While it was true every crew participating in this massive search for Astrivia had different (and often conflicting) interests, the one of Justice! was very unique. The crew of Ayari, Katherine, and their respective digimon partners was looking for... well, other pirate crews. And that was very interesting by itself. Of course, the art of hunting other pirates also involved knowing about the most interesting potential destinations for pirates, in order to be able to find the most capable pirates to capture. Naturally, there was Astrivia, the place most pirates yearned for reaching. Everyone in the Southern Tropic knew there were a lot of humans and digimon looking for the mythical land. However, in order to get there, there were some different routes the pirates had opted for. For example… Re-Re Island. The island where the ISR, the institute that had actually received that stress signal, was located. It was clear for everyone the ISR was hiding more information about Astrivia that they had decided to not unveil. This meant that, right now, getting to Re-Re Island was the best bet for all of those who wanted to get a step closer to finding Astrivia. Sadly, like many islands inside the Southern Tropics since this had begun, Re-Re Island had an invisible force field that hampered the use of any kind of portals. On top of that, the Digimon Navy (think of them as the police of the sea) had issued a press statement where no digimon could fly near Re-Re island without a permit. Considering the Trailmons going there had also suspended all of their trips, this left Justice! with a single option: using a ship to get there. A short inquiry around Whitewater would let the duo know that there were no ships going to Re-Re Island right now, due to the very strict security policies the Navy was applying to any boat that traveled around those seas. With that in mind and the fact that no great discovery had been made while idly sitting around, the humans and their digimon started moving! Where to? Well, they had decided to get as close as they could to Re-Re, which led them to Krago Island, a fairly sizeable piece of land located a couple of islands away from Re-Re Island. This was the closest island to Re-Re where they could set foot on without having to go through heavy security inspections or needing a special permit. The trip there? It had proved to be fairly long! However, it did bring them some interesting information. According to some passengers aboard the cargo ship they had taken to get to Krago, there was some avid researcher there, who knew a lot about pirates. That meant maybe, just maybe, if they could find this person/digimon/whatever, they could know who the most important pirates around were, to know who they should aim for capturing! Of course, finding a ship was also a pretty important secondary objective of this trip. To summarize: That left Justice! with three things to do at Krago: Find a way of getting to Re-Re Island, find the researcher who seems to know a lot about pirates, and getting a ship. Upon disembarking, the crew had found a very charming island. Krago seemed to lack a lot of the most basic technology the rest of the Digital World had, while it bestowed some other instruments that were just at the same level of modernity. For example? Some areas around the docks had TV screens around, but the vehicles to go from there to the central city (Called Krago City) were simple carriages pulled by Boarmons. This very odd mixture of modernity and antiquity seemed to spread throughout the whole island. After a trip of around two hours, the girls arrived at the city, a fairly big metropolis that, overall, had a very medieval style, with old-world structures and overall archaic systems. It was quite pretty, though! Stone edifications, dirt roads, wooden doors, and forest and meadow surrounding the city. It was almost as if they had traveled to the Middle Ages! As they walked through the market, many digimon passed by, occasionally stopping at the stands and shops tended by other digimon. It seemed like they were in the busiest part of town! Where should they head if they needed more information? Maybe to a bar? An inn? Or should they ask around the market? Time to make some decisions! OOC:Kayo! Welcome to the Set Sail for Astrivia Plot, Justice!
This is not, by any means, a static plot. Everything is going to be constantly changing according to the decisions you make! Although for plot convenience and in order to give you a little push I have established the first objective for your crew (getting to Re-Re Island, in this case) all of your actions and decisions will determine how the plot moves on and whether that objective changes or not. Alliances, friendships, and gruesome battles: in Set Sail for Astrivia your objectives and the roads you take to achieve those objectives will change according to how YOU want it and the decisions YOU make.
So, enjoy the ride! ~
With love, Erika.

