It was quite a sunny day wasn’t it?
The glaring sun and the gentle wind made for a strange sort of fishing experience. Normally she spent most of her time fishing out from the city but this time around she wanted to learn how it was here. Where the bustle could be felt in the air and the fish were a touch more sparce.
That and she was sporting a nice fishing rod thanks to her job not too long ago, rather than spend it on some lavish dwelling she felt it was needed to at least entertain the idea that the primary way she fed herself was through this fishing pole. A sturdy thing that was nearly six feet in height, meant for individuals with massive strength or attached to boats.
Thankfully her antylamon form had the strength needed for such a tool, though it seemed a bit odd using something so large within city limits as it could catch much bigger things than what would be around the docks…
But that wasn’t the point! The point of this was practice with a new fishing pole! In a place where she could get pointers from people that did it on the regular if any decided to talk to her. Though none did which was also fine with the massive rabbit. She’d blow out a small puff of air; take a seat and then cast out a line. She’d watch it sail and once the lure was bobbing on the water she’d slowly swing her feet to and fro…
Now all she had to do was wait; to others, she seemed almost like an immobile rock. Her soft eyes staring at the lure as it rode the gentle waves this close to shore...

While the massive Antylamon sat patiently waiting for the lure to bob, underwater something was about to happen. Initializing viability checks. Scanning. Memory erasure confirmed. Code 200. Initiating sequentialization measures. Code 201. Code 202. Code 308. Countermeasures initiated. Re-initializing sequentialization measures. Az-02-DS-0640 code 200. Governor materialized underwater, a short distance away from where the hook of the fishing rod was gently swaying about. The underwater current where he materialized was gentle, which was lucky as the SeaMimicmon was still dazed from the teleportation it had to undergo. It allowed him to reorient himself. While that was happening though, the ocean-blue blob that was Governor was still carried along by the gentle current, eventually catching himself on the Antylamon's fishing hook. While Governor was still recovering from the teleportation sickness, the current had caused Governor to pull on the Antylamon's fishing hook, notifying her that she had caught something.
If she was to look through the water, she could probably also make out a glow that was growing more and more radiant over time. It was various shades of blue, which from her viewpoint, would seem like it was pulsating, as at least some of the blue glow was masked by the water's blue.

A whole lot of nothing.
Perhaps it was the type of bait she was using? The antylamon sighed and shook her head, maybe the sort she was using simply was too large for the type of fish around here. She was almost ready to give up at this point and try something else. Get something smaller so that she could… What was that?
The antylamon raised her brow as she noted some sort of disturbance in the water, leaning slightly as she could barely make something out at first… Then following suit was a soft glow that was getting… well brighter? Various shades of blue made the water seem like it was pulsating but the tug on her hook let her know that she had got something. Some kind of fish? Or maybe a mon in distress she couldn’t hear? The antylamon huffed a little bit and slowly started to reel in whatever she had caught.
She didn’t want to hurt whatever it was if it was a mon; there was a strict no eating fish type mons rule in whitewater from what she could remember. Or perhaps that was just a rule in general? Then again when she really thought about it where had she even heard that? Probably near that strange building with all the bustling mons and ‘mission goers’ or maybe… near the fish store?
The antylamon shrugged her shoulders and if whatever was on the line wasn’t going to fight her, she’d bring it up to inspect her newest ‘catch’. It could be some equipment or a diver or… maybe just her imagination trying to play tricks on her? It was hard to really tell given this place and all it’s noises too...

As the Antylamon reeled Governor up, he began to fully regain consciousness. By the time he was fully aware of what was going on, he had been dragged out of the water. His vision clearing up and seeing the Antylamon with the fishing rod, his eyes then proceeded to be drawn upwards, finding it slightly had to focus on the line that was coming out of his body. What was... what was going on?
As an instinctual reaction, his body loosened itself even more, making him all that more amorphic than it already was. That allowed the hook to fully pull itself out of his body, potentially snapping back the rod a little bit. Rather than falling back into the water though, Governor's body remained hovering in the exact same spot. Governor turned his attention back towards the Antylamon, while his body began to change once again. His body began to stop rippling, like calming waves in the aftermath of an errant gust of wind on a silent day. At the same time, his radiance was slowly disappearing, until finally, Governor was just a small blue (almost perfectly spherical) orb with a face floating above the water.
Finally, Governor nodded at the Antylamon, the only other being he could see in the immediate vicinity. "Greetings." Yep. That was all Governor had to say for now. A certain aura of intensity radiated from Governor, not in a dangerous, malicious way. More so that Governor betrayed a high degree of seriousness in his tone and facial expressions.

