It was a very pleasant day in the Digital World. The sun was shining high above the sky, the sky was blue with a couple of white clouds here and there, and the whole Server Woods was pleasantly silent. In these woods, an arrow would suddenly strike right into a tree, where a makeshift bullseye had been carved into it.
"Nice shot, Hawkeye," The twelve year old girl Kaya complimented her new partner Hawkeye, a Hawkmon with archery abilities.
Heh, partner... that was going to get some getting used to, for both the human and the Digimon.
"Of course it was," Hawkeye commented, "these are the very basics when it comes to keeping up my skills. Never hurts to start out with basic material, no? Lets you know where you need to start your improvement."
"You think you can teach me archery one day?" Kaya asked while observing her still brand new orange iC Digivice. "It doesn't have to be for fighting or anything like that. Archery is a big hobby in the human world, and it'd be fun to learn!"
"Hmmm..." Hawkeye hummed while thinking, rubbing the bottom of his cheek with his wing. "I suppose it couldn't hurt to teach you a few things. But we must start with the basics." Hawkeye handed Kaya his bow along with a singular arrow. "Try aiming for the bullseye on that tree."
The human girl nodded and took her stance, which was fairly messy. She extended the bow and pulled the arrow back before releasing. The arrow would then land a few inches in front of her, as she did not pull the arrow back hard enough.
Kaya sweatdropped. "Heheh, whoops!"
Hawkeye sighed. "Alright, I guess I need to show you more about archery..."

Server Woods was so dense and disorienting that Birdie was certain she wouldn't find anyone else inside. It seemed to be the best route to take back to Terminus City in order to avoid any further setbacks. The rabbit Digimon she'd met days prior had helped her recover from a recent bout at the Spartan Training Grounds, but he was absent at best and untrustworthy at worst. She didn't need that. She didn't need anyone's assistance, and she didn't want anyone stopping her to ask for help with some stupid task. Server Woods was her best bet at avoiding both. Things were good for a while. The silence, while pleasant for the first couple hours, became deafening and ultimately amplified the horrendous thoughts that normally rattled around inside her brain.
Relief to this mental plight came in the form of distant chatter and a dull thud of something hitting the wooden truck of a tree. Birdie slowed her pace as she approached the sound, mere curiosity driving her forward instead of detouring around the source. Her joints ached with the desire to kill again and, with any luck, the noise originated from some potential prey. Perhaps that was the real reason she continued onward, not out of curiosity but out of a murderous drive to find her next victim. As she emerged into the clearing, her eyes fell upon a pre-teen tamer and a Hawkmon. Memories of Dinohumon drawing his weapon and striking her left wing with one of his energized arrows washed over Birdie the moment her eyes settled on the bow in the human's hands.
The tamer giggled nervously about missing the target and the Hawkmon pointed out that he needed to show her more about archery, a comment which elicited an annoyed chuff from Birdie. "Take it from me, you should give up trying to teach that human anything. Their kind is stupid. A waste of space, if you ask me. You'd be better off going solo," the Biyomon sneered. Her voice resembled that of a young adult female, and her words slurred together in a display of apathy. More importantly, however, was what she said. It was unclear whether she spoke from experience or ignorance, for she didn't have a human accompanying her, but the confidence in her tone made it seem as though she was certain of her claims.

