SECOND ARC.
CHAPTER I: WINTER DAYS
Episode 2: Missing people in Shibuya!? A mysterious dimension and the evil triumvirate!
"As you might have heard in the news, your classmate Sabrina went missing three nights ago. The police are on the case and we will inform you as soon as we know anything about her. If you can provide any data that might be useful for the detectives please come to my office during the afternoon."The words of Mr. Nakamura, her homeroom teacher, kept echoing inside of Katherine's head while she walked through the streets of Shibuya. Next to her, Jazz sauntered in her holosuit, just like Arianna wore her own magical disguise. Although they were usually a bit more talkative than right now, this time the trio seemed to have used their walk to the park to think about the events that had developed during that morning and the last few days. In all honesty, there's wasn't much Katherine could ponder about the whole deal with Sabrina. She had probably spoken to the American girl (and many of her classmates, for that matter) less than 10 times. They had been short-lived conversations, like the time they cleaned the classroom together and she asked her where had Katherine bought that mechanical pencil or the time she dropped her books by the entrance and the green-eyed helped her pick them up. But... could any of those interactions help the raven-haired tamer find this missing girl? Probably not. Instead, the only clue they had was that televised report where they mentioned she usually went to Miyashita Park after school. That same report also mentioned the last time she was seen had been leaving the school building at 4 PM. Whether she had disappeared before or after getting to the park, it was completely unknown. Much like anything else in this case. Then... why did Katherine feel she had to help somehow? Well... Jazz, whose voice was bringing her back to earth probably had a similar question. "Kath..." The Lopmon, who remained holosuited into a brunette with a white sweater and jeans, addressed her tamer once again. "Y-Yes?" "You nonoroku feel a digimon is involved in all of this, don't you?" It was Arianna, a Fairymon disguised as a purple-haired teenager wearing a pink blouse and a skirt and one of Katherine's best friends, who finished the bunny's thought. "I'm... not sure." Maybe it had to do with the fact a digimon had tried to kidnap Miyu not long ago. Or maybe she just thought it was too weird a girl around her age just disappeared out of nowhere while dangerous digimon had been roaming the Human World as of late. Maybe it was the fact that she felt this was not an isolated case, although she lacked the information to confirm that. A combination of all of these facts was probably the answer behind this instinct and Undying Curiosity the perfect motive to go after it. "Let's just check the park to see if we can find something. If we don't, I promise we'll let it go for now."
After going by Paul's restaurant ( It seemed to be closed. With the situation about the Dark Army having calmed down, the Veedramon seemed to be adjusting his schedule a lot more to be with his friends in the Digital World.), the three ladies went across the avenue and entered the park while keeping their eyes open for anything that could raise their attention. After around an hour of aimless walking, the three stopped at a bench. Taking a bottle of water out of her backpack and handing it to Katherine, Arianna looked around a bit more. "I'm starting to feel... something." She admitted. "Y-You are?" It should probably be mentioned they had been relying on the Fairymon to sense anything of interest around the park. Since Arianna was able to feel the presence of digimon, she was their most valuable weapon, in case a digimon had anything to do with this. So far, she hadn't felt a thing. At least until those words were issued. "It's not nonoroku aggressive. Definitely not as strong as when we've found enemies. This might be... one or two rookies. Maybe three." She revealed, trying to find out where this signal was coming from. Were they about to bump into someone who was just as interested as them in this whole missing person case? Since it had been broadcasted on television... maybe it had attracted some other tamers?

While going out and exploring the Digital World was always an exciting prospect for a tamer like Kenny and his adorable sheep Digimon partner, Skadi, at the end of the day, he still had a life to live, and a way to make ends meet. Sometimes, it was much better to relax back in the real world, and not have to worry about a possibly dangerous monster or two breathing down his neck for once in his life.
But as of now, a rumour mill was spreading all across Shibuya about the mysterious disappearance of a missing American student around Miyashita park, AKA where the worst of the Golden Week attacks hit. The image of the crater itself had permanently burned itself into the tamer’s mind. And considering Aidan and Kieran managed to end up in the Digital World because of this incident alone… could this be caused by Digimon who managed to sneak their way into the real world thanks to the leftover energy still lingering around?
As per requirement, Kenny had Skadi safely tucked away inside his D-Nexus as he wandered around the restored park. Sure KIZNA and DATS were pretty much on mutual ground at this point in time, especially after the talk on the private train, but he knew nothing of Agent Maria outside of third parties, unlike Machine and Tiger. It was best they play it safe, lest she show up and assume the worst about them.
