An unusual harmonic resonance hung in the air. Normally, this place would look like a wonderful relic of some forgotten past. A small part of the Mainframe hills that was somewhat secluded from the rest, where the mountains were a little taller, and the server forest was not visible from any hilltop around here. The hills were split between grassy and rocky, with occasional bushes on them. Everything seemed coated in a hue of orange, as if there was some kind of filter applied to every inch of reality. Looking closer, it seemed almost to be a gritty, hexagonal pattern. A natural distorted weather effect, accompanied with somewhat distorted music softly humming in the rocks and rustling in the bushes, as if the world itself was playing music. This effect was not harmful to digimon, but that did not make it so the current environment was any friendlier. There was simply no interest in this forlorn place, as empty as anything could be. There was nothing to find except the occasional digital weather conditions and useless buildings which long since have fallen out of use. A Trailmon traversed the digital world in an unusual pace, safely transporting large groups of digimon at speeds and with ease that other digimon could not easily achieve. It was the best way for many digimon to travel, especially those of weaker forms. Even if they wouldn’t be quick to admit it, not exposing themselves to the open and remaining in groups was a helpful strategy for remaining unnoticed and unbothered. Bero didn’t like to include himself into these groups, but he was nigh-forced too. Yet to reach the power of his next form, he looked onto others in great envy. Many in the trailmon were weaker than him. Simple civilian which may never reach a champion stage in their life. But champion wasn’t impossible for civilians, and there were a few champions here that may even be civilians. While this bothered Bero, it wasn’t too hard for him to keep his behaviour to himself while on the trailmon. After all, those same champions whose existence irritated him, were the digimon that would boot him off of this trailmon if he’d make a fuss. The blackgabumon had only paid for the cheapest ticket possible, naturally, as he did not care for frivolous things and luxury. The plastic coded seat was supposed to be uncomfortable against his back and legs, but with his pelt in the way and being used to getting into fights, nothing quite felt uncomfortable to him. He didn’t enjoy sitting still on such long rides. Sitting still and letting time pass wasn’t much in his nature. He wasn’t overly energetic, but he was used to actively working to achieve a desired result. He got off his chair, despising the feeling of sitting and waiting. He decided to try and move to another part of the cabin or something, just stretch the legs as one does on a long trip. However, it seems karma always caught up to him. The train warned the passengers for a slight possible turbulence as it passed over to the weather condition. The slippery, floaty ground wasn’t the ideal situation for Trailmon’s wheels, but it knew well how to bypass most of the issue. The repelling effect of the ground still would mess up the Trailmon’s stability somewhat though. Just a bit of turbulence, in effect. Bero wasn’t quite near anything to hold onto though, so he had his cloak light in a thin layer of flame before extending to a nearby iron pole in the trailmon. Much to everyone’s surprise and bero’s annoyance, that would elicit a scream from a nearby lalamon holding onto the same pole, who felt attacked by the burning claw closing in on her. Bero instantly caught multiple glares from nearby digimon for setting his cape aflame, although it was merely a requirement for him stretching it out. “Y-you’re attacking me!”“Oh calm your malware-ridden motherboard, plant. The fire is harmless.” His behaviour got only more annoyed glares from nearby passengers, including a irritated Deltamon. A bit smaller than most dinosaur champion digimon, he nonetheless approached Bero. “I Highly doubt your fire is harmless, you mangy jerk.” “yeah! Any fire burns things, and fire doesn’t belong in this train.”“For a champion, you have no grasp on how digital code works, do you, you three headed misaligned proc-” Bero couldn’t finish his sentence before multiple mechanisms went into effect simultaneously. He wasn’t sure what was happening, but he could feel a strong deal of kinetic force as his body was pushed by something rather large, moving rather quick. He didn’t have the time to perceive it was boot-shaped, but it was boot shaped. He found himself flying out of the Trailmon, the vehicle digimon’s chassis rushing by at astonishing speed as he was suddenly suspended still in the air, watching it zip by as gravity slowly grabbed hold of him. He fell towards the greenery below him, a diagonal bit of hillside sharply inclined downwards. As his body neared the leaves and twigs of a bush, the orange hexagonal pattern hummed softly as it tried to repel the Digimon falling upon it. Alas, the force of gravity was stronger, for now, colliding Bero into the bush and halfway past the orange field surrounding everything. He wouldn’t remain in the bush though, as the orange field repelled him and sent him flying horizontally over the ground, the ground below him once more becoming further away before he fell again, this time only managing to adjust his body a little bit. As the orange firewall field tried to repulse him again, it suspended his body an inch or two from the diagonal ground, causing Bero to start sliding downwards as if on a very slippery slope. He slid uncontrollably for a bit before he managed to control the direction of his body more, his eyes finally peeking at how much further he was going to have to slide down this surface. The answer was not much more, as he collided with a bush which once more, trampolined him upwards due to the repulsing effect, and made him flail in the air a bit before landing on flat ground. He was right by an abandoned building, which seemed to be an overgrown vacation home. The rushing of a Trailmon still overtook his senses, but that only lasted for two more seconds before it became softer and lower pitched, the train’s movements leading it far away from Bero’s current position, now that he has been successfully booted from a moving train, left alone in an abandoned, useless part of the mainframe hills. With the sound of the train vanishing, the small sounds of the orange field covering everything, the thin layer of pure energy that pushed Bero upwards and made him float just over the ground. It hummed constantly with bero standing on it, and to accompany the hum, his presence caused a few small, audible glitches which created various sounds that harmonized together like a strange song with no real beat, an alternative music that rung in the ears, overpowering the deathly silence of the middle of nowhere hillside.