Kaya looked pretty disappointed when she walked over to the target to pull the arrows off of it. "I'm just a bit upset that my first try at archery turned out to be pretty pathetic. Seriously, how did it not go farther than a few inches? I'm so scrawny!""It is perfectly fine, Kaya," Hawkeye chuckled as he took the bow and arrows away from Kaya, "I wasn't the best at archery either when I first started out. With plenty of time and practice, I'm positive you'll improve. At the moment, we should improve how you pull back the arrow, however."Suddenly a voice rang through the partners' ears. It was the voice of a female, that's for sure. In response, Kaya immediately held up her Digivice (even though she had no idea how it worked yet), and Hawkeye pulled back an uncharged arrow and aimed it. The voice continued to speak, and the two of them turned to the source of it. A little pink bird with blue eyes and a red beak. "Another Digimon?" Kaya asked. She pulled out her silver D-Terminal and scanned the Digimon. On the screen gave a clear page of results:
Name: Biyomon Attribute: Vaccine Family: Wind Guardians Type: Chick
This Digimon has learned to use its wings to grip onto objects like arms, but in return it is poor at flying in the air.
Attacks Charming Tweet: Immobilizes the target Digimon by whistling a sweet song. Chirping Attack: Attacks using its wings while in the air. "Oh my gosh, it's so adorable!!!" Kaya squealed in response. Her joy was shattered completely when the Biyomon continued speaking, saying that it would be best if Hawkeye abandoned Kaya, calling humans stupid and a waste of space. Both took offense to this but Hawkeye was clearly the more triggered of the two, aiming the bow right at the Biyomon. "I do not know who you are, but I recommend that you run as far as you can before my arrow reaches you. You don't want to know the kinds of things that could happen if you get hit..."
"Hawkeye, wait, don't shoot her!" "What?! Why?!""Because she isn't attacking us. She's kinda mean but I can see some good in her. Just... give me a chance, please?""...be careful." Hawkeye would lower his bow down, obeying Kaya's wish. The preteen would slowly walk up to Biyomon, in a manner that was not threatening at all. "Hi there... my name's Kaya. I'm not as bad as you think I am, honest. What's your name?"

