Another place she had never been.
Another group of people she never understood.
The angels of luminas had a certain stigma around them. Their virus hating past made it difficult for many to enjoy the comfort up here. But because of a recent coup they had changed, they had been trying to change. Thus was the letter that found its way to her that made all the sweeter.
They weren’t looking for enforcers. They weren’t looking for just any fighters, they were looking for people they could rely on in some sense. They had admitted that her past iteration’s track record with them was… something that was difficult to get by even in her next rebirth cycle. But they wished to make some kind of deal, some kind of work.
So the shutmon agreed, but she agreed only if she was allowed to explore. Which they didn’t seem to have a problem with. Would they let her and her Skotamon companion travel in their fields? Take in the sights?
They didn’t have a problem with it, so Silence did what she felt like. Told them she’d show up when she did, just that she was around. They didn’t exactly like the idea of a mon like her wandering around… but she told them she wouldn’t cause trouble. She’d only solve it. And solve it she did. Small disputes between youth caught here or there, gentle reassurance of older angels that couldn’t do much other than watch.
The vaccine type wolf was well received by those here too; perhaps the old stigma was correct in some places. But then again… maybe they were just tired of the hate. Tired of the past. They seemed to enjoy her, they seemed to enjoy her company. She sat with them, talked with them. Laughed with them. But when it came time for the angels to leave, she would stay where she was at.
Eventually making her way to the edge of the large fields in the sky. Dangling her legs over the endless expanse below her. The young skotamon with her was tired, she could feel them sleeping. She could feel the moon rising before she saw it. Maybe it was how the skies worked. But maybe it was just… something else. Some other connection she didn’t know of.
She kept to her namesake, watching the moon slowly ascend into the sky.
It was going to be a long night, but it was one she was okay spending with in the quiet of these fields. A long night of solitude, but if one were to approach her? Were to converse with this white furred armored shutmon… they’d find a steadfast companion, one with a heart of gold and a voice full of love.
