Right now, in Magnus' mind, everything was hazy and confusing, yet one sensation lingered. Regret.
As the currents enveloped him, he couldn't but curse at his luck. What had he done to deserve something like? He had just gotten to his bed yesterday, and now, he was struggling for air as he was dragged into the sea.
Except that... he wasn't? For some reason, the young adult couldn't feel the ill-effects from oxygen deprivation; in fact. He had grown gills, or was this some kind of the so-called 'Digimon' magic? He'd rather not think of it, even if it was proving to be quite convenient.
Back to the topic at hand? Where was the sea current dragging him? Were any of his companions nearby? He could see both Akemi and Katherine holding fast, the slug hugging her sister close, just to not get separated from her; a heartwarming sight, if it weren't for the fact that he had no idea where they would stop.
Until... they did. By all means and purposes, this looked like... the ocean floor. Except it didn't feel like the ocean floor at all. The pressure hadn't crushed them yet, and the lack of breathable air seemed like a minor inconvenience at best.
Could he speak? "Heeey! Tsukiko!? Eleonora!? Mitsuharu!? Heroes of justice!? Drill-nosed dog!? Anyone here!?" Yup, quite the list, but finding any of those would make things easier for him. He approached the mollusk and the crustacean right after making the calls, and for one, the Numemon X didn't seem scared of him. Maybe due to the shock of this situation? No way to truly know.
"Do you know... where we are? Probably hopeless to ask, but since you've said you were looking for something..."
Both digimon shook their heads. "No idea." They answered in unison. Then, Katherine added. "I didn't know there was an underwater city down here, it's pretty cool, once you look at it."
"What?" It occurred to him that he hadn't observed his environment beyond basic eye range. Once he gaze at the distance, he could see it; tall buildings that were seemingly made out of coral stood at the distance. Sure, they all seemed pretty damaged and ruin-y, but it wasn't like that made the whole deal any less amazing. It was almost like Atlantis!
"Think this is what you were looking for?"
Once again, the answer was obvious. "No idea."
Welp. Not much to do about that. "Let's search for the others, then. Maybe we'll figure what this is all about in the way. Hope they're all alright."
Both sisters nodded before the group began to advance in the ruins' way.

Unable to get out of the way of that massive wave, Mitsuharu had only managed to evolve to shield Tsukiko's body, turning into Musyamon right before it crashed. However, it did not seem like it was necessary! The stream of water had proven to be a lot less deadly than it seemed like, actually drifting them into the water and beyond.
Her eyes closed tight, Tsukiko just hugged her partner tight, while the samurai did the same.
It took the pink-haired human a while before actually opening her eyes. Something inside her brain was telling her she couldn't! She was underwater, wasn't she? That was not possible.
"I can talk!" And yes, that too. After realizing she was sitting on the bottom of the sea, actually speaking and listening to others, she considered the pressure of the sea was not doing anything to her! "Amazing..." She declared, her hands on her mouth.
In the distance, she could see figures moving her way. Her hand raised in the air, she waved at whatever was coming to raise their attention. She could only hope they were not trouble!
Meanwhile, she just stared at the buildings around it. "This place is beautiful..." Those blue eyes were shinning bright, even under the sea!

This definitely was something the German girl did not expect when she got to this place, just a random island near the Sunken Elysium to train the army a little and make Kamina lose his fear of water, how would she knew that a giant wave would pull everyone into the depths of the sea?
While still holding tight to Drimogemon in hopes that the giant mole would be capable of fight the current of water and swim up, she use her Xros Loader to call up her partners inside and not risk lose them, sadly no matter how hard Boota tried to swim it was imposible to overcome the current and they finally hit the bottom of the sea.
At that moment it was best to put Drimogemon back into the Xros Loader with the rest than tisk to get drown, she then materealize the Diving kit and put the mask, well now she was who knows how deep and lost track of her friends, well no use in standing around.
The German started walking to where she thought saw the rest be dragged by the wave, she could be wrong but at this point she has nothing to lose and if anything se could try to find a way to go up and then come back for them!