Katherine held onto her toke bag, looking about as she walked the market. Right after leaving the carriage to the city, she'd lost sight of Ayari, her partner in this endevour. Krago island was the furthest into the Digiverse she had ventured and she had begun to feel a bit overwhelmed. On her shoulder, the small, claw shaped form of Algernon kept watch, his tiny antenna twitching in alert anticipation.
"Alright, we have 2000 bits to find a ship, buy our food and...maybe hire some more crew-" Katherine began telling Algernon, as she pressed up against the outside of a busy stall, hoping for some privacy before venturing about the strange land and dealing with the various Digimon. A wicked grin crossed her face, the normally bubbly brunette seeming almost malevolent in her intent.
"Oooh~ Mischief time." Algernon chittered happily, the small digimon's statement interlaced with a low burst of dial-up like static as was his habit when excited.
"Alright, so: We're not the navy. We're Pirates. Pirate hunters to be precise. We're already behind the other crews, but that just means they don't know about us. Let's act like Pirates." Katherine asserted, moving out from behind the stand and heading towards the inn they had passed on the cart. Internally the librarian turned tamer, now turned pirate, pumped herself up by repeating the various names of female pirates: Ching Shih, Mary Read, Anne Bonny and more. She puffed up her chest and held her head high - feeling confident despite looking rather absurd standing under 5 foot 5 inches.
Excitedly Algernon rushed into the backpack on Katherine's back, scurrying into the top flap - leaving the zipper slightly open - to begin flipping through the very official illustrated guide to be a pirate focused on the most famous pirate crew, The Straw Hats. Algernon chittered excited inside the bag - which sounded like a faulty dial-up attempting and failing to connect over and over - as he learned more about being a very official pirate.
Katherine, for her part, pushed open the door to the tavern/inn and put on her deepest scowl - thinking of the one time the vending machine had given her strawberry dip and dots when she wanted mint! - and pointed into the assemblage of digimon and partners: "I am Katherine King, First Mate of the Justice Pirates! I demand access to ship, the location of anyone knowledgeable about Pirates hunting in the waters near Re-Re Island and the closest thing you have to root beer!"

Adam had kept to himself on the boat ride, mostly planning with Ascalon and preparing for the treasure hunt to come. Well, Ascalon was. Adam was getting himself prepared to learn and find the knowledge of an ancient, lost society. Who knows what secrets and technology they might hold! Flying ships, magic tomes... Okay, he admitted to himself that was exactly what a treasure hunt was but he had good reasons! Mostly.
The two walked the market, with Adam in thought. They would need more information, and transportation. The best option would be to find the researcher first. But he couldn't man a ship by himself... He'd need help. And it was as he was having this thought that he heard a women's voice, and found a finger pointed at him. It was Ascalon who spoke first.
"HAH! A mere pirate dares call herself King? Behold lass, the true King is the one you've pointed at! I present Adam Genzai Lancaster, Supreme General and mightiest mind to ever sail the seas!" The Stingmon thrust his chest our proudly, placing a hand on Adam's shoulder. The human rolls his eyes, looking to the girl and nodding before speaking himself.
"Nice speech. I've got a couple pointers but I'll join you. Might I suggest we gather information before we acquire a ship?"

Katherine spun on her heel, already a bit startled by the assertion from the Stingmon. She attempted to recover and coughed, pushing her hand through her long, black hair. "Ah, no. My ser name is King. I'm not claiming to be the king of pirates."
There came a shuffling from the backpack as the tiny, claw-shaped digimon dragged out a small booklet filled with black and white illustration. The small creature perched on Katherine's shoulder and gave a burst of static to garner attention. "Kathy doesn't want to be the King of Pirates! That's Luffy's job! She just wants to bring them to Justice!"
Katherine attempted to not turn red as Algernon showed off the One Piece manga she had checked out to teach her partner what pirates were and why hunting them might be noble. She originally thought it was a rather good way to show her new friend the very basics of morality. She straighten up and locked eyes with the human partner of the insect digimon.
"You say that you desire to hit the seas? Do you have experience or loyalty to any other pirate crews?" She demanded, attempting to regain control of the situation.

