NEXUS Chapter 1: "Friend Request"

Post by Zachary "Zaber" Scryer on Nov 10, 2019 23:26:49 GMT
The days flew by since his chat conversation on the Tamer Net, and there he was. Since Zachary could travel to the Digital World via his Digivice, it wasn't as hard to get to Terminus as it would put him relatively close to his destination. Anyone else whom wouldn't know about it would have to get to the city via Trailmon, especially from the human world. The Train Station was not something Zachary used but it did have its uses, especially when he was stuck in that parallel dimension and faced an evil version of himself (MPC ). He had arrived with more than enough time and now sat at the rim of the large fountain. The towering buildings reached up around him. Had it not been for the criss-cross faint lines across the blue sky and clouds-- that and the presence of multiple digital monsters around him-- he could of easily thought he was still in the real world. He sat on the rim of the round, large fountain, feeling the spray of water on his neck as he tried to relax. He wore his long blue coat, keeping him comfortable with the cool breeze that blew by. He had his pair of goggles worn over his forehead and had his hands in his pocket. Next to him, laying down on the stone rim of the fountain was none other than Panthermon. The black jaguar digimon with the golden accessories laid there like a napping Egyptian cat with his eyes closed. Though he appeared sleeping, he was more aware of his surroundings as he too waited for the unknown guests to arrive. " You seem nervous," the cat said to his partner. " Just not sure what to expect. I guess no matter where you go, meeting people you never met can be a bit unnerving. " Zachary replied as he adjusted himself on the rim of the fountain so he could sit better. Panthermon just cracked open an eye to him, planning to naturally keep him safe if anything did go wrong, but there was no reason to expect them to if they all were decent people. As he sat there, something caught his eyes. He soon saw a series of colored fish swimming nearby in the water of the fountain. Curious, the cat craned his head over, seeing the oddly colored fish. His cat-like instincts began to take over as he reached a paw, trying to play with the swimming fishes. "Heeeey! Paws off my friends, cat!" a voice shouted. Panthermon snapped back as another thing swam up to him-- turning out to be a white aquatic mammel digimon-- a Gomamon. The fish swam up to him and hid behind him-- and some vanished, an odd technique only Gomamon could use. " Um, sorry..." Panthermon said, clearly not about to eat another Digimon's friends. If anything he just was curious. And so they waited, Zachary keeping his mind open and calm to meet these strangers whom he met online, and with hope that they would all get alone swimmingly.

The directions to Terminus had led Pickle to a very interesting place, a crowded train terminal full of Digimon and Tamers of all sorts, not to mention the massive Trailmons that sat on the different tracks. Pickle quickly found the correct one and boarded, watching carefully out the window as scenery passed by in a blur. It didn't take long at all for Terminus City to come into view, the massive walls surrounding it towering high into the sky and blocking Pickle's sight as they drew closer. The Trailmon slowly came to a halt and she quickly disembarked, her excitement at this opportunity to meet more people like her already starting to bubble over once more.
In the days prior to the meetup, Pickle had spent most of her time awake trying to contain the excitement that was building up. Now though, setting foot into a proper city in the Digital World for the first time, that excitement ebbed away for a moment as she found herself needing a bit to just take in the vast amount of different kinds of Digimon surrounding her. It wasn't just Digimon here though, in the distance she would occasionally catch a glimpse of humans. None of them were the people she had come here to meet however, so she kept moving forward.
As the fountain came into sight Pickle picked up speed, scanning the area for anyone that fit the descriptions they'd been given. That coat, the large feline companion, Pickle grinned and ran up to 'Zaber' with an excited shout. She was wearing an oversized, pale pink hoodie covered in a cat head pattern, a simple grey skirt, and long black leggings beneath that with a well worn pair of lilac purple running shoes on her feet. The backpack slung over her shoulders was covered in charms of all shapes, sizes, and colours to the point where the original faded blue colour of the fabric was barely visible.
"Heeeeyyy! You're Zaber right? It's really awesome to see you in person! You're pretty tall, I love your jacket! Is this your partner?"Pickle quickly rattled all of that out in one breath, first reaching out to shake 'Zaber's' hand and then turning to look over Panthermon. "You are just gorgeous aren't you!" They then seemed to pause for just a second to collect themself, stepping back a bit to exit the personal space bubbles they had inadvertently violated. "Sorry, hi I'm Piscesius, but you can call me Pickle because that's a dumb name. We talked on Tamernet about meeting here!"