Everything seemed to be strangely... alright, actually? Magnus managed to catch a glimpse of Tsukiko in the distance soon enough; at least it meant that somebody was doing alright! Regrettably, and at least for now, Eleonora was nowhere to be seen.
The dark-haired teen advanced towards the young woman, waving his hand in return as he was followed by Akemi and Katherine. "Tsukiko!" He exclaimed while he approached. Once the distance was closed, a sigh of relief would follow. "I'm glad that nothing bad happened to you. Have you seen Eleonora? I hope she didn't get lost."
Both the Numemon X and the Shakomon had been pretty silent thus far, but that could be attributed to the fact that they were admiring the scenery. This place... for some reason, they found it familiar. Slowly, Katherine began to diverge her path. Her destination? A light-blue tower, that looked to be made exclusively out of corals.
"Sis? Where are you going?" Akemi began to slither behind. She didn't look to be a fan of straying away from the group, in all honesty. "Isn't it dangerous if we get separated?"
On the other hand, the clam seemed to be completely unconcerned by her sister's warning. "Can't you feel it? It's... there."
Yup. Those words were as vague as they could get; it was almost as if Katherine's mind was elsewhere; why it had fixated on the odd building ahead? At least for now, it mattered not. She was going there unless somebody stopped her.

Well, this was definitely an interesting turn of events. Things weren't as near as bad as they seemed like when the wave drifted them away. Another piece of good news came with the fact Tsukiko had actually spotted Magnus and the two sea digimon that were around him before.
"Thank you." The pink-haired girl delivered a firm nod. "I'm glad you're okay too." Then, she glanced around, looking for other familiar faces. "No clue... Let's try to look for her, okay?" She could only cross fingers and hope she and her army were okay. However... "I would say it's possible she's under the same situation than us." The Ashikaga noted. "Have you any idea of why can we breathe and... talk?" It was probably unfair to ask a newbie in this world something like that but... maybe he had some clue?
Oh, by the way! While they talked...
"Away I have come, parting from her. Even as the creeping vines do part. My heart aches within me because it's her eyes what I can't have. I knew from the start, I must confess, the sea would bring you back to me, just like one day it took you away..."
Yes, Mitsuharu was already on his knee and in front of the sisters, delivering one of his passionate speeches. However, Katherine was ignoring him... more than usual. She was moving towards a specific building. Both Tsukiko and Mitsuharu just turned to look at the clam, the dinosaur interrupting his speech.
Instead of stopping her, the human just started to walk behind the Syakkomon. Was something... calling her in there?
"We should probably follow her."
She looked back at Magnus before she kept walking.

Not much to do outside walking, she had not idea where the rest was nor had a clue were to go (nor she could swim up to the surface for some reason), there were some digimon swimming around and while they were at rookie stage meaning they wouldn't be a problem for her group if a fight starts, her fear went to the thinking of what may lurk in the deepest part of the macro ocean, if the digital world is anything like the human world (or what she little recalls from it) danger always lurks in the deep darkness of the ocean
As the blonde kept walking in the horizon she could see some kind of tower, still no sign of her friends but a destination is better than nothing, it was hard to tell being far away but it seemed that the building was made out of corals? Certainly not something odd for the digital world yet interesting, maybe she can find something or someone to help her there! Hopefully Tsukiko and Magnus are OK

So far so good, it seemed? Magnus couldn't be more weirded out at the moment, but still managed to retain at least the vaguest sense of... himself? It was hard to say; losing one's mind when every event thus far has been utterly perplexing wasn't an easy task.
But, there were some silver linings to note; namely, that Tsukiko had been found, and that maybe—just maybe, she'd help to piece out the whole mess that this issue was. There was hoping at least; the fact that she didn't know where Eleonora was managed to throw a spanner in the works, but it wasn't like that couldn't or wouldn't be fixed in time.
"Yeah, let's try looking for her..." His voice trailed off; logically, he was unsure regarding what to do, or why they were thrown in a situation that that was becoming progressively weirder and weirder.
Logically, a shrug was the next, obvious response Magnus would give. "I have no idea. I'm still perplexed we're surrounded by talking animals over here to think about our ability to breathe underwater, talk... or to withstand the ocean's pressure, by the way. It almost makes me think we're in some kind of dream, or maybe that we're all dead or something. But that's no fun to think about."
In the meantime, as Akemi and Katherine moved towards the tower, Mitsuharu decided to... do his usual Mitsuharu antics, more or less. The Numemon X didn't seem to be that impressed, but... at least the Syakomon seemed to be a bit curious about the whole deal, even if she wasn't even looking at the Agumon while issuing her retort. "Now... who are you talking about? Sis or me? You kinda make it hard to respond when you're unspecific, yanno?"
After that exchange, Magnus nodded at the not-quite-blonde and the two proceeded to follow their digimons. The path would lead them towards the tower's feet. The building itself seemed to be quite striking, which left Magnus wondering why it appeared to be relatively unscathed considering that it looked quite old.
"Um... sis? I have a bad feeling about this." The Numemon X's body shuddered after giving the place a good look. "I think we shouldn't enter. It's not a good idea."
However, Katherine seemed undeterred. "Don't worry. We'll be fine." She then turned at Magnus, gazing at him rather intensely. "Do you think Eleonora is coming? We might need her help for getting into this place."
What a headscratcher. The truth was that the brunette... didn't really know what to answer to that. How was he supposed to know?