Lost Hills Two lost souls meet in a location lost to time. How poetic. Takes place before the first few Demon Lords plot missions. Not related to them.
He looked out to the empty hillside, the large, white building with orange roof tiles and green plants with outdated cabling and archaic data stream technology slowly overtaking the building, all covered in the strange, thin orange layer which continued making it’s ‘music.’ “Oh, Sukamon.”

Kitt wasn't the type of that showed a lot of vigor; he's a very timid Digimon who usually never the first one to start a fight. He preferred to stay out of the spotlight, and will often hide behind his best friend Eris when dealing with others. But with how rambunctious and strong-minded the Black Gigimon was, he often found it difficult to remain in his little bubble of comfort for very long, as he sometimes had to make sure she didn't get too carried away.
But right now, he's in high spirits. Why? Because he had just complete his first mission that didn't benefited him, but to others. It was a pretty straightforward objective: he had to escort a human named Kaya alongside a Hawkmon that was accompanying her named Hawkeye, to Terminus City so that she could board a Trailmon that can take her to the human world after mysteriously appearing in the Digital World.
At first, Kitt was immediately wary of the par; wary due to Kaya being the first human he'd ever encountered and not knowing what her kind was capable of, and wary of Hawkeye due to him coming off apathetic and a bit mean to the him. But after two days of getting to know them, protecting them from a deranged Mienumon that attempted to turn them into lifeless puppets for her collection, and lots of dinning, he started to see them as friends, despite the two's relationship being a bit bizarre to him. After reaching the metropolitan capital of the Digital World and saying his goodbyes as they departed, it was time for him to make it back home to Eris...or so he thought.
Instead of his Digi-port sending him back to Luminas City, the device instead sent him back to where his mission with Kaya and Hawkeye started: Mainframe Hills.
The hooded Spadamon blinked confusingly. "I'm...back here again?" He recognized the series of rolling hills that spread across the countryside, overlooking several springs and waterfalls. But something was different about this place. Whereas Mainframe Hills was usually coated with green blades of grass that went on and on without end, they now took on a hue of orange. In fact, ever the sky had a orange hue to it. Inspecting the ground, the grass was sporting a weird hexagonal pattern in addition. Did he happened to just appear in an unexplored section of the hills, or was some type of weather phenomenon was going on? Despite this, Kitt couldn't imagine a prettier setting. He thought of it as his reward for a job well done for his successful mission.
He walked in easy silence, making good time in the bizarre weather and the easy and gentle terrain. The environment around him hummed what he could make up as distorted music through that was being carried by the spares trees and bush shrubs. He'd assumed that this area of the Digital World was sparse as far he was concern. Kitt had seen a few flock of birds, and fish in the ponds he had walked past, but as far as Digimon went, there was nobody in sight.
Eventually the grass became more thickly covered with flowers of different shades of orange, until Kitt practically stumbled into a pair of Trailmon tracks. "So civilization do traverse through this place, albeit sparsely," he said to himself. "I guess that's enough sight-seeing for one day. It's time to get back home before Eris starts to get really worried."
Taking out the device that allowed him to open Digi-ports back to Luminas City, he clicked on the button once, and again, and again, and again. It took multiple clicks until the Spadamon realized that his Digi-port device was out of juice.
Kitt then sighed. "Now I gotta wait until it charges back up."
Seeing there was no reason to just stand around here, he decided to explore some more, eventually coming across an area where walls created by natural erosion were covered with blooms and ivy; leaves from the tress practically hid the place from view.
Kitt stopped inside, passing through some of the hanging branches that had created something of a curtain hiding this area from anyone and everyone not looking for it, a sense of camouflage and protection. He looked around, alert, taking in his surroundings, observing for any possible danger, and sensing for it. He them stopped a few paces as he took in the scene.
He appeared to have come across a large, white building, surrounded by vegetation and a swarm of orange. It looked abandoned from the looks of it. It had an eerie, yet somewhat pleasant feeling, no thanks to the muffled music that was still playing Whatever this place was, it look like it belonged to a wealthy Digimon, judging how it still looked fairly polished despite being forgotten. With a curious gaze, Kitt secured the blue hood on his head and walked out of the small tunnel he was in and decided to investigate the strange building.