Gosh... what tomfoolery had she gotten herself into. Ever since having her intense dialogue with a certain, delightful young lad she considered a cherished friend, Cion had tried to heed his advice and get acquainted with more people while also restoring old and lost bonds. It was a strenuous task that demanded her presence all over the digital realm, but admittedly it was fulfilling, too. If nothing else, this goal and the curiosity for its results were something tangible she could cling to.
Still... how the ancient digimon managed to involve herself in a get-together with younglings was somewhat beyond her. Not that she held any prejudice towards the apparently amicable strangers, perish the thought, but their words alone sufficed as proof that they were neophytes. Not only that, but many of them were humans who likely had barely a clue about this parallel dimension. Again, this was of course not inherently bad, but was she capable of resisting the urge to act as a tutor? She had already done so quite often over the ages.
Worse than that, did they really have to meet up in Terminus of all places? Certainly the day was radiant, enshrouding the capital city in a veil of serenity. However, she knew that this was merely a facade to hide the titanic shadows creeping around every corner. Crime and villainy were daily occurrences, even if the worst happened mostly in the underground ruins. Wny not lovely Snowflake, or at least the seaport of debauchery called Whitewater? Sighing, she figured she truly had to explicate a few important things - or perhaps plenty.
Upon reaching the proximity of the fountain, the bipedal fennec who was the size of a preschooler adjusted her short, green scarf. Platinum fur covered the entirety of the vulpine sentinel; the white beauty of pelts covering her neck and tail gently swaying back and forth in the wind as the aureate gleam in her eyes focused on the nearby figures. Recognizing their profiles from the chat room avatars, Cion nodded and gracefully strode towards them.
Visibly carrying herself with ladylike poise, the female fox eventually came to a halt in front of Sir Scryer, his nameless partner and Madame Heath. Not sharing the former individual's nervousness, nor the quick tongue of the latter, the unassuming ascendant moved a paw above her chest and properly bowed to them. "A pleasure to encounter you in person at last. I am Cion - from our Tamernet interaction."
Tilting her head upwards, she greeted those present with a confident yet composed smile. "I hope this world and its inhabitants have been welcoming and hospitable to all of you." She kindly stated her best intentions. Evidently, the unique Panthermon was serving as an effectual companion to the digidestined - given that they had decided to stick together. It was not an outcome every team was blessed with.

The school day was over, it was the usual for the most part, get to class, eat lunch, study for tests. John just went through this like usual, slightly bored but with some effort. As soon as the last class was over, John left and went back to his dorm to change.
At Terminus City, John walked around casually with Runa in his backpack. He was in a green shirt with blue pants, and he waved to a few digimon he passed. "You sure you don't wanna meat them? They seemed nice Runa." John said to his backpack. "Yeah, well seeming nice doesn't mean they are. I'll come out of this backpack when I'm good and ready." She said, nibbling on a sandwich.
John shrugged and made his way to the fountain, when he arrived he saw an assortment of people/digimon, deciding that was them he approached. "Hey there, if you all are the group I chatted with a few days ago, I'm the guy who used JoJo as his username, real name's John. If you're not, then disregard all that and forget about me as I blend into the town, never to be seen again."