As he walked through the park, he noticed 3 people sitting on the bench and chatting with one another. And their conversation hinted that at least one of them knew a thing or two about Digimon. Quickly, he waved a hand to them, crying "Hey, you guys!"
Whenever that managed to grab their attention or not, he would then approach them, keeping a cool and calm demeanour about the whole affair, "Do you happen to know anything about that girl who went missing recently? Because you seem to know quite a bit about... certain things." Yeah, probably not the best introduction in the world, but he was still working on that little slight, all things considered.
Just what was going on, anyways?

New clothes, a bit of a jinx, and probably a bit of cosmetic changes... Koharu is ready! ...or is she really? Either way, today, the plan was to dress as good as she could... there was a rumor about a missing student. Part of her wishes that it was not related to Digimon and just some criminal stuff... but at the same time, Digimon and Criminal Stuff, there's no telling which one is worse!
At any rate, Koharu dressed trendily, and was sitting on one of the bench, just overall relaxing... Yes, act natural, act... completely disinterested like she got nothing to do... Karin would probably slaps her senseless for trying this sort of action though, especially when she doesn't even know who this "Sabrina" is... some foreigner senpai? Come to think of it, but there sure are quite number of foreigners in Shibuya, huh. But there has been enough 'missing people' to alert her...
"...There hasn't been any suspicious people?" Koharu muttered out of sudden after waiting for five minutes.
"Duh, of course. Police still patrolling the area because of this missing people incident. You think some pervo would risk it and kidnap you or what?"
"To be honest, it's best like that. Plus if we hang out too long, there might be someone that gonna tell us to go home. Maybe it's best to ask around or something?"
The first voice belongs to Kon-chan, Koharu's trusty Commandramon partner. The second one is her brother Warg, a Black Guilmon X. They're here to protect her obviously.
"Hmmm, but now where to even ask?"
"Hold on, is that Kenny?"
Kon-chan was right. She never really talked with the older boy, probably just traded pleasantries here and there, but their differing scope of major rarely make them talk more than just simple chat at times. Koharu often busy with city's development and building her own inn, so she's not quite... "there" so to say.
"Hmmm and that girl... was that a senpai from school?" Probably? Either way, Koharu approached them all.
"Hi! Sorry for the sudden approach, but I felt that you sensed us anyway..." Koharu pulled out her D-Nexus. "Do you happen to come here because of the news too? Considering what happened over here back in golden week..."

The trio exchanging ideas in the middle of Miyashita Park was more than aware than Arianna’s words wouldn’t mean anything for someone who was completely unrelated to digimon. However, they seemed to have missed the fact that they would probably mean a lot for someone who was.
Having their view blocked by Arianna’s body, Katherine and Jazz didn’t really see Kenny approaching. The fairy in disguise, who was a lot more focused on trying to quite place the source from this digital energy she was feeling, didn’t actually notice he was so close!
“Eek!” Upon being addressed from behind, the purple-haired lady bounced a bit in the same place, startled. “H-Hi there.” She greeted the human, who seemed to be getting closer now.
“Hi.” Katherine smiled back at this boy, waving a hand back, while Jazz went through similar motions, only a lot slower and looking quite pensive. While the human questioned them about the girl (something that had already piqued the student’s interest) Arianna roamed behind him, trying to properly feel the source of this energy.
Why could he possibly mean with ‘certain things’? Did she look like someone who knew anything at all? The green-eyed decided to not mind that part of the speech too much yet and give a proper and honest answer. Not before being a bit shied out, something usual when she was addressed by new people. “I... n-not really.” She admitted. “She and I are classmates, so I have kind of talked to her a couple of times.” It didn’t make much sense to deny she was there looking for Sabrina, right? What was more, why else would she be in the park with such a tense environment surrounding the place? “Though I don’t think she has ever mentioned anything that can help me know where she might be. I just felt like… coming here to see what I could find.”
This whole speech, of course, would give her room to posit an obvious question. “What about you? Did you know her?” Maybe he could prove to be a lot more useful than Katherine herself right now. With this, the human stood up from her seat and offered a short bow. “My name is Jasso Katherine, by the way. And she’s Jasmine. Nice to meet you.”