Birdie cocked an eyebrow when the Hawkmon nocked an arrow in response to her sudden arrival on the scene. Smart. Perhaps a bit hasty and presumptions on his part, but smart nonetheless. In this eat-or-be-eaten world, he was prepared to defend himself against anything and anyone. His allegiance to the human girl was not smart, however, and Birdie was quick to make that fact known. Her jab felt even more cruel following the tamer's giddy compliment that the Biyomon was "adorable." One day, perhaps today, the girl would eat her words. Birdie wasn't "adorable." She was fearsome, terrifying, a force to be reckoned.
The recommendation that the Hawkmon leave his companion was met with a disappointing response, but not an unexpected one. Birdie wasn't known for having a silver tongue and, as such, she wasn't expecting to so easily persuade the pet to break away from the shackles of slavery and abandoned his master. She was, however, hoping it would at least cause him to stop and consider it a moment. But she was not so lucky. The Hawkmon was as resolute as ever in defending his tamer. The brainwashed fool. Regardless, it was actually a wise decision on his part. Separating would've made them both more vulnerable targets to Birdie, so staying together would've made them more difficult to take down.
To show that she wouldn't be so easily intimidated, and perhaps to tempt the stranger into trying to hit her with his arrow, Birdie puffed out her chest, ruffled her feathers, and spread her wings out wide. The soft, downy feathers on the interior of her wings were mostly pink to match the feathers on the outside, though the distinct purple eye-shaped markings located in the center of each wing broke up the uniformity. The faux eyes appeared to be glaring at the Hawkmon and his tamer, silently attempting to intimidate and threaten them. Birdie flapped a few times to steady her balance, but otherwise didn't move.
It was about then that the girl commanded her Digimon partner not to shoot. Both birds were visually confused by this, though Birdie dared not take her eyes -- her real ones -- off of the bow that remained poised to shoot her. She was ready to dash away if he let the arrow fly. Her muscles actually ached in preparation to flee. The girl explained that even though Birdie was mean, she wasn't attacking and that alone must have meant there was some good in her. Birdie scoffed at the sentiment, not because she disagreed exactly, but because worrying about such matters seemed like a waste of time and energy.
The world itself had no moral compass, there was no morality behind who lived and who died. Newly hatched Digimon were prime targets for stronger individuals, and "good" Digimon frequently fell at the hands of "evil." Fresh and In-Training Digimon were in real danger when leaving the Village of Beginnings, and even Rookie and Champion levels had their fair share of life-threatening restrictions. Was it fair? Was it "good"? No. But it did mean survival for those who were strong. Children perished and the heartless survived. That was what the digital world dictated. And Birdie wanted to survive. To her, survival had nothing to do with good and evil, and so the argument regarding morality was pointless.
Still, the human girl was convinced that Birdie's moral compass was of real importance, and the Biyomon said nothing against it, perhaps because she was interested to see where things would go. When the Hawkmon lowered his bow, Birdie slowly let her wings fall back to her sides, though her feathers remained ruffled to show that she was keeping her guard up around these strangers. Her eyes narrowed into angry slits as the girl approached, and she reflexively hopped backwards a single time, ensuring that the two didn't get too close to one another.
Birdie was ready to peck the tamer's hand if she reached out, but the pink-and-blue Digimon didn't take the initiative to attack first. She wanted to attacked. Oh, how she wanted to. But with the Hawkmon watching this girl's back, Birdie was convinced she wouldn't be able to do much before being overwhelmed. She was confident in her ability to dodge most attacks, but two against one wasn't exactly promising odds. No. Birdie would bide her time and look for an opening, and if one didn't present itself then she'd leave. There was nothing keeping her here anyway.
The girl slowed as she approached and proceeded to introduce herself as Kaya. "I don't care," Birdie quickly rebutted. The girl either hadn't heard or wasn't dissuaded from trying to befriend the wild Digimon, for she explained that she wasn't a bad person. Birdie didn't believe it. She'd spent quite a bit of time with a young human girl before, and it was the most infuriating and patience-testing time of Birdie's entire life. Humans, by their nature, were "bad." The fact that this preteen tamer thought otherwise was both comical and annoying. When the human asked for the Biyomon's name in kind, it was met only by silence.
"Birdie," she croaked after a long moment of consideration. It was the name her own tamer had given her. It was a reminder of the life she left behind, and so it should've been disassociated from her, but something about it sounded right. It wasn't just the joy one feels upon receiving a playful nickname from a close friend, it was something more than that. It was the realization that she didn't have a name before the young girl came along and gave her one. With the name came a sense of belonging, of sorts. She'd never acknowledge such feelings aloud, but they were feelings she experienced nonetheless. She was "Birdie," even if she no longer had a tamer.

The meeting of the two parties did not start off well at all. Not only did the Biyomon try to convince Hawkeye to just take off on his own, leaving Kaya stranded or even possibly dead, but Hawkeye made it worse by aiming an arrow at her and threatening her, causing her to take a defensive stance of her own.
If Kaya had not been there, arrows would've gone flying and a fight between the two avian Digimon would definitely have broken out. Thankfully she managed to calm both of them down, Hawkeye lowering his bow and the Biyomon lowering her wings.
While Hawkeye was content with thinking that this Biyomon was nothing more than a stuck-up asshole, Kaya couldn't help but wonder why the pink bird was so standoffish. The way she spoke made it seem like she had experience with a Tamer before, and she obviously did not care for humans. There was nothing TOO bad with a majority of humans, right? Why was she grouping them all up as the bad guys?
When Kaya walked over to the Biyomon, she hopped back as if showing that she did not want to get too close. Kaya sighed and stayed where she was. Even though the Biyomon clearly wanted to attack, Hawkeye was still watching the two of them very closely. Her suspicions were correct; if she tried to attack Kaya, it would be an instant fight.
Kaya introduced herself to the Biyomon, which was met with a very blunt "I don't care". Kaya was definitely taken back by the sudden anger, but she took a deep breath and tried again. "I am Kaya Matsui. What's your name?"
After a bit of silence, Biyomon finally muttered that her name was Birdie. "Birdie... that's your name? I think it's a very nice name."
In the back, Hawkeye snickered a bit when Birdie's name was revealed. Kaya turned over at Hawkeye, giving him an angry glare.
"What? It's not the most original name in the world."
"Says the bird named after a superhero."
Kaya turned back towards Birdie, pulling something out of her bookbag. It was a paper bag with only one thing inside: dorayaki, a popular Japanese treat. She held it out towards Birdie. "You can have it if you're hungry."