Ami looked around Terminus, she was seriously nervous. She hated talking with people in person...but she loved it ,but she hated, but she....oh this is going nowhere. The poor girl only had one experience with a tamer in person and well...the two of them were both sort of...forced into an interaction by a Trailmon.
And this city was...a new experience for her as well, Luckily she had Mikumon leading the way being her usual confident cat self. Miku even said hi to nearly everyone they passed, including going as far as introducing her tamer. Ami was pretty sure that she was supposed to introduce Mikumon not the other way around. As they neared what appeared to be a small group she got extremely panicky.
"A-Ah...m-maybe....t-they...u-uh..." Mikumon stopped walking, looking back at her partner with a tired expression.
"Really?" She asked, flicking her tail "you can't hide from other tamers forever"
Ami held her hands out waving them rapidly. "I-I...I'm not hiding! I...just...t-think maybe...we could just do it online..."
"What happened to all your confidence? You were so excited"
"The...idea of actually talking to them...is...a little daunting..." Ami sighed, leaning down "you see...people and I...we don't get along..."
Mikumon sighed, looking back at the group before leaping onto Ami's shoulder. "Well alright then, just one thing"
"Hm?" suddenly Mikumon jumped off behind Ami causing her to stumble forward a little and right up to where the group was. The young girl froze up adjusting her goggles on habit. Mikumon trotted over and chuckled.
"Hey there! This is Ami! She was a little shy so I uh...gave her some encouragement"
Ami glared at her partner then looked back to the group. "U-Uh...Ami...K-Kurino, um...m-my username w-was AKira...? U-Uh...i-if you're even the same people...u-um...t-this is...M-Mikumon" Ami stuttered out, before glaring at her partner again who was looking extremely smug. Ami knew for sure she would have quite a few things to say to Mikumon when they were alone. For now she gave the best (and most awkward) smile and tried to pretend she wasn't terrified.

Zachary too was nervous so he had tried taking deep breaths and closed his eyes to hear the babble of the fountain and the splashing inside it. He tried to keep his peace while Panthermon was there, hearing his purrs too...
... that was till there was a sudden, abrupt shout right in front of him. He snapped open his eyes to find a brunette girl suddenly up close as she yelled a greeting. Panthermon's fur went up in alert too by the sudden greeting.
"I-- whoh- whoh-whoh... WHAAAAH!!The bombardmentt of fast questions literally pushed Zachary back and caused him to lose his balance. He fell backwards and right over the edge...
SPLASH!!
Panthermon's tail went up and his gaze to his left as he now saw Zachary fall rear-first into the fountain with a loud splash. Zachary was now soaked, up to his waist in water, his hair now soaked. He had not expected the sudden entrance and now was not as comfortable as he was before.
"Ba-hahahaha!!" The Gomamon laughed, back-paddling in the water as he laughed to see the human fall like that. "Wet behind the ears, huh? AHAHA!!"
Panthermon cast a growl at the little seal while Zachary turned, and gave a mocking splash of water at the little guy, urging him away.
At the comment from 'Pickle', Panthermon looked to the girl and seemed somewhat aback by her outward comment on his appearance. "Um... thank you? That's kind of you to say," he said, never considering himself a 'gorgeous' Digimon up till then.
Despite the weight of the damp clothing, Zachary rose up and out of the water, his pants, socks and shoes soaked as he got out of the fountain. Despite the grumpy disposition for falling into the fountain, Zachary took a breath and looked to his new visitors. "Um, hi there. I'm Zaber. That's me, but you can call me Zachary-- either name is fine," he said, despite the cold chill now on him from his wet things.
Cion was the next to arrive as she gave a calm and elegant greeting. That was something Zachary didn't expect. This one was indeed a Digimon, and while he had many questions, it was nice to know that another Digimon had answered his message. He smiled as she greeted them. "Nice to meet you too. Yeah, things been good so far... I'm Zaber," he spoke to her.
Around the time the others showed up-- Zachary was starting to feel cold so he turned to Panthermon. "Panthermon, do you mind?" he asked, his connection with him adding to the rest of his request and the fact it was obvious. "You all might want to get some distance from him for a bit please," Zachary added.
The Panther nodded and stretched a bit while still seated. He arched his back a bit and opened his maw with a 'yawn'-- but soon his entire body 'burst into flames'. The elegantly 'dark' rookie Digimon's form became covered in black and orange flame, but the cat naturally unharmed by the fires he produced. While a powerful ability, he kept his flame in control for their purpose-- to warm his tamer and dry off his clothing as he stayed nearby. Feeling the water from his clothing start to warm and evaporate, Zachary felt a bit more pleasant as he looked to the two others who now joined them. John and Ami-- and her partner, Mikumon.
"Yes, you're in the right place. I'm Zachary, AKA Zaber. " he replied again to let the new comers know who he was as he took off his goggles from his forehead, to allow his hair to dry too as he felt Panthermon's heat. "The hellcat here is my partner, Panthermon." he added with a gesture to Panthermon.
It wouldn't be wise to pet him while he was on fire, but the cat nodded in their direction to acknowledge the group. "Nice to meet you," he greeted, his voice carrying a small growl over the flames he created. His tone was steady, almost cool and stern, but not unkind. A serious persona of a Digimon-- which was rare to some rookies.