Adam watched the two speak, a broad grin spreading on his face at the antics of the small Digimon. "Ah, the illustrated history of the Mugiwaras! A favorite read of mine as well, and I'd say I'm more like someone they meet later. I'd tell you who, but that's spoilers. Ascalon here is more like Zoro. Kind of an idiot but I like him anyway."
Ascalon puffed his chest out for a moment, then frowned. "Hey! Lord Adam, you're not supposed to say those things about someone as magnificent as me."
Adam ignores the proud bug, turning his attention to Katherine instead. "So you're more like Smoker. Alright, I can work with that. I'm currently on my own, and you don't have to worry about my loyalties lying elsewhere. I'm kinda new. Is it just you two for the crew?" Hes got a notebook out now, either sketching the pair or writing about them. It's hard to tell without looking at the notebook itself.

Katherine's eyes lit up as Adam mentioned Smoker. "I always thought I'd be more of a Tashigi, but that's fine."
Algernon chittered agressively. "Spoilers!"
Katherine shook her head and patted her partner, stroking his antenna slightly before he skittered back into the backpack with a huff. She watched the other person write and grinned, thinking of her own notebook full of observations of the digital world. She stepped forward. "Well, I had a partner, but I think I lost her. So...for now it's me and Algernon. You're Adam and...Ascalon, correct? It's a pleasure. I was looking for a researcher that had information that might be helpful..and a ship...so we're just getting started honestly."

Well, you couldn’t deny Katherine had managed to raise the attention of people inside the tavern. All of the digimon, who were before occupying a rather quiet space, turned to look at her and Algernon, some eyebrows being quirked. As a matter of fact, the only human inside the establishment happened to be Adam, who came accompanied by Ascalon, the Stingmon. The rest of the digimon inside the tavern stared at the pair for a while, mainly due to the fact their attention was raised initially by Katherine. However, none of them went closer to interact with the tamers. However, there was a Lunamon wearing a purple bow who seemed to be pretty distracted by the exchange. She kept staring at the pair talk about mangas and whatnot with a smile. Humans were so funny! While she listened to the pair, she left some leather bag she was carrying unattended on top of a table. With the digimon staring at the development, someone had walked by her and grabbed the bag in a swift movement, something both humans and digimon partners probably missed, since they were talking to each other. When the conversation reached a pause, the Lunamon took a moment to look at the bag that she had left on the table and… of course, it wasn’t there anymore. Her eyes immediately went everywhere, trying to find who had the package. As soon as she spotted a Gotsumon walking towards the door of the inn, making an exit she just… yelled. “THIEF!” The rookie shouted, pointing at the rocky digimon with her eyes closed. Everyone seemed to flinch again, turning towards the passerby. As soon as he was caught under the spotlight that every client’s eyes represented, the Gotsumon started making a run for it, going at full throttle towards the door. “Someone stop him, please!” The Lunamon yelled desperately. With a tackle, the stone burglar busted the door of the inn open while running. “Let’s go, let’s go!” He yelled with a raspy voice while jumping on top of a Bullmon who was just standing in front of the establishment. The four-legged creature would start running immediately. Wasn't there any hero around who could help this poor damsel in distress?

Adam immediately went into tactical mode upon hearing the plea for help. With a single nod to Ascalon, the two burst out of the door in hot pursuit of the thieves. A four legged digimon was faster than Adam could go, at least on land. Ascalon could carry him while flying, but then the Stingmon would be incapable of attacking. Thinking quickly, Adam nods. "Ascalon, Silk Wires! As many as you can! Target the bag!"
With a bit of a grunt, Ascalon takes to the air, using both hands to fire out a multitude of long, sticky silk wires, aiming for the Gotsumon and, more specifically, the bag. He understood the logic behind Adam's action. If they got the bag back, there'd be no need for fighting, but he WANTED to fight. Perhaps, if this failed, he could start a fight... But if it failed, his aim would be mocked, and he simply couldn't have that. So he was going to aim very well, and with any luck, hit his target!

Katherine whirled as the stone digimon rushed by and hopped on the quadrupedal digimon. She gasped and looked as Adam suddenly burst into action, amazed by the other tamer's quick thinking. She pondered how she'd help. While lost in thought, Algernon chirped excitedly "Fastball! Fastball Special!" Katherine looked to her partner, opening her hand as the smaller, claw-shaped digimon crawled in and closed itself tight, preparing to be thrown like a baseball. She sighed, regretting showing him her collection of 90s X-men cartoons. She patted his head softly and whispered a soft prayer for safety before throwing him directly at the Gotsumon's head. The in-training digimon unfurled mid-flight, widening it's body out to one giant claw attempting to latch on to the thief's face.

