Unfortunately, it was for the best that Bell kept her nose down for now. A good two or so weeks needed to be put between the time they first ran into each-other and the time she actually started to work for him - enough time for any potential leads to grow cold, and for it to seem like Bell had always worked for the Renamon, even if she was only just starting out.
So Bell would be in her new apartment, either taking fresh seeds or harvesting them from the fruit that Skald brought over, creating little corner projects to pass the time. Small watermelons, grapefruits in the shape of oranges, naturally pit-less cherries... and a few other odds and ends, as well. She'd be tending to one of her plants when she heard a knock at the door - a new one? Was this the landlord? She'd come up to the door, recognizing it as one of the 'crippled' Digimon that Skald would have liked to employ.
She gave a shrug, and opened the door a crack, to listen to what she had to say.
"Oh? Finally - I've been starting to get stir crazy in there." She gave a sigh, stepping out, locking the door right behind her. "Lead on, and keep to the side roads as much as you can. I want to figure out how I'll be getting to the warehouse from here on a regular basis..."

Many people would be looking for her right? But keeping a floramon hidden in such a manner wasn’t difficult and with the rather relaxed way that skald treated her made it easy for people to realize that she had been around for a bit. It was a good trick for them to play on the world and the renamon-x’s supposed warmth played into the entire trick as well. The forces dwindled and eventually sputtered off as the trails grew cold. Skald didn’t trust that for a moment however and figured it was best to play it safe.
So he sent gertrude after what had happened with Barbus.
He felt it was the right choice and the Veemon didn’t have much of an issue doing something new. She was a smart cookie, probably would have been his second if herald wasn’t around. The veemon leaned slightly, a hand on her hip as the other opened the door. Her red eyes took in the other for a moment before the door closed and they stepped out.
”I can imagine. Being cooped up in there for a week or two.”
The veemon eyed the floramon and gave a small shrug. They probably wouldn’t of minded a little bit more time alone right? Well there would be plenty of that considering how busy this floramon was gonna be.
”Well we can take back ways, alleys and the like all the way there don’t worry. Though if we end up workin enough together I might as well just use the portal stuff I have for it.”
The veemon gave another shrug and gestured for the other to follow her. She was fairly stiff about all this wasn’t she? The winding pathways that she took the floramon on were at first likely a little confusing but she wasn’t going too fast for the other to keep up or keep track of where they were.
”Name’s gertrude. Boss told me about you Lily. you wouldn’t be the first to come to us that needed good work like this.
A right, a left, a straight. Two alleys later and they… well where the heck were they? Gertrude jumped up to pull a ladder down from one of those metal staircases you always see in the bigger cities before climbing all the way up. At the top of the building she’d gesture to the warehouse that was just right across the way.
”That’s it right there. We’re by some other companies storage units so we won’t get much traffic other than gas safety stuff. C’mon I’ll take you to the entry.”
But rather than go anywhere near the warehouse… The veemon lead the floramon down the building they had just climbed the outside of. Down through the halls where the veemon made a few stops to talk with other mons. Though she didn’t introduce bell the few others would give her a wave before going about their business.
”This isn’t ours but boss is good friends with the owner. Everyone here keeps to their own business, so unless you outright attack them there won’t be a problem here.”
Further still? They’d get to the basement where the veemon pulled out some keys to unlock the door that they had come to.
”And this is the entry. Your set of keys are in the warehouse.”
Another few minutes and a few other locked doors… Then they’d be inside a well lit underground segment of the warehouse. The veemon letting out a small sigh and shook her head. She’d lean back against the wall and gesture for the floramon to do her thing.
”Go nuts. Lemme know if you need help.”

"Portals leave a signal. If I take a portal every day, I can become predictable."
The Floramon's answer came almost reflexively, the practiced words and manners of someone used to running away from the law. She nodded to that bit about going through the alleys, and would follow right along - well, once she grabbed a cloak to at least wear around her back. It would probably be better if no-one saw a Floramon out of the corner of their eyes.
Hm, Gertrude was her name? Stepping up the ladder to that fire escape, she'd give a nod back. "Charmed. And I know - boss was very proud about his hires." It didn't take long to get to the top of the building - oh? The warehouse was hidden way up here? "Crafty Renamon..."
But it wasn't there, no. It was just the entrance - the entrance to a hidden apartment complex, or something similar to that. She gave a nod as she was led down, down... until they finally reached the basement, the light of sun lamps and the silent sound of an air conditioner fan filling the area.
She gave a blink, nodded, and would wave Gertrude off. "Will do. But this place is going to need some reorganizing..."

”Hmph. Fair point.”
The veemon shrugged a bit and turned her head to where they were going; there was no reason to push the issue and honestly past the initial suggestion there wasn't much effort to it. She understood why the other didn’t want to and the reasoning behind it made sense to her. The caution that the other displayed was definitely a good thing; if they had agreed to using the portal the veemon would of probably wondered about it in some capacity or another.
”He’s more proud of what we’ve done for him. Give or take a month ago Barbus wasn’t such a dolt and I still had my arm. Not everyone was happy about us moving into that building.”
The veemon tilted her head as she heard the other say how the renamon was crafty. Honestly he was more than that, he was methodical, though he tended to jump the gun when he got a smell of something that they needed. Like this floramon here. It would probably jumpstart their operations, get some of their much needed manpower…
”Yeah we didn’t know what sort of organization you’d want.”
The veemon took a seat on one of the few chairs to watch the floramon. Her eyes were sharply following the floramon’s actions; As though she was expecting to have to tend to these plants with them at some point or another. While barbus was physically superior to her at the moment; her mind was much much sharper. She’d lean forward in the chair and place her head on her hand; this was going to be a long day if she didn’t help out...
”...How long you think you're gonna stay around?"

Didn't know what kind of organization she wanted... so Bell was free to move stuff around?
That was what she took it as, and the Floramon would simply give a nod, before moving to do just that. She took note of where natural light was available in the warehouse, as well as the location of the outlets or the power generator for the sun lamps, then proceeded to start to get things how she wanted. Planters lined up against the wall, and lamps moving to face the wall instead of towards the outside, so the Floramon could control just how much light was available.
She made other such adjustments, to, and worked in relative silence - until she heard the rookie speak up. How long did she intend to stay around? "Well, it's my job, right?" The Floramon questioned, slitting a knife through a bag of soil. "I have to get the first rounds set up and initial plants going to prime the soil for the type of harvest Herald and Skald will want, and especially on the first day I'm going to have to stay over quite a bit so I can have some sort of system set up."
There was a lot to do - but the Floramon wasn't complaining, simply stating facts.
"Why? Bored, already?"