The antylamon blinked slowly as she took in the creature that she had caught; it looked unlike anything she had ever seen before. But it also meant that it wasn’t a fish; not the sort of fish you catch and eat. Not the sort of thing you’d brag to your friends about… if she had any that she felt like she could brag about fishing to at least. She’d quirk a brow however when she noted that…
Well the hook was coming out and by the look of it, the creature was making it so that it was! After a moment or two the hook pulled out and the antylamon felt the rod snap back a bit. Without the weight of the other it wasn’t about to keep to the same arched fashion. She’d set the rod to the side and let out a small huff as she leaned to inspect the creature in front of her.
It was just a blob of data really, but it was various colors of blue and… well was that water that she was seeing coming out of it? This had to be a digimon of some sort? She’d blink slowly as the other nodded at her and she’d give a small one in return. Though then they spoke and she’d blink owlishly. With the greetings she’d give a small little wave and thump her chest with a hand. Making motions around her arm followed by a gentle thump to her chest before gesturing at the strange creature.
What was he? Was he okay?
Not everyone would know her type of body language or what her motions indicated and that was fine. She’d lean forward so she could get a better look at Governor. She had no real way of talking so she hoped that they were at least good at charades…
She also seemed to be relatively unaffected by the intensity that he was giving off, but maybe it was because she didn’t really know how to react to that or the sheer professionalism or seriousness that radiated from him.

Governor was confused at what the Antylamon was trying to say, though it seemed like if she was communicating via body language, that meant that she did not understand him? Or maybe she just did not hear him very well? But then, she would have asked him to repeat himself, right? Well, either way, let's come a bit closer.
The floating sphere that was Governor drifted towards the Antylamon, stopping approximately two meters away from the towering rabbit-like being. Compared to Governor, the Antylamon was a giant.
Scanning. Code 200. Compatibility high.
Unbeknownst to Governor, his proximity to the Antylamon had triggered his scanning of the Digimon. It was an invisible scan, and mostly passive. For most Digimon, that meant that they would not recognize that they were being scanned. Of course, there were always those who can detect it, for whatever reason - whether keen senses, their own passive scans, or some sort of errant coding either for the Digimon or in the environment.
Scanning for resequentialization. Compatible. Scanning for resequentialization L56 compatible.
Governor thought for a moment, trying to think of what to do. He would have attempted to respond by using his own body language, but... he mostly lacked any sort of appendage... or actually...
Scanning for resequentialization L3 incompatible. Compatibility 75%. Option. Resequentialization L3. Else option. Resequentialization L456. End option. Code 300.
Governor floated a bit closer to the Antylamon, before turning his entire body 90 degrees to look leftwards, revealing the entirety of his right side to the Antylamon. The surface of his body began to ripple again, as Governor tried to made letters appear on his right side, though unfortunately they ended up being mostly scribbles. Sighing internally, he decided to be less ambitious, and widened the ripples somewhat to finally form readable letters, which in turn formed words. Each time a word would appear, they would remain for about two seconds, before the pattern would shift to produce another word. They were cyclical, and eventually one would realize that they words would form a single question: CAN YOU READ THIS?
Governor would have used 'understand' instead of 'read', but there was just not enough space on his body. So there it is.

The antylamon frowned a little bit and rubbed at her neck; by the looks of it the strange sphere didn’t seem to understand what she was meaning by her motions. She couldn’t really blame them given the fact that they didn’t have arms of their own or were young enough that they didn’t get it. She didn’t feel the same sort of strength that she got from others when staring at this one. They felt weaker but that wasn’t bad per say. Just meant that they didn’t have much in the way of experience!
She of course wasn’t the most perceptive so the passive scanning that came with Governor being close to her didn’t even garner a response. She’d lean a little bit still trying to take in the other; though once he turned his body ninety degrees the antylamon’s head tilted to one side and her ears flopped about.
With the rippling effect that followed suit she’d quirk a brow. Noting that there was… strange ripples in the body of the creature? It was trying to communicate with her? She’d blink slowly as there were some letters that appeared on their body; she understood those bits and pieces but… it was nothing concrete! With each pattern that led to words she’d blink slowly, firmly and slowly did the other’s phrasing and linking of their words on one another got the rabbit’s full understanding.
It was a question, a very straightforward question one that she could easily answer. The large rabbit slowly nodded and looked down at her hand. She’d give them a ‘thumbs up’ signal; hoping that they at least understood that. She might have to stick to very simple motions and pray that they would be able to understand those!