The way the recently formed crew had been set in motion was definitely interesting. Each of them seemed to be trying to contribute somehow to stopping the Gottsumon, which was greatly appreciated.
There was, however, a problem with Ascalon’s plan, right from its conception: the bag was nowhere to be seen! Although the Lunamon had shouted upon sight of the rock digimon, the bag was actually never visible for anyone else! How was the victim of this robbery so sure this was the criminal?
“Someone catch him!” Well, whatever was the reason, she seemed to be completely sure it was him! The digimon had come out of the establishment asking for further help.
Of course, not being able to see the bag left Ascalon hanging to the Gottsumon’s whole rocky body, which was honestly a problem. The digimon was too heavy to be pulled off the ride (he was made of solid rocks, after all!), and his grip to the Bullmon was so solid he couldn’t even be thrown off balance.
“What the…!?” The escaping Gottsumon did, however, noticed the silk wires wrapping around him, pretty confused. However, unless Ascalon pulled those back, he would end up being pulled by the mighty strength of the Bullmon the Gottsumon was holding onto, who ran at full throttle. Right before the four-legged beast made a turn to the right and crossed an alley, Algernon was able to reach him, after being propelled by Katherine's thrown. Effectively, he would latch onto his face, impeding him from seeing the road ahead
“Get off me!” The rock-digimon yelled while trying to unstick the claw-shaped creature off his eyes.
Of course, this didn’t stop the running bull, who was mighty fast! The creature had already gone across the crossing alley and gained some very important distance from the inn, with Ascalon being pulled behind. How was the pair of humans going to keep up? Did they have one more trick up their sleeve to stop these so-called criminals?

Ascalon frowned, radioing over the Adam, who was now looking at the Lunamon. "Sire, I've got the Gotsumon in my Wires, but there's no sign of the bag. What should I do?"
Adam nodded. No visible bag didn't mean that they hadn't stashed it somewhere. "Separate the two. Use that thing I told you about. I'll talk to the victim." He looks to the Lunamon, looking away from his digivice. "You're certain that the rocky digimon stole your bag? What does it look like, miss?" He crosses his arms, thinking. "You reacted incredibly fast. Are you SURE it was stolen?" He's also going to look at where the Lunamon was sitting, just in case.
Ascalon, meanwhile, is a bit annoyed. He grabs the wires in both hands, and with a mighty YANK pulls himself towards the Gotsumon, entering the pose Adam informed him of. "R-Rider Kick!" Oh it feels embarrassing just to say it. He's using his wings to pick up any additional speed needed as he aims to slam into the Gotsumon and knock him off the Bullmon!

"The eyes, boo! Go for the eyes!" Katherine called out towards Algernon as he disappeared around the corner, affecting a humorous accent. She then turned towards her new partner, presently badgering the victim and pinched his right ear before leaning down towards the digimon he was talking to: "Excuse us, we'll need to talk just before we can assist you."
Meanwhile, atop the rock digimon, Algernon was having a small twinge of delight, scrabbling out of the way of the clumsy rookie's pawing and digging his body's claws into the rocky hide where he could. Instead of trying to dig out his eyes, as Katherine had said to do, he was seeking the location of the bag, quipping the whole time. "Ah! A slow moving, clumsy hand! A spider's one true weakness. Hehehe. Why you running? I thought Vaccine types were all virtues and honor, or are you a Data type? No real qualities just pretense? Anyways, ah look out another clumsy swipe from the rocky one. Where's the bag huh? Where- Oh...Look out!" Algernon lept from the rookie digimon onto the Bullmon's head, digging in his sharp nails as the full weight of a Stingmon slammed into his previous target. The in-training let out a burst of static noise in appearance of a laugh before moving to torment the quadraped digimon.
Katherine, meanwhile, was pulling Adam aside and whispering firmly - in the tone librarians and ushers in theaters can - "Why are you attacking her? Just because we can't see it doesn't mean it didn't happen, they're clearly fleeing something."