Though he wished that Eris, Ophelia, Cassie, Dio and Gio were here. He wondered what their reaction would be to this strange place.

Bero was at the least surprised to run into such a place. No doubt others had seen beauty in it, no doubt others had found marvel in the strangeness of the scenery. Perhaps, in admitted that others would see, was his own way of admitting it himself? What a useless thought. Bero’s mind didn’t stay with the art and wonders of the world around him. The interest he had in the subject was only enough for a few seconds. What created this place? Why did they leave it? After musing on different possibilities, he deduced that the simplest explanation is that there was no more need for it, no more desire for it.
This place was likely not created by strength anyway. Then what of the strange effect resting in the area? A thin grid of orange hexagons, just a small ways away from the entire ground. Even walking became a different activity, as the wall wasn’t physical, but yet pushed you back. It was like walking on Jello, except you were walking on a thin layer of air pushing you up. Wondering what the effects were, Bero wandered closer to the dilapidated building. Perhaps the source of this effect would be found there. He approached from a Cliffside taller than the building, allowing him to jump onto one of the balconies with a “hup” that came out of him rather naturally.
Rather than just land on the balcony’s floor though, as the air pushed him up a little, his feet slipped forward instead of staying still, causing him to fall backwards. He was quick to react though, his cloak lighting aflame and his claws outstretching to grab some vines and the railing of the balcony. The moment his cloak caught fire and his fiery claws collided with the orange hex grid, it glowed red, sputtered and sparked as if the code was failing and broke apart for a second. As the weak orange grid broke, it created a notable thrumming sound . Effectively, he used the extra grip of his claws to do a full backflip and land on his feet and one of his hands instead of slipping. Once he had landed, he allowed his cloak to simmer down to not being on fire. The thrumming sound slowly faded.
It turns out that the orange layer was destructible, and Bero’s flaming claws had damaged it. The orange layer was quick to re-establish itself, the orange hexagons reforming over the spots they were broken, and the sound of strange music returning to Bero’s ears as the only sound. Bero’s position was given away, guess he should be careful about jumping and stuff, since the ground was both bouncy and ‘slippery’. He wasn’t entirely surprised, but still annoyed he tripped like that.
He looked around and clambered onto the Balcony’s railing, careful to ensure he could stand on it. What strange architecture. Copied from the human world, from what limited knowledge he accidentally got from the human world. On Top of the railing, he was on a spot that overlooked an empty terrace and a dried-out basin that used to be an outdoor swimming pool. He looked over the terrace, before noticing another Digimon just came outside from under a balcony on Bero’s Left.
As Kitt walked out of the tunnel, he could see the whole place, but the only dirt path lead down to the side of the building, a pleasant little hallway with pillars on the side. Halfway through the hallway, a disruptive sound, a notable thrum came out from in front of him. The loud sound came from an open area. At the end of the hallway was the light of the shining sun, as he stepped out onto a large empty terrace, comparable to that of a resort, with worn beach chairs and an empty swimming pool. The full “ruins of a family resort” package. The loud sound had only lasted a short moment, but if he perchance, ran the last part of the hallway, he’d be able to spot that it came from a balcony slightly ahead and a bit to his right. And on top of that balcony, stood a blackgabumon that had already spotted him, and had the glowering flame of irritation and excitement in his eyes.

Kitt's feet landed with soft, rhythmic thuds as he followed the dirt path. The sun was high overhead, the rays spreading out as it hits the ground, likely the effect caused by the strange phenomenon going on. Notching a nearby bush, he looked in awe as it started to shimmer the same hexagonal pattern effect that he saw earlier. Curious, he put his hand over it. As he did, the hexagonal effect on the bush erupted in a pulsing ripple-like effect, making the Spadamon jump in surprise, before returning to the same rigged pattern as it was before, as it was not disturbed.
Kitt could feel it, the energy engaging, almost like a heartbeat, thumping softly at the back at his mind with excitement. He could feel it underneath him as well, under dirt path and the soil trees nearby. The energy around was almost like if it were alive in a sense, reacting to whatever presence that disturbed it. He couldn't help but feel a shiver up his spine. It was beautiful, yet mysterious. Whatever happened to this place, he had to tell Eris about it. Knowing her, she'd probably had this place analyzed in no time.
As he inched closer to the house, leading to a narrow hallway surrounded by pillars, he suddenly heard a loud noise, his ears twitching in response. Does someone lived here after all? If so, Kitt saw no harm in investigating to see if someone was there. Maybe they know the mystery of this place and why the data here felt more "alive" then anywhere else.
Reaching to the end of the hallway was a empty terrace with chairs spread out, some laying sideways on the ground. In the middle was a swimming pool, long drained of any water. Kitt stood at the edge, analyzing it for a few seconds before looking up. The sudden appearance of the Black Gabumon made Kitt jump back a few paces, startling him.