The girl complimented Birdie's name, something that didn't elicit much of a reaction from the Biyomon, especially not in comparison to how she reacted upon hearing the Hawkmon's snide comment. He claimed the name "Birdie" wasn't very original. Why did that fill her with such rage? Would he have preferred she just go by "Biyomon" instead? This guy was really starting to piss her off. Perhaps it had something to do with the fact that the red bird's jab was actually an insult to Unica's creativity. Perhaps Birdie felt defensive of her tamer, especially since the young girl wasn't there to defend herself. Perhaps... though the more likely answer was that he was making a joke at Birdie's expense. He was mocking her, tempting her to attack.
The girl turned to tease her partner back, but Birdie's tunnel vision made it difficult for her to focus on anything other than the Hawkmon. She narrowed her eyes and flapped her wings, shaking off the agitation that was growing in her tiny body. In fact, she was prepared to launch an attack before the tamer reached into her backpack. The movement in Birdie's peripheral was enough to make her paranoid that the human was trying to do something sneaky. The Biyomon snapped her attention to Kaya, glare still present on her face as she carefully and silently watch the girl pull out a paper bag.
Food? The tamer offered it over it up, clearly just trying to be friendly, but Birdie wasn't having it. "I'm not hungry!" she spat, snapping her beak in an aggressive manner. To show that she wasn't going to be seen as weak or vulnerable to these two, Birdie stepped forward and stomped on the bag, ripping it from Kaya's grasp and digging it into the ground. Her talons, which had looked fairly inoffensive up until this point, suddenly looked sharper, longer, and more dangerous upon closer inspection. Had she slashed her talons a little more to either side, she would've cut the girl's hands, or if she had lunged any farther then she would've clawed the girl's face and chest. She was restraining herself.
Birdie looked over the tamer's shoulder again in order to see how the Hawkmon reacted. If he remained where he was, even if he drew his weapon, she wouldn't twisted her heel into the bag to make her point more prominent. She wouldn't just stop with the lunch bag. If the Hawkmon got any closer, however, she would've flapped her wings and flew a few feet off the ground, prepared to attack if he followed after her. She refused to be mocked. She refused to be seen as weak. If she had to fight to make that point then she would, but she wasn't so blind by rage (yet) to run head-first into a conflict when she was outnumbered. A fight in the sky would've made things a little more fair, however. It all depended on what the partners did next.

Kaya could tell that Birdie was pretty mad at Hawkeye's comment about her name "not being that original." While he wasn't necessarily wrong per say, but that isn't something you just say to someone. Kaya looked back at the Biyomon and tried to calm her down. "Don't listen to that birdbrain. Your name is very pretty."
The way Birdie looked at Kaya as she reached into her bag kinda freaked Hawkeye out. This Digimon clearly was not fond of humans, and he was afraid she'd kill her in only one swipe. It looked like another confrontation was about to go down, but that was thankfully put to rest when Kaya offered her some dorayaki.
Despite the human girl's attempts to be friends, Birdie was very adamant in how she felt. She screamed that she wasn't hungry before taking the bag from Kaya's hands and stomping on it over and over again. Alas, the dorayaki was now inedible, a shallow husk of what once was now on the forest dirt and grass.
When Birdie's gaze met Hawkeye's, she was met with a look of "what the hell is wrong with you?" rather than of anger. He clearly wasn't going to attack but he didn't look too happy. Just annoyed. Kaya had a similar look on her face as well, but less intense than Hawkeye's.
"What was that for?" Kaya asked. "I was just trying to be nice to you, you could've just said no thank you. Why did you have to destroy the bag as well? Now no one can enjoy it..."