The chase across the heart of Krago City continued, and while things didn’t seem to be going too smoothly, it was definitely a good thing both Ascalon and Algernon were (quite literally) hooked to their preys. The Bullmon and the Gottsumon atop were now going through the core of the market, digimons jumping to a side to throw themselves out of the way of the rampaging beasts, while the clerks of each store stared in amazement. Meanwhile, back at the Inn, Lunamon was under the spotlight! “Uhh…” The so-called victim seemed to feel a bit overwhelmed about the situation. “… I-it’s a brown leather bag.” She explained. “I am certain it was him! I can feel where the object inside the bag is, and I know he has it!” The digimon closed her eyes to remark intensively. Well, she did sound pretty sure about it! Suddenly, a loud bang startled the digimon. It was a repeated series of quick bangs coming from the roof. They sounded exactly like someone heavy was running through the roof. “They’re here!” One of the customers noted, with a visible smile on his face. “Don’t worry.” Another random customer addressed the Lunamon. “They will catch those guys in no time!”“T-They…?” She muttered. Immediately, the little moon rabbit ran out of the inn, following the same path the Bullmon had gone through. The humans better followed her too! So, how was the actual chase going? Algernon wouldn’t have any luck finding the bag that had been stolen from Lunamon. The Gottsumon was not wearing a single piece of cloth, and it didn’t seem to be hiding among the multiple rocks that composed his body. As soon as the Tsumemon moved off his eyes and into the Bullmon, the rock-digimon was able to turn back, and actually see Ascalon about to launch himself his way. In a swift movement, the rocky thief tried to get out the way of the kick coming from the Stingmon. In a sense, the Gottsumon managed to barely, just barely, dodge the bug’s kick, by sticking his body to his ride. However, that would make Ascalon’s kick go for the very next target: The back of Bullmon’s head! While the beast tried to shake off Algernon, he received a mighty strike to the back of his skull, letting out an audible squeal. Once Gotssumon partly reincorporated and looked at the road ahead… it was a bit too late. There was a digimon standing in front of them, right in the middle of the street! He actually seemed to have fallen from the roof of one of the buildings around! “It’s them!” Some of the passersby seemed to celebrate the showing of this digimon, a Galgomon standing on the way of the Bullmon. It was like they were expecting him. Or rather… them. Laughing loudly, the giant bunny put his Gatling-arms in front of him. Inevitably, contact happened. Although the Bullmon dragged the Galgomon some several meters backward, the shrieking creature remained sturdy, making the beast’s speed come to a halt, eventually stopping altogether, while everyone just watched amazed. Evidently putting a mighty amount of strength into his next movement, the Galgomon lifted the Bullmon off the ground. “WaitWaitWaitWait!” The fleeing Gottsumon repeated desperately, kind of knowing what was going to happen. The adult digimon lifting his ride just kept laughing. He seemed to be having a lot of fun! In a movement that was just too swift for the weight the four-legged creature bestowed, the Galgomon launched the Bullmon and his rider into the air, the Gottsumon finally letting go of the Bull and just flying through the air while everyone watched flabbergasted. “ I can’t believe they’re here!” The voices of some passersby could be heard. “Who is that...?” Some newcomers asked. “It's Xiang-Wu, Lieutenant of the Digital Navy!”The Galgomon kept laughing, just watching his targets fly though the air. His laugh was not too different from the one of a wacky male teenager. “H-He is… a Lieutenant!?” "Like… one of the strongest members of the Navy!?” Some asked shocked. “It gets better. He’s usually accompanied by…”
While the Bullmon crashed against one of the multiple stands that could be found around, destroying it immediately, the Gottsumon in the air was met by a severe kick that just sent him jutted into the ground, lifting a cloud of dirt. Whoever had kicked the thief moved so fast it was almost impossible to see, until she actually landed in front of the rocky creature. “... his sister, Lieutenant Xiu-Ying!” “Xiang! You destroyed that poor clerk’s stand! What do you think you’re doing?” Xiu-Ying glanced at her brother, before putting her eyes back into the enemy. “I-I’m…” Xiang-Wu started elaborating an answer. “… well, destroying that clerk’s stand, I guess.” He answered nonchalantly. “… Go check if they’re okay, you idiot!” His sister yelled. The Galgomon walked closer towards the mess he had caused. As soon as he was able to reincorporate, the Gottsumon glared at the Turuiemon. “D-Damn you…” His voice actually made the female Lieutenant pay any attention to the thief again. “There is no stolen item…” She muttered, after quickly examining him from the distance. With a leap forward, the rock-digimon tried to punch her. “Take this!” “Hey, Xiu! There is another digimon here.” Xiang-Wu noted, staring at Algernon, who was probably not too far from the Bullmon lying unconscious over the debris of the stand he had fallen on. After all, he was sticking to the four-legged ride when Xiang-Wu arrived. By then, Lunamon (and probably Katherine and Adam if they had followed) had arrived. “T-There’s another one!” The Galgomon added, noticing Ascalon was actually somewhere around the mess too. “In a minute!” She yelled while dodging the desperate attack coming from the Gottsumon. “If you don’t have it on you, it must be…” She muttered, before delivering another powerful kick right into her opponent's stomach. The impact was one of those that made the audience close their eyes, while the strength of the kick made the thief open his mouth in pain, the leather bag Lunamon was looking for coming out of it and falling into the ground. “There it is…” Xiu-Ying muttered again while her enemy fell next to the object he seemed to have swallowed before, completely unconscious. “ Hey! Who are you?” Xiang-Wu asked, tilting his head while he aimed one of his Gatlings at Ascalon and the other one at Algernon.

