Dokamon's attack had been a success. After recovering somewhat from Clayton's attack he had successfully shot out a blast of electricity right at the Kotemon. Being unprepared, Clayton took the full blast of the attack, allowing Dokamon to pick himself back up while he was stumbling from the initial shock.
Unlike what Dokamon did, Clayton gave his opponent a chance to anticipate what was coming next. Clayton asked if Dokamon could "take what he dishes out," and since Dokamon was not stupid he knew that an electric-based attack was coming up next. All he didn't know was what the actual attack WAS.
Dokamon watched as Clayton raised his blade up into the air and charged it with electricity before he spun around and around before dishing that electricity out right at the robotic Digimon. He held his arms in front of him to take the most of the attack, which ended up conducting through his arms and electrocuting the rest of him as well, meaning he took the full force of the Thunder Cyclone. "GAAAAAAAAH!"
"Dokamon!"
Clayton was getting tired. Dokamon could definitely tell. Granted, Dokamon himself was tired too, but he still had more fight left in him! He charged his right fist with energy before dashing right towards Clayton, colliding his fist with the Kotemon's gut. "DOKKAN PUNCH!" Dokamon uses "Dokkan Punch" on Clayton.
Dokkan Punch: Dokamon charges his fist with energy that greatly increases his strength as he punches an enemy.

Well that was a bad idea to shout out what attack you were going to do, hindsight was really bad for Clayton but it would seem it didn't matter much as his attack had been enough of a surprise to hit dead on giving Clay a moment to catch his breath a bit while Dokamon was recovering. He heard Johan call out Dokamon's name but he had to focus on what was going on now.
From where Clay was standing it seemed he wasn't the only one who was tired, it was harder for him to tell but Clay figured after those hits he must be tired. But there was more fight in Dokamon then Clay thought as he rushed over at Clayton with his fist raised aimed squarely for Claytons gut. Clay had enough time to react though and decided to go for his own attack.
Holding his blade back Clayton felt energy pour into the sword, the blade glowing red with energy as he held the blade up before rushing at Dokamon with the blade raised aiming to clash his wooden blade with Dokamon's fist. "Barrier Strike." he called out the name of the attack appearing in his mind randomly.
Clay aims to overpower Dokamon's fist, you can decide if he wins the clash or not idc.
[Barrier Strike] Charging their weapon with energy till it glows red and strikes with increased power, any shield type moves used by Rookie or below will be instantly shattered by the attack. 2 post cool down.
Sudden strike done cool down.

In an attempt to counter attack Dokamon's "Dokkan Punch" attack, Clayton had charged his wooden sword with some sort of red energy and collided it with Dokamon's energy-charged fist. The result was a powerful clash that would send both Dokamon and Clayton backwards somewhat, a small energy wave emitting from the clash that rustled grass and leaves, but was invisible and did no damage.
Dokamon managed to lift his body and sit upright, but it was tough for him. It was as if both him and Clayton each got hit with the combined strength of both their attacks. So while he could stand upright, getting up would be a bit of a challenge for him.
Johan, who was still recording the fight, had his mouth open a bit as he saw the clash. He didn't think anything like that was possible at Rookie level... one could only imagine what it would've been like if they were Champion or Ultimate level.
"NNnggg... are you able to get up, Clayton?" Dokamon asked his opponent through a pained grunt. The two attacks collided, resulting in combined damage of both attacks to both parties involved.

Clay did his best to hold his ground against the clash and push through, fatigue and damage had taken their toll though and he was sent backwards bouncing once on the ground before stopping. His wooden sword was sent flying off and hit the ground next to him, the fall managing to get it stuck in the soft ground.
Clayton was motionless for a moment as all of the sudden his evolution had enough and he transformed back into his regular human form still on the ground, his blade disappeared in a stream of data alongside the form leaving just a hole in the ground. When asked if he could get up Clayton simply muttered something incoherent for a moment before rolling on his stomach and pushing himself to a kneeling position.
"Barely, man I'm gonna be sore in the morning. Doubt I can still fight." he rubbed the back of his head and let out a slightly pained grunt. Transforming back seemed to have healed him a bit but most of the damage seemed to stay with the teen. Glancing over he saw Johan filming the whole thing, letting out a small laugh he gave a thumbs up. "Did you get my good side?"
Trying to get up he ended up falling down on his bum with a thud. "Jeez that was intense, you're quite the fighter Dokamon. Good fight, thanks for the match.