When Birdie was scolded, a different expression crossed over her face. Regret? Pity? Sorrow? The new emotion only lasted as long as it took her to shift her gaze from the Hawkmon to the girl in front of her. By the time she locked eyes with the tamer, anger and annoyance had once become apparent on her face. "Good then," she spat in response to the girl's words. With that, she removed her foot from the bag and took a few steps backwards. Being so close to a human was not her idea of fun. Plus, it was obvious she had irritated Kaya, and she didn't want to risk the human doing something stupid -- trying to grab her, for instance.
"Starve, for all I care." Her words were cruel and callous, but her tone was flat. Save for the narrowed eyes and squared shoulders, Birdie seemed to be almost completely devoid of any strong emotion either way. She really didn't care if they died out here, did she? There was a pause as she considered something, her expression never wavering to let the strangers know exactly what she was thinking. After a few seconds, she glanced back to the Hawkmon, her entire body tensing up the moment her eyes locked onto him. Instead of attacking or spouting more hostilities, she did something unexpected: she gave some helpful information.
"There are meat and fruit berries back that way," she explained, motioning to her right with one wing. Was this her way of apologizing? Was the regret she felt previously actually getting to her? Her voice was still pretty dull, making it difficult to tell exactly what she was feeling, though her glare and tense posture remained. "I don't know if humans can stomach the stuff, but at least you'll be fine. So long as you actually find them. The Server Woods is a big place. Dark too. I hope you don't get lost or run into any scary Digimon." There was no denying that the way she spoke was very curious. It almost sounded like she was hinting at something.

Kaya hadn't lost her spirit quite yet, but man Birdie was really pushing the limits. Kaya had been nothing but nice to the Biyomon so far, stopping a fight from erupting and even offering Birdie a gift, and what does she do? She stomps it on the ground and tears it to pieces. Kaya was close to tears from the treatment she was getting.
Hawkeye noticed a brief expression on Birdie's face before it vanished. It wasn't malicious glee, or anger... it looked like sadness a bit. Hawkeye couldn't be 100% certain though, as her expression immediately changed back to one of anger and bitterness. Hawkeye could be a downer, but even he was getting sick of this Biyomon's attitude. He looked down at Kaya, who was on her knees with her hands covering her face. Not knowing how to... well, cheer someone up, Hawkeye simply walked up and placed a wing on Kaya's shoulder.
I just don't get why she's being so mean... Kaya thought to herself. Is it something I did? I was just trying to be nice...
Birdie began to spoke again. She brought up something about there being meat and berries in the forest for Kaya and Hawkeye to collect. She says that she hoped they didn't run into any scary Digimon. The way she spoke was indeed very ominous. So ominous that Hawkeye felt he needed to voice is suspicion.
"Just what are you getting at?" Hawkeye asked, glaring at Birdie, "And you still owe Kaya an apology."

When the Hawkmon approached his human and rested a wing on her shoulders in an attempt to comfort her, Birdie took a few more steps away. She couldn't be too careful around this fools. It looked like they were reaching a threshold with her, and she feared what sort of stupid thing they'd try pulling if she crossed it. And yet, at the same time, she wanted them to. She was goading them because she wanted a fight. The human looked down for the count, having been deeply affected by Birdie's words, but the Hawkmon looked raring to go.
Only humans could be rendered so useless with only a few words. Pathetic. Truly pathetic. So pathetic that she didn't even deserve pity. She was an emotional hunk of meat in need of constant protection. What good was she to Hawkeye? This was the precise reason Birdie had left her own tamer, in fact. The girl was too emotional, too frail, and couldn't even look out for herself in the digital world. So why then was the Hawkmon so desperate to protect his own human? What redeeming qualities did she have to keep Hawkeye around? He must have been brainwashed... or stupid... or both.
Ultimately, it didn't really matter to Birdie. His demeanor and tone were combative, so she was quick to return the sentiment. The two avian Digimon glared at each other, one demanding an apology and the other refusing to budge. Though she was growing tired of these two, she decided she couldn't run away. Not now. Fleeing would make Hawkeye feel like he'd won, and she couldn't have that. "I won't apologize to that flesh-bag," Birdie said, the cruel acidity that had once plagued her voice once again returning. "If it's upset then it's weak. Leave it out here to die," she hissed, blue eyes remaining locked onto the red bird as she spoke.