“Please call me Jazz.” The holosuited Lopmon gave a quick shook of her head, neglecting her human name as most of the times. “And she is…” When Katherine raised her gaze to introduce Arianna, she noted the girl had changed the course of her roaming back to the bench the conversation was happening around. The fairy seemed to have properly tracked the source of the Digital energy she was feeling and…!
“Right here.” Her arms folded, the purple-haired girl looked at Kenny.
“…Arianna.” Katherine muttered, blinking rapidly while looking at the two of them. “W-What are you saying?” She asked.
“There’s no denying it, this person…”
It was then when a girl appeared, interrupting their conversation. She seemed like a student and was quite interested in the group too. She felt that they sensed them? It was then when Katherine remembered the first guy’s words. Something about them knowing ‘certain things’. Could it be… these people have tracked their group just like Arianna was trying to track them?
Suddenly, the human who had just approached them pulled out her own kind of unique device. Having seen her own share of digivices, it didn’t take long for Katherine to notice this was not a regular cellphone or any other kind of human electronic device. No point in hiding anything from these two, right? They seemed to be more than prepared for this encounter, and more than aware of the situation developing.
“As I was telling…” Katherine would wait for the first human to fill that blank with his name, in case he hadn’t introduced himself yet. “… I’m a classmate of Sabrina, the missing girl. Other than that… I don’t know a lot more.” Sooner or later, Katherine would introduce herself to this girl too, just like she had done with the male earlier. She was eager to learn who these people were!
“Do you think a past event might be related to this? P-Please, tell us everything you know.” Jazz asked. Could they get information so easily?
Apparently, Arianna was about to break the ice once again.
“Right here, too!” She squealed, her eyes drifting towards the girl who had approached them not long ago. “I can feel digital energy coming from both of these people!” She concluded, pointing at both KIZNA members with a discrete index finger.
Well… it was possible everyone here would have to come clean about their individual secrets before they could collaborate to solve this case together. But things weren't looking bad so far!

When it came to social behaviour, while Kenny was a nice and polite young man, his actual skills in that front weren't exactly anything to write home about. Who could blame the girl for being a little scared of a stranger just popping up from out of nowhere? Thankfully, the other two weren't as frightened of him, and even the main lady (introducing herself and one of her friends as Katherine Jasso and Jazz, respectively) was all too willing to help them.
Unfortunately, all they knew about the missing classmate was that they were just that, classmates. Still, it was a start, they could work with it from there, "Ah yeah, I forgot to introduce myself. Name's Kenny. Kenny O'Hara." He smiled at them. Those 3 ladies looked very nice, but as Kath went to introduce the third girl, she just so happened to cry out, making Kenny jump a little in surprise.
Kenny let out a little "Wha-?" as his eyes glanced towards the girl in confusion, as she was about to reveal... something. Then Koharu had to show up. Immediately, he went to straighten himself up, and gave another smile to her, "Oh, hey Koharu. Fancy seeing you here today." He greeted her. While still one of the higher ups of KIZNA, Kenny did desire to hang out with her sometimes outside of duty. Perhaps it just boiled down to coincidence.
Anyways, with Koharu asking the girls about what they knew too, the mention of Golden Week rang plenty of alarm bells in Kenny's head. Even after all this time, and all the sources and evidence of what happened in Miyashita park that day (including the people actually there letting slip some details, and the giant pothole casually laying there for a few weeks afterwards), neither he nor Skadi were able to piece absolutely everything together.
"Well, basically-" Kenny was quickly cut off by the purple hair girl pointing fingers at him and Koharu, catching him a little off guard. 'Digital energy'? What did she mean by- oooooh. It had to be coming from them, right? Seemed that they were dealing with a fair few holosuited Digimon with them; Digimon were naturals at detecting digital energy after all. But just who, anyways?
"Alright, you caught us." Kenny jokingly raised his hands in the air like a person under arrest, "There's no beating around the bush, we're one of them. My partner's just tucked away safely for now, she told me she needed to catch up on her beauty sleep, or at least that's what she told me." It was pretty clear his choice in words were pretty much there so no average John Smith or Jane Doe would be raising any eyebrows should they overhear, "But yeah, basically last year, Golden Week was pretty nuts. I'm sure my friend Koharu here can fill you out on the details on what happened here specifically."
Yeah... that was a bit of a funny story...

Digital Energy? "Oh you must mean some sort of Digital Scent huh. Digital Signature it's called. I actually found you two simply from the... you know, tendency for Digivices to beep when they're near other chosen. I had them active you see... Just to see whether this is a kidnapping issue or there's something more... Digital about it, if you catch my drift," Koharu answered.