For rookie levels, that battle was very intense. It ended with a clash between the two sides, causing both of them to be knocked back by their own attacks. Dokamon was able to get up, but Clay reverted back to his human form claiming he was unable to fight. Dokamon sighed. "I may have one more attack in me, but then I will be spent entirely."
"I suppose that this means we can call this a tie match then? I cannot tell who the winner is," Johan asked. When he faced the camera towards Clayton, the Spirit User asked if Johan was getting his "good side". The Tamer laughed before putting it away and helping Clayton up onto his feet.
Clayton thanked Dokamon for the battle, claiming that he was a good fighter. The blue Digimon looked over at Clayton and bowed to him. "It was my pleasure. I was surprised to find how strong you were as well. Perhaps we shall battle again, after more training."
Suddenly a low grumbling sound was heard. Dokamon simply looked down at his midsection; it was clear that the noise had come from the Dokamon's stomach. "It seems that fight took more out of myself than I initially anticipated."
Johan smiled. "Well it is close to lunchtime. Do you wanna join us, Clayton? We'll pay for it all."

Clayton wondered for a bit before sighing. "Nah I'll take the loss, if Dokamon has an attack left in him I'd say that makes him the victor." Clayton pointed out as he got helped up by Johan, rising to his feet Clayton shook the dizziness he felt off before giving a smile. "That just means I gotta get better for next time, gotta keep improving."
With Dokamon bowing at him Clayton returned the bow, albeit a bit slower and not as deep as he'd like. "You're pretty great yourself, I'll be looking forward to the rematch though. I'll be sure to get much better in the meantime."
Clayton stifled a bit of a laugh hearing Dokamon's stomach growling like that, however his seemed to agree and do the same as well. "Yeah, I'm pretty beat myself, this spirit stuff is tiring." With Johan asking if he wanted to join them he simply gave a nod. "I'd hafta be crazy to turn that down."

Well, it seemed that food was on the mind for everyone here. The only question was where were they going to go to eat? Johan thought for a moment, but all of his ideas just seemed to involve hiding Dokamon or disguising him or something. He wanted to go somewhere where they could all just hang out...
And just like that a mini light bulb lit up. Snapping his fingers, Johan turned to Clayton. "So I was thinking we could be simple and just order pizza, but while we wait we could head up to the place Dokamon and I are staying at. That sound cool?"
If Clayton agreed to this, Johan would hold his right ear and walk away slightly as if he was talking to someone. After about a minute, Clayton and Dokamon would feel a breeze before realizing that Johan was missing. Ten seconds later, the same would happen again and Dokamon would be missing. Then ten seconds after THAT, Clayton would feel like he was being pushed or dragged somewhere for a few seconds before realizing that he was... in a VERY fancy living room, with Johan and Dokamon standing right there.
"Welcome to AEGIS HQ, Clayton. I trust you enough to let you up here. Besides, the director said it was okay to have guests so as long as you don't attack anyone, make yourself at home!"

Clayton was thinking about where to go as well, Dokamon made it a bit hard as not many places would probably be accommodating of a digimon. Before he could ask if Dokamon had a holo suit like Wormmon did Johan seemed to of already come up with an idea. "Oh, sure that sounds nice. Been a while since I've had pizza." he was in full agreement.
But the fact that Johan walked away holding his ear made Clayton a bit suspicious, he seemed to be talking to someone. Clayton pondered who it was for a bit but felt a breeze pass through him very quickly, looking around for a moment he looked back and Johan was gone. "Huh, Dokamon where did?" turning to where Dokamon was he was missing as well. Confusion set in as he glanced around before feeling himself being pushed somewhere, managing to catch himself before he fell he took another glance around to see he was in a living room?
Johan explained where they were, AEGIS HQ. "A bit of a warning would of been nice, you guys kinda just vanished on me." obviously Clayton had never gone through a portal like that. "But this is where you're staying? Looks nice. AEGIS though, some kinda group?" Clayton asked sitting down on the nearest chair.