Putting a hand on her face delicately, Tsukiko issued a response to Magnus' input on the situation "Yes. You're probably right." Not much sense in actually asking this guy for an explanation, right? The list of doubts he held was definitely a lot bigger than the list of certainties. To his opinion about what all of this could be, though? She just winced, completely aghast at the idea. "D-Don't even mention that!" Did she really have a way of proving she was alive? Hard to tell, honestly.
Well, if this was a dream, at least Mitsuharu was acting the same as he did in reality. Tsukiko's blue eyes trailed towards the clam and her sister, delivering a proper answer to Katherine's question. "Both. He is always talking to both." She noted. At least she knew that much. Don't ask her where was he going with all of that crap, though. "Would you offer any sort of reply if he were talking specifically about you, though? ... 'Cause I definitely wouldn't know how to answer to any of that if it were addressed to me."
Before she could elaborate any further on this subject, the human walked behind Katherine and towards the tower, raising her gaze to state at the structure. "Magnificent." She muttered. "You've always had an itch for exploring, haven't you, Sensei?" Mitsuharu had stood up to get closer to his tamer.
The Samurai girl blinked twice before glancing at her lizard partner. "I guess you're right." She managed with a smile.
"That's a good question." Tsukiko nodded, not really having an answer to Katherine's inquiry. "I guess we have two choices. Looking for her from down here..." Again, her blue eyes went upwards accompanying her head. "... Or getting to the top of the tower to see if we can see her from above."

As the blonde kept moving towards the huge tower in the horizon she realize something that had not think about up until now, as deep as she was the pressure of the water was almost non existent and she was able to walk normally, it was odd to say the least, comes to think about it wasn't that little adventure with Ayumi, Alan and the Gigimon had water with a different property? Maybe this part of the Macro Ocean was the same?
Her two gears would know for sure those two are a living encyclopedia of the digital world and don't need air to live so they can be underwater, she pull the Xros loader again and with the press of a button Hagurumon X and Solarmon X appear, now the hard part explain what she need without saying a word.
The German try to use signs and explain herself but it proved to be a difficult task, fortunately the gears sort of understand and decided to talk
"You can take the diving gear out and talk normally" "We do not know why but the water here does not act like water" "There is no pressure nor the properties of normal water" "We are able to float up to a certain point above ground, if the properties were normal we would be able to float up to the surface"
At first Eleonora was dubious about it, sure they're machines that know almost everything apparently, but here's the thing, they don't need to breath so how would they know if she can breath and talk normally? More importantly they didn't know what was causing this, in the end she trust her partners if only to be able to put a big question
"You think that tower is related?"
"Possibly" "The Sunken Elysium is still a big mystery on it's own" "So we do not know what lies beyond and deep here"
Leo sighed and kept moving to that point with her gears, it was the only place to go after all, even if the gears didn't fully know what was happening surely they'll get some answers going to that tower, after several minutes the trio finally got closer and Eleonora was able to see the figures of her friends, the German raised her hand and wave to get their attention