Phew... seldom had Cion encountered so many people, particularly younglings from Earth, at once. Remembering all of these new names was going to be a burden for her, as was adapting properly to the general attitude and mannerisms of the more or less easygoing lads and gals. Nonetheless, the certainty that this was bound to be a fascinating experience, as per the advice of her cherished friend, was evident. Perhaps this meeting would turn out to be a fine first steps towards easing her worries. This was of course a positive thing, and even if that was not the case then there was nothing lost.
Granting everyone who arrived the same amount of courtesy and respect, as it was becoming to a lady of grace, the small, silver fennec eventually raised her body from bowing. Her aureate eyes lingered on the person indirectly responsible for this gathering of individuals - the boy called Zaber. Dumbfounded by the incident, she was worried to learn that a single scream managed to scare him that much. Oh and the digital world had plenty worse in store for him if he did not tread with care. But oh well - at least there was no offense taken. Instead, a sense of amusement was lingering.
"Do you need or want help?" She asked with the sincere intention of providing her assistance. However, Panthermon immediately took the initiative and coated itself in umbral fires as a means to dry the clothes of his companion. Chuckling briefly with a confident smirk, the tiny fox leaned a paw against her hip and softly shook her head. "Hellcat, you say?" She wondered rhetorically before turning to the kind yet serious, and naturally ablaze feline. Obviously, the unassuming ascendant was not concerned nor cautious about the Rookie's flames.
"A pleasure to meet you as well, destined partner." Cion returned the introduction kindly, holding those willing to dedicate themselves to a chosen one in the highest regards. Gladly she reached out a paw to the digimon to shake it. Regardless, there was an oddity present that astonished her somewhat. Folding her arms, she claimed a moment to scratch the white pelt on her chest. "I'm surprised that you bear no common name. It's almost a curiosity these days - digimons being referred to by their species that is. May I ask why, good sirs?"

Pickle felt a bit bad as they seemed to have startled Zaber... or Zachary as he was called, badly enough to have fallen into the fountain. However then a bunch of other people arrived and Zachary seemed fine with it overall so they figured they didnt need to do too much to apologize right now. "Sorry about that! I didn't mean to startle you."
The others gathered and introduced themselves and Pickle darted from person to person with her hand outstretched and a grin on her face. "Hi I'm Pickle it's great to meet you all! This is gonna be awesome you all look so cool!" She was overjoyed to be meeting so many new people. This whole Digimon thing was possibly the best thing that had ever happened to her, not only giving her a chance to help a bunch of people but a chance to make so many new friends!
Cion was really cool and polite, while John seemed really chill. Ami was nervous while her partner clearly wasn't. Pickle was excited to get to know all of them! All the humans seemed to be around their age which was interesting, more evidence that Des and Ravenna's observations about age being correct. It was of course hard to tell with the Digimon since they did t age like humans did, but Cion seemed older considering how she talked.
Pickle bounced in place a few times before settling on their heels. "So we're gonna go to Whitewater right? I've never been, what's it like?"

John chuckled a bit at Zaber falling into the fountain, he then started to walk forward to help him out when he was told to stand back. When Panthermon ignited, John took a step back from the heat, surprised at the color of the flames, but at the same time intrigued. " Woah, that's a cool color." He commented, Runa, having heard that, was curious as to what this flame looked like, and zipped the backpack open very slightly to see. Peaking out from the top a little bit, with her ears held back, she saw the Panthermon and stared at the flames, she may have stared a bit too long though, enough for someone to see a little bit of her fur. John just listened to everyone talk, taking in their questions to one another while he didn't have anything of worth to add.
It's when the subject of Whitewater came up that he chose to speak. "Oh it's a great place, there's so much to do there, which given how it's one of the largest cities in the digital world that's not very surprising." John stretched his arms. "I go there a good amount, so I know my way around, getting lost there will be a non issue."