Johan rubbed the back of his head when Clayton said he would've liked a bit of warning. "Sorry, Clayton. Right as I was about to warn you, Speed came and picked me up first. He really likes to get things done as soon as possible I guess."
"Lemme guess, your next words will be 'Who's Speed?', right?" a voice would suddenly ring from Clayton's left. By the time he would turn around, there would be no one on his left side.
His right side, however... "I'm right here, actually!" The voice would say, now actually remaining there long enough for Clayton to get a good look. This Digimon looked like a Flamedramon, only with blue eyes and the armor was pure orange and yellow. "Hahaha, did I scare ya there? Going fast is kinda my thing." In the blink of an eye this Digimon would then be sitting at the couch, one leg on top of the other. "Speed's my name, by the way."
"He's basically the Digimon equivalent of Sonic."
"Only somehow more annoying."
"Anyway, Johan mentioned something about getting pizza? Because I'd be down for that. Not sure if Psych even eats pizza, though. Oh, Psych's my brother. Try not to, uh... think. Like, at all."
"Alright then, what kind of pizzas should we get?"

While Clayton was still recovering from the small shock Johan mentioned someone named Speed, quite an odd name and before Clayton could ask who that was they interrupted him asking his question before he could, looking towards the voice they were missing before getting another shot and turning to the right to see the new digimon, when asked if he was afraid Clayton shrugged. "Heh, don't worry. A little jump now and then ain't gonna kill me."
When Speed introduced themselves Clayton couldn't help but think he looked pretty cool, design wise and everything. "Gotta admit you look pretty cool, name's Clayton Herron. Nice to meet you."
But that second part made Clayton pause, try not to… "Try not to think? What does that mean." he asked fully, saying just what was on his mind at the time.
"Pizza right, so long as it has a lot of pepperoni I don't mind."

"Yeah, unless that little jump happens near the edge of a building or somethin'," The Flamedramon variant would say. It got no laughs from either Johan or Dokamon. "...okay I expected the silence from Dokamon, but YOU, Johan?"
The human just shrugged. "Sorry Speed, it just wasn't that funny."
"Perhaps you shouldn't make everything you say be some form of joke."
The Speedramon would then pull down his bottom eyelid and stick his tongue out at Johan and Dokamon, before Clayton claimed he looked pretty cool. "Ha, see, he gets it!"
Speed warned Clayton to "not think," which made Clayton visibly confused. He's talking about myself, a voice would suddenly go into Clayton's head as a purple Flamedramon variant floated into the living room. Apologies for my... bizarre way of speaking, Clayton. I am Psych, Speed's older brother. I have the ability to read minds, but I do not do it unless it is part of my job or I feel as if I must.
"Hello, Psych. We're about to order pizza, do you want some?"
Hmmm... perhaps. I require it to have no mushrooms.
"And definitely no pineapple!"
"Okay, I never got that, what is wrong with pineapple on pizza?"
And Johan just opened a can of worms, Psych said, rolling his eyes as Speed inhaled to give a full rant on why pineapples on pizza was morally wrong. This may be a while. In the meantime, Clayton, tell me about yourself. Are you a Tamer? Spirit User? Xros General?

The whole little scare off a roof wouldn't earn any laughs from Clayton either as he just awkwardly scratched the back of his head as Speed mentioned that. "And coolness factor is instantly broken." Clayton joked with a small smirk.
Hearing a voice in his head was a very alarming and new experience, even if Clayton was slightly prepped for it. "It's no worries, a little shocking though. Digimon sure seem to have some crazy abilities." Rocket punches, super speed and reading minds. Clayton would be lying if he wasn't a bit overwhelmed at all this information at once.
At the mention of a can of worms opening Clay looked over to see speed about to give a rant, deciding to be scarce on that fight, sorry Johan, he took up Psyche on his questions. "Right, well I'm a spirit tamer. The spirit I got is a digimon named Kotemon. It was a bit odd though, I practice Kendo myself and Kotemon uses a sword."
But as Clayton answered he had a question of his own in the back of his head. "What about you and Speed, you mentioned you're his older brother? I didn't know that could happen. Are you partnered with Johan as well?" from what Clayton remembered people only had one partner digimon, were they part of this group Johan was in?