"Sup, name's Koharu~ Nakano Koharu. It's fine to call me with my first name, not fond of formalities anyway! Ahem... Anyway, fancy to see you here too Ken-ken~" sounds like Cassie's nickname spreads to the rest of the team or something? "Anyway, past event? Well, you see, I have no idea if you guys know it from Tamernet or not, or if there are any sort of information of what happened there but basically..."
Koharu wondered if she should be telling this out loud, but well... She looked around and make sure no one is hearing before sitting near rest. "You see, there was a Digimon parade. Apparently it coincides with Golden Week last year. They said it was some sort of a.... peaceful protest of what DATS is doing, as in to shoo off Digimon from Real World. According to the intel the policy was supposed to be much more strict than what we saw in the field, but it's seem agents carried out their order peacefully... no violence or whatsoever.
Anyway, a bit off topic there. Of course not all Digimon understand that, and considering that in New Year last year there was a friction with Digimon. They came from Luminas, and apparently people from Luminas said even for a radical, their view is very... harsh. Needless to say, there was a fight going on, and well... the collateral damage is significant. With that in mind they decided that probably they should show that Digimon is not all hostile individual anyway, so they made several parades, playing with kids and such...
....Well, that too was bombed by radicals. Result was mixed. In entertainment district, fight nearly broke but thankfully doesn't happen. No collateral damage. Hachiko Square damage was limited to a crater or sort I heard, and meanwhile here in the Miyashita Park... The damage was very significant. I wasn't around when this happened, but our organization kept report or sort around, so I could catch up and such. Ken-ken here might knows more considering he was there on the field.
That's all we know to be honest," he ended her narrative with a shrug.

While they probably didn’t have time to listen to all of the details about this DATS or their mission, it was evident Katherine and her group had missed out on a lot while being in the Digital World dealing with their own problems. Although it wasn’t a good idea to get too involved in this right now, her curiosity didn’t allow her to just let this be. Eventually, she would want to know everything about these incidents.
Right now, however… They had someone to find.
“So… you were right.” Katherine admitted, blinking twice and looking at Arianna.
“O-Of course I was. I'm never wrong about that stuff.” Almost offended, the fairy looked at the tamer before glancing at Koharu. “R-Right. You could say it… kind of works like that.” She nodded. Although this feeling was a consequence of her powers, which went a long way further than just detecting digimon, that was an excellent way of summarizing it. “So that’s how you found us…” The purple-haired girl mused, looking at Koharu’s own digivice now. It looked quite different from Katherine’s!
Without losing any time, Katherine went ahead to introduce herself and her girls to Koharu, in case it was necessary. It turned out she already met Kenny, which made things a lot easier. How had they met each other, though...?
“I wonder if any of this is related to Sabrina’s disappearance…” Arianna wondered aloud after hearing Koharu’s input. “Considering it already brought us all here, then it’s possible it does. Yet, still… we’re not getting any signal from inside the park. Maybe we need to conduct some type of more… traditional investigation?” Jazz added. That made an awful lot of sense, actually.
Her arms folded, Katherine glanced at her partner before she looked at the rest of the group. “Jazz might be right. We could try just... gathering clues around. Just like we ‘sensed’ each other just now, if a digimon is involved in any of this, they might sense us while we do that, right? Maybe they’re too shy to show themselves if we’re in such a big group and, considering the park is big enough, maybe we can cover more ground if we split into groups of three and move in different directions?”
“Sounds good to me.” Arianna remarked while Katherine glanced at a map of the park, located to their right in some sort of big sign. “... I don’t… know this park too well. Just like most of Shibuya.” The green-eyed admitted. “So… can you please highlight the three most important places in the park?” She asked Koharu and Kenny. Whether it was a bridge, a square, a certain stand or fountain, that would work. They just needed to cover some ground. "O-Of course... only if this plan sounds good to you two. If you have any other idea, we can go with that, too." She added with an apologetic smile. Being a reliable tamer didn't mean being bossy, right?
“There’s also just five of us, right now. I feel it would be better if none of us went by themselves. Splitting into three groups of two sounds better. Y-You know… just in case.” Jazz noted. That was also true. Hmm… Could Koharu or Kenny have a digimon they could take out right now so they could split properly? That would be great.