Was there really any way anyone present could truly verify the fact that they were alive? Probably not; for what everyone knew, everyone present could be the playthings of unfathomable entities outside of this very reality. Then again, those were very depressive thoughts, and while the idle thought of having some kind of item that ground you to reality like in a certain movie.
Alas, the group had none of that. Magnus shook his head. "Sorry. I didn't mean to be depressive like that. Better if we just advance while I try to piece any kind of sense out of what's happening in here."
Things were moving along, at the very least; both on the human and the digimon front. Especially when it came to Katherine's thoughts regarding the whole deal, and especially, Mitsuharu's strange pick-up lines and bootleg poetry.
"Yes. Of course it's different." The clam replied, confidence brimming in her voice. It was kind of weird that such a question was asked to her by a female, of all things. "It's like comparing trolling to trawling, you know? When you troll, you're at least aiming for something or someone in specific, rather than just... being satisfied with whatever you catch, no matter what it is. You're... technically a girl, right? How would you feel if you were treated as by-catch? And before, you raise that point; no. Both polygamy and incest are truly despicable things I'm not interested in engaging. Good enough for an answer?"
To say that she had gotten serious was probably an understatement; even Akemi had found herself staring at her sister after that speech. That wasn't something... Katherine usually did. Or said.
In any case, the group had found herself at the tower's feet, and while there were a couple of things they could do in regards Eleonora's whereabouts, in the end, none of those were really necessary. In the end, Eleonora's visage could be clearly seen in the distance.
Magnus waved at her while... from one moment to the next, Katherine got inside the tower, racing as fast as her body could carry her. "W-Wait. Sis, where are you going!? Getting separated from the rest is dangerous!"
To say the least, Akemi went behind her right after, all while the male stared at the situation, somewhat dumbfounded. It took him a moment before he gave Tsukiko a look. "I'm... going after them. Wonder what got to that clam."

While Katherine’s speech progressed, Tsukiko could only tilt her head slowly. Once the clam was done, the blue-eyed only blinked twice. “I… never said it weren’t different?” She then giggled. “I was only asking what you would say if those words were directed only at you.” Well, that was true! She had provided a very interesting piece of insight, hadn’t she? “Trust me, I would never raise any point in favor of his random flirting.” In all honesty, the Samurai couldn’t stop giggling now. “But I still find shocking you know such words.” It was very, very cute, actually.
And, while it was true that Katherine had stated a point no one was questioning, she did have a good one, at least!
Not much to say about that though.
Into more serious matters! Elonora had shown up! Tsukiko took out only one hand out of her jacket to wave at the blonde. That was great! At least they were now together in the adventure that would probably be getting the hell out of here!
Immediately, the Samurai turned to look at Magnus, only to notice Katherine had rushed into the tower already. “S-Sure…” She replied.
“It’s dangerous to go alone!” With that, Mitsuharu gave chase to the group. Not much to do there, he was probably worried about the sisters. They were going to enter eventually, anyways. The pink-haired girl made a sign with her hand to Eleonora and the gears before running behind her partner. Hopefully, the arriving squad would follow suit too!
What would they find inside this structure, though?

To tell the truth at this point Eleonora didn't know what to think about being this deep in the water, it didn't felt like one would expect and her partners confirmed that something was odd but didn't know what or if the tower was related, good thing at least is that she found her friends tho they didn't lose time to go into the tower, with Tsukiko making a sign that probably meant "We're going ahead"
The German sighed and run behind them, better get together into the tower than having to deal with weird forced split paths like in the forest, she knows that can end terribly, well one thing is for sure if something like that happens here she can just ask the gears to drill their way out of the tower.
After finally entering the tower and catching up the girl took some seconds to catch her breath before asking "Why in such a hurry to enter?" The blonde took a deep breath "Good to see you guys are fine at least, lets try to stick together and not split up again... Although this was the fault of no one as much as the currents forcing us to split up, but you know what I mean"