Birdie had made three mistakes so far.
The first of these mistakes was the treatment that she had given to Kaya. All that the human wanted to do was to try and make friends with the Biyomon, even offering her gifts and the like. And what did Birdie do with those acts of kindness? She simply spat out rude insults at her and destroyed said gifts. An action that even other Digimon would find way too harsh.
The second mistake she had made was refusing to apologize to Kaya. This Biyomon was objectively in the wrong in this situation, and all she had to do to fix it was to apologize. Too bad her pride kept getting in the way and just made her seem even worse than she probably actually was.
The third mistake was telling Hawkeye to leave her out here to die. Hawkeye's eyes widened at that statement, before they turned into eyes of pure anger and hatred. Before anyone could possibly react, Hawkeye pulled out an arrow and charged it with red energy.
"BOMB ARROW!"
"WAIT, DON'T-"
It was too late. Hawkeye had released the arrow, which flew right at Birdie and would explode upon hitting contact with anything. The fight had now just begun. Hawkeye uses "Bomb Arrow" on Birdie (Cooldown: 0/2)

Had Birdie crossed a line? Had she been too harsh? Did she deserve whatever punishment came her way? Yes. Undoubtedly. But she didn't see it that way. Given the warped lens with which she viewed the world, the Hawkmon and girl were so ignorant and helpless that they deserved to perish. Survival of the fittest. Just because they didn't like what she had to say didn't make it any less true -- to Birdie, at least. Hawkeye let his disapproval be known by drawing back his bow and charging the nocked arrow with a red energy. Birdie had no idea what sort of attack he was trying to pull, but she knew it wasn't going to be good. She had to move. She flapped her wings once, twice, three times; and, just like that, she leapt in the air and took flight, narrowly missing Hawkeye's attack. As his arrow collided with a tree, it exploded, catching nearby foliage on fire and leaving a sizable hole in truck of the tree which had been struck. Yikes. That would've hurt... had it hit. Fortunately for Birdie, she was fast and agile. Not only was speed on her side, but so too was the advantage of being airborne. It looked like the Hawkmon used a bow to attack, which meant he probably had to stay on the ground to attack. If her assumption was accurate, she could fly circles over his head all day long. At the very least, the human couldn't reach her from so far below. Without taking a moment to try talking out their problems or to evaluate the situation at hand, Birdie laughed and swooped down, hoping to get in close to her target. She was fast, a blur of pink and blue feathers that almost looked purple as she cut through the air. The question of whether she was faster than Hawkeye's reaction time remained to be seen, however. As Birdie approached, she shouted, "Spiral Wing!" and cartwheeled in mid-air, still flapping her wings as she did. In a blink, the air began to twist and whirl into a small tornado roughly the size of the avian Digimon responsible for creating it. The twister itself wasn't very strong, but it may have been enough to throw Hawkeye's bow to the side or push him backwards if it hit. BATTLE LOG: Hawkeye attacks Birdie with Bomb Arrow. Birdie narrowly avoids the attack by taking to the air. She counters with Spiral Wing (Birdie cartwheels toward the enemy, summoning a small tornado in the process).

