Her D-Tector doesn't look any different than the others, except the rubber protections are mauve in color. Moreover, the other bits are made out of a white translucent material, and the electronics can be faintly seen through it.
Personality: Alejandra is rather insecure. She prefers to stick to the rules, play fair and be an all-around nice person. While it may seem that such approach to life would be rather mature, she actually never really grew up.
She usually feels alone in a world where everyone can easily "team up" with someone that's just the perfect match for them. In a way, she both wants that and doesn't at the same time; she takes for granted that her "match" would come, at some point, and present itself so obviously that all she has to do is just acknowledge them. Clearly she can't see the issue.
Other than that, she tends to not trust people right away or open up at all, with the result that she counts a lot of acquaintances without ever knowing anyone.
When she digivolves using a Spirit, her personality changes drastically: she becomes much more confident and stops playing fair, relying instead on cheap but effective methods to win fights. It is not entirely known if this is a side effect Iktomimon's influence over the Digivolution, or just Alejandra being a little drunk with power.

Alejandra is a short tanned girl with naturally dark hair. Her eyes are purple and vaguely almond-shaped, which is a hint to her genetics. She has full and slightly drooping lips.
She sports an undercut and frequently dyes her hair in her favourite colors, most notably violet and white; she usually complements those colors with matching lipstick or eye shadow.
For clothing, she usually wears casual clothes (like tank tops, tees and jeans), with some subtle nods to streetwear such as gloves and wristbands.

Personal History: born of a Peruvian woman and a French man, Alejandra grew up as a mixed kid in the city of Ica, Peru. Her parents divorced soon after she was born and her father left the country immediately afterwards.
Her mother's family is believed to descend from the Nazca people, an ancient indigenous civilization; aside from this fantastical story, Aleja was raised by the teachings of usual Peruvian culture. She lived the typical life of a girl in her environment, despite her borderline antisocial personality - which was evident already by the 8 years mark. The hardships of raising a child as a single mother took a toll on their relationship, with Aleja becoming more and more detached as time passed. For the largest part of her life Aleja only felt close with her grandmother.
At the age of 12 she moved to Shibuya, Japan with her mother and her grandparents, in search of a better quality of life; the abrupt change in lifestyle didn't sit well with Aleja, causing her to develop her introverted nature even further. She already had a strained relationship with her mother and the teenage years only made the situation worse.
At the age of 15, Aleja was gifted by her grandmother a few books about the mythical tales of the Nazca people, in particular the mysterious Nazca Lines; she has been fascinated by mythology and the depiction of animal deities ever since.

Appearance: Spindelmon has the appearance of a gigantic spider with a thick exoskeleton and a round head.
The exoskeleton is purple and shiny, to the point where it resembles some kind of painted metal armor under the sun. The head sports two pairs of chelicerae: the first is found on the sides of the head; the second is placed in the middle of the face. The chelicerae of the second pair are small and spherical, giving the impression of a cute face. The eyes are placed directly above the chelicerae and look like a dark strip painted on the head.
Six of Spindelmon's limbs are about 50cm in length and are formed by a short and thin segment attached to a stronger, club-shaped one. The remaining two limbs, the front ones, start with the same thin segment; however, to these are attached stingers about 30cm long.
The large abdomen is decorated with thin mauve lines in a pattern that resembles circuitry. The abdomen alone is 1m long and 0.75m wide, while the whole body is about 1.5m in length and width.

One might think she adops this strategy because she's incredibly smart and a strategic thinker, but none of that is true: this is just her trying not to go toe-to-toe because she's scared.

Her primary weapon is her web which, however, is not spun from an organ of her body; light is harnessed and weaved as if it were a set of strings. The resulting light condensate can be woven into a fairly resistant fabric or braided into a strong thread.
At the same time, Athenamon uses her agility to stay on the move, typically circling around her opponent and using the environment to her advantage. She is not stranger to ambushes and traps, and she is known to carefully plan her attacks.

With this ability she can generate a wide variety of objects, from braided ropes to drapes, by simply extracting them from an illuminated area; her constructs cannot protect from attacks or deal enough impact damage to be considered dangerous, but they have almost infinite resistance to traction and torsion.