It was not exactly to see, but from glancing across the corner of his eye, Governor could see the Antylamon's response. This, he understood, for whatever reason. Well, that and the nod.
Errant eligibility detected. Restructuring protocol. Override priority code 300. Override priority initialized.
While it may seem odd that Governor would understand some gestures but not others, really, there would be some more common protocols coded into him. After all, that was also why he could speak in English... or whatever this language was.
Back to the story. Realizing that the Antylamon could understand the message rippling on him, Governor was now trying to formulate the next move. Governor turned back to face the Antylamon, while his rippling faded away, returning his body back to a perfectly spherical shape.
"Can you hear what I say?"
Governor had thought about how best to ask such a question. What if the Antylamon really could not hear him, i.e. that she was deaf, rather than just mute? Then speaking again would be a bit rude. However, it was just not Governor's personality to think too much about this. Might as well try first, and if needed, apologize later.

The antylamon blinked a little bit as the other seemed to process what she had done, perhaps it understood her simpler motions? The rabbit rubbed at her chin and felt her brow raising slightly as the other returned to their normal shape; with that message vanishing so did her thumbs up gesture. Then of course he spoke; causing the rabbit to perk up a bit.
She’d nod her head and put a hand to her ear; even going so far as to mouth like she was talking but… No words came out from them. She definitely seemed to be a mute but it didn’t bother her all too much. She’d lean forward and place her hands on her legs, eyeing the creature up and down. She’d make a motion towards them and then cupped her hands together before gesturing to herself.
She was trying to ask what he was; or who he was. But she wasn’t really sure how exactly to do that and she seemed a touch frustrated with it. She’d reach out and offer a hand to the other. If they wanted to stop floating it was certainly sizable enough for the In training to sit on her hand without fear of rolling or falling off.
She had never seen a mon of this level before either, it was always rookies at the very least so suffice to say she was very… surprised about all of this. Her ears were flopping either which way as she tried to understand what she was looking at. If she had to guess it was something from the Deep saver’s family but…
Weren’t they normally fish and not like… blobs?

Governor watched as the Antylamon nodded, and then motioned to her ears, signalling that she can indeed hear him. Ah, that meant that earlier when Governor spoke, she might just have not heard him clearly then.
Actually no - it was more likely that she did hear him fully well, just that her response was, well, exactly how she would respond to a greeting.
In that case...
Code 202. Code 200 override priority successful. Eligibility protocol initialized.
Governor watched as the Antylamon looked him up and down, before going through a series of motions that, combined with the initial gestures, finally clicked with Governor. She was just asking about him!
Of course, that makes sense. Well now. It makes sense now, in light of everything.
"Apologies, it was rude of me not to introduce myself. I am Governor, a SeaMimicmon. How about you. What's your-" Governor stopped himself, thinking about exactly what he was really asking of the Antylamon. He was going to rephrase it. "Are you able to write? I was just going to ask what your name was. Perhaps if you could write it out, it might be easier. Apologies, I am not too well-versed with gesture languages."

The antylamon tilted her head slightly, with the other not taking her offer to sit on her hand she’d withdraw it. Though she didn’t really blame them, here was this big rabbit that had caught them with a fishing pole. So of course they’d be a little wary right? The antylamon blinked a bit as the other got what she had been motioning. A SeaMimicmon named Governor? Certainly an interesting name… Though she wasn’t one to talk considering that she didn’t have a name.
She’d flick her ears at him almost asking her what her name was, she’d slowly shake her head and then make a shrugging motion. She simply didn’t have one and that was okay; how was she supposed to tell others that she had one? Or what it was if she did?
Then he asked her if she could write, she'd make a so so sort of motion. Sure she knew how to write but she struggled with it. That and she didn't seem to have any paper on her at the moment but... The antylamon slowly stood up, motioning to deeper into the city. If the other wanted they could try to find somewhere where she could write and they could converse.
If he wanted to at least, they would be able to find something quickly. It wasn't hard to find paper in a city after all. Heck they were close enough to the shopping district that the antylamon was able to procure a blank journal and a pencil large enough to where she wouldn't struggle with the writing tool. If he hadn't come with her she would of headed right back to the same spot that she left him. Though if he did come with her she'd make sure to stow her fishing pole on her back.
She'd take a seat on one of the many benches; flip to the first page and with a slown n agonizing pace write something down before turning the book to Governor.
I don't have a name. People call me by the form I'm in. Keramon. Antylamon. This is Antylamon. What were you doing in the water?