Cion's comment to Panthermon was an unusual one to the cat as he was 'born' with that name, and by nature most Digimon do address themselves by their species name. It was a coding thing perhaps, and only a hindrance when there were multitudes of the same species around, like how Tribes of Leomon operated. The cat looked to Zachary for a moment while he listened to the others, then turned to CIon. "Well, all us Digimon know our species name. Just something I was programmed with. If anything , my partner at times calls me "Shadow" , but I prefer Panthermon," he said rather matter-of-factly, "Besides, you could say that I am ... one of a kind."
That was another fact to point out. Due to the nature of Panthermon's creation, he was born from the creative thoughts and dreams of Zachary. Only from the Digital World did it just decide to create a new Digimon from those desires and as such, Panthermon could easily be considered a 'prototype' Digimon. If anyone there tried to scan the Digimon, they wouldn't find any data on it beyond its picture.
Even Zachary heard it and kept quiet... after all, how does one drop a bomb about ' by the way, Ii Created my own digimon', in casual conversation.
After a bit, Zachary felt more comfortable and brushed away the accident with "Pickle", just glad he met someone that friendly. That and Panthermon's flames made him warmer and was already leaving his clothing dry. However, as the conversation came to 'Whitewater', this threw Zachary through a loop. "What is that? A place or town? I have never been there. I only been in the Digital World a few times and always briefly. The reason I suggest we meet up here is cause from what I understand, its the Digital World's captial. And the first stop through the Trailmon station. I only been a tamer for a few months and even though that, I am still learning much about this world. But was here a problem? I figure here was one of the safest places in the Digital World. " he asked. This addressed to John as well, since he must of been there often.

With her arms folded, Cion calmly yet unintentionally piercingly gazed at the one and only Panthermon who still discharged purple flames. It was with a faint, delighted smirk that she payed attention to his answer - or rather lack there of. The way he tried to beat around the bush, suggesting that she of all digimons did not fathom her nor her kind's nature, was amusing to say the least. The sole thing she was interested in was the absence of a proper name, which thankfully was answered. A mixture of preference and rejection... an oddity, but to each their own.
"I see." The silver fennec responded kindly and unwoundedly, giving the black feline a confident, coltish wink before tilting her head to face Pickle. She was quite a hyper individual, especially for a youngling, but ti was obvious that she had the heart at the right place. For as long as she knew some limits and shared her glee with everyone, then the unassuming ascendant would likely get along well with her. Nonetheless, a less flowery description of Whitewater was probably needed as a contrast to John's statement.
"It's the crucible of debauchery and indulgence. Most conceivable joys and cravings can be experienced there - for a price of course." The restrained Arniomon explained matter-of-factly, hoping this gave a clearer idea of the beachside city than Mr. Jourdain's elliptical embellishment. This was naturally not to dissuade nor antagonize the members of this group for today, but she was a firm advocate of empirical realism and exchange of views. Without facts and clashing theses, how was consensus ever to be achieved?
Shifting her gaze to the young lad Zachary, she chuckled and sighed. The general lack of knowledge of this realm was apparent and concerning, but it was a common endeavor these days, was it not? Ultimately, Cion was simply glad that she was present to help out newcomers who were unable to know any better. For a few reasons she did not quite understood yet, she enjoyed acting as a mentor.
"Terminus is indeed the capital, though there is hardly an overarching, global government to speak of. City states would be Earth's equivalent. And although this metropolis is certainly safe when it comes to sporadic attacks from ferals, it is also the hub of almost every criminal activity of this world. There is not a lot to fear while out in the open, but I highly recommend you not to tread into the underground sections. Life there is... a close-lipped free-for-all."