"M-My apologies if I was trespassing, mister!" Kitt said, bowing his head down. "I was only just looking around. I didn't mean to--"
Before he could finish his explanation, he lifted his head up, getting a good look at the Black Gabumon. He was sporting black cloak along with an antagonistic gaze that seemed almost venomous. Then it clicked. "It's you..." he muttered. This was the Black Gabumon named Bero that was bullying a pair of Digimon when he was out with Ophelia on Valentine's Day at Rosewood.
A wave of nervousness rushed through him like a Trailmon. From their exchange before, he knew that Bero radiated chaotic energy, something that was ready to go off at any given notice. Of all the places, this was the last place he thought that he would encounter him in. Kitt's fur stood on end, either through the static in the area or through fear he wasn't entirely sure.
"Soo...you stumbled to this place as well?" Kitt nervously asked, his voice slightly shaking. He hoped that this time, they could start off non-antagonistic.

“You could put it that way, Spadamon.” He had not cared to remember the runt’s name. Last fight wasn’t in Bero’s favor. Whatnot with the public attention on him. Bero’s stare was cold, calculated. His resentment was all the evident in the very way he spat his words and stared down Kitt. To Kitt’s attempt at peace, Bero let his opinion be known by slowly letting his cloak catch fire. The small orange grid layer hovering over everything sputtered and buzzed as the fire touched it.
Bero inspected his claws for a moment and let the fires of his cloak slowly increase. He wasn’t sure if he was going to do the first attack outright here. Maybe he’ll let the Spadamon harp on about justice and what the right thing to do is, as Spadamons did. His attempt at starting it off non-antagonistically was mostly ignored by Bero. “I hope the fear in your voice means you’re ready to fight like a cornered kitty. A little cowardly cat whelp like you would need every emotional subroutine bypassed into fight or flight feedback response to form any kind of interesting challenge.”

This wasn't good. Judging by Bero's tone, his posture, his cold calculating glare, and the way the flames on his fur cloak kindled light, he wasn't looking for any peaceful talk; he was looking fight; a rematch from last time. Even though Kitt said he was up for one the next time they meet, he didn't feel like this was appropriate or the time. They both were in an unknown part of Mainframe Hills, with a mysterious digital energy surrounding the entire area. They should focus on investigating what this place is instead of some pesky squabble. Yes, that's what he should say to him... if he could find the words to.
He really wanted to, but there was something dark about the Black Gabumon, something horrible. He could sense it even back then. If Eris or Ophelia were here, it'd be different. But he alone -- alone with a psycho Digimon. It was like he relish making other Digimon bend to his will from even just looking at him funny.
He felt the black embers of the flames from below and was suddenly accosted by a memory -- Lord Dio's lesson. His brows furrowed, his feet firmly place on the concrete. Whatever what Bero was going to throw at him, he was ready.
And then, he froze at what Bero said. That word...it was that word again. Whelp. It started to repeat in his head like it was on record, again, and again, and again. A hot crimson rage started to fill his heart as he immanently extended his hand, making his Blue Queen materialize. His once dilated eyes were now slits starting straight at the Black Gabumon that was on the ledge.
"WHELP?!" Kitt yelled. "Just who in the hell are you calling a whelp?! My name is Kitt! Forget trying to be nice to you, I'm shoving your head into the pavement and make sure you stay there!" He then planted his double-bladed sword onto the ground and twisted the handle, the combustible engine roaring to life.
Combat Log: Kitt activated Exceed!
[RAM Upgrade] Exceed - By twisting the grip of his weapon as if revving a motorcycle engine , Kitt can cause it to spray a flammable liquid over both blades, increasing the range and inflicting damage of its attack. It can up to three fuel phials in total, so this amp-up state is limited. Depending on the ability, each attack consumes one fuel phial at a time.If all three fuel phials are expended, the engine blade will overheat, and he'll have to wait awhile until he can use this ability again. Cooldown: three posts.

The way Kitt looked at him. The way he needed time to muster ‘courage’ and will to fight. It all bored Bero so terribly much. Irritated him. It was Digimon like these who got to be a champion despite all his efforts to get there himself. Digimon like these who would hold him back if they were stronger than him. To think that these kinds of fools had likely already made it to beyond a champion. It irritated him to no end. But now, he had just thrown across some choice words, and Kitt simply exploded with desire to fight. Bero grinned. “Oh no, an enraged idiot. What will I ever do? How about I show you what fighting really is.”His eyes focused on the combustible engine for a moment. As the sword stabbed through the orange hex-grid layer, it sputtered and glitched out, buzzing softly, just like the hex grid below Bero himself. The fire on Bero’s cloak went into a fever pitch, as Bero’s entire body was coated in a deep blue fire, as if he challenged Kitt’s combustible engine. “This time… no one to hold me back. No town to accidentally set aflame. No onlookers to piss off.”
A Brawl is surely brewing! Burning Black & Blue VERSUS Blazing Blue & Bright!