The Antylamon shook her head and shrugged first when asked about her name, and then a second motion when asked if she could write. So she did not have a name? Governor was definitely curious as to why. Even if he was not programmed with the same innate curiosity as some of the other generation 2 variant Mimicmons, this was still something that elicited the response in him. After all, it seemed abnormal for him for someone to not have a name.
Eligibility code 200. Protocol check code 200. Resequentialization code 201 202.
Governor followed the Antylamon after being motioned to do so. He was not one to let curiosity get the better of him, nor was he not being vigilant. Fact is, so far she does not seem to pose a threat, and at this point in time Governor felt like he could trust her enough to at least follow her.
As he followed her into the city, they would walk past quite a few different types of Digimon. Some had came within scanning distance of Governor, yet this time around, none of them were scanned, at least not innately without Governor's knowledge like when the scanning of the Antylamon happened.
Soon enough, they found a store where the Antylamon would purchase a blank journal and a pretty massive pencil from. While that was happening though, Governor had been waiting outside, hovering the ground as per usual, watching Digimon go by. There were just so many here, of so many different varieties! It was amazing to someone like him, who had no prior knowledge that this world existed. That almost caused Governor to think about his past and why he was here, but something instead caused him to turn around and focus back on the Antylamon. A moment later, she came out of the store, and together, the two Digimon found a bench where the Antylamon sat down, while Governor hovered above the bench, next to her. He was looking down at the journal that the Antylamon had procured, and had now opened up to the first page. Slowly - very, very slowly - the Antylamon was writing out her message. It took a bit of time, but finally she was done. Without really needing to show the book to Governor, he had already been able to read the entire message, given how long it took to be written. Nonetheless, he appreciated the gesture.
So, that's that then. "Hi Antylamon then. It is a pleasure to have met you."
Upon being asked about what he was doing, Governor's eyes drew downwards, as he tried to remember what was the reason for his being there. But no matter how hard he tried to remember, he just could not. Governor looked up and back at Antylamon, before shaking his head. "I... I am not sure, actually. I do not know why I was in the water, nor can I remember anything from before that, it seems."

Why didn’t she have a name?
That was a question that the antylamon really didn’t have an answer for, she had never really thought of one for herself. Or had one given to her by any parental figure. She had lacked a parental figure or someone that was willing to give her one. She wasn’t that creative and felt anything she’d pick was… Well… Wouldn’t be very creative. The most creative one that she had come up with was sunspot but that didn’t feel right.
So she deigned to remain nameless, a face in the crowd to watch people go by. A person to fish and a person that could be relied on in a sunny like fashion. She seemed comfortable with this prospect and even with that in mind she also seemed to be okay with strange names like Governor of all things! She smiled warmly as he greeted her by ‘name’ and even was pleasant about it!
At her own question though Governor didn’t seem to have an answer. She’d blink a bit and tilt her head. He didn’t know why he was in the water nor could he remember anything from before? That was strange to her but… It was common in younger mon right? The antylamon gave a small huff before slowly writing something else down. Her big hands made this a little difficult, so of course there were a few letters that she mucked up on but the messages at least got across...
Well I’m glad I caught you then. Who knows what would've happened otherwise! I came down there to try to catch some fish for lunch but I instead caught you. Are you hungry?
The antylamon held up her journal again, giving a small smile. She didn’t have a lot in the way of money but she was fairly certain that if the other was hungry she could buy them lunch or something. That or just go catch a fish elsewhere that they could eat. She knew that with this bigger body she had to eat more so… She’d perk up a bit and write down something else before holding it up to Governor.
Can I call you Gov?

Governor nodded, in response to Antylamon. "Sure thing, I do not mind being called Gov. It does... sound more endearing, I would say. And yes, food sounds nice. I am not familiar with this city, so you will have to lead." Governor responded. He was not too hungry, but well, he could do with food. Plus, he had a feeling that it would be nice to continue following Antylamon around. For some reason, he found her to be really intriguing.
Where will Antylamon take Governor? To go fishing, or to buy something? Governor would not mind either way.

The antylamon perked up a bit; it would be easier to write out Gov rather than Governor all the time too so she was rather pleased with the shortened nickname for the other. At the fact that he was up for getting some food the large rabbit mulled over what exactly she could feed this mon without it feeling strange. Fish was out of the question so maybe… Well fish ate other fish right?
There were a lot of options and the rabbit knew of a few stalls nearby that sold some good fried fish. She wasn’t super picky when it came to food but she had to admit she had a bit of a thing for seafood. She’d write once again and hold it up to the little blob that was the Governor.
Just follow me then!
The antylamon would close the journal and stow it along with the pen in a small travel bag before standing up. She rubbed at her chin and considered for a brief moment which one to take him to before heading down the street; the SeaMimicmon in tow. She’d eventually bring him to a Takoyaki stand that was busy with a few customers so the two of them had to wait.
The antylamon rolled on the balls of her feet; looking somewhat excited to share such a thing with the newfound ‘friend’ of sorts. Though once they got to the front of the line the vendor (a somewhat cheerful looking etemon with a ‘kiss the cook’ apron) had to take a few moments to cook up some more of the nice snack.
The antylamon would purchase a small bundle of them, about twelve or so single Takoyaki balls. Thankfully they each would get six of them and the antylamon would take a seat nearby. Her ears had perked up and she’d set the container down next to her so that Governor could enjoy some too!