"Whitewater's where that place Jojo was talking about is! I thought we were just meeting here since it's pretty central and then hopping on another Trailmon to get there." Cion's words about the underbelly of the city definitely caught Pickles attention. "I guess anywhere with lot of people is gonna have crime. What do you mean by underground section though? Do you mean literally underground or do you just mean shady parts of town? Is it like there's a whole city underneath us or just like, a sewer?"
"I'm not too picky about where we go honestly, everything's still pretty new to me so I'm okay with wherever. This place is huge though, I knew the central city of the Digital World was going to be bustling but this is still more than I was expecting. I'm kind of excited to see what the other cities here are like!" Pickle bounced on the spot excitedly, head still on a swivel as they took everything around them in. "One of the best things about coming here is how much new stuff there is to see and do. I love it."
A shift of movement on Jojo's back caught their attention as a hint of yellow fur peeked from his bag. Pickle smiled and moved closer. "Are you his partner? you don't have to come out of the bag if you don't want to I just wanted to say hello!"

Ami was mostly silent, she really wasn't good at talking with people and she had no clue about any of the places they were talking about.
The comment about Species name interested her. She'd mostly called Mikumon well...Mikumon. Miku was just a short name she used in public places, everyone figured the pink cat was a stuffed toy.
Mikumon nudged her partner. "Go on, socialize!" She whispered
"Mikumon, you don't quite understand that i-"
"Do it. You'll never get over this shyness if you don't"
While internally debating whether one could, get over, being shy she reluctantly agreed.
"I've not been very far in the Digital world, this is all really new to me. I hardly know anything about it honestly, so ...uh... forgive me if I'm a little bit...quiet"
Mikumon shakes her head. "Ugh! Don't start by apologising!!" She trots in front of her partner "So Whitewater huh? I've heard a little about it, but I've never been"
Mikumon spoke confidently lacking any of Ami's nervousness, even now one could see Ami playing with her Digivice purely out of fear. "It sounds....interesting..." Ami whispers.

Seemed that there was some miscommunication about their plans for today. "Nah it's fine to just stay here, if you think it's safer we can stay in Terminus today, Zaber. Besides, it's better not too go to far for people who aren't used to the time difference. Don't want to miss school or something else important."
John said this, and then was surprised at Cion's blunter description of Whitewater. "Well, I suppose that's one way to describe it, and I guess it does ring a bit true in some parts. But I think there's still plenty of good to it, and like Pickle said, anywhere with a big population is bound to bring in some shady people."
Runa jumped a bit when Pickle approached her, then she ducked back in an zipped it closed. John looked back at his backpack and sighed. "Yeah she's my partner, don't take it personally Pickle, she's just really cautious around new people. She'll eventually warm up to you, I'm sure."
John then talked to Ami about her quietness, feeling like it hit him a bit close to home when he was back in the USA. "It's okay to be quiet, everyone warms up to others at their own pace, just interact in your own way." He said to her, hoping that helped.

