Terabyte Mountain, the tallest, coldest, most treacherous peak in all of the Digital World. Such a harsh environment was no place for a small Rookie whose ability to fend for himself was essentially null. Did Ebi still venture there in order to get a super rare cooking ingredient that couldn’t be found anywhere else? You betcha!
It wasn’t that bad, though, since he was lucky enough to have found those floating seat things that took you straight to the top of the mountain. Unluckily, since this was his first time using a floaty seat thing to get up a mountain, he had neglected to put his safety harness on. As a result, the slightest winter breeze sent his basically weightless body flying off the lift and into the snowy forest below, screaming as he plummeted down. “WAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!”
In his streak of good luck followed by bad luck followed by good luck, his apron got caught by the protruding branch of a very tall tree, preventing him from falling to his death. Then again, he was unlucky to not have the first idea how to get down now. The young EbiBurgamon flailed his tiny arms and legs about, struggling to reach the back of his apron, but no cigar. He was left hanging on that one branch, utterly helpless, and soon the tears came. “Uwaaaaaaaaah!! I’m stuck here and I’m cold, heeeeeeeeelp!!”
Perhaps his loud wailing would bring some kind of hero to his rescue… or a hungry predator looking for a free snack. Gulp!

Silence had been told that her prior iteration spent a lot of time doing patrols. A massive amount actually considering that she found some old papers of patrol routes that she had intended to use but never got around to making them a reality. Some of them were dangerous and others were… Well. Others were a piece of cake. She decided that the best one for now was the terabyte mountain.
A massive thing that her prior self had only ever gone to a few times outside of when she used to live near it. The shutmon now found herself at the base of it, in the midst of the frozen forest that snugly crept up it’s side. She’d put her hands on her hips, staring up at the mountain as it challenged her.
Though before she could start her trek… she heard something scream. It made her pause and blink, it was that of panic and it was moving. Though once the screaming stopped she’d strain to hear where they could be… With nothing sounding she’d start heading towards where she figured it was from… Only to hear that voice again. Muffled as it be.
Maybe about five or so minutes later she’d appear to the sight of an Ebiburgamon. A mon that was stuck on branch of one of the many trees around here and judging by how the branches in a certain path was… He had fallen quite a ways. The shutmon sighed a bit and shook her head, kicking off of the ground so that she was level to the other’s face. It was a mon she had never seen before but... that didn't stop her from offering help.
”Hang on hang on I gotcha. Have a little fall?”
If allowed the shutmon would help the rookie down from the tree. How exactly? Well a hand of hers was probably big enough to engulf the lower half of the Ebiburgamon’s body if she wanted but she simply held it under them like a platform, adjusting it so that they would have support for their feet.
”Name's Silence, what's yours?”

EbiBurgamon’s worst fear had become a reality… he was gonna get eaten by wild wolves! Actual wolf-type Digimon, that was. Upon first laying his dot-shaped eyes on the Shutmon, he didn’t see a hero rushing to his rescue. He saw teeth, claws and those icy blue eyes that foretold that the end of his life was near. “Oh no! It’s WeregaruruFangGaogaShutmon! Eeeeeeeeekk!!!” Poor Ebi shrieked in fear, mixing all of the lupine Digimon names he knew together in his astonishment.
However, upon seeing that the Shutmon - who introduced herself as Silence - was offering to help him instead of trying to eat him, the young cook slowly but surely calmed down. “Uhm… H-hi, Miss Silence. I’m EbiBurgamon. Call me Ebi. I’m sorry for yelling…” He apologized after catching his breath.
The silver-furred wolf held her large paw open for him to use as a stepping platform. “I had a big fall, and now my apron’s stuck… Can you help me, pretty please?” The pink Burgamon variant asked, pointing behind him to the white straps of his apron that had gotten tangled on the tree branch, preventing him from moving, but also preventing him from falling down to his doom.

Honestly the shrieking from Ebi made the wolf digimon wince a bit, bringing a hand to rub at her ear. A weregaruruFangGaogaShutmon? That would have been quite an interesting mix of mons if not so… ludicrous. She couldn’t help but chuckle at it and shook her head. Young digimon were quite amusing sometimes weren’t they? Though with the other calming down a bit and introducing themselves? Well the shutmon grinned a bit and gave them a small nod.
”Pleasure to meet you Ebi. No worries bout that, I guess I’d be scared too if I saw me while stuck like this.”
The shutmon blinked and leaned to look that he was indeed stuck on the branch in such a way that made it hard to step off. With a small shrug the shutmon shifted her weight, kicking the air to stay aloft. One hand still being under the Burgamon variant while the other worked on helping those white straps get untangled from the tree branch.
”Shouldn’t be too hard. Where did you fall from anyways?”
Mild conversation while helping someone get unstuck from a tree… definitely not what the shutmon was expecting to happen while she was out and about. But would she argue or complain? No. She’d enjoy the fact she was able to have such a lax moment in what could of been quite a harrowing patrol!

Once Silence had carefully untied the white straps, the apron came off, exposing the EbiBurgamon to the harsh elements. The tiny burgeroid fell on the bigger Digimon’s palm with a light ‘pomf’ sound. “Oof. Thanks, Miss Silence… Wolf Digimon are scary, but you’re nice.” He said, reaching out to pat her snout with his small hand. Despite how scared he had reacted at first, it took him very little time to warm up to the wolf-woman.
Ebi shivered from the cold, wrapping his apron around him like a blanket. “Brrrr… I got on one of those flying seat thingies that take climbers to the top of the mountain. It was really exicting at first, but then a strong wind blew and I fell off. I actually have no idea where I am now, or even how to get back…” He said, sniffling loudly. Was he sad, or had he caught a cold thanks to the weather? Perhaps it was a little bit of both.