Right when Clayton said that Speed's coolness factor was instantly broken, Speed froze for a bit. The best way to describe what happened is simply with a scene in the first episode of Ouran Highschool Host Club, when Haruhi calls Tamaki obnoxious. Speed zoomed right into the corner of the room and pouted to himself.
Dokamon just rolled his eyes at that action. "He is not truly faltered by that comment; he simply believes he is so. Watch him, he shall get past it in a few seconds."
And Dokamon was right. A few seconds later Speed got bored of pouting and zoomed right back over to the group. "So, what did I miss?"
Psych understood what Clayton was saying about it being a little shocking. I usually have to ease others into the way I speak, or have Speed warn others for me before I quote-on-quote say a word.
And the argument commences. Johan versus Speed in the battle of "does pineapple belong on pizza". It would start off civil for now, but who knows how much it would escalate? In the meantime Clayton would declare himself to be a Spirit User, and his sprite spirit was a Kotemon. A Spirit User... interesting. AEGIS just gained one of those as a member recently.
Clayton then asked two questions: how Digimon brothers can happen, and if he and Speed were partnered with Johan as well. Yes, Speed and I are indeed brothers. Twins, in fact. We were hatched from the same egg. And no, we are not partnered with Johan, rather... we're more his backup. He helped us join AEGIS, so we owe even being here to him. He's a good kid, really. But just a tip; he is not as happy as you think he is. He's actually quite heartbroken. But do not tell him I told you this, however.

Clayton was a bit surprised how quick speed got sad so fast, he thought about that sentence a few more times in his head, quite the odd word combination. Dokamon however assured him that this wasn't anything to be worried about and sure enough as he said Speed was back and pretty much just like he was before. But Psyche mentioned his way of talking, while Clayton didn't fully understand it he was grateful for the warning. "Yeah I'm glad I got the warning, didn't get one when I was transported here. That was a bit odd to say the least." Johan and Dokamon vanishing before his eyes was weird enough, adding someone who speaks with telepathy on top? What a day.
Clayton wasn't listening in on the conversation about Pizza and decided to focus on what Psyche was telling him, but if pressed he'd admit that he's on Speeds side with that. The idea about twins was simple enough to grasp, but the fact that digimon came out of eggs was a bit surprising. Before he could process that however Psyche mentioned something about Johan being heartbroken. "Really? I had no idea." Clayton made sure to keep his voice a bit more down so Johan wouldn't hear him. "What hap-"
Clayton didn't finish though as he thought more on that, thinking to his own missing sister and his experience he calmly shook his head. "Nevermind, I shouldn't hear it from you. If Johan wanted me to know he'd tell me himself. I'll just try and be a friendly face, probably the best I can do anyway." while he was curious about this heartbreak he felt hearing it second hand like this would seem dishonest, plus he just met Johan and figured he wouldn't like Clay knowing about something like that.

Clayton said he didn't get any warning at all when he arrived here. Psych raised an eyebrow. Johan must have asked Speed to bring you all back here. Speed wastes no time at all when it comes to using his power for literally any purpose. Johan should have warned you before calling him.
Just as Clayton had feared... "Clayton, right? You've gotta be on my side about this! Tell the egghead there that pineapples on pizza is an abomination!"
"You are overreacting, Speed. It is not an abomination, and we don't have to get them as a topping if you don't want."
"No, pineapples must never go on pizza again!" At this point Johan gave up. He rolled his eyes and pulled out his phone to begin ordering the pizzas.
Dokamon facepalmed while Psych looked away, both embarrassed by the way these two were arguing over something as trivial as a pizza topping. Johan had more credit, as he was very level headed and was trying to end it peacefully. "Speed is a decent agent, but his maturity is around the same level as an in training Digimon."
Indeed... but he does have his good moments.
Clayton was about to ask what happened when Psych brought up Johan's past, but he decided against it, saying he'd tell Clayton himself if he wanted him to know about it. Understood. The only reason I know about it is because I've read his mind.