Okay! So, once that was settled, they just had to pick the three locations of the park they were examining and split, right? By this moment, everyone was probably thinking the same thing. A rule that was kind of implicit in all of this detective game: ´
Once they started investigating, they should probably be discrete. Don’t want the police to think they're interfering with their job or anything, right?

Ken-ken... God, that nickname put quite the smile on Kenny's face. It just sounded so wholesome (not surprising, considering it came from Cassie, of all people). He blushed and chuckled a little upon hearing Koharu calling him that nickname for the first time; it felt like he was a true member of a family of the Digital World's largest organisation.
But anyways, with Koharu explaining the basic gist of what happened with Scramble Crossing and Golden Week, it was about time for Kenny to toss in his own two cents, "Well, I was in the Entertainment District, and Koharu's right, nothing drastic there happened. At worst, the perpetrator just came in and threatened everybody there. But all of us there managed to pull off a peaceful protest and deter both the attackers and the DATS agents from fighting." That light reprimand from Valt about overpraising Cassie certainly did change his and Skadi's tone a little.
So what they needed to do was a basic investigation and gather clues on Sabrina's disappearance. Taking a glance at the map on the sign upon Katherine's question, Kenny put a finger to his chin in thought, "Well, if I do remember correctly, there's that rock climbing area, and... uh... a skateboarding area, and... sorry, I don't really frequent this place much. I kinda drew a blank there."
He smiled at Jazz as she suggested her idea, "Yeah, that could work. At least we might be able to cover much more ground in much quicker time. Hell, at worst, my partner can hit Perfect, as far as I know, so you're in good hands here. Think we could stick with at least one holosuited Digimon per group, just to avoid arousing too much suspicion? Just throwing it out there."
Despite having a holosuit on her, it was much more safer for Skadi to remain inside the D-Nexus, at least for now, Kenny figured. He'd be helping out in the investigation any way he could, depending on whoever he joined, but for now, it would be much more safer for Skadi to be safely tucked away until push came to shove.

"My theory is they're getting dragged somewhere, but that's usually happened when you're near an electronic devices," Koharu suggested. "Do you know how people generally pulled to Digital World? The normal one usually happened when they trying to catch a train but somehow for one reason or another, mysteriously caught a different train. This only happened once, because for subsequent uses, they generally must end up in the underground platform by themselves, willingly.
Another generally happened because they were dared to enter portal on the Shibuya River... Well, you know how that goes! But either way... there are cases of people being absorbed to their electronic devices, this one is the irregular kind. There has been report in the past about it... people from outside the country ended up being pulled and ends here in Japan. The cases are apparently more prevalent in the past... Well, that's the idea."
Either way, Koharu looked around before twirling her Digivice slightly. "...Kon-chan, Warg, Realize."
The emblem on her digivice shone and shots out two lights, which quickly becomes a Black Guilmon X and Commandramon respectively.
"Do you need a briefing?" Koharu asked to her two partners.
"No, that's OK," Warg answered with a smile. "We heard you just fine."
"Saves us some time then. Kon-chan, do you remember important spots where Yuuki said the incidents happened?" Koharu asked.
Kon-chan immediately pulled out her own D-Nexus, operating it to show a map. "Miss Jasso was it? May I have your D-Terminal address? It'll be easier if we can share our map. I'll show a screenshot of areas that I have marked... Those are places that I think might be related to the disappearances..."
Should she does, Kon-chan sends map to the other two parties. The biggest marking she give is the spot where the fight happened in the park. The second one is the construction of the new Miyashita Park, which is simply an elevated garden. It's not open for public access yet. Another seem to be places closer to the secluded areas.
"...Those are the places I can think. As two of us don't have holosuits... probably we should just stay a bit clear on places that police can see..."
"Though at times like this...!" Warg took out boots and raincoat, making him looks no different than a kid. He pulls his tail as close as possible to his body. "As much as I want to pull Solid Snake, a moving cardbox would be concerning, hah hah. So I guess I'll be like this for a while."
"Same," Kon-chan commented, pulling the exact same look."Anyway, let's confirm the strategy. Where will three of our parties split, and when should we contact one another for updates?"

