Sun, Sand, and...

"Stupid Nanami..." Mocha complained, shaking off the sand all over her. She had buried so deep down there was wet sand mixed in that clumped to her fur. It was going to take forever to get off. "You're not supposed to bury my entire body under the sand. I nearly suffocated..."
"S-sorry... we got kinda carried away!" Nanami answered, sitting in the sand with Cream on her lap. "Some of us a little more than others!"
"My mistake," Was all the Terriermon had to say. Meanwhile Mu-kun had disappeared for a while, presumably to revert to her original form. Either that or she just had to use the bathroom again.
Omen, Ryuji, and Yoshihiro had left now, just leaving the trio present. Mocha was... unsure about how she felt. Of course she didn't like being buried in the sand, but seeing everyone laugh and smile around her was... something new to the Lopmon. Yoshihiro was far too stuck-up and self-aggrandizing for her liking, but he made Mocha realize something about herself.
She realized that she didn't have to constantly brag about how awesome she was, because it just made her sound pathetic. She knew she was the best Digimon around, and she didn't have to prove it to anyone but herself. And maybe Cream. She couldn't care less about Ryuji, though. He was just a cardboard cutout to the Lopmon. The only thing he knew was that he apparently got nervous around human girls other than Nanami and that he didn't like being climbed on.
And Omen was a good kid, too. And capable of having so much fun with her talents, too. Mocha may be the smartest and sexiest Digimon around, but she had to admit she was a little jealous of what the Wispmon was capable of. She would never admit that out loud, of course. Plus she got really attached to Nanami, something the Lopmon could understand. Maybe they would get the chance to meet again someday, and if they did, Mocha needed to think up a way to use Omen's talents to have some real fun.
"So... next time we visit the beach, I want to go out there!" Nanami exclaimed, pointing to the sea.
"Nanami, swimming with those injuries is probably really bad..." Cream warned the little girl.
"That's okay, I'll wait until they heal! And I can't even swim in the first place!" She proclaimed proudly.
"Well we can't exactly swim out there with you on our backs," Mocha warned, moving towards Nanami's lap and shaking violently to get as much loose sand off her fur as possible, and maybe get some revenge on Cream and Nanami while she was at it.
"Then we'll get a boat, and just go out and see what's out there!" Nanami answered. "Maybe we'll meet some friendly pirates, or... hey, do you think we'll get to meet any friendly fish Digimon?"
"Who knows?" Mocha replied, leaning back on Nanami's torso so she was looking up at the little girl's face. "But I can't imagine that we'll do as much fighting as we did today!"