Bero was filled with various feelings, but all of them were suppressed with one thing. An urge to fight, and an urge to do it right. Bero laid out a mental plan on how to adjust to the slippery and bouncy terrain to his advantage. And to start it all off, his plan started with carefully bouncing off the railing he was standing on, falling towards the ground floor. Bero uses Accelerant Ignition to buff himself. Bero jumps off of the railing, now falling to the ground floor, but Kitt has time to react. Bero prepares to perform a secret plan the moment he hits the floor. Stacks used = 0 Stacks gained normally = 5 [Combat Start] New total Stacks of “Basics Mastery” = 5 Passives: Superior Technique[RAM upgrade GIGA] Combat Passive - Bero’s incredible technique lets him improvise his attacks and abilities, using his natural weapons and traits of his body’s code to great effectiveness. Bero starts each combat with 5 stacks of ‘Basics Mastery’ and every round he is in combat he gains 2 more stacks. He can hold a maximum of 15 stacks. Using 5 stacks allows him to empower one basic attack to deal damage equal to a named attack with a 1-turn cooldown. This attack counts as Bero’s named attack (or one of his named attacks, incase he’s 1 vs twins) for the post it is used. Other passives may give him more stacks of ‘Basics Mastery’ or methods to use it.
Flame Coat Combat Passive - Naturally capable of lighting his entire coat aflame, Bero makes sure to always fight with this fire backing him up. As long as this passive is in effect, Bero’s coat is covered in hot blue flames, and he can control the claws on his coat freely as if they were two extra sets of limbs. He can stretch out these limbs like rubber, using them to increase the reach of his basic attacks, and allow him to interact with objects or digimon from a distance. The elastic nature of his cloak allows him to attack up to 5 meters away, or about 5x the expected distance the limbs could reach. These limbs are strong enough for him to pull himself up by them or push himself off the ground using them. Due to being constantly aflame, they increase the damage of his basic attacks using these arms by 10%. While the hot flames of his coat are dangerous, they do not actually deal significant damage when merely touched. Active moves: Accelerant Ignition Buff - Stoking the fires of his cape with raw energy, Bero covers himself with raging fire which allows him to move about 30% faster and makes touching his cape quite harmful, to the point of enemies dealing minor damage to oneself upon striking Bero with a melee attack. This buff lasts 3 posts and has a cooldown of 5 posts.
Cooldowns: Accelerant Ignition: Just used! 0/3 posts duration passed.Cooldown not started.

He didn’t understand. Out of every Digimon he had ever encountered, Bero was the second Digimon that he didn’t understand—the first being his caretaker and the way he would mentally abuse him. Kitt fully understood that Bero was still bitter about their last fight, but ultimately, he was the one who started it. If he wasn’t such a big bully to those Digimon he threatened on that night, he wouldn’t have been embarrassed; they probably wouldn’t have ever met. But none of that matters now. His pasifiitc and kindhearted nature had all been replaced with unyielding rage. Bero wanted a fight? Fine. He’ll give him a fight to remember. Watching the fiery BlackGabumon jump off the railing of the balcony, he was preparing to make the first move. If Kitt was still level-headed, he would have allowed him to make the first move in order to gauge his strength since that was how he usually fights, when he ever does. But no. That Kitt checked out the moment he called him a whelp. Readying his Blue Queen, he jumped up into the air, seemingly ready to unleash a flurry of barrages onto Bero. However this was all a ruse. De-materializing his doubled-bladed swords, he opened his arms, grabbed Bero. He grunted in pain by the searing flames from his cloak, but it didn't stop him either way. The two were send crashing into the ground floor window of the house, causing glass to scatter everywhere on the floor. Letting his grip on Bero go, Kitt crashed into a wall, but quickly picked himself back up. Summoning his Blue Queen again, he charged at the BlackGaubmon, his blade shining blue with flames to boot, and aimed to slice at him. Combat Log:
Kitt intercepted Bero's descent to the ground and grabbed him, taking minor damage from his Flame Cloak. The two then crashed into window of the mysterious house.
Picking himself back, Kitt charges at Bero, attaking him with an Exceed-Powered Blue Brave.
Blue Brave - Slices the opponent cleanly with the dual blade shining blue. If Exceed is activated, the blade will be coated in blue flames, further increasing his damage. No cooldown if used regularly. Cooldown: one post with Exceed. Depletes one fuel phial with Exceed.