While it was still definitely too soon to assume there was a Digital entity involved in this girl’s disappearance, the fact that some Digimon-related events had occurred in this park before was definitely leading the group to believe the chance was increasing. This was made even clearer with the input shared by both Kenny and Koharu. One holosuited digimon per group… Okay. That sounded like a perfectly valid idea. While they debated about the places to visit in the park, Katherine’s green eyes drifted towards Koharu digivice. Luckily, the girl had been discrete enough while materializing her two digimon. They both seemed to be so in control of the situation! Especially the female Commandramon. After issuing a quick nod, Katherine replied to Kenny’s input. “I really hope we don’t have to fight.” She noted, folding her arms as she realized how the possibility of a digimon being involved in this kept growing. “We should stay in contact and avoid combat for the time being. The chances of drawing too much attention are high in this park even if we're just walking, imagine if we were to fight.”Koharu’s own input wasn’t too different from that. Immediately, Katherine abided by Konata’s request, offering her D-Terminal address to the dragon soldier. Sharing a map was an excellent idea. Once the map was in, Katherine, Jazz and Arianna looked at the tamer’s D-Terminal screen. It seemed like the three spots that they had to examine had been revealed. Three humans and four digimon were now to be split into three groups. Since the chances of having to fight someone on their own right now were scarce, they shouldn't need to have more than one of their partners around. Having this in mind, Arianna proposed a distribution. “Considering what Kenny suggested, we should put those who could raise more suspicion into different groups, right? In that case, Koharu can go with one of her partners, while the other one could go with Mrs. Katherine and Jazz.” That sounded about right? While Jazz was a holosuited digimon, she definitely wouldn’t raise as much attention as a purple-haired lady or a small creature in a coat. “Then, I can go with Kenny~”- Kenny and Arianna.
- Katherine, Jazz, and either Warg or Kon.
- Koharu and either Warg or Kon.
That was the distribution Arianna had put on the table, following Kenny’s quite intelligent plan to raise as little attention as possible. Did the group like this way of splitting? “If either of us finds something odd, we should immediately tell the rest.” That was more than obvious, wasn’t it? Besides, now that they were connected through their D-Terminals, it should be easy to communicate. “If any of the groups gets in trouble, this map will let the rest know where to go to help them.” Hopefully, that wouldn’t be necessary. “In that case, I think Kenny and I can take the construction site.” After stretching for a second, Arianna wrapped an arm around Kenny’s shoulder before delivering a playful wink. “I know we’ll make a Nonoroku great team!”
Katherine blinked twice before turning her head towards Koharu. “Nakan--- I mean, Koharu. Are you okay with visiting the fighting spot and us going to the secluded gardens?” It was left to be seen if the rest of the group agreed with this distribution and the places they were to examine. If that was the case, everyone should get moving now. There was a girl to find!

Koharu's theory was sound, all things considered, but if the perpetrators had dragged them somewhere, just where were they pulling them, and why? That raised more new questions than it answered. And by God, it didn't look like it would be answered so easily anytime soon. Regardless, Kenny looked at Katherine once more, "If we do have to 'fight', so to say," Emphasised with air quotes, no less, "I think we'd be better off trying to lose them or at least, repelling or neutralising them if push comes to shove. I could activate a Digi-port so one of us could trick them into going back home ASAP, but that's just a suggestion."
Still, Kenny would pull out his own D-Nexus as soon as Kon-chan sent the map over, his eyes scanning every single nook and cranny upon it. As he did, he chewed on the bottom of his lip; it seemed the scene of the fight seemed to be the most likely candidate for this whole recent hubbub when all hell broke loose. His eyes shot up back to Arianna as she spoke once more.
"Yeah, uh, that sounds good actually, Ari." He nodded with a smile. He was fine with it, either way. Even as a tamer, it was always good to have an extra helping hand to fall back upon should all hell break loose. After all, even if she could reach Perfect herself, Skadi did have a whole range of strengths and weaknesses that each form defiantly would appreciate the boon from teammates.
As his mind already went into figuring out what to do, it seemed Arianna had already taken Kenny on board to the construction site. He let out a surprised yelp as Arianna threw her arm around him, with no apparent warning, to boot. Still, he had to play along, just to make the kid happy, "I'm sure we will." He smiled at her, recovering from the shock, "You're quite the clever girl, you know that?"
Inside the D-Nexus, Skadi could be heard chuckling at her tamer's yelp.
Once everything was all set, they would set off to the construction site, as planned. Skadi just lay in the wings, ready to help Kenny and Arianna the moment any semblance of Hell would break loose. But either way, they knew they had to help in any way. Not that Kenny was one to moan about helping, anyways.
