naturally her sister should be familiar with the layout, right?
Either way, that's just my conjecture. I didn't voice it because I fear too many distrust could make the crew break up. We have to be on guard.