Adam nods to the Lunamon, grinning. "A sensory ability is very handy. Come on, we'll need you on the scene." He reaches to grab her hand when the bit about the Digital Navy begins. He pauses, radioing over to Ascalon via his Digivice. "Ascalon, we've got authorities inbound. Report."
Ascalon frowns as the order comes through. He'd just kneed the Bullmon, knocking it out when these two came and stole his glory. How disappointing. He sighed, watching them for a moment before their attention was finally turned to them. He raised his hands in the standard non-violent manner, showing them empty. "Good day to you as well. My name is Ascalon, and this is Algernon. We were tasked by my Liege and his Tamer to pursue these two thieves and retrieve an item in a leather bag, stolen from a Lunamon. I believe you just found it. Our allies should be here shortly, if you have any questions. Also, I wouldn't recommend pointing a gun at the small one. It's rather rude to threaten children." No man of HONOR would point a weapon at an In-Training like that... Ascalon was keeping his cool, but just barely.
Hearing everything, Adam nods. "Seems they found the item, but the Navy might think they're involved. We need to go, NOW." He grabs Lunamon quickly and hurrying to the scene. He might not be very strong, but he could at least carry the rookie to the scene. "I just hope we're not too late. You'll explain things, right miss Lunamon?" He would hopefully arrive at the scene shortly after her answer, and would take his place at Ascalon's side.

Algernon was slightly panicking at the events that had transpired, nearly getting kicked by his ally and then the two rabbit digimon asserting themselves. The in-training digimon want nervously skittering over his target, his eye mostly pupil now as the bright orange was eclipsed by black.
Katherine turned the corner and gasped at the scene, not fully hearing Adam's statements, the librarian began to rush forward to spear tackle the rabbit pointing a gun (arm) at her partner. "Don't you dare touch my partner!"
There came a loud whine from her pocket as the cellphone turned digivice exploded into light, a stream of black light - with white outline - flowing from the screen towards the small in-training digimon who was launching to stop Xiang-Wu from hurting Katherine. As the black light hit Algernon, he began to glow.
"Tsumemon digivolves toooo~"
Framed by a dark oval, the small clawed digimon dug into the ground, his eye disappearing as he burst into steely grey fur and his talons fusing until he had three, long black claws that primarily scooped forward as if designed for digging. Steadily an arm, muscular but stringy began to develop as three more identical claws took shape around him. The arms met in a long chest and stomach with a white underbelly while a round head with spiky, bunny-like ears. At first his, only one bright orange eye floated above the round head's maw full of sharp teeth with oversized canines before the eye split in twain, settling in the center of the head. The glowing creature blinked thrice, on the third blink his eyes turned a ruby red. Lastly a lash-like tail slapped down on the ground, with a series of black, buckled bands near the end of the tail.
"Gazimon!" The new digimon announced mid leap, claws out to push the Navy Digimon down.