Hawkeye growled when his arrow just narrowly missed his target. He ended up taking out a small tree with that explosion arrow. Ah well, at least Birdie has the message that Hawkeye would not be someone you wanted to mess with.
Ah well, I have a few more tricks up my sleeve, at least... just need to decide which trick I should pull out of the bag first.
"Please stop this..." Kaya would plead to the two pissed-off avians but of course neither one of them was gonna listen. She rested her face in her hands in sadness.
Hawkeye took note of Birdie's ability to fly. This would hinder things very slightly, but not even that much. Hawkeye could still jump around and get a good view of his target, at the very least. Hawkeye catched closely as Birdie flew straight towards Hawkeye before launching a tornado-like attack at him.
Of course since he could see it, it wasn't too hard to dodge. Hawkeye made a barrel roll to the right to dodge the attack, which would then hit a tree as well, slicing it in half.
"This forest is gonna die before long..."
Hawkeye glared at Birdie as he pulled another arrow back, this time charged with yellow energy. There was a gleam in his eye as he let go of the arrow, which in turn would send a bolt of electricity straight at Birdie. Hawkeye dodges the "Spiral Wing" attack, before launching a ZAP ARROW at Birdie.
Zap Arrow: Hawkeye infuses his arrow with the power of electricity, causing the arrow to be lightning fast. Cooldown is two posts.

Birdie was fast. She knew this. She had no doubt in her ability to outmaneuver Hawkeye in the air. The problem was that she hadn't taken into account her rival's own speed. He rolled out of the way and instantly prepared another arrow. Birdie saw this and began to react by flying upwards, but there was little she could do at point-blank range. She had closed the gap in order to attack, and she'd pay dearly for that. Hawkeye's arrow struck her square in the chest, which would've hurt by its own volition, but it had also been infused with electricity -- a deadly combo. The current surged through Birdie's body and, without any ground to help dispel the energy, the pain was amplified. She let out a pained scream and instantly fell to the ground, spasming uncontrollably. This was bad. She had to counter right now. Her yowls of agony transformed into a pleasant melody of chirps and whistles. Unless Kaya or Hawkeye had an ability to prevent themselves from hearing Birdie's siren song, they'd both be temporarily immobilized, rendered incapable of moving just long enough for her to recover and get away. No, not get away. She didn't want to flee, not unless her life depended on it. She'd see this through. She'd make the Hawkmon pay for picking a fight with her. She'd kill him and absorb his data right here. And she'd make the human girl watch. As the song continued, Birdie slowly rose to her feet, her eyes wide and wild with blood-lust and her limbs twitching on occasion as a result of the lingering electricity in her body. BATTLE LOG: Hawkeye attacks Birdie with Zap Arrow. Birdie gets struck and falls to the ground. She counters with Charming Tweet (Birdie is capable of charming and immobilizing an enemy by whistling a cute song - 1 post duration, 3 post cooldown).

Hawkeye smirked when the Zap Arrow successfully struck the Biyomon right into the chest. All of her vile talking made her a worthy candidate for such pain, especially since she was in the sky so there was nowhere to dispel the energy. Birdie fell right onto the ground, her body twitching due to the electricity.
That's what you deserve for messing with her, Bitchmon.
While Hawkeye was pleased with the outcome of this fight so far, Kaya wasn't. She was not a fan of all the fighting, and if both birds weren't tossing out glowing objects of death at each other she would have stepped in between the two a while ago.
All of a sudden Birdie began singing a pleasant sounding melody of bird chirps. Kaya would notice that her muscles began to grow a bit stiff but she could still move them. What was Birdie doing...? "Hawkeye, are you okay?"
Hawkeye only responded in simple grunts. In fact, the Hawkmon couldn't even move. He was stuck in a traditional archer-like pose with clenched teeth. W-What's happening? Why can't I move?!
Birdie had finally risen to her feet and began moving towards Hawkeye with a clear look of crazy in her eyes. If Kaya was right, Birdie definitely had the intention of deleting and loading Hawkeye. Even if she failed to load him, due to his corrupted data, if he was deleted he would never come back.
She couldn't let that happen.