"And you got your answer," Katherine replied, fiercely. "Applying my words to the current situation should be quite easy, if you think about it just a bit." One thing was for sure; she wasn't explaining the situation any more than this. Tsukiko had to apply them in the way that seemed more fitting to her. Magnus was thankful that he had managed to remain relatively on shape, given that this amount of stair climbing was getting utterly ridiculous.
More ridiculous was the fact that he still hadn't been able to catch neither Katherine nor Akemi. Were really a glorified slug and a clam faster than him at climbing stairs of all things? It seemed like it! Luckily, it seemed like, after what felt like four hundred or so steps, the group was finally reaching the tower's spire, a lone, stony door that was promptly bashed in by the clam revealed a wide, yet deserted room.
Inside, there was the most befuddling scene that the young male had seen for a while. By all intents and purposes, this room was bigger than it should. Could it be a mistake in his perception, or was something weird afoot? Considering the vast, open field ahead of him, one would probably think this was the first case. Second to that, there was also the fact that, the scene in front of him was.... quite interesting, in all honesty. They were still underwater, but evidence of a rather recent battle taking the space by storm was more than obvious. One could observe everything from claw and bite marks to burnt patches of ground in some areas. All in all, quite the perplexing panorama.
"Sis... can you feel it? This is the place." The wonder in Katherine's voice was more than obvious in the face of such a scene. "We've been here before."
Akemi just stared around, perplexed. Magnus? Magnus wasn't faring any better; he'd wait until the next human arrived to the scene before staring at them and asking. "What's supposed to be this place?"
By then, the Shakomon had already begun advancing forward.

While going up the stairs at full speed, Tsukiko took a moment to offer a reply to Eleonora, without bringing her movement to a halt. "No clue! Magnus' digimons seem to have sensed something coming from there." She noted. The reason? That was still a mystery. Although... Judging by how Katherine had acted, it seemed like something inside was calling her, which made her sister follow suit. What could this possibly be? And why was it that whatever they were feeling manifested in a way the Syakkomon's senses found easier to perceive? No way to know for now.
With some distance still separating Magnus from Mitsuharu and Mitsuharu from the rest, the pink-haired girl and her partner kept moving forward and up the seemingly endless set of stairs!
This would continue for a while longer and Tsukiko would only stop to look at her surroundings once Magnus and the Bushiagumon had stopped too.
After taking a good look at this huge battlefield, Tsukiko's blue eyes drifted towards her human peer, posing on him before she delivered some sort of answer. "Good question." Unlike the rest of this adventure so far, the human was able to find some similarities between this event and things that had happened to her before. In all honesty? This at least was something the Ashikaga leader could make assumptions on. "If I had to guess, I'd say the tower was just a storage site for a much larger amount of data. And we might be exploring the insides of that data." She proposed, while resting her hand over her chin.
"I've been in these kinds of places before. Small places that store larger amounts of information, therefore are bigger on the inside than how they look outside." Well, she was not making this up! Being in these types of spaces was actually in her Digital World curriculum. "Since it's just a bunch of data stored, it is even possible that we're looking at the past or a representation of it. These types of places tend to behave oddly, in my experience. So... Let's try to stick together as well as we can."
A leader by nature, the pink-haired girl directed these words at both Magnus and Eleonora before starting to walk forward.
What would they find it they kept pushing? Maybe Eleonora had had a similar experience that she could base on to provide feedback too?

Eleonora follow closely the duo of humans up stairs of this huge tower, the slug and clam sure move fast make the German wonder why this place was so important for them, finally they reach the highest part of the tower and a stone door was standing in front of them, before the gears could give a shot and analyze the door and get some information for the group Katherine bashed the door open.
"For a stone wall that was easy..." Leo said puzzled and took a step inside with the rest
the other side of the door show a huge yet deserted room, it looked like a giant battlefield, burns and claw marks all around the room, it felt as if they left the tower yet of course they were still inside, how was possible for a room this big be on the spire of the tower? At least so far it felt like a really straightforward structure just stairs going up to the very top were the door to this room was, and now at the other side of the door there was this huge battlefield, more interesting was that Katherine claim to be here before
Tsukiko made her best to try and explain what this place was, the tower was sort of a storage for the data that compiles this room, all things considered and by her own experience it seemed plausible, specially when mentioning that it was possible they were seeing a past version of the place, that ring a bell on the German's memory
"We actually went to a similar place once" Leo added "I'm not sure if it was a data storage of some sorts or not, but once I was helping a friend with some investigations and she found some kind of door in a cave, on the other side there was this old town of Japan in the year 1986"
"We have not met another time anomaly like that one until now" "This sure will be an interesting topic to investigate if it is related"
Definitely the digital world hide many mysteries and never stops surprising the blonde, specially when her two floating encyclopedias can't answer, Eleonora nodded to the Japanese girl suggestion
"If needed I can deploy the rest of the army, extra eyes and fire power are never a bad thing, right?"