Zachary's expression soured a bit by the disillusion from what he knew about the cities in the Digital World. While it did spoil the 'magic' to this world's wonders , it wasn't unexpected. Zachary knew well that even the most glorious of places was not exempt from corruption or issues. As he grew older he even knew well-known theme parks had such issues. " Okay... had only planned here cause I thought it was safe and the best place to meet but now I have some misgivings. So much for that plan... and I might have seen a little from the arena that is here, but beyond that, nothing else. " Zachary admitted with a sigh, " Clearly the real world wasn't an easy option, either though. But thank you Cion." He replied with a smile to the little creature. He was tempted to pet her, but restrained himself. The girl Pickle, from Zachary knew, was clearly high on energy. He wondered if she was the type who enjoyed lots of coffee. But it was refreshing to know. A pleasant positive attitude was always appreciated, minus the little dip in the fountain. And the still laughing Gomamon nearby. Either way, no matter where they went it would be a problem in some capacity. By now, Zachary was fully dry and Panthermon's flames soon died down on his body. He was now a regular jungle cat, and still laid on the rim of the fountain leisurely as he listened to those around him. The cat was always on guard, and like Cion, he didn't drop it easily even among a city environment. He remained very attentive as Zachary conversed with his new friends. " Well, the furthest area I been was the snowy mountains to deal with the Demon Lord Belphemon-- or at least a part of a larger mission that took place. After that, I went to the Emperian Skies, to a place called the Elysium fields? Flying islands in the sky are just one of my favorite fantasy things so maybe next time we should go there. Trouble is, you need to have a Digimon who can fly at least. I was able to make Panthermon fly using this." Zachary explained as he reached into his pocket, and took out his D-Power/D-Ark Digivice with the purple coloring, and a Modify card with a set of wings made of light. Those who might not of known about the cards would be able to now as Zachary had learned about it from a friend, and fellow Digimon who made shop here in Terminus and other places. The meek sound of the tamer known as Ami did catch Zachary's attention, as did Panthermon by her equally unusual proactive cat partner. The jungle cat gave an approving growl of encouragement, amused by the cat's personality with what could only be considered a chuckle. Zachary smiled to the tamer, knowing she was feeling a bit shy. He could relate when he started out. " Hey, its okay," he said confidently to Ami, " There is no need to be shy. We are all friends here, and we are all in the same boat. It's why I thought it would be a great idea if we all could meet somewhere safe." It did raise a question to Zachary since Mikumon looked like an original digimon, could she have similar origins akin to Panthermon? Even as they talked, and got to know one another, it made Zachary feel safer despite the conditions where they met. It didn't matter if places had a shady side, so long as you were surrounded by decent people with common goals and interests. " Anyway... this world has many places to explore. But more importantly, we should try to get to know others like us, and always great to meet friendly Digimon like you Cion. " Zachary spoke up, also catching sight of Jojo's partner hidden in his bag. " I mean, even from my standards I feel a bit out of the loop as a tamer. Seems we all have stuff to learn. It's why I was very eager to meet you guys. I think if possible, we can try to keep in touch and even maybe explore through this world together. It be better than us just wandering through this world blind and alone. You know? No one wants to stay alone in either world... Its why I reached out." At that moment... something struck Zachary's mind. He became quiet for a moment, something that happened when an idea sparked in his head and grew into a major brainstorm. It was sudden, totally not expected for just a group of people who just met. And yet, as he talked, the need for such an idea should be voiced. Panthermon turned to Zachary, still calm but sensing the brainstorm in his partner's head. " Zachary? What's on your mind?" the cat voiced. Zachary bit his lip, now he the one shy to voice his idea to the new people he just met. " Well... It's a bit sudden and imposing. Maybe even a bit vain, but..." he took a breath as he looked to people he could easily call his new friends. " We are not alone in our feelings about this world. We are far from the only tamers out there, or others who have come into contact with Digimon and Vise Versa. I am willing to bet there are many others out there, just as lost or even more so. And its impossible for tamers or Digimon to be around in our world... but what if we made a place." He worried if he wasn't being clear... but he knew that each of them had their own experiences that others had. They had their own hardships keeping their Digimon or powers a secret in their world. But what if they could make something that would allow other Tamers to meet safely and get to know one another like they were now? " What if we made a place? Something that allowed Digimon and Humans to safely get to know one another? A place where people could learn about one another, about the Digital World and the human world. If we did... people like us wouldn't be so lost or alone. I know this sounds a bit crazy... but what if we tried?" Zachary suggested. Panthermon could sense the excitement that ran through his partner's mind. " Zachary, as noble and great as an idea that is... that is a monumental task to just pitch out there." the cat said. " You are talking about creating some sort of social group that connects two worlds. Do you have any idea how much time and energy that will take? Not to mention how a single band of ragtag people could accomplish," the cat said bluntly, clearly not one to mince words. " Even if we did make a form of group, how would we even spread the word out there? You're heart is in the right place, but its not something you can just do overnight, Zachary." Zachary turned to his partner, his expression resolved and serious. " I know. I know it would require a lot, and I am also well aware we cannot do it alone. But like I said, we are not the only ones!" Zachary said with confidence, " I know for a fact, there are Tamers out there willing to this, not to mention Digimon who probably would love the opportunity to learn more about our homeworld and meet other humans, maybe even partners of their own. I know it sounds crazy... but it could work. "