Kitt already had jumped to strike Bero before the cocky blackgabumon had even made contact with the ground, Bero prepared to grab kit to punish him for his attempt at an attack, but was caught off-guard by the feint. A grin came on his face as he was grabbed and forced to fly along with Kitt. He had underestimated Kitt, not that he wouldn’t be doing his best. He had to prepare himself for impact first and foremost, waiting for an opportunity, the properties of the orange defense grid zooming through his mind. As they impacted the glass window, the defense grid tried to push them back, but it failed against Kitt’s sheer force, buzzing red and glitching out as a hole in the grid was created, causing the two to break through the glass, bits of glass code and orange hex grid code surrounding them as shards, accompanying their fall. Kitt let go of Bero, heading towards the wall himself. Bero saw his chance, pushing himself off of Kitt. He landed on the ground, but purposefully controlled his cloak and flames to not contact the ground. That way, the ground bended with him, and like a trampoline, Bero used the strange hex grid to launch himself to the wall: Directly towards Kitt and Kitt’s attack, with daring momentum. Kitt had done a great aerial interruption, even feinting Bero to catch him off guard and being unable to prevent Kitt from dragging the two into the enclosed space. Now Bero wanted to do one too “My turn.”With strategy, glee and anger, Bero’s horn collected blue flames. Kitt’s Blue Queen was covered in blue flames, ready to strike at Bero, But a new blue fire, darker than Kitt’s and tinged with Bero’s malice, surrounded Bero in a powerful orb of flame, pushing away Kitt’s fire, Kitt’s sword, and Kitt himself. Because Bero had trampoline-jumped towards Kitt’s direction, even with the orb of blue fire surrounding him, he was still moving towards Kitt, threatening to pin Kitt against the wall. The defensive orb of blue fire pushed against Kitt! Kitt’s feint & grapple is a success, and they crash through the window. Bero lets go of Kitt and pushes himself to the ground. Bero uses the Environment’s strange nature to trampoline jump towards Kitt. Bero blocks Kitt’s Blue Brave with his Azure Zenith. Bero uses his jumping momentum to try and push Kitt to the wall while Azure Zenith’s fire surrounds him! Active moves: Azure Zenith Defense - A small gout of flame rises from Bero’s horn before quickly creating a thin wall of flame all around Bero to protect him with, this defends him against rookie level attacks and reduces damage of champion level attacks by 50%, and also damages opponents who use melee attacks for minor damage. This ability blocks for a duration of 1 turn. This ability has a cooldown of 4 posts.
Accelerant Ignition Buff - Stoking the fires of his cape with raw energy, Bero covers himself with raging fire which allows him to move about 30% faster and makes touching his cape quite harmful, to the point of enemies dealing minor damage to oneself upon striking Bero with a melee attack. This buff lasts 3 posts and has a cooldown of 5 posts.
Cooldowns: Accelerant Ignition: Used last turn. 1/3 posts duration passed.Cooldown not started. Azure Zenith: Used this turn. 0/4 posts cooldown passed.

Kitt knew he was in trouble the moment that Bero conjured a shield of blue flames around him, negating his attack and knocking him back. His golden eyes widen with shock as he realized that the Digimon was using his forward momentum along with the flame shield to pin him against the wall. Unlike him, Bero could ignite and manipulate flames at will thanks to his burning pelt. He'd almost forgot about that. Remembering from their last encounter, Kitt could tell those flames would hurt him it they connected. It doesn't matter if his plan was an offensive or defensive maneuver, fire was still fire. Seeing as though he had very little reaction time to dodge the oncoming charge, Kitt placed Blue Queen in front of him like a makeshift shield, both hands tightly gripping the hilt, hoping to reduce the impact and to try and stop Bero from pinning him against the wall. The two would collide, dragging across the floor. As they came closer to the wall, Kitt would plant his foot slightly horizontal to the wall, not wanting the BlackGabumon. The embers of the dark blue flames would hiss and pop at him, making him wince. He let out a snarl in response, gazing at his adversary with such anger. He didn't understand all of this; he didn't understand why all this was happening, but one thing was clear: he hated the way Bero was. He was borderline feral, solving everything with violence. This wasn't the way to live, not even for a Digimon. The Blue Queen began to radiate with energy, light coming from the hilt, spreading to the ends of both blades. He twisted the hilt, the combustible engine roaring to life. "GET OFF OF ME!" He released a fiery X-shaped wave at Bero at point-blank range, aiming to push the Digimon off of him, away from his flames, away from his venomous gaze, as well as to try and land a hit on him. Combat Log:
Kitt uses his Blue Queen to reduce the impact of Bero's Azure Zenith-powered charge, coming within two inches from being pinned against the wall, taking minor damage from Bero's flames that were hissing at him.
Kitt fires an Exceed-powered Aurora Blazer towards Bero to deal damage as well as get him off of him.[RAM Upgrade] Exceed - By twisting the grip of his weapon as if revving a motorcycle engine , Kitt can cause it to spray a flammable liquid over both blades, increasing the range and inflicting damage of its attack. It can up to five fuel phials in total, so this amp-up state is limited. Depending on the ability, each attack consumes one fuel phial at a time.If all five fuel phials are expended, the engine blade will overheat, and he'll have to wait awhile until he can use this ability again. Cooldown: three posts. Aurora Blazer - Kitt draws Blue Quen back and slashes, releasing a blazing wave towards the enemy. If Exceed is activated, the wave will become more larger with a large blast radius, leaving a blue flaming trail in the aftermath. Cooldown is one without exceed. Two with Exceed. Depletes one fuel phial with Exceed.Passive:Feline Senses - Kitt has an acute sense of vision and hearing. Outside of combat, he is able to see in dim light and can hear a wide range of sounds that humans are unable to hear. In combat, he can still fight effectively even if either of those senses were compromised.

