    - Librarian in Training: While she's still seeking to finish her masters in Library and Information Sciences, she has enough of a degree for her studies abroad in Japan. She has a solid understanding of sorting and cataloging with a scope of book selections to recommend, unless it's fantasy, science fiction or comics then she has an extensive knowledge of selections.

     - All things Nerdy: Katherine is a massive nerd when it comes to geek culture. If there's a new comic shop open or a convention in town, she's in line. While she's not caught up on most video games, she knows, extensively science fiction, fantasy and comic books along with anime and movies - although sadly not enough to win trivia night.

Personality:
A ditz would be too cruel a word to apply to the easily distractable but well read librarian-in-training. She's often distantly imagining some fantasy land or worrying about some situation she's concocted from a minor incident. As some have summarized her: She's your air-headed aunt. 

Katherine is very cheerful when she's not had to deal with too many people, an excited introvert that's happiest communicating online and being left alone to read whatever topic has her fancy. When forced to interact with others, she can become anxious easily and fretful about minor slights, often attempting to review some booklet on social conduct to discern her offending action. This personality changes when not interacting face to face, over text or online Katherine can be quiet upfront and reactionary, making full use of her knowledge to give herself added weight in conversations - though she'll deny this if asked in person once more.

Katherine is an eternal optimist in the best of people, assuming that others will do the right thing, despite having the experience to know to take precautions in case someone disappoints her. She'll often take on extra work and responsibilities simply to help someone out or to encourage another, even if this overextends her.

Katherine is a 5 foot 5 inch British woman with crow-black, straw-like hair that settles down to her shoulders in strands of dissary. Two deep-sea blue eyes glance out from her thick-framed glasses that rest on her roman nose. She's generally thing for her height, with less muscle than a grown woman her age might be normal. Her skin is unhealthily pale and easily sunburns when exposed to any natural light - or aggressive lamps.

Personal History:

Katherine was born in Cardiff, Wales in the United Kingdom to a wonderful mother and father who owned a tiny used book store they lived over. Often Katherine would spend her days amongst the dusty, thick binding books describing King Arthur's exploits, the Romance of the Three Kingdoms and The Great Gatsby. Each Christmas she would ask for a popular book from the Fantasy Best Seller's list - although in time her Parents would learn to curate that request list after giving their daughter Stephen King's Dark Tower series and the "tie-in" books. 

Katherine grew up to be a slightly lonely child due to her living conditions and single child status. She would often scare off other children by being too over eager for their attention and affections. In her later years she learned to tone this down, hiding her natural instinct to cling to others like a capsizing ship survivor clings to wreckage until they were already invested in her. While this habit severs her well in adulthood, she still finds herself often alone.  

She studied Library and Information Sciences at Wales University, which her parents struggled to pay for. While staying in the dorms, she was introduced by her gamer dorm-mate to the Japanese's literature. Seconds after being informed that "Neon Genesis makes more sense in it's original language" she took up a minor in Japanese Literature. This minor studies led to an opportunity to study abroad for the last two years of her degree, beginning with Tokyo.

    - Mind For Mischief: Algernon has an almost supernatural talent for finding the one action to agitate or annoy someone. While no true ability, he often will appear solely for the purpose of antagonizing someone.

Personality:
Algernon has a impish streak a mile long, eagerly sneaking into places he's not allowed or sneaking away objects that won't be needed for days only to take delight in the discovery of his actions later. While most would assume Algernon is too easily distracted to plan out complex pranks, but in fact he's long-minded and tactical in his approach. 

Algernon is a quick study, eagerly devouring information that he can incorporate into tricks or pranks, while discarding anything he deems irrelevant - this sadly includes several bookshelves worth of "ethics" offered to him by Katherine. This hunger for more and more methods applies to any realm of interest for his: tactics, mysteries, engineering - specifically siege and traps - and modernized street magic. If left without a new source of study, Algernon can become quiet petulant and will whine at any who will give him an ear until he's provided with a new aspect of cunning to learn.

Despite his prankster personality, Algernon holds himself up to "the ethics of all trickster gods" and seeks to use his deceptions to teach lessons - even minor one's like not leaving one's muddy shoes in the walk way - and convey humility to others. Despite his own lack of humility, Algernon sees it as his tertiary mission - after learning and accompanying Katherine -  to bring low any who hold themselves in too high a regard.