“Now you’re fighting!” Bero reacted in glee to Kitt snarling and wincing at the flames, feeling the heat. Bero would’ve straight up chokeslammed him and just brought more and more fire to the fight had Kitt not used his weapon as a makeshift shield to keep Bero at arm’s length. A good decision, because Bero isn’t comfortable to fight at any range, but the closer, the more fiery things got. “If you got this in your skillset…”Bero was considering Kitt more relevant as a digital being by the passing second of the fight. Then the blue orb of fire created by Bero’s Azure Zenith had faded away, Kitt was quick to push back and try to get Bero entirely away from the fight. Bero accepted the attack, letting Aurora Blazer strike him and knock him away. But not without his own little gambit. “I’m ready to see where you’re going to go!” As the blue fire burned away at Bero’s torso, Bero controlled one of his cloak arms, the sneaky, lower one, to stretch to Kitt and try to grab his Leg. Bero was trying to use Kitt’s knock back against Kitt, by trying to grab Kitt by the leg, sending a burning sensation through Kitt’s body and leaving a mark on Kitt’s defences, but also Pulling Kitt as he was launched away. Bero’s idea was, if Kitt launched Bero away, but Bero grabbed and threw Kitt with that speed of the launch added, Kitt would be flying even further than he. Bero indeed tried to yank Kitt away and throw him outside, as Bero himself also slid outside, being dragged by the burning X of a projectile pushing against his chest. It wasn’t a very aggressive throw, but the landing would hurt. It would hurt, if it weren’t for the strange conditions. Kitt wasn’t looking to land on hard pavement after all. Rather, Kitt would be landing on the weird technological slippery trampoline, meaning he’d just slide outside a long distance if he didn’t stop himself from moving, maybe bounce depending on how he landed. Kitt’s Aurora Blazer strikes Bero head on! Bero lets Aurora Blazer knock him back and damage him. Bero extends one of his claws to try and grab Kitt. He tries to apply Burning Brand with his claw, but also tries to grab Kitt to throw Kitt outside, combining the knock back he’s receiving with his own force to throw Kitt with extra force. Stacks used = 0 Stacks gained normally = 2 New total Stacks of “Basics Mastery” = 9 Passives: Superior Technique[RAM upgrade GIGA] Combat Passive - Bero’s incredible technique lets him improvise his attacks and abilities, using his natural weapons and traits of his body’s code to great effectiveness.
Active moves: Burning Brand [RAM upgrade] Debuff - Bero extends one of his claws, and attempts to touch his enemy. Upon touching the enemy, Blue flames quickly rush over them, while not damaging them directly. Marks of the attack appear over their body as a brand, lasting up to 3 posts and making them more vulnerable to any fire damage Bero deals. This has a 3 post cooldown.

If he wasn't consumed by rage, Kitt would have reacted to Bero's semi compliment with a smirk. But the kind-hearted, sentimental, gentle, and shy Spadamon who'd expressed gratitude with those he meet was gone for the moment. The digimon that Bero was facing was a digimon filled with rage with the intend to pummel anything that moves.
As Bero's Azure Zenith faded away, the blazing Aurora Blazer would strike true and knock the BlackGabumon right in the torso. However what Kitt wasn't expecting was him grabbing him by the leg with one of his cloak arms. There was nothing Kitt could do as the two of them were sent crashing out of the mysterious house, the Aurora Blazer paving the way.
Outside again, Kitt was thrown with extra force into the hard pavement. He cover his face with his arms, expecting to land head-first. But that inevitability didn't come for fruition. Instead, he suddenly bounce up. He opened his eyes in a bewildered manner, confused. Falling down, he was bounce up again. A trampoline? It didn't look like anything he'd ever seen.
With one last bounce, Kitt fell into a nearby bush, letting go of his Blue Queen, and lading on some pointy edges that caused some minor pain and discomfort. Digging himself out, slightly discombobulated, a sharp, burning sensation would slowly spread throughout his entire body, making Kitt yelp and fall on one knee; and it was coming from his leg.
Picking up Blue Queen, he would plant one half of the lade into the ground, using it as a support to pick himself back up. Once he regained his footing, he would formally assume his battle pose, awaiting Bero's next move, bearing his teeth.
Combat Log:
Kitt gets affected by Burining Brand, while getting thrown outside in addition. Instead of face-planting on the hard pavement, he was saved by a slippery trampoline, landing in a nearby bush.

As Kitt flew off, Bero was worse for wear, but he knew the most important part of the fight was giving it all and not letting your reflex codes receive any backlog or detriment from the damage. To win a fight was to bear through the worst of the pain and attack at full force when everyone was on their last legs. Seeing that Kitt was launched too far away to react instantly and close the distance, Bero made his way over to Kitt instead. He used the slippery trampoline to bounce, making a series of three jumps. First a normal jump, then a higher jump, and then the third jump was the highest and furthest, having Bero making a few frontal flips to transfer his center of gravity better. A deep blue fire surrounded him as he flew in the air, and he landed a few yards away from Kitt, a puff of blue fire billowing out from the spot he landed. He slid forwards a bit from the slipperiness that the repulsing orange field created, but before the field could launch him upwards for another jump, he broke the orange field using the blue fire of his cape, the orange hexagons fizzing and glitching under the damage of the fire. Bero grinned and let blue roiling fire seep off of his cape, creating a wave of blue fire from each side. It traveled behind Kitt while constantly raising higher, creating a circular wall of blue fire, surrounding Bero & Kitt in a small arena. While normally, the strange forcefield made everything Orange, Bero’s large walls of blue fire made that completely vanish. A sweltering heat pervaded the air and an almost malicious blue shine came from every direction now. The slippery trampoline-layer on the ground vanished inside of the area, glitching up completely and dissipating from the damage. The ground had a tint of blue, but Bero, who stood before Kitt, Could only be seen as a black silhouette against the shee wall of blue fire behind him. Even the gleam of his eyes or his grin couldn’t be seen against this stark contrast. Just the silhouette of black gabumon against the blue raging fire behind him. Bero blatantly references Nintendo content while getting close to Kitt, landing in front of him. Bero uses Petit Arena to create an arena of fire surrounding him and Kitt. Petit Arena destroys the orange hex-grid effect within the arena. Accelerant Ignition duration has ended (subtly). Petit Arena Utility/Attack - Erupting flames from his coat, Bero has the flames trail across the ground to circle him and an opponent within 5 meters of him. These flames form a high wall of fire, creating a small arena of Fire which is difficult to escape. This attack cannot automatically connect or damage Bero’s opponent upon activation. Touching the fires makes anyone except Bero take minor damage, forcing them self through the fires to escape the arena (or someone else forcing themselves into the arena) deals severe damage. The Arena lasts for 2 posts, and has a 6 post cooldown.

Kitt watched as Bero approached him, taking a step back as the Black Gabumon landed a few yards away from him. Seeing the blue flames disperse from his cape, Kitt could do nothing as the flames quickly build up, creating a wall of flame that encircled the two digimon into a fiery arena, trapping them.
Kitt began to pant, putting his sleeve over his mouth. The heat was so intense that the the strange orange field that surrounded them began to disintegrate, the data showering around them until it fluttered into nothingness. On top of that, it was hard to breath. He didn't know that his opponent had an ability like this under his arsenal. The Spadamon readied his stance even more, trying to see how to escape from this ring of fire.
Focusing his gaze back at Bero, he could only see a black, menacing silhouette in front of the blue inferno, beckoning him to come. Kitt's stance wavered, his arms and legs began to tremble as he anger subsided and fear became to grip him; he was terrified.
Feeling cornered and overwhelmed, Kitt began to take a few steps back from Bero, almost breaking off to a backwards sprint, wanting to get as far away from him as he can before the intensity of the flames pushed him back, reminding him that there was no way out. With fear now taking a hold, Kitt dropped his fighting stance entirely, with tears forming in his eyes.
'Eris, Ophelia, anyone, help me!' he thought.
Then, he remembered his training session with Dio and Gio, and the words Dio imparted onto him: "You can't expect to hide behind someone stronger for the rest of your life. Living in fear is no way of living."
"Sometimes fighting is not only for the best way out of a bad spot; it's you're only way out. And I know you have potential, Kitt. I can sense strength within you."
Kitt's panicked breathing stopped. That's right...how could he forgot that wisdom his master told him? He was about to let his fears take control again. And yeah, he might be alone physically, but he knew that his friends were with his spiritually, cheering him on. Gripping his Blue Queen once more, he closed his eyes, inhaling slowly through his sleeve, before turning to face that Black Gabumon.
"You wanna fight fire with fire? Fine. You're gonna be sorry!" He declared. Readying his Blue Queen once more, with blue flames surrounding both blades again, Kitt charged at Bero, spinning around to amply the flames even more, aiming to deal a nasty blow to the Black Gabumon!
Combat Log:
Kitt attacks Bero with an Exceed powered Blue Streak, declaring to not back down from his opponent.
Blue Streak - Unleashes a full spin equivalent to the number of fuel phials Kitt has saved up while still pushing forward towards the enemy. Each spin becoming more 7% more stronger than the last. Can only be use if Exceed is activated. Cooldown: Two post. Fuel phial depletion depends on how many phials he decides to use. (Kitt spins two times, increasing the damage output by 7% with the second spin).
[RAM Upgrade] Exceed - By twisting the grip as if revving a motorcycle engine , Kitt can cause it to spray a flammable liquid over the blade, increasing the range and inflicting damage of its attack. It can up to five fuel phials in total, so this amp-up state is limited. Exceed: Two fuel phial consumed; two fuel phials remain.
